I’d be okay with it. Unfortunately, despite how it sounds time to time (I see you, Jensen), Jensen continues to perpetuate the stories of seemingly married and “together” as opposed to together for the legalese for the children’s sake and informally separated otherwise. Hollywood honestly doesn’t care; see how there seems to be not even a blink regarding Dane’s marriage and relationships (outside of what seems to be a failure to inform one of his partners about the other partner).

But it may be Jensen is too mired in a traditional way (and his father’s conservative views/beliefs) to be able to do so openly.

I’d rather he be happy, even if it isn’t what we consider “traditional”.

Apparently Eric Dane is married and has like two girlfriend's on the side.....

Correction: Eric Dane never divorced his wife, Rebecca Gayheart. Oh, he's referred to himself as single in interviews, etc, but they dragged their feet in the divorce proceedings long before his ALS diagnosis. I think they were okay just living separate lives.

Then the ALS diagnosis.

She has a longtime partner, he has... whatever romantic entanglements he has.

They're still legally married, just having an non-traditional marriage at this point.

It's Monday!

Yes. You can absolutely put me down as one who is concerned for Jensen's wellbeing. While I have been radio silent lately--my personal life has been extremely busy, thus why there's been minimal posts and why I've been behind on so many things--but that has never changed.

That will never change. Perhaps we differ in our stances, and that is okay. We can respect that. I know I respect different views regarding Jensen, which is why I can be mutual and speak with Jensen antis.

I am solidly a J2 fan. I adore both men equally. I stan for their success, personal happiness, and general wellbeing.

I rarely ever have to write about Jared because he is doing well! He radiates happiness and joy with Genevieve, his children, capable of negotiating deals to keep him close to home and never once makes comments in conventions that set off alarm bells.

Jensen, however, led to a deeper dive that converted me into an anti Danneel. Made me create the #Jensen Supportive tag. Revive the #Jensen Concern tag. Created an in-depth, researched post about Danneel. I know this is where a lot of us diverged regarding Jensen, and again, that is absolutely fine.

It doesn't change we're concerned about him.

He is working himself into the ground. He is exhausted. Anyone with eyes can see it.

It's rare for me to link something from Twitter that isn't related to convention stuff. Today... is one of those non-convention moments.

A mutual shared this with me and I facepalmed so hard, it hurt.

Here's the thing. Yes... people typically (not always) work 5 days a week. Even in Hollywood, usually. Except in Hollywood, it isn't your standard/usual 8 hour days. (Don't get me started on doctors and some shift workers--or firefighters.)

No, in Hollywood, it can be up to 14-16 hour days, depending on how many scenes they're in. This is why J2 were so envious of other actors who only had to work 2 - 3 days a week. I recall, I believe it was Jensen, who expressed envy over Matthew Fox saying he only had to work 2 - 3 days to film Lost! Because he and Jared were the primary stars, the primary characters, and had so few other secondary characters in the show, they filmed 16 hour days, 5 days a week! They were exhausted.

Take Countdown. Jensen's character, Mark Meachum, seems to be in a lot of the scenes, which means he was likely filming just as many hours, just as many days, for months on end--and this on top of conventions! Recall, if you will, Jensen saying quite a few conventions that he was exhausted, just filmed the night before, morning of.

To say that there are no issues.... just shows how ignorant some of these fans can be.

Hollywood is absolutely not the norm of work hours! When you can film several hours worth of scenes, have to do multiple takes, hours of rehearsals, choreography, and gods know what for a possible 2 hour movie... and then do the actual nitty gritty in a short period of time (for instance, I recall World War Z being filmed in 40 days. Imagine 16 hour days of scenes being done in that short period of time!).

For television series it's even moreso. I can't recall the name of the actor right now, but in the old television series, ER, one actor said that the reason why their characters look exhausted was because the actors were actually exhausted!

Yes, granted, the actors aren't always filming every second of every minute of those 16 hours. I recall a Behind The Scenes of Leonardo diCaprio napping in a chair during filming of The Man in the Iron Mask, for example. They grab sleep when they can. If they're not in a scene. Otherwise.... they're going to be exhausted, running on energy drinks, coffee, and determination. And crashing a lot on their days off.

So, yeah, Jensen probably is exhausted. He's been back-to-back-to-back filming with little breaks between them. This with conventions on top of them.

And we know why.

I’m sorry, I need to correct anon.

The lawsuit is still pending. There has been no compensation as of yet for Jensen, CMP, or WB to pay.

The trial has been set for January of 2026.

The news hasn’t picked up on it because there’s nothing to report. No judgment has been rendered.

We’ll see what happens then.

After the failure of the Winchesters series, the Ackles apparently suffered great losses. In addition, there were rumors that an accident happened to one of the workers on the field and he sued the Ackles and won monetary compensation. Which means that now, in addition to all the financial burdens, Jensen is also faced with paying off the lawsuit. Now he pays for his family and covers the losses from the launch of the Winchesters and pays the claim. This explains his obsession with work.

It wasn’t a rumor, someone almost died on Jensen’s set and definitely lost their livelihood and thus sued Jensen and Danneel. They deserve that lawsuit and I hope they will compensate the crew member accordingly. I am very sad the press outlets didn’t pick up the story. It’s a story that deserves to be heard.
