ok so by. the time I realized I was going a bit too crazy on what I said would be an "ms paint doodle", I was already in too deep... ;;;;

when I first saw the ask it was 3 hours old, now it's 6 hours, I can't believe I spent 3 hours on MS paint xDD

anyways I still hope you enjoy :3c !!!! I had a bit too much fun on this one

p.s., I'm probably going to only draw solo - Edgar requests from here on. you're still totally free to send in whatever Edgar-related requests you have but I'll probably just do smaller stuff for the rest of these :)

The Development Department seems weird. Like a cool weird though! They seem cool :)

Can you tell me more about them please?

The Development department is solely focused on coming up with counters to the paranormal items and forces that we here at the Magnus Institute deal with on a daily basis. They work very closely with Artefact Storage, often borrowing items in order to study their properties and quirks. Development is run by Ade, who’s affectionately referred to as ‘the dungeon master’, and who once apparently got into a fistfight with a zombie. He’s quite the local legend.

Development is mostly staffed by people who had to be moved out of Artefact Storage for being too ‘intense’ about their research, which explains a great deal about Development, and honestly it’s a wonder they haven’t been shut down by how many complaints our neighbouring buildings have made about them.

They have, however, come up with numerous ways to improve the Institute, including our anti-apparition system, Leitner-safe equipment, storage systems that neutralise a number of the more unsettling items in Artefact Storage, and perhaps most strangely, a perpetual motion machine that only works if nobody is observing it (we have yet to be provided with proof of this, but Mr. Bouchard seems to believe them, as he has stated he will be ‘keeping a keen eye’ on them, as well as increasing their budget.)

Generally, most people avoid Development. They tend to be spooky in an entirely new and different way than the rest of the Institute.

Back again with 2 more additions to the Warheads roster, first guy is Crosshair, 2nd one's name is Admiral Whitehead. Crosshairs name is self-explanatory as he is a sniper. Whitehead's name might be more obscure, basically the first ever successful torpedo model ever made were called Whitehead Torpedo's, and i've also gone on the trend of taking inspiration from some animals, Crosshair I had spider in mind, for Whitehead it was Shark. I don't know if i'll keep this up for ALL Warheads characters but it's so fun to brainstorm ways of going about it, and seeing the end result.

Short infodump below

Xelra’s the resident protagonist and sniper of a mercenary group called the Greyhunters, notorious for her hellish ability in combat and her apparent plot armor. Even if people aren’t familiar with the Greyhunters, they’ve probably heard of her somewhere. She’s impulsive, cocky, reckless, and constantly throwing herself into dangerous situations if it means benefiting the Greyhunters (much to the displeasure of her boss). Most of her missions end in something being on fire and/or a near-death experience.

Lake is a pretty simple ordinary grunt that’s just terrified for their life. They’re jumpy, nervous, and easily spooked, which honestly makes sense considering this hellscape of Nevada they live in. They work at a place called Melinda’s Diner and Bar and serve food and stuff

I’ve been working on a full lineup of the everyone including Xelra’s coworkers and her brother but god knows if I’ll ever get around to finishing it

7 ways to reduce your screen time...

If you create content for a living, schedule your posts in one sitting so you don't have to spend as much time putting them out throughout the day.

Turn on your phone's grayscale setting — this overrides our natural inclination to click on the brightly colored app icons of addictive socials like Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and more.

Use a minimalist phone app. This removes icons altogether, and forces you to intentionally look for what you need from a list of apps as opposed to mindlessly clicking. I'm currently using an app called Oasis Launcher from the Google Play Store.

Turn off notifications from social media, so you are only prompted to spend time on those apps through your own natural inclination.

Oftentimes we reach for our phones because our hands are idle, not because we actually want to spend the time on them — find something to keep your hands busy. For me this is crochet, but it could be a book, a painting, or some other kind of project.

If you find that you spend a lot of time on certain social media apps, try uninstalling the app itself, and only using that form of media through your phone browser. I used to spend a lot of time window shopping on Amazon, and the added inconvenience of not having it available in one click has really helped deter me from spending so much time on it — now I only jump on and use it when I truly need to order something for the household.

Reevaluate your screen time at the end of every week. Many phones have a "digital well-being" feature now that allows you to set time limits on apps, and see how your screen time compares to previous weeks. This can be a great way to evaluate where you need to trim down your usage.

This is a concept for an updated mechanic uniform in the sci-fi story I’m working on. I’ve had the old one for quite a long time but I felt like it was a little too basic now, after 4 years of using it. New and improved version! I really need to work on the volunteer uniforms. I really want them to be 50’s-60’s inspired!

Also man I kind of miss using this brush. My sketches tend to be messier using it though, which is why I ultimately made the switch to a pencil brush. But boy does it make my art have a totally different vibe
