I have been a huge fan of Cassandra Clare's Shadowhunter series since I read the first book. In anticipation of the release of The Wicked Powers, I have started to read them from the beginning which has lead to so many more questions and thoughts.

Please beware that there will be spoilers under the cut.

I am so interested in finding out more about the descendants from the main couples from The Last Hours. Especially as we go from that to the Mortal Instruments, then the Dark Artifices, The Eldest Curses, and then finally the Wicked Powers. We know so much but still feels like so much is missing.

I want to know more about Cordelia and James life, and their children. Find out more about Matthew, of Thomas and Alastair, and Anna and Ari.

I was also genuinely so gutted that I couldn't contribute to the kickstarter, so am really hoping that some of the content ends up online as hate to think that I would be missing out on some.

The Shadowhunter series has been such a huge part of my life, so sad it is coming to an end, but looking forward to hopefully one more book in the Eldest Curses series and the entirety of the Wicked Power series.

tda: reenactment of dress by taylor swift but it is a 17yo father of four and a girl w a sword

Thinking about how Will and Tessa loved Jem so much they named their son “James” after him.

And also thinking about how, 130 years later, Jem and Tessa named their daughter “Wilhemina” after Will. And then they adopted a snarky lil Herondale boy to raise too.

There is literally no Ship Type I like more than the Healing Ship. When both characters have experienced trauma and/or grief. And they're a little jagged around the edges, but they don't love each other despite that. They love each other's jagged edges, because they love every part of each other. And that doesn't fix the trauma, but it means having unconditional support and comfort
