Hello, my dear! I think that I can share an idea or two that I have for them:

Both Amy and Blaze were in complete denial over each other returning their feelings. They both believed that it was a one-sided crush that wouldn’t happen. It wasn’t until Sonic and Tails confronted them both about the situation. With both Tails and Sonic knowing Amy and Blaze’s feelings towards one another, the two brothers set up a rendezvous for them both to meet and talk it out. Amy and Blaze haven’t stopped thanking the boys for setting them up since.

Sonic, Tails, Silver, and Knuckles are their biggest fans. They’re very supportive of the two and would fight tooth and nail for them.

Blaze will combust into flames if she receives a hug or a compliment from Amy. Amy practically melts and babbles/stammers nonstop if she also received a hug or a peck on the cheek and hand.

Blaze is also known to purr in Amy’s presence. She makes sure to keep it low enough for Amy to not hear, but it’s hind of hard to do when she sees Amy’s smile.

Though not the best baker or chef, Blaze tries to make Amy surprise pastries on occasion. Blaze has burned cookies, cupcakes, cakes, and many more each time she bakes. Amy has always made sure to compliment her efforts and eats the whole serving.

Amy likes to bring Blaze exotic tea blends every time they see each other. It’s usually in a small wooden box with decorative utensils to dip tea leaves in. Blaze appreciates it immensely!

Amy and Blaze like to comb the beaches in the Sol Dimension to collect broken shells and sea glass to turn into jewelry.

Whenever Amy visits the Sol Dimension to see Blaze on Southern Island, the two spend the whole day together wandering around town. Sometimes they go and visit the local shops and the farmer’s market, other times they take a ship and sail across the ocean to visit other islands. It’s always an adventure with them.

Amy calls Blaze her “Cotton Candy Lioness,” Blaze calls Amy her “Sweet Potato.”

Blaze is an excellent pianist. Her inspiration comes from all of her adventures and AmyRose’s kindness. Though she mostly keeps her music to herself, Amy has listened to a few of her pieces. Amy is the only person to hear her completed music.

Both Amy and Blaze love the autumn and spring months of the year. They love to see the changing of seasons both on Earth and in the Sol Dimension.

Amy meets everyone but Sonic

I think it would be funny/interesting if Amy doesn’t meet Sonic until the end or near climax of the movie.

From what I can remember from the games, Amy would almost always do something small within the sideline of the story that becomes impactful in the main story. Best example of this is how her interaction between Silver and Shadow both play a part in them switching from antagonist to friends/allies to Sonic and his friends.

If the SCU introduces Amy in the third film I think this would be the best way to go about it if she doesn’t get as much screen time. There could be a side plot where Amy is trying to find Sonic but she meets everyone that has some connection to him instead. Each person she meets she helps/supports them in a small but impactful way that helps Sonic and friends in a big way by the climax or end of the film.

They could give us a taste of Amy’s strengths and feisty nature by showing her teaming up with knuckles (maybe give them a dynamic similar to Sonic X or IDW). Then they can establish her kindness and determination to help those who have been wronged, by showing her helping tails at his lowest point (maybe Amy helps tails in his SA2 arc or help him break sonic out of prison island). Finally, by the climax of the film Amy indirectly helps Sonic in the biggest way possible by reminding Shadow of his promise to Maria which encourages him to aid Sonic in saving the world.

Bonus points if throughout the film there this running gag of Sonic and Amy keep just missing each other.

Sonic: sorry I’m late to the party, I heard from tails that you guys might need some back up

Knuckles: no need little brother we have defeated our new foe with the help of a valiant new ally.

Wade: yeah your pink girlfriend was a lot of help 😄

Sonic:… Wade i don’t have a girlfriend why would you assume

Wade: oh she is a pink hedgehog like you and she got really excited when she found out that we know you so sh..

Sonic: Wade you can’t just assume we’re together just because we’re both hedgehogs I don’t even kno… wait! She's a hedgehog too?! And she’s on our side!

Where is she? I gotta meet her! * starts dashing round the battle field*

Wade: as I was just saying you just missed her and she was actually looking for yo..

Sonic: dang I was really hoping to catch her this time she sounds like a fun gal.

After Amy reminds Shadow of his promise to Maria and so Shadow joins Sonic in facing the final threat of the film (black arm, bio lizard, metal sonic?).

Sonic: hey shads come to join the party? What changed your mind?

Shadow: your pink friend reminded me of something important…

Sonic: *looks confused for a second before realizing who he’s talking about*

Sonic: no way… she really is something special…😊

DC Sonic - Earth 3 / Anti Mobius

Sonic / Flash counterpart would be Scourge / Johnny Quick. Being more like Evil Sonic instead of scourge he would be more of a basic bully and impulsively following his own whims.

Tails / Cyborg counterpart would be Miles Prower / Grid. After deconstructing Dr. Kintobor's technology he would finally be able to overpower his bullies. From there he would start incorporating it into himself, becoming obsessed with power and joining the Crime Syndicate for a chance to try and manipulate them.

Knuckles / Superman counterpart would be O'Nux / Ultraman. The echidna's Society along with the Master Emerald would have been destroyed, being the last survivor he would hunt down the shards of the Master Emerald to empower himself.

Amy Rose / Wonder Woman counterpart from the previous pattern should be Rosie The Rascal / Superwoman. This won't work though since Lois Lane is superwoman and not Diana Prince in most versions of Earth 3. Not to mention given superwoman's love triangle with Owlman and Ultraman it makes more sense for it to be Rogue The Bat / Superwoman. Given Rosie The Rascal backstory it would actually make more sense for her to be a twisted version of Mary Marvel.

Silver / Green Lantern only having a DC counterpart in Power Ring without a direct counterpart on Anti Mobius. From the Power Rings origin now it may have been given to him by his universe's version of Blaze. Instead having the spirit of Volthoom inside the ring it would have Mephiles who would have pushed him to travel back in time.

Shadow / Batman only having a DC counterpart in Owlman without a direct counterpart on Anti Mobius. Owlman is not actually Bruce Wayne he is Thomas Wayne Jr, Bruce's secret older brother. Shadow does have an older relation that was kept secret as well, the Biolizard. The silver of the outfit would be his life support along with armor. Instead of being too dangerous to contain he would have stayed under control long enough to kill everyone on the Ark before descending the Earth.

... There's also your! Other other friends! Like Rouge the Bat, Omega, and Sha[SHADOW MUST ALWAYS BE BROODING AND CRUEL, HE IS NOT ANYONE'S FRIEND AND DOES NOT CARE ABOUT OTHERS. HE AND SONIC ARE RIVALS]

There's also Blaze the Cat, who get this, is from another dimension! That's super cool! Man, you make friends like this pretty often!

He’s tired of running.

He’s tired of being chased.

But he doesn’t want to get hurt, so he keeps running despite how out of breath he was.

That is, until a figure steps out in front of him, causing him to skid to a stop.

Their head was a blurry mess, which he assumes is because of the tears in his eyes.

Somewhere in his mind he knows the real reason, but he doesn’t get much chance to think on it when more blurry figures surround him.

The forest scenery he’d been running through started morphing into other things. The village, the beach, other clearings around the island, until everything went black.

Everything but those damn figures.

They approached him, causing him to shrink down. He couldn’t do anything. They were blocking any chance of running, and everyone knows he’s far too weak to fight back.

His breathing quickened even more as he curled into him, biting down sobs as he prayed to some God out there to protect him despite knowing nobody would do anything for him.

He was a deformed freak. Why would someone save him?

One of the figures grabbed him, and then everything disappeared.

He was trapped in an endless void as voices bounced around the air, insults worse than anything you could think of thrown at him from every angle.

He just had to take it.

Covering his ears did nothing to drown it out.

A few voices were more prominent than the others. He recognized them.

How could he not, when they were laughing about how much better their life was now that he was no longer a part of it?

The voices eventually merged into one, the sentence being repeated over and over.

It started as some random one he’d heard years ago, then morphed into those of his ex-family’s. His older brother, mother, hell even his father despite the fact he hadn’t heard his voice since he was one year old.

It didn’t stop changing.

It eventually morphed into his new family.

First, Shadow.

Next, Rouge.

Vector, Cream, Silver, Espio, Charmy.

Amy then Knuckles. Until, finally..

It was Sonic.

“Why would anyone want a freak like you in their family?”

Tails’ eyes shot open, breathing uneven and he felt his fur sticking to his skin in the most uncomfortable ways possible due to all the sweat.

His quick breaths slowed as he looked around, recognizing his bedroom.

He was fine.

No one was chasing him.

With a groan, the fox pushed himself into a sitting position. He brought a hand up to rub at his eyes, pausing when he felt the trail of tears on his muzzle.

He swallowed dryly, suddenly feeling very dehydrated. He glanced at his digital clock as he pulled his blanket off to the side, not caring about neatening it. He had to wash it and his sheets anyway because of all the sweat.

3:37 AM.

Tails wiped away his tears as he exited his room, socked feet taking careful steps on instinct to avoid all the creaky planks.

He hated the noise they made. He really needed to fix it.

The kit used the wall for support as he descended down the stairs. He took a deep breath as he made his way to the kitchen.

He stopped in the living room.

Sonic was on his couch, sprawled out in a way that could not be comfortable in any way. Drool spilled from the corner of the hedgehog’s mouth, snores louder than most of the fox’s machinery filled the air.

Tails wanted to roll his eyes at the scene. It wasn’t unusual for Sonic to crash at his place unexpectedly–he did have a key–but did he always have to use the couch? He had a bedroom of his own for this specific reason.

But the fox’s breath felt caught in his throat at the sight of the older, his nightmare flooding his brain full force.

“Why would anyone want a freak like you in their family?”

His ears pressed against his head as new tears piled in the corner of his eyes. He swiped at them, but more immediately took their place.

His breathing started picking up pace and, before he knew it, he was in front of Sonic, his ungloved paw hovering above the hedgehog’s shoulder.

He forced his body to freeze, biting his inner cheek.

Tails is 8 years old now. He shouldn’t be running to his big brother because of a bad dream. He’s old enough to deal with these on his own.

But no matter how hard his mind begs his body to leave the teen be, it’s a losing battle.

His hand makes contact with the hedgehog’s shoulder, shaking it as softly as he can to tell the other he’s not a threat.

“Why would anyone want a freak like you in their family?”

With a grunt, Sonic’s eyes slowly opened as he looked up to see who woke him. Tails immediately regrets it, the teen looks exhausted.

That exhaustion seemed to disappear when Sonic saw the tears welled up in the younger’s eyes.

“You okay?” His voice was groggy, still catching up to the rest of his body being awake. The little fox shook his head as the teen sat up.

“C’mere, kid.” Sonic gave him a sympathetic smile as he opened his arms, inviting the kit to lay on him. Tears finally spilled over as Tails crawled into his hero’s arms.

Sonic shushed the younger, his left hand petting the kit’s head as his right held him close. The kid buried his head into the older’s neck, hiding his tears.

“D’ya have a bad dream, bud?” The teen asked quietly, his head leaning against the fox’s as he gently rocked them.Tails’ head bobbed ever so slightly, hands gripping the hedgehog with a strength you wouldn’t expect an eight year old to possess.

Sonic hummed, letting the kit know he heard him as he continued the slow rocks and gentle pets. He kept it up until the sobs quieted, the death grip on his back easing as the younger pulled away.

The hedgehog frowned at the sight of his brother’s face. It was obvious he had been crying even before waking the teen up, his eyes were too red and his fur was a complete mess.

“Wanna talk?” The older asked, using the hand that was petting the fox to wipe away his tears.

“I-It–” Tails shook his head and leaned into the touch, “It was just.. Bad memories. Westside.” The kit tried not to talk too much, his throat feeling scratchy. He needed some water, but he didn’t want to get up.

“Again?” Sonic frowned. The fox had been having a lot of nightmares about Westside recently.

“I-I know, I’m sorry.” The boy bit his lip, suddenly thinking that this was a terrible idea.

“No, don’t apologize, li’l bro. Not your fault.” The teen pulled the younger into another hug, feeling how much he was shaking.

“Still. I-It’s childish to run to you every time.” Tails grumbled, but he didn’t pull away from the hug. He cuddled into his hero, his namesakes providing them warmth as they curled around.

“Nothin’ wrong with being childish. Or needing help.” Sonic shook his head. He had to break the kit free from that thought process, but he just couldn’t figure out how to do it.

The fox didn’t respond, just closed his eyes as he worked on evening out his breath.

The teen hummed as he moved to lay back down, pulling the cover over the two of them without releasing his hold on his little brother.

“Get some sleep, buddy.” Sonic whispered as he scratched the spot behind Tails’ ears to help ease him. “We can deal with it in the morning.”

The fox nodded as he shifted slightly to be more comfortable, mumbling a quiet goodnight to the older.

The hug paired with the gentle petting made it easy for the kid to fall asleep. He was out within a few seconds.

Sonic sighed, pressing his forehead against the younger’s.

He just wishes there was something he could do to make the nightmares leave his little brother alone.

Pride Month 2024 Sonic Sketches

Second pic made in Procreate, kinda excited about it

Made a few sketches for pride month, kind of started out with a comic were Silver comes out to his mom as bisexual along with a pic of Blaze after telling her dad then decided to draw everyone at a pride parade & showing their pride

Everyone here is kind of based on my own ideas for the characters especially Mephiles since anything involving him has to do with the version I made for him for post-06 reboot. Also some stuff is in color(Blaze's forehead gem, Cosmo's necklace, Amy's headband, Sonic's hair clip, ghost aura stuff) cause it seemed fitting due to the meanings behind the colors on the pride flag.(Like purple for soul)

Like the text says Blaze told her dad & he made her a frog hat to support her. He's a nice/friendly guy that cares a lot, it's unfortunate that Blaze's late mom was so terrible & left with Blaze for her own intentions.

Rouge & Knuckles at pride, I was a little worried about how well I got Rouge's bisexual flag makeup. I eventually fixed up the lipstick & added matching earrings. Knuckles unintentionally looks like a pirate cause I can't draw his hat at angles. So yeah my version of Knuckles & Rouge are bi, Knuckles use to date Sonic(in my ver) & Rouge has some interest in women in the past.(Especially Topaz at one point)

Here's Blaze & Silver, Silver has a bi flag cardigan. Pretty much at some point the two realized together they're bi. They eventually told their parents(well Blaze's mom is gone so she only told her dad) & they luckily have supportive families.

Surge isn't in my Lost Prince stuff but I thought she & Amy were cute together in the fanart people made. I also think Metal was interesting with Amy, at some point gets with her in the future in my Lost Prince AU. Metal at some point stops working for Eggman & tries to make their own identity after a talk with Sonic especially since they were becoming more sentient. Metal wasn't sure what he wanted but eventually figured things out.

The context of the sign is that this is meant to be Tails, Cosmo(revived as a plant/mobian chipmunk hybrid) & Cream when they're older & in their teens or later. The time skip is mostly cause at the moment Cream is pretty young in present day, Tails is too but he's slightly older. I guess you could say Tails & Cosmo had a puppy love or something then things got serious when they were older when Cosmo returned then later Cream joined them.

Cream is pretty accepting of who she's into, I dunno what Cosmo is into(I guess technically bi since she's dating Tails & later Cream when Cream joined the couple), Tails I think maybe straight but I dunno. At the very least Tails is supportive of his friends & brother.

Context for this is just I wanted to add Vanilla & her late spouse so them from the future. Added Vector cause him & Vanilla are kinda cute so he's her relationship from the future. So Vanilla's late partner is my OC Cake who despite willing to be called a dad by their kids(Cream & at some point Sonic cause I like the idea of the rabbits adopting him) & only them, Cake was nonbinary. The rabbit family is pretty accepting of people.

Decided to bring in Gadget & Zero/Infinite, the guy in the corner is Zero's late dad who I'll explain at a late point

And then there's these three. I'm not entirely sure what my thoughts on Shadow & Mephiles are, at some point I think I realized demisexual felt right for Shadow. Like I said before any of my thoughts on Mephiles are specifically for the version I made of him for post-reboot in Sonic 06. I was originally thinking of giving him the male gay pride flag but given what I've done with him in Lost Prince AU I kinda realized he fits in with demisexual too. While my version of Sonic identifies as male he likes dressing in whatever he wants & isn't exactly gender-conforming.

Sonic mostly dressed up for pride & tied a pride flag to his neck like a cape. For some reason Mephiles is the only one I tried making designs for on his outfit.

Here's a cropped version of the comic. Pretty much Silver & Blaze realized they were bisexual, at some point Silver got the courage to tell his mom & later his dads.*

For some context Silver's mom is male & in a relationship with men*, he's pretty accepting so Silver doesn't need to worry much. However his worries are understandable because of being around Blaze a lot & seeing how her mom treated her. Blaze's mom was strict & caused a lot of issues that Blaze is still recovering from. Blaze left with Silver & Venice at some point leading to meeting her dad & becoming estranged from her mom. Her mom is gone now but as said Blaze is still recovering. Silver's family(along with Blaze's dad) understand & reassure Silver, Venice & Blaze that the three are accepted/safe.

*I dunno if the marriage is legal at best I know Silver's dad & his mom's marriage is legal. Venice's(Venice is Silver's half brother) dad went missing for a few years(Eggman was behind it) & ended up joining the relationship after being rescued/talking things out. Venice's dad was able to be part of the wedding as another groom but I dunno if this counts as official/legal by human standards.(I guess technically official by Mobian standards)

Thought I'd make a version without the color for everyone to see. The text about the frog hat is missing because it was connected to the frame I made for the comic involving Silver & his mom.

Epsilon, hurled face-first into an empty classroom with too much force to maintain their balance, barreled through an entire row of desks and chairs. Despite the screech of metal feet against linoleum, the sound didn't draw any attention from the hallway.

"I'm in kind of a hurry," said the one who'd tossed them by their collar. "So I'll just introduce my friends real quick."

Epsilon propped themself up on their elbows, glaring blankly at the three figures in the doorway. The sudden assault had left them momentarily dazed.

"This is Blaze," the boy in the center said, raising his left hand. "Fun fact; her heels, knees and elbows are licensed weapons."

Contrary to her name and the brightness of violet and silver streaks in her hair, Blaze's countenance told Epsilon that she could turn a room frigid with a look.

The glare she'd pinned them with certainly gave Epsilon the chills.

"My pal Knuckles," the boy continued, gesturing to his right. "Can knock most people into next month with a love tap."

Epsilon sized up the other boy; dreadlocks framed a dark face, forearms built like clubs folded over one another across his chest.

His eyes weren't any less hostile than Blaze's.

The boy talking stepped leisurely toward Epsilon; they slid their feet back to stand.

"Just call me Sonic," he said. "Nobody special; just the coolest guy around."

Sonic slammed his foot into the desk Epsilon had grabbed for support to pull themself up; trapped between the wall and the boy, the frame shuddered.

"Now that we all know each other," Sonic said. "I want you to remember one last thing."

The truth was that Epsilon had already known about Sonic; they were admittedly less informed about his friends.

"Most of my friends are friends," Sonic said, his leg cutting off any escape Blaze and Knuckles hadn't already covered. "And they're my brother's friends, too."

But though he'd been away for a while, Sonic's name still carried a lot of weight.

"I'm gonna ask you nicely, just once."

Sonic's nonchalant facade vanished. He leaned down into Epsilon's face, voice pitched low.

"Where. is. Tails?"

On the streets, people called him The Hedgehog.

Time to obsessively talk in depth about my Sonic head-canons, because I literally cannot stop thinking about them. This is likely to be a long post, so I'll spare you all by putting everything under the cut so you aren't forcibly subjected to the wall of text💀

Sonic: arospec, bisexual, trans man, he/him. Stealth. Is only out to Tails. Actively fights for trans rights, just doesn't feel comfortable sharing his identity with most people. Hides his negative emotions because he feels as though he has to be a source of positivity 24/7. Probably cries himself to sleep sometimes, the poor guy. In a QPR (queer platonic relationship) with Shadow.

Tails: (I don't feel comfortable labeling the sexuality of a literal ten year old lmao/lh), transmasc, he/they. Looks up to Sonic, literally aims to be exactly like him: he's the only other trans person he knows (who's out to him, at least), and he's cool asf. Admires his bravery. Tails sees Sonic as an older brother figure, and Sonic sees him as a little brother. They've got the ultimate brotherly bond, which also means they argue over the dumbest shit lol.

Knuckles: panromantic, pansexual, transfemme, he/him. Masc presenting, gives off egg vibes (not because he's masc presenting and uses he/him, but because he's hella clueless about trans people). Isn't out to ANYONE, not even himself.💀

Amy: heteroromantic, heterosexual, cisgender, she/they. MASSIVE ally, one of those friends who gives their gay friends rainbow pride merch(/pos).

Shadow: panromantic, asexual, non-binary, all pronouns including it/its, slight preference for he/him. Doesn't give a fuck about gender; they think it's irrelevant to who they are. Though he has pronoun preferences, if someone referred to it using pronouns other than he/him, he would literally not care.

Rouge: greyromantic biromantic, lesbian, cisgender, she/her. Secret mom friend vibes. Has the scariest 'you fucked up' glare known to man(/hj). Takes no shit.

Omega: bro is unlabeled, literally just vibing. Pronouns? Nah bruh (use he/him). A GOD at baking, doesn't brag about it. Can't cook for shit otherwise, literally almost blew up the kitchen somehow (how he knows how to operate an oven but not any other cooking device is beyond me, he just gives off those vibes lmao).

Definitely cries himself to sleep, and has nightmares about the death of his squad. Secretly blames himself for everything, has extreme self esteem issues but hides them by inflating his self worth. His life SUCKS; he's lost everyone who was important to him, just when he thought he couldn't lose anyone/anything else. He's also very prideful despite having low self esteem, and those two things mixed together give him an extremely fragile ego that's easily shattered. He genuinely hates his face, because as far as he's concerned that is the face of someone who's failed everybody, including himself. A 'pathetic' face. Would literally start having a panic attack if his mask were to come off for whatever reason. (Jesus this one got depressing, but I just put a lot of thought into his character because I feel like he has a lot of potential as a character that wasn't explored. Literally just 'lol he had a temper tantrum because he got beaten up and called weak' and that's all the backstory he gets? Nahh💀. I could make a whole post going into the backstory I made for him lmao)

An hour later, and the gremlin hunt was on. Sonic sped through the forest, checking all the caves and likely hiding spots for any wayward alien lizard thing, while Tails performed air support as he scanned with his Miles Electric. He couldn’t get any real readings on the new boy, but he helped keep tabs on his older brother to help him search in a more organized pattern than Sonic’s usual ‘run willy nilly until you stumble across something’ method.

Silver hovered with Tails, and went to check things out that the fox found interesting. He would take the Miles Electric with him to scan the area, and return it to the kit once finished. Tails had wanted to get a full scan of the forest around Green Hills anyway, and this was the perfect excuse to help accomplish that.

Knuckles stayed with Callie and Maddie. The vet had come along with her medical kit to hopefully administer some long-overdue care for the boy’s arm once he was found. And Knuckles . . . well, when he discovered the new alien had bit Callie, he didn’t exactly take it well.

“He injured you?!?” the echidna had cried, his lip curled into a snarl and a soft growl in his throat. “When I find him, I shall deliver a swift punishment!”

“He was hurt and I think kind of delusional,” the redhead had told him, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. “I don’t believe it was done out of aggression.”

“No matter,” the boy snarled, his fists curled tightly. “He will regret harming you. I will see to it, personally.”

Callie sighed and took a step back, shooting a look to Maddie. Little help?

The vet stepped forward. “Honey, why don’t you stay with us while we search? As protection? If this little guy behaves aggressively, you can help contain him. Sound good?”

Knuckles cocked an eyebrow, giving his mother a contemplative look. Finally he dipped his head in a short nod, seemingly satisfied with that arrangement.

“I will protect you both,” he said, bringing a fist to his chest. “On my life, no harm will come to you.”

Maddie offered him a little smile, stroking his muzzle with her knuckle. “Pretty sure it won’t come to that, but I appreciate the thought, baby.”

Sonic Quilford AU Custom "Arcs"

As I slowly descend into madness from making all this from just wanting to rewrite Sonic Forces, I've added some extra bells and changed some of the whistles. And since I think these deserve more than just a simple mention, they're gonna get quick summaries here.

(In between Scrapnik arc and Frontiers) Dark Arm Ops: Two months after some freak meteor shower, Vanilla starts getting suspicious of the blue hedgehog's behavior and lack of any egg-esque scientists. Upon hearing her little girl and Ms. Rose seemingly get beat up, she turns to The Chaotix Detective Agency for help. What is going on with Team Sonic? Who's that strange hedgehog they run into in Soleanna, why did he only show up after Charmy found a Chaos Emerald, and why does he look like Shadow? And where is Robotnik in all this?

Inspired by SONIC.EXE, this story has Vanilla taking the main role, plenty of silly(and not-so-silly) detectives, time loops set up through an alternate take based off this headcanon by @autisticshadowthehedgehog (which are to be explained at a future date), and the return of Mephiles from Non Existence.

(After Sonic's 18th Birthday, but before TMoStH) Lune Kingdom: While still enjoying the downtime as Amy, Knuckles, and Tails have their solo expeditions, Sonic gets a message from Team Amber that he might want to come join them exploring a little island kingdom not far from Christmas Island. Upon getting there, it turns out the royal family could be in need of some assistance, as the Queen went slightly mad, Crown Princess Sonia feels drowned in work, the leader of the local street kids seemed to know something about them, and they want him to talk to some star nosed mole they call the Oracle? And here he thought Blaze had it hard being royalty...

I knew I'd integrate elements of Sonic Underground, and that includes Sonic's family members there. Aleena, Sonia, and Manic all have their part to play, along with the Oracle of Delphius(who gets a real species this time, even if it's with some water trauma for Mr. Needlemouse(Fun fact! Star nosed moles are semi-aquatic!)). Giving the role of Sonic's companions to Mighty, Ray, and Honey just felt right. The latter two have known him the longest, after all.

(Time Jump Fair After TMoStH) Angel Island Fight: Figuring the hedgehog and kitsunefox will be easier to kill off than Dr. Robotnik, Starline decides to try and overrule a choice made by the Chaos Emeralds themselves and supplant the 18yo speedster by getting Surge his role as their guardian. How will Sonic and Tails feel upon learning the platypus has found these two? Will Surge and Kitsunami stick with Starline, or throw him off the floating paradise? On a scale of 1 - 10, just how ticked is the 18yo echidna who lives on this soon-to-be battleground?

I feel like Starline didn't get to do much before his passing(which I'll get to). I mean, he vaguely worked with Robotnik during Metal Virus, tried to kidnap Tails that one time, did kidnap Belle, then broke Surge and Kit and then, BOOM, he's dead. So, he gets to do more! And, we get to see Sonic and Tails know their foes up close and personal, with someone getting angry from what's said as he walks back from Hidden Palace with Knuckles to go support his little brother.

(Time Jump Far After Angel Island Fight) Rush Reef: All of Team Sonic find themselves in hot water when they all end up sent to Blaze's dimension once more. After checking in with the Princess and tanukiraccoon pirate, it appears a trip down to Demon Island to find the Operator's Citrine is needed before Eggman and Egglock(Eggplant warlock, filling the role of Eggman Nega, who is fully Silver's nemesis). But can Sonic take the plunge this time? And considering Knuckles, who lives this far below?

I feel like there needs to be a full Team Blaze, along with a counterpart to Angel Island. Thus, Demon Island and its stressed, scared, oppressed last original inhabitant, Lotus the Sea Sheep(Sea sheeps are rare animals that photosynthesize like plants, as apposed to a mammal who lays eggs). Plus, a Sonic story that's mostly underwater is a rarity!

(Time Jump Fair after Rush Reef) Magic Show of Steel: Wanting a break, Sonic accepts an invite from Espio to join him in Casino Night for a week, because even with the violent reveal of the mayor as a badnik, business still booms. Especially for the city's favorite illusionist, Missy the White Rabbit. Yet, something in her performance rubs the hedgehog the wrong way. Can he, Amy, Shadow, Honey, and Espio figure out just what's happening before they all disappear? And just how close is a certain mercenary group?

Heavy Magician is my favorite Hard Boiled Heavy, and considering my plans for her in my Forces rewrite I'm still working on, I had to give her an arc all her own. Plus, we never get just the Speed characters interacting(and I want more interaction between Sonic and Team Chaotix in general). Plus, pretty lights and a possible Phantom Ruby fight between Magi and Infinite/Dante? Writing, become easier!

(Time Jump Far After Magic Show of Steel) Story Whirlwind: Upon noticing his primary fighter has chosen to fight him more than the blue blur and an impulsive stealing of two things Sonic really cares for, he starts getting paranoid. But, how much power can a book of fairy tales give? And how hard can it be to keep a cat that likes fishing and a government robot in captivity be? Let alone setting up Sonic's own friends to finish him off, and Kit's secret assignment...

Starline's death was too impassioned and having him get killed in a building caving-in was a cop-out. Fight me!

In reality, I really think just having Starline get crushed takes some of the joy out of seeing him stopped. It was just thrown into the Surge arc so they didn't have to bother with what we was doing anymore. Thus, a total change in scenario. And, an actual culprit. But, I think you'd need to ask the Emeralds. Make sure they aren't letting someone channel their darker sides though, or you'll meet Starline's shameless killer face-to-face. ;)

Those ideas are really cute and cool I could totally imagine Sonics' Pikachu evolving in to Galarian Raichu or Nigel having Alolan meowth cause it's fancy and Chuck getting a meowth to match except it's the scrungly Galarian variant if you'd had time to give them more than two, I can actually also see Nigel with a Fidough since it fits with him naming the chao Angelcake.

As for pokemon other main characters in your AU I could imagine also having along with the pokemon you gave them.

Sonic: maybe a Boltund like him a having Muttski in the comics (and just because I couldn't think of anything else except for maybe Latias or Latios)

Tails : maybe a Rotom like Shard because they're adoptive brothers in this and he could use it to hack Eggman tech or a Porygon or one of its evolutions because they're also kind of techy possibly also Vikavolt that he found as a Charabug ( I really wanted to give him another electric type like Sonic but didn't want to give him a Pikaclone)

Amy: a Swirlix or a Alcremie because she bakes.

Knuckles: a Riolu/ Lucario because of it's aura abilities and Knuckles' connection to the master emerald.

Shard: a Silvally because it was created to be a weapon but was saved/ escaped and got a family and friends Genesect for similar reasons.

Elias: maybe a Honedge he got from Nigel.

Silver: with him loving plats maybe a Budew or a Petilil maybe their evolutions.

Chuck: like I said Galarian Meowth to match Nigel and because they look a bit scruffy in a cute way.

Nigel: as stated above Alolan Meowth because it's fancy and Fidough because he had a Chao called Angelcake and I see Fidough as a lapdog also a Sinistea evolved into a Polteageist (since he's british and needs a british pokemon and of course it would be the antique variant with him being royalty)

Blaze: Fenekin/ Braixen and Ponyta/ Rapids because cute and elegant fire types.

Sonia: low-key Toxricty (I think she's a bit calmer than Manic) also Sprigarito (I wanted to use more starters and I think it would suit her)

Manic: amped Toxtricty and Grookey (they're both drummers)

Aleena: something associated with magic/ psychic maybe a Delphox or a Gardevoir.

I’ve been playing Pokémon scarlet a lot lately so here’s what Pokémon my sonic au characters would have. Why? Idk just indulge with me for a sec. Im only really doing the main characters in this au so no shadow, rouge, cream etc. yet. Also I’m only doing two Pokémon each they would have, saying what team they would have will take me all night so LETS GO.

Sonic: shaymin and pikachu (of course sonic would find a mythical Pokémon by chance and pikachu is because of the smash bros ultimate trailer when he tries and save pikachu!)

Tails: vulpix and yanmega (vulpix is obvious but yanmega is a cool helicopter bug!)

Amy: tinkaton and shiny ribombee (tinkaton is Amy as a Pokémon lmao and she’d be the one in the group to find a shiny Pokémon that’s cute to)

Knuckles: falinks and sandslash (the falinks are actually based on knuckles story in frontiers with the lil soldiers! And sandslash cause they dig)

Shard: todegemaru and rotom (a steel type pikaclone to counterpart sonics pikachu and a rotom to mess with machines and chucks metagross)

Silver: espurr and hisuian braviary (silver deserves a cute Pokémon and a cool ancient Pokémon)

Elias: gallade and sirfetch’d (SWORD TIME BABY)

Blaze: espeon and ceruledge (…espeon just looks like blaze lol and ceruledge is a cool fire knight!)

Aleena: audino and bewear (audino is a musical healer like aleena and bewear is mama bear)

i need to warm up my writing muscles (pronounced "musk-ulls") so im gonna finally answer this ask - there are a few more i wanna answer as well in my inbox so keep an eye out! also hi couch thank you for the cool leaf i am putting it on the fridge rn :)

the metal series still exists in this universe! metal sonic, shadow, and silver are the main ones, with metal amy playing the role of canon metal sonic. tails doll and mecha knuckles also exist but i don't have any ideas for them yet :pensive:

they were built around the same time that amy met the boys (when sonic and shadow were 8 and silver was 7) to substitute for them if they were sleeping, busy, or otherwise not available for battle. the metals play their roles as tools for intimidation, destruction, and execution of complex or sensitive plans, but are still no match for the real deal.

metal sonic can simulate sonic's speed, metal shadow can simulate his strength (and has plenty of explosives on deck for a chaos blast substitute), and metal silver is. trying his best. eggman hasn't yet figured out how to artificially recreate silver's psychokinesis without a chaos emerald as a power source

they're backups, not replacements, and are Very Special Robots, but they're still underneath the egghogs in the eggman empire's hierarchy.

they can also be used as supports / extra firepower while the egghogs are present, and are helpful for overwhelming powerful opponents or large cities. because of their high priority and fancy tech, they aren't sent out for any old busywork, just because it causes a whole fiasco when they're in for repair

a secondary (in the boys' minds, primary) function is to provide companionship for eggman's sons. the metals have preprogrammed unique personalities (though the neo metal amy incident has led to metal amy's personality being almost completely removed) that are aligned with the boys' own, which is especially helpful when only one of them is busy and the others miss his company.

they are programmed primarily to be killing machines, but do have some basic social skills. they will tolerate being dressed up and will participate in games if prompted. they also make exciting sparring partners, although eggman discourages this; repairing them is a pain in the tuckus

they still aren't a replacement for the real thing. which drives sonic crazy after his brothers leave. he talks to them like his brothers, but they are incapable of speaking back. he tries to play with them, spar them, take them places, but it's just not the same. they're ghosts of what he once had. he hangs out with them anyway.

Sonic may actually be lost royalty

I keep going down these rabbit holes I shouldn’t go down BUT! Although this theory is one that I don’t fully believe in (unlike the infinite/solaris theory and the chaos emerald theory) I still have a good argument that I want to talk about very bad.

I also tried to make this as short as possible but there’s a lot of ground to cover, but at least it’s not the infinite/solaris theory. But I have a TLDR at the end.

[Spoiler Warning for Sonic and the Black Knight]

let’s start with a ✨numbered list✨

1. Blaze the Cat

Blaze is the biggest caveat for this theory, but I think it’s best to start with her.

Now, firstly I need to clear up some things.

[Eggmen: are in a manner, inextricably linked!]

[Blaze: Like two Eggmans?]

Part of the Blaze’s world is that it’s a parallel universe. Parallel Eggmen, Parallel emeralds, Everything else that isn’t stated outright. Like how Tails and Marine are definitely counterparts. Seeming as Tails came from South Island and Marine came from southern island, Tails is definitely based on a kitsune and Marine, in theory, based on a tanuki. 

And, although not stated completely, Blaze and Sonic are universal counterparts.

Much like the Sol and Chaos emeralds, Sonic and Blaze are a mirror version of one another, although slightly different.

Alright, now that we have that out of the way:

Looking at the connections between the others, Sonic and Blaze seem, a bit too different.

The Sol and Chaos emeralds fulfill the same role, although their different appearance, and have a similar story.  Tails and Marine fulfill the same role, although their different appearance, and have a similar story. The Eggmen fulfill the same role, although their different appearance, and have a similar story. 

Blaze and Sonic fulfill the same role, although their different appearance, and have a... completely different story. 

Blaze was born to a royal family, and set to protect the Sol Emeralds and the Jeweled Scepter as her birthright, and it’s somewhat hinted that her powers may also be a birthright. Sonic, on the other hand, has no known past, and seems to have just run into the Chaos Emeralds by accident. 

You could claim that Blaze does take on the role of both Sonic AND Knuckles, which is fair and stated on the wiki, however Knuckles is also never stated to be any kind of royalty, and certainly doesn’t have that kind of past, his past being one of the more tragically alone ones. 

And here’s something interesting.

Time has warped our vision of Blaze. We all know her as “Princess Blaze the Cat.” But from watching Sonic Rush, her opening game... she is never mentioned to be a princess until the very end.

[Burning Blaze: As princess, it is my duty to protect the Sol Emeralds...]

From what I remember, this is the FIRST mention of her royal status. 

From this game’s viewpoint, they reveal the mirror status of the dimensions. They then show both Blaze and Sonic having mirror super transformations using their emeralds, highly implying that Sonic and Blaze were mirror versions. (also this was implied already by just Blaze’s shoes.) and then it’s revealed that Blaze is royal, and a princess. 

So if she’s the mirror of Sonic, what does that mean for Sonic? Especially right after showing the two of them being, well, mirrors.

2. King Arthur

SATBK is much less transparent about the counterpart universe thing.

Now this is an alternate universe, set up by Secret Rings, and surprisingly not just a story Sonic told as an elaborate excuse.

They don’t hide obivous Sonic characters being put into roles, and their in these roles for a reason.

Blaze and Silver as Percival and Galahad, the knights who quested together for the holy grail. Knuckles as Gawain literally only because of “Gawain and the Green Knight” But I respect that so much. Jet as Lamorak because of Lamorak’s fiery temper and competitiveness.  Shadow as Lancelot because he’s the “closest knight to the king” stated in game (👀) Tails as a Blacksmith because that’s p much the medieval version of a mechanic. Amy as the Lady of the Lake because like. Fuck she’s the most powerful one there. (but seriously, in forces she’s shown to be the most level headed leader and strangest, especially in Sonic’s absence. As well as “sensing” that he was still alive and having a past in tarot.) But Sonic as King Arthur makes sense when it’s revealed. Although he wasn’t anyone’s counterpart in Secret Rings (because secrets rings was confused as hell) He is in this game, and as the ring leader of everyone following him in SATBK, it makes sense. 

Although something that was never brought up...EVER is the Knight’s backstories, which are EXTREMELY important not only in Arthurian legends, but for the knights in Sonic lore. All of the knight’s mentioned backstories are important to their character, in both contexts. Although their never brought up.

*DEEP BREATH* Alright. The similarities between Sonic Character/Knight backstories.

Shadow and Lancelot have pretty simmilar backstories when getting down to it. Shadow/Lancelot were both raised for greatness, but still outshined by Sonic/Arthur. Although remaining loyal to them, even if for Shadow it’s only in times of need. Shadow doesn’t want to admit he’s a supporting role to Sonic, although Sonic generations kinda throws that Idea out of the water when Shadow cheers Sonic on while watching from the sidelines, much like early Lancelot.

For Blaze and Percival, in multiple interpretations Percival is of noble birth. Upon meeting Sonic’s Gang/The Knights, Blaze/Percival get’s inspired by their heroics and eventually joins them.

“Lancelot and Percival prove morally superior to Gawain who follows the rules of courtliness to the letter rather than the spirit.“ Is an actual quote from Wikipedia. Although it is VERY hard to find a concrete backstory for Gawain other than “separated from his home”, I think this proves enough. As well as the Gawain and the Green Knight story (in which Gawain tries to slay the green knight and then he picks up his head and says “see you in a year” is pretty representative of Knuckles constantly breaking the master emerald in a comedic light.) 

Lamorak/Jet are known for challenging Arthur/Sonic to competitions. 

Galahad/Silver are searching for an object/person aided by Percival/Blaze

So now that we’re all good, do you see the similarities between part one.

Although everyone else has given backstory similarities, Sonic is given none, seeming as, as far as we know, Sonic HAS no backstory.

But isn’t it interesting that King Arthur’s backstory is being lost royalty? And the secret son of the king? Wack.

3. Sonic Fucking Underground

Now, most of you are probably unfamiliar with Sonic Underground. Good.

If you’re not, you watched it as a kid and you’re nostalgic, and let me tell you I watched the entire show recently and it’s not as good as you remember.

But Sonic Underground’s quality and history could be a post on it’s own, it doesn’t matter here. What matters is the plot:

Now, Sonic Underground is VERY SEPARATED from Sonic Lore, and nothing has ever taken from it besides Manic appearing in some comics, although from what I know he’s never mentioned to be Sonic’s brother. So This is the part I always take with a grain of salt, however;

Sonic Headcanon

Hot Take - Sonic and friends are ALL huggers.

They love to tease, nag, mess with, and challenge each other, but if any one of them ever sees that another friend is crying or near tears, or any kind of sad, it’s all big hugs, hold your hand till it’s over, “no, it’s ok, just let it out,” “don’t worry I’ll stay with you,” aggressively supportive—big on love, friendship.

Sonic is the best at finding the bright side. Gives solid hugs, can make anyone smile. Will never give up on them, and bonus - they know whatever the problem he’ll stick with them, and see it through to the end.

Tails is the sweetest. Fluffy warm hugs, and reminds them how actually amazing they are. Can offer at least 5 solutions to any problem, or alternatively suggests, “let’s play your favorite game.”

Knuckles gives wrap them up, must protect, shield them from everything until this passes hugs. Then will share some beautiful place, where they’ll sit together watching the sun set, and the stars rise and talk about it late into the night.

Amy gives no hesitation, hold them tight, “it’s going to be alright sweetie,” hugs. Dries their tears, believes in them with all her heart, and offers some homemade dessert for smiles.

Mighty is everyone’s big brother, knows just what to say, exudes calm, best advice, will stay with them through anything—plus a warm hugs that feels like home.

Ray is all sweetness and make them laugh, and knows how to get their mind off it, hugs. Also knows a good place to make some trouble when they just wanna break things.

Vector is a scoop them up, squeeze tight and give a gentle noogie hugger. Then he’ll balk at whatever notion got them down, and explain how they are every bit amazing enough to overcome it.

Ok, Rouge actually doesn't like casual hugs. Instead she’ll trick them into talking it out, offer strikingly insightful advice, and help them feel a million times better about it—and will then begrudgingly accept a hug.

Shadow is a last resort hugger. If he’s the only one available, will give a hesitant though incredible hug, but the whole time he’ll be thinking about (or alternatively if someone else was available to hug) he’ll be plotting ultimate destruction of the thing that made them cry.

Omega gives gentle head pats to smol things that cry. Will also destroy aggressors.

let me explain why im making these, im in a funk and cant do shit, because segas remade my childhood and i just cant, so that explains on with said headcanons!

if anyone gets any of the hedgehog to be comfortable with them theyll start acting like cats

knuckles has self esteem problems hes been working on with rouge

cream isnt that innocent

amys hammer cracked once and she stayed in her home for an entire week

only leaving when tails came to her house hammer fully repaired

all of our underwater friends from the archie comics have started to visit their above land friends on a weekly basis

even though sonics usually busy saving the world he always makes time to play video games with his little brother

when shadow, silver, knuckles, sally, eggman, antoine, etc first met surge sonic had a lot of explaining to do

tails already knew, he was their when sonic was going through the gender dysmorphia

amy wasnt their to learn and sonic doesnt want amy to know if anything

rouge is like robin hood unbelievably, giving her stolen gems to the poor

she was in their place once and wanted to help

blaze and bean have become good friends despite everything

every month they go around blowing up stuff

if anyone catches sonic in a mood, he'll instantly slap on a fake smile so they dont worry

occasionally he'll go for a run to knothole villages burnt remains to reminisce old times

on more than one occasion amy has shown signs of homophobism which is why sonic edges away from her

she doesnt understand that though

majority of sonics friends where great supporters

especially tails who turned out to be a demiboy

of course shadow was reluctant to the thought of his rival being trans at first

the chaotix are always a place amy goes to when she needs to sulk about sonic not loving her

of course it was getting old for the chaotix but they dealt with it for sonics wishes
