something that makes this REALLY funny after playing aai2 is that he says this and less than 24 hours later he emotionally adopts eustace after finding him tied up in his dad's garage and does act fatherly to some degree towards both kay and eustace. he's been acting fatherly toward kay the entire case up to this point and has been since he met her in the kidnapped turnabout basically. i think miles is equating being a good person to being a nice person, which aren't inherently the same thing
