you know what, actually? fuck everything forever. fuck corporate greed and fuck capitalism and fuck homophobia and fuck racism. no one can get invested in shows that don't already have established IP because they get cancelled. every new piece of media is at risk because streamers and networks don't have 20+ years of data to back up the investment. they may try for a year or two, but their solution will always be to cancel shows in their prime in favor of producing the same shit they churn out year after year because it's 'safer'. when you have a rabid, built-in fanbase and media attention and the streaming numbers and still no one will pick it up? yea. fuck everything.

lcla! shiguang really do grow in such a beautiful way—seeing lu guang emphasize over and over how in spite of how important this mission regarding his teacher is, cheng xiaoshi and his safety come first.

he says flat out cxs doesn't have to do the mission (i mean, god, he even burned the original photo just to show how sincerely he regretted hiding and lying to cxs), showing how regardless of how badly he wants to cling to the past, for the sake of cheng xiaoshi and their friendship, he is willing to let it go.

then there's cxs's unwavering devotion and dedication to lu guang—he takes the mission extremely seriously and trains all for lu guang's sake and loses sleep over it because he has to get this right, he has to be able to give lu guang the closure he needs.

then there's the scene following xitha's death, where cheng xiaoshi says, "you must be sad, I'll come back and accompany you."

lu guang is preoccupied with the mysterious killer, obviously looking for justice for his teacher. but in that small moment cxs just wants to be with lu guang, and be able to comfort him.

it truly was a gradual process to get there but they care about each other so much <3

Do you guys think Terapagos will stay with Liko & remain on the show even after the Rakua story concludes?

It seems like we're getting closer & closer to the end of the Rakua story at last given the recent episode & upcoming in a few weeks, and I really want our sweet Pagogo to keep adventuring with us, but I heavily feel once they reach Rakua & Gibeon is defeated & Terapagos' powers are restored, there's going to be a big "Terapagos must stay in Rakua to protect it" scene and this freaking cartoon will have me crying like when May said goodbye to Manaphy lol.

I think he's a really cute addition to the show (I always refer to anime Terapagos as male because I feel that's why SV Terapagos was gender-locked) but it feels a little too good to be true for a legendary to be a long running character in the show, like Zygarde in XYZ or Nebby in SM.

Side note: the moment Liko terastallizes him will be peak

Summary: She tried to shake away any sad thought, this was supposed to be a merry reunion, after all. A-Xian had always been someone very especial to her. A solace of gentleness and kindness within a house so filled of grudges and hatred. She knew it was the same to him. Blood didn’t tie them, but they were undoubtedly family. Jiang Yanli pays a visit to her A-Xian to catch up with him. Kay's comments: Short and absolutely heart-breaking. A story in which post-canon, Jiang Yanli is given the chance to say goodbye to her A-Xian. It made me really sad, but it was also cathartic. These two should have been given the chance to have a final conversation. Definitely bittersweet though. I'm not really sure why this story is tagged as Yu Ziyuan bashing, because she's mentioned in like one line. Excerpt: “Is that lotus root and pork ribs soup?”, he asked with a hopeful expression. This stopped every unwelcomed thought of hers. His expression reminded her of the one he bore as a child. When he looked at her with shining eyes which believed she could easily hang the moon and the stars. He still looked at her like that. A-Xian had grown up and changed so much. Even so, he was still her dear little brother. A-Xian would never stop being her beloved little brother. “It is. Now that we don’t see each other that frequently I thought you would miss it.” Something flickered in A-Xian’s eyes. He seemed to be troubled about something. Jiang Yanli could see the hesitation and the struggle he was having. In the end, he smiled and said, “Of course I do, shijie, I miss it so much I even tried to replicate it. But it’s very difficult without the recipe.” Jiang Yanli didn’t fail to catch the rueful tone with which he pronounced those words. She thought about commenting on them. Instead, she accepted the offer to enter his room and sat with him on his bed. She looked around, everything was as she remembered. She looked fondly at the image of a couple carved in the headboard.

Chapter 3: Polyphemus

Once their boats had made landfall Odysseus chose Polites and Eurylochus and a collection of 10 other men. Athena insisted that she should come as well, but Odysseus was adamant that she stay on the boat. “ If there are too many of us, whoever could reside on this island would think we’re a threat. We only wish to ask for food if there’s anyone here, we don’t intend to raid them.”

“Odysseus please, I don’t trust this. Something bad is going to happen and if I’m not there-“

“Pallas, relax look. No settlements, no presence of anyone, we'll be fine.”

“That doesn’t quell this feeling in my chest-“

“Maybe you’re just hungry like the rest of us.”

“I . . . suppose.”

“ Ok, don’t cause damage to the ship while we’re gone.”

“Alright,” Athena says, her voice weighted by sarcasm. She watched the band go further into the island until they reached the mouth of the cave, where they vanished inside.

Back near the foot of the island Athena had already bolted more than halfway towards the cave having seen the giant mass that was Polyphemus returning to his home. The screams and impacts of an unknown weapon made her pace quicken. She reached the mouth of the cave in time to see the fate of Polites. His hollow eyes lay open as his jaw falls slack to the side. A large gash dents into his skulls and blood flows out like a river.

Athena ducks to the side of the entrance grabbing her chest as her heart begins vigorously pumping and it gets pulled down by a mountain. She struggles for breath as an overwhelming hollowness grips her. She can’t help but let water breach the dams built around her eyes. Dams that were built by a god now torn down by a mortal who’s as confused as a child. She had never felt this before. She now truly understands her mortality and the fear it breeds.she lays in shock as a torrent of smoke breaches the cave door. But, as she sits there calming her shaking body, rage builds. She sees that Odysseus caused the death of Polites through his brash stupidity. She sees that he hasn’t learned anything. She feels offended by his actions, believing that he thought she lost her wisdom after falling. She saw Ares which enraged her the most.

Athena walks ahead of the group attempting to distance herself from Odysseus. Odysseus looks at her with a scowl which she returns. She turns her head around and glares at him through shadows cloaking her face.

Hope whoever’s reading this is excited for chapter 4 the ocean saga. We get to see Zeus a really bad father
