Together, they hit the Southern California folk circuit in late 1965, playing mostly folk and blues standards. One night, when they hit the Golden Bear, in Huntington Beach, Peter Tork was working in the club’s kitchen.‘I was between gigs,’ says Tork, ‘washing dishes and jerkin’ beer at the Golden Bear, when all of a sudden I hear this voice coming from out in the club. I look and it’s Stephen, who I hadn’t seen since leaving New York.’Over beers, Stills and Tork renewed their friendship and Buffalo Fish became a trio, with Tork adding some vocal support and comedic touches. But after a few more times around the circuit, Buffalo Fish spread apart.” - ibid “So we [Stephen Stills and Ron Long] were booked into the [Golden] Bear [in 1965] and we were really terrible for the whole gig except for two nights. literally everything having to do with ron delite is hilarious. doesn't know what he's talking about ever. became a criminal to fuel his wifes shopping addiction. so pathetic that he gets declared innocent for a crime he's guilty of. when asked a question by his own lawyer he asks phoenix what HE thinks. admits to a murder he didnt actually commit several times on accident. found a dead body and instead of calling the cops his immediate, innate reaction was to hide said body. when asked why he hid that body in the safe his response is that it wouldnt fit in a drawer. confesses to being a criminal but the court cant do shit about it because of double jepordy. uses his freedom to run a rehab center for thieves, only to sell heist plans to said thieves. also uses his freedom to team up with his wife to continue stealing. flirts with another man in front of his wife and also an entire courtroom

so you know how WS mentions not being able to taste stuff or something along those lines? Like that is miserable but what does that mean for Cale? Aside from starving for so much of his life he literally can't even properly enjoy the taste of food to the fullest. Sure maybe the curse is like watered down a little on his end compared to WS but like it's still there. So I HC that as KRS he liked really flavorful food, esp. spicy food since they're the only ones that actually kinda stand out to him in terms of taste you know. So now you have this guy who eats everything with a giant bucket of gochujang piled on top and chili flakes like it's normal while even his fellow countrymen question him.

Idk I just thought of how happy he was about eating good food when he woke up as Cale and really praising Beacrox and like. what if aside from how its fancy food compared to what he usually eats it's literally the first time he's ever PROPERLY tasted food. Thinking about how satisfied he was with his food that his family noticed and how he's finally enjoying food and akjbkdkadbakdjkw
