❝Two years ago, I lost both my parents in an accident. It felt like… my whole world collapsed. All my happiness was gone. But I had to keep going, carrying that sadness inside me.I’ve been wondering when I’ll finally be free of this feeling. Every time I think of the happy moments, thoughts of my parents… bring back sadness and take over. If I had a choice, I would choose to feel nothing at all.❞

you are keeping us well fed with the disabled!reader poolverine storyline tysm <3
The older boys, once fed and walked settled in with their devices. Content to play games with Wade and annoy you. The younger, Logan noted, velcroed himself to your side. Wanting to be held, wanting to be snuggled. And you were more than happy to do it.
He didn't want to rough house. When the livingroom devolved into a baby cage match, he brought you a book. Clamoring into your lap. And the two men traded a look.
You gathered him up, kissing the side of his head and just started reading. No questions or protests. And even the Older boys, drawn in by their own memories of story time made their way over with pillows to sprawl on. Settling in with their phones.
They felt a pang. You wouldn't get your own babies to cuddle, but it was pretty clear that the kids that you did get to love knew you were safe in your house. Making themselves at home. All day, they hadn't hesitated to get a snack or tease you. They never flinched at what Wade looked like or Logan's brooding. They knew your world was different even if they didn't know how exactly.
When Ronnie, the youngest dozed off you held him for a little bit before wiggling out and letting him lay on the couch and throwing a blanket over him. "Looks like I should start figuring out dinner, huh?"
"Pizza?" Zach, the oldest put in.
"You got, pizza money, homie?" you ask, leaning on the back of his chair, "Because I got 'works for the state' money and that will not order pizza for you three heathens."
"Aww man-"
"I do have mac and cheese stuff and some smoked susage and green beans, though," you muse.
"But is there extra cheese?" Zach asked.
"Do I look like your mother?"
He grinned and you ruffled his hair, heading to the kitchen to go start cooking and he followed you. Logan listened with half an ear, he knew a kid looking for a pep talk when he saw one.
And when he leaned against your shoulder and you rested your head on his for a second, Logan smiled a little. evidently you did too. "What's wrong, bug?"
"Nothing-"
"Uh-huh."
Zach huffed and you just waited, filling a pot with water and bustling around. "I just- mom's got me signed up for so much shit- and like, why?"
"Mostly because your grandma did it to us," you muse. "And also because she doesn't want you to turn out like us- mostly me."
Zach gave you a look and you smile a little. "I spent an absurd amount of time trying to be someone I wasn't baby. I just... Don't care about cars and having a big ass house. I don't WANT the life they mapped out for me. And even if I DID, I'm not sure I could even do it."
He watched you work for a second and looked at his brothers before looking back at you. "I used to try. And I'm not saying you shouldn't. But. Give yourself some grace... And as hard as it can be, give your mom some grace. She loves you."
He snorted and you crinkle your nose. "She does. Even if she doesn't show it like we want her to- Remember. She ALSO had to survive our parents and live to tell about it."
Zach shook his head, "Grandma is unhinged, dude."
"And she mellowed out once Dad started slipping her Klonopin. So. Imagine what she was like BEFORE that."
"Ugh." Zach shuddered and you nudged him out of your way handing him a soda with a laugh.

...imagine if Sera starts off as a customer before eventually deciding to work there? So Sera starts with having the hot business owner and barista flirting with her and then it turns into her hot boss flirting with her
She is very very gay panic
Sera wants to check out the new local coffee shop that’s been encroaching on her business. People seem to love it, and she wants to know what all the fuss is about. She gets there bright and early on one of her days off, and there is a line already queueing up outside the entrance right before it’s scheduled to open.
She ends up waiting for about 30 minutes before she even makes it to the counter with her order. The space is a lot more cozy and homey than the corporate place she owns, with lots of couches and comfy seats. Much better than those plastic and faux leather things where she works.
When she reaches the counter, Sera blushes at the sight of the barista standing in front of her. She’s beautiful; possibly the most beautiful woman she’s ever seen. She’s older than the teenagers who work for Sera, but then Sera notices there are two younger women working the counter behind her. Sera assumes this person in particular is the owner; the place is so busy, they probably need every hand on deck when it’s this busy.
As soon as the older woman hands off an order to the customer in front of her, she takes one look at Sera, and the smile on her face is filled with something resembling amazement and stark interest. Like she’d been expecting someone else, but Sera showed up instead.
“Hello…I’ve never seen you here before, hermosa. What can I get you?”
Sera blushes at the nickname. Immediately it’s apparent this woman is flirting with her, and she’s not sure if what she feels in response is discomfort or embarrassment or…something else. She shuffles unsteadily on her feet. Is it getting hot in here?
Sera clears her throat and places her order. The woman tells her “just a minute, carino,” and then bustles behind the counter for a few moments, returning with a hot drink in hand.
The woman’s soft hand brushes against Sera’s as she gives her the latte. Sera almost drops it at the sensation of soft, supple fingers against her hand, but Carmilla doesn’t let her, making sure the beverage is transferred between them safely. Disaster averted. Sera flushes at her almost-blunder.
Carmilla chuckles, smile never leaving her face as she half-whispers, “The name’s Carmilla. Ask for me, next time. We’re less busy in the afternoon.”
With that, the woman who’d called herself Carmilla continues on to help the next customer. Sera notices the spark has left her eyes once Sera is no longer talking to her. She can’t help but notice how…happy that observation makes her feel.
Sera leaves the coffee shop, ready to head home, with a little more pep in her step than when she arrived. She decides she will be back this evening, to see if she can cash in on Carmilla’s invitation. She’s looking forward to it, if she’s honest.

All About Glen
I'm in the mood for something... easy.
Or, rather, I thought this would be easy. Then I went deep diving and have yet to surface. This post will likely edited a few more times in the next few days (maybe? I'll let you know either way), so keep an eye out!
So... who is Glen Powell? Besides a possible new rising star in Hollywood. (Certainly his upcoming projects say he's in high demand!)
Come with me, and I shall tell you!
Tumblr media
Also, I had so much fun diving into his background! Learned more about this guy than I realized!
(And I also turned my daughter into a Glen Powell fan! I'll explain why/how in a bit!)
Raised in Austin, Texas, born on October 21, 1988, to Glen Powell Sr and Cyndy Powell, he's the middle child of three. And the only boy. He has an older sister named Lauren and a younger sister, Leslie. Named after his father, the Original Glen (no, seriously, that's his Instagram!), Glen was a child actor. He started performing with the Austin Musical Theater program when he was in the fifth grade, learning to tap dance--according to Leslie, there is video evidence--and appearing in The Music Man and 42nd Street.
Oh, he explored all sorts of extracurriculars' growing up. Football, lacrosse, all sorts. However, his passion and fascination were movies.
The actor recalled that he would be “picking dandelions” in the outfield while playing baseball as a kid, and his parents, Cyndy and Glen Sr., were ready to let him try something else.
“I played violin for a bit, and all of a sudden, I was like, ‘No, not into this anymore.’ They let me give it up,” he continued, noting they were supportive until Powell found something he “really loved.” That’s where his acting career comes in.
At the precious age of 5, his father took him to see Steven Spielberg's megahit, Jurassic Park, in the summer of 1993. Glen ended up watching the movie multiple times in theaters, and again on home video, trying to figure out the secrets of the film's special effects.
In an interview with Austin Monthly, Glen said he began making his own science fiction films growing up. He'd use a home video camera, computer, recruited his friends to be actors, and searched for props in his family's basement. Seeing this, his parents encouraged him to enroll in acting classes.
His second grade project was on Steven Spielberg's use of practical effects in Jurassic Park. In 2003, when he was 14, he got his first movie role as "long-fingered boy" in Spy Kids 3: Game Over. His location in Austin helped him land the role. Director Robert Rodriguez discovered Powell, then 14, while looking for "local hires" to accompany the primarily Los Angeles-based cast.
"You're just trying to find someone locally that won't get nervous, that'll give a performance that kind of measures up to the other actors. He walks in with a stature and confidence and just nails it," Rodriguez told IndieWire. "So now, it's no surprise to see [he made it as an actor], but he already had that quality at 14 and clarity of vision that that's what he was supposed to be."
Two years later, he played a paperboy in The Wendell Baker Story, a part that required him to get hit by a car, which he practiced with his mother in a church parking lot.
In 2006, everything changed. His mother, Cyndy, drove him five hours to Shreveport, La., to audition for Denzel Washington, who was directing and starring in The Great Debaters. Powell got the part--and a powerful agent: Ed Limato, who represented Washington.
Powell also starred in Fast Food Nation (2006), and The Hottest State (2006) over the next few years.
Still in high school at Westwood, Powell even considered deprioritizing his acting career until receiving a pep talk from Denzel Washington during the filming of The Great Debaters. In the movie, Powell played Harvard University student Preston Whittington and impressed the two-time Oscar winner. "Denzel Washington really pushed me out of the nest a bit and said, 'You should double-down on yourself. You should give [acting] a shot'," Powell said.
A year later, Limato called Powell in his dorm room at the University of Texas at Austin.
"Ed said, 'If you're going to spin the wheel on an acting career, now is the time to do it'," Powell said.
Taking a chance, Powell dropped out of college and moved to Los Angeles in 2008. “Ed always told me, over and over, that the definition of a movie star is somebody who guys want to grab a beer with — fun, not threatening — and who women want to date and bring home to meet their parents,” Powell said.
Limato had a history of helping turn actors into big stars--among his clients? Mel Gibson, Richard Gere, and Kevin Costner. Limato also gave Powell a crucial career tip: Don’t take on a role in a big franchise too soon, however tempting the paycheck; stars are built in smaller movies of varied genres.
Unfortunately for Powell, Limato died two years later, leaving him without an advocate.
It was a rough and learning time for Glen. He supported himself through coaching community sports and small acting jobs (a Dockers commercial, an episode of The Lying Game, a cable series).
Not long after Powell moved to Los Angeles, Limato introduced him to Lynda Obst, a fellow Texan and a producer of hits like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Contact, and Sleepless in Seattle. She hired Powell as an intern, a job that involved reading scripts and giving feedback.
It helped him learn how Hollywood ran.
Obst recalled, "He was adorable--charm off the charts. But that is not what impressed me, and it's not why he's succeeding." She went on: "Actors can turn on charm, but they can't turn on intelligence. Glen is smart and learned about developing scripts and the structure in movies. It made him independent and wily."
He eventually got dropped by the William Morris Endeavor talent agency. He began to question whether superstardom was even achievable anymore. He took to writing scripts and sold several to help keep himself afloat during his shaky start.
Glen took Washington's advice and gradually began appearing in more prominent titles, including the Christopher Nolan-directed Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises, in 2012 as an unnamed Gotham Stock Exchange Trader. He also appeared in the ensemble movie, The Expendables 3, in 2014, appearing alongside action stars such as Sylvester Stallone, Harrison Ford, and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In 2016, he played astronaut John Glenn in Hidden Figures. Glen was cited as saying that upon viewing a rough cut of the film with unfinished special effects, he was critical of his performance. "I just remember being like 'I ruined this beautiful movie, the legacy of these amazing women'," he explained in an interview with Variety.
Fortunately, critics and the audience disagreed--the movie made more than $230 million at the box office and received an Academy Award nomination for Best Picture.
He took a detour into comedy for his next roles, including the teen movie Everybody Wants Some!! (2016), and the Netflix rom-com Set It Up (2018).
In between all that, he went onto a recurring role on Scream Queens (Ryan Murphy's show on Fox), and appear in The Guernsey Literary and Potato Pie Society. He's even done voice roles, such as the Netflix cartoon, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous, and an episode of Rick and Morty.
How he got the huge leap to everyone's attention was something he nearly turned down. He lost out on blockbuster roles including Captain America, Han Solo in Solo, in addition to pieces in films ranging from Friday Night LIghts to Cowboys & Aliens and The Longest Ride.
His break was something he nearly missed out on.
When Miles Teller beat him out of the part of Rooster in Top Gun: Maverick, and Tom Cruise and director Joe Kosinski offered him the role of Hangman instead.
The problem?
"If I were editing this movie, I would cut him out immediately," Powell said to British GQ. The original version of the character was a lousy pilot who made it to Top Gun through nepotism, a storyline Powell thought did the film a disservice.
Luck was with him. Cruise and Kosinski decided to hear him out and ended up convinced, rewriting the character based on Powell's notes.
“What we were talking about is, how can Hangman service the story and give the flavour of the original Top Gun that you need?” Powell said.
“I said my piece to Tom about what I do and what I do well, and he listened. Tom’s a listener. He listens to the crew members, he listens to his collaborators, and he hears people.”
And good thing he did — Top Gun: Maverick went on to become a box office phenomenon, and Powell’s career got the kickstart he had waited so long for.
2022 was his year. He appeared in the war drama Devotion, the Netflix animated comedy Apollo 10 1/2: A Space Age Childhood, and Top Gun: Maverick. The latter, the sequel to the 1986 vehicle--became the biggest movie of the year, grossing nearly $1.5 billion at the global box office.
Powell underwent extensive training for the film, including underwater escape simulations and flights in F-18 aircraft to prepare for the G-forces he would experience on camera. Cruise even paid for the actor to complete flight school as a Christmas present, allowing Powell to earn his pilot's license.
We all know what happened after this. His role with Sydney Sweeney on Anyone But You brought him even more attention. His future projects will keep him busy for at least a couple of years. (He did tease he has a start date for Top Gun 3, but has refused to say more than that.)
He's been romantically linked to Nina Dobrev in 2017, Australian TV host Renee Bargh from 2018 to 2019. He began dating model Gigi Paris, starting in 2020. We know in April of 2023, they broke up for good.
Glen Powell Sr, his father, was an executive coach. His mother? A stay at home mom. Leslie is working on her career as a singer, and was fortunate enough to have had a song be used for the Olympics!
Both parents have trolled the hell out of Glen during the premiere of Hit Man. In a way, his family is what keeps Glen grounded.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Amusingly, Us Weekly described his parents as the first ever nepo parents.
“The greatest gift that my parents gave me is never making me sit in things I didn’t want to sit in and letting me chase the passions I wanted to chase, no matter what,” Powell, 35, told Us Weekly exclusively while promoting his new movie Twisters. “I am really grateful for my parents for not trying to deter me from a job that has such a low success rate.”
As his fame continued to rise, his parents have made various cameos in his movies over the years.
His Instagram is full of photos of behind the scenes, with family, and of course, Brisket.
There was a rumor that Glen was opening a restaurant in Austin. This has been researched and debunked. I did go into detail about his future projects here.
--
So how did I convert my daughter into a fan?
Because I was talking to her about the gossip regarding him and Sydney Sweeney. I showed her the photos, then I showed her how he was with his other female costars.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With Adria Arjona from Hit Man.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
With Daisy Edgar-Jones from Twisters.
And her first thought: "He makes them comfortable. He's safe. That's why they're so relaxed."
In that instant, she became a fan. That's all it took.
So yeah. Got fans here.
We're looking forward to more about this green-eyed Texan!

BONUS: Glen also is rather hilarious on Twitter! Check this out!

Hilariously, he decided to run with it!

Ruben Dias - Lost in Sardinia Part 7/8
Tumblr media
Summary - Ruben is on a getaway in Sardinia. There he meets a girl named Fiorella. She starts to wonder why Ruben won't tell her what exactly he is getting away from, or even what his real name is.
Enjoy!
There was a cluster of rocks overlooking the white beaches of west coast Sardinia. It's where Fiorella took Ruben. A peaceful place to watch the sun go down to the sound of ocean waves.
"The pressure was getting to me. I was aware that the team was bringing in new players for the upcoming season, players that could replace me if I didn't perform well."
Ruben told her everything. Everything that Chiara had mentioned and more, like the reason he punched his coach.
"And that made you want to punch your coach in the face?" She asked.
"No, I never intended to do that. That was just a result of all the pressure I put myself under. It's normal in football to buy and sell players. But I play for arguably the best football team in the world, with arguably the best football players. If I were to get replaced by another player it would essentially mean that I'm not good enough to..."
"Play with the best?"
"So you get it?"
"Why you punched your coach?" Fiorella snorted. "No, no I don't get it. But feel free to tell me what led up to the event."
"I was just so fucking tired." He sighed.
"Tired of what?"
"Mostly from working overtime. I'm always the first one to arrive at the teams training grounds and the last one to leave. I never give less than 110% during games and I've always remained on a strict diet to stay healthy and fit. I've missed so many family occasion because of training, birthday's, anniversaries, holidays, you name it. Worst part is that I've ruined so many relationships with people I love." Ruben chuckled. "Just ask my ex girlfriends who've ended up hating everything about me,  from the way I brush my teeth to the way I comb my hair."
"So you have many compulsive habits?" Fiorella interrupted, forcing Ruben to stop talking about the many women he had been with before her.
"Yes." He nodded. "I guess you can't say that I have a few compulsive habits. Good habits, but compulsive."
Fiorella nodded, taking it all in. "And the reason for punching your coach?"
Ruben was avoiding the altercation, however, Fiorella wasn't gonna let him. From now on Ruben would have to be completely honest with her even if it hurt. That's what Fiorella's mother once told her was the foundation of love, honesty.
"Right, that." Ruben ran a lazy hand through his hair. He was smiling softly, as if the memory wasn't all too painful.
"Pep, is the name of my coach. For somone who knows football they'll know about Pep and the peculiar way he likes to coach his teams. Don't get me wrong, he's definitely one of the best coaches out there, however he can be very blunt and harsh with his critic."
"What did he say?" Fiorella gasped.
"Nothing I've never been called before, the difference this time is that I was so mentally exhausted that I couldn't see past the critic he was giving, resulting in me loosing my cool and....well....you know."
Fiorella nodded, releasing the big chunk of air that compressed her torso. She still had so may questions, one question in particular, however, Ruben beat her to it.
"Why did you bring me here?" He asked, his eyes shimmering with the distant sunlight.
"Oh, I..." Fiorella crumbled with embarrassment. She had never wanted to bring someone to The Kissing Rocks until now. When she was younger her friends would tease her for running home after school. Fiorella would rather run down to the docks for a swim or play on the farm with her dog, than spend an evening shoving her tounge down somebody's throat. The thought of kissing had never amused her, more so disgusted her. That is, until she met Ruben.
"Can I ask you something first?" She said, feeling like he owed her that.
"Of course."
"Why come to Sardinia of all places?"
It was a question that had been itching her scalp. His decision to come to the island, her island, had certainetly changed the course of Fiorella's life and so she curiously wanted to know what drew him here.
"Well, although it's a tourist attraction there's not so many people here, especially during late summer. I needed privacy, a place to think and stay out of the spotlight, Sardinia was the perfect place to get that. Besides, I used to come here with my family during summer vacations when I was younger."
"Really?"
He nodded. "Every summer for the first twelve years of my life."
Fiorella couldn't fathom the idea. If Ruben had spent his childhood summer's in Sardinia the two of them must have crossed roads before. Perhaps when Fiorella was a young girl, roaming the streets with the puppy she received from Nonno for Christmas.
"My family used to rent an apartment on the island, it was actually at the complex that I'm staying at now..."
"Wait, so you're telling me that you don't live in your boat by the docks?"
Ruben eyes widened in suprise. "Why would you think that?"
"I mean...it's where I first met you, where you always told me to meet you. A person could comfortably live in your boat which is practically a smal yacht."
Ruben chuckled.
It was nice to hear him chuckle.
"No i don't live on a boat, but an apartment. It's where my friend Bernardo is waiting for me. His parents are lawyers and has been helping me with my case against my club. If things go well I'll be able to return at the end of the summer, just ahead of the start of the new season."
"Right." Fiorella nodded. Return....We should probably return you to your friend then." Fiorella would be returning to the flower shop where a fuming Nonna would be waiting for her.
"I remember this place."
Fiorella had risen to her feet, wiping dirt of her shorts when Ruben spoke. He was looking up at her, his head tilted back.
"You do?"
"Yeah, a girl brought me here once. She was also Sardinian."
"Was she?" Fiorella felt a slight beat appear in her chest.
"Yes. She called this place the Kissing Rocks. I don't know why, but she told me that we couldn't leave until I'd kissed her."
"Huh, funny." Fiorella muttered.
"Fiorella?"
"Yes Ruben?"
"Can I kiss you?"
The soft light from the sun made the shape of his face look smooth. Fiorella stepped forward, placing a hand on his cheek. She bent down her head, stopping when their foreheads came together.
"How would you like to kiss me Ruben,  soft hard or a bit of both?"
He smiled. "Whichever way you like it."
Fiorella was brought back, eyebrows furrowed. "What does that mean?"
Ruben looked up at her, his expression serious. "It means whatever you say goes, okay? "
Fiorella nodded. "Okay."
Ruben's hands on her waist drew her back in, still, it was Fiorella who was running the show. She bent down to softly kiss his lips. They took their time exploring, finding new depths of thier kiss. Fiorella brought both of her hands to Ruben's face, letting his rough stubble tickle underneath the palm of her hands. Ruben released a deep groan from beneath his throat, indicating that whatever she was doing he liked it.
To any starnger passing by the kiss looked soft and sweet. But it was far from it. It was overwhelmingly passionate, a desire for one another that could not be transmitted into words. Fiorella wanted more and Ruben wanted more but somehow a silent agreement was made between the two, an agreement that from now on they would take things slow, real slow. All on Fiorella's terms.
********************************************
Leaving The Kissing Rocks behind Fiorella and Ruben returned into town. As they walked, their fingers intertwined, Fiorella felt a sense of happiness that she hadn't experienced in a long time.
"Look, there she is!"
They were approaching the town square when unexpectedly, Fiorella's heart sank as she spotted her entire family standing there, including her beloved Nonna.
Confusion washed over her as she saw the worried expressions etched on their faces. Seconds later, her mother rushed towards her, engulfing her in a tight hug. "Fiorella! We've been searching everywhere for you! We thought something terrible had happened!"
Fiorella's eyes widened in surprise, still trying to comprehend what was happening. She exchanged a bewildered look with Ruben, who squeezed her hand reassuringly. "I'm sorry, Mama. I lost track of time. I didn't think anyone would worry."
Nonna approached, a mix of relief and sternness in her eyes. "How could you just disappear without a word? We were so concerned, Fiorella. And who is this man?" She gave Ruben the evil eye, all of her family members did.
Ruben, sensing Fiorella's predicament, stepped forward introducing himself "Ciao. I'm Ruben Dias. I'm sorry for causing everyone to worry. It's my fault we lost track of time."
Nonna studied Ruben intently, her eyes softening. "Well, young man, you had us all half out of our wits. But since you seem to bring a smile to my granddaughter's face, I suppose we can overlook this slip-up. Just don't let it happen again."
Fiorella's family, their initial worry transforming into a mixture of curiosity and amusement, surrounded her and Ruben. They bombarded them with questions about who Ruben was, how they had met, and what their plans for the future were.
"She's not married you know."
"Nonna."
"Her sister is getting married though,  the day after tomorrow."
"You should come...Fiorella wants you to come."
"Chiara." Fiorella frowned. They were embarrassing her.
"Ruben Dias...aren't you that football player that punched Pep Guardiola in the face?"
"Dad please." Fiorella said, clenching her teeth. Ruben only smiled, answering each question thrown at him with genuine warmth and sincerity.
Fiorella felt a sense of relief wash over her. Despite the unexpected circumstance, her family had embraced Ruben as part of their lives with open arms. The initial panic had quickly turned into a joyous reunion.
"...no really, it would be an honor to have you at my wedding." Chiara was clearly fangirling over Ruben, however her fiance didn't seem to mind, the opposite really. To have Ruben, a professional footballer, come to their wedding would simply be the coolest thing.
"And bring Bernardo!" Enzo shouted. As he and the rest of Fiorella's family returned ro their respective car's.
"I'm sorry about them." Fiorella sighed.
"You have alot of people that care about you, that's good."
"I guess, sometimes I wish they didn't care so much."
"Don't." He said. "Your amazing Fiorella, if anyone gets the honor having you in their life I understand why they would be so afraid of losing you, I am too."
"Ruben." She lost for words. Nothing needed to be said though, the way Ruben bent down and kissed her siad it all.
"I have some things to take care of tomorrow." He pulled back from their kiss. "But if you'll have me I'd love to accompany you to the wedding of your sister."
Fiorella shook her head, trying to hold in the tears. What a day, she was so overwhelmed with love.
"Is that a yes or...?"
"Of course you idiot. Yes, I'd love for you to be my date for my sisters wedding."
He grinned. "It's a date then."
Ruben bent down and stole another kiss. He spoke against her lips. "Buonasera Fiorella Costa."
She smiled. "Buonasera Ruben Dias."

Toji’s AR Dungeon Part 7-8
After the prison break, we see Moritaka in tears when he sees MC (who has injuries all over their body from being hunted down by the World Reps). Moritaka says MC is very important to him. Shino ask where was he during that time. It seems that Moritaka was shown a previous loop memory from someone with a pillar sacred artifact. Moritaka says from now on, all of the Hakkenshi will lose sight of their roles. Shino gives Moritaka a pep talk, There is only one reason why you are who you are. Because only you can choose what you do. There is no one in this world who can stop you from walking, except you. Anyway, they still don’t know the whereabouts of the final Hakkenshi. Yoritomo gives everyone an explanation about Masashi, his brain is on par with this artificial genius clone children. You could call him a child prodigy who knows world memory. With the addition of the prodigy, Hakkenshi will be complete. The app will considered it to have all the attributes and will be able to win and break the game in a meta sense. Suddenly, Fuxi shows up to strike. Everyone strikes at him but due to his fortune-telling ability he dodged all of their attacks. Fuxi reveals Yoritomo’s true name to everyone, with that all he has to do is wait until the World Reps take each other out. Nobumichi can’t fight Fuxi due to his powers being a bad match-up against Fuxi’s. Suddenly, Masashi appears. Fuxi can’t see a future where he wins against the eight trigrams (attacks from all directions) so he retreats for now. Shino orders the Hakkenshi to go after him but Masashi says it fine to let him go. And he then throws a “Mom loves me more than you” line at him while being all smug about it. Outside, Fuxi is thinking of another strategy when Temujin shows up to attack him. After that loop memory, Tadatomo ask who is that Masashi, his face is similar to Moritaka’s and Shino’s but his attitude is nothing like theirs.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back in the loop memory, Toji ask Yoritomo to explain himself and why he was hiding his identity. Yoritomo says he wasn’t doing it to deceive them but he did it to not raise doubt (sure, Jan). In the end their goal is still the same, to end the Game. Yoritomo said that as he stroked the spot on the back of his forehead where the horn had once been broken. The pain of deciding to live as a human being in the world of humans and abandoning the proof and name of a demon is far, far away. In contrast, he distanced himself from his younger brother, who was kidnapped by Oniichi when he was young and lived as a something other than a human being. Toji says he if finds out that it’s another lie, he’ll kill him. Yoritomo wants to say something back but he kept his mouth shut for now. Toji then ask Masashi if he was watching them the whole time. Masashi says the reason he didn’t show up until now was he wanted to be the final perfect Hakkenshi to appear. Temujin also appeared but is injured though, it seems that Masashi started a rumor about a cure all medicine to lure Temujin here. The condition was that he would eliminate Fuxi (so is Fuxi dead?). Masashi says he’ll give him the medicine but it is only effective for ``good people,'' as his mother would approve. In other words, it won’t work unless you are a person who possesses all eight virtues. Masashi starts talking about Xanadu. Xanadu is a cross-species hybrid world whose family includes all species. However, it is said that the hero (Temujin), a descendant of the blue wolf and the white doe, had someone he could not have as a family member. His name is Jamuka, a pure-blooded human. He was banished by someone he even called an ally. That is an act that goes against the eight virtues...but don't worry. This time, Temujin just needs to help our allies to the end. Masashi says no matter what Temujin did in the past, what matters now is what he will do from now on. Masashi gives out his plan for what’s next. This plan involves using MC as bait. After that loop memory, Tadatomo is upset that Masashi will use MC as bait.

Hellooo! Could you write a fic wherein MC/Reader is actually a childhood friend of Kasumi and Sen's, and like, she used to have a huge crush on Kasumi growing up, but he never noticed, and it's only now that he starts to have feelings for her... BUT, she doesn't like him anymore - instead, she's hopelessly in love with Sen, and Sen also likes her, but they haven't confessed yet... and like, she basically asks Kasumi for a pep talk, and he's kind and giving her tips, but, inwardly, he's in so much pain... and during this talk, MC reveals that she used to have a huge crush on him before, and now he's so shocked, and he plans on saying what he feels the next day, but then, in the morning, Kasumi sees that MC and Sen are already together? Sorry if it's too long
"Have you ever had a crush on someone?" (MC x Sentaro Kyogoku, former MC x Toshiki Kasumi) (Scenario)
Author's note: Thank you for sending me this. I see that my readers like to make Kasumi and Sentaro adversaries in love. I have changed the end, but I hope you'll enjoy it nonetheless. Also, while writing it, I got an idea. What if Kasumi or Sentaro fell in love with Sentaro's dead brother's girlfriend? That would be even angstier.
Summary: Being childhood friends gives you some perks that others don't have, like knowing a person a little bit better than others do. However, when both Sentaro and MC come to Kasumi to ask for romantic advice from him about each other, he knows that those perks aren't enough.
Word counting: 1176
"I have no freaking idea why I even like her," Sentaro entered his childhood friend's office. His fingers ran through his hair in a failed attempt to improve the blood circulation to his brain. But it was too late. He was a fool in love with another fool.
Kasumi didn't even look at the pediatrician. The youngest doctor was sure it was because he didn't want to get involved in his subordinates' messy personal lives. It was pathetic to see someone who finished at the top of his class in every educational institutions he had attended losing more than half of his neurons for months. Even more annoying was that none of the idiots had enough courage to confess.
"Why do you even like her?" Kasumi finally repeated, trying to impersonate a psychologist.
Hearing those words from another person's lips gave them a different. They weren't bitter and tasteless anymore. They were hard to chew but needful, like the drugs he gave his little patients.
"I don't know. Nothing. No, everything. I can't choose. She hugged me after the lab confirmed that one of my patients had Tay-Sachs disease. It reminded me of our childhood when she hugged us after getting scolded or injured. Have you seen how often she smiles? It's contagious due to how goofy and funny it is. I want to do everything possible to protect those rosy and round cheeks that make me want to pinch them when she looks so happy at me. I hate her! No! I hate that I'm so head over heels for her." Finally, Sentaro took the place in front of Kasumi, and his voice started to fade.
"Then, you don't deserve her," were all the words that left the cardiologist's lips. The pediatrician looked at his boss in disbelief. Was it the first time he got dissed by him? "If you love her only because you don't feel miserable with her, all you'll do is hurt MC. If you hate the possibility of being together, then let her go for both of you."
Kasumi felt guilty for doing this, hoping Sentaro would cancel his first date with MC that they set just for fun a few years ago. It was the type of date teens and young adults call "If we don't get married till 30", but with inside adaptation. And here they were, two idiots making so big of a fuss about a date with their crush, no - their love. As if it wasn't all they dreamed about for at least months.
"What do you love about her?" Kasumi continued, trying his best to contain his anger.
For a while, Sentaro looked silently at him, making him want to slap the younger man. He didn't want anyone to play with his childhood friends' feelings, including Sentaro playing with MCs. However, before Kasumi could say anything, a storm of words began:
"Do you know how I understood I fell in love with her? When she started singing, it made me smile. She is awful at singing, nothing better than twenty years ago. But I knew I couldn't smile because I was ready to listen to her for ages. Yet, I smiled because the desire to see her smile was bigger. I have known her for so long, and I can't imagine my life without her. While I am ready to give her my heart if needed, I want more for our hearts to beat in the closest proximity for the longest time possible. In the last months, I prayed to all the gods I don't believe in to stop her from finding a boyfriend so that we could fulfill our promises and go on our planned date. However, at the same time, I knew that seeing her smile was more important than smiling myself. I know her favorite color, drink, place, and song. If I try hard enough, I can even remember her favorite dinosaur. And she knows mine, too. I want to know everything about her, so I can become her favorite person."
Sentaro probably could talk even more about MC, yet a knock on the door stopped him. It was the person in question, so he felt like disappearing, and the closest he could do in reality was to leave the office as fast as possible.
"Are you here to ask for advice about what to do on the date with Sen?" Kasumi said after he heard the door closing behind his previous visitor.
MC took a place in the chair occupied by her crush moments ago. A fast "No" left her lips. Yet, after rotating a few times in the chair, her answer had changed.
"What if he doesn't see me as a girlfriend?"
"Then his only option is to see you as a wife."
A hearty laugh left MC's lips. It echoed into Kasumi's eyes, disturbing the rhythm of his heart.
"I want to have your confidence. Imagine being sure that the person you like loves you back. Have you ever had a crush on someone?" MC asked after stopping rotating in her chair.
Favorite color - pink, because I can't take my eyes off your cheeks when you are embarrassed. Favorite drink - dark tea with honey, because that's the color of your eyes. Favorite place - probably your arms, but I won't ever be able to confirm. Favorite song - your voice singing lullabies after a long surgery when you don't know I'm still awake. Favorite person - you.
"Only once. But I got rejected before confessing my feelings," Kasumi said while putting his chin on his palms and looking longingly at MC.
A gasp left the girl's lips. "How dared they? I can't imagine anyone rejecting you. Even I used to have a huge crush on you for years. Can you imagine? YEEAAAAAAAAAAARS!" Kasumi's favorite sound was MC's childish and nearly obnoxious sound. Yet, this time, it stuck in his head as a song he couldn't get out, mocking him every time it was repeated. After she calmed down, MC added: "I'm sorry that you had to go through something like this. But you are strong for still being optimistic after an experience like that. Thank you for existing. You're making my life worth living."
The cardiologist could hear MC's laugh even after she left his office. He stayed there longer than needed, afraid that he would run after the person who rejected him before he even had the chance to confess, and he wouldn't be able to contain himself from trying his last chance. Kasumi couldn't do this to Sentaro. He couldn't hurt him once again. So, only after hours did he get enough self-control to meet the outer world.
After changing in the locker room, something caught Kasumi's eyes - an unopened pack of cigarettes in the trash. There was only one person in their entire team who was smoking, the one who was now enjoying his first date with the love of his life.
"Maybe feeling miserable is one of the reasons people start smoking."

✨ with beeg rise raph, either headcanons or a oneshot, whichever u prefer!
Ofc! Rise raph is such a big sweet boy, he needs more love!
Someone to lean on
Tcest DNI
Of all the things that could have gone wrong today, raph did not think it would have gone this badly. That was for sure. It was a seemingly normal mission they had gone on. Nothing out of the ordinary! Well, except this particular opponent had a knack for changing the size of things. Animals, objects, people.. Thats how raph ended up in this situation. They went in blind, and got cocky. Raph's caution regarding his size at a mere six feet was blatantly obvious, and it was that weakness that caused them to loose this fight.
Raph, now about twice his normal size, had to use the subway tunnels just to get back home. He was too big to get in through anywhere but the garage. He felt claustrophobic to say the least. Before it was tough being a foot taller and much bulkier than his brothers. Now it was upsetting. He doesnt fit through the doors, he cant go relax and goof off with his brothers, he cant even go take a nap! He takes up a good portion of the common room so his brothers cant goof around either..
He was sitting with his legs hugged up to his body, his head resting on his knees. He would hide in his shell but he was scared that if he wasnt careful he would break something coming back out. Like accidentally punching a wall whenhe sticks his arms back out. He kept trying to think but any time he came up with a possible way to sit this out or make it more managable, his dumb brain shot it down with an irrational contradiction! But.. he couldnt help it. He had hurt his brothers by mistake just being 6 feet tall. Now it was way worse!
He was distracted from his anxious sulking when he spotted his younger brother approaching. Leo. Probably here to make jokes. Leo seemed to have noticed his brother had spotted him, qnd waved up at him. "Hey, big guy! Mind giving me a lift?" Leo asked. Raph immedeatley hesitated, his head ducking into his shell a little because he was upset. What if-
"Raph. I have a portal sword. I'll be fine!" Leo reminded, practically already knowing what his big brother was doing. Leo had seen him do it a million times. Raph was a little caught off guard by the call out. He hesitated before reaching down to floor level so he could climb on. This was fine. He cant accidentally crush him.
Leo sighed. Well, thats progress. He got onto his brother's hand, and sat criss-crossed in his palm as he was lifted. He looked up at his big brother as he was brought to his eye level. "See? You didnt drop me." He said. Raph looked to the side nervously. He felt bad for worrying his little brothers. Leo reached out, resting his hand on his brother's face to comfort him. "Hey, we're gonna fix this! Its not as bad as you're making it out to be. Its inconvenient, sure, but its not that big a deal. Besides! You're super strong, you can beat up bad guys all the time." He said, trying to pep talk his brother.
"Yeah, thats the problem Leo. Im huge, and super strong. I know my own strength when im like a third of my current size! What am i gonna do if someone gets hurt.." he said, looking very upset and concerned. He was careful not to jostle his little brother.
Leo listened and smiled at his brother. "Dont think like that, raph? If you worried any more, and werent bald, you'd have grey hairs by now." He joked. "No one is gonna get hurt. We're gonna sort this out bo problem. Me, april, donnie, and mikey are gonna help you. We're gonna get through this." He said, leaning forward to rest his head against the bridge of his brother's snout. Thats as close as they can get to a hug.
Raph listened to his brother's dumb pep talk. He sighed. He couldnt help but feel a little pride. When had his little brother gotten so good at these goofy speeches? He chuckled softly, finally cracking a snaggle toothed grin as his brother rested his head against his. "..thanks, Leo." He said.
Thats all for this oneshot! Feel free to drop an ask!

😎 I think that it’s time for some Sergeant Beef thoughts because I have been giving all the love towards the Darkest Knight universe and that just isn’t fair . The SB AU and all within need love too.
Remember that touching heart to heart that Nat has with Yelena because she didn’t want her baby sister to make the same mistakes that Nat herself nearly made and the mistake that Esther Hudson of the SB universe did make( plus all the other parallels that Sergeant Natasha Romanoff and WWI Nurse Esther Hudson shared, especially with their own respective loves ….. both being named YN . One known as the Original “ Wolverine” and the other being known as Sergeant Beef) , that being never telling the person you love that you do love them and losing that chance to EVER make that move ( Esther took that love for the OG Wolvie to her Grave, Nat nearly losing that chance as her beef ALMOST DIED ) ? ……….. Well that touching moment was IMMEDIATELY FOLLOWED UP with “ Don’t be a pussy and just tell her already!!!!! Jesus Christ I have DEALT with you pinning over her SINCE YOU WERE KIDS , I really thought you would have figure your shit out by now , BUT NOOOO you haven’t!!!!!!! Are you a Devil Dog or are you just a Pathetic Little Puppy?!?!!?!!!!
Because Serenity , Feelings and Honest Communication isn’t either of Eastern European Siblings’ strong suits . But they but both really do care about each other, they are just more …… aggressive about it 👀👀👀. Yelena jumps up and says “ Yeah !!!!! I am a GODDAMN MARINE , I am the PROUD and the FEW !!!! I can do this , I can tell the girl I have been in love with since we were kids I love her and ask her out !!!!!!!”
Then cut to Yelena at SB’s door asking them how to ask someone out and communicate feelings. Because ….Yelena COMPLETELY BICTHED OUT , she was standing in front of Kate and Yelena( she broke into Kate’s apartment…. It was that one scene in Hawkeye where Yelena made Macaroni and cheese talking about all the locations about NEW YORK) panics while trying to get her feelings out and ask Kate Bishop out ( this is were she was talking about locations around where Kate is living) then just dips out ( I would love to say out the window like she did in Hawkeye but she isn’t a black widow, she is a normal Marine and I don’t think she would just have a grabbing line/ hook ). SB smiling at her helps her plan out what she wants to say( they help her write down on a sheet of paper everything she wants to say to Kate so Yelena has a little “ cheat sheet” ) pick out some flowers for Kate ( purple ones of course that is Kate’s favorite color) and a nice little pep talk before (maybe a shot or two of Vodka ) sending Yelena back out to the battlefield of asking Kate Bishop out …… Kate said yes by the way and the Yelena went to both SB and their sister ( the In Law was also dragged into helping) for help planning and getting ready, Nat was there too but was completely useless because a she didn’t do dating before SB and as stated before she isn’t great with feelings.
A bit of background information on SB’s version of Kit Morris ( I haven’t received any name suggestions yet so for the purposes of this post we’ll just call her KM for now) , like I said before she was three years younger than SB and SB was the one that promised to marry her one day and she would roll her eyes at that and say “when you tower over me in height and strong as a Ox” this was a direct reference to the well known story of Jane Howlett and Kit Morris whom was OG’s Wolverine’s Grandparents or at least grand something ( KM thought SB was joking or making a reference to that story so she replied with the correct response in that story but SB really did have a on KM and innocently wanted to marry her as a child) . The story / book that Jane and Kit would use to play and took up the name of characters while playing/ doing make believe as kids and then the OG Wolverine later got her name from ( and consequently SB got their’s from as they were named after the OG Wolverine) is still in circulation and a popular children book / stories ( think Narina or Peter Pan in terms of popularity and enduring the test of time ) to the present day and SB and KM would do the same things as Jane and Kit. They would take up the names of the characters ( SB was always YN as that was just their actual name but KM was Laster the same as Kit Morris was ) . KM and the beef siblings were close like I mentioned before and they lived in the same neighborhood ( literally KM lived RIGHT NEXT DOOR to the beef siblings, it was the door to the right of them) until SB was 16 and KM was 13 years old when KM and her family moved away ( the same age that another pair were separated in a another universe) .
The last few thoughts of this post . It’s on Little! Nat of the SB au ( though I would want to talk about Little Nat is the DK universe at some point because vulture tease it or made references to that time of DK’s life) . First of all of course she had the ICONIC blue hair ( she probably did it herself or with the help the neighborhood kids or dyed it with them ) when she was in Ohio and 11 . But I wondered if Nat had a little childhood crush or a friend she was particularly close to.
I saw a clip of the Peter Pan live action movie ( the one starring Ever Anderson - the girl who played Ohio 1995 Nat - and she SMACKED Peter ( I don’t know why or the context of her just bicth slapping someone, maybe he said something) and one of the comments stated that her Natasha Romanoff JUMPED OUT and that got me thinking. Little Blue hair ! Nat 1000 percent BICTH SLAPED someone , most likely a boy the same age or maybe a bit older but the reason is he was being a dick to either herself, her baby sister Yelena ( or Kate …. her other baby sister) , a friend or someone who couldn’t really defend themselves.
Trying to keep up as fast as I can, but you're just too quick for me anon 😭
I do miss writing for the Sergeant Beef universe, maybe I'll get inspiration/motivation to write for them soon.
LOL NOT YOU DOING POOR YELENA LIKE THAT. But I think it's very realistic lol. I love that she doesn't even go to Nat anymore for help, she goes straight to SB.
I have established SB's version of Kit to be named "Luna" per my last answer so we will continue forward with this unless you have rejections to it.
My headcanon is that younger Nat in the DK universe was a lot more outgoing and adventurous than she is in our present timeline. I think because the Red Room took that freedom and independency away from her, she really regressed into her shell and it'll take a lot of time for her to come back out of it (but given how comfortable she is around Wolvie, I could see it happening in no time).

When they’re running together like this, Jamie often has similar thoughts - what sort of teammates they would have made if not for Rupert Mannion whispering into Jamie’s ear about how Roy was a shite player, old, useless, not worth the money he spent on his contract. Jamie remembered playing against Roy during the end of his Chelsea days (not a lot, but more than enough that Jamie vividly remembered facing Roy Kent on the pitch at Etihad, the fear, worship, awe in Jamie’s eyes the whole time), but playing against someone was not the same thing as playing with them. Just look at Dani and Van Damme. Jamie hadn’t been able to watch the whole Mexico-Canada match, but he’d looked up the highlights when he’d had the time. Dani and Van Damme were brothers in the dressing room and in Richmond kits, but, as opponents, Dani played like he hated him. Jamie wished he’d had the opportunity to play alongside Roy without Rupert being involved. He likes to think they would’ve been a legendary set of teammates. He could hear the commentators now - Kent with a textbook pass to Tartt, Tartt is off, Tartt with the shot, and he scores! Goal for Jamie Tartt, assisted by captain Roy Kent, an absolutely brilliant play, and the Dogtrack crowd loves to see it! It would have been a dream for Jamie. Shame he'd ruined his dream for himself before it could even begin.
“I wouldn’t call it a wicked memory, just… good with remembering when I’m payin’ attention.” That’s part of the reason he’d been terrible in school — Jamie never cared enough, never paid enough attention, to actually learn. His future was football, full stop, even at the posh private school the academy sent him to. But it’s also the reason he could fully explain how to properly play total football to the team — he remembered Pep talking about the playbook to the team every time Jamie had the opportunity to train with Man City and dress for City matches. “Sky High,” Jamie immediately named the film - it had been one of his favourites when he was younger. “Villain in that is fit.” He glanced over at Roy again, giving him a grin. “Yeah. That sounds like fun, Coach,” he happily agreed, affection in his eyes. “Good thing is, now that you’ve rode a bike once, every bike is gonna feel the same way. I won’t have’ta reteach you how to ride.” His tone was teasing, but in a fond way, not the derogatory way it would have been even three years prior. "Unless y'want me to - I know the feeling of my hands on somebody's waist is, like, addictive. Wouldn't blame ya for askin' for it back."
It felt good to feel the grass under his boots. Even if he'd never quite get to play the way he used to, there would always be a part of Roy that missed playing so much. Coaching had filled that hole in a way he'd never had thought it would. Annoyingly, Lasso had a great deal to do with that. It helped Roy get some purpose back in his life. Even though he still felt like he was missing something inside him. Kent glanced over at Jamie as the younger man spoke. He wondered what they would have played like together had they started getting along like this back when they were teammates. If that had even been possible back then. Roy nodded along with the movement of their jogging when Jamie hinted around the happenings of Amsterdam. Honestly the whole thing had made Roy want to sock Jamie's father even more than when they'd had their ordeal in the locker room after the Man City game.
"You don't have to apologize," he huffed, slowing down just a bit when they came to the next corner of the field to make the turn. "So you got some wicked memory? That's pretty fucking cool actually," Roy responded, sounding half impressed. "That's a strength. Readin' and listenin' that makes us sound like the lamest Superheroes. I watched this movie with Phoebe, yeah, 'about some school for kids of superheroes and such yeah? They got tested and like split off into the hero rank or the sidekick rank. We'd be too lame to even be sidekicks," he rambled on before pausing and getting back on track a bit. "Oh by the way. One of my Yoga Moms' son was sellin' his bike. Real good price so I might have snagged it. -- It's just sitting in my house. Haven't tried it out yet. Thought maybe you'd like to --" Roy gestured with his hand as if that filled in the rest of the invitation to spend time together. "Sometime, or -- not -- if you don't. It's whatever."

You were laughing with your friends in the Indiana summer heat, just a free and easy day, cool beer bottles in hand with your legs stretched over the grass. The large group of you chatted away, the younger members sipping on coca cola, though you may or may not have let El try a sip of your beer (she did not approve).
From where you sat you could see Murray, Hopper and Joyce talking away beside the barbecue - Murray was sporting his favourite apron whilst the two men decided they’d be in charge of the grilling, spatulas in hand.
Your eyes zeroed in on them, the conversation you were a part of becoming a mindless background noise as you observed. The way Hopper was gradually inching closer to Joyce - your Joyce. Sure, it was a secret tryst, just sneaking around having sex behind everyone’s back but it’s not as if you could tell anyone.
You couldn’t just go to one of your best friends and say, ‘hey Jonathan, by the way, I’m fucking your mom’. That would not go down well.
It took a conscious effort to stop the scowl crawling over your face at the way he touched her arm, leaving his gross hands on her - only you could touch her like that. You channelled your annoyance into the scraping of your nails on the glass bottle in your grasp, peeling away at the sticker that had dampened with condensation. You flicked specks of paper onto the grassy floor as you saw his hand squeeze her shoulder and she laughed at something he said.
You’re the one who makes her laugh, the beautiful sound was etched into your mind, not him.
“What about you, Y/N/N? Any action in your life?” Nancy asked with a nudge of her elbow into your side, snapping your eyes back to the expectant ones of the group.
“Oh, uh, no. Not right now.” You smiled with a bashful shake of your head.
“Yeah right.” Robin scoffed. The others looked at you as though they also didn’t believe you whilst you just raised your eyebrows in shock.
“What do you mean ‘yeah right’?” You mocked. “I’m not seeing anyone.”
“Oh please.” Max sighed with a teasing roll of her eyes. “We can all see this weird pep in your step the last few months - you’re obviously getting fucked - even El can see it.” She added, earning a nod in approval from Eleven.
“Max!” You laughed, taken aback by her matter of fact words but it was clear nobody believed you. Your skin was hot under their stares, it didn’t help that the topic had brought the thought of Joyce’s face buried between your thighs to the forefront of your mind, the way her fingers-
“You’re totally getting laid.” Argyle muttered with a dopey smile. “I bet that’s what you’re thinking about right now.”
“Just tell us who it is.” Will urged, god they were all ganging up on you. Lucas, Dustin, Steve, Jonathan and Mike were even watching in anticipation.
“No.”
“Aha! So there is someone.” Robin exclaimed, the others laughed when you lay on your back with a groan. After a couple more minutes of teasing they finally let up, moving on to teasing Dustin - more specifically the ‘Dustybun phenomenon’.
You were mindlessly watching the clouds floating across above you until you heard a loud, boisterous laugh - you rolled your eyes at the sound. You turned your head to the side to see Hopper sidled up beside Joyce, watching her intently as she spoke, leaning up the wall nodding at her words. You were close enough to see his eyes darting down to her lips every now and then as his hands stole touches here and there.
No matter how ugly the sight, you couldn’t help but smile at her voice - explaining the plot of a movie she’d watched recently with great excitement, her hands gesturing wildly. You’d watched it together and it made your heart swell how much she’d enjoyed it, you’d listened to her go on and on about it afterwards. It was impossible for her voice to tire you.
“That sounds great, maybe we should watch it together some time.” He spoke. This had your eyes that had since fluttered closed against the sunlight to snap open, hoping you could somehow absorb some of El’s powers to burn a literal hole in the side of his head as you stared.
“Oh. Um, maybe.” She answered with a polite grin and she didn’t pull away when Hopper’s hand set up camp on her arm - again.
You clenched your jaw at the sight, hands balling into fists at your side as you sat up. Despite the anger it was causing to pulse through you, you couldn’t look away. It was when your eyebrows furrowed that Joyce’s eyes locked with yours, a tiny smile accompanying it, an attempt at reassurance though it didn’t quell anything. Especially when he continued to flirt with her.
“I’m gonna get another drink.” You announced, not waiting for a response before you made your way over.
“Hey, kid.” He greeted and you plastered on the fakest and most sickly sweet smile you could muster.
“Hey, it smells good.” You answered. “Ms Byers, you don’t think you could help me out with something do you? I don’t want to interrupt anything, of course.” You smiled but she wasn’t buying that fake, polite innocent bullshit for even a second.
“Anything I could help with?” Hopper asked, of course he had to interfere - could he not just get the hint?
“Oh, well, it’s girl stuff.” You returned shyly, biting back a laugh at the way red flew into his cheeks and he stuttered out a weak answer.
“Gosh, Hop. Menstruation isn’t so taboo nowadays, you should really educate yourself.” You heard Murray begin as you stepped inside the house, making a beeline for the bathroom with Joyce in tow.
She shut the bathroom door behind her, turning to face your aggravated self - she’d be lying if she said the sight of you jealous didn’t do something to her. She’d not seen it before but it was definitely a good experience so far; the way your jaw squeezed tightly shut and your eyes had darkened.
“What’s up, babe?”
“What’s up?” You scoffed. “That fucker out there is what’s up. He can’t keep his hands off you.”
“Oh? I guess I didn’t notice.” She lied, looking at you with those doe eyes she sports so well. You huffed a laugh at her words. “If I didn’t know better, I’d think somebody was jealous.” She approached you with a teasing poke to your chest. You rolled your eyes and guided her to the counter until she was pressed against it, your rested your hands on it either side of her so she was trapped in and your face was mere centimetres from hers.
“Only I’m allowed to touch you like he was. You’re mine right?” You spoke, an air of nervousness and uncertainty in your question.
“Of course I am.” And she knew you were hers.
“Then fucking kiss me.”
She didn’t waste a single second before her lips crashed to yours, her hands pulled you into her by your hips while yours cupped her face. The kisses were desperate and she let you take the upper hand this time with the way you pushed your tongue past her lips, the taste of your beer in her mouth.
You pulled away with a tug to her bottom lip before lifting her up onto the bathroom counter. She yelped at the sudden action, a movement with the kind of force you’d never exhibited before, the kind of force she’d usually use on you. Though she wasn’t mad at this new side she was seeing.
“You’re mine.” You whispered against the skin of her neck, lips brushing against her causing the goosebumps to rise over her body. Joyce’s arms looped around you as you kissed beneath her ear, your teeth grazing at her lobe and your hands gripping onto her bare thighs where she sat in her denim shorts. She’d chosen her outfit this morning with you in mind, legs exposed and chest hugged by her fitted t-shirt.
You kissed across her jaw until your lips slotted with hers again and your hands dragged upwards over her waist. She groaned into your mouth when you palmed at her breast through her shirt, arching her body into your touch. You pulled at the hem of her shirt, pulling it over her head when she moved away from you to do so.
You kissed her exposed chest with a bite to her collarbone, sucking the skin until a decent mark was left behind - a mark to show she’s yours. It looked so pretty against her smooth flesh, just beside your favourite freckle on her body - you’d memorised them all.
You smirked at the way she sighed heavily when you slid your hand beneath her bra, giving her nipple a squeeze between your forefinger and thumb, pulling at the hardened bud, squeezing the pillowy breast in your hand.
She almost protested when you pulled away but soon changed her mind at the feeling of your fingers stroking down her torso to the waistband of her shorts.
“Come on, baby. Show me who I belong to.” She whispered, almost teasing you and the more dominant role you’d slipped into for the first time - she made a mental note to make you jealous more often.
You did just that with a frustrated huff, roughly yanking the button of her shorts open and pushing your hand down. She was so wet already and you smirked at the feeling of her slick coating your fingertips as you teasingly slid them through her folds.
It wasn’t the most comfortable position for your hand to be trapped in but the way she groaned at your fingers pushing into her made it worth it. You claimed her lips with yours, thrusting into her needy pussy with a perfect curl of your digits, one that made her choke a moan into your mouth, fingers digging into your upper arm where she held on.
A lewd sound filled the room with the way your fingers pulled out of her and pumped back in at a pace that had her reeling. When your thumb began to rub over her clit she had to pull back from the kiss trying to catch her breath, gasping out at the feeling.
“Fuck, Y/N.” She sighed, attempting to quieten the moans that threatened to make themselves be heard across the neighbourhood by burying her face in your neck. She sloppily kissed at the skin, nails digging into the back of your neck where she grabbed on aimlessly.
“Cum on my fingers, baby. Show me how good I am.”
It didn’t take much more for her perfect groan of pleasure to sound beside your ear and her dripping walls to clench around your fingers as she came. It hadn’t quite satisfied you yet, you needed to show her what she’d be missing out on with him. Felt the need to prove just how much better you are than any man could ever be at making her feel blissfully fucked.
You nudged her backwards from where she was still catching her breath with her chin resting on your shoulder, pulling your drenched fingers out of her and staring into her eyes as you sucked them clean. Humming at the taste as you pushed them into your mouth, making a show of you tasting her, cleaning up the beautiful mess she had made.
She watched with parted lips as you pulled at her shorts, lifting up to let you pull them from her body along with her underwear, letting them pool to the floor beneath her. You eyed her glistenening slit with a hungry gaze, licking your lips in anticipation, dropping to your knees before her.
You wrapped your arms around her thighs, pulling her to the edge of the counter - hygiene be damned - and pressed a kiss to her still sensitive clit. Your tongue slid through her tentatively, her sweet juices covering your tongue and you lapped them up desperately.
When you sucked at her clit her hand clamped onto your hair as she fought back a moan; you peered up through your eyelashes to see her, locking eyes with her when she peeked down at you. You saw how her face heated up, a pink blush creeping over her chest when you kept your gaze fixed on hers while you licked through her folds, teasingly flicking your tongue over where she needed it most.
She dug her heels into your back, pulling you into her frustratedly when you just made her grow even more desperate for you. You squeezed at the flesh of her thighs before harshly sucking at her bud, watching as her head fell backwards and her hand clamped over her open mouth to muffle the loud moan at the back of her throat.
Her chest rose and fell in quick succession as your tongue expertly flicked over her clit, eating her pussy like your life depended on it; her hips bucked slightly as her hands pulled at your scalp, grinding herself onto your tongue in an urgent need for a release. The pull at your hair made you groan against her, vibrating onto her heavenly.
It barely took anything more for her to cum into your mouth, legs shakily wrapping around you whilst a poorly quietened moan ripped from her throat into the air around you. “Fuck.” She breathed as you lazily licked her through her orgasm, dragging it out and helping her ride it through.
You pulled away from her with your lips and chin covered in her arousal, darting your tongue out to clean yourself up. Joyce yanked you into a heated kiss, tasting herself in her blissed state.
When you pulled away for air you bent down to pull her underwear and shorts back up her legs before muttering to her.
“Next time Hopper is fucking you with his eyes, remember how I fucked you in his bathroom. Remember how your legs were shaking and you moaned my name - nobody could ever make you feel the way I do.”
She gulped at your words, stunned at the peck you planted on her lips before smiling and tossing her shirt to her. You were right, of course, nobody could make her feel the way you do.
You turned and left the room with a smirk tugging at your lips whilst she tried to make herself look a little less freshly fucked. She stepped outside where you were talking to Hopper.
“Yeah we got stuck chatting - you’re taking your time with this food though so at least we haven’t missed anything.”
He laughed at what he thought was a jest but Joyce smirked knowing it was as much of a dig at him you could come up with.
“Oh - Ms Byers - sorry again for talking for so long. You know what I’m like, my mouth has a mind of its own. My mother always said it’d get me in trouble one day.”
She choked on the mouthful of beer she was attempting to swallow, smiling lightly at the discreet wink you threw her before sauntering across the grass to the rest of the group.

can i request isabela x a selfless reader who never puts themselves first??
selfless
summary: headcanons of isabela madrigal having a gf who bases their happiness on other people's happiness, disregarding their own selves in the process
warnings: lowercase intended, word vomit, FFFLLLUUUFFF, teeny tiny bit of angst, dw you could barely even notice it even if you tried, maybe
a/n: thank you for requesting this, anon <3 i may have changed it a bit just to give more spice, if that's okay with you :') also bear with me if there are any grammatical errors, it's literally 5:57 am rn LMFAO okay enjoy!

she absolutely adores you
seeing how you would always choose to help other people never fails to bring a smile onto her face, like:
when you insist on helping her family members with their daily chores;
when you agree to help the townspeople with what they need in any way you can;
when you give isabela top priority when she needs help with something;
and etc.
but sometimes, it worried her
you would more often than not drop whatever you were doing, even if it was important to you, just so you could go and help whoever needed your assistance
you would disregard your wellbeing just for the sake of helping someone else, stubbornly insisting that you were fine
you would be obsessing over someone else's problems rather than your own
having a younger sister who used to base her self-worth on whether or not she could be of use to abuela/the town, this wasn't something she was foreign with
would be confronting you one day about this:
telling you she's noticed how you would often put yourself down just to help others;
asking you if you had anything you wanted to talk about; and
reassuring you that she was there for you if you needed to talk to her
however, with a head as hard as yours, you would be insisting that you were fine
you didn't want to burden isabela with your emotions
you were taught to put your feelings aside, and it didn't matter if you felt like absolute shit
as long as everyone else was happy and content, nothing else mattered
you stubbornly kept your thoughts to yourself, but lucky for you, isabela would just be as stubborn as you were
she wouldn't leave you alone and would continue to provoke you until you finally said what has been on your mind ever since you could remember
would feel heartbroken afterwards
you were a mix of 'wanting to make people happy' and 'my feelings do not/should not matter', and she could see her past self in you
would be trying to empathize with you without sounding like she was switching the topic onto herself, like:
telling you how much she related to you;
talking about how she realized that one must live for themselves; and
talking about her character development and how she no longer tries to pressure herself into satisfying everyone and hiding her true self
would then afterwards give you endless amounts of reassurance that you were valid and that your feelings do, in fact, matter
would make it both you and her mission to help you try and regain your love for yourself
would be making you repeat pep talks after her:
"i... love myself... i am valid... and my... feelings... matter... just as much... as everyone else's does."
"i... am not... obligated... to try... and solve... other people's problems... and their happiness... is not... my responsibility."
would be proud of you for taking the first steps (would be giving kisses mwa mwa)
would suggest that you both take the day off for the next day, just relaxing
of course, it would take you quite some time to get used to her words
habits such as yours don't just disappear overnight
so it would be over the months where you would grow to love yourself more, and made sure that you were your number 1 priority
*sees isabela*
well, number 2
anyways, it's not that you were gonna stop lending a hand to the community, but rather you were gonna start putting yourself first before everything else
someone asking for you to lend a hand in the bakery but you weren't feeling that great? sorry, maybe next time! :)
someone asking you to change their kid's diaper because camilo was nowhere to be found but you had somewhere urgent to be in? sorry, you weren't available atm! :)
it would also be over the months where you'd realize just how important it was to care for yourself
it's okay to put your needs first, and you shouldn't feel guilty for doing so
you are not selfish for loving yourself
and it would be all thanks to isabela madrigal who had helped you realize that

"I want a picture with a baseball bat, hoes don't like when I talk like that please, don't bark, 'cause Milli bite back."
♡ character: jason grace
♡ pronouns used: she / her
♡ note: not checked for grammar or spelling mistakes / a bit of an au! but i digress, here's some jason food
Tumblr media
you looked to reyna, your eyes blinking rapidly as she had mentioned that your ex boyfriend, yes, ex boyfriend was making a stop to camp jupiter from the east coast. you hadn't seen him since he moved over camps and a part of you was not ready to see him again. you left on a semi-sour note and she knew that.
"oh come on, it's been two years and you still can't confront him? kind of sad isn't it? i know it's because you still love him," she replied. you gave her an unenthusiastic look but continued to kick the rock that was near you, "shut up, i have kids to train and if you better not try to get me to talk to him,"
you gave her one final look and walked away to grab your armor. being the child of mars really benefitted you in combat or training scenarios but it was almost always your downfall. more often than not, it was not in your benefit unless you were on the front lines of a war or a quest. because of this, reyna had made you head trainer to train any new romans that arrived at camp jupiter.
reyna tended to joke that because of your hot-headedness and anger like attitude, you represented more of the greek god ares which usually earned her a hard smack on the head by you.
"come on kids, you won't get any better by just standing there," you told the few seven and eight year olds. reyna smiled as you grabbed all the kids and gave them small pep talks to encourage them to do their best. it was like a flip of a switch. whenever you had to work with those younger than you but necessarily kids, you had this soft side that she wished you had with the older kids. the way you trained with those a few years younger had her sympathizing with the way they walked to their cohorts.
you started to train with the kids, helping them with their posture and defense attacks. you had been told several times that you couldn't start training them in actual forceful combat until they reached age eleven. they knew the downfall of not having them fully prepared for war but in a case where a major war with a god came down, you'd have to use yourself as a shield until they were safe.
"listen, you have to block someone's sword like this," you said summoning a sword quickly. you grabbed the nearest camper, the unfortunate luck going to a son of bacchus. he went on the defense but you quickly attacked him, landing a near blown to his chest, "you see how he wasn't prepared? that could happen to any of you if you aren't quick with your reflexes."
reyna who was now joined by jason, piper, and percy all saw the way you were showing off your abilities with ease. given that you were training a bunch of children, you knew for perfect examples you had to use someone your age. you had kept the son of bacchus as an example and jason could tell you weren't trying your hardest given that the poor boy was not strong enough to be a great example.
it was around the thirty minute mark when you decided that you should give the kids a break. you were talking to the boy, chattering almost smugly about how he could improve. jason chuckled, even after years of not seeing you, you were still that same cocky daughter of mars.
"you can talk like this when you're really that bitch and guess what? i am," you told him, ruffling his hair to get angry. you succeeded in that he charged you with full force, "see! that's what i'm talking about, where was that ten minutes ago?" you asked now kneeling on the ground.
he rolled his eyes, walking away as you dusted yourself off. you soon noticed who you were in front off and lifted your eyebrow, "i'll be in bunk if you need me," you told reyna as she shook her head no, quickly grabbing your wrist, "as second in command practically, you should welcome back old and new members."
your eyes widened, quietly screaming that you would have her head if she made you be around jason anymore than you needed to be, "i think i'm okay, two of the three know their way around, don't they?"
after avoiding jason's stare, you stared at him, your eyes immediately wanting to water from the memories that flooded you as soon as you locked eyes with him. you turned to percy, giving him a head nod before walking away.
if reyna wanted to berate you for not listening to her, you'd take her million lectures rather than sitting with your ex boyfriend and his now ex girlfriend. not that you cared for rumors on their relationship but you heard from a bird in the sky that jason and piper were now broken up and had been for months. you didn't want to get your hopes up but you weren't upset that he was newly single.
"they came to see you, maybe you should stay," reyna screamed. you waved her off not caring for their reasoning to stay before entering the diner for a snack. reyna shook her head in disbelief, "still as unhinged as she was when you left," reyna murmured to jason as they all sat down on a bench.
what reyna had said earlier wasn't a unnecessary lie. the three had traveled to see if you'd join them back at camp half-blood. being the daughter of mars and similar to ares, they needed someone as strong as you to help their cabin. clarisse was planning to move to new rome for a better education and jason had brought up the idea to move you over to the east to be head leader of their cabin.
and although the conversation was a touchy one to him, jason knew it would benefit camp half-blood to have you there. he always admired your fight to be the best, your wisdom towards the younger kids, and the way you fought like hell on quests.
it was part of the reason why he fell for you the way he did. you were gorgeous, no doubt, but the way your carried yourself as if you thought of that you were the best made him fall in love and quick. that was why the breakup that preceded him leaving for new york was so sour and why he was the first to suggest to bring you over to long island.
+
percy gave his friend a weirded out look as he brought up your name. he had heard of you from jason various times before but he never met you.
"she's the daughter of mars. second in command to reyna and is one hell of a fighter. she could really help us here," jason explained to mr.d and chiron, "she had been my savior several times on the field before and her demigod abilities match that of clarisse if not better," he added on.
piper heard the way jason was speaking about you and smiled. jason had mentioned you in passing to her when something that reminded him of you was brought up. she wasn't jealous or overly protective but she could see the sliver of love still in his eyes whenever he brought you up. being the daughter of aphrodite really had its downfalls when she could sense that jason still mourned the end of his previous relationship.
"what do you think of that percy?" chiron asked. percy shrugged, "if she's as good as jason is making her seem, i don't see why she wouldn't fit in," he replied. piper agreed, not wanting to reply to the question out of trying to avoid awkwardness with jason.
mr.d clapped his hands as chiron looked at the three, "great. go get her from camp jupiter," chiron said before dismissing the three. jason clapped happily as percy walked away to find annabeth meanwhile piper stayed by the side of jason, hearing his coherent mumbles about you.
jason soon stared at piper, quieting down a bit, "excited?" she asked. jason didn't respond, not knowing how to take that now his two ex girlfriends were going to be at the same camp full time, "a bit, she'll be a great addition to camp half-blood-," he replied as piper cut him off.
piper shook her head no, shutting him down mid sentence.
"you still love her, i can tell. you don't have to lie about it jason. she sounds like a great girl. if she makes you happy then i'm happy," piper said as she wrapped her arm around him, "she was a huge part of your life back in new rome and if she's destined by the gods to be the one you marry, so be it."
jason was stunned in silence. he knew piper was not the overly jealous type. it was unusual given all her half-siblings were very quick to get consumed by jealousy and rage over their partners but he knew piper was being truthful. he could sense that she meant no ill-will about you coming to camp half-blood.
"thanks piper, she really was a great girl. you'd get along great."
"well, what are you waiting for? we need to be at camp jupiter in a few days so prepare for it."
+
piper now saw you in all your glory. you were as gorgeous as she imagined. you were talking to a few of your siblings very animatedly. your hands were raised in the air as you were trying to make a point but she could tell you were getting a bit agitated at the subject. the confidence you exuded was truthful to what jason had told them earlier.
"i don't know how we'll convince her if she won't even speak to me let alone look at me, jason muttered defeatedly. percy stared at him in shock, "no way are you giving up this quickly. you traveled across the country to not even try? embarrassing."
jason stared at percy to get him to shut up but he continued, "she's a great fit for camp half-blood and if you want a second chance, no way you'll get it by giving up like that," he stated. reyna stared at jason in surprise, a smile appearing on her face in an instant.
"you want a second chance? holy shit, this is the best thing that could happen to her because she still has feelings for you!" she muttered the last part. jason whipped his head back to look at reyna for what she confessed, "she what now?" he asked.
reyna smiled at him sheepishly.
"she might have insinuated the reason why she won't talk to you is because she still might like you. she perked up hearing that you were coming over today but she shot her feelings down almost immediately when she thought that you didn't like her in that way anymore."
piper shook him in excitement, "see! now go in there, ask her to come back to camp half-blood and get your girlfriend back you big idiot!" she stated. jason knew that he didn't have long to convince to you come back with him and if he had to do it, it would have to be tonight.
+
the night was coming to an end and you were now sitting on the fields of mars in silence. it gave you a sense of peace and comfort when you were surrounded by the things that attached you to your dad.
"sitting here when you're sad? not much as changed, has it?" you heard jason ask. you immediately grabbed a sword, pointing it at him, "not a step closer grace," you stated as you shook the sword weakly. jason smacked the sword onto the ground, you making no effort to argue or pick it back up.
"still mad at me?" you didn't respond once again as he sat in front of you, pushing up his glasses, "i know you're still upset at how we ended and how i left but i came here to ask you something. we want you at camp half-blood."
your eyes widened, not expecting to hear that, "you came here as recruitment? you're sick jason. i guess you really are the bastard son of jupiter after all. the first time we meet and it's for that?" you replied, getting up to leave, "hey, listen! i wasn't done talking!" he said standing in front of you.
jason sighed.
"it wasn't necessarily just that," he exclaimed, "a part of me wanted to see you too. a near four year relationship is hard to get over," he whispered. you laughed in disbelief, "you've dated after we broke up. don't think i didn't hear about you and piper."
"i heard of you and octavian so it's equal," had you rolled your eyes any harder, they would have rolled into another dimension, "it was a few weeks and it meant nothing. we went back to being friends not even a month later. you were in that relationship for what? six month to nearly a year and a half? don't mark me up as stupid, jason. word gets around rather quickly in new rome."
jason growled. one thing he didn't miss about all of this was your stubbornness and the way you would argue for hours until you proved yourself right.
"and it ended. she wanted me to see you the most. they all want you over at camp half-blood and you know that what i feel personally about you is exactly how you feel about me. don't forget that in the four years we were together i learned how to read you like a book."
stupid jason and demigod abilities made rain come over camp jupiter as your dress was now starting to weigh down on you. your casual attire was similar to reyna's purple dress but you made yours silver to make it a difference.
you stared at the sky, tears coming over your eyes as you cursed at venus for making you cry over this dumb relationship. jason knew he was breaking down that wall you built up because of him.
"you're an idiot, jason. you leave me to go to some dumb camp in the east coast, get into a relationship for almost two years, and expect me to follow you back that quick? you're insane!"
jason knew that he had you where he wanted you. you were debating the idea of going back to new york and most importantly, back to him. you were refusing to look at him so he wouldn't see you crying. it was a quirk he noticed you had when the two of you would have arguments. it made you look weak as the daughter of mars but to him, you were the strongest girl he had ever met and he made sure to tell you that all the time.
"darling, look at me," he stated firmly. you were quick with the response as you finally looked at him again, your eyes were bloodshot red and your hair was sticking to your face as the rain poured down, "you're making it rain and in the state of california no less. i think that should make you realize that what we had prior to me leaving was a challenge from the gods to see if we could overcome hurdles in a relationship."
"bullshit jason," you screamed as he brought you in for a hug. you didn't want to return it, you really didn't, but his warm embrace made it hard not too. you shoved your head in his neck, still crying as he patted your wet hair, "it's not and you know it. i'm not saying we have to jump into a relationship right away but what we had is still there," he whispered.
you stared at him, your chest still rising quickly but jason soon placed his lips on yours, bringing you in for that long awaited kiss. you returned it just as fast and the two of you remained that way for a while. the fields of mars happened to be where you had your first kiss with jason as kids and it couldn't have been a coincidence that you were having your first kiss with him after two years separated from each other in the same place.
"what do you say? come to the east coast. i think you'd love the snow," he asked. you laughed a bit, "i'll have to think about it overnight but if you guys really need me, i don't see the issue in moving temporarily."
jason shook his head no.
"temporarily? no baby, you're staying by my side permanently," your face warmed up at jason's statement as he wrapped his arm around your shoulder, "the praetor dress looks amazing on you. you should bring it to camp half-blood," he said.
farther into the camp, piper and reyna slapped hands with each other in success.
reyna hated to see you leave but as head of camp jupiter, she knew you were destined for more than what california had to offer. the two of you were meant to be by each others side forever and even in the after life.

So because at the end of the bttf telltale game, marty is surprised to find out that trixie is his grandmother, I'm assuming that he has never met her/didn't know that she was a musician.
What do you think would have changed if, in the lone pine time line she had been around and helped raise marty? Do you think the pinheads would have been more succsesful? Do you think that because Marty had someone encouraging from early on, he wouldn’t have build up a friendship with doc?
Hello, anon! You sent me this weeks ago; I apologize for not getting to it sooner. Also, I got your other ask that clarifies you meant "Twin Pines".
My memory of the Telltale game is super rusty, and I remember very little of the Trixie/Sylvia plotline. I do remember Marty being surprised that Trixie IS Sylvia, though! I assumed maybe he just hadn't seen any photos of his grandmother when she was that young? Or yeah, her being a singer became a big family secret that she hid for some reason.
I know that the novelization of the movie mentions her at one point when Marty is contemplating going into George's house. He decides against it because he's evidently very close with Grandma Sylvia and fears their connection is strong enough that even in 1955, she would somehow "sense" who he is, and it would scare her.
Of course, the movie itself makes no mention of her either way, but the idea of Twin Pines Marty having his grandmother be such a facet in his life is an intriguing one. So let's visit that world, shall we?
Grandma Sylvia helping to raise Marty in the original timeline. Hmm. That's especially interesting when considering how she would handle the influence of her son and her husband (who we know, in the world of the novel/movie is exactly like George). If she's anything like the Sylvia we met in the video game, she'd definitely intervene/try to mitigate George's tendency to be discouraging and give lousy advice. She'd be the one overhearing a father/son conversation and then pulling Marty aside and being like, "Don't listen to your dad. You go for that audition, Marty."
If she remained as musically inclined in her older age as she was in her younger one, I could see the Pinheads having more success, or at least that Marty wouldn't stay bummed out over a failure for as long. He'd run to her with his tales of woe, receive an immediate pep talk, and get that boost he needed to try again.
I'd like to say that his closeness with his grandmother wouldn't impact his friendship with Doc all that much. Sylvia would likely fill more of that nurturing, motherly role Marty would need, and be his source of encouragement music-wise, but he'd still need that male role model and just generally want a buddy he could hang out with. Because when it came down to it, spending time with your grandma--no matter how much you love her--can't compete in the same way as the local scientist who lets you assist in crazy science experiments and is always down for a nutritious dinner of burgers and fries. Marty would still be just as close to Doc.
In fact, I could see Marty feeling free to talk about Doc with his grandmother without fear of judgement or disapproval. I always imagined Twin Pines George and Lorraine as being less than thrilled about their son's friendship with the purported "dangerous" scientist and headcanon that Marty doesn't mention Doc a lot or even hides the fact that he's spending so much time with him. I think Sylvia would be more understanding, though. Not feed into the town rumors about Doc. Marty would probably even take her over to meet him, and she'd be happy that her grandson had found such a wonderful mentor and was getting to learn so much about science.
Now I'm sort of invested in this concept and kind of what to write a fic about it or something. Young Twin Pines Marty running away from home and fleeing to the safety of Grandma Sylvia--one of the only people who understands him. It'd especially be interesting to explore how Grandma Sylvia feels about Lorraine's drinking and the influence it has on her grandkids.
🤔
Thanks for the ask!

You were still giggling like school girls when Wanda looked down beside your legs, right at your open phone.
“Y/N, did you call someone?”
“What? No, of course no-” you cut yourself as your eyes followed hers. To the screen where you had a nearly four minute phone call - no, not phone call - voicemail to Bucky. And for the past four minutes you had talked about nothing but how unfairly attractive you found him.
Fuck.
--
You woke up the next morning with a pounding in your head and a boulder of regret sitting on your chest.
Despite Nat’s own degree in computer science, she could do nothing to help you delete the message you had unknowingly left; you would just have to deal with the consequences.
“Maybe he’ll be flattered,” Wanda had offered, ever the optimist. “This could be the start of something!”
All you could do was roll your eyes. Yeah, right. As if this literal Adonis of a man would be flattered by a girl probably 10 years younger than him talking about how she wanted to jump his bones.
To make matters worse, he had answered your text this morning - telling you a time and a place to meet him for coffee. That’s it. No mention of your voicemail or anything to make you think he had seen or heard it at all. Maybe he hadn’t yet, and he would cancel as soon as he did, or maybe he was just going to wait until he saw you in person to bring it up. God, that would be the worst option of all.
And now you had several days to stew about it - four, to be exact.
How about 1pm on Tuesday? Temptations Cafe.
Temptations Cafe. If that wasn’t ironic you didn’t know what was.
So you had four days to just… think.
Think about what he would say, if anything. If he had told Beth, and she would never let you live it down. If this would affect the way he felt about your writing, or maybe he wouldn’t read your book at all. You had really fucked up.
--
Wanda and Nat, being the amazing best friends and roommates they were, kept you slightly wine drunk all weekend in order to keep your mind off of Bucky. Then on Monday, they had dragged you to every bookstore in a 30 block radius for the same reason.
But Tuesday came far too quickly. And a half hour before you were meant to meet Bucky, you were standing in front of your bedroom mirror giving yourself the world’s worst pep talk.
C’mon, Y/N. Maybe he won’t even bring it up. This thought was supposed to be helpful. Oh god. If he doesn’t bring it up that probably means he doesn’t want to embarrass me because he would obviously never look at me that way and -
You finally had to snap yourself out of it.
Giving yourself one last look over - the business casual you had chosen more modest than anything you had worn in years, considering the circumstances - and made your way towards the front door.
Nat and Wanda, who were both leaning against the kitchen counter talking, came over to each give you a peck on the cheek and some words of encouragement before you grabbed your purse and coat and headed out the door.
The few blocks in the chilly autumn air were nice for clearing your mind. Or at least trying to clear your mind. Eventually all thoughts would wander back to James Barnes and his insanely beautiful blue eyes. This lunch was going to be a trip.
Standing outside Temptations, you took a deep breath before pulling the door open. A glance around the small space told you that Bucky wasn’t here yet, so you ordered yourself a warm chai before making a space for yourself at one of the mismatched sofas in the corner.
You had expected to wait, given that you had shown up 15 minutes early, so you settled in the cushions, mug in one hand and book in the other.
But then 1:00 turned to 1:15 which turned to 1:30 - still with no sign of Bucky. At this point your groupchat with the girls was filled with worried texts and your slow descent into insanity while they tried to talk you off the ledge. You picked up your half empty, now cold mug in preparation to leave, when Bucky came crashing into the quiet space, breath heavy and cheeks flushed.
His eyes darted wildly around the cafe, and softened when they finally landed on you. You tried not to let the fact that tears had begun welling in the corner of your eyes show, but you didn’t have a chance to worry because he swept you into a warm embrace.
The feeling in his body heat combined with the cold tip of his nose pressed against the side of your head had you shivering in more ways than one. So caught up in the feel of him, you missed half of what he was saying to you.
“ - and yeah. Anyways, I’m really sorry I’m late. Let me get you a fresh drink to make it up to you. Go sit down and I’ll be back in just a minute.” He placed a hand on the small of your back to guide you back towards the couch before turning and making his way towards the counter.
He came back with two steaming mugs, handing you with a bit of a sheepish smile. You inhale the earthy and slightly bitter smell before giving him a pointed look.
“Kava tea?”
“I’m sorry I just - well. Beth told me you had a thing for tea and I felt so bad on the cab ride over here and was looking at different types and -” He cut himself off to get his thoughts back on track. “Kava tea is supposed to help stress and anxiety and I was just thinking about how bad I would feel if I was in your position, so I hoped it might help. If it’s stupid or you hate it I can get you something else. I’m probably an idiot, I’m so sorry.”
The grin spread across your face in time with the heat throughout the rest of your body. This big, beautiful, brooding man researched tea. For you. Your heart may very well beat straight out of your chest.
“That’s very sweet of you, Bucky, I really appreciate it.” You hid your smile at his exhale of relief behind a sip of the herbal tea, afraid you might say something even more embarrassing than you had a few nights prior.
His tension quickly faded as he sipped from his own mug - black coffee, he had informed you - and nodded towards your worn book that was now lying on the table.
“And Then There Were None. Interesting choice, I must say,” his amused tone caused you to let out a light giggle, and you felt the need to drown yourself in your own mug as you listened to it leave your body.
Quickly trying to recover, you explained to him that it’s always been a favorite of yours.
“I usually reread it, or one of her other works, around this time every year. With Halloween coming up and all, it just feels fitting. This is the same copy I’ve had since my freshman year of high school, if you can’t tell just from looking it at.”
That seemed to intrigue him further, as he snagged it off the table and flipped through the pages. Years of wear were evident in the markings of what were obviously several different pens leaving notes, dog-eared pages, and the spine so cracked it laid flat on its back. But it’s yours - and something you hold very near and dear. Your sister had given it to you just before she took a road trip with her friends for fall break her senior year - the trip she never made it home from. The first pen marks came from hers, and her note to you on the title page still brought tears to your eyes.
And seeing Bucky holding it, turning through the pages and skimming notes with gentle hands, you weren’t sure you could place the emotion that brought to the surface just yet.
Not wanting to let your emotions overcome you, you held your hand out for him to give back to you before safely tucking it back into your purse.
Almost as if he could sense your whirlwind of thoughts, he moved just a tad closer on the couch, knee knocking against yours as he turned to fully face you.
“So, your book.” He started, and your breath hitched, almost forgetting the point of meeting him in the first place. It’s obvious he heard you, and he placed a comforting hand on top of your own resting in your lap. “It’s amazing, truly. I’m nearly done and would love to meet with you again once I’m fully finished. You have something special, Y/N, I’m telling you.”
His soft words made you feel like he may be talking about more than just your writing, but you pushed the thought away just as quickly as it formed. It was like this man had some kind of spell on you.
The next several hours were spent talking about anything and everything - literature, school, your life here in Boston.
It felt less like a business meeting and more like a date - a friend date, of course. Lunch with a friend. That’s all.
But your heart just wouldn’t shut the fuck up. Instead, it skipped a beat when he his gaze help yours for a second too long, and it went fully fucking insane every time his hand grazed your leg or your arm. You could feel the heat in his touch even through the layers, and you were sure you were at your melting point.
The sun was low in the sky when you finally stepped out onto the sidewalk - after a slight cough from the single barista made you both look up and realize all the chairs were stacked away and it was twenty minutes past closing time. The golden hour rays dancing across Bucky’s skin made him look otherworldly, and it took a lot of willpower you didn’t know you had left not to cup his face in your hands and just stare.
You were so caught up in his beauty that you missed him asking you a question - asking if he could walk you home.
So as the sun dipped lower below the horizon, Bucky walked you the few blocks home, stepping closer into you when the harsh wind caused you to shiver.
The entire walk you don’t dare turn to face him, fearful of what your face may give away, but when you stop in front of your apartment building you’re left with no choice. Trying your best to wipe every ounce of adoration from your face, you turned your head towards him - and right into his lips.
The kiss was everything you never knew you needed - hot and sweet and full of a brand new emotion. Your hands immediately intertwined themselves in his thick chestnut hair, while his own splayed across the plane of your back, pulling you close.
You broke away only because you had to, foreheads still pressed together with heavy breaths mingling, white puffs in the small space of air between you. He smelled like sandalwood and coffee and Bucky and you might as well have been drunk on it. It felt like you were floating and it just might be everything you’ve ever wanted and -
“That shouldn’t have happened, I’m so sorry,” he whispered against your lips. He had the audacity to break your heart on this cold downtown sidewalk and was still half an inch away from you, still leaning into you like you’re all he’s ever wanted.
Finally registering his words, you pushed away from him so hard he stumbled a little, grief stricken face a mirror image of what you knew yours must look like. He looked like he wanted to say more - and maybe if you were thinking clearly you would have heard him out. Instead, you pulled your jacket tighter around your body, on a one way path through the front gate and up the steps without a glance back.
The front entrance offered a warm contrast to the chill on your face and in your heart. Wanda and Nat both stood just past the main hallway, peeking from the kitchen. It’s obvious they had been spying, but you could tell by the concerned looks on their faces at the tears now freely flowing that they had stopped watching after he kissed you - that they had missed the very next moment where he crushed your school girl crush like a leaf fallen across his path.
Stripping off your coat, you threw it in the general direction of the rack and bolted for your room, not in any mood to answer their questions and face their sympathetic looks. All you wanted was to cry it out, and then tip toe into the kitchen well after they had gone to bed for a warm cup of tea.
When was the last time you had cried like this - like it was the end of the world? You couldn’t remember for the life of you, though you had a sneaking thought in the back of your head that it had been since you got the call about your sister.
This isn’t the end of the world, you had to remind yourself, this isn’t anything like Kathleen.
No, you absolutely could not compare this rejection to the death of your sister, yet you felt that same hollowness in your chest as you had all those years ago.
Your plan for the night was ruined when you heard the creak of your door and the distinct dip in your bed that came with the intrusion of your two best friends. But sometimes you forgot that they knew you better than you knew yourself. They wouldn’t make you talk about it, and they wouldn’t give their opinions - not yet anyways. For the moment, they each took a place at your side, crowding you under the covers and sandwiching you between their small bodies to let you cry it out.
Crumpled on the floor, your purse buzzed slightly from the stream of text messages coming through. You couldn’t hear it all the way from your bedroom, so you let yourself cry it out in your bed, unaware of the desperation weaved through your text thread with Bucky.
I’m so sorry, doll
So goddamn sorry
Just let me explain myself
I swear I’ll make this up to you
--
The next morning you woke up still tangled between your roommates. When you began to shift, Natasha was immediately awake - ever the light sleeper - while Wanda continued to snore softly on your other side.
Both of you slid out of bed, and you told Nat about the previous day over two cups of honey and chamomile tea.
“I’m so sorry, Ангел. Men are stupid, we know this.” Nat had always called you angel, saying that you were a bit of a saving grace for her - she had been your sister’s best friend as well. The sentiment always warmed your heart, but this morning it hit you harder than it had in a long time.
“I know, I know. I’m over this stupid crush already. I don’t need a man, and I definitely don’t need a man who makes me cry.” Your watery laugh had her giving you a pointed look before stepping forward to tuck some hair behind your ear.
“You know, крошка, you can always join me and Wanda. We wouldn’t mind a third as long as it’s you.”
Her smirk and half-seriousness had you both bursting into full blown hysterics. You threw your head back and clutched your stomach and it was the best you had felt in the last 12 hours.
She knew that would distract you - it did every time she brought it up since that one drunken night between the three of you - and the laughter turned hushed giggles when you remembered Wanda was still sleeping two doors down, only to start all over again when she came stumbling in half asleep, asking what the hell you two are going on about.
This time, you were close enough to your purse to hear the incessant buzzing, and staggered over to see what was going on. The screen dimmed as you pulled it out, but your lock screen showed you Bucky’s messages as well as a couple of missed calls, the last from just moments before.
Sucking in a deep breath, you placed your phone on the kitchen island and headed for the bathroom - leaving Nat to fill her girlfriend in while you showered.
When you came back, the both of them were fuming in their own quiet way, and you were pretty sure you heard Nat utter the words dead and they’ll never find him.
“Hey!” You shouted as you made your way back into the kitchen. Both of their heads snapped in your direction, mixture of rage and guilt plain as day, and that just wouldn’t do. “Listen to me, we are over this, alright? I’ll text him back, be professional, and our relationship will be nothing but work. And if he can’t handle that, then he’s not the only publisher in New England.” Your tone left no room for argument, so they simply nodded, still a bit wide-eyed.
“Alright, glad we’re all on the same page. Now who wants mimosas?”

It was the night before your big day, to say your nervous is an understatement. Your marrying Tom Holland, after dating for 3 years. You love him so much but you're still nervous. Marriage is a big deal. So you had snuck off during the rehearsal dinner to just think and give yourself a pep talk.
"Hey, Tom where's y/n?" Chris asked his soon-to-be son-in-law.
"I don't know." Tom looked around, he thought you were with your cousins and Paddy but they're busy eating dessert.
"Hmm okay. If you see her let me know I want to give her something." He said.
No one spotted you by the end of the rehearsal dinner which worried your family, and Tom's family. Everyone went looking for you. Eventually your dad found you hiding in his house in your old bedroom sitting by in the corner on the other side of your bed, farthest from the door. Where he'd used to find you when you were younger and upset.
"What's wrong Bubba?" He asked you softly sitting next to you.
"I'm nervous." You said looking up at your dad with a frown.
"I thought you were excited to marry Tom?" Chris asked you.
"I am. I'm just- I don't- I'm scared." You admitting looking at you hands.
"You have cold feet." He decided, "this is normal you know babe."
"That's helpful." You said sarcastically. "Just what if my marriage with Tom turns out like yours and Mom's?"
"Hun your mother and me are nothing like you and Tom. We got married for the wrong reasons. You know this, we got married because we were 18, didn't know what we were doing and she was pregnant we didn't get married for love. You're getting married cause you love Tom right?" Chris told you looking you in the eye.
"Yeah I do love him." You nodded.
"Exactly, now it's almost 12 don't you want to see Tom one last time before the wedding?" Chris asked.
"Yeah where is he?"
"Right here, darling." Tom said walking into the bedroom.
"Did you hear all that?" You asked him pouted.
"No."
"Okay!" You stood fixing your dress. Before you hugged him. Your dad couldn't help but smile before for leaving to tell your family you've been found.
"I love you."
———
"You look beautiful." Nikki smiled at you.
"Thank you." You took a deep breath, despite the pep talk last night you were still nervous. You hadn't seen Tom since. You guys were going with the tradition of not seeing your spouse on the day of until the wedding but not so much as the superstition that is with it.
"You look like a princess!" Stella, your cousin said excitedly. "You need a tiara!"
"Aw thanks bubba." You smiled looking in the mirror.
"Knock knock." Your Grandma said walking into the room. "Dear your dad's waiting to see you." You took a deep breath. A first look between the bride and the father of the bride is a special moment. You were excited for this. He hasn't seen your dress. You had only brought your aunts, your nana, your maid of honor and Nikki when you went dress shopping.
"Okay." You carefully made your way to the area the first looks would be happening. He was turned the opposite way humming. You couldn't see it but he also held something he had a feeling you were gonna like. "Dad turn around." He did so and gasped, tears prickling at his eyes. His baby girl is all grown up.
"Your so beautiful." He hugged you. You gratefully accepted. The hug seemed to last for ever but eventually it ended. "Peanut. I meant to give you this last night but here you go." He handed you a necklace.
"This is mom's." You gasped. Your mom had passed away when you were 10. You didn't know how your dad got the necklace since your parents divorced when you were 2. "Thank you dad."
"Of course. So how are you feeling. Nervous?"
"Yeah. I'm really nervous. Dad what if he changes his mind? Or someone objects? Or or-"
"He's not gonna change his mind, and if anyone objects I'll slap them." He teased helping your put the necklace on. "Perfect. You know you look just like your mom. And Tom is lucky."
"What lucky you, uncle Seb, and uncle Mackie didn't beat him up after our first date?" You joked laughing slightly.
"That and, he got the most beautiful girl in the world to fall in love with him. I mean look at you. Your way out of his league." He joked trying to help your nerves. Which it did.
"Okay it's time for you to walk me down the aisle." You said nervously.
"Bubba don't be nervous. Okay? You look beautiful. He's not going to just leaving you at the alter." He chuckled, before referring those choice of words when he saw the look on your face.
"I didn't even think of that."
"Peanut. All will be fine. Let's go?" He asked.
"Okay." You nodded.
———
Here comes the bride plays as you and your dad begin down the aisle. Tom stared at you like you were a goddess. You looked so beautiful. He couldn't believe you were his. All eyes on were on you, but yours were on him.
"Who gives this woman to be married to this man?" The officiant asked. Chris smiled.
"I do." He said before hugging you then he turned to Tom, shaking his hand and hugging him. "Welcome to the family." He whispered before he found his seat next to his parents in the front aisle.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today in the presence of these witnesses, to join Tom Holland and Y/n Evans in matrimony, which is commended to be honorable among all men; and therefore is not by any to be entered into unadvisedly or lightly, but reverently, discreetly, advisedly and solemnly. Into this holy estate these two persons present now come to be joined. If any person can show just cause why they may not be joined together, let them speak now or forever hold their peace." The officiant began the ceremony. He went through his spiel until he got to the I dos.
"Tom, do you take Y/n to be your lawful wedded wife?"
"I do." He said looking you in the eye.
"Do you promise to love and cherish her, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto her, for so long as you both shall live?"
"I do." He said breaking eye contact to look at the officiant before looking back at you quickly.
"Y/n, do you take Tom to be your lawful wedded husband?" The officiant looked to you.
"I do." You nodded.
"Do you promise to love and cherish him, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, for better for worse, and forsaking all others, keep yourself only unto him, for so long as you both shall live?"
"I do." You took a deep breath keeping eye contact with Tom. You already knew your family was in tears, especially your dad.
"Do you together promise in the presence of your friends and family that you will at all times and in all circumstances, conduct yourselves toward one another as becomes husband and wife?" The officiant asked.
"We do." You two said simultaneously.
"Do you together promise you will love, cherish and respect one another throughout the years?"
"We do." The rings were passed to you two. Harrison handed Tom yours, while your best friend handed you Tom's.
"I Tom Holland give you Y/n Evans this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." He slipped it onto the ring finger.
"I Y/n Evans give you Tom Holland this ring as an eternal symbol of my love and commitment to you." You copied him slipping it over his hand as well. The officiant began reading a poem you and Tom had picked out a while ago. Then finally it was time.
"By the power vested in me by the State of Massachusetts, I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Tom didn't need to be told twice he stepped closer sharing a passionate kiss with the two of you. It lasted a minute before the two of you separated for air.
"I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Holland." And then the two of you went down the aisle hands linked being followed by the best man, maid of honor, and all of the groomsmen and bridesmaids.
———
Chris watched with tears in his eyes as the car drove off. His baby girl is all grown up. Oh, how he missed you being attached to his hip. You and Tom were off to your honeymoon, which was paid for by Chris, and your extended family.
Chris wiped his tears away following his family back inside to clean up a bit. He was excited to see you again in a few weeks. You may be married now but your still his baby.
