So, back in October I was putting together the Jamemi relationship timeline, and mentioned Emi getting a cozy cuddly mamasan chair for Ramshackle as part of the repairs after book 6.

And ever since then, I've had in my head this image of Emi and Jamil falling asleep on that chair all cuddled up.

So I commissioned @mellosdrawings to bring said image into reality, and

In my head this is happening early on after they became official (at least to each other), so sometime near the end of Emi's first year at NRC.

Their plan was to just sit around and chill for a bit. But it's been a long day of all the nonsense that NRC likes to throw at people (and what Kalim likes to throw at Jamil), and at some point Emi got cozy enough, all snuggled up against Jamil, that she ended up drifting off. And turns out Jamil didn't really have the heart to move her around or wake her - and ended up falling asleep, too.

Cue the picture.

Goodness though my heart, it is just so lovely seeing this brought to life. 🥹

the fact that the na’vi sign language was created by an actual deaf person makes me so happy as a coda 🥺 deaf people and sign language users are finally getting the recognition they deserve, especially in the filming industry. i’ll never not be proud of my culture (believe it or not, it’s a whole culture)

The sign language created for this movie shows the creativity and dedication James Cameron did to add to the story and characters. 💙

i sincerely do not care about writing or reading right now. i’d say i’m sorry for that, but i’m not. it’s bizarre and truly disgusting how many people have unfollowed me in the last 24 hours or less since i would rather spread awareness of something that is going on in the real world. something that is heartbreaking and something that has been happening for the past 75+ years and is still happening over me writing about a fucking pixel. truly, it proves so many things, and it definitely proves that some of you do not care about it. seriously, fuck you.

This is my new Scrapbook! My first entry is of the Witch diet by @honeysugarfree (all of their diets are amazing)

I have encoded all the text, here’s what it says without the code:

Text in the heart: Add small positivity charms when you cook or bake. Eat mostly herbs and Plants, Stew, Soup, Pie and Potatoes.

Text in the middle: Break your fast with a single magical berry. Your meal ought to be as well crafted as your practise: charted meticulously and exactly.

Text on the bottom right: Most Important: Don’t get caught! If they catch you, you will burn at the stake. In order to contain the energy needed for spells, you must abstain from consuming external Energy. It is natural and mediative this way.

All the credits for the text go to honey, i’ve changed a couple of things up to better fit the spacing though.

Sirius was huddled in the Astronomy Tower, looking up at the stars.

He just wanted to stargaze on a clear night for once, was that too much to ask for? Obviously it was, as not only was it cold, but also windy. 

Sirius shivered, standing up and leaving the Tower to go to the dorm room. When he entered the dorm, he spotted Remus lying in his bed, reading a book.

“Moony,” Sirius whined. “Moony, come cuddle with me. I’m freezing.”

“Yeah, okay, sweetheart,” Remus said, bookmarking his book and closing it. “Now c’mere, you drama queen. D’you want a sweater?”

Sirius nodded, climbing into the bed and laying next to his boyfriend. “Yeah, that would be nice, Moons.”

Remus got up to grab a sweater from his trunk, patting Sirius’s head when he whined from the loss of contact. “Here ya go, Pads. Now, d’you want to be the big spoon or the little spoon?”

“Little spoon, Moony. I’m cold,” Sirius said, shivering dramatically for effect, pulling on the sweater.

“And why are you cold?” Remus asked.

“Because I was stargazing, duh,” Sirius snarked. “Can you please hold me, Moons? Pretty pretty please?”

“Of course, cariad. Just remember to bring a sweater the next time you go stargazing, okay? Wouldn’t want you to get sick,” Remus said, pulling Sirius close to his chest.

“Mhm, okay, Moons,” Sirius mumbled, already halfway asleep.
