Hey y’all! I’m making this post because a content creator that means a lot to me has been struggling in the stats department. This is Mithzan (Max), he’s a general gaming YouTuber that got his start as an editor during the Minecraft boom in the early-mid 2010s. Recently his numbers haven’t been great since YouTube’s algorithm has been truly fucking him over. The guy is super funny and has great content, so I recommend checking him out and sharing this post to try and get more people to follow and watch his stuff!

to anyone who has more than one creative hobby;

take a song you can play on an instrument, convert the notes so you can play it on a second instrument you're familiar with

write stories, songs, or poems about images (photo, painting, drawing, anything) you've made

turn stories into poems, poems into songs, songs into stories

paint/sketch something based on stories or songs you've written, or based on a picture you've taken

could you make fanfiction instead? yes. but you could also take inspiration from your own work and from what inspired the original work. bonus points if the work is attached to a memory or strong emotion

you're allowed to recycle ideas. there's a reason we don't rest until all of our senses experience a story told through cinema. show all the sides of the story you're trying to tell. drown in the feeling until it overflows into the audience

My name is Nexys, and I am queer and disabled. For years I have been striving to create the most tight-knit safe space (that's ACTUALLY safe) on the internet, using content creation as common ground. And we're really starting to take off!

But I need your help. Please reblog this post so that I may meet new people and make new friends! My community has been lifechanging, both to myself and to the people within it. I really feel like my Twitch, YouTube, and Discord communities have been making a difference in the lives of some of the most disadvantaged and marginalized people in the LGBT and neurodiverse communities.

We often play games like Minecraft, Stardew Valley, Harvest Moon, and Pokémon, with the occasional challenges and other genres thrown in. Sometimes we even invite our chat to play the games with us!
