I have been asked several times if I have a picture of Jamie with long flowing hair. I didn't. Until now. After the behind-the-scenes photos from the shoot appeared, I decided that I probably needed to fill the gap. I drew an illustration of Jamie based on what I saw in the photos. The only thing is that I didn't make Jamie completely blond. Let the red color stay with him. 😃 This is probably not the only work with long hair and there will be more from me. I especially want to draw a portrait. But that will be later, if later comes. But I hope you like my version from today. 🤗

Not quite sure where I was going with this image of Barbara Gordon as her alter ego Batgirl. All I can really say is I wanted to draw her again using her original design from the old Animated series. So here she is throwing a little pizzazz into her grand entrance to fighting crime. Enjoy!

my 38th picture book... in the works!

To date, I’ve had 37 picture books published -and in August I just signed the contract to illustrate my 38th picture book! It’s for a new fiction story being produced by Penguin-Random House. This is my 10th picture book for Penguin-Random House. I won’t divulge the title of this new picture book quite yet, nor the name of the writer. (It’s the first picture book written by a prominent national newspaper editor and columnist.)

Right now I’m in the laborious sketch/story board stage, as well as creating many character sketches working out the look of the main characters in the story… like the sketch I’ve posted here depicting one of the main characters, a very British pig.

This is a just a little sneak peek…. I probably won’t post more on this picture book project until after I have completed all the sketches and all the final illustrations, at which time I’ll submit a post showing all the details in the entire process creating the final illustrations for this picture book.

Sadly the purchase sites I am not sure about anymore, it's been extremely long so I don't know if they still exist or work the same way as before. Still I encourage you to purchase artbooks of media you enjoy, there is nothing like having these books in your hands!

Diabolik Lovers Illustrations.

I got this one with help, I targeted it exactly for this, the rough gallery. Satoi-san’s sketches.

I scanned only the rough gallery, the interview with Satoi (I wish someone translated it :( ), a couple of illustrations that were not fully scanned by anyone before (I mean I only saw cut versions). The rest are already scanned images however if you like my scanner quality :v and see no decent scan of certain illustration do message me (:

If any of my link falls tell me or reupload it yourselves, I don’t watermark this because I don’t need credits for this, I don’t want them at all (after all I only bought and scanned this), I’m sharing as an artist who wanted these scanned and never got them until I’ve done it myself. I recommend buying it, it’s gorgeous. Of course scanning mistreats the book but I don’t mind that much c: so I hope you enjoy these scans and please do buy it if you are interested because you won’t regret it. It’s A4 size and beautiful.

King Edmund the Just

Okay, fine, the green colors for Edmund came back with a vengeance. They just kind of happened. The tunics are longer and I've added a majestic cloak/mantle/draped cloth fastened with a gold penannular broach.
