Hiya Mr Gaiman!
It's probably unlikely that you'll see this, since ofc you're probably busy rn, but incase you do see this in your inbox but don't have time to answer due to other stuff, i just wanna let you know that i still appreciate you somehow having time to read this lil ask I've sent you! Again, thank you Mr Gaiman!
Anyway, so this would probably sound *kinda* weird in terms of the ask i'm writing to you, but do bear with me!
Ok, so uhh Mr Gaiman, if you were to have the ability to time travel to alternative dimensions/universes, would you go to an alternative universe where Monty Python member Graham Chapman never got throat cancer and was still alive and well and happy in his 80s and living his best life in said alternative universe? If so, why? If not, why?
Again, sorry if it sounds a bit out of league and sorta philosophical in terms of the question for you to answer, Mr Gaiman, but I've been thinking about this for quite a while now and it does make me both happy and emotional to think about if Graham Chapman was still alive today, and if he was still alive today, what kinda projects he would've been in, both in terms of writing and acting? Would Graham still be in contact with the other Pythons? Would Graham probably also have a Tumblr account? (ok that's a bit of a stretch but it's a bit funny to imagine imo).
I certainly think that, if Graham was still alive today, he would've been absolutely happy that same-sex marriage was finally made legal plus many other achievements for LGBTQ+ rights, and that he would've probably gotten legally married to his partner David Sherlock, with the other Pythons being the guests of honour for the wedding ceremony!
I also wonder that, if Graham's adopted son John Tomiczek (who unfortunately died from a heart attack in 1992) were to also live, would've Graham finally become a grandpa/great-grandpa?
Idk, it's just some thoughts that I've been thinking about. Thoughts about the many upon many possibilities of Graham doing lots of stuff today if he were still alive. Things he *would've* and *could've* have had the opportunity to do......that is.....if the universe didn't decide to be a dickhead one day and give Graham throat cancer for no absolute reason, and to make it hurt even more, have him pass away on the eve before the 20th Anniversary of "Monty Python's Flying Circus" airing on the 5th October, 1989.....
Again, I understand if you can't be able to answer rn due to other stuff, but I thought I'd ask you this rather hypothetical (rather philosophical of sorts) question cuz I have been thinking about it for quite a while now, and I wanted to hear your personal thoughts on this hypothetical AU situation!
Thanks Mr Neil Gaiman ❤️
It's a lovely idea. I never knew Graham (although I've met most of the other Pythons, and am friends with Terry Gilliam). I like thinking of worlds in which wonderful people didn't die.

Why Sydney should leave to open her own place
Tumblr media
I am gonna list my reasons from the least to the most significant, but they are all pretty brutal.
She may be the next Andrea Terry in her way to manage a kitchen, and the culinary world needs that. I want to see Syd doing that; she deserves a reputation and success outside that bear’s kitchen, no more struggle love rewards, I am sorry.
In the real world, only one black woman has ever won a michelling star, her name is Mariya Moore-Russell, and she is from Chicago, so the series could do something really special if Sydney gets a star.
The bear may collapse due to the reckless expenses they had and Cicero's money situation, and it is better if she is not legally tied to that shit.
Sydney deserves to give her father a better living/heathcare situation and this may be the only way to do it for a while.
Syd needs to find and respect her own vision outside Carmys standards. She keeps thinking that he is more talented than her, and he may be, but she will never surpass her limits if everything that needs to be approved or defined by him. I particularly like the idea of Carmy eating the best meal of his life at Sydney’s restaurant. I cannot emphasize this enough, but women’s ambitions are always secondary to men’s in most narratives; her name in the culinary industry deserves to be engraved on her own merits, not on Carmy’s tail. She will only believe how great she is on her own if she sees it with her own eyes.
This is a personal preference, thinking of their possible future together. Syd needs to know that she can leave. I have no doubt she has feelings for Carmen, she needs to understand she can go, so if they ever get involved romantically, she will know that loving him has his limts. Think of Bones when Temperance kicked Booth out of the house because of his addiction. She said, “I love you, but until you figure out your shit, I don't wanna be with you.”
But more than anything, because Carmy said he won't be doing cooking without her, and I want to see how far that is true, even if he heals from his abuse (from his former ec) even if he gets his family and even Claire back, I want to see how he will react to that missing piece that he has been relaying on the whole show. It may the last straw to him recognizing how fucked up he is mentally. There is a reason the show started when they met.
Of course, she will still be part of the main narrative and always be in Carny’s mind. I want to see glimpses of this new life, her new team, and maybe be involved with Luca. Her new recipes, a tribute to her origins.
It doesn't have to be a permanent thing either, give Carmy a year of therapy and we can talk terms and conditions.
I may be wrong of course, let me know what you think.

Body a Day #9: School
Being the out and proud art teacher at a high school deep into the Bible belt wasn’t easy, but Manuel ‘Manny’ Martinez did his best to make it work. Although he knew that his hometown wasn’t perfect, he simply had too many roots here to let it all go. And it wasn’t all that bad. Despite some glares from a few of the parents here and there, Manny made sure to with Pride; Pride not for himself, but for all the students that lived closeted and unsure of themselves.
Tumblr media
Because of that, Manny tried to petition to the principal, Harrison Hayden, regarding a Gay-Straight Alliance for the students to have. “You’re quite tenacious, Mr. Martinez,” said Principal Hayden, looking quite unimpressed. “This is… what, the fifth or sixth time you’ve asked me to allow your gay club?”
Manny didn’t miss the way that Principal Hayden always used ‘Mr. Martinez.’ He called just about every other member of that by their first name. However, Manny didn’t allow that to bother him. “Well, it’s not really a ‘gay club.’ It’s more a place for students of all types to come together and—” He was cut off as Principal Hayden cleared his throat and then talked about how much the parents of the student body would protest such a club and cause a scene.
Manny tried to explain the marginalized students, but it was soon clear that Hayden wasn’t going to listen.
That night, he mentioned the whole ordeal to his partner and husband, Terry. “I have to admit,” said Manny between spoonfuls of spicy spaghetti, “This was the most PC way anyone has even told me, ‘No way faggot,’ before.”
Terry clicked his tongue. “Piece of shit, principal,” he muttered as he wound up about half his spaghetti onto his fork. “Straights just can’t comprehend the situation not only being all about them.”
Manny nodded but shrugged. He wasn’t sure what to do know. There were plenty of students that had expressed interest, but Principal Hayden didn’t seem to think they were worth considering in comparison to the rest of the school. “If only there was a way to change his mind… or just changing the principal.”
“Hmm… well, there might be a way for me to pull a few strings,” said Terry. As he hummed in thought, Manny felt chills run down his spine as he saw a familiar and maniacal grin.
“Terry, no.”
“Oh, c’mon! As if you even know what I’m thinking.”
“I don’t need to be a mind-reader to know that it’s insane. Don’t you remember what happened last time? I still have nightmares.”
“Like you didn’t enjoy me giving you that boning,” said Terry. Last Thanksgiving, Terry had offered to use some kind of technological app to allow the couple to shapeshift for the long weekend. Unfortunately, due to some kind of glitch in the program, Terry and Manny ended up turning into dogs for a few days. It was only by some divine miracle that they didn’t end up as fixed or female dogs, according to Terry. “Point is!” said Terry, motioning to move on with the conversation, “This time, I’m gonna do a test run to make sure that my little app works properly. Trust!”
Without waiting for Manny’s response, Terry rose from his seat and rushed over to his study—completely forgetting that it was his turn to do the dishes. “Never marry a programmer,” sighed Manny, but he still couldn’t help but smile. That manic look in his eyes, the excitement in his voice… Manny couldn’t help but love all of it. It was pretty hot, too.
Terry spent the rest of the night in his study, only coming out as Manny, clad in just a pair of boxers, was preparing for bed. Before Terry said anything, Manny walked over to his dresser and handed him a glass of water.
“Oh, thanks!” said Terry before gulping it down. “Hey, how’d—”
“Every time you lock yourself in your study you always forget to eat and drink,” said Manny, chuckling.
Terry smiled, almost swooning. “You know me so well, honey. So, ready for the test run?”
“Test run?”
“Yeah. Don’t worry, I promise I’ll be the only doing the dangerous stuff,” he said, practically bouncing from foot to foot in excitement. When Terry was that excited, Manny found himself having a hard time rejecting him. Eventually, the couple shut off the lights and cuddled together in bed. For whatever reason, Terry hadn’t elaborated, but just insisted that they go to bed like normal. “You’ll see, just watch!”
Manny lied on his side and waited. He was the smaller spoon even though he was physically larger. But after a few minutes, Terry eventually drew back. “Hmm…? Terry?” Just before Manny looked back, he felt some kind of slimy tentacle-like creature force itself into his mouth. “Hmm?! Mm—!” Mmffm!” He tried to struggle, but found his limbs felt heavy and almost completely unresponsive.
Just what was happening? What was wrong with Terry and why did this feel so right? Manny wasn’t sure what Terry had planned, but he couldn’t help but enjoy that wonderful feeling of being penetrated. It was usually him being the top while Terry would hum or just get distracted, so allowing Terry to take the lead was a nice change of pace… whatever this was.
It truly felt as though something was robbing every part of Manny. First, the control over his fingers and toes disappeared first. Then, his legs and arms became numb as a warm yet foreign feeling engulfed his writhing body. It was like soaking in a hot spring or getting a massage by an expert masseur. “Ohh… oh god, Terry, don’t stoooop…!” Manny writhed and trembled on the bed with such intensity that he was worried his brain would short-circuit.
As Terry’s essence finally became coating Manny’s brain, Manny peeled away his boxers and began to jerk himself off. “Ohhh, it feels so good!” It was like making love together for the first time. Terry’s essence filled each crevice and wrinkle, lighting up each and every single one of Manny’s pleasure centers with such intensity that Manny’s vision went white. “OHHH, FUCK!” Manny’s hips thrust high into the air, cum rocketing out of his barely-touched cock as Manny happily became a passenger in his own body.
What had occurred was nothing short of miraculous for the young couple. Panting, they lied, together in Manny’s body, on the bed that they had each called home so many times. A slight sheen of sweated coated Manny’s face and chest, but neither of them minded. No, there was something comfortable about lying in one’s own natural musk.
Eventually, using Manny’s voice, Terry said, “Y’know our plan for tomorrow, right?” Manny, somehow knew exactly what was running through Terry’s mind. No words needed to be shared, Terry was just indulging in the subtle yet pleasurable joys of using Manny’s voice as his own. They shared one heart, one mind, and one body. It was almost depressing, for both of them, to even think about separating.
“But for tonight, we can be like this,” said both Terry and Manny. They hugged themselves and enjoyed the feeling of softly humping the sheets as they peacefully slumbered.
The following day went about as expected. “I’d like to just have a quick word afterschool,” said Terry with a smile that looked uncanny on Manny’s softer face. Principal Hayden didn’t seem to notice or care and just gave him a weary, “Sure.
“But, Mr. Martinez, I really doubt that you’ll be able to change my mind,” he said.
“I wouldn’t be too sure of that, sir,” said Terry, and inside Manny couldn’t help but chuckle.
Terry was at the principal’s door as the final bell rang. He slipped inside without knocking, a pool of Terry’s essence already filling up Manny’s mouth. “Mr. Martinez, can’t you at least knock?!” was the last thing Principal Hayden was able to say before a dark tendril shot its way into his mouth. With the waning control over Manny’s body he had left, Terry shut the door behind him to make sure no one could hear Hayden’s struggles.
Principal Hayden’s back curled into a C and his thighs quivered as more and more of Terry’s essence invaded his body. The whites of his eyes slowly filled up with that shade of dark as his weighty figure convulsed. Any struggles and moans were muffled thanks to Terry’s entrance.
Soon, all of Terry had flown into Principal Hayden’s mouth with a wet slurp! Manny rested his palms on his knees, panting. Already Terry’s lack of presence in his body weighed heavily on his psyche. It had only been a few seconds, but Manny dearly missed him.
Luckily, if everything worked out, they would be reunited much sooner than later.
Hayden’s body came under Terry’s control much faster than Manny. “Didn’t want to play around?” Manny asked with a smirk.
‘Hayden’ smiled back. “Nah, love,” said Terry as he rolled his shoulders, trying to stretch out a crick. “This body ain’t as cute as yours. But it always feels nice to dominate a homophobic fuck.” The belt became undone, and soon Hayden’s slacks were on the floor. Leaning back, Terry raised Hayden’s legs and rested them on the chair’s armrests. His ass was in full-view, ready to be bred. “Before I approve of your club, Manny,” Terry forced Hayden to say, “I need a bit of convincing. What say you and I talk, man-to-man?”
“Of course, Principal Hayden,” said Manny, unzipping his own jeans and stroking his hardening dick.
Tumblr media

The next day was quite the blur for Principal Hayden. Not only has he apparently approved of Mr. Marti—no, Manny’s GSA club, but he had even given statements regarding the reaction from outraged parents. “All students of all walks of life are welcome in our community,” was his thesis as he spoke to news station that had covered the story.
When had he become so passionate in such a thing? Hayden wondered that to himself as he showered for the night. Strangely enough, it felt like he was waking up from a dream as he showered. Was he disassociating the whole time while he didn’t notice? No, he still remembered doing everything he had done the past few days. It felt like only just now did he realize what he was able to do.
However, one person in Hayden’s life seemed happy with his decision. As Hayden stepped out of the shower, he saw his wife, Natasha, watching the news and looking giddy. “Hey,” she whispered as he took a seat next to her. “Do you remember my sister’s kid? Well, she came out a trans recently. Her name’s Arianna now.” Natasha leaned toward Hayden and rested her head on his shoulder. With her free hand, she rubbed his belly. “Girl keeps talking about how excited she is to attend your school next year.” Natasha kissed Hayden on the cheek. “You did well today, dear. Her and loads of other kids are real happy about what you did.”
Huh, guess I did…
~o~
Manny looked up from his book as he saw Terry saunter in while panting. “What took you so long?” he chuckled as Terry collapsed on the bed.
Voice muffled, Terry answered, “Just had to make sure the bastard didn’t throw you under the bus.” He turned to his side and faced Manny. “I had to make sure he didn’t change his mind last minute or tried to screw you over, but it’s all good now.”
“Why? Did you do something to him?”
“Nah, nothing like that. Just… he realized the lesson that every bigot’s got to at some point: someone y’know’s got a flag of their own.”
“Well said, dear. So, I’m guess you’re far too tired to go at it tonight?” In response, Terry began to snore. Sighing dreamily, Manny cuddled with his husband and pecked him on the lips. “Good night, dear. Thanks for everything.”

Warnings: Murder, manipulation, drugs and violence
Terry Richmond X OC!Marina
__
Tumblr media
__
The collective clink of champagne glasses filled the large venue as self-made millionaire and philanthropist Terry Richmond concluded his speech at the second annual charity event for Black women and children. Thunderous claps and cheers bounced off the walls as he exited the stage and came down to thank each and every single person that had come out to support and donate to the amazing cause. He was elated and proud of the turnout; truly grateful.
At 43 Terry felt at the height of his career. The comings and goings of life reflected well on his face and he carried all those trials and triumphs with him on his sleeve next to his heart. His story was a story of the people.
The night was a huge success. A large volume of high profile people had pledged and donated to this cause right along with him. Close family and friends came out in support and he circled around the room checking in on them and taking breaks to hit a shimmy or two on the dance floor.
He had also allowed some of his favorite black journalists and reporters to give interviews, but he was most interested in one in particular that had been very vocal and fierce about the safety of black children in spaces that society deemed not fit for them. How many times had a black child been harmed or put in a traumatic situation due to racism? Far too many times to count and they deserved a space to perfect their crafts without fear or judgement.
Marina Evans was a woman of poise, integrity, and culture, and at 25 she was at the top of her game. Not many could deny her journalistic credentials. She was the first person he wanted to give an interview to tonight and he sought her out quickly through the sea of people. The bold black gown had been a wondrous choice against her bronzed skin. Honey blond braids highlighting the warm undertones of her skin and dark expressive eyes styled with a natural set of wispy lashes. She was a show stopper. A true beauty.
She had just ended an interview with Weston Troy, a filthy rich middle aged man that owned a few hospitals in the area. Her eyes drifted over to him and she began to set up for his interview. A warm welcoming smile graced her face and he made sure to return it. Cameras and microphone ready, Terry adjusted his black suit and freed his mind.
“Tonight I am here speaking with local philanthropist and founder of ‘Hearts of Grace’ a charity founded to give aid and relief to underprivileged families…and without further ado I’d like to welcome Mr. Terry Richmond. How are you feeling about the turnout tonight… did you project the earnings for year two to surpass year one by so much?”
“ I’m feeling amazing tonight, the turnout was more than I could have ever imagined. When I initially started this charity I had no idea that anyone would ever give money to the cause at such a high volume, it's too often that things within the affiliation of the black community are not taken seriously or into consideration… I would like to change that, and with all the resources at my hand I'd be foolish not to invest it into people who look like me and sound like me.”
“I love that, what you did here tonight was jaw dropping. The kind of things I want to see more of, what does it mean for you to give back and support black families, businesses, and neighborhoods?” He pondered a bit before answering and pulled his lip from his teeth.
“It means that I have an opportunity to cater to and serve these underprivileged families, I too come from very humble beginnings. I grew up in a single parent household, it was just me and my mother so sharing this wealth with many people is top priority.”
“Terry, that is just amazing, I’m excited for more people to hear your story… for you it's been a long time coming, but for many of us this is our first time seeing someone who we relate to so much do as many great things as you have…and that brings me to my next question. How does being a role model to the younger generation speak to you?” Her questions were definitely living up to her reputation, she asked the real shit and he paused to gather his words, this was a passionate subject for him so finding the right words was essential.
“Being a role model for the younger generation entails a particular type of character and finesse… I want them to know that yes hard work and dedication can afford you the luxuries of life, but I also want them to understand that mental health is just as important um..if not more important than any career field or industry they choose.”
“I also saw that you named your charity after your mother Grace, how does it feel tonight to share this with her… I’m sure she is so proud of you.”
“My mother means the world to me…for any time I was ever in trouble or needed her she picked up the phone, she lifted me up, and she molded me into the man I am today. I don’t care how old I get or how many things I achieve, I'll always be her baby.”
“It was such a pleasure to interview you tonight, I thank you so much for taking the time out of your busy schedule to allow me to talk and pick your brain.” Marina had interviewed many men and women of different backgrounds and profiles, but none had ever struck her as truly genuine people quite as he did. He truly meant those words.
“Oh no anytime..you’ve had the best questions I thank you for that. And when I’m ready for another interview I know how to find you, thank you for coming out tonight Ms.Evans I truly appreciate it.” Terry left it plainly at that. He didn’t wanna seem weird by telling the young girl that he was an avid viewer of her podcast and hadn’t missed any episodes thus far.
The night carried on and people filled their bellies to the brim with liquor and a catered banquet of savory mouth watering food. Terry was on his second plate of food and had been cackling loudly in his mothers ear, all tipsy and giggly from the constant glasses of champagne.
“Boy you are just tickled to death ain’t you, what’s so funny son?” He rested his head onto her shoulder and squeezed her into a warm hug.
“I’m just happy ma..that’s it. Tonight turned out amazing and I get to honor you right along with it..I hope you’re proud.”
“Son is proud even the word for what I feel? You make me ecstatic, I hoped and prayed for so many long nights for you to have something…anything to call your own, and look at you now.” Grace pressed a kiss to her son's forehead before standing from her seat.
“Walk your mama to her car, I’m going to turn in for the night.”
Terry walked his mother to her car and watched her disappear into the distance before he walked back into the building. Standing with his hands in the pockets of his smooth slacks, he surveyed the area with calm eyes. He was looking for someone. Ahh there she is. Honey blond braids swaying gently behind her as she rocked in her chair to the music. Headed in her direction he grabbed a freshly poured glass of champagne from the table and handled the delicate glass in his hands carefully.
Cognac eyes met his as he finally made it into her line of vision. “Champagne? I wasn’t aware you were still here Ms.Evans.” Her pretty manicured hand accepted the drink from him and she sipped a little before answering him.
“Yeah I guess I’m a bit of a recluse…I prefer to fade into the background at events like these. Sometimes it’s better to just watch.” Terry hummed in his throat before taking a seat in front of her crossing his left leg over his right.
“And on that point we do agree…for causes such as these I can show up no questions asked, otherwise I’m home nose deep in a good podcast.” His deep rumbling laugh coaxed a cute chuckle from her mouth.
She sipped a little more of the sweet champagne before she answered him. ”Oh wow me too , so you have a favorite one you listen too?”
“Yes…yours. It’s the only one I can sit through and enjoy without a missed episode. You’re great at what you do Ms.Evans…very captivating topics.” Terry watched a hand press to her chest in shock as her mouth fell in shock.
“You watch lil ole’ me, wow Terry I really appreciate that. And I try to make things interesting as well as informative… I'm happy it reaches you well.”
“There’s nothing little about the work you do, remember that.” Maria shyly tilted her head to the side, peeking up into his face from under her lashes.
”Thank you so much Terry, you have the kindest eyes by the way…sorry if that was weird.” He dropped his head and let his eyes lock onto hers and watched her skin heat up under his gaze.
“No no, not weird at all. I receive that..thank you beautiful.”
Terry enjoyed picking her head for the reminder of their time together. By 9pm the event had wrapped and everyone filed out of the large double doors to head home. Terrys large hand graced the small of her back not wanting to lose her in the crowd of people, he hated that their time was cut short because he had really enjoyed chatting with the smart woman.
“Did you drive here?” He looked down at her once they’d made it outside, the middle of people around them creating the perfect bubble for tj to talk.
“Mhmh I did.. I’m right over there, the black Acura.” Her dainty finger pointed at the sleek Acura suv that was coincidentally parallel parked behind his Manhattan Green BMW X6.
“ I’ll walk you..we’re parked right by each other.” Her heels clicked against the dark asphalt and she let a yawn escape her pretty lips.
“Tired Ms.Evans? Sorry to keep you so late, I’m sure you have other obligations.”
“Mhm it’s all the food and champagne getting to me, and no please don’t apologize I had such a nice time tonight… thank you again for extending an invitation to me.” The two stopped in front of her suv and it had Terry wishing he could turn back time.
“And miss an opportunity to talk to the gorgeous and seriously intelligent Marina Evans… not a chance. Thank you for your support, and drive safe.” He helped her step into her vehicle before he closed her door and watched her leave before pulling out his phone to make a call.
“Yeah she just left..keep close to the plan and do exactly what I told y’all to do. I find out you niggas did anything other than what I asked…yall are finished.” He hung up the phone and hopped into his car heading to his house. He knew what he was doing was fucked up, but rarely did Terry ever not get what he wanted. Only this time he wanted Marina Evans and he was willing to stage whatever freak incident he could think of to appear as the white shining knight in her story.
The contemporary home was a perfect mix of neutral earth times and dark greys. Features within the home had donned it with eco friendly and smart house features putting it at a price point of a whopping 1.2 million dollars. A price point Terry would pay and then some for a house that was exclusive to him. The story he told the public about his upbringing was slightly altered and fabricated. The money was only halfway clean, but his appearance needed to be crystal. No past offenses or charges, no run-ins with the police, and no witnesses.
He put people in the dirt for a living and that was just the true facts. The true underground king with an empire spanning throughout the states.A dr. Jekyll and Hyde if you will. The boogeyman. An assassin with the precision to kil. Right now his cousins were ransacking the cute little craftsman style house that belonged to Marina Evans. A sick way of pushing her into his arms he knew but having her would make it all worth the risk.
A new obsession had squirmed its way into Terrys head one night during a masturbation session. The video practically screamed out at him and he had nutted enough that night to fill the Mississippi River; twice, his eyes were glued to the computer screen as he watched the younger woman be pumped full of grown mature dick. The idea had crossed his mind plenty of times, something young and hot to trick on and fuck whenever he wanted to. It seemed maybe he’d be getting his wish sooner or later.
__
Paranoia and fear gripped Marina in the coming days after the charity ball. When she had made it home and into her driveway that night she knew something was off. The linen curtains that lined her French doors to her kitchen blew in the night winds, signaling the doors had been smashed. Eyes wide with fear and shock she held her hand over her mouth in disbelief. She frantically dialed 911 to report a burglary. Her house was a mess, picture frames broken and everything rummaged through. The following nights she spent in the guest room at her moms house, too afraid to sleep in her own house.
She had called into the local newspaper that she worked for letting them know of her unfortunate situation. Work would have to be put on the back burner for a few days right along with her podcast episode. She was still practically new to this neighborhood having only just closed on her home two months prior. It was a quiet safe neighborhood, and all her neighbors had kindly welcomed her into it. But now she wasn’t so sure about it being safe. What if she had been home When this happened, would she have lived to tell the tale?
She felt hopeless and the police had no leads yet. What was life without a curveball? She was currently wrapped up in her mothers guest room
sick with the flu. Coughs and sniffles were the soundtrack of life right now and the pungent smell of Lysol was in the air. She had no appetite and a slight migraine sat at her temples, and yet her phone began to ring excessively loud into her ear.
|“Hello?” She was sure she sounded as stuffy as she looked.
|”Marina..hey sweetheart it’s Terry. I called as soon as I heard the bad news, I’m so sorry.” His deep voice sounded apologetic over the phone and she had almost forgotten the exchanging of numbers almost a week ago at the charity event.
[-My uncle works at the police department..he mentioned your name and burglary in the same sentence and I just had to call and check in on you. I hope I’m not overstepping.
[-No not at all I appreciate you calling me..um yeah it hasn't been the best week for me so far it’d be better if I could find out who did this to my house…and now I’m sick with the flu.She heard shuffling and muffled talking on his end and she sat up further on the headboard of the bed.
[-Let me send you something Marina, a little get well soon basket…if that’s okay with you I can have my assistant drop it to you. Marina pondered a bit, and honestly what was the harm in accepting it?
[-I don’t know Terry, I couldn’t ask you to do that. One day you'll have to let me repay you back for your kindness.
[-I insist, and pay me back in good health.. and let me take you out some time when you’re feeling better. Some time had lapsed and he had seriously caught her off guard with the question.
[-Marina? You don’t have to give me an answer right now… my ego can handle it, trust me.
[-Sometime when I’m better definitely, I’m completely in the dumps right now..but I could definitely use that basket if it’s still on the table.
[-It is..I’ll get my assistant to contact you and get everything delivered to you. Get well Marina I’ll talk to you soon.
The call ended and she finally felt some strength in her to get up and tend to herself. Her braids had been in her bonnet for the last 48 hours and her face looked drained of all her color. She definitely wasn’t in any shape to look Terry’s handsome ass in his face. Her moms house was quiet, and she knew her mother wouldn’t be home from the hospital until 7 that evening so trying to get better was definitely the plan for the next few hours.
As he said, Terry had his assistant message her about her location to send the basket. It arrived well packaged with an aroma that was clearing her nasal passage. Two dozen crimson red roses and a large woven basket was on the front porch waiting for her in less than an hour. She hurriedly sat it on her mothers dining table and pulled the contents from the basket. Each item she was excited to use. Multiple face masks to bring back the color to her face, an expensive looking full body massager, a cozy pajama set, and a container of chicken noodle soup that was still piping hot from the deli uptown.
“How freaking sweet, now these are gifts worth having for sure.”
She sent a picture over to Terry letting him know that everything was revived with the highest appreciation. He hearted her message but didn’t send back a written reply.
__
“Didn’t I tell you to stay out my fucking city?!” Terry let his bloodied fist fly into the man’s face for a third time, he winced and shook his hand quickly before his phone vibrated in his pocket. A picture from Marina showing him the basket had made it to her and would be used gratefully. But she'd have to wait. Terry was in his mode. The kill a nigga and ask questions later mode, he had two run ins prior to this one with the same pesky ass excuse for a human being.
“Pass me my shit, I’m ending this. Motherfuckers need to know that I don’t speak twice.” The heavy gun was laid in his hand and he screwed on the silencer. The man in front of him cried and begged for his life, but time was out for him.
“Mario Brown…I’m sentencing you to death for not obeying the nigga that owns you.” A quick pull of the trigger put a silver bullet right through his head. His crew needed no words as they immediately rolled the body into a tarp to be burned.
Terry shrugged off his suit using it to wipe the blood from his face and neck. He had a warehouse stacked to the brim with cocaine that needed to make it to El Paso, Texas. Terry wasn’t a cliche in the world of drugs, he chose the mafia life willingly; it didn’t choose him. It was all he knew and it was all he’s ever done outside of his coverups, that consisted of real estate and stocks. All three things he needed to know the ins and outs of to keep up the facade. He was no good person and he was no angel. He maneuvered through this life cunning and forcefully, and yet he did so with grace.
Drugs had afforded him the type of access he wanted in life. A payroll full of law enforcement, cars and houses, and the baddest bitches on the continent. But he was getting older and more irritable with it all, and that was bad for business. A man that stayed irritated was a man bad for business, he had stacked and put so much money away his grandchildren’s grandchildren would be rich. And yet having all he had he still longed for a woman to call his, someone to marry and give his last name and kids too. Marina Evans was what he wanted-no needed, and he would pull out any stop to have her.
His clothes would be a pile of ash by the time he finished using the warehouse shower, black and purple bruises littering his back and side from a recent brawl with a new business partner who would ultimately be his way out. He didn’t believe the old heads that told him he only had one way out of this kinda life, he refused to put that shit on himself. Death was not the only way out, past men just didn’t have his sharp mindset and it showed because they all rested eternally in cemeteries.
His matte black Range Rover practically drove itself home. He was worn out and needed food and sleep. Public speakings to keep the wool over the public’s eye and the night time escapades that always ended in a dead body or two lying around, were getting the best of him. For the next month he planned to pull back from the public slowly but surely, only popping out to speak when absolutely necessary. The only person he cared to be around was her. What a fucking joke. Terry knew better about this situation and still refused to do better, he wanted what he wanted. Marina… Just the sound of her name rolling off his tongue enticed him and his dick had jumped multiple times in his pants when she complimented him at the ball.
A pretty lil thing with a good head on her shoulders and outside of wanting to put her through his mattress he was actually genuinely intrigued by her. And when he finally laid down it was her pictures and voice that invaded his privacy so badly he stalked all her socials. Her vibrant colorful pictures on her Instagram page pulled a smile from him, such an interesting girl.
__
The next morning came to Terry in peace. No nightmares and no tossing and turning, he felt well rested above all else and the pain he felt from his bruised body had subsided and drowned out without painkillers. His morning routine came effortlessly and he ended it all with a 30 minute meditation to thoroughly decompress his body to prepare for his day.
He scarfed down a savory bagel sandwich and washed it down with his herbal tea. His agenda for the day was light as planned, he was to be kept updated on the whereabouts of his drugs every hour on the hour and not a second late. A large sum of money was headed his way if shit went smoothly.
His fingers itched to message Marina; so he did. He wanted another try at seeing her. To his surprise she had responded quickly and said she was feeling well enough to meet at her house. She spoke of wanting to replace the broken glass on her French doors so he dressed casually and responded letting her know he’d see her shortly.
His Ford Raptor rounded the block into a cute quaint neighborhood. Children rode their bikes and sprayed each other with water hoses as their parents watched, and the background noise of barking dogs made it all full circle. He spotted Marina’s suv quickly and pulled in alongside it in her driveway. Getting out he noticed her still sitting inside and tapped on her window lightly.
“Hi Terry… I know I look weird still sitting in here. I’m just scared to go alone.” She gave him a bashful smile and opened her driver side door. Black biker shorts showing off her thick thighs and plush lower half, had him shaking his head. A Tupac graphic tee shirt and white sneakers completed her looks and her neat braids rested atop her head in a tight bun.
“Come on I’ll go with you, nobody will mess with you while I’m here I promise.” She obliged and walked side by side with him to the side of her house where the doors were. Terry measured where the glass was supposed to be and got the measurements for replacements and let the tape measure shoot back into itself before turning to Marina.
“I have a guy that does this kind of work. I'll get in contact with him for you. No cost to you, but for now I’d say invest in security cameras…they’ll bring you a good peace of mind.”
“Will do, that’s not even out of the question anymore… thank you for extending this kind of generosity to me.”
A smirk graced his face as he stared down at her, hands itching to touch her. “Let’s get lunch and you can thank me all you want afterwards.” He helped her up into his truck with a hand on her waist, green eyes going wide at her ass in his face, and on his way around the truck he was silently praying to god.
She was definitely chatty when she got comfortable, but he didn’t mind listening. They filled their bellies with Korean bbq and sushi and Terry was still ordering appetizers.
“Please no more, are you trying to stuff me?” In more ways than one he thought to himself, he just loved watching her eat. When she tried something new amongst the appetizers she hit a little happy dance if she liked it. They had ate their fill in food with plenty to bring home, Terry paid the bill and carried their Togo bags and she kept up beside him sipping quietly on her lychee tea. His phone buzzed in the console a few times and he ignored it knowing it was about his shipment, he would get to it when she was no longer around.
“Do you need to get that… am I intruding or something? You can let me know, I’m sure you’re practically booked and busy. Please don’t let me hold you up.”
“They can wait, you’re more important right now.” She turned slightly in her seat and her cognac eyes held his for what felt like hours. And she leaned closer into his space, holding that eye contact.
“You have the most beautiful eyes… they just seem never ending.” His stare intensified and he watched her smile dreamily at him, whatever effect he thought he had on her had been confirmed.
“You keep complimenting me like that and I’ll start to think you got a little crush on me Ms.Evans.”
“Would that be so bad…me liking you?” He shook his head and tucked a braid back into her bun fingers slowly grazing her neck. How bold of her,
“Only if I didn’t like you back.” He smirked and rubbed his fingers against her open palm watching her fingers twitch slightly. “You’re an amazing woman Marina… I’ve been interested in you for a while, but things just didn’t make sense then.” He thought back to a few months ago when he had initially intended on meeting her but he was busy trying to wipe a whole bloodline out at the time and that was time consuming.
Her eyes danced around his face as she listened to him intently, and his right hand rose to her chin to focus them, letting her lean into him to initiate a kiss. But she put her hands up pulled back slowly.
“But Terry what if-“
“Shh.. put your hands down and let it happen, let me in.”
His hands found her face and he pressed his lips to hers in a rush. Her tongue tasted sweet from her drink and the strawberry flavored lip gloss had him sucking her lips into his mouth like a savage. She gripped his shirt and he pulled her into him with a hand on her waist hand rubbing along her back soothingly, chest to chest heads turning left to right to increase the experience. He pulled away from her reluctantly and brought a hand to his lips to kiss.
“Give me a chance to court you and prove myself…if you don’t like what I offer you, then that’ll be it and I won’t bother you again, but if you do..I have so much to show you.”
“A deal is a deal Mr.Richmond..let the games begin.”

I really like the Batfam time travel fanfic, and the future itself is not a straight line; like in the comics where we saw Batman!Tim as evil. So despite all the futures that the Batfamily has seen, they will never expect to have a good future where their family, despite adversity, is still united. The time traveler on this occasion would be Terry McGinnis who was on a mission that was more than it seemed and managed to take refuge with the Batfamily of the present. Let's say that misunderstandings happen, more because Terry can't reveal things from the future so maybe he says things halfway (he could have let them slip) that can be interpreted as the family being fragmented, that Damian became the demon head or that even Tim has gone crazy and has become the Joker (The incident of the return of the Joker happens as in the canon, the truth is Tim could have DID as you mentioned in some question; I have read that it is a treatable mental illness without a cure and they can live a normal life depending on the patient, why throwing him into Arkham without further ado would feel like they simply abandoned him)
So the bad guys on duty are creating their plan (Maybe a way to eradicate the bat clan from the roots? but now I would have to go where Terry is) And suddenly the batfamily of the future appears to the rescue, but they are not alone, members that they have never seen also appear (will new vigilantes appear over time? The children of the batkids/grandchildren/great-grandchildren of bruce/alfred from the future? who knows…) and then they get defeated and taken back to their time… the older generation stays behind for a while to see the new batman; the present batfam expects to see conflict and discord between them, especially from Tim and Damian (Tim for the aforementioned and Damian apparently wears the demon head clothes… actually let's just say Tim and Damian had a very… explosive brotherly bond… and he got to keep things) but in the end all is well they were just worried about their second youngest brother (Matt McGinnis was with them as Robin). You see these elderly Batkids are quite united with their own more than ever and their bonds are strong, their bodies filled with scars that they have never had or would have (Also to note that in the BB comics Dick lost his left eye) they looked like veteran soldiers… no… they looked like they were great warriors who have overcome all adversity. Maybe even some old relationships have become stronger… Timsteph
And they are grateful that one of their own was taken care of and they go back home…
Hi 👋 I was so excited when I saw Terry as the one doing the time traveling. Idk enough about him, but I still adore him. He's hilarious and witty and just the right touch of sardonic from what I've seen of his interactions with Joker!Tim.
Anyways, you are absolutely correct that Tim should feel abandoned if his family just sticks him in Arkham after the JJ incident. Whether or not Tim does have DID or a related disorder (and friendly reminder that these disorders often get incorrect/inadequate/harmful characterizations so I refrain from detailing anyone as such. Also, no diagnosis can make someone "good" or "bad" [particularly indicating APSD, NPD, or other villainized conditions]), his struggles could represent someone with DID or related disorders. I say he may not have it due to the chip or whatever injecting him with Joker's personality. Since it's not natural, I'm not sure it qualifies even if it functionally affects him like such.
Regardless, him being shucked off to Arkham would feel like being abandoned. Although every single situation is different, I imagine Tim would have the energy and mental capacity to work with his affliction to lead a relatively independent life (and this is no shade to anyone who doesn't have this capacity and may require long-term hospitalization).
I got side tracked. Let's continue! I would love AUs where Damian becomes the Demon Head but still maintains a friendly relationship with his family (particularly if he reforms the LoA to focus more on their OG goals over world domination/murder).
For the scenario you're describing, let me make sure I'm understanding correctly:
Terry goes back into the past to strengthen family bonds w/o telling them
During a major battle, more future batfam travel to the past
Due to Terry's interfering, this batfam is closer than Terry's was
There are also a lot more of them due to batkids starting their own families
Damian and Tim in particular are vastly different and concerned about each other
The different Bats chat with each other for comparison's sake
Terry goes home with these Bats
I'm curious if Terry's memories get rewritten or get additional memories to account for how much has changed when he goes back

how i think txt would react if their female best friend sat on their lap
Tumblr media Tumblr media
requested!
YEONJUN...
oh my god totally bitchless behavior coming in within 0.4 seconds
like this man will stop functioning, like is it normal to have your hands on the side?
tries to strike a pose
like daniel,, bby you're embarrassing yourself
swear he thinks he's like aha so fine
might lean back to play it cool
but you know he stiff as hell
like basically it's that dad pose when you know you've disappointed him and you're about to sit with him in a dark living room to soak in the immeasurable shame you've brought to the family.
his undergarment is drenched from stress sweats
might actually start stuttering
pls get off him before his dry sex life makes him pop a boner and the friendship gets ruined for life.
SOOBIN...
his head starts overheating due to overthinking the moment you sit on his lap like
the only two option were the floor where beomgyu spilled his drink or any of the dudes lap and he's your bestie boo so ofc you'd pick him
right?
tries to gaslight himself into thinking it's fine
like sure this shit is fine and it's normal to sit on each others laps.
but inside his head there are 4 tabs open, two of them are having a debate on the pros and cons of having your best friend on your lap and other two are playing tiktok random hits and he doesn't know which one he should tune in to
for the peace of his own mind, he tries to sit on your lap the next time
tit for tat he says.
BEOMGYU...
starts acting like you are crushing his thighs
he knows you playing so he's like aha two can play the game
girl you really thought you will outdo the doer
the og mr. mood breaker?
will straight up start moaning in your ears
starts squirming and whining like
'oooof my thighs are so fragile,'
does not give two cents about the place he is in
or the situation
or what people will assume
if soobin is the overthinker, beomgyu rarely thinks
its like his brain just takes off in a rush and it's taken over by the sheer need to annoy the fuck out of his bestie.
he's like the fly you can't just quite swat away
literally starts doing his own echo moan from one ear to another
you have to admit the defeat and get up on your own.
TAEHYUN...
will not straight up push you off him.
but the look he gives you, he might as well just put in the physical effort and do it.
his face is like, 'you did this for what?'
'why not?'
'why though?'
tries to get used to you sitting on him
like its chill
you're his bestie and he's a gym goer
so it does work out nicely
but the thing is like,
your back is blocking his vision
like its all chill and cute in movies but irl your sight will definitely get blocked and it has nothing to do with the person's height!
he tries to adjust so that he doesn't need to kick you off of him
and hurt your feelings or something
man is here jumping through hoops to seem effortless in order to continue his debate with hyuka about the importance of the balance between peanut butter and jelly in the sandwich
you see his struggle and move over on your own with a new found respect for terry the terrance taehyun kang
HUENING KAI...
he's looking at your head like, hmm you kinda sus
but that lasts like a whole lot of ten seconds before he's like nothings even on him
although he tries to smell the top of your head like what is the difference between a baby's head and an adult's crown
he is a curious little crow, it's one of his charms
makes a quick mental note to break it to you gently that you might need to take a lil bit more hygiene care on the top of your head.
he leans back
unlike yeonjun the daniel choi, he's fr chill
also man's broad as hell
he's like meant to be a chair at this point
you can lean in as much as you want on him and you know he would fine with anything
like he barely feels you on him anyway
you can probably just lean back on him and he'd cradle you like his first born
just maybe not kiss the top of your head
but he finally got an idea what to gift you on your birthday!
so it all worked out for the best!

mickey milkovich rich bitch headcanons
Tumblr media
song rec for fic:
youtube
Warnings:Terry Milkovich
A/N: hii. I kinda might have sort of quit writing? I don't know anymore, but right now I'm not writing anything unless it's requested!
Pairing: Mickey Milkovich x reader, a tiny bit of Mandy Milkovich x reader
requested? By Anonymous,May I please request headcanons for mickey from Shameless about him having a Northside girlfriend? She kinda of ditzy(but smart in her own way) and she's sweet and posting his bail(her parents are rich or she got inheritance or whatever) whenever he's gets arrested for assaulting whoever is flirting with her. Also she's cool with Fiona and always gives her and Debbie her old clothes whenever she goes shopping. Ps she's always invited Fiona and V to go shopping"
Headcannons under the cut
× You and Micky met through Mandy, having met Mandy at school, and bonded through having shitty families.
× Mandy brought you by the house, and unsurprisingly Mickey hated you immedietly. The way your hair was so damn shiny, the way your clothes fit you oh so perfectly, and the way your jewelry fitted your personality so well.
× He only ever figured out your home situation when he heard you late on night, talking with Mandy after a particularly hard fight with your parents, and after that you two were stuck together at the hip
× The first time you agreed to go out with Mickey, you two went for a walk and talked, not very romantic i know, but I feel like Mickey would much rather take a walk with you then be stuck in a stuffy restaurant where he had to dress all fancy.
× When you were walking with him,and a guy comes up to you and flirts, you not realizing, thinking he was just being nice and basic waving off all his advances,so naturally Mickey beats the shit out of him.
× When you posted his bail, you immedietlg scolded him for getting blood on your new skirt,to which he apologized with butterfly kisses and play fights.
× All of the times you went shopping,he always hated going, but would go anyways, because you were going, and he always wanted you near him.
× When youd buy a new perfume,if he hated the smell, you never wore it again, due to him mostly just smelling you 24/7 when you guys cuddled.
× I feel like when he first heard you were giving Debbie your clothes,he'd complain,he'd bitch,he'd be flabbergasted as to why you wanted to give away clothes. He never had that connection with them,so he never understood how you did.
× Then you two were in bed,he never wanted to actually do anything, with you, surprisingly he was okay with waiting, and just spending hours talking.
× Once you guys actually did it,he was so loving afterwards, massaging your legs so you weren't sore, pressing kisses to your sweaty body, and helping you shower when you could barely stand.
× The first time you ever met Terry he mistaked you for his dead wife, and Mickey immedietly dropped in,protecting you and beating the shit out of his father.
× Surprisingly, when Terry wasn't a drunk Jerkoff (so barely ever) you two actually got somewhat along. He reminded you of your dad, which, made you immedietly want to curl up and cry.
× Before you and Mickey got together, you always hung out with Mandy, sharing everything,a lot of people thought you two were gay,to which you immedietly said no,and that you were straight. You and Mandy might have flirted a little, but it was all friendly, and never actually meant.
× Of course that all stopped the minute you got with Mickey
×Mickey dreamed about getting the hell out of Southside, and thankfully, you had the money to help with that.
× You two bought a little house outside of the city.

If Terrys beloved is a single mum would he still pursue her and would he be a good step parent and father.
Tumblr media
---
The agenda is quite simple, really:
Claim what he wants; namely, beloved.
They so happen to come in tow with a child from a previous relationship?
Alright then...change of plan. Adapt and overcome.
Ensure that kid loves, admires and adores him far more than they ever would their actual biological dad (and even the biological dad's extended family) through a combination of everything including expensive gift giving, subtle manipulations, enabling, love bombing, sweet talking and utilizing the means of whatever conditioning tool proves most fruitful given the situation. Beloved's his now. They belong to him. By extension, their kid will belong to him too and so will everything pertaining to beloved because he doesn't suffer competition behind that saintly facade he puts on. What's best, they'll never even realize what's happening because he won't let them realize.
Impress, draw further in and endear beloved further through just how much their child warmed up to him, making distancing oneself, as if though that was ever an option on the table in the first place, only the more difficult with each passing day, because you wouldn't break Billy's heart by putting a wedge between us now, would you? And if an attempt is ever made, of course the kid in question will naturally rebel on their own, as kids often do, making Terry's job easy for him, because beloved would not only be taking away a dad figure once, she will be doing so for a second time and Terry knows and anticipates this as a plan B. Terry will only effortlessly end up seeming like even more of a hero if beloved ever tried wiggling out.
So, really, Terry makes himself absolutely necessary. Irreplaceable. Number one.
Next on the agenda; ensure the actual biological dad is entirely erased from the game due to the fact that they'll never measure up to Terry Silver; the stepfather who does Karate, who's been in the military, who gives the coolest advice at just the right time, who owns a dojo, who employs a waiting staff, runs a company, wears amazing suits, so happens to live in a mansion and collects dozens of sports cars. He's, almost stereotypically speaking, literally almost every child's dream come true parent; another thing he is entirely aware of and plays into like there's no tomorrow. Biological father? Who on earth is that punk schmuck anyway?
What's worse, Terry won't even have to eliminate the man personally. Won't have to lift a finger or even open his mouth to besmirch and sabotage the guy; if anything, he'll tactically defend him to seem like the 'good cop' in comparison, further adding to the mystique that he's as humble as the salt of the earth and just as kind. Sooner or later, beloved and beloved's kid will distance themselves from the man on their own because Terry will prove to be a father figure like no other; someone nobody can measure up to and what's the point of anyone ever even trying (a grace Terry rejects with a fake sense of being humble). I mean, he defends beloved's ex and speaks of about equity! Consideration! Fair play! Can you believe!?
By the end of it, beloved and the child will be the ones feeling grateful due to Terry Silver coming into their lives in the first place and internally, he'll laugh and laugh and laugh until the end of time because he's won just like he always knew he would.

I love the dissonance that happens when the players have a different interpretation of certain characters than Anthony and you can tell.
Like Veronica Marlowe, I love her, but she formed a band as a teen and yet won't let Scary play guitar? She's fairly chill about Scary running off to Seattle but has an opinion on torn up jeans?
But the dissonance can be fun! I'm sitting here poking it like it's a stir fry and listening to it sizzle.
So...now that I've let it cook, I present: Some Veronica Marlowe head canons.
We see in Hell, the projection version of Scary's dad asking for money, due to her past history of lending him money when she probably couldn't afford it means that money is tight in the Marlowe household.
Having her ex depend on her for money in the past means she feels really uncomfortable with Terry Jr. helping out with the finances. So when it comes to things for herself or for Scary, Veronica wants the money to be from her own account.
This is probably why Terry had to tell her where he hid the "in case I die" money, because she wasn't going to be okay dipping into any of his cash while he was alive.
And if you think Scary is going to accept any gift from Terry Jr. if he decides to buy things out of his own money, that's not a thing.
So she sees Scary's rebel phase and recognizes it as something similar to what she went through, and is pretty sure it's not going to last a particularly long time. So is she going to dish out for a guitar and private lessons from her own tight budget when she can't be sure Scary will even still be interested in guitar in five months? She can, however, handle renting a cello and knowing that Scary will be able to get free lessons in Orchestra at school.
Money is tight and you can't untear jeans. She doesn't want to have to buy a whole new bunch of pants when Scary decides she's over the goth thing. Scary only recently finished a massive growth spurt and those pants were supposed to last!
Not spending money on a tongue piercing that probably isn't going to be a thing her daughter will want later (and add a dash of the same reasons Freddie's dad says it's a bad idea to get piercings around the mouth and nose.)
So in essence, these are not a conflict in values, per se. It's a financial problem getting in the way of a situation that Veronica otherwise would probably be very willing to empathize with her daughter over.
*cracks knuckles* Now did I really need to take the time to make those things line up? No, but it's fun and helps flesh out a character with a shameful lack of air time.

The Problem with Claire Bear (and how to fix it in S4 without making Clairmy endgame)
This critic is focusing on the writing and is not meant to be an attack against the actress in any way! Also this is my personal opinion.
Tumblr media
I must confess, that i am relatively new to the fandom, but 'the Bear' has a chokehold on me for a couple of weeks now. The way it has so many different characters and tries to explore their personalities, their shortcomings, their problems and anxiety, hooked me from the start and i loved to see how they developed over the three Seasons, we have now. But then there's Claire. And she just doesn't work at all.
The number thing and Claire accepting anything
When she first appeared in the supermarket and had that talk with Carmen Berzatto, i couldn't shake off the feeling that this whole scene was very awkward and almost non-human. Of course, we know that Carmen can be socially awkward and seeing his old childhood friend, which he ghosted, is a weird situation for a lot of people. Given his own difficulties to deal with situations like that, it makes sense why he gave her a fake number. I know, she asked multiple times if it is okay, but the whole number thing is a clear sign that he is either avoiding contact, because he doesn't feel ready enough to deal with a past relationship or that, deep down, he doesn't actually want it and uses it as an excuse so that he doesn't have to say it out loud.
Seriously, if i would've been Claire, that would be a RED FLAG for me and i'd stop trying to force any contact. But the script wanted a romance, so it literally made Claire an all forgiving person. She just takes Carmen's bullshit and never truly questions it or tries to make him question those things. She always reassures him, that he's doing good and all, which is supportive and cute, but it doesn't help Carmy's broken personality in any way. It never questions, it never tackles his character to move past this. And in the end, it doesn't help Claire too because this relationship feels very one-sided. She's always there for him, tries to keep the contact, supports him, confesses her love first (even though if it was via voicemail), but Carmy isn't able to give it back to Claire in any form.
Claire got no personality
This is very obvious, but it needs to be said. The script gave Claire nothing to create an interesting or engaging personality. After i finished Season 3 i did a small recap in my head and all i could say about her is: She was Carmy's girlfriend and she is working as a doctor. That's all. And it made me bonkers somehow, because 'The Bear' has so many well-written female characters - Sydney, Tina, Natalie, Donna, Chef Terry. Even Jessica and Tiff, without having much screentime, had more developed character traits that made them stand out. But the script is not able to give Claire something that would make her more than just Carmy's forced relationship!? We rarely see, why she even has this crush on him - maybe due to their childhood friendship, any special moments they'd shared in the past before they met again at the supermarket? No, nothing and i think this is sad. Because with all that, Claire becomes a character, that can be easily written out of the script, without leaving a hole in the story.
Carmen would still have his New York David Fields trauma, mixed with the death of his brother Michael, he would still pressure himself. The rest could be easily explained through the dynamic he has with Sydney and the team - the fear of letting them down, of being not good enough, of not deserving happiness at all etc.
An environment of forcing it
Now it gets a little bit personal. When i was younger, i had a best friend, whom i really liked - but just as a friend. At one point however he started to have feelings for me and asked, if we shouldn't just try and see where it gets, which i didn't want out of fear that it might ruin our friendship. A lot of friends we both known at that time, told me multiple times that we would be such a great match, that he really cares for me and we would be cute together. It gaslighted me into the believe that, well... maybe i should just try. Also because i didn't want to disappoint my best friend. In the end, it was a mess and it ruined our friendship. But why am i telling this story? Because Carmy's and Claire's relationship kind of reminds me of that.
The people around Carmy are constantly talking about Claire, about her being a saint and that she is good for him, that they totally match and that he has a crush on her (e.g. in the conversation with Richie and Michael during the Christmas episode). Yet it never really feels like Carmen loves her deeply enough to make a long-term relationship work. He cares for her and likes her, that much is clear, but i feels forced, whenever they share moments together - not from Claire's side, but from Carmy's side. As if he always has to reassure himself, that he indeed loves Claire. And my theory about his flashbacks of their time together, is that it is more because of his own guilt. He never wanted to hurt Claire and he understands that what he said was deeply painful to her. Confessing that to himself is hard and an apology is needed. But i don't think it would be good if they straight up reset their whole relationship.
What can S4 do to save this mess?
The apology is a big thing that is in fact needed. To jump over his own shadow and to find piece for himself and for Claire, Carmen needs to apologize to her. By talking about what happen and recognizing how bad he'd treated her during the walk-in freezer incident, he also gives her the chance to close that case for herself, so that she doesn't think it was her own fault and therefore she can move on with her life. But it would also make sense that Carmen reflects if he really loves her as deep as he thought he would. In my opinion, the script didn't give us enough to undermine the argument that he does. So looking at that, it would be great to see how he confesses to her, how he'd always thought they were meant to be, but in the end his feelings were not enough for that to happen, that he got carried away by the expectations of those around him and his own anxiety. And maybe we learn, that Claire experienced something similar to that, realizing that they could've been great friends but weren't meant to be more.
Even though i don't like the character of Claire, given the fact that she is in the series now, it would only be fair to close her character arc with an apology and a wholesome conclusion for both her and Carmy before they part ways.

Hey, so I saw your comment on bloomingattorney's post. Might want to check out GBPatch's comments on reddit. She's doubling down on the biphobia.
See, now this is upsetting. What happened to Rose is understandably fucked up because being doxed and harassed like this is absolutely awful and never an okay or just thing to do.
It was disappointing hearing someone on the team had such amazing ideas such as the skin color chart but having a strict mindset on what it meant to be gay/pan and being trans. As someone who genderfluid, pan, and afro-latino, I was disappointed to see someone like me have such heinous views and be in a position be a hinder to the group.
My main problem comes from GPatch themselves and how they handled it, while being a face of a company and working with many others of the same community and having your audience also be a part of your community there's a responsibility you carry with such a position.
The people see how you're constantly pulling the "I trust them" card instead of listening to what people have to say and taking the time to look over Rose's actions under another lense such as trans people who share terri's experience, people who are bi/pan, people who happen to be male being into tam, and so on and so forth. rather than trying to understand the people and fix the problem which would be holding Rose accountable for what they said on the issue.
I read over the post that happened between blossoming and Rose and the way Rose handled it was not okay, even if it was before they were hired. If Rose has changed from that then that's great, that's amazing even, the problem comes from not doing a background check on someone who holds a view of a community that there in with such an awful mindset.
Rose can change for the better and be allowed another chance, the problem is that instead of holding Rose accountable, speaking about how this effected your fanbase and how Rose will be stepping down sounds a lot better than just releasing tons of statements and trying to paint with a pastel on black background.
GBPatch should've taken the time and waited for the situation, I've seen tons of people who release content immediately hurt themselves and their credibility by speaking on the subject too fast and ruining themselves in the eyes of the public.
Wait till the emotion dies down in you before responding and don't sit there and defend the person you know has done wrong with proof. I'm not talking about what Rose said about GBPatch, they hashed it out in dms and that's their business, my problem comes with what they had said how that reflects on a company's image if they're allowing someone with these views to speak on these issues for a community.
That's bad representation, and then defending them because you know them is a whole other can worms due to the fact you're not really listening to your audience. It's not about Rose as a person but about what was Rose said and how he's going to rectify it, there is no reason for him to be on a team where he represents a group, and he ruins the fun for everyone by policing and saying what should or should not be done to LGBTQ+ characters.
Rose doesn't have that experience to say that because of the mindset that shows he doesn't see it as a spectrum but instead a certain way people have to be once they've found what they are.
We understand Rose has changed and we understand that Rose is trying for the better, we understand. The problem is how you're addressing the people's concerns and instead of talking to them and hoping to get an expansion on how they feel from their favorite creator of their favorite game, you sit there and defend them just because you know them personally.
If Rose still held those views of pan/biphobia, eld those views that trans people have to dress a certain way after transition, and immaturely called everyone bigots who have a point in conversation.
Would you still be saying the same thing?
This isn't about Rose changing, or Rose being your friend, or whatever else.
This is about how Rose, as a BIPOC and member of the LGBTQ+ community, holds these disgusting views and how they should at least step down from the team until they've broadened their horizons with new people and different experiences before speaking out against something with a close mindset.
Talking about how Terri's clothes were sexual just because they hugged his body, and the many other things said in the tumblr post alongside the response was very something to behold and the response being more irritating because of how it makes communities look when trying to make a point because Rose's point was ignorant and their response only doubling down on such ignorance and using the idea of being a BIPOC and/or apart of LGBTQ+ to escape criticism is disgusting and a bad look on the community.
I get it if it was a joke but it clearly wasn't in this context.
With my final thoughts coming to mind
The main problem I had with final statement is that Rose left due to harassment, Rose should not have been harassed in the first place and doxed, what should've happened was Rose being fired or at least taking the time to learn more due to the negligence and ignorance of other people's, especially queer, situations.
The situation has definitely been thrown out of proportions, I understand people not wanting them to work on the team but doxing is never a good thing to do and harassment is never okay. My advice? Block them and report it to the creator about their worker's close minded views.
Alongside that, GBPatch in future controversies and dramas, taking a step back and reflecting on everting before making a statement instead of responding on emotion instantly. It makes it look like you're arguing with your fanbase, defending someone who is being held accountable for their actions and so on and so forth.
It's good you're calling out the awful people making the situation worse, those people should not be a part of the community to come and harm and put people's lives in danger. That's a good place to start following it with talking about what Rose did, I get the whole 'I know them' and 'They've changed' argument but save that until after you've discussed what happened.
You gotta understand that as a company, why you won't meet everyone's expectations of what they want, you have to try and salvage the part of your audience that really does want to stay and give them a reason to want to stay and that being letting Rose go and grow more as a person to come back with a wider horizon. There a people genuinely hurt and offended by what Rose said, they are are apart of the community and want to feel comfortable in this space made for all and with someone with a close mindset acting this way and publicly working alongside you it makes the game’s community not feel as good to be a part of
I get that Rose has done great things for the game, I’m more than thankful the skin color expansion, but Rose leaving the project for however long he decides was for the best, not under these disgusting circumstances of harassment and doxing, also the disgusting and childish behavior of a fan base to be jerks and bigots is not okay at all. There is a way to handle things and the situation should’ve been handled better by all sides.
That's all my thoughts, I'm open to discussions and other interpretations because everyone is different.
To qoute blossoming-attorney, "It's not about wanting them to feel bad about it. It's about how I feel this may affect the game. These close-minded (in my opinion) views on trans people's bodies are unacceptable. "

There's this principle Terry Pratchett introduces in his books, especially the ones where witchcraft is in focus, called first sight, second thoughts. Summarized accordingly: "First Sight means you can see what really is there, and Second Thoughts mean thinking about what you are thinking." (Terry Pratchett, I Shall Wear Midnight).
This principle is.. uh, really cool, and also kind of serves to voice a dynamic I've noticed between Jon & Jay that's revealed inside their thinking patterns. Jon's thoughts are always kind of understated and simple. Half of the time he doesn't really think/narrate at all, he just does. When he does narrate, its usually a very emotionally-driven thought, or he is describing a thought process for something hes in the middle of doing.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The one time we see Jay have Thought Boxes, in Ground Zero, he is CONSTANTLY thinking and analyzing the situation. He asks the pertinent questions. This serves both to catch the viewer up, but also to characterize Jay as someone constantly taking in the facts of his surroundings and building an internally consistent narrative.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
This reflects in their dynamic. A lot of the time we see Jon About To Do Something based off his emotional response, before Jay is the one who pulls him back with a well thought through plan. Call to Action vs. Second Thoughts.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Jon does things Jay is categorically incapable of doing due to his immense powers and sheer drive to do well by other people, but this results in him being deeply intelligent but rather, for lack of a better wording, simple minded. While he's very good at identifying a situation for what it is, he comes to quick conclusions for what he needs to do, and then he usually just does it. Jay, however, takes in more information and is able to come up with a more coherent plan: He asks the questions Jon doesn't ask, and is able to more clearly steer Jon towards the course of action that'll do the most good. This is why they're a great team!

Final Fantasy XII, Ashe, Vayne, "Us V.S. Them" Mentality, and What Makes a Hero
Something I really love about FF12 is that beyond the whole "free will" plotline that underscores basically every FF game, it actually has something else to say. And it gets pretty specific with it in a way that not many other media I've seen is willing to properly explore: the extremely thin line between hero and villain.
Possibly due to the disaster that was its development, Final Fantasy 12 was able to get extremely specific with its themes and messages, and the rush that occurred when a second team came in to finish for an entirely different team may have allowed for most of this to make it to the final game. It's also ridiculously topical and hits a modern problem on the nose—"Us Vs Them" Mentality, and the oversimplification that follows. This is something that I've only ever seen Terry Pratchett attack so violently.
The villains are not villains. They are people, like us. But more than this, they are only villains because of how they do things. But more than that...
The heroes are not heroes. They are people, like us. But more than this, they are only heroes because of how they do things.
In the eyes of a wider plotline, Vayne might have been the hero if not for his methods. This is made clear from the get-go. He's freeing man from the control of the Occuria, after all. He's fighting God—something you always do in the Final Fantasy games. What's worse, he was raised in a situation where his ruthlessness was not just an asset, but a necessity. He'd disposed of his elder brothers, and endeavored to build a world where Gods and Emperors did not dictate the movement of man—only him. It is, in my humble opinion, a response to excessive trauma from a young age. He is a brilliant character, beloved and loathed for his ability, and he is not arrogant about it.
Meanwhile Ashe is the last remaining descendant of Raithwall and seeks her country's freedom. Her characterization could have ended there and the audience would have been satisfied. Except it didn't.
She was angry. Arrogant. Uptight. She made rude assumptions about the people around her. And then...
Then Ashe decided to use the Nethicite.
And after her declaration, the first person to speak is the lowliest in standing of all in the room—a boy who'd seemed unimportant from the very start, who she'd degraded practically on sight. He'd been the most impacted by the war out of all of them; a boy who has had little to say up until this point besides seemingly shallow statements about theft, independence, and revenge.
"You even know how to use it?"
Vaan's words cut through the moment, changing the vibe instantly before Fran can take the scene. It's a good point, and highlighted a critical flaw in Ashe's thinking until that moment.
She doesn't. In a literal and figurative sense, this is the core of the entire story of Final Fantasy XII—Ashe does not know how to wield Nethicite. Not just as a weapon, but as a weapon.
There is rebellion. There is freedom-fighting. Then...
Then there's mass murder of civilians.
One of these things is not like the other.
But Ashe doesn't even see civilians. She's angry at Archadia as a whole for some reason—likely because they were "complicit" during the war. She sees them as all the same, and doesn't even think of them before suggesting using the uncontrollable Nethicite. She's convinced that her people will never get along with Archadians to the point where it's a plot point. She thinks they all want revenge. And seeing what we have until that point in the story... Yeah, that makes sense.
Until it doesn't. Until Vaan—the "unimportant" character mentioned before, the one who spoke, the main character everyone seems to overlook—actively does what she needs to do before it's even spoken aloud.
He trusts an Archadian.
He makes friends.
He puts aside his rage in favor of cooperation.
And he does this so casually that it's in the background when it happens. Until Basch brings it to her attention, Ashe didn't even notice. She was so fixed in her idea of what her people would want that it never occurred to her that yeah, maybe they do want this... in a moment of rage. A moment that would pass.
A moment that would pass in favor of guilt, horror, and disgust if she used the Nethicite.
We get to see Ashe's bloodthirsty nature before any of her other traits, but for Vayne we are shown he is charismatic, intelligent, and thoughtful.
It is Ashe who is the hero.
It is Ashe who is the hero because she does not fight with blinders on. Instead, she loses those blinders in no small part due to Basch, who points things out to her, and Vaan, who literally shows her the way. Vaan loses his rage first. Vaan moves on first. There's dialog around this a few times, and plot movements as well, and it's made pretty clear that every emotional development Ashe is going through, Vaan is going through directly in front of her and without the support that she had for so long. Vaan and Ashe are so acutely similar that it's almost alarming.
Vaan hates Archadians and then he changes his mind. Vaan hates Archadia until he changes his mind. Vaan hates soldiers until he changes his mind.
Vaan hates until he realizes that hate is a symptom, and to cure the symptom you can't just repeat the circumstances that led to the problem in the first place.
The main characters—the "heroes"—very nearly become the villains of a whole other country until they decide... no. No, we're not going to do this. No, we're not going to use this. Instead, we're just going to get rid of it. We're going to get rid of the chance of anyone using this great power again. This power would end the war in a split second before it could even begin. We've got so much of it, we could rule the world.
And then they don't rule the world. They destroy the ability to rule the world, and take that power out of the puppetmasters' hands.
You don't kill the occuria.
Heck, the only person they really kill is Vayne.
There is no "us".
There is no "them".
There are just people—people like us. And we are just as capable of being those people. One wrong step, and we become the people we hate most in the world.
There is no "us" and "them". You have no way of telling if a person is a monster on the inside. There's no way to look at them and know, or talk to them and know, or work with them and know. Vayne is charming and kind and gentle when he wishes to be, yet we only see Ashe's "undesireable" qualities.
She is the hero.
Ashe is the hero because where Vayne was prepared to burn everything and everyone to the ground for the promise of a day that might not come, she was not. Vayne was a battering ram where they needed a scalpel, and her team—six people with questions and some luck—was that scalpel.
Being a hero is not about being nice. It's not about being able to make connections or read a room. It's not even about how kind you are to others with your words. It's about what power we have, and how we are willing to use it. That is what makes a hero.

thanks to @riding-the-sunset-bird i got a touch of creativity due to a non-romance kiss you can have with Baxter that just brought me SO MUCH ANGST TO PLAY WITH
ahem
also @differenteagletragedy for feeding my obsession and letting me rant and eventually create part one of this story
so without further ado, please enjoy :D
************************************************************************
Many people under-estimate how difficult wedding planning can be; In saying that, they typically realize it quickly and either gain the help of friends and family to plan the day, or they reach out for a wedding planner to handle the worst of the planning stress.
Baxter knew this all too well, and as he waited for his clients to arrive with the rest of the party at the restaurant, he pondered their situation with a wry grin. For reasons unbeknownst to even himself, he decided to agree to help his new clients plan a wedding that is meant to happen in just under a week. This was going to be a challenge all on its own, but Baxter enjoyed a good challenge now and again, and right now, this wasn’t phasing him.
He hears the party approach the table and turns away from the window he was staring through and looks at the happy couple in front of him and two additional new faces. As the couple introduced the new attendees, Baxter immediately recognized Miranda from his time in Sunset Bird, all those years ago. What a touch of irony that it’s another Eckert that’s got him planning a function in the last minutes leading up to it.
“Of course you are the charming brother of Mirandas', I should’ve expected as much” with a wry smile he looks across Miranda, the couple Jude and Scott before resting is sight on Terry, slowly coming to recognize the fourth person at the table.
“Randy, do you recognize this guy?” Terry is bewildered as he asks, unable to recognize Baxter, not that he is at all surprised. He did lose his ostentatious monochrome style and went back to dyeing his hair in full black again; It would take someone who truly knew him to be able to recognize him, and that is a someone he didn’t have in his life. At least he thought so.
As he sat there, with a pondering look on his face, amiable smile still firmly in place, he hears a voice he dared never to hear again.
“Baxter…”
Keeping up appearances mattered little right now, he needed to know that he wasn’t hearing things. Quickly, he stood up, almost knocking the chair aside as he reached his full height and looked past the four people in front of him, searching for the one person he thought he would never have the luck to see again.
And there you are. His eyes land on you and its as if time stopped right there and then; And as he stared at you, memories from five years ago coming flooding back into his head. That summer in 2016, where you met by some luck once again after that Soiree from fives years prior to that! Where you both reconnected and spent time and adventures together, though only as friends; He wished for a small summer romance with you but you declined him at the time, and as much as it did pain him he understood, he just wanted to keep being friends with you.
As those memories flooded his mind, there was the one that stuck out the most, the one that was burned into his mind, one he both regretted and cherished with all his might. The night you were up, deep into the night making cupcakes for Miranda, and you kissed him. His affection for you had only grown over the time he spent with you, and there you were, sweet and darling as you could be, gently pressing a kiss to his lips in the dead of the night.
He knew he shouldn’t entertain it. He knew that if he did, he would come to regret it later because he was going to hurt you when he eventually left with nothing more to say, but he couldn’t resist. He wanted to be selfish, to truly let himself go and just be with you in that moment. And so, as you look into his eyes waiting for his response, he brings his free hand up to the base of your head and pulls you in deep; Mouths moving in rhythm with each other as he deepens the kiss further, trying to drink you in, to try and memorize how you feel, taste and smell in this moment, as he wont ever be able to have this again. But as soon as he could feel himself sink into the kiss, that bitter voice in the back of his mind reminded him of what he was about to do, and he pulls away.
He remembers how you looked in that moment, flushed as he knew he was as well, before you both went back to work on the cupcakes, without a further comment on what had happened. He remembers it as clearly as the day he walked away from you, leaving you in the middle of your street with the look of disbelief on your face when he told you that he would never contact you again, nor would he see you again. With haunting clarity, he remembers as he turns away, the shine that had collected over your eyes spill down your cheeks, and you stood there, not saying another word as he walked out of your life, for good.
At least, that is what he anticipated; Never seeing you again. Yet there you are, shining like a daydream he never allows himself to have, with an identical look on your face of when he left you on that street five years ago. This is why he couldn’t think of you over those years, why he didn’t deserve to remember your beautiful smile and kind words. Because all he can do is bring you pain and put that hurt look on your face, and he knows that he is going to deserve every piece of karma coming his way over the course of this wedding.

Carmen Berzatto and the Very, Very Bad Work Environment
Tumblr media
There is enough space to empathize with Carmen and hold him accountable for his actions. He’s trying very hard to change, but that doesn’t mean he’s not hurting people in the process.
“Hurt people hurt people,” isn’t that how the phrase goes? I don’t think he’s a monster. I do think because of his trauma, he’s tunnel-visioned on the worst parts of himself. And in doing so, he’s isolating himself.
It’s not the “If it’s not perfect, it doesn’t go out.” It’s the condescending tone, the dramatic performance of slamming it in the trash. It’s the anger that’s associated with it. You can still have this ideology without being mean or hurtful about it.
Carmen is stuck in “I’m going to smoke this motherfucker” mode. He views everyone in his staff as competition, and has a tendency to discredit or diminish their capabilities. He demands perfection on a BOH staff of three (?) that only has 1/3 of fine dining experience who have to produce a new menu every day for a failing restaurant. That’s all these different stressors coming into play. That’s
a new arena and standard for Tina, Richie, Marcus, Gary, etc.
with menu changes every day, there’s no comfort to fall into. There’s no rhythm. There’s no way to prepare.
they’re understaffed, so there’s no one coming to save you. sometimes, your calls for “hands” go unanswered. You have to juggle two, three, four things that you just learned to cook. Something’s going to get fucked up, and sent back. And Carmen’s going to yell at you about it. Also, if you want to take a mental health day, it could jeopardizes everything
in the midst of all of this, Richie and Carmen are screaming everyday. They have at least one physical altercation. If you don’t think constantly hearing two people argue all the time is damaging, then ask anybody who grew up in a dysfunctional household. Me, for example.
then the bitter realization that doing all of this is not making them money. My good man Ebra is though (and thank god he got some help bc he was threading water, too)
The Bear is a hostile work environment. Full stop. There’s constant aggression and ridiculing. Once, I worked in a hostile work environment for six months, and it caused me panic attacks, nightmares, and extreme bouts of depression. I cried coming to and from work because i wanted to leave, but I loved the kids that i worked with and i had no other options available. In those situations, “You’re trapped,” no pun intended (well, maybe a little pun intended).
And the consequences of a hostile work environment:
higher rates of stress, anxiety, burnout, depression, and other mental health issues in employees
decreased productivity
high turnover rates - we’re both told about this about the BOH staff and shown the FOH staff. Try counting how many of the wait staff stay in between debriefings
erosion of trust and morale
The course that Carmy’s set sail for is leading him straight to disaster.
There’s a reason we’re shown Carmen’s experience in other successful and starred kitchens that have welcoming environments. There’s a reason why we see Chef Terry shutdown Carmen’s aggression towards Luca. There’s a reason why we get “I think about you too much” and “I don’t think about you at all.” There’s a reason why we get “This place could be different than any other places we’ve been at.”
Now, I don’t think comparing the consequences of Carmy’s actions on those around him to those of Donna’s or NYC Head Chef’s on him is right. Everything happens on a spectrum, and I’m just not for creating hierarchies for people’s hurt in real life, so I try not to do in fictional cases either.
Carmen’s trying to work through some shit, so I’ll give credit where credit is due. I’ll give gold stars to anyone out there, trying to unlearn some negative habits and make themselves better. I’m doing it now, and that shits hard. However, I won’t be giving Carmen a cookie because he didn’t tell his staff to kill themselves like his old boss.
Carmen has to “change the chemistry.” He has to acknowledge that he, himself, is capable of change. And it can’t be because Syd said so. It would be hard for him, but I would love for him to look around and see what he’s done to his own staff and change. Not just want to change but actually change. With his double-guessing to both Syd and Ebra, it might not take him long to get there.
Mikey’s gone. His old chef doesn’t care.
There’s no one else to spite. Carmen has so much anger, resentment, and fear, but he, also, has his moments of happiness and laughter and courage. He, also, has so much love to give.
It’s very hard seeing a character that you love and can relate to become cold and distant and mean to other characters that you love and relate to. But we got another season, so I want to stick around for it.
