Hey, isn't it so..."Great" that Viv is out here liking posts that clearly find moments where Angel is being sexual with his rapist "Hot" How much more telling can this all get, right? We really sit here, having to explain how fucked up it is to take SA, try to tackle it "seriously" but then proceed to not even do it for that reason. Only for it to be for angst and goon material. I found this reblogged by an artist I follow and really, really like, not just as an artist, but as a person.

She's even called my her friend before.

She also has this in her pinned post: "This is a safe place for everyone to enjoy what they want without judgement. I don't mind who enjoys my content and who does not." I kinda figured that might have been a lie because a lot of people who claim they're "tolerant" are really only tolerant to people they already agree with, but I couldn't know for sure if that was true in this case or not.

It’s become pretty obvious over the last few years that anyone who describes their blog as a “safe place” means that it’s a safe place for left wing minorities who all have the same opinions and don’t have to worry about the mean scary conservatives so anytime I see a message like that I pretty much immediately know it doesn’t apply to me and that the person who wrote it will not like me.

And like you’ve seen, most of the time they don’t even mean because they turn right around and post the most mean spirited judgmental things without even hearing people out and trying to make them feel bad and unwelcome. It’s incredibly hypocritical.

Now, it’s a lot harder to move past that when it’s someone you’re close to or consider a friend. Like I can deal with people calling me a Nazi all day long but when it comes from someone in my family it hurts a little bit. So I understand being caught off guard and feeling upset. It’s a really mean message.

Right now tensions are still really high. It’s only two days since the election and the Kamala voters are still dealing with the fact that they lost. They’re upset and angry and we all already know the only way they deal with their problems and emotions is by lashing out at those around them.

If it were me, I might give her some time to calm down. If she is able to move on from this I’m sure she’ll go back to her once pleasant self and you might even be able to gently approach her on the subject. People need to understand it’s not ok to talk about others like that just because you’re mad.

If this is a friendship that’s important to you then don’t give up on it. Just try to be patient, kind and understanding and be living proof that she’s wrong. On the other hand, if you don’t think she is the kind of person who will see reason and is going to live out the behavior of that post you are not obligated to subject yourself to such treatment because you don’t deserve it.

I figured I'll post a quick tutorial for y'all since I keep seeing posts with screenshots that could be very easily described.

This can be done both from mobile and from your computer, in like half a minute.

Basically all you need to do is open the images in Google Lens:

Then just press on the post's text and copy it. Simple as that.

Then to add the image id, you have two options: alt text or text under the image.

For alt text, while you're making a post, just press the three dots on the image. Then just describe in a few words a screenshot of what it is, and paste the content of it.

If you're adding it in a reblog or just don't wanna use alt text for some reason, I usually add clear indicators of where the image description starts and where it ends. This format is pinned in my clipboard:

That's it. That's all you have to do. If you do this for waterboarded screenshot do it before the waterboarding because it makes it harder for Google lens to recognise the text. Also make sure to read what you copied because it can still make mistakes.

For most of you, this is in regards to leaving a home/ a relationship in which there are toxicity & arguments, a religion, institution, and/or some kind of structured routine/tradition. Will you let go of this completely or take a break while you find yourself? The choice is yours this month but you can't stay where you are.

You don't need the answers right away. You need to practice self care and rest. When you let go of the attachment of knowing and you're in a healthier mindset is when you'll receive the answers in time.

Go within instead of focusing on the outside. The answers lay within you; in your heart space. Let go of the past and what doesn't serve you in order to move on. The uncertainty and confusion you're experiencing is from being ungrounded.

Ground yourself and spend time in nature. Focus on yourself and take this time to detach yourself from others. Seek spiritual truths and nurture your connection to your soul, intuition, and the universe.

Meditate. Do things that make you feel good about yourself and your appearance. Affirmations in the mirror, bath bombs, makeup, massages, etc.

You feel the call to something different; a need to shake things up in your life. A vacation. World travel. Learning new things, perspectives, cultures. Meeting new people. You're bored and tired of the mundane, repetitive, day-to-day life. A party with good friends would serve you well.

You need fun, excitement, and to feel like you're serving a purpose in life; something that has meaning. But what is that exactly? You feel directionless and like you don't know where to go.

Pile Two :

Patience is needed this month. This is a long-term vision; it requires nurturing and growth. People don't start off as managers with no experience. You have the inherent ability to take the leadership role and master of your life. There's a definite emphasis of this here in this pile.

You just need to take things step by step and day to day. Figure out what it is this person you're wanting to reconcile with needs and how you can best show up for this person. Study and train in regards to this and your career.

This doesn't mean allowing toxicity or sacrificing your health to validate others' illusions. It just means holding a space for them to be their whole selves; flaws and all. It means having healthy boundaries and walking away when they can't be honored.

Dare to have faith that reconciliation and forgiveness is not only possible; it's being gifted to you by the universe. Have trust and faith that all is well and is working out for the higheat good. Trust your intuition. If now is not the time, something is being prepared so that it can one day be.

Enjoy the journey. Be present and more involved in your life. Don't allow perfectionism prevent you from starting. Allow yourself to make mistakes. Failures are your way to success. "Bad" and "good" are for the greater good.

Some of you are a more masculine/logical/action-orientated person being called towards a feminine/receptive/intuitive person and/or nature. Follow this calling and you will reap rewards.

Pile Three :

You feel that a decision you make will either bring you material success & isolate you from your loved ones or have you compromising your dreams while maintaining your relationships. You may have fought over this with them. They don't want you to move away. But you're not seeing the full picture; there is a balanced solution. A third option. You can have the best of both worlds.

I feel that those you've had arguments with are scared of losing you and are too focused on this. They're not quite seeing your side. Despite their words, you're not selfish and conceited for wanting to follow your dreams. It's not like you want to work so much or move so far away you won't be able to interact enough with them. Ironically, they're the ones focusing too much on their own view point.

You feel stuck. Neither ways of being are something you'd be truly happy in.

The outcome of this argument will be fair. When you have patience and don't blindly steamroll ahead to your desires, you can have redemption and forgiveness. For alot of you, this is with those from childhood/people you've known for a long time/your mother.

Find the in-between. Not the black or white - the grey. The right decision is the one that takes courage and faith. Trust the path that you feel called towards. There will be equal give and take in these relationships and a mutual respect for eachothers' wants and needs.

An example of this is, if your work requires you to move - you can find a place halfway between home and work, visit home often, work from home, find the same type of job offer closer by, etc.

I didn’t want to derail your post, @the-alarm-system because I felt that your post is important and should stand on its own, but I also wanted to address that you screenshotted my tags here:

I want to explain what I meant by my tags, as I feel like you may have misunderstood what I was saying. l am supportive of endos existing. I've made that clear on more than one occasion on my blog! I meant I don’t like the phrase “the future is plural” because of the ambiguity of it and the fact that it’s been so misconstrued by so many. I feel like a better phrase that is less likely to be misunderstood would benefit the plural community but I’m not sure what that could be.

From the lens of endogenic plurality flourishing + plurality acceptance and education, I don't mind the phrase "the future is plural." I know plenty of endo systems and they are fine people who deserve to exist how they like! The only reason I don’t like that phrase is the ambiguity and how misunderstood it tends to be, and like I said, I think a phrase that is still concise but less likely to be misunderstood would be useful. I just, again, don’t know what that would be. I truthfully think it tends to be misunderstood because traumagenic systems are applying it to their own experiences (it’s what I did and why I was not liking the phrase at first, not realizing it was referring to endo plurals) and so of course we wouldn’t want the future to be plural because that means kids are being traumatized. However, from an endogenic system’s perspective and them applying it to their own experience with plurality, I can definitely see why they coined the phrase and mean it in the “I want more systems to exist” because a majority of endogenic plurals don’t see their systems as having come from trauma, which means endo plurality increasing =/= children being traumatized in order to exist as plural.

As an aside, I needed to update my “lean toward anti endos” verbiage anyway. I wrote that like…a year ago, maybe more, when I was still on the fence about the whole thing. At this point I’m pretty sure most anti endos aren’t a fan of my stance and so wouldn’t want me associating with them anyway. I say syscourse neutral because I don’t take sides in syscourse and typically don’t engage with it as much as possible for my own sake. Syscourse feels like a toxic minefield more often than not and I don’t like participating. I’m chronically terrible at updating my socials, so than a recent deletion of all of our alter info on our pinned post + an updated DNI, I don’t think we’ve updated that top portion in ages. So, thanks for pointing that out so I can change that as I didn’t realize that was still there.

Hello, this is our blog for alterhuman/nonhuman and plural things mainly. This was originally made for my fictionkin/ockin; Zuki Shay Hara-Lupo. Who is a noncanon MHA/BNHA being/creature.

Here's a bit more info on my canon for Zuki Shay Hara-Lupo. It was divergent from the manga and anime. If you want to know more about my canon, send in an ask, or you can see some things on my original intro posts. The only thing I will mention here is that UA was a college instead of a high school, so my class and I were all 18 at the start of the first year at UA.

In this life, the body is currently 19, so keep that in mind. We don't mind minors interacting. Just know I (the host) am more hesitant to interact with minors myself.

We try and make sure our posts are all tagged well, especially for tw or cw, if you see a post of ours that doesn't have a tw or cw that needs to be tagged tagged, then let us know and we'll fix it.

Oooooooh boy! It's unfinished art time!

Now, I just want to preface this with these pieces are unfinished for a reason...

A personal reason...

I'm not doing fnaf stuff anymore. It has been 8-9 years since I first started following the fnaf franchise. And I feel like I need to move on.

Not that I've 'matured' past it, but I've grown apart from it. As I got older, my relationship with the franchise just started to feel like a bad long-distance romance.

I can't feel for Fnaf the same way I did when I was a kid.

Especially after so much shit went down with people from my childhood in like the past 4-6 months.

This doesn't mean that I won't still follow and support the fnaf artists that I currently do (you guys are awesome, btw!). It just means that I myself will be taking a step back.

The last fnaf post I will make is a sun/moon redesign. And after that I'll be done, maybe for now, maybe forever. Who knows? But while some things are best left forgotten, I don't want to forget the time I had at Freddy's.

Because for all the blotches and blemishes, it was beautiful.

Anyways, it's art time! The first one was supposed to be a crossover piece between my aus FNaF: Ties that bind, Transformers: Armageddon, and FNaF: Extraordinary.

Each villian confronting a different Charlie in all three parts of the image.

@soniccrazygal 's take on the character would be looking at Tf: Armageddon Shockwave in his 'M.X.E.S' form as he invades the Pizzaplex's security system.

@nachosforfree 's Charlie would be evading the murderous version of herself in Fazbear Frights.

And @north-noire 's Charlie would be confronting FNaF: Extraordinary Carlton as his spirit piloted the creation.

Im sorry I couldn't finish these love letters to your aus. I just lost the motivation.

I didn't finish it for all the reasons above, plus I hate Sonic.exe. and in this au, Andrew was meant to take that role.

my thoughts on the instagram ai situation, as a digital artist on the platform

figured i’d write and share this around so others in the community i’m in know my status. sooo, some basics for starters:

“Are you leaving Instagram? Where can I find you active?”

i’m staying on instagram for the time being. seeing as instagram almost certainly already has the data of my past posts, i won’t be deleting anything; going forward, i’ll be using ai disturbance filters and other anti-ai overlays for any stills i post. i anticipate using instagram for reels primarily, as well as staying in communications with mutuals and other artists. i do have a cara account, but will likely be posting intermittently until some issues i’ve noticed get addressed. going forward, i’ll most likely be at my most active over here! growth, fortunately, never was a priority in my social media presence so i’m not super concerned about that.

tldr:

instagram: gonna continue posting reels and occasional stills, will be primarily focused on interacting with fellow artists

here: most active! will post both rough and polished stills, as well as lore and whatever random thoughts pop into my head. (see pinned post for a tag guide)

Some things we do to help improve communication and trust between headmates!

We have a private discord server with Pluralkit- the most important channels we have in it are the venting channel and the system-chatter channels, for, well, venting and talking to each other respectively

We also sometimes leave notecards or physical notes! Our disability affects our hands sometimes, so if writing by pencil is too difficult, sometimes a headmate will leave a notecard simply saying that they've left something in the notes app on our phone

Relating to the venting channel, we try not to read through other headmates vents and messages unless there's something specific we need or, for whatever reason, it's necessary. This includes vents in our private server, but also conversations between headmates and our friends! Even if we share all the memories (mostly), it still feels more correct to respect that privacy

This last point also applies to things like drawings- it's a bit harder to avoid seeing those sometimes, since we often have to flip or scroll past to get to a new page, but we do our best, especially if the headmate who made it seems to have wanted it more private (e.g. vent art)

We have another spot in our private server where we put links to important messages in servers! In a server with just a friend or two, we can ask that we pin the message, but this doesn't work as well in a bigger server where we may not even be out as plural, so we save message links!

Going along that vein, if something happens that headmates need to be aware of in detail for whatever reason, we keep a log in that server with screenshots and descriptions of situations, so we can properly remember and have a record of it even between headmates

Unless it is absolutely necessary (generally safety reasons), we don't force switches that people genuinely don't want. Sometimes we'll joke that we "forced someone out/in", but in actuality we never do that if the headmate isn't actually okay with it

We do our best to let headmates have things for just themselves, if they want- examples being Wil's glasses that he wears when fronting, Ran's mask (though we need to get them a new one), certain stuffed animals that they've taken a liking to, certain shows/games, etc

I'm sure there's other things that aren't coming to mind right now, but that's a lot of them! We're still learning, and we're lucky to have pretty good communication from the start, but these are all things that have helped a lot. If you'd like, share some of the things you do to help trust and communication in the reblogs/replies!

No, I don't have a fund for financial compensation, no. What I can offer you is: INFORMATION.

The reference desk page has a listing where I put helpful stuff, enough of it has scam-related stuff to be worth a mention.

If it says to answer the ask privately, no matter what reason they're giving it's definitely to minimize the amount of visibility the ask itself has. If they're copy/pasting the ask to everyone in the notes of a legit fundraiser, it's less likely someone will notice it's being spammed if everyone answers privately and just reblogs the pinned fake fundraiser post.

"Case update" and "new case alert" are handy tags. //I know there's a couple weird binary posts at the end of the new case tag, those were me encrypting what I was observing about a couple scams in case the scammers themselves would know I was onto them. I haven't done that in full post form since.

You can copy/paste asks into the tumblr search function.

Reverse image searching might give you some results, but I've certainly noticed others having more luck with that than me on occasion.

If you want to ask me about a weird ask or blog, I can look into it. Once I did manage to prove something legitimate, but as far as I know that person was not spamming. There have been cases where people who did legitimately need help were spamming, but that's not common and most people who are told that spamming doesn't help will stop if they're being honest about needing help.

Heck, sometimes pasting pieces of the ask/post into a search engine with quotations around the text will get you original fundraisers or even twitter posts from before the blog was even created that match the same story. Doesn't take that long and will sometimes give you interesting answers.

Hello! First, I'd like to thank you for this blog, it's really helpful and informative!

Second, I have some questions about image descriptions and plain text:

1.) If an image has an alt text, should I copy and paste it in a post when reblogging or is it accessible as is? What about if there are several images with alt text in a post separated by text? I'm guessing if I post an image myself it's best to have both alt text and a description, but I've seen you do just alt text, so is it enough?

2.) What if another user posted some images and the text under them is generally describing the images but is not marked as image description. Should I write an image description in my post when reblogging? Just say that the images are of what the OP talks about?

3.) If there is a post that is made of multiple additions and reblogs and several undescribed images. Is it accessible to just describe them in order of appearance in my reblog? Or is it confusing and I should just tag it as undescribed instead?

4.) Is plain text needed when any kind of text formatting is applied or are there exceptions? And again, if only some posts in a chain need plain text, is it accessible to just list them all in a reblog or is it confusing?

5.) this one is more minor, but is it ok if my avatar and banner are only described in the pinned post or should I put them in my bio as well?

1.) This one is tricky. As you've noticed, I've decided to consider images with alt text as accessible enough to be on this blog becasue they come with a built-in expandable written ID, and even do it myself when it's short enough. However, some people still very much prefer image descriptions for various reasons. You can also use them together by putting a short description in the alt text that ends by directing people to a longer description (when needed) in the body of the post.

2.) This is what I like to refer to as "functionally described." Once in a while I will reblog something without an image description and tag it #functionally described as an indicator to people that the text in the post fully described the image or images in it.

3.) I usually described them in order, yes.

4.) This one is also tricky. Some will say yes, but there are certain cases, such as headings, where I've yet to encounter someone who benefits from making a smaller plain text version of the large text. I hope some day to meet one, because in theory they exist. I am also a bit more lax with things like bold or italics in moderation, because the research suggesting that can hamper readability for those with dyslexia is really more for huge chunks for text. But again, doesn't necessarily hurt!

5.) That one is up to you! I do it in my bio to make it as easy to get to as possible, but I think a pinned posts is good too. Honestly, I wish they'd let us add alt text to it, it would be a good use for it.

this is gonna serve as an informational thing with asks and messages for donations as i receive quite a lot of them (which is a good thing, and i ask you to please keep sending them)

i am not able to verify donations. in the past, i have tagged posts as "vetted" or some form of it, which meant i had gone through the blog and ensured in some way that the campaign was verified. for any campaigns i've reblogged recently or will reblog in the future, assume i have checked they are verified if the post itself does not already say so.

i am only able to donate small increments to a few campaigns at any given time. i wish this were not the case, but it is. i typically pick a few campaigns at a time to donate to whenever i get paid, but there is no guarantee i will be able to donate to yours if you send an ask. that being said, i will always reblog any campaigns that end up in my inbox.

please do not send multiple asks in a row for reblogs. i have dozens of asks in my inbox, and though not always instantaneous, i will reblog them when i am able. multiple asks in a row tends to clog the ask box and make it difficult to see how many new asks i have. if i have reblogged your campaign in the past and you would like me to do so again, however, please feel free to send another ask.
