'You are my everything, and I couldn't have done any of this without you.' Tears well up in your eyes as you listen to him. 'Thank you,' you say, your voice choked with emotion. 'I love you so much, and I'm so excited to start this new chapter with you.' Kylian leans in and kisses you, and you can feel the love and support between you. You know that the move to Spain will be a big change, but with Kylian by your side, you know you can handle anything. As you continue to pack and prepare for the move, you can't help but think about all the funny moments and memories you've shared with Kylian. You remember when he accidentally dyed his hair green before a big game, or when he tried to cook you dinner and ended up burning the pasta. You laugh at these memories and cherish them, knowing that they're just a small part of the incredible journey you're on together.

God I could write a novel about how great of a character Zoro is... I'm rewatching and I'm at his fight with Mr.1, and just.... He has such an intricate monologue when he's fighting, and it gives so much insight to how his thoughts work, and shows how deeply analytical and self reflective he is.

He progresses intentionally, and logically. He thoroughly works out problems until he finds the solution, and he reflects on what he knows about mental fortitude and instinctual/spiritual connections. If Zoro does this to advance his physical abilities, then it's safe to say that he does this to solve his mental and emotional shortcomings as well.

There's a lot of Buddhism/Taoism influence in how Zoro processes his emotions and events that occur. It comes across as unemotional but I feel like oda puts so much effort into getting his intentions across.

Also he's not unemotional during his inner monologues. His inner thoughts are always very sentimental and a lot of his power is gained by embracing and trusting in his emotional bonds with people. Zoro allows himself to feel every emotion as it comes, but he embraces them all as something to benefit from. His emotions drive him forward. He creates these deep bonds, and is driven by heartfelt promises he's made to people very special to him. That is Zoro's motivation.

That's why during all of his big fights, when we get a look at his inner thoughts, I end up getting very emotional, because ZORO is emotional. Anyways ppl who say Zoro's emo,unemotional,&stupid are projecting.

im feeling so fucking insane about daisira and jonmartin parallels rn basira basically already lost daisy (or her version of daisy/the daisy she knew) after the unknowing while despite jon not being Himself (human (though this is another can of worms i wont open)) after the coma martin was able to get to know the actual jon for the first time during the safehouse era and beyond but regardless both basira and martin were in love with people who were already dead and withering away, who could not return to their old selves, who were destined for death . basira will forever be waiting for someone she know cannot return and martin will forever be cherishing a version of someone he knows he will lose ARGHH

Tarah in Urithiru! - chapter 44, Oathbringer

I know Tarah is a very unpopular character in the fandom, but that’s exactly the reason I wanted to draw her! There are hardly any fanarts of her and I tend to give attention to unpopular characters, it’s my weakness.

I loved the flashback of her and Kaladin in the 3rd book and I was in shock after reading some posts on reddit about she was also in Urithiru! I am very curious about this character, I love a lot her design always wearing colorful Thaylen clothes and I love her confident personality. I have drawn her as she is described in chapter 44 by Veil in the tavern.

And I also drew with her clothes and hairstyle described in her flashback:

Reading fan fiction this year changed me. I don't know where I'd be if I didn't have it. A bit dramatic, but this year was shite personally. Not much going for me, too many responsibilities. I felt I never had anything for me alone. But the fact that I could just get on ao3 and turn off my brain for bit and simply have fun, engross myself in something I love, even just for a few precious minutes. That made all the difference.

I explored so much of what I enjoy through someone else's perspective and it opened my eyes to who I am. I discovered I love love. It's something I crave and hope to eventually have when the time is right. Although, not everything I read was about love, there was still so much joy in the act of reading. I read novels this year too that gave me the same feeling, but being able to interact with the writers on ao3 made it so much better. Knowing the author has seen my appreciation for their work and interacting with them is the fucking cherry on top, I love it so much.

That brings me to my other discovery. Less a discovery and more of an observation to something I already knew about myself, but don't talk about so openly, I LOVE HUMAN BEINGS. I found myself thinking that a lot or just saying it out loud after reading something that warmed my body and soul. In every way that we as humans can exist, whether through our physical body or in memories told, we crave connection. We need it to sustain our minds. For a while in my life I felt like if I didn't make a meaningful connection with at least one person in any new path, nothing I was doing mattered. That's not always true, but in instances where you are trying to accomplish something, what's the point of it if you can't share it with someone. So in all the time I spent reading I made sure to appreciate the human behind it. The stories I read surrounded the human condition. Purpose, morality, conflict, and death. There is more that makes up the human condition but those key points are prominent because so many writers/readers I interacted with experience those things in different ways, but rely on fan fiction to alleviate the heavy feeling those conditions might bring.

Being human is a unique experience for all of us. Sometimes its unbelievably hard to experience, but in those moments where it just makes sense, the clarity of humanity, is where I sat back and appreciated being alive.

All that to say fan fiction saved me.
