i will literally never be over how peter mills is the one who went to hold matt after he got the news that hallie died. not even gabby could do it, but peter did it without hesitation. even though he felt some type of way towards casey, he went to comfort him when someone he loved and almost married died. everyone else was so shocked and didn’t know what to do, but peter? peter mills’s gut instinct was to put his personal feelings aside and comfort someone who he thought was making his life at work hell on purpose because he was with gabby. peter mills who instantly took in a puppy because it would’ve been drowned otherwise. peter mills who always tried to get people to smile. peter mills who lovingly cooked for everyone. i will never ever ever not love peter mills so much. he was such a great addition to the show. he was empathetic, kind, hard-working, ambitious, caring, determined. i love chicago fire so fucking bad, this show has genuinely made me sob so many times, so many ways, for so many different reasons.

I’ll go first. You all are sleeping on Hartley Rathaway aka Pied Piper. He’s one of dc’s first openly gay characters and he’s a redeemed villain turned leftist king as well as the best friend of Wally West and Linda Park. You can find out more about him in the Messner-Loebs and Mark Waid flash run.

Also Damon Matthews and Todd Rice (aka obsidian) are such an underrated couple from the Kate Spencer Manhunter run and Todd Rice is an angsty mentally ill gay man with show powers and both mummy and daddy issues. He should be doing numbers on tumblr.

Absolutely loosing my crap at the idea of Alan Scott entering a gay club, locking eyes with his half naked, glitter- clad oldest (Michael), turning around, and immediately doubling both of their trauma by noticing his other son (Todd) strolling in with his fiancé shirtless in a collar. Damon has to negotiate a three- way division of all bars and clubs in the area before anyone can look each other in the eye again

Todd offered Damon a hand getting off the wagon. “I forgot to ask, are we getting one pumpkin or two?”

Damon got his feet back under him as he looked around the pumpkin patch. Not just getting one from the store, having a day out of a wagon ride and a trip to a farm, had been his idea in the first place. “I think two.”

“Okay. Let me know when you find good ones.”

Damon grinned. “You're picking your own! Just find one that looks good to carve.”

Todd smiled and started looking through the patch. Finally selecting one about medium size. Not too hard to carve open.

He looked around to see Damon's progress and had to laugh. His boyfriend was struggling under the weight of the giant he had picked.

He tucked his pumpkin under one arm and walked over to Damon. “I think that one is a bit too big.”

Damon set it down with a groan and rubbed his back. “You're probably right.”

He sighed and looked at Todd's pick. “Yours seems good though.”

“It is an excellent pumpkin,” Todd joked. “But you still need to pick one soon.”

“True. Maybe with your excellent pumpkin finding skills you can help me?” Damon grinned.

“You made me find me own. But, sure, I will help you look.”

It was early enough in the month that there were plenty of pumpkins to choose from. It didn't take long until Damon made a pleased noise. “What do you think of this one?”

He presented it to Todd. It was smaller than the other one, smaller than Todd's too, but Todd couldn't see any issues with it if it made Damon happy.

“Looks good to me.” Todd glanced back at the wagon where the other visitors were beginning to get back onboard. “Ready to go?”

“I am.” Damon grinned. “What are you naming yours? I am thinking of calling mine Henry.”

Todd had to laugh. “You’re naming yours?”

“Yes. And you should name yours too.” Damon poked Todd with his pumpkin. “Don't let yours be a poor nameless thing.”

Todd grinned. “How about 'Rye'?”

“Why 'Rye'?” Damon tilted his head.

“I don't know how to spell 'pumpernickel'.”

Damon's loud laughter was soon joined by Todd's as they climbed back on the wagon.

The one thing I miss about having cable tv are the seasonal cooking/decorating shows. Watching a Halloween one and some of the criticisms(insults) are ruthless "This looks amature" "This looks primitive", I cannot explain to you how much I eat this stuff up. I love it. I am here for the drama, the buttercream frosting, the extreme use of rice crispy treat and fondant as if it's the only material they are allowed to use. It's equally a train wreck and an art, and it is delightful.

A new year, so I thought I’d post my updated actors I’d like fuck list.

#10. M. Emmet Walsh

A beloved character actor with a long, respectable career with over 200 films and television series. Sure he’s getting a little long in the tooth, but I’d still smash.

WHAT? This guy gave me a lot of j/o material over the years.

#9. Tim Hooper

The only guy on this list I KNOW I have a shot with as he’s gay.

#8. Dakin Matthews

An American actor, playwright, theatre director, and theatrical scholar who has such a cute face making him annoyingly adorable. Dakin has that perfect ‘Grandpa next door… that like to fuck’ look.

#7. Mark Addy

Mark Addy… DAMN. I need a few hours alone with him.

#6. Brett Rice

He’s tall, husky, handsome with a gravelly voice and he quite possibly have an ass that I can work with. Damn right he’s on my to do list. How could I not want to fuck him.
