it was later in the day , maddie had just finished her enforcer work and had been at home for sometime now , waiting for vi to eventually wake up from her weekend lie in. maddie had gone in to check vi since she was so quiet , and was met with a very wide awake face.

" hey vi , you slept in quite late today , that's not like you. everything okay ? " she asked as she smiled softly. vi made a small sound , her eyes not leaving maddie's face. she then smiled back reaching her arms up towards the scot.

" oh ! is someone my baby today ? " she said , moving a strand of hair out of vi's face. vi just looked back at her , obviously very far into babyspace and was unable to talk back. maddie helped her up out of bed and sat her in the middle of the mattress , trying to prevent her from getting hurt if she fell backwards. vi sat with her legs crossed in the middle of the bed , hands flapping around as she watched maddie grab her a babygro.

" okay sweetheart , let's put this on you. "

maddie moves vi to lay on her back as she dresses her up , patting her tummy gently as she finishes up.

" alright , are you hungry little lass ? " she says as she holds vi in her lap. vi reaches for maddie's face , grabbing it and babbling.

" i'm gonna take that as a yes. open up hun. " maddie pushes the teat of the milk bottle into vi's mouth and watches her suckle , gently rocking the pinkette. she rocks her slowly , not wanting to cause the baby any discomfort. once the bottle is finished , maddie places it onto the bedside table and places vi over her left shoulder.

" cmon little bug , let all that trapped air out. " she says as she pats and rubs her back , humming a sweet tune. vi finally burps , and maddie lets out a small chuckle at the sound.

" well done vi ! such a smart baby. " she praises , kissing her gently on the forehead. vi yawns once more , her thumb travelling up to meet her mouth. maddie gently grabs her hand to push it away , placing her paci into her open mouth.

" no sucking thumbs silly girl. " she says , knowing vi cannot respond , let alone hear her as she's drifting back off into sleep. maddie places vi back down into bed , kissing her temple and tucking her in.

" sleep tight hun. "

The boys make a triumphant return!! These are my ocs Carne and Badg, who had a tumultuous misunderstanding but are luckily now back together. They are some of my oldest and most loved ocs, Carne is a mandolin-playing jester and aerialist tabby cat at the renaissance faire and Badg the winged faun runs a plant nursery. Instead of lamenting my breakup I focus my romantic energies on my fictional boys and all is well. Speaking: Ryan? Francis? Artie?
