I miss RQG Wilde every damn day. I miss him and then remember he's running a tavern with his life partner next to the water where they bicker constantly, have their friends over, write and peer review smut novels, he gets kicked out of the kitchen, they mutually complain about their furnace, he's lucky he's so charming, they fucking love each other so much. I think about that and I still miss him but know he's fucking happy.

i present the greatest artistic series in my career: the goblin ball saga. these images bring me SO much joy. you simply must shitpost.

ID: six hastily drawn 4 panel comics, with each new comic the title of the previous one has been scored out and written over. the first comic, titled “goblin ball” is sasha spinning an exceptionally flat grizzop by the ankles, letting him go, he flies through the air in a tuck, and then, in a small ball, falls gleefully into frame at a scared and beat up barret rackett. the second comic is titled “dwarf ball” and shows wilde spinning zolf by the ankles, letting him go, zolf in the air in a canonball position, and him viewed from behind as he hurtles towards an azu who is braced to catch him with a determined expression. the third comic is titled “halfling paper plane” and depicts hamid stood peacefully with his hands pointed to the ground, azu lifting him by the armpits in this position, azu holding hamid over her head horizontally, and hamid flying through the air after azu has thrown him. the fourth comic is called “halfling throw of desperation” and shows hamid asleep on the floor, then cel crouching over him and holding his neck, cel then has hamid held on their shoulder as they if other arm is stretched before them, cel catapults sleeping hamid forward through the air like a sack of potatoes. the fifth comic is titled “kobold frisbee” and shows cel holding skraak by the tail, them having let go of skraak who is now flying through the air, a view of skraak from below as he spins with his gliders between his arms and legs now extended, and the final panel is him spinning in a blur in this fashion. the final comic is titled “halfling catch of desperation” and shows azu falling with a hand stretched upwards,a very draconic hamid screaming the word “SHIT” in horror, then an incongruously detailed drawing of hamid looking beautiful while giving a thumbs up and smirking at the viewer with lots of sparkles around the word “magic” written in cursive, as hamid says “it’s fine actually”. the final panel is a split panel of huge azu holding on to a ledge with a tiny hamid stood at her hand and then a zoomed in view of azu’s hands with hamid stood by them doing a double thumbs up. I have the headcannon that Wilde and Carter actually know way more about ships than they show and are fully making egregious mistakes for the sake of annoying Zolf and Barnes:

"I could be a good pirate." Wilde says. " Ship work it's all just tying ropes and I have a lot of bondage experience."

Zolf is red on the face. Barnes looks like he wants to throw up.

"Ah, c'mon, Wilde, don't be silly." Carter says in a very serius matter of fact tone. "You're ofending our boat guys. Everyone knows the ropes on ships are just decorative."

Zolf is fully ready to punch someone. Barnes has the biggest 'are you guys for real' expression possible.

After Carter and Wilde share a drink and high five.

I think about Azu growing old while her friends watch

I think about Hamid getting a letter from her son, saying she's with Aphrodite now

I think about Cel going to James' funeral

I think about how many funerals they'll go to

Mostly I think about Oscar

Do him and Zolf ever talk about it?

Do they sit by the fire, and try not to think about how much time is left?

I think about Zolf seeing Oscar pass away

It isn't violent or unfair this time

It's peaceful

Maybe he dies in his sleep

Maybe Zolf holds his hand as he slips away

And after so many years

Zolf is alone again

and there is no spell or trick to bring him back this time

Oscar is just gone

Does Zolf follow him? Or does he carry on?

Is he just grateful for the time they had? For the decades that might have never been?

Does he rage against the world for putting him through this again?

Does he consider it a mercy that it is he left alone, and not Oscar?

Maybe magic lingered enough

Or the universe was kind enough

To let them die together

To let them drift off one night and just

Never wake up

After everything they went through
