Crack: Thomas Jr., like the dear older brother that he is, decides to perform some ancient ritual to summon the ghosts of their parents, specifically to tell them that Bruce wants to drop out of med school to make time for his vigilante bs.

Bruce, meanwhile, is on a conference call with the JL about something when his famously dead parents float through the ceiling, glaring behind him.

Thomas: BRUCE THOMAS WAYNE, YOU HAVE SOME EXPLAINING TO DO

Bruce, going through the 5 stages of grief: MOM?! DAD?! HOW–

Martha: Your brother summoned us from the afterlife. Now, what did we hear about you wanting to drop out of med school?!

Bruce: You're not disappointed that I'm a vigilante?

Martha: Honey, we don't care that you're a vigilante. Knowing our family history, it's pretty par for the course, actually.

Thomas: What we do care about is our children becoming doctors. We are NOT letting you drop out!

Bruce, seeing the chance to mess with his brother: TJ NEVER WENT TO COLLEGE

Thomas and Martha: WHAT?!

Thomas and Martha are yelling at TJ about "being a good example for his younger brother." The Justice League is now questioning how young Batman actually is for him to still be in college, knowing that he's been a vigilante for a while. All while thinking, "You're Bruce Wayne? THAT Bruce Wayne??? Wait, Bruce Wayne has a brother????"

A whole new dimension of fun and interesting stuff opens up if Bruce Wayne is bestowed a kind of chilled out, mildly morally deadbeat older brother that swings by the Manor unannounced when he's finished tropical vacations and stints skiing. Who loudly ponders what the fuck goes on in that basement (and prompts everyone in the house to be on their best fake identity stuff imaginable) and routinely fails to convince Bruce (who would do any drug with anyone else) to do shrooms with him. He'd openly hobnob with gangsters and refer to Alberto Falcone as a dear friend. Thomas Wayne Jr. or whatever can be the prototype for Bruce's insane persona but shocks most of Gotham by calling his brother deeply boring, spoiling the Batbrood, treating Alfred fully like a butler instead of even remotely like a father figure, and finding out about Jason's death entirely too late and being at the funeral in the same Hawaiian shirt that he landed at the airport in.

Young! Dick thought living with Bruce was unbearable until he ran away and lived with his short of-kind of- through adoption - uncle.

“He has you on a curfew? Lame. Go out, have fun, get stabbed. Builds character!”

“Vegetables? lol?? Here’s 20 bucks and a soda. Vending machines’ down the street.”

TJ completely vanishes when he wants to. Like there’s an underworld in Gotham only he has access to. He becomes one with shadow and leaves Dick by himself for a worrying amount of time.

And patrol? Nightmare. First off, TJ’s turf crawls with filth from head to toe. He’s in the red light district, — every section of Gotham is a red light for Dick, thought, — raging from worst, to a thing beyond worst.

Bruce isn’t surprised when a small bundle leaps into his arms the minute he crosses Owl-Man and his newfound sidekick. Former. Dick is no sidekick. He’s Bruce’s partner.

“Asleep?”

“Sedated.”

“Junior.”

“Have you seen this kid flip? You’re welcome. Anyway, happy I could help. You know you totally owe me one, right?”

“Come home for dinner.”

“Nope.”

“Alfred says so.”

Idk if you sent this ask to the wrong person (lol), but I'm gonna write down my TJ hcs anyway

He operates under the belief that nothing really matters, that the universe is hopeless, blah blah blah. Because of this, he actually considers Bruce to be "puppies and rainbows" to a certain degree since Bruce holds what he thinks to be, an insanely optimistic (borderline naive) outlook on Gotham's future and people's potential to be good

It confuses the majority of people since his "sunshiney younger brother" is fucking *BATMAN*, who's famous for being the most paranoid person in the planet

100% lets the Batkids do whatever they want. He doesn't really care, but when Bruce scolds them, he takes it as a chance to mess with him, and he brings up all the deranged shit Bruce did in his childhood. (Like that scene in Rick and Morty where Rick shows Beth her concerning childhood toys)

He and Bruce were a nightmare to deal with for Alfred, especially during Bruce's teenage dirtbag years

Tbh, I'm not even sure if he fully grew out of the Teenage Dirtbag phase

When he was younger, he didn't really know what to do with his life, and often asked himself, "What's the point?" It led to him developing a bit of a drug addiction

He's about 10ish years older than Bruce, and after that night in the alley, he decided to go to rehab. He was kind of...a mess at the time, and figured that it would've been better for everyone, Bruce especially, if he just avoided the Manor

His relationship with his parents is...complicated

He didn't wanna be the one to continue the Wayne legacy, and he holds no respect for authority

People take one look at him and immediately clock that he has daddy issues

Was intrigued by the concept of the multiverse and went dimension hopping for a bit. He's definitely Seen Some Shit because of it

Even when Bruce was like 20 already, he still treated him like he was a kid. He learned about the whole Batman thing, and his first thoughts were, "You decided to cosplay that cartoon you watched growing up?"

Mentally compares Bruce's vigilantism to a kid playing superhero. He thinks it's pointless and kinda dumb, but eh, if it makes Bruce happy

Doesn't trust the Justice League. At all. He thinks of them as "Bruce's dumb weird friends." He definitely also has his own plans on how to take them down

Showed up as "Owlman" a few times to make fun of Batman

Has definitely made of Bruce for the Matches Malone thing

Visits like, once a decade. It's mostly to check if everything's gone to shit or not

Fanfic Idea

I've always been curious with DC Earth-3 and this is just an idea I want to share and it's something that's been in my head for a long while…

Batman in Earth-3, but with a twist...

Batman dies and his soul is transfers into the corpse of Bruce Wayne of Earth-3. With the corpse healed and revitalize, as if it didn't mummified. Batman assess, and take action; ignoring the pain, he kept digging until he reaches to the surface. He manages to dug himself out. Batman (or just Bruce for now), stuck in a body of a child, in an earth where the superheroes are evil. As he wanders in Gotham, Bruce is cornered by some thugs, Bruce fought back, with his current body he mimics the fighting style of Robin. One of the thugs has a gun and is about to shoot Bruce, but Jokester came in and helps Bruce. Thomas Wayne Jr, is then notified that someone desecrates family graves, particularly his brother's. He finds his corpse missing. He investigates and he finds his brother, alive and didn't age.
