I miss RQG Wilde every damn day. I miss him and then remember he's running a tavern with his life partner next to the water where they bicker constantly, have their friends over, write and peer review smut novels, he gets kicked out of the kitchen, they mutually complain about their furnace, he's lucky he's so charming, they fucking love each other so much. I think about that and I still miss him but know he's fucking happy.

I have the headcannon that Wilde and Carter actually know way more about ships than they show and are fully making egregious mistakes for the sake of annoying Zolf and Barnes:

"I could be a good pirate." Wilde says. " Ship work it's all just tying ropes and I have a lot of bondage experience."

Zolf is red on the face. Barnes looks like he wants to throw up.

"Ah, c'mon, Wilde, don't be silly." Carter says in a very serius matter of fact tone. "You're ofending our boat guys. Everyone knows the ropes on ships are just decorative."

Zolf is fully ready to punch someone. Barnes has the biggest 'are you guys for real' expression possible.

After Carter and Wilde share a drink and high five.

How I think RQG Characters would react to being given a gun

Sasha: Fascinated by the mechanics of how it works, but doesn't actually like it as a weapon because it's so loud. she tries it out once or twice and everyone hides

Grizzop: He thinks it's more efficient and practical than a bow, but he prays to Artemis before using it for the first time to make sure she's ok with it

Cel: Immediately tries to figure out if they can use it to make their explosions bigger. Or maybe add it to their village's tank? What about if we make it shoot electric bullets? Or maybe...

Azu: Handles it very gingerly, scared of shooting it accidentally. She's not entirely sure how it works, but she prefers to kill people with her axe anyway.

Hamid: "Well, i mean, it's not bad, but i can still hurt more people with a Fireball!"

Zolf: Keeps it in his room as an emergency weapon, is actually not too bad at using it but still prefers his glaive

Bertie: Oh no. By the love of God do not give Sir Bertrand a gun. You can't even imagine the casualties

I think so much about wilde (rqg) post campaign humming as he does simple tasks sweeping the floor, washing dishes, brushing his hair that boy hums a silly tune as if he was casting ougggh he also did this during the timeskip and airship arc

Happy 4 year Anniversary to RQG 174. The episode that broke me. The episode that I stopped not even half way through because I was crying so hard. The episode that saw my favorite character die horribly. The episode that would have been my last had I not been told "listen to the end" by the lovely people in RQO's EA channel. The episode that I still cannot listen to all the way. The episode that has some of the best acting you'd never think it was all improvised. The episode that really made me hate nat 1s. The episode the changed the direction of two of the characters. The episode that is still the hardest I've ever cried in a podcast. The episode we still warn new listeners about. THE episode.

Wilde: First they started out on my waist and then they slid up and then they were in my hair.

Hamid and Azu: Oooohhh.
