Sir Bertrand MacGuffingham is such an interesting character. I don't think I've ever seen a fandom treat a character the way Bertie is treated by the rqg fandom. He is simultaneously one of the most widely loved and widely hated characters in the show, but in a way that is distinctly not the classic Poor Little Meow Meow or Problematic Fav archetype. When he's present he feels like an integral part of the podcast, but after he leaves he is almost never mentioned again. He's canonically gay and he canonically had sex with The Fan Favourite Male Character, and yet fanfiction about him is almost nonexistent. He's a piece of shit, but there's never been any fandom discourse surrounding him because everyone already knows he's a piece of shit. His death simultaneously feels like a joke, and also like a profoundly serious moment where we're forced to acknowledge just how much of a monster this guy really is. He arguably has less overall plot relevance than his dog.

Sasha, Melanie and Cel but is just Melanie making friends and trying to get them to kill Elias (alterbativally best ghost hunter trio).

Elias, Grizzop and Zolf but Elias is so busy going "what type of Peter Lukas is that and should I divorce him too" with Zolf he doesn't realize Grizzop killing him.

Martin and Wilde but is just Wilde way to elaborated excuses to not honestly review Martin's poetry and Martin's elaborated hidden tests around "is this an alternate historical figure or the Stranger being silly?".

Azu and Jon but is just cause Jon needs a hug and Azu is way to competent she could solve TMA with marbles, hugs and axes.

Hamid, Tim and TMA Sasha just cause I think they would be neat together. But mostly Hamid and Sasha research into danger zone repeatedly.

Bertie and Jurgen Leitner cause Leitner deserves to have to deal with Bertie and I think that Bertie would have a lot of underseved fun if he got eldrish permission to be openly fucked up and evil.

hi! i have a random question: how likely do you think each rqg character (all the player characters + wilde) would be to wear a dress? i ranked them all from least to most likely in my head earlier today but i was wondering what other people might think :)

Least likely: Sasha

For Sasha I think dresses are pretty impractical, not very stealthy, and pretty eye-catching so maybe not. Also it's possible Sasha was forced to wear dresses in Eldarion care so I would imagine a hard, no thanks.

Bertie might, if he ever took the armor off. Something tells me he would enjoy the breeze. That's all the thoughts I can summon for Bertie.

I think Cel would maybe wear them occasionally because they can have infinite huge pockets and gadgets hidden in them!! However, as someone who used to wear dresses and does woodshop and sculpture and shit, they are the WORST for crafting. They are so dangerous for a lot of machinery with fast blades, like HARD pass.

At first i was like, Grizzop wouldn't wear dresses, they restrict your movement too much, but then i thought skirts really really don't restrict your movement. Like at all. So I guess, yes? maybe he would wear skirts, I dunno about dresses though.

Zolf doesn't seem to care what he wears very much, also with no legs and a wheelchair i bet dresses would be easy to put on and take off actually. He doesn't seem too concerned with fashion.

Hamid would delight in dresses I believe. He loves fabric, sewing, and fashion, I mean obviously he would love dresses. The only reason he's not higher is that I bet he's kind of attached to his suits and fancy little dude clothes, and in the epilogue, dresses are fancy stuff he wouldn't wear anymore.

Azu, of course, adores dresses. They spin, they usually come in bright colors, she's a big tall women and dresses would be easy to make and easy to find and easy to compliment her gorgeous figure. The only reason she's not first is that I think she is attached to her armor, of course. Otherwise, dresses all the way.

Most Likely: Wilde

C'mon, like, he enjoys being the center of attention, eye catching, fashionable. He cares about his looks, clearly. He also doesn't have to deal with a battlefield (often), so he doesn't really need to worry about practicality? I think he's the obvious choice.
