Looking For Sponsors

The need is great this year. The group I started to try to help people get sponsored for Christmas is already at 300 members. There are a few sponsors in the group but the need this year is unreal.

I have people who are domestic violence survivors, disabled children, children who just recently lost a parent, etc. The list goes on.

We need more sponsors. Last year, we were able to help 25 families. It wasn't much, but at least we were able to make sure many kids had a little something to open Christmas day.

i hate to ask Tumblr, but i have to.

my daughter and i moved out on our own in June. previously, we had been living with my mother and aunt, both of whom were pretty emotionally abusive. we have cut off most ties with them but just being out of the house has helped us immensely.

the tough part is that i am now a single mom having to pay rent and bills for the first time ever. no one ever told me just how hard that is. most weeks, i only have about $100 leftover from my paychecks. that has to wash our clothes, put gas in the car and feed us!

as such, i realize we need some help for Christmas. because Lilli is 14, she no longer qualifies for programs like Angel Tree, which sucks, because teens deserve Christmas too.

Unhappy New Year 😭

As everyone celebrates New Year’s Eve 🎉 and prepares to welcome a new year filled with hope and joy, I find myself alone in the darkness of pain and suffering 😢. The shelling by the occupation's aircraft has destroyed my home 🏚️ and deeply wounded me, as shrapnel from the explosion has entered my body.

I underwent surgery 🏥, but unfortunately, it was unsuccessful due to the **collapse of the healthcare system** in Gaza. The doctors told me that the only solution is to travel to a country with an advanced healthcare system 🌍 to remove the shrapnel, but the road to recovery is not easy.

I have created a fundraising campaign 💖, but so far I have only been able to raise **1,000/10,000 Euros** needed. This amount is not enough to cover the treatment costs.

**Tonight, I wish that all friends would donate whatever they can, so I can expedite my treatment process.** While everyone celebrates the beginning of a new year 🥳, I am living with unbearable pain all the time. So, I wish I was just posting this to say Merry Christmas, which I do wish that for all of you, but this is actually a desperate plea.

I have been manic for the past two days, and all that I feel will help me make it through the next day is to make myself some of the Christmas sweets that I usually have by won't this year. I am lucky enough to have regular food thanks to an amazing friend, so I know this isn't a necessity.

Christmas Help

Last year, I created a FB group to help those in need for Christmas. We helped members, who needed help to give their loved ones something to unwrap on Christmas morning, get sponsored. We were able to get several families sponsored.

This year, the homelessness issue was getting to be too much. I wasn't sure whether or not I wanted to do the group again. I wasn't sure if I would even be able to with our daily lives up in the air all the time.

Since we finally have a home, I have decided to try to keep the blessing moving forward. I have gone ahead and gotten the group up and running.

We need sponsors. The need continues to be great and many families are facing some very tough real life issues from a parent passing away to individuals escaping domestic violence and having to start over.

I'm sharing a link to the group everywhere to try to get some help. If anyone would like to sponsor a family (it is not required for sponsors to buy everything on the wishlists) it would help to give a good Christmas to someone in need. I want to be able to help even more people this year!

🚨🚨Merry Christmas My body is full of iron fragments😭

Have you ever been frustrated? I don't think so. I felt it today. I had to see the doctor because of the severe pain I have been in for two days, but unfortunately I couldn't go because I didn't have the money for the examination and also I didn't have the money to take a taxi to the hospital😭.

I'm frustrated because for two days I have only collected two donations😭😭 so I hope all my friends donate to me or write me a new post on their pages so that the whole world can see how much pain I am in and so that they can help me collect the costs of my surgery as soon as possible.
