the nemu day q&a mostly kept us up to date with what nemu’s been into lately!!!!! there were two things tho that made me giggle tho as a kuukou fan lol

she was asked what’s her fav marine activity and it’s snorkelling!!!!! she loves being able to swim with fishes and touch coral reefs 🥺🥺🥺 she also recommends it as a beginner marine sport!!!!

she shared with us a story back when she was still living with samatoki, and how she really wanted to get him to get over his distaste for peppers and carrots, so she mixed them into a burger for their dinner that day. samatoki took one bite, paused, gave nemu a very long look and continued eating it anyway LOL it was a success!!!! technically!!!!!

kuukou btw has done something very similar in preparing tofu to taste like meat in order to trick his dad into thinking he’s eating meat in their vegan meals LOL

your rating of how kukou is characterized across different hypmic media kinda inspired me to psychoanalyze the ichiros i've seen so far akjsdhgkjs

i think one of the biggest things that bothers me in rhyme anima is how ichiro says to jiro and saburo that samatoki tried to kill them?? not sure if im the only one who feels that this felt pretty ooc of him to say especially with how the manga depicted their forced face off against each other. i forgot if it was the dont play no game i cant win dt or some other incident involving kidnapping but i clearly remember ichiro saying that samatoki would never resort to something like that. even if those two ended up despising each other for a good while at least they begrudingly admit that theres certain things the other wouldnt do. but if theres one thing i kinda appreciate rhyme anima for its sprinkling in tiny moments where ichiro does let his loser side show (aughhhh thank u hifumi for dragging the guys into helping out with the fragrance nagoya branch) i think overall the over the top silliness of anima+ kinda just also let him be more silly (at least thats the way i see it (ichikuu banter on the bridge u mean the world to me)) but also for some reason literally one of the things i can remember at the top of my head is ichiro constantly yelling TBH for some reason.

for hypsute ive only seen season 1 and grateful cypher so far, but so far my impression of sute ichiro is that he can be kinda brooding(????) at times??? lmao aksdjgh idk if its just me but i havent seen him really let loose even around jiro and saburo? i think during the concert portion of hypsute akiran ichiro creates a good mix of "whoa das buster bros leader" and "ahahahaha hes just a boy ueee" kinda vibes if u know what i mean sdjkghsdkjg

ichiro feels particularly broody in the first bbmtc manga run like i remember i kept laughing at the way ichiro would get mad at his bros lack of teamwork together and then he’d storm off in a sulk and it fried me every time lol, but i tend to ascribe early hypmic characterisations as to what the stage based most of their takes on with a dash of theatrics

a big point of difference between kuukou and his ghost is while they both share the belief that humans are weak, ghost kuukou believes that he can guide and protect everyone but kuukou stresses that he can only lend his strength; it’s up to you to figure out how to live life

ghost kuukou thinks this way bc he believes he is strong and it’s his duty as the strong to be their strength, but kuukou is very self aware and believes he’s weak and the point i am again making is that since ghost kuukou reflects kuukou, kuukou may have potentially learned a very hard lesson about his strengths and weaknesses—
