Headcannon that Jason got the headstone from his grave and put it above his bed because it says 'Here lies Jason Todd' (he broke off the good soldier bit ofc) and thinks it's the funniest thing ever, some of the family, of course, are horrified.

Dick, at Jason's before they go out on patrol: Hey Jaybird, make sure to bring a spare respir--WHAT THE HELL?!?

Dick, looking frantically between Jason and the headstone: this is clearly a threat. Somebody knows your identity. I swear to GOD when I find who did this--

Jason, looking up from his phone comepletely unbothered: oh yeah, about that

here's the thing. yes hannibal is gleeful and yes will is brooding, BUT:

hannibal is a meticulous planner, a polyglot, a genius, nigh unstoppable in a fight but always opting for prep time whenever possible, the wealthy owner of a gothic-style ancestral estate; he sees himself as a manifestation of justice, is represented visually by a leathery-black animal/human creature, had a childhood defined by a family loss, maintains a secret basement, and has a flouncy, cheerful, socialite public persona

will is a nobody from nowhere - "always the new boy at school," no family, no close friends, no past where he would be remembered; he is also a genius, but his most dangerous trait as a killer is that he is chaotic, disorganized, vicious, artistic but impulsive, ruining his own carefully-laid plans on a whim; he has successfully seduced an employee of a mental hospital into killing in his name, and he is a jealous little bitch, ruled by his emotions first and foremost

I'm thinking about the drastic differences between how Bruce reveals his identity and how Dick reveals his identity in World's Finest. Dick simply takes off his mask and presents himself to the Titans, but Bruce? Bruce, he calls the Daily Planet, asking them to send Clark Kent to his manor immediately. Clark is now in the house of a stranger he only knows as a rich extravagant man, and said man starts explaining how he knows Clark is Superman. Clark tries to deny it and Bruce explains how he filed the room with a gas that humans cannot breathe, and Clark can breathe, so he is not human. At this point, for Clark, Bruce Wayne is a dangerous man who knows his secret identity, and he has him in his house full of gadgets. Bruce asks him to follow him, and he takes him to the Batcave, which is how Clark makes the connection. Like, the dramatics of it all? The theatrics? Making your colleague fear for their safety? Showing how they need to be better at hiding their identity? Slightly playing bad guy? This is so good.

Anyway, now I cannot accept Bruce not doing something like this everytime he reveals his identity to another Justice League's member. But his kids, they are simply taking their masks off, like normal people. And now, you have other vigilantes' families discussing how they learn their bats' identity and being baffled.

Barry: They just... Took their masks off? And told you their names? That's it? No supervilain's monologue?

Wally: BATMAN PRANKED YOU???!!! I'm calling Dick.

Bart: *Blue screened from learning that Batman pranks the JL*

Tim: I keep thinking about how reliant Bruce is on Dick and how Dick always replies in kind.

Tim: No, but I found Dick FIRST. I was the one who admired him. I was the one chasing him through newspapers, TV clips, and across Gotham’s rooftops. I was the one who met him first when Bruce was off brooding somewhere else! I was and AM the one who hangs out with him!

Jason: ...You're... starting to sound a little jealous.

Tim: I sound like someone who put in all the effort and should be reaping the rewards! By all logic, he should be dependent on me!

Jason: Tim. Buddy. You’re trying to out-obsess Bruce Wayne. Do you hear yourself? You’re one overly dramatic monologue away from becoming the next big villain if you continue.

Tim: *offended*

Jason: *shrugging*

Tim: ...You would know.

In his years of overseas training, Bruce started talking to an online penpal by the name of Kansascowboy32. They still talk for hours, sharing anicdotes and giving advice to this day. Although they've never met (because Bruce knows his identity as batman would be too at risk), Bruce considers this man one of his closest confidants and possibly the love of his life.

Of course he can never reveal this because he doesn't want to make the other man uncomfortable or get ghosted. So after an argument with Superman that makes him feel inadequate, he decides to pursue a more attainable mild mannered reporter, who would never reject Bruce Wayne, to get over his unrequited love.

The reporter in question, Clark kent, is forced to stay in Gotham for a month or two as he is researching a story focused on the criminals in the city's underground. It's during this investigation that he meet a rough around the edges rogue by the name of Matches Malone. After matches helps him not get caught snooping in a warehouse, Clark is so far gone that not even Bruce Wayne's flirting can't sway him.

Now Clark is aware how cleché he is by falling for the classic "criminal bad boy" but really Matches is a victim of circumstance with a heart of gold, and he's really nice when you get to know him and Clark can fix him really he can if they just spend more time together. Besides this is the first person he's had feelings for since his painfully unnoticed crush on batman (who definitely hates him) so after talking to his mysterious online best friend he decides it's time to move on.

While he's set on persuing Matches, Bruce Wayne's efforts to win him over don't go unnoticed. At the same time he's still hurts to let go of his feelings for batman. It's a good thing he has a best friend to talk him through it.

A Goofy Movie, but it's Bruce and Dick navigating Dick's teenager years and desire for independence, with Bruce learning that he will not lose his boy by letting him grow up. They are still vigilantes, not civilians, and Dick is older than Max was in the movie.
