I don’t know how some of you could watch blu eyed samurai and still debate Mizu’s gender like hello ??? media literacy dead ??? Mizu is a woman, that’s the whole fucking point !!!! That’s her biggest crime !!!
Eiji couldn’t care less about her heritage but he literally cut her off when she tried to confess her gender !!!!
Mikio was fine with her being half white but the moment she dared to show him that -as a woman- she was a greater fighter it was over. His ego was irreparably hurt because a woman defeated him !!!!
And he calls her a monster !!!! He calls her a monster because she’s a woman and she’s strong she’s capable she can fight she isn’t submissive and that’s the point !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Animage October 2024 Issue Kamen Rider Gavv ft. Chinen Hidekazu & Sugihara Teruaki (translations below)
Publication: September 10, 2024
The Strange Sweets Kamen Rider
The 6th Reiwa Kamen Rider is the first ever to use a sweets motif! The cast and staff talk about the behind the scenes of the birth of the new hero who fascinates us with a gap between poppin visuals and its heavy filling!!
Having passed out due to hunger, Shouma, who comes from another world, was saved by a human boy named Hiroi Hajime. Shouma was in a difficult situation when he confronts the Granute, a monster who wants to kill Hajime, but when he "sets & eats" the familiar like creatures called Gochizo in the mouth on his stomach, he transforms into Kamen Rider Gavv and crushes the Granute. This was the beginning of Shouma's battle to protect humans.
The latest entry in the Kamen Rider series, "Kamen Rider Gavv" only just started in September. Despite the poppin imagery and visuals of sweets as its motif, this is a hard and serious drama that depicts the lonely battle of a young man named Shouma, who hides a grand past and mystery behind him.
This production features Takebe Naomi-san as the Producer, Sugihara-san as the pilot Director who determines the direction of the work, Komura Junko-san as Screenwriter, and Fujita Satoshi-san as Action Director, all of whom have worked on the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series. In particular, Sugihara-san and Komura-san are the pair that gained attention for their work in "Kaitou Sentai Lupinranger VS Keisatsu Sentai Patranger" and the fans are expressing their expectations.
The story of a fierce battle between the sweets Kamen Rider and the Granute monsters has only just begun, so don't miss a moment of the birth of a new Kamen Rider legend! _
Chinen Hidekazu (Shouma)
The first transformation born from an extreme situation
-Supported by dependable friends and the Director-
"Please tell us your impression of the Kamen Rider series."
Chinen: For me, I've admired Kamen Riders since I was a child, and I love them so much that they're the first thing that comes to mind when people ask, "Who's your hero?" I've lived my whole life dreaming of becoming a Kamen Rider, so I was really happy when I was chosen to be Shouma.
"Are there any works that you find particularly memorable?"
Chinen: It's hard to pick a single work from my generation since I'm so attached to all of them, but……I think "Kamen Rider OOO" might be the one I was particularly enthusiastic about when watching. The dialogue between Hino Eiji and Ankh was interesting, and even as a child the ending made me think, so including its theme song, it's my favorite work. Lately however, I've been super into "Kamen Rider Den-O" (laughs). I'm watching it from the perspective of learning why it became so popular, but I also like Den-O because of Satoh Takeru's (who plays Nogami Ryotaro) amazing performance in which he plays multiple different personalities.
"What kind of person do you feel Shouma is?"
Chinen: I read the script so much that it felt like I was watching myself, as I thought that Shouma was so similar to me. We're very similar in the way that we're abit out of the loop, but also curious and get into the things that interest us. I was glued to the TV when I was a child, and I'd become so engrossed when watching it, that I couldn't even listen to what my mother was saying. However, I feel like I'm far removed from him in terms of his guts and inner strength, his desire to save people even at the risk of his own life, and his ability to fight the enemy. Playing the role of Shouma gives me energy and makes me aspire to be like him.
"We think another feature of this production is that right now, Shouma doesn't have a fixed place to stay, and that he comes into contact with a variety of people wherever he goes."
Chinen: I think alot of people are curious to see what happens next, as so far in Gavv, the story continues to be dominated by Shouma's easygoingness and the fact that we don't know what he's thinking. He seems to have a connection with Sachika-san, who he met in episode 2, so what happens to them in the future is a big point to watch out for!
"Please tell us your impressions of Sachika and the person who plays her, Miyabe Nozomi-san."
Chinen: Miyabe-san is a very refined person, so when we first met at script reading, I was shocked and said, "This person's gonna be a gyaru?!" (laughs). One of the things I like about Miyabe-san is that her mannerisms show the quality of her upbringing, but the more we talked, she really started to look like a gyaru, and I felt that performing together with her was amazing. Sachika-san leaves a strong impression of being a gyaru, but on the inside, she's a stable girl who's able to understand the feelings of others. Seeing her say with a refreshing smile, "I think it's good for everyone to be happy," Shouma respects her and thinks, "She's such a wonderful person" and "I want to be like her," almost like she's the embodiment of peace. When I read the script, I always feel supported and say, "Sachika-san, thank you."
"Shouma's brother sister like relationship with her is also very interesting."
Chinen: Director Sugihara Teruaki said to me, "It's like a dog and his owner" (laughs). Still, I think that Sachika-san's all encompassing kindness, and Shouma's simple mindedness are a great combination, and we're also playing the roles with confidence.
"He's yet to interact with Shouma, but we think the role Hanto plays will also be another highlight to look forward to."
Chinen: In some ways, Hanto is also easygoing, but he's the compassionate, hot blooded type, and he too lives by carrying something on his back. I hope you'll look forward to seeing how Shouma and Hanto, who are completely different types of people, interact with each other and what they'll think of each other in their first meeting. Hino Yusuke-kun, who plays Hanto, is the mood maker who makes the set feel relaxed, which is a gap between him and Hanto, but I feel that we're similar in our passion for the production and performance, and the way we put our all into something. To me, Hino-kun is a rival but also like a reliable big brother, and we often consult with each other and visit each other's houses (laughs).
"What were your impressions of Director Sugihara, who also directed the first two episodes as the pilot Director?"
Chinen: As I had no experience in acting, Director Sugihara is a respected teacher who taught me how to perform from the ground up, including how to read the script, and he's like a father figure from Tokyo. He understands each actor's personality and gives them advice accordingly, and he's an amazing person who draws out our potential, so every time I'm on set, I feel happy to film under Director Sugihara. He's a Director I really love.
"Before filming, it seems that you and the Director practiced vocalization together."
Chinen: Yes, even before I could act, my voice wouldn't come out (laughs). I'm really grateful that he took time out of his busy schedule to watch me one on one, and it was an important turning point that led to something changing in me. I want to grow so that people will feel that I'll have changed over the coming year, and one of my goals is to give an inspiring performance that'll be recognized by Director Sugihara with, "You gave it your all."
-Aiming to be as cool as Nawata-san-
"Kamen Rider Gavv, who Shouma transforms into, has a motif based on gummies and other sweets."
Chinen: When I saw the illustration depicted in the proposal, I thought it was incredibly simple, however, my opinion changed when I saw it in person. The armor on the chest and shoulders have a gradient so that it shines beautifully when light hits it, and there's a playful gimmick where a squishy dent will form when it's pressed, so a bunch of detail has been carefully put into it. I'm now so attached to it, that I can't think of anyone else but Gavv. Personally, what I want you to pay attention to the most are the feet. The feet are actually clawed, and this slightly animal like aspect is an important element of the show, so I'd be happy if you make sure to pay attention to the feet as well.
"What's your impression of Nawata Yuya-san, Gavv's Suit Actor?"
Chinen: Nawata-san is an actor who I shape Shouma together with, and he's an indispensable person to me, as I'm able to talk to him about problems that I can't talk about with the other cast members or the Director. He also taught me about acting, like how to create the mood and how to read the script. I'm grateful to Nawata-san's action, as I think Gavv's appeal has tripled, and I feel like the show itself has also become more brilliant.
"Does that also get you enthusiastic about the post transformation dub recording?"
Chinen: That's right. The recording process is more difficult than normal acting because you have to use only your voice to express your emotions and fight scenes in accordance with the footage. In episodes 1 and 2, I had to rerecord so many times that I lost the strength in my voice, and it took twice as long as the planned time (bitter smile). As well as the performances of my seniors in the Kamen Rider series, I also studied the game "Street Fighter" based on the advice of Director Sugihara, and now I feel like I'm getting by. I'll work more diligently to make Nawata-san's performance 120% more appealing with my voice performance, and to become a Shouma who's just as cool after his transformation into Gavv.
"One of the real thrills of the Kamen Rider series are the transformation scenes, but how did you create the pose?"
Chinen: The transformation pose was decided through a discussion between myself, Action Director Fujita Satoshi, Director Sugihara, and Nawata-san. It's a movement that involves rotating your arm, but the final version, which we created after discussing the angles and timing with everyone to make sure it looked cool and appealing, is the transformation pose used in episode 2. Depending on the story, he could transform quickly, so I hope people watch the way he changes based on the situation.
"In the episodes up to this point, the action leading up to the first transformation in the first episode is a scene that can't be ignored when talking about Shouma. There was some action involving wires, and we were also impressed by his performance as he was gradually being cornered by the Granute."
Chinen: That scene was prepared weeks before the shoot, as Director Sugihara and Action Director Fujita came up with a really cool direction. The scene where Shouma is beaten was especially important to give depth to the reason for his transformation, as it took two days to film. In the end, it was in the most extreme situation I had ever experienced in my life, my performance came out unconsciously, and I was complemented with, "Your facial expressions were very good." I could've never done it on my own, the scene was made possible by the advice of Director Sugihara and Nawata-san, who worked beside me, and by all the staff members who created an environment that allowed me to concentrate on my performance.
"It makes us want to go back and pay attention to the expressions on your face. Finally, please tell us your goals throughout filming of Kamen Rider Gavv."
Chinen: I'd like to learn alot about action from Action Director Fujita, Nawata-san and everyone else on the Action Team, and I'd like to improve my acting skills. I've never been in an environment where I could spend an entire year with people who are so good at captivating others, and I don't think it'll ever happen again in the future. I hope to make full use of this experience so that in the next year, I can be an actor who can do it all, from acting to action and recording, so I'll do my best to do what's in front me!
Director Sugihara Teruaki
The vibrant world Shouma comes across
-A dark story with colorful visuals-
"When did you first hear that you'd be the pilot Director?"
Sugihara: I'm pretty sure it was around last Fall, when I was working on the drama, "Tokyo MPD: From Zero to Hero," I received a phone call from Producer Takebe Naomi-san who said, "I'd like to meet and talk with you at once." I heard from a separate matter that Takebe-san would be in charge of the next Kamen Rider, and at the time, I thought I was going to be the second Director, but when I met her, she said, "You're the pilot Director." (laughs).
"At the stage when Director Sugihara joined, how much of the content in the show was decided on?"
Sugihara: Aside from the sweets and monsters motif, we'd yet to decide on the content of the story and the personalities and relationships of the characters. In the beginning, we were a small group consisting of the Producer team's Takebe-san and Takishima Minami-san, Screenwriter Komura Junko-san, and myself. Our three parties worked out the content by sharing ideas from our respective perspectives.
"What specific ideas did Director Sugihara have in mind? Personally, we felt that the visuals of the characters, including their costumes, incorporated the Director's ideas."
Sugihara: You can assume that I'm basically in charge of visual aspects like the impression and fashion. For Shouma's fashion in particular, during the rather early stages, I'd draw an illustration and say, "How about something like this?," and I'd have them look at it while I created his character.
"Not just Shouma's clothes, but also the interior of Hapipare is rich in color, so much so that it's unusual for the Kamen Rider series."
Sugihara: I told artist Fukuzawa Katsuhiro that I wanted to make the visuals as bright and pop as much as possible. Kamen Rider Gavv itself isn't meant to be a continuation of the "ism" seen in the first generation of Kamen Rider, but it includes themes like family conflict and Shouma's sad separation from his mother, so the content is heavy. Because of this, we made the impression of the colors vivid, and were careful to not make them too dark. Moreover, being in the human world for the first time, Shouma's a kid who's impressed by everything he sees, so I was conscious of the world captured from Shouma's point of view and to use rather flashy colors. Conversely, the Granute World and Stomach Family use muted colors, or to just say it outright, they have dirty colors.
"What do you value in your expression of Shouma, the main character?"
Sugihara: I wanted to depict Shouma as a pure kid, someone who suddenly comes to the human world and finds everything he sees as fresh. On the inside, he's not much different from Hajime, who he first meets in the human world, in fact, he's much more of a child than that kid. So he ponders over what he's been told, hurt by the casual mention of "monster" and afraid of hurting others, he's unable to be together with someone else, so he leaves Hajime and Sachika and goes elsewhere. However, I didn't want to make it too dark, so it was hard to depict (laughs). While he carries a dark side, I want him to be a kid who's always smiling when he's with someone, even if he has to force himself to smile.
"This Shouma is beautifully embodied by Chinen Hidekazu-san."
Sugihara: The best thing about Chinen-kun is that he looks great on camera. That's the kind of talent an actor has. Also, the expressions on his face when he eats are really good. Even though he's eating food he usually sees all the time, he eats it like it's a delicacy, looking as if he's eating something he's never seen before and is impressed. In that sense, I think he was the right choice to play Shouma. Still, since this is roughly his first performance, he had to start from a place where he couldn't express his emotions properly, and to begin with, he couldn't even vocalize. I had Chinen-kun stand on one end of Toei's rooftop, and I stood on the opposite end and had him deliver his lines. I gave him relentless acting instruction from the very beginning (laughs). Filming started earlier than usual, so we've already shot several episodes, and I feel that he can now stand proudly in front of the camera as Shouma. With each episode his performance and facial expressions are getting better and better. I have high expectations for his growth over the next year.
-Dedicated action that make the most of the motif-
"We felt that the vibes of Gavv's everyday scenes were different from that of previous Kamen Rider series, but was there anything you were conscious of in your direction?"
Sugihara: In my mind, I had a bright, pop like feeling, but during filming, Chinen-kun……it was important to me how to capture Shouma and the human world from his point of view. I may have only been thinking, "How can I get a good shot of him?"
"In that sense, it's interesting to think that the entire production is being pulled along by Shouma and Chinen-san."
Sugihara: That's right. This is especially true for the first episode, as the story unfolds from Shouma's point of view, so I was conscious of the fact that I wanted to bring the viewers perspective as close as possible to Shouma's.
"Despite the battle scenes also having a fancy sweets motif, from the very first episode, we were taken back by the intense physical battle depicted between Gavv and the Granute."
Sugihara: I'm pretty sure it was Action Director Fujita Satoshi who put out the idea of a serious fistfight at a container warehouse, and with sword fighting in a narrow space. We specified the colors and placement of the containers, and asked the people on location to arrange them accordingly. From there, Fujita and I talked in detail about the composition of the action, and we put it together by discussing the angles while adding in our own ideas as we filmed on site.
"We heard that you and Fujita-san worked closely together to create this."
Sugihara: I also like action quite abit, so I tell Fujita various things like, "Do this sort of thing." Naturally, Fujita has alot of things he wants to do as well, so the two of us are working together to come up with ideas for action sequences and angles.
"Including Gavv's own actions, the way he fights while "eating" the Gochizo is unique."
Sugihara: It was decided in advance that the transformation items Gochizo would appear alot like that of "Pikmin" and "Minions," so I thought it'd be better to use alot of them. Because of that, when Gavv takes damage, his armor breaks and he'll eat the Gochizo one after another……we're calling it "follow up sweets," and I think it'd be interesting to keep changing sweets and repair them as he fights.
"The standard Poppingummy Form has flexible armor, while Zakuzakuchips Form's sword weapon can easily break depending on how it's used, and the use of sweets as a motif was also visually enjoyable."
Sugihara: Inspiration for the action comes from discussions that are almost like casual conversations. I thought about how things like thin baked snacks such as potato chips might be weak to side attacks (laughs). Also, unlike other Kamen Riders, we don't use bullet impacts on Gavv when we depict him being hit (mechanism that detonates gunpowder that's attached to the performer). In his setup, the armor is derived from sweets generated by his own body, so we tried to create the effect of small bead like things flying around him. During filming, we've been throwing beads into the air from the side of the camera. In that sense, it may have a new visual feel.
"What scenes from episodes 1 and 2 were particularly powerful?"
Sugihara: In terms of taking the most time, I'd say it was before the transformation in the first episode. When I was thinking about Shouma's human image, Takebe-san said, "I don't want him to be a hero who fights just because he has powers." You don't fight just because you have the power to become a Kamen Rider, there's a will to fight, and that's where the power comes in. I wanted to create an image of a hero who's able to transform into Gavv because it's Shouma. Since the time of the script meeting, we had talked about how we wanted to portray a different kind of strength from that of the everyday Shouma, who keeps going despite being beaten up by someone he can't even stand up to. On set, Chinen-kun and I worked together to find out why Shouma was feeling that way, and we worked on his facial expressions and gestures one by one, and I was quite persistent throughout filming. We were supposed to film the transformation scene in one day, but we took too long and didn't get to the transformation, so I had to apologize to the staff (laughs).
"Finally, please tell us your enthusiasm for the future."
Sugihara: Honestly, I have no idea how Kamen Rider Gavv will conclude a year from now, but I want to make a show that'll make people who watched it think, "Gavv was interesting." For this reason, I'd also like to delve deeper into Shouma and Hanto, and Sachika and the others characters, and to make each of them appealing. I'm sure that Komura-san will come up with some great developments (laughs), and for my part, I hope that I can take advantage of that, and as the pilot Director for the first time in a long time, to create images that people watching in their living rooms have never seen before.

here's part 2

梅雨 || Rainy season
“Focus, focus. Remember how that man did it.” Mizu whispered to herself, closed her eyes, and swung her katana to try to slash the bamboo tree. She trains alone to become strong and be able to fulfill her desire for revenge against those four white men—those four possible fathers.
She was neglected, mistreated, and harassed by Kohama's villagers because of her mixed blood. Now she lives with Master Eiji, the finest blacksmith in the zone, maybe in Japan. Many men had come to ask for a sword made by a great master. He was the only person who completely accepted her. Well, him. She couldn’t say if it was because he thought she was a boy or because he just needed some help. Be that as it may, she was grateful to count with that grumpy blind man.
Although it is not like it mattered whether Eiji ‘saw’ her as a girl or a boy, Mizu never knew how to be a girl. The only thing that was certain was that she had to pass as a boy to survive. That was the only way to not get murdered. That was the only way she could ensure her and her mother’s safety. But it’s not like that had a good ending for her only relative.
“I hate everything!” She shouted, and then, with rage, slashed the bamboo and panted heavily. “I’m just a monster,” she whispered, closing her eyes with grief.
Everything about her was a problem. From her breasts starting to grow to her devilish blue eyes. Her icy, unnatural, and unpleasant blue eyes.
She hated them.
However, without knowing it, someone was intrigued by her eyes and her training.
Tumblr media
You were accompanying your father, who wanted to buy a sword from the great Master Eiji. However, you had to wait outside while the two adults talked about men’s things. It did not attract your attention to hear the same stories of fights and combats your father had; you could even recite them from memory as if you had been present.
While exploring the surroundings, far from the town, you peeked at Mizu training in the gyoka’s courtyard. It caught your attention. You could tell the ‘boy’ was someone who was just starting his training by the way he moved.
With a soft smile, you hid behind a tree to continue snooping on the training.
As soon as the boy opened his eyes, he looked at another bamboo. He shook his head and swung the katana back and forth to practice. His stance was somewhat correct, his concentration was good, and his speed and agility were acceptable. Additionally, you noticed that he was wearing weights on his wrists and ankles. Seems like he took training seriously.
“But I can do better,” he whispered. As he moved from side to side, he hit the trunk with the katana, causing the blade to get trapped.
It was risky, but you enjoyed playing with the boys’ patience, and you couldn’t help but feel the tickle of a teasing comment on the tip of your tongue.
“Do you train yourself, or do someone teach you?” You asked with a giggle, still hidden.
The giggles caught his attention. He turned fast to check where the noise was coming from. It sounded like it had come from the forest, and now he was looking into the trees. His eyes reminded you of what a winter sunrise looked like, with the different shades of blue in the sky reflecting on the frozen lakes.
“Who’s there?” He snapped at the voice. He hadn’t seen you hiding in the shadows yet. “What do you want?” The boy had a raspy voice, taking out the katana from the bamboo trunk to point it towards the forest.
“Don’t worry. I was passing by and saw you having difficulties.” You answered without coming out of your hiding spot yet.
“What makes you think I’m having trouble?” He objected while gripping the hilt of the sword.
You just poked your head out, a haughty smile not leaving your face. “Your technique is not very clean.”
It’s disastrous, actually, you think
“Plus, you looked angry at something; even the katana was embedded in the bamboo.” You shrug and point to the logs the boy tried to cut.
“That’s a womanly observation; are you a lady?” He asked with an annoyed smile. He wasn’t willing to let a girl interfere with his training. “I don’t recall asking for your help.”
You chuckled, nodding. “Of course you would take my remark as an offense. I didn’t know that you had a very fragile ego and that you couldn’t accept criticism. Boys are all the same, huh?”
“I’m not here for your opinion,” he said, smirking. “You’re really irritating, but I want to see who you are, unless you’re scared of showing up.” He teased, pointing at the forest.
You came out from behind the tree. You were wearing a red hakama and a white uwagi. Daily clothing of a samurai. Your appearance made him narrow his eyes with cold anger.
“Yes, I should be afraid of you. You can scratch me with your toy sword.” You walked toward the courtyard fence and leaned on it.
Your sarcasm triggered his rage. “You have quite a mouth for someone who doesn’t even know me. Are you always this annoying?”
You bit your lower lip as you smiled, teasing the boy in front of you with your gaze. It was cute to see him trying to be intimidating with his frown hidden behind his bangs. He didn’t even have a good posture to attack you.
“You don’t like it when a girl doesn’t bow down to a boy? Does your pride feel threatened?” You pouted mockingly, speaking in a higher tone, as if you were talking to a hurt child.
When you received no response, you let out an airy chuckle and began to walk away from the yard. What a big loser you had found yourself.
“Are you running away or trying to prove that you have more courage than me?” He tried to appear calm and collected. “Why don’t you stay? Are you the type of girl who runs when she senses danger?” He provoked you again with a smirk.
You stopped and looked at him over your shoulder with a pleased smile. So he had good comebacks.
“If you reacted violently when you noticed my presence, what could await me when I touched your fragile little man’s ego?” You raised an eyebrow, leaning against the fence again nonchalantly.
“Didn’t you say it would just scratch you? I thought I heard that, though maybe I just imagined it.” He responded in the same tone as you; it seemed like he was starting to gain trust.
“Good one. I must give you a point for that.”
“Thank you. Although I feel like a loser for putting myself on your level,"
You smiled mischievously. The way he was talking to you now impressed you. “What level? The level of someone who knows how to properly use a katana?”
The boy’s confident expression immediately faded, and he returned to his previous angry one. “You’re a pain in the ass.”
You shrugged and looked away. It felt like the challenge was over, and now you were starting to get bored. You hoped your father would not take much longer.
“Hey, what makes you have that attitude and confidence in yourself?” He buried the katana in the ground to support it. "Is it because you’re spoiled, or are you just a bitch?”
“What did you just call me?” You felt an eye twitch when you heard that word.
“Oh, you didn’t like it? It’s just that you act quite like a bitch, and I’m genuinely curious to know if you are or if you’re just a mama’s girl.” Now he was the one feigning a soft tone, with a very condescending attitude.
“Huh, so you enjoy insulting girls.” You chuckled and jumped over the fence to get closer to him, intimidating. “Well, this bitch can kick your ass in seconds; I can even kill you. If I were you I would think very carefully before calling me a ‘bitch’ again."
“Why? Do you think you’re better than me? What do you know besides makeup and dresses? Just because you see your dad training and fighting, do you believe you have some knowledge of swordsmanship? If you think you’re better than a man, you’re dead wrong.”
“Boy, your inferiority complex is quite lovely. Do you feel that you are not strong enough to be a man? Who hurt you so much?”
You know that when a boy resorts to putting a girl down, it’s because there is something that threatens his poor, almost nonexistent, pride.
“Who do you think you are to mock me?” He was breathing hard and trying to stop himself from attacking you. You were getting under his skin. “I’m not having an inferiority complex,” he replied with a sharp tone of anger. “You’re just too much of an insolent girl. Maybe I’ll have to teach you to respect me.”
He grabbed your wrist and started twisting it violently. You frowned at this, and quickly gripped his forearm tightly and firmly.
“Let go of me, and I won’t hurt you.” You assured him in a calm tone.
“Oh yeah?” He laughed, as a dangerous threat. “You’d hurt me? Do you even know how to fight and kill?” he asked with a smirk.
You sighed and gripped his forearm tighter. Then spread your legs a little, and before he could react, you had managed to throw him to the ground, climb on his back and twisted his arm.
“You have to improve your balance. It’s easy to knock you down.” You laughed softly, burying your knee in his back.
He was taken by surprise when you, who he thought was a delicate brat, threw him down and pinned him to the ground. The boy winced with pain as he felt his chest pressed against the ground.
“Let me go!” He tried to get away, but then stopped, knowing he couldn’t win in this situation, so his best option was to pretend he had lost. “You have an impressive strength for a girl," he growled with his husky voice getting lower. “Or is it just luck?”
“Or maybe I learned to protect myself from guys like you.” You leaned against him, whispering in his ear. Which made you settle more against his body. "Although you saw me fighting as a woman, I must kill you before you rat me out to the authorities or ruin my father’s chance to get a good sword.”
“You think you can kill me?” He tried to seem collected while teasing you.
“Just tell me when and where. I’ll hurt your little mama’s boy ego even more.” You scoffed once more and forcefully let go of him, standing up again to fix your clothes.
He was still on the ground, and he glared at you with anger, his hand shaking and his ears buzzing. He was breathing hard, and he couldn’t hold the rage in his chest anymore. All he wanted to do was punish you for your insolence.
Finally, he stood up and brushed his clothes. “I’ll show you how a real man can make a girl like you regret being insolent to him.”
He growled and quickly ran toward you to tackle you. He secured your legs with his as he grabbed your wrists tightly.
“I have enough problems, and right now, you’re my biggest problem!” His anger was uncontrollable. "You know nothing about men, so why do you open your mouth?” His grip tightened, causing an intense pain.
“Maybe because I have a father and a brother? Let me go now!” You tried to set yourself free from his grip. You raised your head to hit him on the forehead with yours, which made him move away to caress himself there.
You stood up and approached him to take him by the shoulders and kick him hard in the stomach with your knee, managing to knock the air out of him.
As he writhed on the ground in pain, you walked over to the katana and pulled it out of the ground to walk toward him again, pointing it at him. He looked at you with fear and was surprised by your skills.
"Give me… my katana…" He coughed, trying to breathe.
“Ow, you look so adorable,” you laughed mockingly, walking in circles around him. “You really are weak for a boy my age…”
“I said, Give me my katana.” He repeated this with a serious and firm tone.
“Come on, man! Fight me.” You threw the katana to the ground. “No boy has ever tried to spar me. Don’t disappoint me.”
He could see the mockery in your eyes, and it irritated him. “So you’re saying you like picking up fights with boys?” He asked with a cold stare.
"Hah…I might as well give you the satisfaction of getting beaten.” He said it in a cold state and picked up the katana from the floor after getting up.
You looked for something to defend yourself with, and grabbed a wet wooden bar from the ground. “How are you so sure you’ll beat me? Did your little man’s ego tell you that?” You taunted the boy, circling him again, wielding the bar in your hand.
“Why don’t you come here and find out who the real man is?” He asked with a sarcastic tone. He was looking straight at you, his eyes not moving.
“I assure you, there is no real man in front of me; I only see a little boy who can’t stand criticism.” You laughed loudly and ran toward him. You hit his wrist with the wooden bar and kicked him hard to the side, then took distance.
The blow to his wrist made him drop the katana. There was no way he could hold on with so much soreness. Your kick on his side caused him to coughed, but he blinked away the pain. “Is that all you can do?” he asked in rage. “You’re weak; you’re not even a real challenge.”
You threw the wooden bar and waved with your hands for him to come over. “Come, let’s fight without swords. Show me how much strength you have without your toy katana.”
Your arrogance was too much; he couldn’t take it anymore. With an angry shout and full of rage, he ran toward you without any fear, after throwing the sword away. "Is that what you want, you fucking brat? No weapons? Fine!” He screamed and raised his fists.
With excitement you ran towards him. As soon as you were close, you landed a blow on his stomach, but before he fell, you grabbed him by his shoulders.
“You call me weak again, and I’ll kill you, you bastard.” For the first time you were not laughing, now you looked upset and serious.
“You stupid bitch…" He spat with his bottom lip trembling from anger and pain in his stomach. As soon as he had a chance to free himself, he launched a knee strike at your stomach.
You groaned in pain and moved away to hug your stomach. You looked up at him from your spot, feeling your anger rising within. “What did you call me again, asshole?”
He looked at your enraged looks, and he smiled. His own arrogance returned. “A bitch,” he said, and then laughed. “Can’t you take it? You’re the one who wanted to fight without weapons, and this is what you get.”
You growled furiously and sprinted toward him, managing to tackle him to the ground. You climbed on top of him and started punching him in the face. “Never call me a bitch again!”
Your fists pounded his face non-stop. Every punch was landing on target; he was getting dizzy. You were strong and skilled. Through his pain, he cursed you and then shouted in a loud voice, “Get off me, you bitch!”
“Force me! Fight like a man.” You tightened your hands on Mizu’s shirt to lift his head from the ground. “Hit me if you dare."
“You’re crazy," he mumbled through his bloody lips. With that word, he launched an elbow strike at your chin.
You brought one of your hands to your face, feeling your mouth was beginning to bleed. You looked with bloodshot eyes at him, and again, you began to hit him everywhere. At the same time, you also received punches from the boy under you.
He was not going to lose. He tried an uppercut on your stomach, but at the last moment, you avoided the blow and landed a knee on his nose. "You…" he muttered angrily, his face contorting from pain.
You moved away from him, to take a breath. Your entire face was beaten and covered in blood, just like his. The breathing was heavy, and you had to shake your head from time to time to avoid falling unconscious. "I'm going to… kill you." You managed to say it between deep, fatigued breaths.
Tumblr media
Mizu’s whole body hurt, and she was sure you both had huge, horrible bruises on your skin. She coughed, and blood was dripping from her lips. She was breathing fast and couldn’t even think clearly because of the intense and sharp pain.
With an angry expression on her bloodied face, she glared at you. “I would never lose to you… never!” she said in a loud and menacing tone.
“Wanna bet?” You spat blood to the ground, glaring angrily at her.
But before you could run again, a hand grabbed your wrist violently. It was your father, an imposing and terrifying samurai. He looked angry.
“What do you think you’re doing, little one? Do you want to ruin my business with Eiji or what?” He growled angrily, tightening his grip on his daughter’s wrist and hurting her.
You shook your head repeatedly, trying to free yourself. “No, no, sorry, sorry.”
Mizu’s anger turned into surprise when she saw the man grabbing your wrist. She didn’t expect that at all. The man was intimidating; his grip was so tight that it must have hurt you.
With all the anger inside her boiling, she took the chance to get a break from the fight and jumped to her feet. “Let her go.” She shouted in a furious and threatening tone.
You were a pain in the ass, but she wouldn’t let someone stronger than you hurt you like that. Only you two could hit each other because you were on the same level, so she thought.
“You better stay out of this, kid. This is a father-daughter thing.” The man looked at Mizu and then at his daughter, still upset. “Walk. We’re leaving.”
You nodded softly and jumped over the fence to approach your father. “Bye…you.” You realized you didn’t even know the name of the person you had been sparring with. “Thanks for the fight.”
That surprised Mizu. She didn’t expect you to walk away without protesting. She expected you to be more like before and fight your dad over this.
She watched you going through the forest and then nodded to herself. “Bye...” She picked up her katana and went back to Master Eiji’s.
Mizu was nervous about possible reprimands from Eiji, but the man just remained silent. Dead silent. He only spoke to her when he needed firewood, when he needed her to keep the fire going, or when they needed to eat. She knew he was aware of the fight, and perhaps the lesson he wanted to teach her was hidden in his quietude.
But not only was her head plagued with thoughts about Eiji, your memory was also floating around. She wondered if your father had hurt you, punished you or hit you. He looked furious when he found you fighting. She had to admit that she was a little worried about your well-being.
The days passed, turning into three weeks. The blows to both of your bodies hurt horribly, and you two could hardly do physical activities without ending up complaining. Mizu always tried to keep her moans of pain to herself so as not to make Eiji angrier. Although all she wanted to do was hiss because of the stings that moving her limbs caused her.
However, one night, that samurai returned to look for the katana he ordered. And there you were. Accompanying your father again, your face was full of bruises and some cuts. You looked at her with a serious frown while sitting on the ground, unable to help but grimace in pain.
Mizu was standing next to the swordsmith, studying your looks. She watched you with inquisitiveness. You looked equally terrible; your body was covered in bruises, and your skin was practically pink and purplish just like hers, but you still had some grace surrounding you. You looked like a worthy daughter of a samurai.
“My little imp likes to say a few words to your kōhai, Master Eiji.” Your father said this after clearing his throat and kneeling in front of the old man.
You sighed heavily, staring at Mizu. “I’m sorry for provoking you and starting the fight. I just wanted to brag about the training I’ve been receiving from my father, plus I have a terrible temper, and I will work on it to avoid future altercations."
Mizu only raised an eyebrow, looking at you in disbelief; although she wanted to let out a smirk. She felt quite satisfied to see you finally apologize.
“And Master Eiji, I also apologize for taunting and hitting your kōhai and apprentice. I didn’t consider that by messing with him, I was doing it to you too.” You performed dogeza for Mizu and the blacksmith, hoping they would see the sincerity in your words.
Mizu couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear now, almost laughing. Seeing you kowtowing only made her feel pleased, showing so much vulnerability… Maybe she will start to like you.
Master Eiji forgave you; he always would, no matter what. Now you were just waiting for Mizu’s response, without separating your forehead from the ground. You knew she was making fun of your position, but you couldn’t break your bow until you received an apology, which made you frown slightly. You didn’t want to continue humiliating yourself in front of that arrogant boy. That arrogant boy with an attractive smirk…
Mizu coughed softly into her fist, trying to hide her laughter. She sniffled a little and smiled in your direction. “No problem; I also provoked you and encouraged the fight.”
Finally, you broke your bow and sat back on your heels without taking away your gaze off her. Mizu kept looking at you with a sly smile, mocking you.
Did he just want to continue playing to provoke each other? Because I’m about to rip that smile away with one punch. You though clenching your fists.
The two adults started talking about the samurai’s new sword, and for once, Mizu wasn’t interested in paying attention to that. She was much more attentive to what your next move would be.
You began to move your lips, saying something without making the slightest sound. “What is your name?” You asked, not wanting your father to see you talking to her.
Mizu narrowed her eyes as she saw the movements of your lips. She tried to figure out what you were saying. She moved her left hand slowly and pointed to her ear. “I can’t hear what you are saying," she muttered quietly.
You rolled your eyes and started to move your hands, attempting to communicate. You pointed to your mouth, then to your father and your ear, and finally shook your fingers. What you wanted to tell Mizu was that you didn’t want your dad to hear you both talking.
She got your message, nodded, and put one hand over her mouth, the other raised showing that she wouldn't say a word. Mizu was now very interested in what you were going to say. This girl is so mysterious.
“Are you grounded?” You moved your lips again, mimicking the words.
“Sort of.” Mizu gestured with a shrug and a sway of her head from side to side, wrinkling her nose with a silent giggle.
You laughed silently, covering your mouth. You looked askance at your father as he stood up to test the weight and flexibility of his new katana. That means you will be gone soon.
You pointed at your own face and then pointed at Mizu. “They hurt?” You asked, referring to the bruises.
Her curiosity turned into surprise as she nodded her head again. She pointed at her own face and then moved her hand to try to mimic how the bruises hurt. You nodded several times as well. Your face also hurts a lot. You now moved your hand over to the rest of your body, and then clenched your eyes and fists, wanting to communicate that it also hurt like hell.
Mizu inclined her head repeatedly to assure you. She rubbed her tummy and winced in pain, closing her eyes. But then she opened them again to see you.
You bit your lower lip and sighed softly. “I’m sorry.” You moved your lips, smiling with sincerity. You were remorseful for hurting her so much.
She smiled slightly and shook her head. She nodded and rubbed her bruises to show you that it was fine. She could tell that your words were sincere. Mizu felt flustered for getting this kind side of you. It was weird. She was sure she hated you minutes ago, but now she feels she took a shine to you.
Your father swung down the katana one more time and bowed before Master Eiji. He sheathed his sword and thanked the blacksmith, then saw you. “Come on, we must continue with the trip.”
The man made a reverence again and walked out of the gyoka, with a straight and intimidating posture.
You stood up quickly, which made your ribs hurt horribly. Despite that, you approached Mizu, looking at her. “What’s your name?” Now you spoke normally, your father was no longer there to reprimand you.
"I'mI’m Mizu,” she said, looking at you with shock, realizing that neither of you knew each other’s name. She serenely studied your face, mesmerized by the color of your eyes. Despite having bruise marks, your facial features were still graceful. You were a pretty girl, Mizu had to admit.
“Mizu. Cute.” That’s the only answer you gave her before walking towards the door of the house, still holding your ribs, after your father called you again.
Mizu watched you leave, absorbed in that word that played non-stop in her mind. Cute. Something deep inside her told her that it was a sarcastic comment on your part, but the way her heart was beating desperately made her perceive it as a sincere compliment.
Are boys called ‘cute’? Did you know she was a girl? Was she cute? Was that a degrading and debilitating term, or was it a validation of her looks?
Or just her name seems cute to you?
‘Cute’ was a word that made her feel seen and appreciated. Especially coming from someone who irradiated such elegance and grace. You were the daughter of a samurai, probably an important one. Your clothes were obviously made of the best material on the market.
The duality of your appearance made her envious. You could pass for someone fragile and delicate, but underneath that mask was a strong, skilled, and stubborn girl. Besides, that sudden change from arrogant to kind intrigued her, and she had to accept it was very appealing from you.
Plus, you never mentioned her eyes nor her looks. As if she were just another fellow around. Mizu couldn’t determine if she liked that you hadn’t mentioned her mixed-race heritage or the possibility of you seeing her as 'just another boy.'
However, she needed to know what you thought of her. It was a nascent desire that was beginning to confuse her.
By the time she realized she had spent ten minutes watching where you had gone, she realized she didn’t know your name. She couldn’t even ask you your name, and asking Eiji would be a huge embarrassment. She cursed herself for not snapping out of her reverie in time.
“Stupid, Mizu. You hear her calling you ‘cute’ and you become a fool." She scolded herself and wrinkled her nose in bewilderment and anger.
Now she has to wait for you to return to that place or perhaps meet you by chance while traveling. Another fight didn’t seem like such a bad idea, especially if you two would treat each other so well afterward.

Incorrect quotes
Mizu: Before I am a woman, I am a menace to society
Taigen: *Whips his head around* YOU'RE TELLING ME YOU'RE ACTUALLY A WOMAN?!?!
Mizu: Do you have a problem?-
Taigen: OH THANK THE GODS! Now I don't have to have a crisis about being attracted to a man.
Mizu: Wtf-
-
Young Mizu: But Swordfather, how did you know I was a social outcast?
Master Eiji: Child, if you weren't a social outcast, you would not have had to act like a rat and freeload at my house.
-
Akemi: *sobbing because of her failed engagement to Taigen*
Ringo: *trying to comfort her* Aw, well I'm sure you can find someone else like him.
Akemi: No, you don't understand. I'll never find someone like him.
Ringo: What was he like?
Akemi: Well, he was nice to me.
Ringo: You could buy a dog...???
Akemi: That's not helping.
Ringo: *Under his breath* At least a dog wouldn't celebrate your engagement at a brothel.
Akemi: What?
Ringo: What?
-
Taigen: I feel as if I've disappointed you.
Akemi: Oh, don't worry Taigen. You already disappoint me on the daily.
-
Mizu: Ringo, did you know that atoms don't touch each other? And since we're made out of atoms, I never actually committed murder?
Ringo: Master, you used a sword to stab people. Not your bare hands.
-
Shindo: Abijah, the man I met was no man. He was a monster.
Mizu: I have something crazy to say-
Fowler: Why tf did his ribs break like a woman then?

— make it fit
Based on this post here.
Kirishima says he’ll make it fit, but it really really won’t fit.
Warnings: 18+, size difference, hinted first time, creampie, Kirishima jerks off in readers pussy, Kiri talks to your pussy like it’s a person sorry not sorry, not proofread.
Pairing: Kirishima Eijirou x f!reader.
Word Count: 1.2k.
Tumblr media
It’s no secret that Kirishima is big.
The number eight Pro-Hero is a force to be reckoned with as he towers over most other heroes, especially his old classmates. He’s a towering wall of muscle and dwarfs you with ease, whenever you hold his hand or sit on his lap you’re reminded about just how contrasting the size difference is. And being a man of his stature means there isn’t a part of Kirishima that’s small.
“Fuck,” Kirishima grunts as the swollen tip of his cock catches against your hole, leaning into the give as he begins to press his hips forward.
But he’s too big, too thick.
It feels like all the air has been stolen from your lungs as he begins to breach your wet heat, certain you can feel him in your throat as you begin to seize up.
“Shit, baby,” He chokes, moving a calloused thumb to press sloppy circles against your clit, “You gotta relax.”
And you’re trying, you really are. Thinking back to all the nights you’d spent dreaming of this moment, your fingers stuffed into your tight cunt as you tried to imagine they were his cock. Spreading and scissoring your digits in a feeble attempt of replicating the size, but of course you hadn’t prepared for him to be quite this big.
“You’re so fucking tight, oh shit—“ Kirishima clenches his eyes shut tight, terrified that if he opens them he’ll cum too soon. The debauched expression on your face veiled with the slightest hint of pain has his cock pulsing, his balls tightening as he contemplates just rutting his hips forward and forcing his cock into your wet, warm hole, “Come on, sweet girl. You got this, I got you—
He’s panting now, short chaste breaths which have his chest heaving. It does nothing to quell the ache between your thighs, only serving to have your clit throbbing with desire when his eyes roll back.
“Eiji— it hurts,” Your jaw tightens as you hiss through gritted teeth when Kirishima shifts his hips, your cunt drooling around him does nothing to help ease him inside. The lubrication no match for his thick girth as he tries a different angle. A different approach as he presses palm to your thigh, raising your hips but to no avail.
“I know, baby. I know,” He coos, leaning down to pepper wet kisses against your cheek. Following the path of the tears that streak down the apples of your cheeks as the change of angle has you gasping in surprise, a pained squeal tumbles from the back of your throat as you make a sound akin to a wounded animal, “Fuck, sweetheart. I’m sorry—”
But Kirishima still doesn’t pull out. He feels like a monster for deliberately trying to continue when you’re in pain, when he’s hurting you. It’s not his fault. Not when you feel so good, his cock begs for more as he cherishes the way your cunt wraps around him. Even with just the tip buried inside you he can still feel the way you clench around him, like your needy cunt is desperately trying to milk him for all he’s got.
“I just gotta get this tight little pussy used to me is all,” He groans, letting his fingers feel around his cock, pressing down on where your bodies are connected as he collects your slick against his fingers, “Get her all nice and ready for my cock.”
Kirishima loves the way your cunt pulses at his praise, gazing down at you through half-lidded eyes as he begins to stroke himself. Smearing your slick along his length as he wraps himself in a fist, tightening it to try and replicate how tight your cunt would be if he just forced his hips forward.
“It’s okay, sweetheart. We’ll keep trying yeah? Keep trying until I stretch this pretty pussy out.” He’s rambling now, drunk on pleasure as he imagines just how deep inside you he would be if you took him all. His free hand tracing a path along your pelvis towards your stomach as he presses down.
Your smaller hands wrap around his wrist for some semblance of reality as Kirishima continues to jerk himself off with his swollen tip still buried inside you.
“Please, Eiji.” His fist bumps your clit with each forward motion as he watches you writhe beneath him, almost like you’re begging for his cum.
And who is he to deny you? He’s a gentleman after all.
“I think she can take me all, she’s just shy.” He continued, flicking his wrist as he continued to stroke his cock, “But she can take all my cum, can’t she?”
Your tits are bouncing from the force of his fist as he begins to buck his hips into his touch, more of his cock disappears inside you as you choke back a moan. A constant heartbeat throbs in your trachea as your nails dig into the soft skin on his wrist, watching as Kirishima practically loses himself inside your cunt. Messy wisps of red hair stick to his temples as the crude schlick of his hand stroking his cock echos around the room, paired with his guttural groans as he works himself towards his end.
“So pretty like this, so tight, wet— fuck,” He’s losing himself, delirium setting in as he follows his bliss. The familiar sensation rumbles between his thighs as his cock begins to twitch, pressing his palm down on your belly as he cums hard. Spilling rope after rope of warm, thick cum into your tight hole.
Kirishima sounds even better saying your name when it’s at the end of a crescendo, the husky rasp to his tone has your walls clamping down around him as you feel a warmth beginning to consume you from the inside. His cheeks flushed as he gazed down at you, pulling his tip out from your tight cunt to watch his milky cum drool out of you. Your little hole barely stretched, but he can tell the difference. The slight flutter of your walls an indication of just how much he’d managed to fit inside.
And he’d make you take more, you’d take every inch of him soon enough. Of course you would.
“You did so good for me, sweetheart,” Kirishima mumbled, his hands already circling beneath your thighs, “Such a good girl.”
“But it didn’t fit.” You pouted, like an insubordinate child who didn’t get their own way.
“It’s okay, baby.” He cooed, “I’ll make it fit.”
He’s already tugging your thighs apart to hoist your hips up to his eager mouth, his tongue gliding through your slick as he pushes against your drooling hole full of his release.
“Let me clean you up and we’ll try again, yeah sweetheart?”

maybe i’m being ‘biased’ here but mizu’s backstory is the most heartbreaking and tragic ones I’ve ever heard. (spoilers for whole season!)
1. been alienated as an outcast, some creature to be hidden away from world’s view and hit if she misbehaves even if it’s just merely looking out her hut.
2. constantly in fear of the men who are hunting her down and would not hesitate to slaughter her if she is seen outside
3. after her mother perishes in a fire, she is left feeling overwhelmed with shame and remorse for being the reason for her death.
4. she was left to salvage and survive at such a young age only to be targeted and tormented relentlessly.
5. despite being well taken care of by master eiji, she has never once been able to enjoy herself or be carefree.
6. then, she sacrifices her vow—along with so much effort and hard work at sparring for that goal—and becomes devoted to her marriage; a short-term happiness before she was referred to as a monster because of who she is + guards ordered to kill her as her mother and husband play the blame game.
7. slowly but surely, she embraces her femininity, a part of her that she’s concealed from the world for so long
8. eventually, she realizes that she had always been just a money maker for her ‘mother’, pushed aside until she was worth the money to come back to.
it’s all damn depressing when you consider that she has dealt with racism, betrayal, isolation, developed trust issues, becoming almost completely numb and realizing that she has never truly mattered to anyone. only god knows how much worse things will get for her when she gets to london and is forced to mask her very distinct japanese features as well…

KiriBaku x Reader
Little MHA drabble! Would love to explore this dynamic more in the future as things come to mind.
Context: Characters are aged-up to their mid-20s! Both Bakugou and Kirishima are full-time Pro-Heroes. Reader and Bakugou were together before adding Kiri into the mix :) No physical traits are mentioned for reader, but it is assumed in this drabble that reader is AFAB.
Let me know what you think!
“Hey, Kats?” You questioned as you peered up from your book, eyes boring into the side of your blonde boyfriend’s face as he read something on his phone. Kirishima had been gone all morning while Bakugou kept you company on his day off. You two were currently sprawled on the couch, your feet resting in his lap as you read your book and he responded to important emails.
Bakugou simply hummed, letting you know that he was listening as he typed away, brows scrunched together. You wiggled your feet nervously, laying your book down on your chest and clearing your throat before speaking again. “Did you um…I mean, were you nervous when you first fucked Eiji?” You felt your cheeks heating up as you spoke, doing anything to avoid his gaze as you heard your boyfriend sigh and set his phone down before peering at you.
“Honey, you’ve had sex with Eijirou before.” He stated in a bored tone, red eyes staring you down and commanding your attention.
You finally turned to meet his gaze, gnawing on the inside of your cheek for a second as you thought your next words over. “Yeah…I guess…but I haven’t…I mean we haven’t done it one-on-one yet.” You mumbled, almost too quiet for him to hear.
“And what’s stopping you? Do you just feel like you’re maybe not there yet? There’s no rush for anything, you know, we’re getting adjusted to this new dynamic.”
“I don’t think it’s that,” You sighed, “I definitely want to. I think I just get a little freaked out because we’ve never done it alone before and the one time we all slept together, he didn’t um…I didn’t have him inside me, and he’s umm…-” Your body felt like it was on fire with the embarrassment of having this conversation. Bakugou knew from experience that you were far from being a prude, having had you in many compromising positions himself. However, you were finding that you had a hard time opening up about your nerves when it came to boning your other boyfriend for the first time. It had only been a few weeks since the two of you had decided to start dating the redhead, and you were still getting used to having two men to care for rather than one. Not to mention, the fact that you were still in the awkward stage of dating Eijirou, having to transition from being really good friends with him to something more romantic.
“Got a monster cock?” Bakugou finished for you, a knowing smirk on his face. “Don’t worry, Princess, if I can take it up the ass, I promise you’ll be okay.” He chuckles, leaning over to pinch your thigh as you squeal.

um so i went overboard @kirider i did. go overboard. sorry if you haven't watched any of these 🙇‍♀️
It's A Little Crowded In Here
As far as Ichimonji knew, he and Hongo were the only Kamen Riders around, so to be sent to the quarry by Taki and discovering that, holy hell, there were a LOT OF OTHER KAMEN RIDERS, was a bit of a shock.
Well, existential crisis #69420 would have to wait, apparently, because those other Kamen Riders clearly needed help.
Be careful.
“Always am!”
Ichimonji got down to the fight, where Hongo helped him fight against...probably at LEAST twenty different types of monsters, and Ichimonji was fairly sure they were just grunts!
Still, he stood his ground, just like all the other Kamen Riders around him.
Something flew overhead, and Ichimonji didn’t really have time to react before he and a few other Kamen Riders were struck by a beam of light.
He threw his hand up to ward off the brightness, which had the really weird effect of drawing in all the other Kamen Riders...into him?
WHAT IS HAPPENING?!?!?
Shoutarou, calm down please.
Idiot genius, what did you do this time?
Why are you blaming ME, musclehead?
You try and make sure an idiot stays alive in battle and what do you get for it? Stuck in someone else’s head. Unbelievable.
I did tell you I didn’t need your help, Ankh.
Wow, this is more crowded than usual, can I shoot you guys?
Ryuuta, that has no class.
Like you know about class, perverted turtle!
Guys, please…
Don’t make others cry, Momo-tachi!
Guess using Mighty Brothers form backfired on us, eh M?
We’ll keep that in mind for next time.
“Um. Hi?”
There was a second of pause, and then the chorus of voices started up again, only this time it seemed to be in argument.
Ichimonji, they are very loud.
“I can. Hear that. Maybe someone can explain?”
I’m not sure anyone can explain why this happened, Ichimonji.
There was a collective groan as everyone seemed to whip towards two voices in particular, which was a very weird thing to only feel.
Why’d you say that?? Sento’s not going to be able to shut up if you say that!
“Sento! A name! How ‘bout we start with that. Everyone’s name. I’m Ichimonji Hayato.”
And I’m Hongo Takeshi.
There was a bit of mental scuffling.
Oh, I’m first?
You’re the most senior of us in here.
Oh, I guess that’s true. Nogami Ryoutarou, and this is Momotaros, Urataros, Kintaros, and Ryuutaros. They’re Imagins. Um, I’m Den-O.
Aibou, us next.
We’re OLD now, mou! Hidari Shoutarou and Philip, Kamen Rider W.
We are not old, Shoutarou is exaggerating.
Hino Eiji, Kamen Rider OOO, and Ankh is here because he helps in battles these days.
This is still irritating.
Hojou Emu, and Parad, Kamen Riders Ex-Aid and Para-DX.
‘Sup?
Kiryuu Sento, Kamen Rider Build. I have a feeling I’m here because I was in the combined form with Banjou.
Is THAT why? Ugh. Anyways, Kamen Rider Cross-Z, Banjou Ryuuga.
“So everyone here...combines together?”
Not usually, no, but in this case the opponent was strong enough to warrant trying it. Best Match, and all that.
Co-opt, in our case.
I’m not quite combined, the Imagins possess me.
Ankh’s case is closer to possession, as well.
We actually combine together every time, yes.
“...great! So, uh, yeah, I don’t know what to do here.”
You said you were Ichimonji Hayato, correct?
“Yeah, why?”
Fascinating.
“Is that a good fascinating or a bad one?”
It’s merely interesting, I suppose. You are not the first Ichimonji Hayato to be Nigou, nor is Hongo the first Ichigou.
Aibou, what the hell? ...Wait. The Showa nonsense, right?
Correct. But not only that. There was a Hongo and Ichimonji in 2005, as well as others.
Were you talking with Decade again or something, W?
Ichimonji was going to have a headache and also a massive talk with Taki once this battle was over.

70 year ago Tomoyuki Tanaka first thought a giant monster rise from the sea when he on a plane after failed to make a war film called shadow of glory with a Indonesian. With the news of Lucky Dragon no.5 exposed by radiation fallout he combined the monster on the loose from The Beast from 20,000 Fathom with the horror of atomic bomb they create a monster that spawned the Kaiju Genre. Thank you Tomoyuki Takana,Ishirō Honda,Eiji Tsuburaya, and Akira Ifukube and the past and future of Godzilla crews for giving us the greatest movie monster of all time.

Hero Vision Vol.37 (2010/Summer) ft. Kamen Rider OOO Cast Members Watanabe Shu & Miura Ryosuke Interviews (translations below)
Publication: September 7, 2010
Watanabe Shu (Eiji Hino)
"Playing the role of the main character Eiji Hino and Kamen Rider OOO in "Kamen Rider OOO," is Watanabe Shu-kun. He's always thought, "I've always wanted to become a Kamen Rider," and the passion he has for this production has only seemed to have intensified. Watanabe-kun has only just started to create the role, but what's the main appeal of OOO and Eiji? We present to you this hot interview."
-I'm going to become a Kamen Rider!-
Ever since my first year of elementary school, starting with "Kamen Rider Kuuga," I've watched all of the Heisei Kamen Rider series in real time. At first, seeing a Kamen Rider defeat a monster was just so cool, and I couldn't stop watching. Around the time of the third series, "Ryuki," and fourth series, "Faiz," I was able to better understand even the smallest of details, and I began to think, "I'm going to become a Kamen Rider!"
While I continued to think like this, the chance to audition for "Kamen Rider OOO" was presented to me. I was more determined than any of the other contestants to win the audition, and it's not an exaggeration to say that I was putting my life on the line. That's why when I was chosen, I was so happy that I burst into tears.
Out of all the Heisei Kamen Rider series, the one I like the most is Kamen Rider Faiz. When he transforms, this area (his face and the 5 sections of his body) beeps and lights up, and when he does a Rider Kick, there's a flash of red…..the transformation and battle scenes are really cool!
Not only Faiz, but I've been influenced by the previous works of my seniors in many ways. In particular, when the Producer told me that Eiji's character is similar to that of Ryuki's main character (Shinji Kido), I had a fresh new look on him.
However, I don't want to end up copying his character, rather, I want to make sure that Eiji's own character comes through. When I think, "The feeling of Eiji," it's…..that he doesn't sweat the small stuff, and that he doesn't care about looking cool. Still, he'll face anyone directly, and has a strong will to protect what he wants to protect at all costs. I think that Eiji's a very straightforward guy. I also think the fact that he carries around nothing but his underwear and some coins means that he doesn't worry about appearances. My personality is that I also don't sweat the small stuff (laughs), and I'm not shy, so I have many similarities with Eiji. I'd like to play the role of a reliable hero by incorporating the coolness of Eiji and OOO into my own personality.
-A carefully crafted transformation scene-
It's been about 3 weeks since filming began (this interview takes place in early July), but the scale of the show's production was beyond my imagination. From the number of people involved, the methods used for filming, and everything else was massive. I get really excited when I think about being in such a production. I'll never forget the excitement I felt when I filmed the transformation scene for the first time! In Kamen Rider W's film (Kamen Rider W Forever), there's a scene where OOO appears, and by saying, "Henshin!," I realized just how hard I'd been working to get here……and I almost started to cry without thinking.
OOO's transformation is so cool! There's lots of attention to detail, like with the 3 medals in the belt and the elaborate moves. The Action Director, (Tsuyoshi) Miyazaki, came up with the basics, and we worked together on the detailed hand movements and positions. I suggested that since my left hand was facing the camera, my palm should be facing towards it, and also thought up ways of saying, "Henshin!" It's an important scene throughout the show, and I want to create the image of Eiji and the hero that I envisioned, so I was very specific about it. In W's film, Eiji is supposed to have experienced transforming many times before, so I made sure he looked confident. But, the transformation in the first episode of our main story is Eiji's first transformation, so it gives off a fresh feeling. I hope you enjoy both!
On days where I was taught how to pose, I'd practice by myself at home until midnight. In my mind, I created the image of becoming OOO as if I were in CG (laughs). I can't wait to see it, as the end result will be even better than that. I definitely have to go to the preview screenings! (laughs).
Eiji's a guy who's on the move alot, so I'm looking forward to seeing more action scenes. We shot alot in episodes 1 and 2, with me being grabbed by the monsters, being thrown around, being blown up, and rolling around. I'm still abit awkward at it, but with the help of Director Miyazaki and Suit Actor (Seiji) Takaiwa-san, I hope that in the end, I'll be able to jump off a building.
Ah, I mean, I want to improve that badly, but whether I can really do it or not is another story! (laughs). My dream is to punch and kick the monsters untransformed, so I'd like to make that happen too. If I keep talking about it like this, it'll come true someday, right? (laughs).
-Teamwork is the best!-
Things are so much fun on set. Ankh's actor, (Miura) Ryosuke-kun, is currently 5 years older me, and Shintaro Goto's actor, (Asaya) Kimijima-kun is 3 years older, but once I started talking to them, we quickly became friends. Miura-kun is the person I interact with the most in my role, so we're often together on set, and we talk about things other than acting, like my favorite manga (laughs). You get to know Miura-kun as he performs during filming. When the cameras aren't rolling, we talk about different topics, and I'd to get to know Miura-kun better when we're not acting.
As for Kimijima-kun….I was already a fan (laughs). When I was in middle school, I saw Kimijima-kun as a model in a fashion magazine, and it made me happy. Both of them are like kind older brothers, so I think it'll be alot of fun for the 3 of us to be in the same dressing room together.
We're off to a good start, and I have a feeling that the teamwork on set will keep getting better. We'll create an interesting show together, so please look forward to it!
-Watanabe Shu's Body-
Head: I'm a super positive person, so I just get through everything with the attitude of, "Well, I'll just figure it out." Who do I take after…..maybe it's a mutation? (laughs).
Ear: I've been told that I have "Hell Ears," because I carefully listen and remember the various things people say (laughs). I don't have any piercings…..making a hole looks like it'd hurt.
Eyes: I used to play sports, so my eyesight is well developed. I can even dodge punches, which I think will help me with action scenes!
Nose: I'm sensitive to the smell of food, and can guess what kind of food it is without looking. By the way, I love the smell of meat. I'm like a cave man (laughs).
Hand: I like to draw, and got the highest scores in art. But, I was more involved with sports, so now I'm abit rusty. Women probably prefer slimmer fingers anyway (laughs).
Mouth: I'm not shy at all, so even if I just met someone, I'll talk to them as much as I can. In other words, I'm annoying (laughs).
Foot: I'm fast! I used to run short distance and hurdle races, but I'm especially good at 400 meters races, and once took 3rd place in a prefectural competition with a time of 51.24 seconds!
Mind: I don't get upset about things too much. Maybe it's because a girl called me "insensitive" when I was in elementary school. Now that I think about it, that word seems to carry a serious meaning (laughs).
OOO: The theme of OOO is "Desire," and my "Desire" was to become a Kamen Rider. I think it's because I kept that in mind that I was able to encounter this production. Now, OOO is "Desire" itself. _
Miura Ryosuke (Ankh)
"Playing the double role of Shingo Izumi, a detective, and Ankh, the monster who possesses him in "Kamen Rider OOO," is Miura Ryosuke-kun. With the aim of, "Playing a beloved monster," he seems to be exploring for new ways to express himself everyday."
-Aiming to become a beloved monster-
I met with the Producer and Director through an interview, where I was given the opportunity to be apart of this production. The day before the interview, I was so nervous because my mind was racing (bitter smile). But, in order for people to understand you, you have to enjoy yourself, so that's what I did, and from the beginning, everyone talked to me in such a friendly manner…..I immediately felt relaxed and at ease.
When I was chosen for the role of Ankh, I thought to myself, "I'm grateful." I've been an actor for about 9 years now, and I was afraid that I'd only be doing on the spot performances. But, I now feel that it's because of my previous experience that I was able to get a role that'll last as long as a year. That's why I'm "grateful."
After filming began, the separation of the roles for Shingo Izumi and Ankh become a major point for me. Director (Ryuta) Tasaki, who shot episodes 1 and 2, asked me to, "Make some differences," for my tone of voice, facial expressions, and movements. Looking at the script, it's obviously different. But, when I tried playing the role, it was very difficult. Shingo becomes possessed by Ankh in the first episode, so we don't know much about his personality. His younger sister (Hina Izumi, played by Riho Takada-chan) is worried about him, so we know he's a good older brother, but, I think he's actually more of a troublesome brother, which is why his sister is so strong (laugh). I'm looking forward to finding out what kind of person Shingo is through Hina.
I'm still struggling with Ankh. The only thing I've clearly decided on, is to make him a "beloved monster." This was also brought up by Director Tasaki. Ankh's ideas and actions are pretty mischievous. One example is in episode 2, when he ate some popsicles, saying the reason was he wanted to, "Get some nourishment" (laughs). I'm sure that if I play the role without hesitating, my character will be loved by everyone. I wonder if Ankh will become more like a human by being with Eiji, or if a monster will always stay a monster…..I can't wait to see how things turn out.
Before we started filming, we had 2 rehearsals, but for the first one, time went by and I wasn't really grasping anything……I was certain that everyone was worried and wondering, "Is this guy gonna be okay?" I was so frustrated, that I would watch anime that reminded me of Ankh, I just couldn't stop thinking about him. I began to think that there was more to him than just being a right hand, and that there was a "heart" to him. Then, at the second rehearsal, I was able to get into being Ankh. The Director actually told me, "You're overdoing it" (laughs), but, those words helped me to get rid of any doubts, and I began to understand the "balance" of being Ankh.
-Creating Ankh together-
I'd like to draw your attention to the craftsmanship of Ankh's arm. It's been finely crafted down to the smallest details, and is very beautiful. It made me wonder how great it'd be to design the whole body. I can't tell you what material it's made of, as it's a trade secret (laughs), but, it's so light that I no longer feel uncomfortable wearing it. The index and middle fingers are my own fingers sticking through, so I can make detailed movements.
I've learned alot from Eitoku-san (Suit Actor), who moves Ankh's arm. Even though only his arm is shown in the show, he uses his whole body to express himself to the fullest. Just when I was thinking that I didn't want to be outdone, I had a very happy experience. The scene in the first episode where Ankh possesses Shingo was expressed through my own arm…..When I performed the moment when Ankh enters his arm and takes over, the camera man called Eitoku-san over and said, "Eitoku, this is how the acting should be done." The person who was filming was able to understand my performance. It made me incredibly happy. It made me think, "I can really do it as Ankh!" Through Eitoku-san and Ankh, I'm learning the importance of expressing my thoughts and feelings from the tips of my fingers, toes, and head.
The Director, makeup artists, costume designers, lighting crew……all of their hard work has been positive, and has helped me with becoming Ankh. I'd like to express myself as much as I can so that you can see it in a better way.
As of now, many of the actors are younger than me, but in the past, I'm often the youngest on set. I'd like to view this from the perspective of an older brother…….I want to, but it's abit difficult (laughs). The teen cast members are all so strong, that they often end up helping me out.
I think that (Watanabe) Shu is "free" in a good way. He says things like, "I want to express it in this way," without hesitation. In this world, people tend to hold back by saying, "I can't do this," or, "I can only do this much," but Shu doesn't have such an attitude. That's why I feel good and at ease when we're together. His presence in my life has grown so much, that I feel like we've already been together for a year. The only thing I wish he'd stop talking about, is his favorite manga. Every day when he comes to the set, he asks me, "Miura-kun, have you read this one?" I'm not really into reading manga, so one of my favorite things to say right now is, "Will I last a year….?" (laughs).
I'm grateful for being on such a set where we can have such innocent conversations. I'd like to build a relationship with Shu and all the cast members, so that we can motivate and support each other even during the hardest shoots. I'd like to work with everyone to grow not only within the work, but myself over the next year.
-Miura Ryosuke's Body-
Head: I'm someone that wants to have "fun." I want to take things in a fun direction, and for people to think, "He's smart." I don't want to show my efforts behind the scenes.
Eyes: I may have a hard time looking at people and other things. But, the feeling of taking in everything is always there. Because by doing so, I'll encounter something that'll move my heart.
Mouth: I like talking, but I'm not good at it. I'm often asked, "What was that last part?," because I tend to get carried away and say things too quickly…..
Nose: Like laundry fresh out of the dryer, I like scents that give off a warm feeling (laughs). Sleeping on them is ideal. Floral fabric softeners are the best.
Mind: I've always been stubborn, and I'm very consistent when it comes to my way of thinking. In order for people to understand that, I have to be firm with myself first.
Foot: I'm not slow, but I don't think I'm fast either. I do like to exercise and dance, and I like to just move my body. I'd be happy if I can make use of that in my action scenes.
Ear: I have really good ears. Even when I'm talking to someone, I can hear the conversations of those next to me, and I'll get angry and say, "What'd you say?!" (laughs).
OOO: This is the "start" for me. I'm confident that what I learn here will remain with me for the rest of my life, so I want to make this an important first step for me.

Chapters: 1/1
Word Count: 1896
"Those weren't people, Ash," Eiji says. His voice is quiet, but dark. "Those were monsters. They're not like you and I. They have no compassion or morals. Anyone who would do that to a child, to you? They are not human." Ash wants to scream. At Eiji's naïveté, at the world. At a world that's hurt him in so many ways, so many times. At a world that has people—yes, people—people like Dino and Foxx and Marvin and Kippard and his coach and so many forgotten names, so many cruel people in it. Because regardless of what Eiji thinks, those were people. They were all people. Eiji just doesn't understand quite what evils people are capable of.
A discussion of humanity.

Favourite alien/non-human character, and favourite hero/villain rivalry...
Okay I'm gonna give two answers for the first one because my instinctive answer is a character who /is/ an alien and whose difference from Earth humans is plot-relevant but who /looks/ human and that feels not quite the spirit of the question, so I will precede that answer with one who has an actual inhuman suit form: Ankh
Tumblr media
What can I say? Our beloved bitchy wife learning to feel an emotion one inch at a time. He's fascinating, lovable, lovably hateable, and just like Eiji we'll wait years for him if we have to. Whether he's a bird monster or Miura Ryosuke in blonde curls he's beautiful. And speaking of Miura, I love all his physical acting for Ankh's mannerisms--perching up in trees, doing bird-like threat-display stances, leading with his monster-arm like the brain is in there and not his head, using the method he accesses Shingo's memories as an instinctive gesture for "think"...
Now, favourite human-looking alien: Space Sheriff Annie
Tumblr media
You know, I only just noticed how cheap and crinkly this utility belt is compared to the pretty nice prop guns, lmao. Speaking of physical performance, what a tour de force here. Morinaga Naomi is genuinely one of the finest stunt actors in Toei's history. She puts Shaider to shame in every episode so thoroughly you start to wonder why he's even in the show. (If you wonder why I say this show isn't actually that good despite all the stuff in it I'm constantly raving about...well, the protagonist being nothing doesn't help) This character specifically is the genesis of like half of Spielban, too.
And now, favourite hero/villain rivalry...sentai gives us so many all-timers to to choose from, but I'm gonna have to swerve into:
Gai Kurenai/Juggler
Tumblr media
A divorce so catastrophic it caused the Tunguska event and reshaped the next decade of Ultraman shows. A reconciliation arc that outlived the dropped 10-part saga that was supposed to tell it. Simply no-one is doing it like them.
As always, fuck off Tsupro, getting us all so invested in a man named Jugglus Juggler.

Poor Shouma, he was considered bizarre even by Granute standard.
Shouma was more hobo than Eiji.
Where did he get a change of clothes if all his money went to buy snacks?
Giving Shouma toothbrush was not subtle enough, they used side character to remind the audiences not to eat too much snacks.
I guessed, Shouma mistook snacks for staple foods.
Finally, a character who finished his meal on screen!
He used his super strength on screen all the time, but people only found it shocking but not considered him a monster until they saw his Rider form.
Hanto got a supportive dad. Another plot twist I did not see coming!
So what if he was a foster dad? A dad was still a dad. I think his status as not blood-related was a plus for him.
Now let us hope he was not secretly evil or something.
If he was good, let us hope nothing bad happened to him.
I wished I had my own Gochizo. They were cute, a good listener, and not only they were reliable scouts/spies they could also helped cleaning out the house.
They also happily died for you.
No wonder Stomach logo was a smiling face.
I guessed, Hanto received his transformation device from that researcher. Now, where did he get his own Gochizo? Did he get it from Shouma or the researcher?
Usually, there were two fight scenes per episode. But we only had one fight scene close to the end of episode. The rest of episode was dedicated for drama and character interactions. They even thrown in some development for side characters. The last time I saw this format was in First Phase Heisei Rider.
