Goodbye. 👋

After much deliberating, we have decided to put 9 Squares on an indefinite hiatus. You’ll still see the archive here on Tumblr and we may pop up now and again for special occasions, but we are no longer curating the regular squares. We’re truly humbled by the response our project gained, and are so grateful to everyone who took the time to design a square or get involved in some other way: you made 9 Squares the success and inspiration it became. We can’t wait to see the new directions and collaborations the motion design community comes up with next. Yours, Al, David and Skip

9 Squares + Late At Tate

A special round of 9 Squares created for the Late At Tate event in Tate Britain on the evening of November 6th 2015. The theme for the event was ‘body’ and the colour palette for this round was inspired by the Francis Bacon triptych, above which this 9 squares round was projected on the evening.
