BODY sculpting at home
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So girls, you know we do not gate keep up in here. I have been doing Wooden therapy for a lil while and i never loved my body more. Off course workout and intermittent fasting has been a huge help in reshaping my body but so doing lymphatic drainage.
Lymphatic drainage is basically a way to improve the flow lymph ( bad fluid in your body ) through your lymphatic system. There is many way of doing so but the technique i love the most is wooden therapy and dry brushing.
I feel that my skin has been super clear and glowing. I am less bloated and each time a do so i feel so relaxed.
Here are few benefit to this:
It reduces swelling and puffiness
It detoxifies the body
It boots the immune system
It improves your skin Health
It relieves stress and tension

Become Your Best Version Before 2025 - Day 16
Digital Detox and Mindful Living
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Today, let's talk about something we all struggle with: our relationship with our devices. You know the drill: endless scrolling, bouncing between apps, answering notifications like your phone’s your boss. It’s exhausting! I’ve been there, too. One moment, I’m looking up a recipe; the next, I’m deep in a rabbit hole watching “hot girl morning routine” vlogs or reviews of the trendiest Stanley cup dupes.
And then I’m left wondering, where did my time go?
But this isn't about making you feel guilty or telling you to throw your phone away. Instead, let's explore how to create a healthier balance between our online and offline lives.
Simple Ways to Start
When it comes to digital wellness, small changes can make a big difference:
Put your phone in another room while you sleep
Turn off non-essential notifications
Use grayscale mode on your phone (it makes those colorful apps less tempting!)
Set specific times to check social media instead of constant scrolling
Creating Phone-Free Zones
Choose spaces in your life where phones aren't invited:
During meals
The first hour after waking up
While having coffee or tea
In conversations with friends
Your bedroom (or at least not right next to your bed)
Mindful Moments
Replace mindless scrolling with mindful activities:
Take three deep breaths before checking your phone
Look out the window instead of at your screen during breaks
Notice the sounds around you while walking
Feel the warmth of your coffee cup in the morning
Observe the colors and shapes in your environment
Screen Time Swaps
For every digital habit, create a fulfilling alternative:
Instead of morning scrolling → journaling or stretching
Instead of bedtime TikTok → reading or gentle stretching
Instead of lunch break Instagram → eating mindfully
Instead of endless news scrolling → reading one quality article fully
The Art of Being Present
Practice presence in simple ways:
Notice the taste and temperature of your food
Feel the sensation of water on your skin while washing your hands
Listen to the sounds in your environment
Observe your breath for a few moments
Feel your feet connecting with the ground as you walk
Creating Better Digital Habits
Make technology work for you:
Use app timers to limit social media use
Schedule "do not disturb" hours
Organize apps by purpose, not habit
Delete apps that don't add value to your life
Move social media apps off your home screen
Reconnecting with Reality
Fill your offline time with meaningful activities:
Start a hobby that uses your hands
Have face-to-face conversations
Spend time in nature
Write letters to friends
Cook a meal from scratch
Read physical books
Practice drawing or coloring
Your Daily Digital Detox Plan
Start small with these daily practices:
Morning: Wait 30 minutes before checking your phone
Work: Take regular screen breaks (try the 20-20-20 rule)
Evening: Set a digital sunset time
Bedtime: Create a phone-free bedtime routine
The goal isn't to eliminate technology, it's to use it intentionally.
Today's Challenge
Choose ONE phone-free zone to implement
Try a 10-minute mindful activity instead of scrolling
Notice how you feel during and after this change
Every moment you choose presence over distraction is a gift to yourself. You don't have to be perfect, just a little more mindful each day.
See you tomorrow for Day 17!

detoxification and behavioural addiction
a detox, short for detoxification, refers to the process of removing toxic substances from the body. medically, detoxing is an essential step in addiction recovery. it helps individuals safely eliminate toxic and addictive substances from their bodies while managing withdrawal symptoms. it’s crucial for those with physical and psychological signs of substance dependence.
i believe, personally, that everyone has a 'drug of choice'. this isn't necessarily a substance but can be a hobby or activity. even a person. addictive behaviour arises from a desire to escape an undesirable reality through fantasy living. daydreams about a better life can drive these behaviours.
a negative example of a 'drug of choice' could be excessive eating. it's a compulsive behaviour and a coping mechanism for some individuals. some studies suggest that the brain's reward pathways involved in addiction may also play a role in binge eating.
a positive example of a 'drug of choice' is someone who dances, compulsively and as a coping mechanism. this person may use dance as an outlet - to express themself. it allows them to focus on the present moment and can reduce stress and anxiety.
obviously, this behaviour becomes an issue when it is dangerous, and excessive. this is a reason to detox.
too often, the word 'detox' is thrown around online, without many people understanding what the process actually is.
your body naturally eliminates toxins through organs like the liver, kidneys, digestive system, skin, and lungs. no special diets or expensive supplements are required for this process. detox diets often include laxatives, diuretics, teas, and other products. however, evidence doesn’t support their effectiveness for toxin elimination or sustainable weight loss. your healthy organs already handle detoxification efficiently.
detox is only the initial step towards recovery. it's super important to seek professional help if needed, find people to talk to, understand your vulnerabilities and triggers, and set boundaries.
the key is to find a healthy outlet, your 'drug of choice'.
finding a healthy outlet involves discovering activities that nourish your well-being and provide positive emotional release. consider your interests, passions, and what brings you joy. reflect on past experiences - what activities made you feel fulfilled.
some ideas for different activities include:
running
dancing
playing music
gardening
yoga
cooking
pay attention to how different activities make you feel. choose something that energizes you rather than drains you. mix physical, mental, and social outlets. avoid overcommitting - balance is key.
something to be aware of is the mind-body connection. it's the intricate interplay between our mental and physical health. it recognizes that our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours significantly impact our overall well-being.

Digital detox diet: how to clean up photos
Tumblr media
Im tidying up my phone today and had trouble figuring out what i need to keep and throw away, and where to even start. Its a mess! But i started anyway and my icloud can finally back up. Theres more i want to clean but i made a good start and set some simple parameters to help:
Tumblr media
Delete:
✿ bad photos: photos taken badly, have higher standard for myself for photography and improving at it
✿ repeat photos: when you spam photograph and leave all 20 photos, just go through and pick the best 1
✿ photos that dont bring me joy: Any remaining that no longer bring me joy: friends im no longer close to, when i feel ready I can let it go
✿ screenshots: if its of something i can write down, write it down instead to save space, otherwise if its screenshots like receipts or temporary photos that served their purpose: delete
✿ internet photos: drawing references i no longer need (i can always look it up again), inspiration that ive outgrown
✿ personal work: keep the minimum documentation (at highest quality), delete process photos that served their purpose
Tumblr media
Mindset:
✿ Be ready to confront yourself at various stages of your life while clearing digital clutter, meaning reflect on past experiences, "embarrassing" photos of an old you, appreciate your growth, keep what warms your heart, and let go what has served its purpose. Its all part of your journey.
✿ Don't hoard out of fear: hoarding is fear-based: "i need to keep all these 20 photos in case i lose one, what if i forget about this experience and never experience that joy again"= fear-based. Instead,
✿ collect and curate: what you want to remember and what is important to you in THIS MOMENT while appreciating in your heart the experiences that led up to it
✿ Digital clutter is still clutter like physical, we can just cram so much of it into a harddrive that it doesnt seem that way. But it still takes up mental space, so do your best to free up mental space by putting in the work to tidy up
Tumblr media
Lastly so the effort doesnt go to waste:
✿ Back up phone to computer or harddrive (not cloud)
Tumblr media
Thanks for reading ♡

Insta Anxiety ? Is Social Media Making You Feel Like Your Life Isn't Good Enough?
I know that almost everyone in this generation especially teens often start doing anything to make their life look good even if their real life doesn't look special but this is not a problem there are always problems in real life and it doesn't mean you're unlucky. When we see good highlights of people on social media we feel anxious and depressed that our life is worthless and then we start finding ways to create and look better on Instagram and when expectations are not met this leads to depression.
Why we are doing this ??
Growing up everyone wants to fit in and be liked but social media makes these feelings even stronger. Both boys and girls sometimes do things that don't really match who they are. They might post revealing photos or join in on challenges that can be risky or not safe. Why do they do this? Often, it's because they want to feel accepted and praised by others. When they see others getting attention for certain actions they worry about missing out or think they have to do the same to be liked. This constant comparing can make them feel bad about themselves and even cause anxiety and sadness.
But Anyways It's Time For The Practical Advice Now *Worksheets in the end*
1. Set some goals that really matter to you like getting better at a hobby, hitting fitness milestones, or just growing as a person. When you focus on what you truly care about offline it takes your mind off comparing yourself to others on social media.
2. Try out meditation to help you stay in the moment and notice when those comparison thoughts creep in. Instead of getting caught up in what others are doing remind yourself of the good stuff in your own life.
3. Remember social media's like a highlight reel of people's lives it's not the full story. Don't let those perfect posts make you feel like your life's not measuring up. Everyone's dealing with stuff they don't show.
4. Celebrate what makes you, well, YOU. Don't feel pressured to fit some mold you see online. Embrace your quirks and what sets you apart from the crowd. That's what makes you awesome.
5. Spend more time doing things that bring you joy offline. Hang with friends explore your creative side or even get involved in your community. Real life experiences beat scrolling any day.
6. Take some time to think about who you are and what really matters to you. Focus on growing and improving for yourself not because of what others might think.
7. If there are accounts or posts that always leave you feeling down or envious don't hesitate to unfollow or mute them. Your mental health comes first and curating your feed can make a big difference.
8. Find your worth inside yourself not from how many likes or comments you get. You're valuable just because you're you not because of what others think.
9. Be genuine on social media and connect with people who share your interests and values. When you're real and authentic you'll build relationships that matter online and off.
The main point is :
When you see those people on social media showing off and posting fancy stories, they're just wasting their time. Maybe their world is limited to just that on social media trying to look good. But here's the thing don't let all of that affect you. Keep your life goals big so these things don't impact your time and life. Your life is different, you are different. This is a great time to polish and refine yourself because half the world is wasting their time watching reels and fighting in comments. So don't feel down or bad about yourself just because of lame people and their lame stories.
Here is the link of self reflection prompts that encourage you to reflect on such social media habits
Here is the link of Goal setting template that provides framework for setting realistic and meaning full goals related to personal growth
