Ive seen the claim that Stolas' line "I've always thought so highly of you, I didnt know you thought so low of me" isnt supposed to be gaslighting Blitzo but to illustrate the differences in their perspective: Blitzo thinks Stolas is just a stereotypical haughty Goetia royal who is just using him and couldn't possibly actually care for him, but this doesn't work as an interpretation because Stolas has never shown that he thinks "highly" of Bltizo, and in fact he's denying he ever objectified and made Blitzo uncomfortable despite all the times he was told to stop.

Story prompt

Blitz and Stolas marry, and are in a honeymoon phase. Living alone in a house Blitz starves himself and works nights to afford. They invite “the daughters” who are pressured to be sisters but still incompatible complete strangers, over for “family” dinner. Things are picture perfect just like a sinsmas card. Via, with her emotions, willpower and resistance recently worn down like blitzs once were, plays along. Like she’s supposed to.

Until she finds her dad’s apparent second mobile phone in the medicine cabinet. Unlocked, his notifications clumsily left on. Via had only opened it thinking she was being helpful, and when she checked the screen.

Talks of ‘i cant wait to see you. It’s just not the same’ ‘I feel so trapped’ and ‘you make me feel free” come from her dad, and from this newest red fool: ‘Im here’ ‘you deserve better’ ‘are you sure he doesn’t suspect anything when you leave at night?’ Well. Better than it being in the marriage bed this time. She supposes.

Blitz prepares all of vias favourite foods, none of them cheap, gives her the softest seat pillow, smiles sheepishly and avoids eye contact with her, as if he’s the one to blame for this situation. The one with guilt. As if these were all his choices. Worse still, when Blitz would look up at his “saviour” with those puppy eyes, or kiss his cheek so lovingly, Via continued to feel terrible.

At the end of the evening Loona silently left for her apartment. Stolas goes to shower. Blitz did all the dishes himself, just like he had done the cooking. Via finds the imp asleep on his couch. Alone. Smiling. Content. Someone once so sharp, observant, and aware, is now so oblivious. He didn’t even notice the red and gold feather under the couch cushions. Or the one between the pages of Stolas’ book. Via thinks she had even seen one in the shower. She sighs, and puts an arm around his shoulder.

“Thank you for trying. But it will never work. Nothing will ever be enough. I’m sorry, I know it will hurt, but you’ll understand eventually.”

Criticisms Of Sasusaku Are Similar To Stolitz

Seriously so much of Sasusaku and Stoltiz has the same problems especially with the fact when one party isn't really themselves when they are with each other. They always are a doormat to their significant other who constantly belittles them and have done tons of horrible shit to them. While Blitzo at first stood up for himself, Sakura just remained submissive to everything and acted like Sasuke didn't need to apologize for everything. However, it still is irksome to see Blitzo becoming lobotomized to think Stolas is the one for him even when he's a pos.

Octavia and Verosika did NOTHING wrong. Octavia has the right to not like her dad who ignored and neglected her in order for his one-sided affair. Verosika has the right to hate Blitzo (to quote my queen Veroska) maxed out her credit card on shitty horse riding lessons and left her to pay for the hotel. Octavia got called a COCK BLOCKING SLUT by one of the CREATORS OF HELLUVA BOSS! And Verosika constantly gets called a bitch, slut, or whore. I love Octavia and Verosika, they have done no wrong and I am taking them from Vivziepop.

Also Verosika looks so good in the outfits the Helluva Boss team puts her in and I’m supposed to hate her? No fuck that I love her so much and she has probably one of the best or the best design out of all the Helluva Boss characters.

Octavia also deserves a better dad. She’s also got an actually pretty cool design, she’s just a little silly who has also has a great voice actor!

I will admit to give credit where credit is due, Viv somehow made me not like her show with one season.

That episode was literally trying to justify cheating. Aparently "its ok to cheat if your cheating on your wife with a man!"

Like do I have to remind IN THE FIRST EPISODE OF THE SERIES BLITZØ WAD FINE KILLING A FAMILY WHERE THE MAN CHEATED WITH A WOMAN?

I am tired I dont know HOWWW people can think that this is ok. If ANYONE gets cheated on they CAN BE ANGRY! IT IS NOT FUCKING JUSTIFIABLE AT ALL.

And just like I predicted, they are gonna use Millie being pregnant as a way to grow her character.

Honestly its the double standards and the justifying cheating that makes me hate this.

Vivziepop's unintentional ability in making stolas more unlikable is actually impressive

Just a few comments I've read and found true about Stolas' and Blitz's "relationship".

This shows that this ship isn't only toxic, but extremely abusive and downright damaging mentally, how anyone can see it as "wholesome" is beyond me, but one thing I know for sure, is that this... "relationship" is nothing short of creepy, disgusting and horrible, especially taking into consideration the fact that they're willing to make an innocent 17 year old girl become the scapegoat to push this ship forward... No wonder why I dipped.

The third image is especially damning, since it completely gives a horrifying perspective to the events unfolding in Mastermind, Stolas did all of this not because of love, but because he would be able to use this as heavy leverage against Blitz and be "forgiven" from any disgusting shit he does to the imp.

So yeah, there you have it, Stolas' "sacrifice" wasn't even a selfless act, it was just another instance of him doing something, fully expecting something back in the process.

Thinking about how levinson and medrano compared blitz to the horse from “Spirit”

If you don’t know the plot. He’s a horse who doesn’t want to be domesticated and broken in by a human. It’s referenced a lot in “stolitz” in different kinds of imagery: from the hoody to the leashes. I think the intention is a metaphor, stolas, a civilised person, breaking the wild, sexually liberated animal blitz into monogamy, submission, and servitude. Yet somehow, even spirit gives the animal character more agency and humanity than helluva boss rewards blitz with.

They sort of slowly break down his spirit across both seasons. In truth seekers blitz learns who “the real” boss is, as dream sequence stolas breaks him in on a chain leash, then appears in physical form to overpower everyone in the room, including blitz. In the end, he rewards stolas with sex. But there’s a back and forth, blitz resists, stolas forces the issue using aggression, coercion, conveniently timed ‘generosity’, shaming, guilt tripping, and gaslighting. Also by comparing him to the violent striker, who has hurt blitzs friends, all to make him feel like a monster for ever questioning stolas. And it works. Vivziepops sees this as the correct comparison to make.

So as we notice, blitz never does that again. Verosika, Millie, fizz, striker, Stella, Andrealphus, and Loona, Even satan!! all now only exist to get blitz to love, date and satisfy this bird. And most importantly, to worship and obey.

So we finally are left with the “fixed” blitz that we have now. An imp who bathes, feeds, dresses, defends, kisses, and compliments a Goetia. Who allows a Goetia to insult and berate his food, life, and his hobbies. To destroy his belongings. And one who scoffs at the idea of a polyamorous desire. An imp who will undermine his own career and his own found family, in order to dream of a relationship and raising children in a traditional blended nuclear family with this Goetia. Who will change the foundation of who he is, to make this Goetia, his client, happy. As he is nothing more than his clown, sex provider, bodyguard, and butler.

Levinson, Medrano, and spindle horse tell us, that truer love than that, is hard to find.

You know the scene where it almost looked like the colonel was going to succeed in breaking Spirit, after tying him up in the desert sun without food or water for three days and then staying on his back until he struggled to the point of near collapse? If that actually did break Spirit forever, and if it were played entirely as the right thing for the colonel to do, watching that would be like watching what's happening to Blitz now.

What I find gross about that sinner character is her two daughters don’t even seem to be mourning their dead mother. They’re just acting like she never existed.

Just like Blitzs daydream. He pretends Octavia’s mother never existed, she’s just this nameless faceless surrogate egg donor who’s gotten out of the way now. Has been replaced with a man which is an improvement. So Viv has to make the woman purely evil and unfeeling to force it to work. Then blitz throws the obnoxious straw man of a woman character out of a glass window for not liking the gay erotica stolas wrote and earlier stolas tells her to shut her mouth. Her young daughters don’t even care that she’s dead.

That’s messed up.

Vivienne’s hatred of women and obsession with gay men’s love as something ��more pure” is so creepy and so poisonous.
