the robes are truly a hit amongst the team aka we dont have to use our brains and we just put on a robe its fantastic, mackie maffhew and nosey are on absolutely onboard unsurprisingly

even if you staunchly stood by emily/fig's suspicion of porter from the beginning, the reveal of porter being a multiclass paladin makes sense when you realize charisma is a paladin's spellcasting ability

this season, porter got both fig and gorgug to eventually warm up to him, and even though fig wrote on his teacher evaluation that she wasn't sure if he was evil or not, both of them gave him all 5's

porter has some very funny bits in this campaign and brennan really had me letting my guard down around him!! i laughed so much when he went into a rage to avoid having adaine detect thoughts; we thought it was to avoid her seeing his thoughts about zara

and all along it could be because if she pushed deeper, his plan would be revealed

In theory i like the idea that rick is growing and developing as a person. In practice it ends up falling short though, because no one balances him out. rick is getting better while no one else is getting worse, and it causes the whole thing to end up feeling a bit stale. The biggest draw, at least for me, has always been rick and morty's shitty dynamic, but it barely exists anymore because rick has been so watered down.

The ideal solution is literally just to make morty into a bigger asshole. Essentially flipping the main characters' personalities would offer a wide variety of conflict into the show, and would also help keep it "fresh".

Instead it feels the writers are pretending that they can't possibly do anything with morty's character, that they have to keep him the same anxious idiot he was in season one. I've said this before, but it's incredibly frustrating to watch the show have no problem with expanding rick's character while struggling with keeping morty's heavily stagnated characterization consistent. Where rick has space to develop between multiple seasons, morty is constantly forced into one of two boxes (smart/stupid) depending on the episode.

So in the base plot she isn't really mentioned but there is lore that one of the bartenders (James) is the work dad to the hot bartender. And he's got a girlfriend who is never mentioned by name. Buuuut in the Royalty AU there's a young woman named Erin who is hired as the new head gardener at the castle and while she is getting adjusted to the role, she has some assistance from someone she used to work with at the flower shop in town. And that's the hot gardener!

So basically, Erin exists more in the AU than she does in canon/base but I'm stressed and wanted to design her.

For those that are new/don't know my OCs, Hot Bartender (HB) will never be given a name. That's just him now. He's the hot bartender. He's got a huge crush on Paul (another side character). That's Erin's work son vicariously in main and her work son directly in AU.

The gongorinan is a qlippoth, which in PF2e are the beings who lived in the outer rifts before demons started forming and pushed them to the outskirts. Gongorinan are some of the stronger ones, standing 6 feet (1.8 m) at the top of thier shell. They can force you to drop any tool you're holding, have innate spells to petrify and turn you into an animal, and can make you slow and clumsy by showing you the horrors inside thier maw. Those horrors are all the forms it can turn you into, as even without thier spells they can turn you into animals, plants, or even fungi. That's thier ultimate plan, make everyone return to monke so you can't conceptualize sin, and therefore don't become damned. Cut off the flow of demons at the source to get the afterlife back to how it should be. Sounds like a reasonable plan to me! So if you've always wanted to be an animal, here's your chance!

Thinking about the time I was playing Runescape as a literal 9 year old and happened to meet a more experienced player in all black armor and a red cape who showed me good spots to mine and gave me a couple of good items for a new player. I remember we hung out and talked for a good long bit while they gave me some good pointers about the game. There's something that really touches me about people in multiplayer gaming spaces choosing to be nice to strangers for no other reason than to be kind. Harry has to go back when he’s 14 because his name came out of the goblet and the magical contract is so strong that even a world away ignoring the summons could kill him. And on a more meta standpoint he has to be there so Voldemort can be brought back so Harry can eventually kill him.

And it tears Aerith apart to have to send him back. To not be able to save him just like she couldn’t save Cloud. To know that he will be hurt no matter what she does.

But, she is nothing if not resourceful.

So she sends Harry back to his planet at 14 but she also sends all of AVALANCHE (plus a few extras maybe idk) with him and they are frankly out for blood.
