hi, sorry this took a while! I've been super busy with finals :( but they're done now!

🗡️ And honestly? She's flattered. She's always felt like she's in Rapunzel's shadow, denied the love others showed her. Sure, Varian had a crush on her but he was so much younger than her! You're her age and available.

🗡️ She purposefully does things to make you blush (like flexing her muscles after flawlessly completing an endurance test or picking you up after a victory). It's cute, seeing you fall to the floor in a gloopy pile of love.

🗡️ They day you get the jump on her is the day she falls in love with you. When you praise her for something she does, her heart starts stuttering and darn near jumps out of her chest.

🗡️ The closer you two get, the more she touches you. They're gentle touches on your wrist, almost forgettable, but they make every thought fly from your head. And every time she touches you, her fingers tingle at the point of impact.

🗡️ She finds your blushing and stuttering endearing. If it were anyone else, she would have been annoyed by their incessant pleading for her attention. But you? It changes something in her heart, makes her more protective of you than normal.

🗡️ She loves braiding your hair (if you choose to show it). The way you shudder under her fingers is nothing short of magical, and it spurns the fire in her heart.

🗡️ She's almost impressed that your crush on her doesn't let up. She'd be almost ... disappointed if you stopped being so flustered around her, but luckily, your crush only seems to grow.

🗡️ That isn't to say that you do all of the blushing. No, no, no. The more she falls for you, the redder her face gets. It seems almost impossible to her that her face can get any redder, but it does.

🗡️ Even after she turns evil, you still fall at her feet. She keeps you safe with her rocks; not a single hair on your pretty little head is harmed.

🗡️ It's after her exile that you kiss her for the first time (because, doesn't she know? You'll follow her anywhere) that she actually falls off of her horse. You fall off next to her, shocked by your boldness.

🗡️ Cass comments on your blush before kissing your cheek, wiping away some mud on your forehead.

🗡️ "I love you," are the words you've been longing to hear, and they're the ones you get. She wraps her arms around your shoulders, laughing genuinely for the first time in months.

🗡️ "I love you too," you manage to stammer out, resting your head on her muddy shoulder.

Like, the thing obviously Kevlar weave, with lots of armour reinforced bits, not to mention all of the gear and gadgets and tools he has on his person, I mean, anything he’s ever thought he may need, anything he’s been mid fight thinking that a particular tool would be useful, he has it somewhere, probably a few of them

And all the kids too, they’re equally equipped even if they don’t necessarily look it

So I like to imagine that some of the heroes decided they should do a costume switch for fun

The bats agreed, and the best part wasn’t them being weirded out like they thought they’d be, unmasked and all that, no, they couldn’t care less, instead everyone else is freaking out about how heavy the bats costumes are

How the hell do they do impossible feats of acrobatics wearing shit like this

Even the supers think it’s excessive, and they have super strength

The bats all take the opportunity to try some of their moves without the weight, given that they work out wearing even more weight

Turns out they can flip and jump and move in even more insane ways than anyone thought possible and everyone is more terrified than they were a few minutes ago

Everyone decides the bats are better with their gadgets

I really like the idea of the bat kids designating Dick and Jason's apartments as sibling gathering spots but for opposite reasons.

Sibling needs some comfort? Some eldest daughter advice? A shoulder to cry on or just a lil getaway spot from the chaos of Gotham? Dick's apartment is perfect.

But if a batkid wants to complain, maybe wants to talk shit about Bruce, or maybe even wants to discuss a lil felony in a judgement free zone? Jason's place it is.

And I like to imagine that while Dick readily keeps his doors open and reminds anyone that they can drop by anytime, it's the opposite for Jason.

Dude's got his place riddled with traps and locked up to the high heavens. He makes it obvious he doesn't want visitors, and vaguely insinuates that there are bombs rigged somewhere in his apartment so there's a always a 50/50 chance you might get blown up if he's feeling particularly bitchy one day.

But does that stop his siblings? Absolutely not. Unlike Dick (who assigns himself as the guiding older brother), Jason has been forcefully labelled as the older sibling you go to if you need to complain and stir up havoc. The hundreds of traps in his place mean nothing. And it's worse because Jason is never prepared for when someone drops in.

[Damian, perched atop him, eyes dead-centre locked onto Jason without blinking]: Hello, Todd-stop screaming it is unbecoming-I just came to tell you that father won't allow me to adopt another stray I found on patrol.

Jason, half-asleep and like 70% sure he's hallucinating: Wha-

Superman is asked in an interview if he walks around without his costume in the streets, he says yes, that he has perfected the way to disguise has a regular human, they ask for an example of one of his costumes so he grabs a black jacket and puts it on before slouching, warping himself in his cape and using his fingers to make little ears*

Later, he realizes all his suits have been replaced with Bat-suits bought from a Halloween costume shop, the Planet's windows were covered with photos of Batman and his kids wearing the suits they stole (plus masks), the internet is full of Superman memes and there's a viral video of Batman seemingly flying like Superman, in Superman's suit, while still wearing the Bat-cowl, only for the image to pull back and show Batman strapped to the Bat-mobile's roof, that's being driven by Spoiler, who is cackling like an Arkham inmate.

YEAHHHHHH it's been so long since I've written one of these omg

i had the PHATTEST crush on her as a kid

🗡️ Cass isn't sure how to handle being in a relationship with you, at first. You're so lovely and she feels that she's ... not. You deserve sweet things, not someone who is still so irrevocably hurt over Mother Gothel abandoning her. It'll take her a while to work through that.

🗡️ She really likes going horseback riding with you. No matter how good or bad you are, she loves spending time with you away from the hustle and bustle of palace life.

🗡️ She does all of the laundry and chores, even when you don't ask her too. She's so used to being a handmaiden that that stuff comes to her unintentionally. Plus, organizing your house helps her put her mind at ease.

🗡️ She LOVES it when you buy her new swords, especially if they have a pattern of some sort that reminds her of you. If you get a matching set? Whoo boy, she might just start crying.

🗡️ She loves doing your makeup in the morning. She's not the biggest toucher on the planet, but sitting with you in the morning and gently guiding your face to where she wants it soothes something in her.
