I Keep Thinking Back To This

Instead of immediately going to make Vaggie Charlie's girlfriend she stayed a friend and she ended up getting with Emily. Seriously, at this point Charlie has more chemistry with other characters than her goddamn love interest. You know it's funny the fact that people have issues when it's a male x female canon relationship that has no chemistry they call it a result forced so-called heterosexism but ignore it when it comes to canon LGBT couples. The problem isn't hetereosexuality, but the fact people forget to put chemistry in a relationship and assume it will wow an audience.

Seriously, people were saying that it was heteronormality the reason why people shipped Charlastor over Chaggie, but then Emily happened and it showed no it ain't being homophobic but the fact that the canon relationship has no chemistry written. You don't feel like their relationship is alive compared to how she interacts with Alastor and Emily. And I don't care how much the narrative tries to push the Alastor tries to be her daddy, because that just makes even more shippers.

I kind of now wish that kept Vaggie and Charlie as friends then introduce Emily in the first episodes as an ambassador from heaven who is at first infatuated with Charlie and wants to see her mission succeed. Like again she learns more about what is going on in hell and believes in Charlie's mission to make it better. Seriously, I don't know when Emily was created but this was a missed opportunity.

Black Hat Would Totally Torch Hazbin Hotel's Lucifer

Seriously, it's bad enough that Hazbin Hotel's hell is just safe edgy, but the fact that once again a sin and supposedly the King Of Hell is soft wuss that's really not so bad. After Asmodeus and Beelzebub were shown to be okay figures, it really again shows that she can put as much swearing and sex jokes but still feel like this place is just red LA instead of fucking the place where the worse go. And (spoilers) the series tries to pull that bs that no one knows how anyone gets into heaven or hell when obviously that contradicts how hell is full of the worst people you can imagine. Again at one point I would think Hazbin's Lucifer would contend with Black Hat, but I say fuck it he would not have the balls to be an actual villain if he tried. Also I totally see Black Hat at first endorsing this version of Lucifer thinking he would rise and be evil, but then just face palm showing he's just that stupid misunderstood archetype he hates so much. He probably would get more interested in Adam since he actually acts more evil than Lucifer but still finds him a crude and vulgar.

Once Again, the Premise Has Changed Drastically.

I was planning on watching this to see how it would turn out, even with the new shitty cast, animation and the badly written musical parts, but now that the premise has basically changed from trying to redeem the Scum of the Earth to "Darksiders, but without substance" I think this is my goodbye to the show.

I have been writing a complete rewrite of the Hellaverse with my friend. It started off as a small, fanficcy project and now, at this point, our version feels so different that we are thinking of completely redisgning all of the characters to make it our own. And I think I'll stick to that at this point.

Tell me if you'd like to hear more, it takes place in 1933, Hell is still advanced, 100 years ahead in terms of tech, Loona is 17 years old, newly adopted and VERY different in terms of character, the I.M.P are the ones that bring Alastor to Hell, Charlie and Lucifer have a wonky relationship, Vaggie is a sinner that is unable to let go of her "hazbin" (here the hazbin refers to ones life before the afterlife), Sinners are able to roam to all the different circles in Hell and Lucifer was a gardener. (God lied about him being his right hand man to make having his plans being foiled by a gardener sound less shameful.)

Seriously, this could have emphasized why they should be able to change because they can be with their loved ones again and not have to dwell in this hellhole.

Maybe it's just me, but Hazbin Hotel under Viv feels more like an "on paper" show. She never should've fired those other writers who make the pilot possible.

Both are made by pretty despicable women who claim to focus on women’s narratives, despite their own works pushing women to the side

Vivziepop fans claiming adding black features to her black characters would’ve made it “too difficult” to animate them is a hilarious excuse considering this is the same woman who had characters like these animated:

Another excuse fans have been using is that Vivziepop’s art style is “unsuitable” for black characters, despite her crew members proving otherwise: 

No art style is "unsuitable" for black characters because it's the artist's responsibility to learn how to draw them in their style. There's no excuse for black characters not looking black in your style.

Vivziepop could draw black features in her style but CHOSE not to, hence why none of the black characters look black outside their skin color, which sometimes they don't even have.

Two Canon Ships Badly Handled

I know they were popular in the fandom, especially the latter with how much material it had but now canon shows it really has the same problems that Helluva Boss did with it's ships.

For Chaggie it's the fact that you feel no chemistry between them and Vaggie really like Millie is just so attached to her partner that she has personality outside of it. While you can look at it as functional, I really want more investment if they actually acted more couple like and Vaggie was more independent from Charlie. Seriously, we know more about characters like Carmilla than we do about the girlfriend of the main character of the series. That's just straight up bad writing.

For Huskerdust, I was actually rooting for this to happened and loved the stuff fans made of it. However, the execution is really showing to be bad due to the fact it feels rushed and "Loser, Baby" comes off as tone deaf in handling abuse. Husker seems to treat his problems the same as his when it's not. And it comes off as brushing off someone in a worse situation. And again while not as toxic as Stolitz, it still has mixed messages due to Angel harassing him and the fact that he quickly warms up to him in one episode with no build up.

Again just showing once and time before Vivziepop has no understanding of good relationships should be written or portrayed.
