DC supervillain of the week who traps the justice league(in their league disguises) in a reality tv show like love island. it airs on tv and everything like they use supervillain powers to forcefully broadcast "love island: justice league edition" while the supers have to try and figure out how to escape. during a personal squabble wondy steps up and says "everyone calm down, we're all a team, we each have our strengths and weaknesses, we need to work together to solve this" and then it cuts to her talking head segment and she says "im not a fan of green lantern."

i feel like something that’s so fun about watching d20 specifically is the intersection of comedy improvisation and roleplaying. like actively choosing your reaction in the moment to make the bit funnier AND incorporating that into your character?

specifically thinking about the way gorgug and kristen as characters walk that line — kristen’s inability to take anything seriously in fhjy is partially ally going for the throat comedically (“what are you, 4 different dogs?”, “heyyy girlie”, stripping down in the hallway, the interaction w her parents) but then it fully becomes part of kristens character arc of “chaos isn’t cute”.

and gorgug at the festival was obviously zac choosing to be the straight man and playing up his reaction for laughs (“the lawnmower? the lawnmower?”) but it also perfectly fits gorgugs character of awkward kid with extremely vocally sex positive parents + barbarian rage = kid who’s absolutely fucking had it today, and just adds that beautiful roundness to gorgugs mostly peaceful character

My pitch for a High School musical sequel

Sharpay's musical theater career never went anywhere, so now she lives vicariously through her daughter. She terrorizes the East High drama department because she demands her daughter get all the lead roles, and she comes in and micromanages everything, etc.

Sharpay Junior is our sympathetic main character who wants to escape from her mom's control. She likes musical theater, but she's beginning to think that, gasp, she might have other interests! (Shocking, I know).

Gabriella is the school's science teacher, and she serves as a kind of mentor for Little Sharpay, teaching her that it's okay to like music and still do other things.

Troy's the basketball coach, of course, continuing the family tradition of men who cling to their high school glory days.

Maybe Troy and Gabriella's son could be the romantic interest? Little Sharpay has a connection with him, but of course Sharpay doesn't want her daughter involved with the family that stole her lead roles out from under her, and she doesn't want this boy distracting her darling from her theatrical career.

Of course, the process of deciding not to be in the musical requires Little Sharpay to take part in several heartfelt and elaborately-choreographed school-wide musical numbers.

it's as simple as that: nqueso-emergency -> intermittent-showers.

there are no crazy leaps. everything was actually so easy to find. the google document that was posted and that is a lot longer and convoluted was just to keep track of how each step was reached and who found what. but again, it truly was pretty easy and straight-forward.

if anyone needs proof of the connections they can be provided. SO MUCH PROOF. very easy to find proof and also pretty irrefutable proof.

anyway, it’s primarily comedic with some drama and pathos thrown in for spice, and the tonal shifts can be wild—There’s Definitely Something Deeper Going On and I love the looming threat of plot and sincerity. good for folks who want high energy comedy between two adult women who each think they’re in vastly different genres

Of course, the demon swiftly divined their intentions and returned posthaste…but, instead of escorting Finny back to the servants’ quarters and upbraiding the pair for their lack of regard for proper sleep hygiene, she opted for a strategic approach. She agreed that if they could keep awake while she read them the entirety of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, O!Ciel and Finnian would be allowed—just this once—to eschew their usual bedtime schedule and celebrate when the clock struck twelve. Thrilled (if, on O!Ciel’s part, a trifle suspicious) at having persuaded their guardian to see reason, the lads assumed they’d have no trouble upholding their end of the bargain. But as the demon’s mellifluous voice grew softer…and their eyelids began to droop…and the soporific warmth of the thick blankets under which they snuggled caused their resolve to waver…

Gardener and earl were cuddling in the midst of a tranquil snooze ere Alice had met the Caterpillar. Sebastian smiled as she gently closed the book and gave each child a kiss on the forehead, murmuring, “The wish may be a few hours premature, but Happy New Year, little ones.”
