Day 4: Ego/Coincidence
@daily-writing-challenge
---
Several moons ago:
The complex patterns of sorcery swirled gracefully around the delicate fingers of Ondrea, each undulation shimmering and fading in a rhythm reminiscent of a heart laboring to maintain its vital flow. While one hand was adorned with this mystical energy, her other hand remained unadorned, yet it bore its own distinct markings. Darkness clung to her fingers like a deep ink stain, enveloping her strikingly long nails in a shade of vantablack--then, without preamble, it faded.
The sharp sound of her tongue striking the roof of her mouth served as a clear indication of her growing frustration, prompting her to instinctively ball her hand into a tight fist. As she lifted her eyes, she was met with the sight of her sister emerging from the estate's gardens, a space characterized by a complex arrangement of diverse plants and lush green leaves.
Onora was dressed in an elegant yet understated white dress made of soft silk, which was tastefully adorned with intricate dark lace that accentuated her figure. Without preamble, Onora quietly extended her hand towards her sister, grasping it gently and positioning the palm facing upward. Her slender fingers glided over the intricate lines that were naturally formed in Ondrea's palm, tracing a path that moved upward toward the length of her middle finger before gently retreating to rest at the very heart of her palm.
"It seems you have been experimenting again." she remarked, her tone carrying an undertone of caution. Her emerald eyes rose to meet Ondrea's gaze, which, in contrast to its usual golden brilliance, now reflected a sinister shade of green, reminiscent of poison.
“—Unsuccessfully?”
Ondrea typically possessed an innate tendency to maintain her focus on the expressions of those around her, however, in this particular moment, she felt an unusual compulsion to divert her attention downward to the gentle pressure of Onora's fingers resting against her palm.
“It’s of no coincidence that you find challenge in this, sister.” Her voice flowed like a serene stream, possessing the ability to temper the intensifying fire within Ondrea.
"In your purview, what do you believe the barrier to be?"
“Your ego.” Onora's rejoinder was rather swift, so swift in fact, she caught Ondrea by surprise.
Ondrea's gaze was drawn upward at the sound of Onora's voice, her attention fixating once again on her sister's expression. The words spoken were laden with significance, as Onora continued to elaborate on the intricate connection between the mind and body. "You must understand…" she stated "…the essence of you, of us, pervades every facet of your being. While your mind may be as transparent as glass, your heart remains as unyielding as stone." With a gentle yet deliberate motion, Onora tapped her finger against Ondrea's palm, emphasizing the point she was making.
“Embracing a mindset that prioritizes curiosity over certainty is crucial, Ondrea. This you know, but one cannot go without reminders.”
Ondrea was acutely aware of this truth, a realization that resonated deeply within her. With a gentle and careful motion, she released her sister's hand, stepping gracefully around her to position herself in front of the estate gardens' entrance. The wrought iron gateway stood ajar, its doors adorned with a beautiful array of ivy and roses.
As she extended her hand toward the gateway, Ondrea narrowed her eyes. The intricate design of the wrought iron, combined with the lush greenery and vibrant blooms, heralded her attention. She stood poised with outstretched fingers and for a time, nothing happened.
A striking crimson rose drew her attention, its vibrant petals, full of youthful vitality, began to slowly curl inward. The edges of the petals darkened, retreating into themselves until the very essence of the flower withered, becoming shriveled and wrinkled. Shortly thereafter, the entire collection mirrored this decline, as each exquisite rose began to wither and perish. The ivy, once a rich shade of green, transitioned to a desolate tawny brown, signaling its own decay.
Ondrea stood, her chest rising and falling with every breath she took.
"Tis not a matter of ego, dear sister." Ondrea asserted, her hand falling to her side as she turned to face Onora with the desolate display of dead foliage behind her.
"--Merely a matter of avarice."

Ego/Coincidence: Day 4 @daily-writing-challenge
Tumblr media
“Never judge a book by its cover, a wise old saying goes for within the plainest bindings the richest story flows look beyond the surface where deeper truths reside in every unassuming page a world may hide inside. But tread with care through hidden lore for not all tales are kind, some books breathe with ancient scripts with mysteries entwined in dusty shelved and shadowed nooks forgotten tomes may lie whispering secrets in the dark under a moonless sky. Each page is a door to realms unknown where eerie silence reigns, where words twist like serpents in cryptic dance binding with unseen chains, the air grows thick, the walls close in as you turn each page with dread in hidden ink the cursed truths of a world unsaid. What starts as curiosity can end in fateful snare, each chapter a deeper descent into the lair of despair for books are more than paper and ink they hold powers unseen in their embrace reality bends and nightmares blend with dreams. So when you choose to crack a spine and peer into its heart, remember that some knowledge is a curse, a venomous dark art. For within the pages of some books, there lurks terrors untold and by their cover, you’ll never guess the horrors they may hold.” - William Moore; The Tome of Terrible Truths
The moment she stepped into the flowing falls that the group had decided to rest near, she felt the bite of the waters cut through her to the marrow. A familiar sensation, yelling remnants of home into her very core. Alive now as she had ever felt, as she washed away the lingering vital from her naked form. Vahalia was unscathed and such a sacrifice was simply made in retaliation of the early morning events of having the pleasure of assuming bandits on the road misjudging the four as easy targets.
'How unlucky for them…' she thought.
The water carried away what coloring and blush there was to her pale flesh, giving away to the cold skin she had grown within. It was eerie and unnatural the way she reveled in the delight of violence but such was the way for a woman who knew nothing aside from looking into the face of adversity. Clawing, biting, killing her way out of just about anything that dared to stand in her way. Perhaps it was serendipity that had her more like her father and her sister Valeria much like their mother.
Was this a burden she would have to carry upon her mantle? Of course…
Oh but of course. Who else better than she?
Valeria could keep those around her gentle; the family shield.
Vahalia on the other hand was simply a product of misfortunes and rancor. She would gladly be the sword.
Flexing her fingers, Vahalia regarded the water’s edge where the other three resided, Wren and Castien going through their supplies and preparing for what she could have guessed to be their next meal. But then there was Cordelia…
Vahalia bathed, thinking deeply as she shifted the water through her hair and Cordelia rested nearby with her parasol propped beside her and a book kept within her clutches.
Two volumes of the Cress lineage dating back to Dalmasca had been made, one of which Vahalia carried and the other had been in Cordelia’s possession until recently. It had taken Vahalia some time to get used to the notion of additional family. T’was both a blessing and a curse to be galvanized at the idea that she and Valeria weren’t the last of their line but also that incredulous itch that forever nagged at Vahalia’s thoughts about the matter.
Blood was blood, she was raised to know the importance of it but such wasn’t enough to keep Adrian from his demise.
She was the sword.
Her sharp and watchful eye cut from Cordelia and she went about tending to her form, mind racing along its track. Was Cordelia a shield or a sword? It remained to be seen but aside from the quarrel with Blythe, Vahalia had little reason to distrust her half-sister.
Cordelia could never be part Odessa, she had not been of Odessa’s blood which only made her wonder further what type of woman the Lady Gray had been. Vahalia already knew Adrian, she was all that was left of him that proved he lived, and even then there was no escaping the clutch of madness and desire that she had inherited.
On the outside, Cordelia looked much like Vahalia, the two having much of the same interests, perhaps by the Cress’ blood and design. Part of Cordelia too was from Dalmasca but she hadn’t seemed interested in delving into the depths of old knowledge and deep roots.
Perhaps part of her never wanted to know.
Two women who knew of their significance though some might have viewed it through the lens of self-importance. None had walked in their shoes, none having struck the deals they did nor traverse to the places the sisters had just to remain on top. Something to be proud of, something to protect.
A delicate hand rested to the front of her lace and onyx necklace, the warmth radiating off of it as she felt Creature’s presence ever close. Perhaps, in time, she would trust Cordelia enough to know when to share the nightmarish parts of her. The curse she had evoked for power – would that effect Cordelia as well? There was no such thing as an infallible mortal, Vahalia and Cordelia were riddled with such though far from the scope of what some would have called it failures. They had brought about change and built themselves high from the bricks thrown at them, their vicious deeds simply a product of the foundation on which they would build themselves.
Built differently. Fallible but how ironic that the fallacy of them both was simply what made them great. Enigma’s in their own right.
As Vahalia ascended the bank she dipped low to pluck the linen from her belongings to wrap it around herself, a brief gaze cut back to Cordelia the moment she felt eyes on her and the two gave silence in their stare, an almost unworldly credence between them as if for a brief second Cordelia had already known what the Lady Cress was thinking.
Perhaps Cordelia too was a sword. Only time would tell.

I'm coming home.
Zariasona had been settled into her home in Duskwood for the night. The hustle and bustle of Stormwind and the political work she had so immersed herself in was relaxing to her, yet it was also taxing. The only thing she had to look forward to was going to the Manor to see her beloved Feylonis, and their precious daughter Leandra. Leandra, who was now age five, still didn't quite understand why her Minn'da was gone all day, leaving her home with Feylonis whom she came to call mom. Feylonis wasn't alone with Leandra all day, for the manor still had the head servant, Agnes Cooke.
Feylonis had just entered into the parlor, having just put the young Leandra to bed for the night. Plopping down on the couch she sighed heavily as she buried her face into her arms on the armrest of the couch. "I am so glad she's asleep now.." The Magistrix chuckled as she set down the book she had been reading. "I know. She was a little terror today. Refused to leave my side even when I came home. I think she's still trying to get acclimated to our life. It's a shame that-" She paused, not wanting to think about the recent passing of her husband.
"Dalah'surfal.. I know. But we will be alright. The person who killed him is in the stockades for life. And thank the Light for that." Fey had been quick to move to the floor before Zariasona, grabbing hold of her hands so that she could offer any comfort she could to her.
"I know, darling. It's just-" She sniffed, her gaze shifting to the ceiling. It was clear she was trying to not cry again. "I need to get back to work. I cannot let this stop me." "Oh come on Zari, You can't bury yourself in work every time something happens like this. You do this every time."
At that moment, a heavy pounding upon the front door was heard. It was loud enough that it echoed in the foyer, and came into the parlor where Feylonis and Zariasona sat. The silence was deafening between them. Thankfully, Agnes was still up for they heard the scurried foot falls heading towards the door.
Tumblr media
The large doors creaked open, and mumbling could be heard between Agnes and another female who stood outside. "I'm sorry, you're who?" Another mumble of words came, and there was silence in the foyer. "Let me consult the Mistress. One moment." The door closed gently and Agnes was quick to stand in the entry-way of the parlor. Clearing her throat, she softly spoke. "M-Mistress. There's someone claiming to be your-" She fell silent, trying to conjure the words. Clear cut confusion was written all over Agnes' face.
"Spit it out already, Agnes. Who is at the door?" It was late, and Zariasona hated late night guests.
"Your sister."
"Impossible. Both of them perished. What is her name?"
"She says it's Kinadra, a sin'dorei of the Ebon Blade."
Zariasona was frozen, her eyes locked to Agnes. Feylonis peered up at Zaria with the same confusion as Agnes. "Surfal.. I thought you said your sisters perished? How is this-" "Send her in. Send her in now." The words were spoken so quick that they cut off Feylonis' words.
Agnes gave a quick bow before scurrying towards the door once more. As the large oak doors creaked open, both of the women could hear Agnes speak. "The Mistress will see you in the par-"
The black-cloaked figure pushed passed Agnes upon hearing it was alright to enter, not giving her the chance to finish. For a moment, a flurry of disorientation filled the woman as she sought out the room with the crackling fire. Within seconds, she was standing where Agnes had just been with her black hood covering her face, and water dripping down her form from the rain that just ended.
Zariasona was quick to lift herself to her feet, eager to see the face of the woman who claimed to be her sister. Feylonis moved just as quickly, planting herself just behind Zaria.
The hood lowered, and the straight black hair fell out of the hood with pointed ears springing to life. Blue lich fire eyes, and the same silken complexion that Zaria remembered her to have always had.
"Kinadra.." Zaria said nothing more and rushed to her sister to hug her tightly. "I thought you died." "I did." Kinadra's cold voice came. "But the Lich King brought me back. I now live under the banner of the Ebon Blade. And Zari.. I've come home. At long last, I have come home."
"Kinnie.." Zariasona hugged her tighter, and together the two sisters sobbed together before the roaring fireplace.

How To (Realistically) Make A Habit Of Writing
To clarify: Works with my autism. WORKS WITH MY AUTISM!!! I’ve been meeting my goals since I made them my New Year’s resolution! Anyway I’m so sick of all those ‘how to’ guides that don’t actually tell you what the process is they’re just like ‘just do it, but don’t burn yourself out, do what’s best for you!’ because you’re not telling me what I’m not supposed to be burning myself out over but okay, so I made my own. Hope this helps
1. Choose your fighter metric. What works better for you as a measurement of your progress; time spent writing or your word count? Personally I get very motivated and encouraged by seeing my word count go up and making a note of where it should be when I’m done, so I measure by that. At the same time, a lot of people are also very discouraged by their word count and it can negatively impact their motivation to write, and in that case you may be better off working from how much time you spend writing rather than where the word count is
2. Choose your starter Pokémon time frame. How often can you write before it starts to feel like a chore or a burden rather than something fun you look forward to? Many people believe that they have to write daily, but for some people this can do more harm than good. Maybe every two or three days? Weekly? Figure out what fits your schedule and go with it
3. Choose your funny third joke goal. Now that you’ve got your chosen time frame to complete your goal in, what’s a reasonable goal to aim to complete within that time frame based on the metric you chose? If your metric is your word count, how much can you reasonably and consistently write within your chosen time frame? If your metric is time spent writing, how much time can you reasonably and consistently spend writing within that time? Maybe 1000 words per week works, or maybe 10 minutes per day? The goal here is to find something that works for you and your own schedule without burning you out
4. Trial and error. Experiment with your new target and adapt it accordingly. Most people can’t consistently write 1667 words per day like you do in NaNoWriMo, so we want to avoid that and aim somewhere more reasonable. If you feel like it’s too much to do in such a short time frame, either give yourself less to do or more time to do it in. If you find yourself begrudgingly writing so often that it constantly feels more like a chore than something fun, maybe consider adapting things. And if you think that you gave yourself too much wiggle room and you could do more than this consistently, give yourself more of a challenge. Everything needs to suit you and your pace and needs
5. Run your own race. Don’t feel like you’re not accomplishing enough in comparison to others or not working fast enough to satisfy some arbitrary feeling of doubt. Everybody works at their own pace and slower work doesn’t mean worse work. You could be on one word per day and you’ll still see consistent results, which is still one word per day more than you could originally count on. All progress is progress, regardless of its speed

get anything you desire overnight; what is SATS? how do i use it? — a quick guide.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
STATS is short for “state akin to sleep,” a phrase used by neville goddard several times.
for example, one of neville's most popular experiments utilizing SATS is called the "ladder experiment". this experiement demonstrates how useful sats is.
what was the experiment?
1. During one of his lectures, Neville instructed his students to visualize themselves climbing a ladder vividly. He asked them to repeatedly imagine this scenario in detail each night before going to bed. They were to feel themselves climbing the ladder, using all their senses to make it as real as possible.
2. on top of this, Neville told them to write down or say affirmations throughout the day such as, "I will not climb a ladder." This was meant to consciously contradict their nightly visualizations, creating a sense of disbelief in the process. The challenge was to see whether their repeated visualization of the ladder would override the conscious denial of the event.
3. Many of the participants reported that within a few days, despite their daily affirmation of "I will not climb a ladder," they ended up encountering situations in which they physically climbed a ladder. The experiment was intended to show that the subconscious mind, which was being impressed by the vivid visualization during the SATS state, was far more powerful than their conscious thoughts or affirmations.
essentially, Neville wanted to show that imagination, particularly when focused in the relaxed state akin to sleep, could create real-life outcomes, aka — attract your desires instantly.
so . . . how do i use SATS?
1. relax. sit or lie down, and relax your mind and body. this method does not need to be used at night. many people have used it during the day and have gone to sleep for only a few moments before waking up with their desire. This is basically just a form of meditation. A similar mental state occurs naturally in the morning right after awakening, and in the evening before bed, hence why some may prefer to do this method at night despite it not being mandatory.
2. embody the feeling. now while in this state, visualize your goal. Feel your desire completely. want someone to text you? imagine yourself opening your phone to that text message. want a new car? imagine yourself feeling the interior, smelling the new car freshener, testing out the radio. whatever it is, fully immerse yourself in the desire.
3. focus and persist. loop this desire on repeat as you fall asleep, it should be the only focus on your mind. quickly shift any other thoughts that may appear, back onto your desire. the more you do this, the more you'll feel the desire completely.
brief comments;
1. over time, it becomes more and more natural. it's very easy to get into the habit of using SATS to manifest whatever you desire. i often find myself using it without even intending to, just randomly deciding i want something and it becomes all i think about as i fall asleep. it's a very natural method that's easy to custom to.
2. yes, you can use this for shifting realities. there's a reason why so many people "randomly" shift when they stop using long complicated methods and just go to sleep with their DR in mind.
3. you don't need to take action. you don't necessarily need to do anything when manifesting. this doesn't just apply for SATS, but any other form of manifestation. you don't need to take action or do anything further to get your desires if you don't feel like it. remember; they're already yours. they can fall into your hands out of the blue. you don't need to put in effort.
i used several different articles and videos for this to explain it in the most simple way possible, since i know a lot of people tend to struggle with understanding this stuff to the maximum!! so i hope this is easy to read! ૮ ◞ ⸝⸝ ◟ ྀིა
4. does this mean affirmations don't work?
no, it does not. affirmations DO still work for LOA. you CAN achieve anything through affirmations, it was never stated that you couldn't or that SATS is the only way. this only states that according to neville goddards experiement, sats appears to be a more powerful method than affirmations and that's how he viewed it. more powerful doesn't equate to the other method being completely incorrect or impossible. i also personally find this method to work a lot quicker as well.. similar to the void state.
edit; i didn't realize i wrote stats in the title and not sats lol, my mistake it was autocorrect

| September goals
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. Daily Self-Care Routine
Start small by adding one or two self-care habits to your daily routine, like stretching for 5 minutes in the morning or writing down three goals for the day ( like drinking more water ).
2. Be kind to yourself
Tip: Create a habit of switching your mindset and words. Try saying “I am capable of achieving my goals” or “I deserve to take care of myself.” instead of discarding your needs and feelings.
3. Add little challenges to your day
Try a 30-day personal challenge, like journaling every morning, starting a workout routine, or reading 10 pages of any book you like each day.
4. Dealing with burnout
Reserve one day of the week for self-care and doing things you enjoy. Even if you can't take the full day for yourself try to make it at least two hours for a good and relaxing shower, taking care of your skin, hair and body. Maybe you can even treat yourself to your favourite meal!
5. Productivity Hacks
Break tasks into smaller, manageable chunks, and set a timer (like the Pomodoro technique—50 minutes of work followed by a 10-minute break) to stay productive without feeling overwhelmed.
Tip: If a task takes less than two minutes to complete (like answering a quick email or tidying up your desk), do it immediately. This prevents small tasks from piling up and becoming overwhelming.
Tumblr media
That's all!! Tell me if you'd like more tips.
Stay healthy, stay happy and be kind!

AuguSnippets is an event that encourages the short and sweet of the whump genre. Ideally, your drabbles would be under 500 or even under 100 words, maybe even just a dialogue prompt. This, however, does not mean I won't reblog longer prompt fills! Don't stress too much on that limit. I just think it's sometimes nice to challenge yourself to write shorter drabbles, and it can also work as a very good exercise to write daily or semi-daily, and it doesn't need a lot of prep.
As for tagging your work, please use the appropriate trigger warnings. This is so everyone can stay safe and avoid potentially triggering topics while participating. Also, if your work is nsfw, please don't forget to tag it as mature content! If your work is not tagged properly, I won't be able to reblog it! Thank you!
Our special tag will be "#augusnippets day [x]". On the first day that would be "#augusnippets day 1". This is so I and others can find your work easier! You can also tag the blog, that's an even more surefire way to get me to notice your prompt fill :)
Is this a writing only event?
Yeah, this one is exclusively writing focused.
Do I have to use the special tag or tag this blog?
Not if you don't want to get featured on this blog :) It's just so I can find your work easier and reblog it here! If that's not something you're interested in, just scribble away without it.
Is the "under 500" a hard limit for the word count?
No, but I encourage everyone to try and keep to it in the spirit of this event.
Can I submit nsfw works?
Yes! Just please tag it properly :)
Can I mix and match the prompts from different paths?
Yes! Have fun!
What do I need to do to get the completionist badge?
Either you need to complete one whole path, or complete 10 prompt fills altogether while mixing and matching. Those who complete all 30 days (and maybe even the bonus day) will get something extra special!
Can I write fandom related things?
Yes! This event is both for original characters and fandom related writing.
Will there be an AO3 collection?
Yes! Here

what comes after level 0? like, level 1; 2; 3; 4; 5; etc.
Level 0 is getting yourself to a base level of daily self discipline, taking care of your health and appearance, and having things to do besides scrolling all day. The bare minimum of feeling good about yourself long term and being a functioning person.
Level 1 is to figure out what’s wrong with your life and come up with a tangible and measurable plan on how to fix it. What to cut out, what to invite in, how long it’ll take to save up for xyz, what credit score you need for such and such, what habits need to be dropped immediately, etc. Figuring out how to go from who you are now to the early stages of who you want to be. Level 1 is coming to terms with who and are and what you want, doing the research, and making a game plan. It's making sure you don't keep sliding backwards. Why is this level 1 and not level 0? Bc when people are in a subpar place, taking an audit of how they’ve failed themselves leads to more despair and a feeling of hopelessness. People who have gotten themselves to a semblance of health and daily discipline will do this and feel revved up for a challenge.
If you’ve been working out every day, eating well, taking care of your looks, enjoying your hobbies and taking 30 minutes to build a skill you’ve always wanted to learn, you’re gonna be feeling great. And when it’s time to sit down and apply for new jobs it won’t feel as daunting. When it’s time to sit down and write that essay, it won’t be as hard. When you decide to start saving $200 a month, you’ll be excited about it instead of feeling deprived. Level 1 is a very short level and you shouldn't be here for long at all.
Level 2 and up will vary greatly from person to person as it's about putting your money where your mouth is and really putting in work. No more info hoarding, no more restless nights trying to figure out what you want. It's go time. It could include more schooling, working, rebranding yourself, putting yourself out there, not buying new clothes or eating out bc you're saving money hardcore, ramping it up at the gym, or whatever else you planned out. You stfu and do the work. It's uncomfortable bc you won't allow your brain to sabotage you into stopping. You're becoming a new person. Level 2 will likely last a long time since rome wasn't built in a day and whatever you're trying to accomplish will probably take a fair amount of work.
Level 3+ is simply when you are reaching milestones and you are able to assess where you are and see what lies ahead. You have to replan, reformulate, and get back to work. You have to decide if you should keep this job or accept that new offer you just got and weigh out the pros and cons of each. You have to push a bit harder to firmly cement yourself into the next area rather than remain a newbie. At this point, you're a bit of an authority figure. You know what you're doing and you've been at it for a while. This is totally your new normal. This is just your life now.

⑅ Self Discipline ⑅
Tumblr media
Self-discipline is like having a personal cheerleader in your head, helping you stay focused and achieve your goals. It's the ability to control and direct yourself, making choices that align with your long-term objectives rather than giving in to immediate impulses. Think of it as the secret sauce for personal growth, productivity, and success. It involves setting priorities, making conscious decisions, and consistently putting in effort to reach your desired outcomes. Self-discipline empowers you to stay on track, overcome challenges, and ultimately become the best version of yourself.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Let's break down the essence of self-discipline in dfrnt aspects of your life
1. Morning Routine Magic:
Your morning routine is like crafting a daily sanctuary. Beyond skincare, imagine incorporating moments of tranquility like yoga or a quick workout. It's not just a checklist; it's setting the stage for a day of conquering.
2. To-Do List Love:
Your to-do list is a dynamic tool, more than a mere inventory of tasks. It's a glam planner, outlining your roadmap to success. Writing down your ambitions transforms them into tangible goals, making the conquest all the more empowering.
3. Snack on Goals, Not Junk:
Goals aren't just targets; they're your daily sustenance. Instead of mindless snacking, consider each accomplished task as a delicious victory bite, satisfying your hunger for achievement.
4. Wardrobe Power Moves:
Dressing for success isn't a superficial act; it's about embodying confidence. Your outfit becomes a statement, shaping your mindset for the day. It's akin to wearing a tangible boost of self-assurance. I want you to wear for the day you want, not the day you have !!!
5. Breaks Aren't Breakdowns:
Taking breaks is a strategic recharge, not a sign of weakness. It's not about slacking off but strategically powering up. These moments are not breakdowns; they are breakthroughs, allowing you to return with renewed sparkle. So don't beat yourself up when your really need the rest :)
6. Learn, Don't Stress:
In the face of challenges, see them as opportunities for growth. Self-discipline is not a pursuit of perfection but a commitment to a journey of continual learning. Remember, nobody is born with all the answers; it's about evolving.
7. Consistency is the Glow-Up Secret:
Consistency is more than a routine; it's the highlighter of your life's narrative. It infuses your journey with an extra pop, turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. Even on tough days, maintaining consistency becomes your guiding light.
8. Celebrate Small Wins:
Every step toward your goals, irrespective of size, is a cause for celebration. It's not just recognizing achievements; it's throwing a confetti party for yourself. Celebrate not just the destination but the entire journey.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
9. Consistent Routine:
Envision self-discipline as a daily sanctuary, akin to your skincare routine. Skipping it is like neglecting a crucial step in your beauty ritual. Embrace it daily for a consistent, empowering glow.
10. Setting Goals:
Picture self-discipline as the GPS that is guiding you to your dreams. Establish small, attainable goals as waypoints on your journey. These goals serve as markers, leading you steadily toward your grand aspirations.
11. Prioritizing Tasks:
Think of self-discipline as your wise older sister, advising you on what truly matters. Prioritize tasks that contribute to your glow-up, whether it's acquiring a new skill or taking care of your well-being.
12. Resisting Temptations:
It's important to saying no to that extra slice of cake when you know you're full. Self-discipline aids in resisting temptations that might divert you from your goals, whether it's procrastination or unhealthy habits.
13. Building Habits:
Like establishing a routine of daily water intake, self-discipline helps in cultivating positive habits. These habits become second nature, contributing to your overall well-being and success.
14. Time Management:
Imagine self-discipline as a magical time-turner. It assists in managing your time wisely, allowing you to balance academics, self-care, and the pursuit of your passions effectively.
15. Learning from Mistakes:
Self-discipline is forgiving; it encourages learning from mistakes rather than dwelling on them. It's a compassionate guide, acknowledging that growth comes from understanding and overcoming challenges.
16. Celebrating Achievements:
Consider self-discipline your personal cheerleader. It not only recognizes but actively celebrates your achievements, big or small, in your journey of self-improvement and success.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Visualize self-discipline as your personal superhero cape, guiding you through the journey of glowing up and being super productive. You're on the path to becoming a true girlboss.
Keep shining doll !
Xoxo signing off,
Angela ꒰⑅ᵕ༚ᵕ꒱˖♡
ps: this is my first post I hope it was informative enough as I am also in my own journey of being better mentally and physically and I see self discipline as something essential for that to happen.

60 Days Challenge ༉‧₊˚
This is like my own version of the 75 Day Hard Challenge. For the next two months, I will follow these daily rules:
Follow a meal plan.
Drink 8-10 glasses of water.
Exercise daily.
Read 10 pages of any book.
Follow a morning and night routine.
Less than 3 hrs of screen time.
Keep track everyday.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. Meal Plan:
I will add vegetables or fruits at each meal and fast 16:8 three times a week. I will focus on eating in moderation and adding healthy foods rather than restricting some type of food.
2. Hydration:
In addition to water, I will have two cups of tea (one in the morning and one at night). I won't drink anything else.
3. Exercise:
I will do some form of exercise every day, for at least 30 minutes, and I will stretch for at least 10 minutes. The main goal is to move !!! so I will do whatever suits my day the most.
4. Reading:
I love reading ! The minimum is 10 pages, but I'll try to read as much as possible. This will also be a way of not spending too much time on the phone.
5. Daily routines:
I want to start and end the day the right way. I created my routines based on what was best for me and my schedule. For example, my morning routine is short and simple because I don't have a lot of time, and my night routine is focused on relaxing because otherwise I have a hard time sleeping.
6. Less than 3 hrs of screentime:
This doesn't include time in screens for school. My goal here is to limit the time I spend on social media and spend that time on other activities instead. I will probably only use that time for my duolingo lessons, watch a movie or post on tumblr, and I will set a timer everytime I use a screen.
7. Keep a record:
I will keep a record here of how I feel every day during this challenge. The goal with this is to realize what works and what doesn't, in order to improve. I also think it's easier for me to stay on track if I write it down somewhere.

I need a new muse. Been seeing these posts do well, so here's the launch of an idea! All for cap fun!
NOTE - This will all be for an original character. Being openly trans, I don't wish to lie about any aspect of that. As such, this isn't a #sissifyme post that is about me. It's the star of the captions that you'll be responsible for. It wouldn't be all that interesting to watch me feminise myself because I do that stuff on the daily and I'm proud of it haha
Here's how it will work, if it works.
1. This post will have caption 1 under it. Our main character, Callum, is going to start a #sissifyme challenge. It will be led ON THIS BLOG.
2. Every reblog, like and comment builds towards a goal.
3. The goals will be 'completed' via captions that I will write.
4. Suggest tasks, suggest goals. You can control this more than I can! You can even send in caps (via asks ofc since my messages are privated. My moots can obv send whatever, and I ENCOURAGE IT!)
5. We see where Callum goes, and how far it goes.
6. Each point on the OG post adds a day to his chastity timer. You know, gotta keep that realistic. He starts with a 1 week timer
Let's see what type of sissy girl we can create with just captions and the power of this amazing community!
STORY START
Tumblr media
Callum: Here we go, then. Do your worst.
10 points - I need to follow 3 sissy blogs and reblog a post from each.
25 points - I will use a girly name online for challenge duration. Suggestions are welcome, but I won't need them.
50 points - Change phone wallpaper to something girly
100 points - a day in panties. No chance of getting there though.
Back to G2G
-
Want to feminise Callum? Let's go, girls! Make "my" life hell, and caps will follow lol

FuckNoWriMo
Here's my official Writing Challenge Post for anyone who wants to play along.
FuckNoWriMo will be held December 2024 for this year only, and will be held in March from 2025 on. Due to the terminology being used, this is probably an 18+ event, but I swore like a sailor at 12, and it's not like I can stop you from participating.
How to Participate:
Decide you want to write during the month of the event.
Write.
Bonus!
3. Post and share that you're writing, and what you're writing if you want \o/ 4. Tag your posts with #fnowrimo or #fucknowrimo
Want more structure? Certainly, allow me.
Pick one of the categories to run with and set that as your goal for the month:
A Word, if I May?: Write at least 31 words for the month.
Get That Shit Outlined: Write at least 1,000 words for the month. (33 words a day)
Give it the Gusto!: Write at least 5,000 words for the month. (162 words a day)
Hell Yeah, Write!: Write at least 10,000 words for the month. (323 words a day)
Words At Work: Write at least 20,000 words for the month. (646 words a day)
Punctuated: Write at least 35,000 words for the month. (1,130 words a day.)
Fuck It: Write at least 50,000 words for the month. (1,613 words a day)
Crazy 88 (it's a Kill Bill reference): Write at least 100,000 words for the month. (3,225 words a day)
Please note you may write anything:
An outline, several outlines, rough draft(s), poetry, journaling, lyrics, role-play with your friends, a campaign idea for a table top game, the script for a movie, show, visual novel, etc., notes to defend your dissertation, recipes, to-do lists - you get the point.
If you want to breakdown the granular concepts of an old historic text on index cards for shits and giggles, that counts too!
The event is less about the quality of the end result, and more about creating a habit to write daily. If you don't want to spend a lot of time fixing and editing a harried rough draft, then don't worry about the word count at all.
0 is a valid word count for the day. So is 1, or 10, or 100 or all those little numbers we often get discouraged seeing.
But set aside some time during the month, and write some fucking words, hell, write some words fucking. A real alphabet orgy. Be silly, weird, cringe, strange, gross, problematic, thematic - whatever \o/
Just write it yourself. I don't care if you dictate it, use the hunt and peck method, a pen, pencil, quill, or chisel.
But for the love of all that's holy -
No Generative AI
That's the only rule.

The "Alt" NaNoWriMo Challenge
I'm a big fan of NaNoWriMo and the energy the event breathes into the writing community. Hundreds of thousands of people start working on their novels at the same time. Lots of people share their progress and cheer each other on. Several now-famous authors have started their best-selling novels during NaNo over the years.
That said, it's not for everyone. Writing 50,000 words per month is a serious commitment. Doing it alongside school or work is no joke. In fact, most people who sign up don't finish. According to these stats, only 1-2 out of every 10 participants complete the challenge.
I've never joined NaNoWriMo myself. I'm a slow writer, and I know that I would burn out. Instead, I set a different writing-related challenge for myself every November.
In 2018, I started reading one short story every day. It turned into a regular habit, and I ended up reading hundreds of short stories over the following few months.
Last year, I wanted to build a 30-day writing streak. In the end, I wrote for 232 days in a row. 2023 became the most productive year of my writing life by far with over 250,000 words written.
This year, I will be doing something similar, and I want to invite you to come along for the ride.
The Idea of "AltNaNo"
The idea of finishing a novel in a month seems outrageous to most people. That's what makes it so compelling. It's like standing at the foot of a snowcapped mountain with a rope and a couple of ice picks. The challenge itself is inspiring.
The AltNaNo challenge is the exact opposite. The goal is as small as possible on purpose. The focus isn't to achieve this massive feat but to squash all excuses and merely start writing.
You may not be able to write 50,000 words in a month. But almost everyone can find 15 minutes to write every day.
The Challenge
Tumblr media
The goal is simple: Write for at least 15 minutes every day in November.
Writing 100 words and calling it a day after 15 minutes is a success.
Spending longer and writing 500 words is a success.
Wrestling with a difficult scene for 15 minutes and writing only a single sentence is a success.
Spending 15 minutes trying to write after a long day and not producing a single word is a success, too.
Be a tortoise. We all know how the story goes.
How to Join
I've set up daily challenges for the first week in Writing Analytics, if you wanted to join us there:
Day 1/30 ✅
Day 2/30 ✅
Day 3/30 ✅
Day 4/30 ✅
Day 5/30 ✅
Day 6/30 ✅
Day 7/30 ✅
I'll be posting daily updates on the blog as well.
PS: If you'd like to learn more about developing a writing habit, check out this free course I launched a few weeks ago.

The Subtle Art of Becoming "That Girl" in 2024 🌸✨
°❀°•❀•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°•°❀°
Tumblr media
Hello beautiful souls! It's me, Hana. If you are new reader then
Hi! I’m Hanalia and I want to empower women to prioritize their well-being while pursuing their dreams🌟
Today, I woke up feeling extra inspired by the #thatgirl aesthetic. You know her – she's the girl who embodies self-love, radiates positivity, and just seems to have her life beautifully organized. Personally, I believe, she's not just a trend; she's a movement towards becoming the best version of ourselves. And guess what? Becoming "that girl" isn't about perfection; it's about progress. It's about embracing the journey of self-improvement, self-care, and love. So, let's dive into a few ways you can bring a little bit of "that girl" magic into your everyday life:
1. Morning Rituals ✨
Start your day with purpose. Whether it's a morning skincare routine, meditation, or writing down your thoughts in a daily planner, find what centers you. If you have been following me for a while then you know how important this is. Remember, it's these small rituals that set the tone for a productive, positive day.
2. Self-Care Sundays 🛁
Dedicate time each week to pamper yourself. This could be a long bath, a skincare routine, or even a cozy evening with a book. It's all about showing yourself some love and appreciation.
I remember back in my childhood my older sister used to always have pamper sundays and I would always try and follow her footsteps however, back then your girl was as lazy as one can be...so zero exceptions. Be better than me girls and make the future you be proud.
3. Clean Girl Aesthetic 🌿
Embrace the clean girl aesthetic with a minimalist wardrobe, clean makeup looks, and a tidy space. A clutter-free environment not only looks good but also brings a sense of calm and order to your mind. Clean home = clean mind + remember clean body
4. Find Your Fitness Love 💕
Whether it's pink pilates, yoga, or a brisk walk in the park, find a physical activity that you love. It's not just about the physical benefits but the mental clarity and energy boost it brings.
5. Nourish to Flourish 🍓
Eating well is a form of self-respect. Fill your plate with colors, textures, and nutrients. It's not just about looking good, but feeling good from the inside out.
6. Learn and Grow 🌱
Embrace new hobbies, read more books, and challenge yourself to learn something new often. Growth is a huge part of becoming "that girl".
7. Stay Organized 📒
Invest in a good daily planner to keep track of your goals, appointments, and to-dos. There's something incredibly satisfying about ticking off tasks and staying on top of your game.
And here's a little secret for you: part of my "that girl" journey includes creating pieces that speak to my soul. I stumbled upon this adorable shop aka my Shop [GlowInGrow] that just screams self-care and love. My THAT GIRL planner is something that I did with love and my own hands. For me, it's not just a planner, it's my way of helping others because that's what being her is. Being her means she shares her secrets to help the rest of the girlies. MESSAGE ME FOR THE PROMO CODE *hint*
Also this planner has got you covered from setting your intentions and tracking your habits to planning your meals and self-care routines perfect for anyone looking to add that extra touch of mindfulness and beauty to their daily routine. It's subtle, but oh, so beautiful. 🌟
AND REMEMBER;
Becoming "that girl" isn't an overnight transformation. It's about making small, meaningful changes that align with who you are and who you aspire to be. Let's embrace this journey together, one step at a time. 💕
Last but not least, at the end of your journey of becoming that girl awaits the future who is The Girl!
Stay safe and stay hot...
With Love, Hanalia

Daily Ficlet 4
I'm challenging myself to write a little ficlet every day, using the prompts from this list. Today's prompt is jukebox.
-
Steve's oh moment comes to him at The Hideout of all places. Dingy, dirty, with a bartender who served Will Byers a drink without so much as pretending to contemplate if he should or not.
The point Steve is making is he's just realized he might be a lot in love with Eddie and that it's not exactly the most romantic of settings. They're all here because they came to watch Corroded Coffins first gig since before... well, since Before.
Before Vecna. Before spring break. Before Steve was even aware of his attraction to guys.
A lot of Before that led them to this now. This oh.
It wasn't watching Eddie in his element, up on the stage. Seeing that for the first time was actually a Before thing, too. Steve's been to The Hideout before. The same bartender served Steve a beer back when he was a sophomore and Tommy H had heard the rumor that they didn't card here. The first time he'd watched Eddie Munson in his element had been shortly after his graduation, coming here to pretend he wasn't as alone as he felt as he drank a beer or two.
Watching Eddie on the stage knowing he has a crush on him certainly made the show better but didn't push him from crush to in love.
It also wasn't after, watching Eddie and Robin have a silent conversation of only gestures and eyebrows and pointed looks, though it did make Steve rush with adoration for them both. Knowing that Eddie and Robin got a long so well, cared to each other, made something settle inside Steve's bones. Steve hasn't been serious with anyone since Starcourt, and he's aware enough to know it's because he can't explain his codependency to Robin to anyone. Not with the truth, or in a way they're understand. He wouldn't need to do that with Eddie.
It wasn't that Eddie had then come checked on him, either. Asking if the place was too loud, and how Steve's head was doing. Steve had just recovered from a migraine and Eddie was worried about this bringing it back. It hadn't. The ear plugs were great. And Eddie beamed at him.
No. None of those were the oh, though they were all reason enough.
No, the oh was this.
Watching Eddie 'metalhead' Munson teach Will, El, Dustin, Lucas and Erica how to square dance. He'd tried to coax Mike onto the floor but that wasn't happening, and Max couldn't with her crutches still, but she'd promised to learn from Lucas once she was on the mend.
Eddie had pilfered most of Steve's quarters and slid them into the jukebox, picking the same country song 5 times in a row for the kids to practice to. "Just to wait, Stevie. These kids'll be winning square dancing trophies when I'm done."
Steve had laughed, sipping on his beer as Eddie danced his way to the jukebox.
And here, on the fifth song, watching Eddie improvise some swing dancing into their established routine with Erica being easily twirled about, trying to glare at Eddie for picking her but also doing nothing to stop him from throwing her around the dance floor, Steve thinks oh.
Oh. I love him.
He stands and heads to the jukebox, and queues up the same song once more, then turns to the group. "Alright Munson, teach me, too!"
Dustin whoops, Erica slips back into her place in line, and Eddie beams at him, hand outstretched and waiting.
