The Sasha & Grizzop friendship (pre-rome) is so funny to me. Because from Grizzop's perspective it's like "I see this young person trying to find her place in a world that has been so cruel to her, and as a parent (as well as an outsider myself) I can't help but feel a bit protective over her. It really upsets me to see her behaving in self-destructive ways, and mostly I just want her to understand that there are people out there who care about her and want to see her happy."

And from Sasha's perspective it's like "This is my mostly chill coworker who keeps trying to convert me to his religion. Also he's 10 years old."

Everytime I listen to the Ancient Rome Sidequest it destroys me emotionally. But who knows, maybe somewhere there's a world where nothing terrible happens and it's just Sasha and Grizzop having fun adventures in ancient Rome.

This is a scene I had wanted to draw since I first listened to it back in...what, 2018? During my first listen of RQG. I've started a relisten of it and now that I'm no longer commuting long hours to and from work I can actually sit down and draw when I'm inspired to do so. So here we have a scene from Episode 44: Rock Bottom

The torch light sweeps across the cliff face…and for one horrifying moment, it is outlined in front of you. You are about a foot away from it. It is the most hideous amalgamation of limbs. There are tentacles with eyes, there are legs on the end of tentacles, there are barbs everywhere. There is no part of its misshapen torso that doesn't have a limb coming out of it, apart from a circular mouth, and that mouth and teeth within teeth within teeth. And it is…it has a long snaking tongue that is basically powering out towards you. It gives that raw roar.

Wilde, Sasha and Hamid are all different types of aro people for me.

Wilde is aro in the way where he actually likes being in some type of romantic-adjacent relationship. It's just the way he feels about the relationship and the love he has for the person in question is not romantic and he is open about it. He is also very much not ace. Tho he is less hypersexual than most people assume, Wilde sees sex as a toy to get what he wants mostly. Like if everything else hadn't worked out he would have becoma a gold digger PROUDLY.

Sasha is aro in the way where she just doesn't care about romance. It's not something she even thinks about. She doesn't even have identity crises about it because romantic love is so foreing it mostly gets her confused. It is just things other people do for some reason. It is the same as Grizzop being way more energetic than her or Hamid crying a lot. Good for them maybe but it's just not for her. She is also in the assexual spectrum as she very explicitly is only attracted to people's skills. She is like sapiosexuals but like the intelectual connection is being abble to do cool acrobatics.

Hamid is aro in the way he ADORES romance. He likes to watch other people failing in love, he thinks Valentine's Day is super cute, he likes good romantic stories (not that thrash Cambell writes). But is in the same way some people love cooking shows and reading recipees but hate cooking. It's fun to see and interact with but he doesn't actually feel any desire to participate. He is also not assexual.
