The lego thing is because I explained that a siphonophore is basically like a giant lego statue, one big thing but it's made of many little independent pieces fused together. Mar would probably love Legoland yeah

He would waste his magic reserves and UM themselves so everyone gets to have fun yeah

Biggest thing Mar has paralyzed was.... Sebek's horse... He got promptly banned from ever signing up into the honse club.

Thoughts on book 6 while it's still fresh in my mind because that was a lot :')

The whole story in general is great to me tbh It's one of the rare visual novel format games where I actually take the time to read the main story but book 6 felt very special for many reasons

I think it's since everyone in the teams (minus the fools that came to get grim and bring Vil his cosmetics) Has overblotted already and they know how it is, they were already more or less in the process of working on themselves and somehow kept on thinking things through during the long descent into tartarus. In every book there's a sense of urgency during the overblot phase, and there too but it takes them so much time to actually reach down and realize what's has been happening for the last 4 to 5 hours that they had time to experience conflict and bonding. I did every single battle in every hangar to read all these little interactions, the bickering, kicks and compliments.

It was exhausting in the best possible way.

Making a bullet list of what struck me from this point because I have trouble explaining things clearly especially when there is a lot of things :')

Battles : so many, poorly rewarded in gems but great reward in interactions actually

Ost : 10/10 will remember, I love synthetizer sounds and Ignihyde/book 6 did not disappoint

Jamil mumbling the whole time trying to have a strategy against the phantoms while Leona casually keeps ripping into him (and firing spells at him because he's in the way, cats are assholes so this checks out/pos)

Riddle and Azul both wanting to be right in their explanations everyone yaps and no one listens

Pomefiore was vibing though and I loved that for them

Jamil you had 3 hours you could've slept it doesnt take that long to gather supplies for two please sleep

So uh...? Did the phantoms lure Ortho to merge with them or was there and Actual part of late Ortho down there....? Either way, eerie, I like that

Robots getting a heart/soul is one of my favorite themes ever I am so happy for the little guy

Also Ortho has the same seiyuu as Mikaze Ai from utapri who is a singing robot i am going insane about that (and he sings the op song for kono oto tomare but that's unrelated) Love that seiyuu

Sobbing for Idia because he must've felt really done with everything and desperate to be able to actually Overblot (Au bord du gouffre, et au fond du trou as I'd say in french idk how to explain this)

Please Idia share things, it's scary to think about it but it's actually not that bad and sharing your interests feels great, you already do that in a way at the board games club, continue this way

Vil was the MVP throughout the whole book honestly beautiful in every way hearing him genuinely cry and then laugh in such a short span of time threw me off positively

Unfortunately I remembered Grim has the same seiyuu as h*talia england so hearing him cry felt weird for a second, happy he's back though

Mickey apparitions feel so off everytime it pulls me out of the immersion in the story because it's so goofy (it's like hearing donald duck take damage in Kingdom hearts battles I can't take it seriously it's too funny)

That's about it ! And I'm probably forgetting a bunch of other details right now but I loved book 6 despite my complaining posts :") I have trouble knowing how I feel in general/processing my own feelings and put words onto them but I like stories like this because it helps with that ?? I really feel happy and sad and other things, and realize it the moment I feel it ?? Once again I don't really know how to explain it but it's a positive experience.

Anyway here's my ssrs, what's painful is farming for the spell materials honestly but My Rollo is maxed out and well taken care of ✨️ Malleus and Lilia do decent damage as well and have their spells either maxed or at 8 each. Though I tend to level up cards based on their looks and favorites rather than how useful they are :)) I have no idea if there's a single healer in there I'll check it out later.

But for now I will harrass Sam until I get at least one ssr perfume in his lootboxes so I can uncap savanaclaw Rook once more and have him forever locked up in the guest room with Rollo, the closest thing to croissant de lune I'll have in game hhhjgfje

Uh- lil' Hermes Rook.... 👉👈 From @rakiah's twstOdysseus AU ! I only know the musical from afar and don't remember too much about the whole odysseus lore (I do remember that hermes is pretty chill and a messenger though) but I love the design sm eeee, saw him before going to bed, slept very well.

I still have 3 hours left of waiting before I can resume my progress in book 6 with every team at once so here's a few shitposts in the meanwhile, it's really fun to read so far

I went to bed around 5 am yesterday, hopefully I go through the second half before that time tonight (after the last 3hours of waiting-)

Alright I'm a bit over halfway through book 6, still not at the sad part but- (~chapter 40)

First off, I didn't expect this much Rook yapping and I'm really happy with that. Queens gotta slay even if abducted, you go and do your duty man, pass him the cosmetics. Really even in that case or when Epel + yuu decided to tag along he had only admiration and saw the best of things in any situation I love that so much. Glad I never spoiled myself on book 6 and learnt by myself about his villas and siblings :'D Dang man tell us more...

But most importantly as I listened to his fantastically pronounced french(/pos) I noticed that what he was saying did not always stick with what was written in french in text if french or text at all sometimes. And more particularly, the nickname he gives Idia. Written as "Roi de sa chambre" BUT he CLEARLY PRONOUNCES it "Roi de TA chambre" which seems minor but it changes the dynamic (on a small scale but still)

"Roi de SA chambre" translates to "King of HIS bedroom" whereas "Roi de TA chambre" translates to "King of YOUR bedroom" and "TU/TON/TA" is the singular second person pronoun, which is undistinguishable from the formal and plural version in english but is in french. Talking to others by using "TU" is called "tutoyer" and indicates that you are or feel familiar enough with others to refer to them by "TU" (used casually among people of roughly the same age/family/acquaintances. Any other person/stranger/staff except kids is usually refered to by "vous". And honestly sometimes even if someone way older tells me I can use "tu" I can't, I don't feel at ease but that's just me being uh, me/derogatory.)

This isn't anything huge especially since Rook and other classmates are in the same age range so it's only normal he's referring to them in a familiar way. Sure he calls some of them "monsieur" but it's part of a fun little nickname he gives them with his own degree of endearment?? I guess?? (Except EN has a bunch if not most, of whack nickname translations that I don't quite get and are dumb as hell.... and Idia and Rollo's nicknames?? one gets roasted and the other uh.... yeah no Roi du Mouchoir that's insta banned for me) So have the nickname changed to "roi de sa" chambre makes it like he talks as if Idia isn't even there ?? why ? Anyone would say "ha, you are the king of your room" and not "you are the king of his room" unless there were a third party involved in said conversation...

That's all, I'm diving back in now, I just couldn't hold it in and needed to yap

TL;DR : en translation is whack, french individual complains (as any french would do) about the french mistranslations compared to what Rook speaks in audio

Pomefiore shenanigans and Deuce casually doing the human during training flag as asked for an upcoming spectacle Idk yet if I add a bit of shine or decoration to the thief outfits or if I lust leave it like that, not that it would matter much in monochrome but I want them to be stylish at all times Other info is that this is a non magic circus, including the magic tricks ! Of course the theft is done without the use of magic as well, it's much more thrilling that way. Circus Corvus is based in Sage Island on an artificial peninsula No theft operation is done on Sage Island, the rest isn't spared :))))

Bonus cheebs, I just wanted to make the joke w/ leona but He's probably going to be on the "got robbed" side of this story.
