in s2 i NEED charles to not let edwin out of his sight, seemingly being more protective than ever before

i need edwin to get annoyed about it, thinking that charles views him as weak now after seeing him in hell, thinking charles is now protecting him because he feels like he needs to, not just because he wants to

when in reality charles doesn't believe that for a second. edwin's the strongest person he knows and he knows he doesn't need protecting.

but whenever edwin's not with him, it's like he can hear him screaming in esther's machine again. he can see that pile of ripped apart corpses in hell on the inside of his eyelids every time he blinks. and the only way to stop it is having proof that edwin is there with him, that he's okay.

Imagine if Billy didn’t know Shazam died?

(This is actually apart of my AU lol)

But what if Billy didn’t know Shazam, the Wizard, was actually dead? Like maybe he did see Shazam get crushed by rocks but he just thinks a Wizard could survive that, Or he doesn’t remember meeting Shazam for whatever reason. (Like he knows it happened because his pantheon told him so, and he remembers like a tiny bit of being at the RoE, but maybe he doesn’t remember Shazam dying)

This would be kinda funny to think about, especially if the pantheon’s trying desperately not to let Billy know Shazam died. But they occasionally slip up, and each time they do Billy gets slightly more suspicious. Also, in my AU since Billy and Marvel and separate entities, I think it would be funny aswell if Marvel didn’t know either. (—which I do have an AU explanation to make it work, but I fear I may be getting too off track already.)

And then he goes to Eton where the only time he had off was 3 weeks around Christmas, but still has to stay there, and 3 weeks in the summer when he can finally go home to Aubrey Hall?

This timeline is BONKERS. Like. . .we know Edmund dies not too long before Hyacinth is born, and she's born May/June. Colin's birthday? Yeah, it's in March. So you mean to tell me, the order of events of all this mess could be as followed: Edmund horsewhips Colin when he's 12 years old (sometime before March), he DIES that same day, Colin turns 13 (in March), Hyacinth is born (in June), and not a few months later Colin has to go to Eton (after the summer break. Social season is Spring and Summer, and ends either July or August, so let's be merciful here and say he leaves in August) and doesn't come back for an entire year?

You mean to tell me this boy has had what? Half a year to get over his father's death after he whipped him for a minor infraction and then he's waltzing into an institution where canings and whippings and floggings and bullying are the norm when he's a teeny tiny little boy?

How is this man not filled to the GILLS with trauma???? No wonder he's so close to his mum and listens to the women around him more than the men and never talks about his dad. one possible hint towards devil's minion that keeps bouncing around in my brain like a window's screensaver is the fact that anything that happens in louis' life and inside the penthouse is planned and approved by armand. we know by now that in the current timeline armand is perfectly capable of manipulating and gaslighting louis out of any plans and ideas he doesn't agree with. which means that even though it appears as if armand doesn't want louis to give the interview, it's not completely true or it wouldn't be happening at all. ultimately, if daniel is there in dubai with them doing the interview is because part of armand wants it too, and so he allowed it to happen. why does armand want daniel there?

i’m rereading ootp (to my own horror) and like. knowing what happens in that one and the next two books makes that intense, bubbling frustration of being a teenager whose worries are disregarded so much worse.
