﴿وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَشَدُّ مِنۡهُم بَطۡشࣰا فَنَقَّبُوا۟ فِی ٱلۡبِلَـٰدِ هَلۡ مِن مَّحِیصٍ ۝٣٦ إِنَّ فِی ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ لَذِكۡرَىٰ لِمَن كَانَ لَهُۥ قَلۡبٌ أَوۡ أَلۡقَى ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَهُوَ شَهِیدࣱ ۝٣٧﴾ [ق ٣٦-٣٧]

( 36 ) And how many a generation before them did We destroy who were greater than them in [striking] power and had explored throughout the lands. Is there any place of escape? ( 37 ) Indeed in that is a reminder for whoever has a heart or who listens while he is present [in mind].

اللَّهُمَّ جَدِّدِ الإِيمَانَ فِي قَلْبِي

Ya Allah, renew faith"Al-Iman" in my heart .

If I’m doing something good, with Intentions that aren’t entirely pure should I still do the good thing or leave it because my intentions are impure ?

Eg.

I want to take Islamic books to school and put them in the communal prayer room so that someone can make use of them, gain knowledge and become closer to Allah SWT. However in the back of mind a part of me wants to do this so people will perceive me as more pious and religious

Is it wrong to think like this? Shall I still take the books? Are my intentions impure?

Pls don’t hesitate to be as harsh as you want, I would like truthful advice with no sugar coating. In sha’Allah.

Ibn al-Jawzi رحمه الله said:

"Endure the nights of hardship because if you look through the eye of patience you shall see the dawn of reward. Indeed the lofty ranks can be attained only by undergoing hardship! Did you not notice the thorns growing beside the roses?"

I am scared of men who don't lower their gaze.

I am terrified of them.

It's an affirmation that they don't love and respect you enough to look away.

That they don't care that Allah is watching them.

When the eyes are not loyal, how can the heart be?

O Allah, grant me a husband who will respect me, a husband who will honor me with his whole being.

Grant me a husband who fears You as if he is seeing You and who lives for You until he meets You.
