FICMAS MASTERLIST
holidays at the x-mansion meant a few things.
helping put up the largest christmas tree youâve ever seen, and decorating it from head to toe. each student and professor responsible for placing their favorite ornament on a branch.
spending your weekends cozying up by the fireplace with hot cocoa and your colleagues. basking in the warmth that had nothing to do with the glowing embers, but the company seated around you.
and last, but most importantly, less kids. since a fair amount of them returned home to spend time with their families, that meant fewer heads to keep track off, and less stress on your plate.
but of course, things could never be that easy.
the ones who remained, usually the older students, always tried their luck to see just how much they could get away with, under the guise of âbeing in the christmas spirit.â
last year it was the snowball fight that somehow made its way into the foyer. the year before that there was a wrapping paper prank that covered all four walls of the professorâs office with obnoxiously printed gift wrap.
both of which were unnecessary messes that irked logan big time. and yet, this yearâs ordeal got under his skin in a way that was unparalleled to those prior.
and itâs all your fault, really. well, sort of.
somehow an innocent comment made in passing about always wanting to be kissed under mistletoe turned into a personal mission for marie. she was determined to help make your dream come true, and while the kindness of it all is incredibly sweet and heartwarming, sheâs starting to get a little carried away.
logan liked the young girl. he really, truly did.
but if her and bobby didnât stop this little charade, he was going to lose his mind.
all damn day the pair of teens were following him around every corner. whispering and giggling under their breath, forgetting that he could hear them from a distance away. he knows exactly what theyâre up to, judging by the faux leaf decoration marie is doing a very poor job of hiding behind her back.
theyâre trying to play matchmaker.
itâs something that would be the slightest bit endearing if he wasnât already involved.
thatâs what made the situation ironic. funny even. watching them scramble around to place the mistletoe whenever you and logan were in the same room. thinking they were single handedly going to be responsible for a love match that was already underway and had been for months.
you werenât purposely keeping your relationship a secret. you just didnât feel like it needed to be divulged to the team just yet. anyone with eyes however, could clearly see there was something going on between you and the wolverine.
hence the two young mutants trying their hand at playing cupid.
âyou canât keep barking at them all day,â you scold logan, who was shooting the iceman a warning glare over his shoulder. the blonde looks like a deer caught in headlights as he darts down the hall. âtheyâre just being kids.â
âgettinâ on my goddamn nerves is what theyâre doing,â your boyfriend grumbles. his hard expression melts a bit when you affectionately card your fingers through the hair at the nape of his neck.
âi think itâs sweet.â
logan scoffs with a roll of his eyes, but it's clear heâs mostly messing around. heâs got a soft spot for the kids whether he wants to admit it or not, and he most definitely has a soft spot for you, which heâll scream loud and proud. his eyelids flutter shut at the soothing scrape of your nails against his scalp.
âiâm waiting for you to starting purring one of these days,â you tease him in a low whisper. logan opens one eye, unimpressed. still, thereâs a faint tug on the corner of his lips.
âwhatever,â he retorts weakly, relishing in the peaceful moment. knowing you donât get many of those around here, his hand stays snug against the small of your back, hoping he can keep you anchored for just a little while longer.
as much as you want to stay like this all day, both of you have things that need to be taken care of. logan deflates slightly when you pull away, hands ghosting around your torso before limply falling at his sides.
âduty calls,â you groan, as you look down at your watch to check the time. your next class started in five minutes, and youâd be setting a bad example as the teacher if you were late. âiâll find you after?â
logan nods, debating on whether or not he should do what heâs thinking. youâve shown affection around the mansion before, but with bobby and marie sneaking around, he didnât want to give them a front row seat, especially considering no one really knew you were together yet. the last thing he needs is those two running amuck telling everyone his business.
although logan would be a liar if he said he could go without your kisses. because he couldnât. not by a long shot, regardless of the circumstance.
just as heâs about to lean in, a loud noise sounds from the hallway. you exchange glances for a split second, protective instincts kicking in before you rush out of the room in a panic.
in a flash, youâre standing in the mansionâs entryway, logan with his claws out and you with your fists up ready to face danger. except there wasnât anything alarming to be found. not a knocked over vase. not so much as a fly in the wall.
âwhat the hell was that?â you breathe, surveying the hall for any sign of what couldâve caused a ruckus.
âprobably those damn kids again,â logan huffs exasperated, giving the room another once over before his claws retract.
you canât stop the bark of laughter that makes its way out of you. logan looks back at you confused, but with a hint of a smile on his face.
âiâm sorry,â you snort, covering your mouth at the sound. âitâs just, you sound like such an old man right now.â
unamused, logan offers a blank stare, though you know thereâs no real irritation behind it.
âiâm not sure whoâs worse,â your boyfriend groans as he makes his way back toward the living room. âyou, or the kids.â
âyou know you love me,â you joke, following close behind. logan hums sarcastically, but deep down he knows itâs the complete and utter truth. he doesnât have to say it out loud for you to know, and somehow his coyness about the subject manages to make you even more smitten.
your heart flutters from that notion, in addition to catching a glimpse of the mistletoe thatâs now mysteriously pinned above the corridor.
it definitely wasnât there two seconds ago.
a quick flick of your head back and forth to double check and make sure there wasnât any prying eyes. bobby and marie werenât very good at hiding, so when youâre not met with a chorus of stifled giggles, you know youâre in the clear.
a smug grin accompanies the airy call of loganâs name.
the man gives a sideways peek over his shoulder before spinning around completely, eyeing you with tender curiosity.
you stand in the doorway, teetering back and forth on your heels, and nod your head up in the direction of the ever dreaded mistletoe. an innocent flush on your cheeks that signals to him just how giddy you are over something so small.
and as much as logan canât stand the cliche-ness of it all, he has no choice but to oblige.
because who would he be, if he didnât do everything in his power to keep you this happy?
with faux annoyance, he stomps over to you, dragging his feet across the floor for dramatic effect. it only adds to your amusement, the sound of your laughter the most delightful noise he wishes he could bottle up and keep forever. when his large hands find their familiar place wrapped around you, any facade of indifference crumbles.
âmâgonna get those little shits if theyâre lurking,â logan mutters playfully, your lips mere inches apart with how closely he leans in.
âjust shut up and kiss me already howlett,â you whisper in protest, and that little hint of bossiness is all logan needs to surge forward and close the gap.
it felt exactly like something out of those cheesy christmas romance movies, but in the best way possible. the scent of vanilla and pine occupies your senses as loganâs lips move in tandem against yours. delicate and slowly, an always dizzying contrast to the brooding and rugged exterior of the wolverine. you melt like putty into his touch, arms encircling the back of his neck naturally.
thereâs something sweet and syrupy that logan feels between his ribs when you shuffle around onto the tips of your toes to deepen the kiss even more. to find a way to get even closer, an impossible feat that physics wonât ever allow but you try anyway.
the only thing that could ever pull you away from this bliss, was the need to come back for air.
the sight of you, blushed and breathless, was always sure to make him swell with pride. in true hallmark fashion, a piece of hair falls in front of your face, and logan tucks it behind your ear without second thought.
âthat live up to the hype?â logan teases, raising a brow up towards the ceiling, that sly smirk of his making you flush even more.
âmaybe,â you quip back, pretending to mull things over in your mind before ultimately nodding your head enthusiastically.
and even when logan can sense the presence of bobby and marie looming nearby, he doesnât fly off the handle with a string of swear words like he wants to. he canât bring himself to rain on your parade just yet. though he shouldâve known youâd beat him to the punch.
âtheyâre standing in the hall arenât they?â you grumble against his lips, a hint of annoyance lacing your otherwise cheery tone.
âyup,â logan pops the last letter, shifting to give the pair a look that screams âiâm giving you a five minute head start before you get an earful.â they cartoonishly scamper off, the sound of bounding footsteps up the staircase filling the room.
you pinch the bridge of your nose, the bubble of this perfect moment popping at the thought of what the rest of your day was going to entail now that the mansionâs biggest blabbermouths caught you kissing.
âweâve got about 10 minutes before the entire state of new york knows our business.â
loganâs laugh rumbles against you, sending delightful vibrations throughout your body. even with the irritation that pricks at the both of you, thereâs an underlying sense of content that canât be ignored.
âi say it was worth it.â
âyeah?â you whisper, eyes searching loganâs for some sign of jest or sarcasm. surprisingly, theyâre full of sincerity, and it only adds to the warm and fuzzy feeling spreading across your skin.
âyeah,â he hums, gingerly cradling your face as he presses your lips together once more.
later, after you scold marie for being a meddler, youâll be sure to thank her for helping give you one of the most memorable kisses in your entire life.
thanks for reading! <3

birthday cake - rafe cameron
Baby daddy! Rafe x Baby mama! Maybank! Reader

Rafe Cameron Masterlist
More Baby Daddy! Rafe
Summary:
Itâs Irisâ first birthday, and Rafe may have gone a little overboard.
Warnings:
None, just birthday party fluff, some kissing
Word Count: 2.9k
A/N:
I love baby daddy Rafe. Let me know if you want to see more!
â
âWell donât you look absolutely gorgeous!â
Iris smiled and clapped her hands, giggling at your excited expression. She was dressed in a big poofy pink dress, white Mary Janes on her feet. Her light brown hair had been gathered into two tiny pigtails. She had a party hat you would try to get a picture of her in later, but you knew better than to try to get her to actually wear it.
It was May 26th, exactly one year since the best, most amazing day of your life.
âAlright, letâs get this show on the road,â JJ called as he walked through the living room carrying an armful of gifts. He had been packing the car the entire time youâd been getting Iris ready.
You picked up your daughter and sat her on your hip, grabbing her diaper bag and your purse with your free hand as you followed JJ to the door.
JJ got the last of the party supplies packed in the back of the car while you buckled Iris in her car seat, which turned out to be more difficult than expected with the floofy dress. You briefly wonder if you should have changed her at the country club.
You got it done eventually, and then you and JJ were on the road to Figure 8.
Rafe had insisted you hire a party planner. You argued with him on it at first, because you are perfectly capable of planning a first birthday party yourself, but he wouldnât drop it, saying he didnât want you stressing about planning and setting it up yourself. You had rolled your eyes, but he was paying for it, so you figured, what the hell.
It actually wasnât bad at all. The party planner had involved you every step of the way just like youâd wanted to be. She let you make all the decisions while she made it all come together. It was honestly amazing.
You arrived at the country club just in time to get settled before guests began to arrive. JJ carried the gifts while you carried the baby. You had planned the party for the perfect time, she was freshly up from a nap and would probably stay in a great mood for the whole event.
Your eyes widened as you, JJ, and Iris walked into the event space that had been booked for the party. The theme you had decided on was Berry First Birthday, and it was the most extravagant babyâs birthday party youâd ever seen.
When Rafe had told you he wanted to take care of the party, you didnât know what to think. He told you youâd still have full creative control because he knew youâd been looking forward to it, but he was going to cover it and he wanted to hire a planner. He let you make every decision, mostly staying out of it, his only instruction being âIt has to be the best for my girl.â
There was a big balloon arch made up of red, white, pink, and berry colored balloons, including some actual strawberry balloons, sitting in front of a large pink backdrop with printed strawberries that said Irisâ Berry First Birthday. A vintage looking white high chair sat in front of it, a banner attached to the front that said One with pink and red tassels.
There was a long table filled with food, including some cookies in the shape of strawberries and a large spread of fresh fruit. There was a table that held champagne, which you thought was kind of funny for a one year oldâs party. Another table held a giant 3-tiered white cake decorated with strawberries.
He had really gone all out. You werenât sure why you had expected anything less.
Rafe came walking over the second he noticed you walk through the door, a grin on his face.
âThereâs my birthday girl,â he said, reaching his hands out for Iris. She immediately held her arms out, leaning forward towards him.
You handed her over with a laugh, knowing you were no competition when Rafe was around. She was a complete daddyâs girl.
He placed a big kiss on her cheek as he settled her in his arms, and she giggled.
âYou look so pretty, baby girl,â he complimented her, smoothing down the puffy skirt of her dress. âI love your dress.â
âDadadadada,â she babbled in response, a gummy grin on her face. She still only had about 5 teeth. Rafe wore a pink shirt and khaki colored pants, and it was adorable the way he matched with her.
âYou really went all out,â you said, taking in the extravagance of the event.
âYeah, well,â he said, brushing you off and not taking his eyes off the baby, âshe only turns 1 once.â
Rafe was always a real baby hog. Once he took her when you arrived, you had a hard time getting her back. You busied yourself arranging the gifts on the gift table and setting out the gift bags you had put together for all the guests.
Guests began to arrive not long after. You and Rafe greeted them together with Iris, the star of the show, in his arms. She absolutely ate up all the attention, giving everyone a big smile and tolerating being passed around to friends and family.
âItâs my bestie!â Sarah squealed as she walked up with Wheezie next to her, holding her hands out for her niece. Rafe reluctantly handed her over, mostly because Iris had already been reaching for Sarah anyway.
Sarah and Wheezie cooed at the baby, fussing over her outfit and hair. Rafe watched, looking impatient to get her back.
âI canât believe youâre one already,â Sarah said, looking emotional as she hugged Iris to her chest. Iris tolerated the hold for about 2 seconds before she was wiggling free, and then she was reaching for Rafe again. Rafe took her back with a smug grin on his face.
âMe either,â you said, fighting back tears. You had been emotional all day, you definitely didnât need to be reminded how monumental of a day it was.
You had been satisfied with cell phone pictures, but apparently Rafe had hired a whole photographer. She called you over now, to the backdrop.
There was a whole photo session while the guests helped themselves to the food and refreshments. Photos of you and Iris, Rafe and Iris, you, Rafe, and Iris together. Pictures with Iris, Rafe, Sarah, Wheezie, Ward, and Rose. Some of you and JJ with her. And of course a group photo with the pogues with the birthday girl in the center.
When it was time for cake, you settled Iris into the vintage high chair. JJ brought over her smash cake, which was a smaller version of the big cake - small, round, and white with strawberries painted in icing decorating it. There was a big 1 candle on top.
JJ handed the cake to you, and Rafe pulled out a lighter and lit the candle.
The two of you walked over to the high chair, holding the cake in front of Iris close enough to see but far enough away that she couldnât reach the fire.
The whole party began to sing happy birthday, and it was then that it really hit you.
The past 365 days of your life flashed before your eyes. First smile, first laugh, first tooth, first word, learning to crawl. First night home from the hospital, when Rafe never strayed far from your side, holding newborn Iris every chance he got so you could eat and shower and sleep. The day she was born, when Rafe held your hand the entire time you were in labor, wiping the sweat off your face, feeding you ice chips, and telling you Youâre doing amazing, babe. How it had been a complicated labor, and when she was finally out and you heard her cry, you both looked at each other and breathed out a collectively held breath of relief. Seeing your daughter for the first time, just a tiny little thing, brand new to the world and snuggling into your chest for comfort. Rafe holding her for the first time, looking at her with pure adoration, and the way he cried (but made you promise not to tell anyone about that).
Your eyes moved up to look at him, and like he had the exact same thought at the same time, he turned and his gaze met yours as you continued to sing the song. Tears welled up in your eyes and you saw his become glassy, too. You both smiled at each other, a million unspoken emotions conveyed between them.
When the song was over, you and Rafe blew the candle out together, watching Irisâ delighted face. Rafe removed the candle and you placed the little smash cake in front of Iris.
She examined it first, cautious. Rafe grabbed her little hand, dipping it in the icing and bringing it to her lips. She gladly put her fingers in her mouth, they were usually there anyway, but her face lit up with a smile when she tasted the buttercream icing.
âSee? Mmm, yummy,â Rafe said, beaming at her.
âUmmy,â Iris repeated, and she dipped her hand into the cake willingly this time, grabbing a big handful and bringing it to her mouth.
Rafe laughed, delighted, and clapped his hands together once. Guests were taking pictures and videos on their phones, the photographer getting plenty of shots. Everyone continued to watch as Iris devoured her smash cake, eating until she couldnât anymore.
You and Rafe cleaned all the cake off of her when she was finished, which always made her cranky. She screamed as you wiped her off, but you and Rafe only laughed. You were still feeling emotional.
The big cake was served to all the guests by country club staff, and again it occurred to you that you had never in your life seen such a grand event for a one year old.
Presents were opened after everyone ate, you and Rafe on either side of Iris as she ripped into her gifts. She was more interested in the paper and empty bags than the gifts inside them, but at least she was having a blast. You knew sheâd be excited about the actual gifts later.
The gift table was already overflowing with the amount of guests at the party, but you swore that Rafe himself had brought half the table. It seemed like every other present handed your way had From Daddy written on it in Rafeâs handwriting.
Iris was asleep in Rafeâs arms by the time the guests began to leave. She was absolutely knocked out from all the excitement of the day.
Rafe stroked her hair absentmindedly as you both saw your guests off, thanking everyone for coming.
It was just close family and friends left, JJ and the pogues were loading up the car with Irisâ gifts while you ate another piece of birthday cake.
âTurned out pretty good,â Rafe said, speaking softly as he held your sleeping daughter.
âAre you kidding? It was amazing. You did not have to go all out like this.â You raised your eyebrows at him, icing smeared on your lips.
Rafe reached forward with his free hand, swiping his thumb across your lips and gathering up the icing. He popped his thumb into his own mouth, sucking the icing off as he held eye contact with you. You watched him, stunned for a minute.
âItâs no big deal,â Rafe said as if nothing had happened. âI wanted her to have a good party.â
You just looked at him. He was unbothered as usual.
âWell, it was a great party,â you finally said. âI appreciate it, Rafe.â
He shook his head. âYou donât have to thank me for doing things for our daughter. I want to.â
You knew he was being honest. Rafe went overboard sometimes, this being a perfect example, but he had the best intentions and it wasnât hurting anyone. It was hard not to fall in love with him when you watched him being the worldâs best dad.
When the car was packed full and there were still plenty of gifts left, Rafe told the guys to start loading the rest in his truck.
âIâm worried all this stuff isnât gonna fit in the house,â you said, furrowing your brows as you threw away some trash.
âAnything thereâs not room for she can keep at my place,â Rafe offered. Most of her stuff was at your and JJâs house, because thatâs where she spent most of her time, but she certainly was spoiled at Rafeâs too.
When everything was successfully packed up, Rafe buckled Iris into her car seat. She was so tired she barely stirred, continuing to nap as he snapped the buckles around her body and carried her to your car.
Rafe locked the car seat into the base in your back seat. He turned to you, suddenly standing so close.
âIâll follow you back to the house,â he said quietly. âHelp you unload all this stuff.â
Back at the house, you carried Irisâ seat inside, unbuckling her and bringing her to her bedroom while Rafe and JJ unloaded the cars. You changed her out of her dress and into something comfy and let her hair down.
You rocked her in the glider. She was so worn out from her day she started to drift back off quickly, her eyes fluttering shut and body relaxing in your arms.
When you stood to lay her in her crib, you noticed Rafe standing at the door. You slightly jumped when you saw him, not expecting him to be there, which made him chuckle quietly and you gave him a playful glare.
You stepped out of the room, closing the door behind you and Rafe softly.
âSheâs tired, huh,â Rafe observed, smiling at you. He was in a good mood today - it had been a good day.
âWorn out,â you agreed.
Rafe reached forward, rubbing his large hand down your arm. âYou did really good, by the way.â
âIt was fun,â you said. âBut the planner definitely did most of the work.â
âShe just did the boring part, you made the whole thing come together.â
You smiled back at him. He was being sweet, he was making an effort.
âI know everyoneâs been saying it all day, but I canât believe sheâs actually one,â Rafe laughed, rubbing a hand over his face. âIt feels like she was just born.â
Your smile was tinged with sadness, the emotions from the day sticking with you. âI know. Itâs too fast. All of it,â You shook your head, thinking of how fleeting her baby days had been.
âI just wishâŚâ Rafe began, looking down at his hands instead of at you as he spoke, âThat I didnât have to miss out on any of her life.â
You were silent. You knew what he meant. But you also knew that a relationship didnât work between the two of you. It was toxic, you were both jealous, you fought all the time. When you co-parented as two single parents, things were easy. If only you could ignore the way he made you feel.
Rafe sighed when you didnât respond. He said your name softly. You turned to look at him, finding his deep blue eyes staring into yours. He walked up to you until he was standing right in front of you, hand reaching up to play with your hair.
âRafeâŚâ you breathed, and you knew you should push him away, walk away, anything, but you donât.
Rafe leaned down until his lips met yours, kissing you softly, gently. You felt yourself melt into his kiss, like every bit of common sense in your brain was dying.
His arms wrapped around your hips, pulling your body flush against his. Your arms went around his neck, and he deepened the kiss, his tongue sliding into your mouth, massaging your own.
You moaned against his lips, which only egged him on more as he slid his hands around your body to grab your ass.
You pulled away just enough to speak. âJJ could walk back here at any secondâŚâ you whispered against his mouth.
Rafeâs lips quirked up in a smirk, because he didnât particularly care about that. But he knew you did.
âMaybe we can go to your bedroom, then?â he proposed, his fingers stroking over your body and sending shivers across your skin.
You wanted to say yes. But it was always a bad idea, always such a bad idea - maybe for once youâd make a smart decision.
âI canâtâŚâ you said, sounding like it pained you.
Rafe just held you for a second longer. Finally, he pressed his lips to your forehead, giving it a kiss as he pulled away from you, squeezing your arm as he let you go.
âI better get going then,â he said, and neither of you wanted him to, but you didnât change your mind. You didnât stop him.
Rafe turned and left the house before you could even say anything. You stood in the hallway until you heard the front door closing, his truck starting outside.
You briefly thought about running after him, begging him to come back and spend the night with you. But you donât. You decide to have more respect for yourself than that.
But you spend the whole night in your bed, thinking of him, aching for him. Until you reach for your cell phone, charging on the bedside table. You send him an impulsive text, just seeing if heâs still up.
His response comes immediately.
Rafey

I have some curiosity about how marionette acted before fuâs death. Was she her normal self until fu died and she just snapped or was she already in a downward spiral and fu just accelerated it to its conclusion?
She was already hugely stressed out, then the memories of Chat Blanc caused a large amount of her trauma to kind of double down - now she had a visualization of what things could be like if she failed, after all, and those images don't leave you - then when Fu lost all his memories, of which she blames herself for, she started to rapidly decline, as it was very much like losing a loved one AND she was losing the only adult she could discuss her superhero stress with.
Lila saw how reserved Marinette was becoming and stabbed the last nail in the coffin by starting rumors about her that Alya tried to confront Marinette about. Marinette was too exhausted to defend herself, and tried to just brush things off, but Alya took that as confirmation that Mari was acting as badly as Lila said, and from there - with someone she considered a close if not THE closest friend - leaving her behind, Marinette galvanized herself.
(not long after that, Bunnix tried to approach her and do damage control, but she was too heavy handed, pushing Marinette further from everyone. things haven't been the same since.)
#replies#the timeline is a bit scattered#we've seen most of this in flashbacks or discussed between characters#but marinette's slow fall from Positive Sunlight to Black Hole Of Depression was fairly slow#but it gained speed the more pressure was added#she's still the same marinette she used to be btw#but being so beaten down can really switch a person's gears#at points in this chapter we'll see the person she used to be shining through like slits of sunlight through shutters#and it will utterly enchant those who havent seen it before owo

--
"YOU SLEPT WITH SIRIUS?!"
"Shh! Mary keep your voice down," you uttered, looking around to see how many of your coworker's heads had swivelled towards you in response to Mary's loud exclamation.
"Sorry," she grimaced. "I'm just.. I'm in shock."
You sighed and leaned back where you were perched on the corner of her desk. "I think I am a bit as well."
There was a pause.
"Well, was it good?"
"Mary! Oh my god!" you groaned and threw a hand over your face to hide your mortification.
"What? I'm just asking. I can't say that I haven't imagined it once or twice myself-"
You slapped her gently across the shoulder with the back of your hand. "You're distrubed. You know that?"
She smirked. "You know you love me."
You rolled your eyes affectionately at your friend. "Anyway, we'd been drinking and it was Christmas and we were having such a wonderful time. I think we just got swept up in it all and now I don't know what to do. Things have been kind of... weird between us."
"Well have you guys talked about it?" Mary inquired.
"That's the thing. Afterwards he just kind of moved on like it never happened. I don't know if he thinks it was a mistake or something but it's stressing me out."
"Hmm," a thoughtful look crossed Mary's face as she took everything in. "Well how are you feeling about it? Do you think it was a mistake?"
You bit the inside of your cheek. "No? I-I don't think so. I dont know."
A look of realisation washed over Mary's face. "Do you like him??"
"I mean, of course I like him. I'm just not sure I like like him."
Your friend sighed exasperatedly. "Oh my god! We're not in Primary School, just answer the damn question!"
"Fine! I guess the answer is... yes?" you sighed. "But whatever! Does it even make a difference? He's made it exceptionally clear that he doesn't feel the same way."
"Look," Mary huffed, her expression growing sincere. "Sirius is great. He's fun and friendly and a total flirt but he's also been known to be a little emotionally constipated. Just be honest with him. Talk to him about it. He's not going to be able to pick up on any signals you're trying to send him."
You squeezed your eyes shut and let out a breath throught your nose. "Ugh fine."
"Good girl," Mary smiled. "Now go away. I actually have some work to get done today."
"Oh fine. I suppose I know when I'm not wanted," you teased, getting up and walking back towards your desk.
"Love you!" Mary called lightheartedly as you walked away.
"Yeah, yeah," you joked in response.
As you arrived back at your desk and slumped down in your chair, prepared to get back to work, a head peaked down at you over the cubical.
"Oh, you're back, I see."
You jumped slightly at the unexpected voice and looked up to see its perpertrator.
"Yes, Glenn. Hi. Is there anything I can help you with?"
Glenn was a new employee in your office and he sat in the cubical opposite yours. He was only a few years older than you and he was tall and fit with short blonde hair and piercing blue eyes. In the few weeks you'd known him for, he'd been particularly friendly towards you and recently you'd been getting the idea that he had taken a liking to you.
You weren't interested of course. He was an attractive guy but not really your type. And with everything going on with Sirius over the last week, you'd been making a effort to put some distance between you. You definitely weren't looking for anything of that nature right now and you didn't want to give him the wrong impression. However, Glenn was nothing if not persistant.
"Actually, I was just wondering if you had any plans for new years tonight? A few of my mates are throwing a party and you're welcome to join us if you're interested."
You sent him you're most empathetic smile. "That sounds lovely but unfortunately I already have some plans with my friends."
He sighed, flashing you a grin that looked suspiciously rehearsed. "Oh well. No problem. It was worth a shot. You have fun tonight."
"You too, Glenn."
As the man dissapeared back over the divider, you let out a heafty sigh. Tonight was surely going to be interesting.
--
The view was impeccable from the bar where your friends had gathered to spend New Years. In fact, seated beside a huge floor to ceiling window, you suspected you'd have a clear view of the New Years fireworks.
It was a classy joint, one that Dorcas had managed to get you access to through one of her fancy lawyer contacts.
Everyone was assembled on stools around a table, looking out over the London skyline. It was about four hours until midnight and the group was chatting excitedly in the lead up.
"I've got shots!" Mary called out and everyone cheered as she returned to the table with a tray.
She passed the drinks around and then took her seat beside you.
"Well, I suggest a toast!" James called out, grabbing the attention of the group. "To a wonderful year ahead, and many more memories with old, and new, friends!"
He emphasised the last line with a pointed look in your direction and you felt your cheeks growing hot.
"Cheers!" Marlene shouted enthusiastically and the others echoed her sentiments, clinking glasses and swallowing their drinks.
The burning of the liquor was welcomed as the drink ran down your throat. You'd been thinking a lot about what Mary had said to you in regards to your situation with Sirius. And as he sat beside you, laughing animatedly at one of Peter's stories, it only confirmed your worst fears. Maybe you were starting to develop feelings for your roommate. You grimaced at the thought. Things were bound to get messy in situations like this.
"So guys," Sybil piped up from across the table. "Let's all go around and say our New Years resolutions."
"Oh, I'll go first!" James volunteered. "I hope my team continues to play a great season annnddd... I want to work out more."
There was a collective groan.
"Come on, James. That's not a real one!" Mary complained.
Sirius chuckled, taking a pointed sip of his drink. "Yeah! You already work out like 7 times a day!"
"Ugh, okay fine!" James responded with groan. He thought for a moment. "How about this one. I'd like to fall in love this year."
You didn't miss the way his eyes flickered across the table towards Lily and you felt your heart sink. Lily seemed to take notice a well as she averted her eyes, taking a heafty gulp of the drink in her hand.
"Aww, James. Always the romantic, aren't you?" Marlene chuckled.
"Shut up." James rolled his eyes playfully. "Your turn then, Marls."
"Okay," She took a deep breath. "My goal this year is to become super rich and famous and sucessful."
"I second that!" Mary called across the table and you giggled as they clinked their glasses.
"Y/n. Your turn," Dorcas announced.
"Oh okay, um..." you thought for a moment, your gaze flashing to James and Remus across the table, then over to Sirius, who was watching you expectanly, a playlful glimmer in his stormy eyes.
You then looked back towards the rest of the group. "This year, I'd like to spend some more time with you lovely people."
A round of cooing echoed across the table and Mary threw her arms around you.
"Well aren't you just the sweetest!"
"Oh, and I'd like to work more on my novel," you added.
"Alright, alright. Sirius, you're up!" Marlene chimed.
The boy beside you pursed his lips, looking off into the distance as if deep in thought. Then, after a long moment, he turned back to all of you with a mischievous smirk on his lips.
"This year, I want to have lots of amazing sex!"
"Ew. Sirius, you're so foul," Lily exclaimed, followed by a symphany of similar sentiments from the other members of the group.
While everyone else was distracted, grumbling and groaning about Sirius' bluntness, the man leaned down towards you.
"You look great tonight, by the way." He whispered into your hair.
You gulped thickly, not quite sure what to do with yourself. You opted for downing the remainder of your Vodka, Lime and Soda.
--
As the evening drew on, you found yourself growing more anxious in Sirius' presence. You weren't quite sure what his game was, whether it was the alcohol or he was just feeling extra bold tonight, but he'd been suspiciously flirtatious.
You didn't know how to respond. Part of you wanted to let him. To let him woo you and go crawling back for more of what you'd had together on Christmas Night. However, the other, more logical part of you, told you that was a terrible idea. He was your roommate afterall. The last thing you wanted was to start some complicated friends-with-benefits situation with a guy you lived with, especially one that you had sort of, maybe, possibly had caught feelings for.
You downed another drink, feeling the alcohol grip you and hoped it would help to ease the nerves ever so slightly. You realised then, that you were staring.
Sirius had gone to the bar to order another round of drinks and you'd been watching with bated breath as he sent his signature smile to a girl wearing an explicitly tight black dress. You noticed the way she leaned forward, pressing her cleavage up against the bar as she spoke to him. God, could she be anymore obvious?
"Calm the hell down, y/n!" You thought to yourself. "It's not like you guys are together. He can flirt with whoever he wants."
"Hey, are you okay?" you raked your eyes away from the scene as a voice came from beside you.
"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine," You muttered absently, too distracted to notice that it was Remus who asked the question.
"Okay, never have I ever... made out with more than one person on the same night!" Mary's voice rang out and you forced your attention back to the group.
You weren't sure when this game had begun but you suspected it was suggested by one of the girls (likely Mary or Marlene) as a way to pass the final hour until midnight. You hadn't participated in this game since probably highschool, but you were all a few drinks in at this point so you figured, what the hell?
You watched as Marlene, James and Dorcas all took a sip. Then Lily sent Mary a pointed look.
"Come on, Mary. That's not how the game works. You have to say something you haven't done."
"I haven't!" Mary responded. Then she paused. "Oh wait, yeah I definitely have."
Everyone chuckled as she took a drink.
"Alright! Dorcas! Your turn." Mary nudged the girl in the side.
Dorcas rolled her eyes. "For the record, I just want to say, I think this game is stupid."
"Come on babe. Don't be a party pooper!" Marlene exclaimed, leaning in towards her girlfriend. "How else are we supposed to learn everyone's deepest darkest secrets."
Dorcas sighed and shook her head but there was a hint of a smile on her face. She really could never say no to Marlene.
"Ugh, fine. Never have I ever stolen something."
"Well that's a hard one," Mary muttered. "What do we count as stealing? Because I've stolen stuff from James a ton of times."
"Oi!" James shouted, looking positively affronted. Mary sent him an apologetic smile.
"No, not like that," Dorcas clarified. "It had to have been from an actual shop."
You all sat up straight for a moment, curiously looking around the group to see if anyone had. Hesitantly, Peter lifted his glass to his lips.
"Pete! What the hell!" James exclaimed.
"I don't know, I went through a phase in highschool!"
"What sort of stuff did you take?" Marlene pressed.
Peter shrugged. "Chocolate and ciggarettes, mostly."
There was an eruption of laughter that rippled across the table at Peter's revelation.
"Wow, I didn't know there was a degenerate among us," Lily teased, watching Peter's face flush bright red.
"Okay, okay. My turn!" Marlene said, once the laughter died down. "Never have I ever... gotten really sloshed and fallen down the stairs at my 18th birthday party"
"Hey! That's not fair!" James moaned, taking a sip of his beer. "You can't do targeted ones!"
Marlene just shrugged. "Sorry, but I don't think that was established in the rules."
James smirked. "Fine then! Never have I ever had sex with someone at this table."
Your blood ran cold for a moment as you glanced back towards the bar. You sighed in relief when you saw that Sirius was still over there. In that case, you technically hadn't slept with anyone at the table. You were off the hook for now.
Marlene rolled her eyes at James and took a drink, as well as Dorcas, Peter and Sybil, however, you watched James' eyes widen as Mary also took a long sip.
"Mary!" Lily hissed across the table. Your heart plummeted.
"What?" Mary shrugged, the alcohol clearly having gone to her head. "We have to! It's the rules."
"Wait! Hold on," Marlene murmered, her eyes drifting between the two girls. "Did you guys..."
There was a heavy anticipatory silence that hung over the table as you all awaited Lily's response. The girl grimaced, as she tried to muster some kind of explanation.
It was then that her eyes drifted up to meet James' pleading ones.
"Lily?" the boy asked softly. Your heart broke for him.
"So I guess the cat's out of the bag huh?" the girl sighed. "Mary and I have sort of been seeing each other. Romantically."
"Holy shit!" Marlene shouted, candid and straight to the point as she usually was in these situations.
"How long has this been going on?" Dorcas questioned.
"It's still really new," Lily explained.
"We were just trying to figure out the right time to tell you guys," Mary added.
"So you're the one Mary has been seeing?" James murmered.
"Yes," Lily responded. "I'm sorry James but you had to know it was never going to work out between us."
The boy sighed, running a hand through his unruly curls. "Yeah, I know."
Then he started to stand. "I think I just need some air for a minute."
"James, wait-" Remus reached out to grab his arm but James shook him off.
"I just need minute," he repeated, grabbing his coat from the back of his chair and hurrying towards the exit. Part of you wanted to go after him but the other part recognised that he probably needed some space to process things.
"Sorry, everyone. I didn't mean to ruin the night," Mary murmered folornly.
"No hun! you didn't ruin anything," you comforted.
"Yeah, we're really happy for you two," Dorcas added.
"Really?"
Everyone nodded.
"Absolutely. You both deserve to be happy," Remus confirmed.
Wide smiles crossed over the girls' faces.
--
It was two minutes until midnight and Sirius was nowhere to be seen. Despite your better judgement, you couldn't help but feel slightly disapointed. You supposed that there was some small aspect of your mind that hoped Sirius would be your New Years kiss.
You knew it was wishful thinking, especially when you hadn't even spoken about what happened between you, but with how he'd been acting towards you throughout the night, you'd allowed yourself to nurture that flicker of hope.
As people crowded around the window and the countdown began, you found your eyes searching the room for the dark haired man, wondering if just maybe, he'd make a last minute appearance.
"Five, four, three, two..."
You scanned the space one last time.
"One!"
You're last flicker of hope died out as your eyes finally landed on his form.
"Happy New Year!"
The shouts and cheers faded into the background as you watched Sirius press his lips to those of the boob-y blonde you'd seen him flirting with before.
The moment seemed to go in slow motion. You watched from afar as he tangled his hand in her hair, just as he'd done in yours only a week prior.
"Of course," you thought. "Typical"
It was Sirius Black you were talking about. You were stupid to think you meant anything more to him than a casual night of fun.
In an instant, you turned on your heel and walked towards the door, the sounds of the party fading into the background. You decided, instead of bumming around waiting for Sirius to notice you, you'd go look for James, just as you should've done much earlier.
The cold hit you like a block of cement as you stepped outside onto the street. It didn't take you long to find him.
He was sitting on the curb, outside of he bar, arms resting on his knees as he looked up towards the sky. Another explosion sounded and a flash of colour filled the air. In the distance, you could hear the cheers of excited people all around as they celebrated.
"Happy New Year, James."
He turned to look at you and in the flash of light, as another firework flickered across the sky, you were able to notice the faint tear tracks that lined his cheeks.
"Oh hey." he sniffled, rubbing a hand beneath his glasses and trying to regain a semblance of composure.
BANG!
You flopped unceremoniously onto the ground beside him as another flash filled the sky. You gave him a sympathetic smile. Funnily enough, in that moment, you knew exactly how he felt.
"Are you okay?" You asked him gently.
He let out a dry chuckle. "Yeah. I will be."
BANG!
"Good."
You both turned your gazes back to the display, taking in the beautiful array of colours filling the air. It wasn't quite the view you'd expected for the night, but somehow, that didn't seem to matter.
As you continued to watch the fireworks, you felt the gentle touch of a hand wrapping around your own. You smiled slightly as your fingers intertwined.
BANG!
Slowly, you shuffled closer and leaned into him, gently resting your head on James broad shoulder.
You stayed like that a while, just taking in the show, and each other's company.

Again, yâall. Iâm sorry. Sheâs got me in a chokehold. I might write more chapters for this one. I kinda like it.
Donât Take My Sunshine
WC: ~2.2k
âWhat did you call me, Schemmenti?!â Your voice rang through the empty hall of Abbott Elementary. The red-headed teacher has driven you crazy on every level possible for the last three years. She infuriated you from the beginning. She hadnât even given you a chance when you started teaching at this school, immediately starting in on your appearance and your happy-go-lucky attitude, and then evolving to criticizing your teaching methods! She always knew exactly how to get under your skin, and after all this time you had hoped that she would have calmed down. Or that your skin wouldâve gotten thicker.
Fiery hair flew out of the door down the hall, followed by piercing green eyes, a bright pink blazer over a charcoal blouse, flowy black dress pants, and heels that could puncture your heart. Her eyes landed on you, and you felt your breath catch slightly. Even though they always held contempt for you, her eyes were the most beautiful you had ever seen. They almost made her insults bearable. Almost.
âYouâre a little sfigata! Cominâ in here, actinâ so full oâ life, anâ now I got my students wantinâ to know what youse guys are doing in the class next door! I can barely keep my kiddos engaged, then we got Mary Freaking Poppins havinâ sunshine and musicals every stinkinâ day! Iâm so over you and your chipper little attitude! Get over yourself!â If this was how hostile she was going to be on week three of school, you were going to have to resign yourself to a long year. Your chipper attitude was hard-earned through years of bullies, exes, angry parents, and just plain mean people.
After three years, you had decided two things when it pertained to Melissa Schemmenti:
â˘She was undeniably attractive- a Philly thirteen, you swear to Gods- and she only got hotter when she was angry
â˘You were gonna kill her with kindness
âYou think I sound like Mary Poppins?â You asked her sweetly, giving her as genuine of a smile as you could muster. You swear you saw her eye twitch. âThatâs really sweet of you, Melissa. Just because youâre being so sweet, Iâll try to keep it down.â You gave her a quick wink, and dipped into your classroom to finish grading the tests from today.
You disappeared from Melissaâs line of sight so quickly, you missed the shocked expression flash across her face. It lasted less than a second before it turned to one of annoyance. She tightened her hands into fists, crumpling the papers in her left, before storming back into her own classroom.
The following week found you staying true to your word, keeping the volume to a lower octave than before. You didnât have any less music throughout your day, though. The week also brought less snide remarks from the Italian next door. They were still there, but they were slowly losing their bite.
By the time Christmas break rolled around, she was almost⌠complimenting you? She took to not being so snide when she had a request to make, and you think last week you heard a âpleaseâ come from those beautiful lips. Youâre pretty sure itâs a real smile she gives you when she calls you things like âLittle Miss Sunshineâ and âPrincess Happy.â You realized that, sure, when she was angry she was gorgeous, but when her eyes softened, and the corners of her lips curled up into a smirk at one of your sarcastic remarks, she went from beautiful to straight-up ethereal.
âââ
âSo what did you do over Christmas break?â Janine Teagues slid into the seat next to you, while you attempted to eat your lunch. The stress from seeing your family over break had you so caught up in your own mind, you barely noticed Janine had sat down. You definitely didnât notice the redheadâs eyes on you.
âHuh?â Was all you managed for a response in between stabbing at your salad with your fork. This seemed to shock a few of your colleagues, as Barb and Jacob both looked at you with concern on their faces. You were usually one to chat animatedly with Janine, or anyone, about a variety of subjects.
âDid you do anything over break?â She repeated, slightly more hesitant than last time.
âOh, I went home to see my Grandpa,â you sighed slightly, remembering the disaster that was your impromptu family reunion.
It was just supposed to be dinner between you and your grandpa, but apparently over the last three years, he and your father had reconnected. You havenât talked to your father since his horrible reaction to you coming out. It had been years since you had seen him, and you definitely had not wanted to see him yet. The night ended with you and your cousin screaming and arguing over respecting your elders, even if they disrespect you.
You ended up apologizing to your grandfather for the scene and coming home three days earlier than planned. You spent the remainder of your time away from Abbott making lesson plans, and trying to come up with more projects to get your kids excited to learn. The four pints of ice cream you went through did nothing to soothe your emotions.
âThat mustâve been nice! I miss my grandpa. When I was little, he used to take me and my sisterâŚâ her voice trailed off as you pulled your mind back into school mode. After you had finished your lunch, you made your way straight to your classroom, not even bothering to bid farewell to a soul in the break room. Not a single one of those souls missed the frown that donned Melissaâs face as you left without saying goodbye, though no one was brave enough to call attention to her suddenly soured mood.
It took all of two minutes before Melissa was out of her seat, and marching down the hall towards your room. The bell rang as she was halfway to your room, signaling that her little eagles would be on their way back to her room. She muttered to herself, something about âsaved by the bellâ and âstinkinâ sunshine anyway,â and turned to meet her kids in her class.
The rest of the day went by without any major disasters. Other than the usual messes, and small arguments, the children were well-behaved, and your mode started to lift slightly. Being back in your class was bringing a sense of normalcy that you needed after the break. You were reminded that these kids look up to you and really do care for you as much as you do for them.
After dismissal, you gathered your things and made your way to the parking lot, avoiding goodbyes for the second time that day. It wasnât that you were avoiding them per se, you just didnât have the energy to be the happy-go-lucky person you try to be when at school, and you didnât want any of your friends to see you like this.
It took an entire week back from break before you were finally feeling like yourself again. You had avoided any and all unnecessary interaction between your coworkers, which was surprisingly difficult, especially by Wednesday when Melissa had begun to try and seek out interactions with you. You taught kindergarteners, so the only teacher you couldnât avoid at all costs was Barb, and she seemed to understand you needed space, so she only approached you if she absolutely had to. Thankfully, she hadnât needed much, so you were able to keep to yourself all week.
Having to endure the entire week without you, got Melissa thinking. On Tuesday, she had thought maybe she had done or said something that crossed the line. Whether or not your cute little laughs had grown on her, she was still a Schemmenti, and Schemmentis had attitude. But between not talking to anybody the day before, and now youâre not at lunch, she realized she might miss that laugh a little more than she wanted to.
On Wednesday, she decided sheâd find you and apologize. If she had hurt your feelings, she would actually feel a little bad. You had been a whole ass ray of blinding sunshine for three years, never once faltering at any of her quips, jokes, or all out insults, and if she had really gotten you with one, she hadnât meant to. Especially not now, not when your smiles were make or break for her day, and your tears made her want to bare knuckle fist fight anyone who made you feel like shit.
Thursday morning brought fumes for Melissa. She hadnât seen you in the parking lot before school, the break room for coffee, or first recess break, which she knew that you shared with her. And if anyone asks, no, she was not looking forward to seeing you or that beautiful smile that made her question everything or the way you clearly cared about every single student within these walls. She was definitely just upset because clearly you were shirking on your duties, thatâs all. It was only during her planning period that she calmed down, and it was due mostly in part because of Barb joining the hot-headed Italian and expressing her concern for you. Realizing that Melissa was not the only teacher at Abbott that you had been avoiding made it slightly more bearable for the woman.
Then came Friday. The morning had been a nightmare for you, starting with waking up late, burning breakfast, and then forgetting your packed lunch right there on the counter in the kitchen. You got to work, and decided to sit in your car to decompress for a moment. Across the parking lot, you saw Melissa getting out of her car and start looking around, probably looking to see if Barb was here already. You were surprised when her eyes stopped on your vehicle, and she started making a beeline towards you. When she got close enough, you two locked eyes, and she began talking. You couldnât understand her, of course. You were still sitting in your car, in shock that she had sought you out. You opened your door and the barrage of words was audible.
â-get off thinking that you can become a staple in my routine and then disappear? You got some nerve! You canât just come in and make it all sunshiney and make everyone like you, and then avoid us all! Some of us rely on your insufferable chipperness, ya know?â
The funk of your last week was washed away in an instant as you realized something. Here Melissa Schemmenti was, scolding you, infuriated because she hadnât seen you for a week. The last three months of you giving her the biggest smiles you could muster and the politest compliments you could think of, had worked.
âHello?â Melissaâs voice snapped you out of your reverie, âYou got anything to say for yourself?â
You grinned mischievously before replying. âYou missed me, Schemmenti, didnât ya?â You saw her soften slightly. Unbeknownst to you, she was flooded with relief. Barb had been growing increasingly worried about you, which of course only raised Melissaâs concern tenfold.
âHow can I not miss my sunshine?â She asked with a smile. A real, genuine smile. You wouldâve noticed her blush, had you not been too worried about hiding your own. âJust donât take it away again, ya hear?â
âââ
âThereâs my sunshine!â Melissa was leaning against the doorframe of your classroom with her arms folded across her chest, and a beautiful smile radiating across the room. It was the last day of school and you were just finishing packing the last of your things to head home for the summer. The months since winter break had brought a friendship between you, Melissa, Barb and Jacob that you had never thought would be possible. The four of you had become inseparable, sharing laughs and jokes amongst your days of dealing with the children of chaos, though you wished for more than friendship with one of them.
You looked up at her and smiled. She took your breath away. The last few years with Melissa took your emotions on a rollercoaster. The process from moving from enemies to friends was a long one, but it took no time at all for your good platonic feelings to turn into something very less platonic. You thought about all the work you did to become her friend, and decided you werenât willing to risk losing that. Not yet.
So instead, you settled with the fact that for now, Melissa Schemmenti didnât hate you anymore. âHey, Mel. You, Barb, and Jacob ready to go?â She nodded and you followed her into the hall, meeting up with the other two of the Fearsome Foursome (Jacobâs idea), and heading out to dinner with your best friends.
As far as Melissa was concerned, she thought as she walked with her friends out of Abbott Elementary, she didnât need to label whatever it was she was feeling for you. You had brought a sunshine into her life that penetrated all the dark little corners of her heart, and sheâd be damned if anyone tried to take her sunshine away.

SALVATORE â father charlie mayhew đ˛ă
¤Í

PART 1.ăť PART 2 (coming soon)
summary. in search of understanding and compassion, y/n finds herself growing fond of her new priest and teacher, father charlie mayhew.
a/n: holyyy i'm so excited for this! it is based off a request that i can't find atm, anon u know who u are :D as always feedback is deeply appreciated & requests are open âĄ
tw. blasphemy; subtle touches; slight praise?; father charlie is a teaseeeee! (basically, nothing too extreme just yet) | wc. 2862
Y/N was sitting in the schoolyard, pen moving against the page of her journal swiftly as she lost herself in the little world she created in her head. The feeling of grass on her bare legs somewhat comforting, taking off some of the stress blooming in her chest.
It was almost finals season in the catholic university she went to. Every few seconds she could hear the other girls' worried voices, discussing the importance of the finals, almost as if their lives depended on it.
Y/N leaned against the tree, deep sigh leaving her mouth as she closed her journal, fingers brushing against the cover almost lovingly. She looked around, the sun almost hiding behind the stone brick walls. A few groups of girls were scattered around the yard, girls she barely spoke to. It wasn't that they weren't kind, she just didn't feel like fraternising with any of them.
She was just... different. Slightly older than most of them, although no one besides the nuns and teachers knew that. And she wasn't really a believer. Her parents were. made her go to the church every sunday, pray every night. They did everything to make her the perfect daughter, but they failed.
It was probably a form of self defence; some kind of a protest against everything her family wanted her to be. She became a sinner. Got drunk, took drugs, smoked, and even slept with a boy or two. The last one made her parents so angry and so disappointed that they made a decision to send her to a catholic college. A catholic, girls' only college. The loneliness she felt in the place almost made her regret everything she's done in the past.
Y/N got up from the grass and straightened her skirt when the big clock on the wall struck a quarter to six. She had a mass to attend to, and it was obligatory to pass the semester.
Some of the girls looked at her when she passed, some greeted her with a smile. their souls so pure, so untouched, she almost felt jealous.
She entered the church soon after, the soft clicking of her Mary Janes against the marble floor disturbing the quietness of the temple. The smell of incense filled her nostrils, so familiar yet so distant at the same time. The church was still empty as she sat in the third row, staring down at her hands. Goosebumps covered the skin of her legs, the cold air making her shiver slightly. She folded her hands in a prayer, kneeling and focusing on the cross behind an altar.
"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time, accepting hardship as a pathway to peace, taking, as Jesus did, this sinful world as it is, trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to your will, so that I may be reasonably happy in this life, and supremely happy with you forever in the next", she chanted, voice quiet, eyes closing involuntarily.
She made the sign of the cross, feeling somewhat better after the short prayer. Her eyes opened, and she looked at the cross behind an altar, a small smile adoring her face. It was almost as if she could feel His presence next to her.
"I don't mean to interrupt", a low, yet soft voice came from behind her, and she was quite surprised at the fact she couldn't recognise it. Y/N turned her head, and her breath hitched at the sight of a young man in a cassock. His dark hair slicked back perfectly, and oh lord, he was so handsome, all of him. He looked more like a personal trainer of some sort than a priest. She could see his muscles even through the thick material of his gown. He walked towards her slowly, hands behind his back, pink mouth turning upwards, offering her a kind smile. "That was beautiful. It's rare to see someone so dedicated to prayer these days. Especially someone as young as you", he continued, now standing next to her as she kept wide eyes on him, his much bigger form towering over her. She cleared her throat, heart pounding in her chest. Y/N's cheeks burned as she realised he was waiting for an answer, playful glint in his eyes at the sight of her abashment.
"Excuse me, I don't mean to offend you..." the words word came out unsure, his intense gaze focused on her face, as if he was trying to memorise every detail about her. the young man nodded, meeting her eyes, and something dangerous sparked in his dark irises just for a moment. "I haven't seen you around here before".
"Of course. I should've introduced myself sooner, forgive me. I'm Father Charlie Mayhew", he clarified, the way his name rolled off his tongue made Y/N shift uncomfortably, hands shaking on her lap.
"I'm Y/N", she retorted quickly. "I'm so sorry for the directness, Father... but you are so young for a priest".
He chuckled softly, shaking his head, and Y/N couldn't help but smile, body finally starting to relax.
"And you seem too old to be a third year student, yet here you are", he noted playfully, sitting next to her on a wooden bench. Y/N gasped in disbelief at his sarcastic comment, the urge to laugh too strong now as she pressed her lips together in attempt to stop it.
She crossed her legs, the already short skirt riding up her thigh, and Father Charlie wasn't oblivious to that. She didn't notice the way his jaw tightened, shaky breath leaving his mouth, gaze lingering on her bare skin for a little bit too long.
"I must admit, Father", she started, leaning back against the cold wood, eyes focused on the altar, hands back on her lap in order to warm herself up. "I haven't confessed in ages. And never of my own accord", she spoke softly, the weight of her sins unbearable now, her head tilting to look at him, "And I'm not a saint. I've done a lot of things i'm not proud of. i still do", she admitted, the last sentence coming out as a whisper. She expected to see disgust in his eyes, maybe some signs of pity; yet all she found was an understanding going deeper than she would've expected. Father Charlie nodded, deep sigh leaving his mouth. He cocked his head, and Y/N couldn't help but notice the way his jaw clenched uncontrollably, the air between heavy, weird tension rising between the two.
Her eyes followed his every single move, unable to look away, mesmerised by his angelic presence.
"We are all sinners, Y/N", Father Charlie met her eyes, yet he looked absent, as if there were other things bothering him at the moment. "If you ever feel the need to talk, about anything, I will be more than happy to help. Come to me anytime", he reached for her leg, never breaking eye contact as he traced his thumb over her thigh softly. His words seemed so ambiguous, so wrong, almost blasphemous, considering his position. Yet she nodded her head politely, her gaze landing on his lips, need beginning to consume every single part of her body.
In that moment, she felt like she could trust him with her life. His presence so intimidating yet comforting, like a warm hug that she oh so desperately needed.
"I will keep that in mind. thank you, Father", Y/N pressed her thighs together, licking her lips nervously. He nodded, squeezing her thigh for the last time before standing up. Y/N shivered at the sudden coldness surrounding her, thigh burning from his soft touch. Charlie's eyes running over her form for the last time before he turned away and left.
Y/N exhaled, gripping at the edges of the pew tightly, and she swore she could hear her own heartbeat in the quietness of the church.
Lust. Yet another sin to add to the already long list. The very thing that made her parents send her to a catholic school, yet here she was, desire consuming every part of her body as she saw Father Charlie in the back of her mind, the memory of his warm hand on her thigh making her head spin. She felt pathetic at having such unholy thoughts about a freaking priest, the old version of her, the sinner, buried deep inside, beginning to set her body aflame, and it scared her.
She almost laughed hysterically at the ridiculousness of her current position as she looked at the altar again. The cross behind it almost mocking her, it's as if she could feel the disappointment of her Lord as she gazed at it blankly, the image of Father Charlie's smile appearing in her head yet again.
A few days passed, and it was as if Father Charlie vanished into thin air. It made Y/N wonder if he wasn't all an illusion, some sort of manifestation of her desires. Ever since the rather unusual encounter in the church, she hasn't seen him. His words echoed in her mind pretty often. "Come to me anytime". He had to be real. She actually contemplated reaching out to him, going into the church fifteen minutes before the mass started in hope of seeing him again.
Yet he never came. And she was disappointed; she grew fond of him, even though they only talked once. Loneliness sparked in her chest yet again, now more than ever. Yet she continued with her classes, being as perfect as ever, never letting anyone see through her. The only thing she could think of was his him, a devilishly handsome priest, whose eyes haunted her even in dreams.
When Y/N woke up that morning, sun shining through the curtains, an image of Father Charlie appeared in her mind once again. She hated herself for thinking about him so often, yet his smile seemed to be stuck in her head, his voice echoing through her head like some sort of a dreamy psalm.
It was Wednesday; which meant there was a hard day ahead of her. Bible reading classes with Sister Megan, whom she adored, very much, but her presence felt melancholic, as if she was sucking the life out of Y/N. She was so pure, as every single girl in the university, and it made her angry. Angry because she couldn't relate to any of them, angry because the only person who seemed to understand her was Father Charlie. Father Charlie who disappeared as quickly as he appeared.
She groaned at the thought of him, rubbing her eyes slowly, stretching, dramatic yawn leaving her mouth.
The air felt hot on her skin, smile appearing on her face nonetheless, eyes squinting involuntarily as she took in the weather outside the window. It was such a beautiful day, summer air making her feel better as she got up slowly, starting to get ready for the day.
It was ten past eight as she left her room, locking it before walking down the hallway to leave the residence hall, her heels clicked against the wooden floor as she walked, the silence almost suffocating, a musky smell of the antique building filling her lungs. She took a left and walked through the classroom door confidently.
"Good morning, Sister", she looked at the spot behind the teacher's desk, expecting to see Sister's Megan contagious smile, yet she was met with Father Charlie's intense gaze.
She inhaled softly at the sight of him as she stopped in the middle of the class, heart throbbing in her throat. She was mad that, once again, he looked absolutely breathtaking; not wearing a cassock this time, instead there was a black suit that cling perfectly to his muscular body. His ring glistened in the sun as he drummed his fingers against the desk, back pressed against the back of the chair comfortably, legs spread wide, almost inviting her to come in between them, and her heart throbbed with longing at the sight.
"Well, good morning, Y/N", he smiled and looked her up and down shamelessly, his gaze making her feel small as she returned his smile hesitantly.
"Cha- Father", Y/N breathed, chewing on her bottom lip, unsure what to say. He was the last person she expected to see, but she was relieved to see him. "Is Sister Megan sick?"
She walked to the front desk slowly, putting her bag down on the wood, eyes never leaving his form.
"No need to worry. Sister Megan is perfectly fine. Although I will be the one to conduct the Wednesday classes from now on", he explained, flashing his white teeth at her as he smiled. She thought that he looked really happy to see her; happiness bloomed in Y/N's chest, body starting to get warm, heat lingering in between her thighs.
"Good", she breathed a little bit too enthusiastically, the excitement obvious in her voice. "I wanted to come and see you, Father, but it seems as if you were... absent", she wet her lips, fidgeting with the hem of her skirt mindlessly, battling her eyelashes. The gesture made Charlie twitch in his seat; her faked innocence was adorable, her body and eyes betraying her true intentions right away.
"Yes, I was quite busy", he sighed, getting up abruptly. "Why did you want to see me? Did something happen?", Charlie asked, genuinely curious as he walked over to Y/N, standing right in front of her crossed legs. Her breath hitched as she looked up, meeting his gaze, tensing at the closeness.
"I...", she hesitated, "I don't know".
A lie.
He half-smiled as y/n uncrossed her legs, gripping the edges of the desk until her knuckles turned white. Her chest heaved with uneven breaths, yet she never looked away from his eyes, tension inside of her stomach ready to snap anytime now.
"Y/N...", he leaned in, "Lying is a sin".
Charlie took a step back, his gaze hardening, almost becoming demanding as he clenched his jaw.
"Luke, 8:17", his voice almost taunting as he challenged her, dangerous glint in his dark irises.
Her palms became sweaty as she chanted: "For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light".
Charlie's smile almost predatory, adoration taking over his features as he tilted his head, hand reaching out to put a strand of Y/N's hair behind her ear. The girl's eyes fluttered shut as she exhaled through her mouth, the feeling of his warm hand on her cheek so right, as if he was meant just for her.
"Smart girl", he praised, voice low and proud. He dropped his hand, backing off and she finally felt like she could breathe again. She hated herself for enjoying his touch and words so much, his position more exciting than terrifying now. Yet they both knew he shouldn't be doing this, using her submissiveness to feed his own sick fantasies, teasing her until she broke. But there was no denying the effect he had on her, panties damp from the arousal coating them, embarrassment and guilt heavy on her chest, yet the lust blooming in her stomach stronger.
The air around her felt cold, even though it was hot outside. She so desperately wanted him to touch her again, but she woke up from the trance quickly, clearing her throat as the clock struck eight thirty.
"I'm sorry, Father", her voice barely above a whisper as she fixed her hair, jumping off from the desk as she heard her classmates' hushed voices from the corridor.
Y/N sat down across from him as she lowered her gaze, fidgeting with the hem of her skirt, face flushed as she tried to maintain her balance. Charlie's appearance as perfect as before as he sat back on the chair casually; disappointment bloomed in her chest at his stoic posture, thinking that it didn't affect him at all.
"You need to confess before the weight of your sins crushes you, Y/N", his voice dangerously low yet steady, spark in his dark eyes, before he greeted the other students as they walked in. Professional look on his face, the one she hasn't seen before, as he started the class, his words inaudible as she followed his every move with curious eyes.
Father Charlie was not just a priest. Something about him made her crave for him, all of him. He seemed to understand her so well, even though they barely spoke. She found comfort in his demanding yet affectionate manner, the way he praised her, touched her softly, almost as if he expected her to break if he pushed too hard. Heart filled with longing as she followed the movement of his lips, the way his silver cross necklace glistened in the sunlight. Dimples appearing on his face when he smiled at something her classmate said, dark eyes that kept on meeting her own.
So divine yet so cruel.
So tempting yet so forbidden.

mary âĄ: hope u like it ! english is not my first language, i apologize for the mistakes âĄ
rules ; masterlist.

SUB-ZERO (BI-HAN).
â despite how he looks and how he talks, bi-han is quite gentle in bed with you and doesn't want to have too much control over you, he knows that he can intimidate you too much and maybe you will become afraid of him, which will literally kill him. he wants to show you his love that he can't put into words, but his gentle touches and sweet kisses will do the trick.
â he's not the loudest during sex, i think he's just afraid to make any sounds, but he wants to hear you all the time, the way your mouth opens and the sounds that come out of it make his cock move inside you even more. if he sees that you like the way he whimpers or moans, he'll never shut up.
â i think he's pretty shameless and will definitely tell you what he wants to do to you and describe it in every color.
â he is crazy about your breasts and how they look in his palms and the way your nipples harden just from his breath elevates his ego to the heavens. bi-han will suck your tits all the time, he just can't stop and wants to do it all the time. loves to run his tongue over it and leave his drool (he's so dirty and needy 100% canon), will probably leave hickeys around your boobs and then stare at them forever. you can be sitting with friends and he'll just say in your ear that he wants to suck your boobs and you'll be like "wtf??? u ok???"
â a fan of eye contact.
â loves to humiliate, but he'll never go too far and bring you to tears, you're too precious to him, so he mixes it up with kind words to let you know you're still the best.
"where's my favorite, slut? hey, eyes on me, baby."
"show me how much you want that cock inside you and maybe i'll make you feel good."
"don't you dare make a sound, got it? or do you want to be heard? you're that dirty, aren't you, honey?"
â he doesn't have a favorite position, anything where you achieve pleasure and love each other is fine, he likes to touch you, so he doesn't like tying you up or too much bdsm, too much spanking that will leave bruises on you or too much hickeys, no matter how much he loves you, he doesn't want anyone to know about your intimate life, but still, the position he uses most often is cuddle-fucking.
â either he's your sweetest lover who is gently pounding into you, kissing the corners of your lips and whispering sweet nothings, or he's your daddy and wants you to moan loudly for him while he's trying to beat the hell out of you and get rid of the stress.
â he is obviously bigger than you and every time you stand next to him and he sees your difference, he gets blown away and you're already on the bed.
â his favorite kinks are size kink(!), voice kink and dirty talk kink.
â the biggest and thickest cock of all three of them, i just know it and i know that his cock is constantly throbbing when he sees you. bi-han knows that before he enters you he needs to warm you up good because well...his cock is really big, i'm afraid it will rip absolute anyone.
â loves to cuddle you after sex and kiss your whole face, he will take good care of you and change all the stuff you got dirty. he wants to fall asleep in your arms and listen to your heartbeat that helps him sleep and think what he did to deserve you.
KENSHI TAKAHASHI.
â i think he's pretty gentle and doesn't want to force you into things. will insist on your wishes and what you want to do the most. he won't mind if you tell him you want to tie him up, he'll be only too happy.
â based on what he can't see, it will be a little hard for him and kenshi will constantly think he's doing something wrong and if he hears that you're hurting, um, he'll go crazy. but i know it won't come to that. kenshi loves you and respects everything you've done for him, so he wants to repay you in the most wonderful ways every time.
â kenshi can't live a day without licking you and tasting you. He loves the way you wiggle his tongue and the beautiful sounds you make, he's in heaven because of you. kenshi dreams of meeting you after a hard day and asking you to sit on his face so you can get rid of the stress and soak his face in your juices. i think kenshi likes any position where he can suck your clit and kiss your folds.
â he doesn't have the fastest pace, more like a medium pace so you can enjoy this beautiful moment. but if you ask him he will go wild, even with a blindfold he will make sure you can't walk normally the next day. he loves you so he will take care of you âĄ
â not the biggest fan of hickeys, he likes kissing your skin and saying nice words more.
â words ! kenshi loves it when you talk during sex and you tell him about how good you feel and how his cock was made for your cunnie. he's still not the most confident so he needs your words of encouragement, but he'll be sure to praise you too.
"ahhh, where's my beautiful girl? you're so good for me, thank you, honey."
"come for me, baby, show daddy how much you love him."
"you understand, don't you? you were made for me and i was made for you and it's the best thing that ever happened to me."
â he can cum anywhere, anything you want, he doesn't really care and wants you to like everything, but kenshi dreams of cumming in you and imagines what your child will be like, but...that's another conversation.
â i don't think he has the biggest dick, but he's not the smallest either. he's been with girls before, i'm sure he knows how to handle it and get you shaking.
â kenshi's kinks: daddy kink, praise kink, breeding king, maybe size kink.
â he likes poses where he can kiss your face and he would love to see it and see the emotions you show, but he also wouldn't mind if you ride him aggressively. for him, the top is missionary, full-nelson and maybe cowgirl.
â he may want to try public sex but will never say so, it turns him on that someone will see you and see how well he fucks you, but your bed looks more comfortable still.
â he will take excellent care of you afterwards and will do everything at the highest level. for starters he will lie with you and kiss you on the forehead to let you know how proud he is of you. he will take a bath with you and give you a good bath. he only needs words and nothing else, he is grateful that after everything that happened you are still here and let him love you.
LIU KANG.
â and finally we have reached the most beautiful man. liu kang is a true gentleman and will faithfully wait for you to want to feel all of him, and if you don't want anything, it's okay, he won't pressure you and will instead cuddle with you for a long time.
â he obviously knows how to bring a woman to a euphoric orgasm and he's going to try it out on you. he likes to see you whimpering under him and asking him to move his fingers faster, but he doesn't want to, he likes to see what a mess you're becoming and he hasn't even gotten his cock out yet.
â he likes any part of your body and will idolize everything, but your neck and shoulders have a special effect on him when he leaves kisses and feels the goosebumps on your skin and the way you immediately want more, wow, he's crazy.
â moans for you, makes the wettest noises, whimpers, he does everything and he's not ashamed, why should he keep quiet? you make him feel so good and he wants you to hear it. really, really loves talking to you during and sex and kissing you between words.
"i don't think anyone has ever evoked the same emotions in me as you have, love, i'm so glad i met you."
"do you feel good, baby? do you want me to speed up?"
"baby, you're squeezing me so hard, i'm afraid i'm gonna cum right now, haha."
â he has a lot of favorite positions and he wants to try them with you. i think liu kang practices tying you up, but not too much so you don't get hurt. he likes to fuck you in the missionary position and then watch you ride him fast and fall off from overstimulation.
â even though he looks like a man who likes sex in public places - he really likes it, haha. wouldn't mind pleasuring you in a restaurant restroom, massaging your cunnie while you talk to your friends and taking you on a picnic where he will lick your pussy and then sit u on his face while you gently suck his throbbing cock.
â he doesn't have a lot of kinks or on the contrary too many, i still haven't really figured it out, but he likes - dirty talk, overstimulation kink and riding kink (he likes the way your tits shake when you ride him).
â the most usual medium pace, enjoying your moment and he has no rush, you have forever ahead of you and he will still have time to thrust into you from behind with all his might and pull your hair while you forget how many orgasms you have already gone through.
â the sweetest when the time comes to take care of you after sex. he will change your bed, give you a massage and bring you anything you want. you did a good job for him and now it's his turn to take care of you.

Rooâs first england camp.

this is part of a double update. find part two here! :)
be prepared because this is a long one!
âMummy, are we there yet?â You huffed, growing impatient.Â
You hated long car rides and this one just felt like it was going on forever. Beth and Viv had received their first call-ups to international camp since coming back from their ACLs and they had decided that you would go with Beth.Â
You had travelled to the Netherlands many times to visit Vivâs family but they decided that itâd be best if you went with Beth. It was going to be your first time away from Viv and they didnât want to stress you even more by adding the hassle of travelling to another country just to travel back days later.Â
âYou getting impatient, munchkin?â Beth giggled as she sat beside you. âNot long now then weâll be there.â
You frowned, âBut itâs taking sooo long!â You whined, âI wanâ get out.â
âWhy donât you do some more colouring?â Lotte suggested, âWe could make a cool drawing if you want, Roo?â
Alessia and Lotte were travelling with you and Beth in a car that had been sent by England. You were all travelling together in a funny car, there were seats on both sides in the back of it with a man driving instead of Beth like usual.Â
You perked up at the idea and started to do a bit of colouring with Lotte while Alessia and Beth chatted with each other. After a while, the car began to slow down and you were pulling up at St Georgeâs Park.Â
Lotte and Alessia got out of the car first and grabbed their suitcases from the boot before thanking the driver and heading in. Beth unstrapped you from your car seat and took your hand, helping you jump out of the car. She grabbed your little Peppa Pig backpack and helped you with it before getting her suitcase.Â
âYou ready, munchkin?â Beth asked you, taking your hand into her while your other arm held Twix tightly.Â
You hummed and nodded your head slightly as Beth gave your hand a reassuring squeeze. Beth quickly said hello to the media lady who seemed nice before getting you inside the nice warm reception area.Â
âBeth! There you are!â You heard a voice say in front of you.Â
Beth smiled warmly as she hugged the woman, you peered out from behind her leg. You werenât sure what to do, but she knelt down to your level with a big, warm smile.
âIâm Mary. Whoâs this little one?â Mary asked, her voice gentle and kind.
âThis is my daughter, Roo,â Beth said, bending down to you. âRoo, this is Mary, one of my friends.â
You looked up at Beth, then slowly stepped forward, holding Twix tightly. âHi,â you said, your voice soft.
Mary smiled even wider. âHi Roo. Itâs so nice to meet you!â She gently tickled your stomach. âAre you excited to see Mummy play?â
You nodded, âYeah, I like football,â you said, a little more confidently.
âThatâs awesome!â Mary said. âYou know, Iâm a goalkeeper. You can watch me save lots of goals when you come to watch the match, okay?â
You nodded eagerly, your nerves starting to fade just a little.
Beth smiled proudly. âMaryâs amazing at saving goals. Youâll love watching her play!â
Just then, a tall woman walked over. âNo way youâve met Bethâs little one already!â she asked with a smile.
âYeah, this is Roo. Sheâs a bit shy, but I think sheâll warm up once she gets to know everyone,â Mary replied.
Beth smiled and introduced you to the new woman. âRoo, this is Millie, another one of my friends.â
Millie knelt down beside you, her smile kind and soft. âHi, Roo, itâs so nice to meet you!âÂ
You looked at Millie, then back at Beth. You werenât sure what to say, but you smiled shyly. âHi,â you said quietly.
âWhoâs this little teddy?â Millie asked, poking Twixâs tummy which made you laugh, âHeâs very cute! Whatâs his name?â
You clung to Beth a little tighter as you leaned into her side, her arm wrapped around you as you stood in front of her, âTwix.â You mumbled just loud enough for Millie to hear.Â
Millie gasped playfully, âThatâs such a cool name! Heâs very cute, does he like football too?â
You nodded, your fingers going to your mouth, âHis favourite player is Mummy and Mamma! You play football with Mummy too?â
Mary nodded, âWe do! We play for England with your mummy and some others. Have you met them yet?â You shook your head and Mary gasped, âWould you like me to take you to meet them?â
You looked up at Beth, unsure. âWhat do you think, munchkin? Want to meet some of Mummyâs friends?â
You hesitated for a moment but then nodded slowly. Beth smiled and kissed your forehead. Mary held out her hand, and after a moment, you reached out to take it. She led the way down the hallway, with Beth walking beside you and Millie following close behind.Â
She took you into a large lounge filled with lots of people you didnât recognise. âMary, up please?â You mumbled as you grew more anxious.Â
Mary crouched down immediately, her smile soft and understanding. âOf course, Roo,â she said gently, scooping you up into her arms. She held you securely, letting you rest your head against her shoulder. âYouâre okay. Weâll take it slow.â
Beth rubbed your back soothingly, âMummyâs right here, munchkin. You donât have to talk to everyone all at once.â
Mary began to walk around the room slowly, pointing out a few people and introducing them without overwhelming you. âThatâs Keira over there,â she said, gesturing to a woman sitting on a couch. âSheâs really nice and super good at football. Do you want to say hi?â
You shook your head and hid your face in Maryâs shoulder. âNot yet,â you mumbled.
Mary nodded, unfazed. âThatâs okay, Roo. Maybe later.â
After a few minutes she stopped, âThis is Lucy,â Mary said. âSheâs really kind and funny but not as funny as me! I think youâll like her.â
Mary held you securely in her arms. You felt a little safer with her, still clutching Twix, but your nerves started to ease. Lucy gave you a big smile.Â
âHi, Roo,â she said gently. âIâve heard so much about you from your Mummy. Whoâs this?â she asked, pointing to your teddy.
You held Twix a little tighter. âTwix. He likes football.â
Lucy gasped playfully. âNo way! Does Twix have a favourite player?â
You looked up at Beth, then whispered, âMummy and Mamma.â
Beth smiled warmly and patted your back. âThatâs right, sweetie. Twix loves watching Mummy and Mamma play for Arsenal doesnât he, munchkin?â
Lucy laughed softly. âWell, Twix is definitely a smart teddy! I think we should make him an honorary member of the team. What do you think?â
You smiled shyly, feeling a little more comfortable. âOkay,â you said, nodding.
Mary bounced you lightly in her arms, making you giggle. âYouâre doing great, Roo. Lucyâs super fun, isnât she?â
You glanced up at Mary, then back at Lucy. âAre you funny too?â
Lucy raised an eyebrow and leaned closer. âIâm the funniest, but Maryâs not as funny, of course.â
You giggled at Lucyâs playful teasing, âI think youâre both funny,â you said with a smile, making everyone laugh.
Mary set you down gently and took your hand again, leading you toward a group of women who were chatting and laughing in the corner. âHow about we meet a few more friends?â she asked softly.
You nodded, squeezing Twix a little tighter as you followed her. Mary took you round to meet a few more of the lionesses before you grew overwhelmed and Beth took you upstairs to your hotel room.Â
Sarina had kindly arranged for Beth to have her own hotel room so she didnât have to share. It had two beds but Beth knew that youâd end up in her bed at some point.Â
After spending a few hours relaxing in your hotel room, it was time to head to dinner. Youâd had a little nap and Beth had just woken you up so you were feeling a little grumpy.Â
You were sat with Mary, Millie, Alessia, Grace and Ella however you were slouched in your seat refusing to touch your dinner. You stared at your plate, fidgeting with the fork. The food looked fine, but nothing felt right. You werenât hungry, or maybe it was just everything around you. The room felt loud, even though everyone was chatting quietly.
âMunchkin, you okay?â Beth asked gently.Â
You crossed your arms tightly over your chest, looking down at the plate of food in front of you. The smell was nice, but everything just felt too much, too new, too big, too loud.
âI donât want it,â you mumbled, shaking your head. The noise of everyone chatting around you felt far away, and you just wanted to be back in your room, safe and snug with Twix.
Beth looked at you, her smile soft but with a knowing look. She leaned closer and gently ran her hand over your hair. âHey, munchkin, why donât you give it a try?â she asked, âItâs your favourite, remember?â
You shook your head again, pushing the plate slightly away. âAlright, Iâll get you something else, okay? What do you think?â
You hesitated, then glanced up at her, still clutching Twix. You werenât sure what to do, but the idea of having something else, something different, felt a little bit better. Maybe this new food was just too⌠much.
âOkay,â you whispered, your voice barely audible.
Beth smiled warmly and stood up, brushing your hair back from your face. âAlright, sweetheart, Iâll get you something else.â
While she went to speak with the chef, you hugged Twix tighter, while Alessia kept an eye on you. When she returned, she had a small plate of something you liked. Cheese sandwiches cut into fun shapes. You smiled as she set it in front of you.
Beth sat down next to you, and without a word, she pulled you onto her lap, her arms wrapping around you like a cosy blanket. You nibbled at the sandwich, still a little grumpy, but it tasted just right.Â
After a few bites, you sighed contentedly, resting your head on her shoulder. âThank you, Mummy,â you mumbled softly.Â
Beth kissed the top of your head. âYouâre welcome, munchkin. I know itâs a lot, but youâre doing great.â
By the time you were done eating, it was getting late, and the exhaustion from the busy day started to catch up with you. As you finished, you yawned, feeling sleepy and overwhelmed by everything.
âCâmon my little munchkin,â Beth laughed as you trailed behind her tiredly, holding her hand out, âWeâre almost there then we can get you into bed, how does that sound eh?â
You didnât want to walk another step. You flopped onto the floor, crossing your arms tightly over your chest. âAnd what are you doing down there, munchkin?â Beth said as she walked back to you.Â
âNot walk anymore, mummy! Mâtired.â You pouted, lying down on the floor.Â
âNot walking anymore?â Beth said with a laugh as she leaned over you, âDo you want mummy to carry you?â You nodded with a little pout.Â
Beth sighed softly as she knelt down and carefully scooped you up, cradling you against her chest.Â
âAlright, alright, no more walking,â she murmured, pressing a kiss to your forehead. âLetâs get you settled in so you can sleep, okay?â
Beth carried you down the hallway, her footsteps slow and steady as she whispered soft reassurances to you. âJust a little more, and weâll be in bed before you know it. Youâre doing great, munchkin.â
Once back in the room, Beth set you on the bed, crouching to your level as she pulled out your pyjamas from the suitcase. They were a soft and fluffy pair with little stars and moons. âAlright, munchkin, letâs get these on and get you into bed, yeah?â
You frowned the moment you saw them. âNo!â you shouted, kicking your legs against the bed. âI donât wanna wear those!â
Beth crouched down in front of you with a concerned but calm expression, holding your little starry pyjamas. âOh dear,â she murmured, tilting her head to get a better look at you as you flopped dramatically on the bed. âWhatâs going on here? You were so excited to wear these jammies before, werenât you, munchkin?â
You pouted, tears streaming down your cheeks as you kicked your legs. âDonâ like em! Theyâre scratchy and stupid!â
Beth gasped softly, âScratchy and stupid? Oh no, we canât have that. But I bet we can figure something out together, canât we? What do you reckon eh?â
You huffed, âI donât want pyjamas!â you wailed, your cheeks flushed pink with frustration.
Beth nodded, still crouched at your level. âHmm, no pyjamas at all? That doesnât sound very comfy for bed, does it? Youâll get cold! But⌠what if I told you I have something super special just for you?â
You peeked at her through your tears, curiosity winning for a moment. âWhat is it?â
âWell,â Beth said, âI think Iâve got a t-shirt that smells just like Mamma! And itâs so soft, even Twix would want to wear it. Should we check it out? Donât tell Mamma but itâs one I stole from her!â
You sniffled, still frowning, but your sobs had quieted a little. âMaybeâŚâ
Beth smiled warmly. âMaybe? Thatâs my munchkin. Letâs see what weâve got here.â She grabbed one of her oversized t-shirts from her suitcase that originally belonged to Viv and held it up like it was the most magical thing in the world. âLook at this! What do you think?â
Your little hands reached out to touch the fabric, and you nodded slowly. âI wanâ that.â
âOf course, sweetheart,â Beth said, helping you into the shirt gently. âSee? Much better, huh? I knew weâd figure it out.â
You clutched the hem of the shirt, your frown starting to fade. Beth leaned forward, brushing a stray tear off your cheek. âNow whereâs my smiley baby gone? I couldâve sworn she was here just a minute ago.â
You sniffled, a tiny smile creeping onto your face. âMâstill here, just tired!â you said softly.
âThereâs my superstar,â Beth said with a grin, pressing a kiss to your forehead. âNow letâs get you ready for bed. We canât have you frowning, can we? Youâll get wrinkles! Shall we brush your teeth?â
Your mood shifted in an instant again. You sat up, clutching Twix tightly and shaking your head furiously. âNo! I donât wanna brush my teeth!â you whined, as your bottom lip quivered.
Beth crouched down again, staying calm and patient despite the tears already forming in your eyes. âWhy donât you want to brush your teeth, munchkin? Theyâll feel all nice and sparkly afterwards.â
You huffed and kicked your foot against the mattress. âI donât like toothpaste! It yucky!â
Beth nodded. âYucky, huh? Thatâs not good at all. But you need to keep them clean, theyâll go yucky if not!â
You shook your head but stayed firm. âI donât care! No brushing!â
Beth sighed softly, sitting on the edge of the bed. âOkay, munchkin, how about this? We donât have to do it right now. Letâs just take a little break, yeah? Come here.â
You hesitated, still pouting, but Beth held her arms open, and eventually, you crawled into her lap, snuggling close as you clutched Twix. She wrapped her arms around you, rocking you gently. âThere we go. Thatâs better, isnât it?â
You sniffled, burying your face in her chest. âMummyâŚâ
Beth rubbed your back soothingly. âYou know who we should call? Mamma. What do you think? I bet sheâd love to say goodnight to her munchkin.â
Your eyes lit up at the mention of Viv, âMamma?â you repeated softly, already calming down.
âYeah,â Beth said, pulling her phone from her pocket. âLetâs call her and see what sheâs up to eh? Letâs hope Aunite Vic isnât being a pest!â
Within moments, the phone was ringing, and Vivâs face appeared on the screen. âHi, liefje,â Vivâs voice greeted warmly. âWhatâs this? Youâre still awake?â
âMamma!â you exclaimed, the last of your tantrum melting away as you reached for the phone. Beth held it up so you could see Viv properly.
âHi, munchkin,â Viv said with a smile. âWhy do you look so tired, huh? You being a little monkey?â
Beth kissed the top of your head. âJust a tiny monkey, Mamma. Weâre having some strong opinions about pyjamas and toothpaste tonight.â
Viv raised an eyebrow playfully. âOh, really? Are you being stubborn, liefje?â
You giggled, feeling much better. âMaybeâŚâ
âWell, I think you should listen to Mummy,â Viv said gently. âSheâs very smart, you know.â
Beth smiled, whispering, âHear that? Mamma thinks Iâm smart.â
You snuggled closer to Beth, feeling safe and loved. âOkay, Mamma,â you mumbled. âIâll try.â
âThatâs munchkin,â Viv said, âNow go get ready for bed yeah? Goodnight, liefje. I love you.â
âLove you too, Mamma,â you said softly.
You talked for a little bit longer, catching up with Viv about her day before Beth ended the call and kissed your forehead again. âSee? That wasnât so hard. Ready to try brushing those teeth now?â
You nodded sleepily. âOkay, Mummy.â
Beth grinned. âThatâs my superstar.â
The next morning, you woke up snuggled close to Beth, Twix still clutched tightly in your arms. It was a rough night for both you and Beth and she felt like she was running off of thin air. Youâd woken up multiple times through the night, crying about wanting to go home.Â
It broke Bethâs heart a little that sheâd dragged you all the way to the England camp but she knew youâd be better in England for your first time away from home properly. It had been a rough night for you both and Beth was just praying that youâd take a nap or two so you wouldnât be as grumpy.Â
Beth smiled down at you as she brushed a strand of hair out of your face. âGood morning, munchkin,â she said softly.
You nodded, still a little sleepy, and tucked your face into her chest. âMmhmm.â
When it was time to head to breakfast, you stayed glued to Bethâs side, holding her hand tightly as you made your way to the dining hall. You spotted some of the other England girls youâd met yesterday chatting and laughing, but you hid behind Bethâs leg, feeling shy.
âItâs okay, Roo,â Beth said reassuringly, rubbing your back. âTheyâre all really nice. Lessi and Lotte are here.â
You peeked around her leg, nodding slightly. âYeahâŚâ
âAnd youâve met Mary and Millie yesterday,â Beth added, gesturing to her close friends sitting at the table.
Mary noticed you hiding and gave you a warm smile. âMorning, Roo,â she said gently, waving a little. âYou coming to sit with us?â
You hesitated, looking up at Beth for reassurance. She crouched down to your level and smoothed your hair. âHow about we sit together, hmm? Iâll be right here with you. You can sit on my lap if you want.
You nodded, and Beth guided you to the table. You stayed quiet, nibbling on a piece of toast while Beth chatted with Mary and Millie as you sat on her lap. Occasionally, they tried to include you in the conversation, but you only mumbled short answers, still feeling too shy.
When it was time for training, you clung to Bethâs hand tightly. âNo, Mummy,â you whined, your little voice breaking. âDonât go!â
Beth crouched down, holding your hands in hers. âRoo, I have to train, remember? But guess what? Sarinaâs found some special jobs for you to do while Iâm on the pitch. Doesnât that sound fun!â
You shook your head, tears welling up in your eyes. âI wanâ stay with you!â
Sarina approached with a kind smile, crouching down beside Beth. âGood morning, Rory,â she said softly. âDo you think you can help me today? I need a big helper like you to make sure everything runs smoothly!â
You glanced at Beth uncertainly, still sniffling. Beth gave you an encouraging smile. âRoo, youâd be so good at helping. Iâll be able to see you from the pitch, okay? And Iâll come check on you every now and then!â
Reluctantly, you nodded, letting Sarina take your hand. She led you to the sidelines and crouched down beside you, âNow Rory, I need you to help me today okay? I need you to make sure the girls are doing a good job and have their water bottles. Can you do that for me?â
You fiddled with Twixâs soft ear, âLike being bossy?â
Sarina chuckled softly, âYes, a little bit like being bossy, but in a helpful way. Youâll be my assistant coach, okay? A very important job.â
You glanced back at Beth, who was giving you an encouraging nod from a few feet away. âOkayâŚâ you mumbled shyly, clutching Twix a little tighter.
âThatâs my girl,â Beth said, giving you a quick kiss on the head before jogging off to join the other players.
Sarina handed you a small clipboard and a pen. âHere you go, Coach Roo. You can make notes if you see anything important, or just draw if you want!â
Sarina handed you the clipboard and crouched down beside you. âAlright, Coach Roo,â she said, âHereâs your first job, keep an eye on everyone and make sure theyâre working hard. If someone is slacking, you write it down, okay?â
You tilted your head, clutching Twix tightly in one hand and the clipboard in the other. âWhat if theyâre really slacking?â
Sarina smiled. âThen you tell me right away. But remember, weâre here to help them do their best, so weâre kind, even when weâre bossy.â
You nodded, still unsure but a little excited about the responsibility.
As the training session began, you stayed close to Sarina, your eyes darting between the players on the pitch and the clipboard in your hands. The other coaches gave you friendly smiles as they passed, and you started to feel a bit more important.
âCoach Roo,â Sarina said after a while, âcan you check the water bottles? Make sure theyâre all full so the girls donât get thirsty.â
You walked over to the bottles lined up on the sideline, carefully shaking each one. You picked up one that felt lighter than the others and held it up. âThis oneâs almost empty!â
Sarina nodded seriously. âGood catch, Roo. Can you refill it for me?â
You nodded eagerly and followed one of the staff members to the cooler. After filling the bottle, you marched back to Sarina proudly. âAll done!â
âGreat work,â Sarina said with a smile. âNow, letâs make sure everyone stays hydrated. Can you carry the bottles around and give them to the players when they take a break?â
You grabbed the water bottle crate with both hands, Sarina chuckled and helped you steady it. âCareful, Roo. Youâve got this.â
When Beth jogged over during a water break, you were ready. You handed her a bottle like a professional, âHere you go, Mummy. You need to stay hydrayâŚhydrated!â
Beth grinned, crouching down to your level. âThanks, munchkin. Youâre the best assistant coach Iâve ever had.â She kissed the top of your head, making you giggle.
Once the break was over, Sarina gave you your next task. âAlright, Roo, now weâre working on drills. I need you to help set up these cones in a straight line, okay?â
You nodded, taking the cones she handed you. You carefully placed them one by one, making sure they were evenly spaced.Â
When the cones were set, you ran back to Sarina. âAll done!â
âExcellent work,â she said, clapping her hands together. âYouâre a natural at this, Rory.â
Throughout the session, you stayed busy, running little errands, handing out bibs, and occasionally sitting next to Sarina, mimicking her as she took notes. By the time training ended, you felt like a real part of the team.
When Beth came off the pitch, she scooped you up into her arms. âHowâs my little coach? Did you keep everyone in line?â
You nodded enthusiastically. âI was the boss, Mummy!â
Beth laughed, pressing a kiss to your forehead. âI bet you were!â
By the evening of your second day, you were feeling a little more settled. You were in the lounge area with Beth, sitting on her lap while she talked to some of the girls. Across the room, you spotted Lauren Hemp sitting on the floor with Esme Morgan, a pile of LEGO spread out between them.
Your eyes lit up at the sight. âMummy, theyâre doing LEGO!â you whispered excitedly.
Beth looked over and smiled. âThey are! Do you want to go join them?â
You hesitated, clutching Twix tightly. âMaybeâŚâ
Beth nudged you gently. âGo on, munchkin. I bet theyâd love to have you help.â
Slowly, you slid off her lap and made your way over to Lauren and Esme. Lauren noticed you and grinned. âHey, Roo! Want to help us build?â
You nodded shyly, sitting down beside her on your knees. Esme handed you a handful of bricks. âWeâre building a castle. What do you think? Want to help with the walls?â
As you started to piece together the LEGO bricks, you felt a little more at ease. âIâve done LEGO before,â you said softly. âWith Monkey anâ buddy!â
âWow with Monkey, huh? That sounds fun!â Esme said, encouraging you to keep going.
Not long after, Grace Clinton joined the group. She sat down beside you and grinned. âWhatâs this? A castle? Looks like you're the master builder here, Roo!â
You giggled, warming up to her quickly. âIâm helping with the walls!â
âYouâre doing an awesome job,â Grace said, tickling you playfully. âWant to race me to see who can build their wall faster?â
Before long, you and Grace were giggling and chatting away. Once the castle was finished, Grace stood up and tapped your shoulder. âTag, youâre it!â
You squealed with delight and took off after her, chasing her up and down the hallway. Your laughter echoed through the halls, drawing the attention of a few other players who smiled fondly at the sight of you running after Grace.
Your little feet pounded down the hallway as you chased Grace, who was darting back and forth, her playful energy matching yours perfectly. âYou canât catch me, Roo!â she called over her shoulder.Â
âYes, I can!â you shouted, determination in your voice. Twix was now clutched under your arm like a little companion.Â
Grace slowed down just enough to let you catch her leg, and she dramatically pretended to trip. âOh no, sheâs got me! The fastest Roo in the world!â she cried, throwing her hands up in surrender.
You clung to her leg, giggling uncontrollably. âGotcha!â
She crouched down to your level, still grinning. âAlright, your turn to run. Iâm cominâ for ya now!â
You shrieked in excitement and bolted down the hallway, Twix bouncing in your grip as Grace chased after you. Beth appeared at the edge of the lounge, leaning against the doorway with a smile as she watched you play.
âGrace, youâre going to wear her out before bedtime,â Beth teased, though she didnât seem too worried.
âDonât worry, Beffy,â Grace replied, stopping to catch her breath dramatically. âI think Rooâs wearing me out!â
You ran back to Beth, hiding behind her legs, your face flushed and your breath coming in happy little gasps. âMummy, save me!â
Beth laughed, scooping you up into her arms. âAlright, alright, Rooâs under my protection now,â she teased, pressing a kiss to your forehead. âI think itâs time to wind down, donât you?â
âI chased Grace!â you exclaimed, wrapping your arms around Bethâs neck.
Beth kissed your forehead. âYouâve had a big day, havenât you? Ready to head to bed?â
You nodded sleepily, resting your head on her shoulder. âOkay, Mummy.â
Beth smiled as she gently carried you toward the bedroom, your little arms still wrapped around her neck. Grace waved as you passed, âNight, Roo!â she called.Â
âNight, Gracie!â you mumbled, your voice barely above a whisper.
âI love you, Mummy.â
âI love you too, Roo,â Beth replied softly, brushing her fingers over your hair as she carried you up to your hotel room.Â

Details I've noticed about Arthur Morgan Part 2 cuz you guys seem to be devouring the first one đđź :
- Him and Dutch share the same sense of humor- dry, sarcastic, and usually at another's expense.
- However, both Arthur and Dutch get really annoyed whenever they direct that same humor to eachother.
-When Dutch and Arthur quick draw, they both turn their bodies to make them a smaller target. They are the only ones in the gang that do this in idle animation.
- Arthur's journal is filled with many half done, not fully rendered drawings. Some pages have one small drawing on them and are then skipped over. Other drawings are just shapes and strokes that represent the schema of an animal or person. It's very realistic to an actual sketchbook and not the Pinterest dream sketchbook.
- Arthur, prior to Hosea's death and Micah overturning his position as Dutch's right hand man, is always there whenever a big decision is being there and is asked for feedback too. Arthur isn't just a member of the VDL gang, he's a leader of it too and people seem to forget that.
- Arthur is very emotionally tough and when I mean very, I mean VERY. He doesn't cry when Sean dies, someone he considered like a little brother. He doesn't cry when Lenny dies, someone he probably saw as a son. He doesn't cry when Hosea dies, someone he saw as a father figure. Of course, they were all in high stress situations that could've stopped an emotional reaction, but even later when he can process things, he doesn't cry.
- There is one time in the game where we see Arthur tear up from emotional pain and that is when he speaks to the nun about his life and what he could've had. Still though, he doesn't cry. It says a lot about him.
- In the final journal entry, though, we see a splotch next to the entry on the empty left page that looks like a tear drop. Take that as you will.
- Arthur's hand writing becomes much more spaced out, messy, and words will be scribbled out more often the sicker he gets. Shakey hands.
- He's very witty and quick with insults, like fascinatingly quick.
- He is pretty intelligent but does allow others to dumb him down like Hosea- as the gang's strongman, this could be so the people they work with would put more emphasis on Arthur's strength so he can be more intimidating.
- The picture that Jack gives Arthur has the male figure wearing a black gambler hat like Arthur and John didn't wear a hat in chapter two. Jack probably saw Arthur as his father figure during that point, not John.
- Does want Jack to learn responsibility ("About time you started to earn your keep" "You got to stick at things, Jack") , but he's very kind, patient, and reasonable considering how young the kid was.
- He doesn't let women carry their luggage if he can do it for them (Mary, the nun)
- He's casually mean or teasing to the younger men and generally polite to the women but he will go off on them in the same way if they anger him enough.
- I wish he was a real person
- I'd like to drink a beer with him
- For I love him â¤ď¸

I need to be salty for a hot second about people who are upset about aspects of Lucanis' romance.
I'll put everything else under the break for spoilers, but in general, I am so disappointed in a large portion of this fanbase who apparently thought "disaster" meant "romantasy," but also it's in keeping with how a lot of people seem unable to put things in context.
One of the complaints I keep seeing run past is that the scene where you commit to a relationship with Lucanis seems pefunctory, or out of the blue, there's nothing really romantic about it, it's too similar to the platonic route, etc, etc, ETC.
I romanced Emmrich, but I've seen other people's versions of romancing Lucanis. I'm just going to kind of word vomit here, and hope I can come up with something cohesive.
As someone who id's with Lucanis for "generational abuse" and "dumpster fire disaster bi" and "using socially acceptable drugs as coping mechanisms in place of addressing your problems" reasons, it's been really fucking annoying watching the almost deliberate misinterpretation of his character even after Mary Kirby dropped several explanations on social media. It's like a large part of the fanbase saw all that and turned into the "yes yes, very sad...anyway!" meme and went right on fetishizing him...then got mad when he didn't turn into the seductive Dom with wings they were hoping for.
You commit to Lucanis after (what I consider) a very intense scene inside his "mind prison." He's struggling so much internally that Spite wrests control of his body from him in front of witnesses and begs Rook to help them. Lucanis would never ask Rook to do so on his own, he's terrible at asking for the help he truly needs. Spite drags Rook into the Fade Ossuary and demands they free Lucanis from his self-imposed prison. And whether you're a friend or would-be lover, Rook slowly talks Lucanis out of a host of self doubts regarding his family and friends. Can he trust himself not to hurt other people, now that he's saddled with this affliction? Has he disappointed the people he cares about most? Do these new people he's coming to care about actually trust and care about him? The rooms are filled with fragmented thoughts that peter out into regrets. You're literally seeing Lucanis' fractured and complicated emotions.
One of them tore a hole straight through me: "You'd have to kill me...And Spite would die."
You'd have to kill him to get rid of the demon. And he'd regret the death of the demon that's protected him and given him strength, through a brutal year of betrayal and torment. I don't know if y'all remember the scenes in the Ossuary of the failed experiments and the corpses you had to pass to get to his jar of blood. It wasn't fun.
When you break out of the mind prison after helping him bond with Spite, it's intimate and momentous, even on a platonic route. You've seen desperate and lonely parts of him he'd never willingly show anyone.
As you're convincing Lucanis that it's okay to leave his mind-prison, you tell him you understand that it's easier to deal with problems like the Ossuary and Zara than healing and living with Spite, potentially hurting people he cares about. But he wants to. It's Rook's job to help him see a path out, a way for him to make the struggle easier so he can begin to heal himself.
I need to stress: you aren't "fixing" him. You're acting as his lighthouse, regardless of whether you're a friend or a lover. Sometimes people need help. He's still going to have to do the work to get there.
As a friend, it was extremely rewarding to come back to the kitchen and see him doing exactly as I'd hoped: moving on with the business of *living*. He made a nice dinner for everyone he's come to care for, and a special dessert for Neve. Cooking is where Lucanis finds creativity, and comfort, and connection with his friends and family. He isn't very good with words, but he will note everything you consume, and try to make you feel loved by expressing it that way.
Which is why I think it's important you don't dismiss the commitment on the romantic route. He remembers YOUR favorite drink and makes YOU a special dessert if you're romancing him. Lucanis isn't going to get poetic. You've already made him feel raw. You've seen the ugly, embarassing parts of him. What is he supposed to say? Usually it takes Spite reaching through his body to actually be direct. Instead, Lucanis reaches for food, his favorite medium, to try and apologize for inadvertently showing you those things, to thank you for helping him despite seeing what he considers the most shameful parts of him. Your commitment is letting him know that you value him, that he has nothing to be ashamed of, that you understand what he's trying to express with his struggling communication skills, which appear to get better as your relationship progresses from there.
It's weird that some of y'all don't feel that this is heartfelt and important, because you'd rather him act out some sensuous fantasy trope. It's also weird that some of you haven't figured out that many scenes in RPG's can be similar on platonic and romantic routes with tweaks to shade context.
(Also just in case this comes up: cooking is not his "love language" - that whole concept was invented by a misogynistic weirdo and we should remove it from our ideas of communication)
Anyway, this guy is my Rook's bestie and I'll go down swinging for him, you should appreciate the fuck out of him and stop acting like his writer didn't craft a perfectly funny little weirdo who is bad at showing people his tender parts and terrible at interpersonal relationships.

7 ways to reprogram your subconscious mind đ

learning to control your subconscious mind is a critical component of lifelong success. your subconscious mind influences your habits and behaviors, and is basically the reason of why you are who you are today. hereâs 7 ways to successfully reprogram and control your subconscious for the better:
positive affirmations. repeat affirmations each day like, âi am not my past. each day is a new day to start fresh.â âi am aligned with the frequency of growth and favor.â âi welcome abundance into my life.â or âi am no longer available for struggle, i only welcome success.â these positive affirmations transform your mindset and help to overcome negative beliefs. repeating affirmations daily can reinforce positive energy and boost self confidence within. focus on aligning your thoughts with positive outcomes!
visualization. the more you visualize your mindâs eye and accept an event or achievement as a potential reality, the more easily your subconscious mind will align with the behaviors towards achieving that reality. spend time each day in visualization for a minimum of 10 minutes, thinking as your dream self. it is very helpful to use your five senses to guide you. think thoughts like what fragrance is my dream self wearing?, what kind of breakfast does my dream self have?, or what does my dream self spend time doing?
subliminal audios and videos. try 30 minutes each day for at least 4 weeks. it is highly recommended to listen to these audios first thing in the morning or when you lay your head down at night. subliminal videos are available on youtube from a wide range of creators, but i highly suggest listening to âMary Kateâ or âLisa Alexandraâ. these videos offer several benefits that improve aspects of your life. these include, targeting your subconscious mind and reinforcing positive beliefs, reducing stress, bettering emotional wellbeing, and improving mental clarity.
meditation. including meditation in your daily routine is a valuable tool to controlling your subconscious mind. there are many ways to effectively practice meditation such as, mindfulness meditation by focusing on your breath, mantra meditation by using affirmations, movement meditation with yoga, visualization meditation by imagining a desired reality vividly using all 5 senses, body scan meditation by imagining a gentle wave flowing through your body, or spiritual meditation by talking to a higher power. choose which feels most comfortable to you.
controlling your will and habits. move beyond what you know and adapt good habits. do what is fulfilling to your soul and avoid what is draining to your body. read a new book each month, eat healthier, let go of bitterness. do not act on negative thoughts or lazy mindsets. intentionally choose each day to do what is right such as, expressing gratitude before complaining or showing compassion instead of judgement. each step in the right direction counts!
auto suggestions. consciously tell yourself that you will commit to something or accomplish a goal. positive statements, repetition and visualization is the key to achieving a successful outcome. use statements such as, âI will wake up early.â âI will put myself first.â âI will work towards becoming the best me I can be.â
talk to a higher power. aim to be open and connect daily with God, Allah, the Universe, etc. and have faith that you are being supported and loved no matter what. life is always working for you and with you, never against you. by investing in a higher power with good intentions, you can be healed, calm and balanced in your mind and life. each personâs experience is unique but we all need guidance.
overall, having a healthy subconscious mind is a great way to attract the life you desire and deserve. by intentionally following the right steps and staying on the right path, there is no way you can fail. i wish all of us the best success that aligns with our minds in the most beautiful ways! đ¤

You Might Think It's Foolish
prompt: meeting your boyfriend's family for the first time creates anxiety, so, you stick to his side. at dinner, his mother calls out your clinginess - and Aemond doesn't defend you. or when someone else calls you clingy and he doesn't defend you / agrees with them.
pairing: modern!Aemond Targaryen x female!reader
fandom masterlist: House of the Dragon
collection masterlist: Clingy Baby collection masterlist: Poisoned Apple
word count: 3.1k+
warnings: short and to the point, angst, hurt and no comfort, drama, relationship angst, stand alone, cursing, toxic family, toxic relationship...? barely edited, author's tired of her drafts.
Fall. Autumn. A time of shedding the old and preparing for the new. Perhaps that was why this happened - the universe was trying to shed what was unwelcome in your life. Yet you wouldn't see it this way for several long months.
The trees grew over the winding backroads in a curved canopy; creating a golden tunnel for visitors to pass through on their way to remote destinations. You were no exception, cruising at a leisure speed while taking slow, deep breaths to attempt to soak in the beauty autumn in the Northern Hemisphere brought. It was impossible not to feel enraptured by the serenity of the country roads, music set so you could hear it but still have a conversation if you wanted.
Your passenger princess told you it was the next right.
"I can't believe we're late," you whispered, sighing in strained stress. "This is a horrible first impression, Aemond."
"We won't even be the latest," he smirked.
"Doesn't matter, it's still rude to show up when the party's already started."
"We were busy."
"You were getting a new tattoo," you deadpanned.
"Exactly as I said - busy. And you got your third ear piercing, so, I don't want t'hear it."
You swallowed, making the right turn. "That's the house?" You gawked.
"Mhm," he gazed out his window, "welcome to the Targaryen Manor, princess."
"I forget you're from old money," you muttered, finding a suitable parking space and pulling in. You gathered your belongings, including the flowers from the backseat you insisted on bringing for his mother, and vacate the car.
"You're gonna be fine," Aemond smirked, tossing his arm around your neck as you moved up the walkway. "Just be yourself, laugh at their jokes - you'll fit right in."
"I feel like I can't even afford to be here," you whispered, approaching the front door. He chuckled and took your hand, letting you squeeze it tight as he opened the door and lead you inward. "Jesus, Mary Mother, and Joseph," you gaped, eyes bugging wide as the interior.
The term "fancy" didn't even begin to cover it.
And Aemond just smirked at you, amused by your response; knowing your family grew up without money and the nicest thing you owned for years was a Wii that had been purchased from a family-friend for a third of the price. So to see you here, amongst luxury and money, was an absolute treasure to him.
However, that was short lived, because the next thing you noticed was the amount of people milling around. There was at least 13 different people in sight, and for some reason, you knew there was likely many, many more. Aemond lead you into the kitchen, and from there, you could barely keep up.
First, you met his mother, Alicent. She was a kind woman, but stoic and calculating; observant with a quick wit. She intimidated you, made you feel small, burned you under her stare; and since you were dating her favorite child, you knew she was scrutinizing you. You felt desperate for her approval, and when you offered her the large bouquet of flowers, she actually let her lips twitch in a small smile. She thanked your generosity and consideration, making you feel like you had some kind of breakthrough with her.
When Alicent went to put the flowers in water, Aemond assured he thought his mother "adored" you before introducing you to his father - the birthday boy. He was sweet; soft spoken and bright-eyed; all too happy to have a conversation with you. He asked how you and Aemond met, then what you were studying in university, if you liked it, what you wanted to do with your degree. He asked what food was your favorite, if you played sports, about your family, and if you had any hobbies. Viserys Targaryen had a kind soul, making you wonder how he and Alicent remained married.
Though they say opposites attract.
Aemond showed you around the house, stopping to introduce family members; then heading to the backyard where you were drug around to meet the hundred other family members. You were close to tears the whole time, knowing it was his father's birthday, but not knowing how bloody big his fucking family was - and that they'd all show up today. You felt blindsided, it felt like a deliberate withholding of information to convince you to come. You were under the impression it was a family dinner, but now, you understood, it was an actual celebration.
There was people everywhere you looked, everywhere you turned. Voices spoke over one another, children ran around playing tag or jumping on a trampoline; babies cried and screamed, the grill was loud with sizzling meats, and a radio played through intermittent static. Multiple dogs ran around, trailing mud everywhere, even going as far as to shake their coats out to shower bystanders. The smell of charcoal, smoke, and chlorine mingled with that tangy-good scent of BBQ; but it made your eyes sting.
It was a sensory overload.
It was a miracle you hadn't burst into tears yet, but you remained anchored to reality by maintaining a close proximity to Aemond.
You held his hand in a vice grip. You held his bicep with a curled-grip that left fingernail indentations in his skin through the fabric. You held his waist, belt loops, anything you could grab onto in a possessive grip. You constantly touched him to reassure yourself he was still with you; being your anchor to reality, tangible and real since your anxiety drowned you in a sea.
You didn't think it was an issue. Didn't think anyone would notice, so you obviously didn't think anyone would care if they DID notice. You liked touching Aemond, it kept you grounded; if someone had an issue with that, it was 100% just a personal problem. However, plenty of people did notice, and when you sat down for dinner, you were unprepared for the ambush.
Conversation was flowing; food passed around and utensils scraped plates. Drinks sweat into the table cloth, citronella candles twinkled, and laughter was in an abundance as each person found merriment in their family. You were feeling more relaxed, but the truth was, there was so many people here that you felt nauseous enough to only take a few small bites from your plate.
Aemond noticed and met your eyes, subtly opening his hand to you in an offer for comfort. You all but snatched his hand into yours, smiling in thanks as he only smirked broadly and continued eating. You tried to sample what you could, but it was impossible to stomach much of anything. You reached for your water, took a sip, and heard Alicent question your name.
When she had your attention, Alicent asked, "Have you had many boyfriends, dear?"
"Oh, no," you answered honestly, "no, I've gone on dates but Aemond's," you laid your free hand to his bicep, sliding down to take his hand with yours, "my first boyfriend."
She hummed and stabbed her fork into the salad set in front of her, muttering in a lower tone, "Then I guess I can overlook it all."
You cocked your head, setting your glass down, wondering, "Overlook what?"
"The clinginess," she shrugged, reaching for her wine glass. "You've been stuck to his side all day - never even parting to go to the restroom, it seems. So, because he's your first, I can overlook all this... For now."
Your head began to spin like in a bad cartoon. You felt your heart cement and drop to your stomach; throat swelling to suppress either sobs, vomit, or both. The entire table was quiet. "I-I'm sorry, Mrs. Targaryen," you offered in confusion. "I'm sorry if I've offended you, but it's not with malicious intent."
"No?" She mocked.
"No," your head shook vehemently. "I did not realize my actions could be interpreted negatively, and I assume you, it was not my intention to create tension."
"Oh, spare me. You haven't let go of Aemond once all night, and even now, as we all sit for family dinner, you hold his hand hostage; preventing you both from eating. Don't you think he'd like to spend time with his family without needing to make you feel included in every single thing he does or says today?"
You gulped, "I did not mean to offend you nor your family."
"It's not offensive," Helaena Targaryen, Aemond's only sister, tried to intervene. "If you feel uncomfortable in any situation, why not seek out that in which you already know helps comfort you?"
How had it come to this?
"I am not offended," Viserys croaked, "I find young love refreshing."
But this made Alicent rage, "It is offensive when you prevent Aemond from actually visiting with his family. It's his father's birthday for God's sake! We don't have an infinite number of them left! If you want to hang all over him when you're at university, fine, but when you're here? In public? Around family or elders? It's not acceptable behavior, especially when you prevent my son from participating as a member of this family."
Your mouth went dry as you remembered your parents did not raise you to ever tolerate disrespect. If someone offered insult, sure, walk away, but they also taught you to stand up for yourself in particular fights. This felt like one of those fights.
There were also vivid memories long since repressed that flashed you back to your own parents telling you, you were clingy. They didn't want you hanging off them, distracting anyone, being an overall nuisance; so they started fighting your fire with their own. They became verbally aggressive, constantly ridiculing and belittling you; attempting to keep you humble by insulting your character - saying nobody (be it man or woman) would want someone like you. Your baggage was too heavy and you knew it, your parents telling you it was why you felt the need to cling in the first place.
If you held on tight enough, the weight of your trauma would eventually anchor your person in place. It'd be too late to swim away once that anchor sunk.
You looked at Aemond, thinking he'd tell his mother to quiet down, but he never did. He just stared at the table, so, you tossed his hand into his lap - feeling disgusting by his physical touch right now.
It was evident he wasn't going to defend you, so, you defended yourself, "I know you might think it foolish, but the reason I was 'all over' your son was because I was caught off-guard by the number of family members who attended today. I was lead to believe this would be a small, intimate affair so I could properly meet his nuclear family, and when I realized that was not the case, yes, I held onto Aemond because I felt incredibly anxious. I cannot control what makes me uncomfortable, but I was expecting under ten people - not close to a hundred. So, truly, if me seeking solace with my boyfriend upsets you, I am sorry, but I will not apologize for feeling blindsided and misdirected - I will not apologize for feeling anxious and nervous amongst such a large family that I've never met before, and - "
Aemond snapped your name, silencing you instantly out of sheer shock; your eyes widening a fraction. He growled, "That's enough, do not speak to my mother like that."
"So, she's allowed to call me clingy, but I can't - "
"I told you to watch your mouth," he seethed, "and not speak to her like you just were. She made an observation - an accurate one - not out of spite, like you want to do in retaliation."
You scoffed, while glancing between mother and son, nodding slowly. You mutely used your cloth napkin to blot around your lips, swipe your tongue over your teeth as you pushed your chair back and slowly stood. "You know what? I don't need this shit. I refuse to sit here and let you speak to me as if you're holier than thou," you told Alicent, then looking to Aemond, "nor will some mama's boy gaslight me."
Helaena giggled behind her hand as you swiped your purse and phone, turned on your heel, and walked away. Aemond sighed and called your name, standing from his own chair, still trying to slow you down by calling out to you. "Aemond," Alicent snapped when he meant to move after you.
"You've done enough," he told her, jogging after your retreating form while calling your name.
"Nice one, Mum," Aegon scoffed. "That's one way to make sure he doesn't knock her up - just break them up."
"Aegon," Daeron groaned.
"What? Isn't that what she was afraid of? Aemond getting too serious with her?" Aegon snapped. "He's finally happy, and you what? Had to implode that?"
Aegon's words sunk into his mother's heart as Aemond rushed after you, nobody untouched by the things he said.
Outside, you rushed for your car while fumbling with your purse and keys. Aemond followed, still. He finally caught up when you made it to the car, his hand whipping you around to face him.
"I didn't fucking mean it," he rushed, holding you securely in his grasp. "Hear me? I didn't fucking mean it, I-I just wanted the arguing to stop, I know how Mum can get and I didn't want it to escalate. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, my love, I didn't mean it at you - I just - I panicked - I don't know why. Perhaps we're both still very green to this whole relationship thing."
"Oh! Fuck you," you snapped, pushing him off you.
"Listen to me - "
"No, you're done talking," you raged with your manicured pointer finger jabbing the air between you in a dramatic fashion. "Your mother fully insulted me in front of everyone - your entire family, whom I wasn't even aware I was meeting, nor was I even ready to meet!"
"What?"
"I was willing to meet your parents and siblings. Not your entire extended family! You meet the nuclear family first and when ready to level-up, you bring your significant other around your aunties, uncles, cousins - whatever. You ambushed me," you snapped. "You totally caught me off guard - but instead of apologizing and acknowledging my discomfort, you just carried on on your high horse. You let me hold onto you - yet there was no word about being clingy - and you even reached for my hand a few times! Yet I was the one being slandered and labeled as 'clingy'!? But you know what? That's cool, really fucking cool, that's fine. Like I said before, fuck off. I don't need to be with someone who crumples like a wet piece of paper when Mummy Dearest starts to huff and puff. I need someone who's going to tell their mother to cut it out when they're trying to wrongfully insult me - your girlfriend. Better yet? I need to be with someone whose mother doesn't start on that bullshit! That has respect! Decency! Now get the fuck away from me!"
You shoved him back a few steps to give room for you to open your car door and get in - immediately hitting the automatic locks. You started the engine, put your seatbelt on, took one last look at your first love as he tried to plea with you through the rolled up window, then shifted into gear and pulled away.
You felt your anger boil to a new height when you replayed the entire day. How dare Aemond? How dare he try to manipulate this situation? He had no right to ask you to shut the fuck up while his mother was free to run her mouth! Well, first and foremost, how fucking dare Alicent insult and challenge you in such a public setting? How in the Seven Hells had Helaena been the only one to defend you? What the hell did you even need defending against? Why did you showing affection and needing reliable support upset Alicent that much?
Your phone began to ring, and when you glanced at it, you saw Aemond's contact photo displayed on the screen. You ignored it and put your phone on airplane mode, leaving it on for now. However, after a few long moments of stressful thinking, you turned the setting off and called your sister - knowing no matter what, she'd be your rock. When she answered, you told her a simplified version of events, and at the end, your tears had been triggered and she was encouraging you to come over to her house.
You agreed, shut your phone off this time, and drove to your sister's place. When you arrived, you were shocked to find her waiting in the driveway, opening her arms with a pout when you got out of the car. "C'mere," she cooed, enveloping you in her arms when you stepped into her embrace.
"Why do boys suck?" You whimpered.
"Because that's just how they were programed," she sighed.
"Sh-She called me clingy," you managed through your tears, "his mom called me clingy, a-and Aemond d-didn't defend me. So, when I had to defend myself, he just told me to be quiet 'cause his mother wasn't wrong - or what-the-fuck-ever."
"I know, honey," she sympathized, giving you a squeeze. "What're you thinking?"
"That I can't trust someone like that," you admitted. "And if I can't trust them, why be in a relationship?"
She nodded, "I think you know what you need to do next."
"I don't want to."
"Nobody really wants to, but it's necessary," she held your phone out for you after pulling it from your back pocket. "Don't let him or his mother disrespect you - especially in front of his other family members. I mean, shit, how're you supposed to face any of them again after that?"
"Exactly, his mom didn't exactly do it in private..."
"See?" She stared at you while you sighed, shaking your head. Your sister encouraged, "Make the call. This isn't a sustainable relationship, and Aemond shouldn't have to choose his mother and his girl - so, let's just make it easy on him, and you choose. Wanna be with someone who lets his mother say shit like that to you? Who tells you to be quiet, instead of shutting down his mother's insults?"
You frowned, whispering, "I don't think this is enough to break us up. It shouldn't be, right? This shouldn't be the end-all, be-all, should it?"
"No, honey, but the disrespect cannot stand, either," she shot back. "If he felt so comfortable to say that in front of his family like that, you don't wanna know what he's gonna get comfortable doing in more private settings." Tears filled your eyes as she reminded gently, but firmly, "Make the call."

note: i hate seafood but i keep putting it on my fictional restaurants menu ? kept this one pretty simple so i could get it out there <3

"Crab cakes, go." James says, eyes darting up from the menu he's holding to look at you from across the rickety staff room table.
You don't miss a beat, describing the dish as you would to a customer, "The crab cakes are one of our most popular appetizers. They're pan seared and served with sofrito escabeche, a zesty blend of onions, bell peppers, and tomatoesâso I highly recommend them if you're looking for something tangyâand they have a to die for berbere aioli drizzle."
"Tell me more about the berbere aioli. What is that?" James questions, playing the part of a curious customer.
"The berbere aioli is a spicy-chili sauce that I'd say is just shy of medium in terms of spice level. It complements the crab cakes really well, but you could always order it on the side if you're not too sure about it."
"That's my girl," James praises, "You're a quick learner, you know that?"
"I don't know about that," you protest, looking down at your hands that lay politely folded on the table in front of you. You try to mentally will yourself not to blush at James' approval.
"It's barely over a week since you started and you know this thing like the back of your hand," James argues, gently tossing the menu down as he leans back in his chair, "And there's so little time to sit and study here."
You have a funny look on your face when you meet James' eyes again, eliciting a gasp from him.
"You've been studying the menu outside of work, haven't you?" he squints, speaking in an accusatory tone.
"Shouldn't I?" you ask, and the fact that it's a genuine question has James clutching his chest over his heart.
"No! You never think about work unless you're getting paid!"
"How else am I supposed to learn this whole menu in a timely manner?" you cross your arms defensively.
"Who said anything about a timely manner, Love. I was weeks out of training before I had the whole thing down."
"Yeah, well you're more..." you trail off, trying to find the words.
"More what?" James is quick to sound defensive.
You put your hands up as a sign of innocence, "Just laid back. You're a go with the flow kind of guy. As opposed to me, who's more-"
James interjects, "Stuck in your head," nodding along without a doubt that that's what you were going to say.
You look at James, a bit of surprise and alarm swirling around in the pit of your stomach. He was spot on, but how could he possibly be? He barely knows you, after all.
"What?" James seems to sense your confusion, "I've noticed the turmoil in those eyes of yours. You're doing it right now."
You look bashful, so James graciously changes the subject.
"Whatever, just promise me you won't ever think about this place when you're off the clock again!"
"Promise," you agree, despite his request being impossible.
For whatever reason, your mind seems to always be on work. Not even in a stressed, overthinking way like you'd expect from yourself. It seemed to be little random tidbits from work infiltrating your mind throughout your days. Like sometimes, you randomly think of a joke James said once. Or you see something funny and want to show it to him. Or you think about how nice James is when you mess something up.
Okay, maybe they're not so random after all.
"What're you thinking about?" James interrupts your thoughts.
Just as you're about to start stammering through an excuse, Mary pops her head into the room.
"There you guys are!" she says, "I just sat you guys. Table six."
"Thanks, Mary. We'll be right there." James responds.
"I had Peter bring them some waters because I couldn't find you guys for a whileâoh, he's back today by the way, did you know?" Mary asks, but doesn't stick around for James to answer, "I have to get back. Table six, guys!" Her voice echoes the reminder as she's already disappeared from your sights.
James shakes his head at her, amused by the way she jumps from one thing to the next without taking a breath.
"Peter?" you question as you and James begin to stand from the table.
"Yeah, he does bussing and some food running, a helping hand for us servers, really. He was on vacation." James explains as you follow him out into the dining room.
Your eyes fall on table six, a table for two that beholds two kind looking older ladies.
"You think you can handle this?" James juts his chin in their direction.
"Yeah," you say confidently. You have already taken the lead on some tables while James supervised. So far, it's been going well. Your first table you had to ask James to help answer some questionsâmaybe that's why you wanted to learn the menu so quick, it made you feel sheepishâbut after that one time, James hasn't had any notes.
"Alright, I'm gonna check on our other tables then."
"Wait," you gave yourself whiplash with the way you craned your neck swiftly to look at him, "You meant handle it alone?"
"Yeah," James looks down at you reassuringly, his eyes filled with warmth, "You can do it."
"Uhh-? No, what if I-"
"Get out of that pretty little head of yours," he interrupts, "You've got this."
The sincerity in his tone incited a bit of confidence in you.
"Okay, okay. Okay sure," your shaky voice became a little more steady with each word, and you started walking to the table.
"Wait!" James carefully takes hold of your wrist. The progress you had made in easing your nerves is out the window.
"You'll need this," James slides his server book out from his apron and held it out to you.
"Right," you say quietly, smiling as you took it from him.
His hand fell from your wrist as he bid you good luck. He watches you for a moment as you greet the table, a proud gleam in his eyes.
Marlene appears beside James, a tray of waters and soft drinks balancing on her palm, "Your girl's taking orders on her own now?"
"Just the one table for today," James replies.
Marlene hums approvingly and saunters off to deliver the drinks.
James registers her words only when she's already left, "Wait, my who now?" he asks the wall.
His furrowed brows relax as he decides he kind of likes the sound of it.
After checking on your other tables, getting refills and putting new food orders in, James notices a congregation of his coworkers at the host stand so he decides to join in.
"Who's that?" Peter asks, swinging a rag over his shoulder.
Lily follows Peter's gaze to you, who's delivering some bread and butter to table six.
"James' girl?" Lily questions, "She started last week, she's been doing pretty well so far I think."
"Any reason in particular we're calling her that?" James decides to ask on his approach, having heard that phrase twice in under ten minutes.
"Ah, well, she hardly talks to anyone else." Marlene drawls.
"Eh, she's just a bit skittish," James provides an excuse for you, "it's kind of cute."
Lily and Mary share a look.
James continues, "She'll get used to you guys soon enough, just be nice." He really only says the last part to Marlene.
"I am nice," she defends.
"Well, you're not mean," Mary offers and Marlene scowls at her.
James chuckles, and turns to Peter, "How 'ave you been, mate?"
Peter opens his mouth to share details of his vacation, but he's interrupted.
"What are you all doing up here?" Nate hisses, appearing suddenly as if out of thin air, "You know how bad it looks for nearly my entire staff to be slacking off in the front of the restaurant?"
Before anyone can disperse or defend themselves, Nate continues, "And you're supposed to be training, Potter. Where's your girl?"
"Me?" your choked voice rings from behind him.
Everyone peers over at you, standing there shellshocked and blushing with a pitcher of water in your hands.

The other Bronze â Part 14
For Lunatic... I hope you're doing better and I hope you read this and find some comfort in it - mom and dad love you to the most and back Lunatic âĽď¸âĽď¸
Sarina parked it just a little bit away from the hotel and turned in her seat to look at you
âWe still need to talk Liefjeâ Sarina said sternly pulling you back into the car
âDon't worry â I found a weak linkâ you said happily
âNot what I was thinking about but.. good jobâ the dutch said â.. Leah said you tried to kill yourself â I want to know whyâ
âSeriously... I swear that was a one time thing and I'm better nowâ you said upset
âNot what I asked... I want to know WHYâ the blonde stayed stricter
âI... I felt so alone... Lucy was gone... Keira just moved to Barcelona.... I mean the girls a great but... they're not Luce or Kei... somehow me stupid brain convinced me that they left and broke up because of me... and that they wouldn't care if I was around or not... so I got some pills from grandmas cabinet and just took them all...â you said not looking at the dutch
â... and then?â Sarina said lowly
â... I got scared... like... I suddenly knew that it was a mistake... so I wanted to call Hempo but I clicked the wrong number... got Leila on the phone.. I didn't knew her very well just in passing â but she came... she asked me where I am after I cried into the phone that I'm scared. I even called her Laurie... you know... she didn't KNOW me â but she came...and before I knew it I threw up... I'm basically still alive because of her... Lei then called Hempo... mills turned from that moment....â you recapped the night it all happened
âBut why Liefje.... you know you could always come to me â or to one of usâ Sarina tried again to understand you
âI can't tell you why Mama Rina.... I don't know... I just felt so alone... but I swear I never ever thought about it againâ you stressed out
âIf you EVER feel the need to do something like that again I want you to call meâ the blonde took your hand strongly and with her second hand she made you look at her âOkay?â
âOkay... I promise...â you nodded lightly
âGood... so... that weak link....â Sarina smiled slightly
âNow or after dinner? Because I AM kind of hungryâ you look embarrassed
Sarina laughed out loud but nodded anyway
âOf course Liefje... come on nowâ she laughed as the two of you exit the car
The dutch laid her arm around your shoulders pulling you into her side as the two of you walked the short distance to the Hotel. You laid your head on her shoulder enjoying the rare moment of peace you get with the head coach.
âHey... hey y/n... we saved you a seat!!!!â you heard Tooney before you saw her
âGoâ Sarina smiled lovingly as she released you from her hold
You sprinted over to the table quickly sliding into the chair between Less and Tooney before Keira or Leah could grab you. You sat opposite to your girlfriend sending her a small smile knowing Lucy was watching you two with hawk eyes. Suddenly you felt your chair being pulled back a little bit. You squeaked surprised as you felt the chair being lifted.
âYou really think I would let you sit at the kids table??â you heard Keira as you looked up you saw Millie and Mary holding the sides of your chair about a foot in the air
âSorry BBâ Millie smiled apologetic âShe has dirt on meâ
âYou can't be seriousâ you exclaimed trying to slip off the chair
âYou will get the same food at my tableâ Keira said dry as she nodded her head and Millie and Mary started to carry you (chair included) over to the grown up table and dispose you next to your sister while Keira sat down to your other side
âI don't wanna sit hereâ you whined âThis table is boringâ
âExcuse me? Do I look like I care? The last time you three sat next to each other you got us kicked out of a restaurantâ Keira said nonchalantly
âIt was NOT our fault that the flame thingy fell over and set the table on fireâ you said upset
âYou prodded it the whole time even after I told you to leave it aloneâ Keira now growled
âI found it fascinating.. the flame was blueâ you said ashamed
âGive up Bubs... you stuck with us for tonightâ Lucy now sighed âShe won't let you go backâ
âYou can overrule her... sister tops...â you said hopefully
âOh Bitsy... your sister tops absolutely nothingâ Keira smiled sweetly as she lightly slapped your cheek âNow eatâ
You looked down on your plate and pulled a disgusted face
âWhat's that?â you prodded at your food
âChickenâ Keira said as she started to eat
âTHAT is not chicken...â you pointed at the light hill on your plate
âThat's the rice with sauceâ Keira rolled her eyes âThat is the chickenâ she said as she pushed the rice a little aside
âAnd that green stuff... I don't do green stuff..â you argued again choosing the difficult route today â she wanted a kid. She'll get a kid.
âSpinachâ Leah now answered as her best had her mouth full
âEw no... not eating thatâ you huffed leaned back in your chair crossing your arms in front of your chest
âSuit yourself... go to bed hungryâ Keira shrugged her shoulders âIf you ever THINK of throwing a fit later because you're hungry you and I will have a private talk and you know these never end good for youâ
âI want food... not... thatâ you pouted and whined
âBitsy come on... you're not three... just eatâ Keira said and you heard that she's about to lose her last nerve with you
Still you shake your head not moving towards the plate again
âBubs come on... you haven't eaten since breakfastâ Lucy now tried the nice approach â good cop, bad cop âYou must be hungryâ
âI AM... but I want something tastyâ you whined
âIt's very tasty... just try it... for me?â your sister spoke softly smiling hopefully.
âHey Pumpkin... you interested in a deal?â now Beth interrupted the interaction knowing how important it was to get some food into you
âListeningâ you answered and glanced at her
âTwo forks equals one stroopwaffle... if you finish your plate â spinach included a whole extra packâ Meado smiled encouraging
âOne fork one waffleâ you shot back
âNo can do... two for one...â Beth leaned back in her chair grinning
âTwo extras at final whistle thenâ you tried your luck again
âI'll give you two extras if you eat your salad tooâ the brown haired woman smirked
âOkay now you're pushing itâ you huffed out
âTwo for one and an extra if you finish the plateâ Meado leaned forward extending her hand.
âTwo extrasâ you said seriously
âNope... no dealâ Beth said as she pulled her hand back
âOkay okay... two for one and one extraâ you said quickly nearly jumping on the table to grab Beth hand âbut from the good shop in Amsterdamâ
âDealâ Meado grinned as she saw Keira mouthing a âthank youâ towards her
You recutlanty started to pick up some rice and chicken with your fork. Everyone at the table knew you were a picky eater. Always have been and always will be â but if you had found something you liked you would eat like a harvester. But also you would go days without actual food if there was nothing you would find interesting. You carefully brought the fork to your lips just to feel the usual knot in your stomach putting the silverware down quickly
âNo... sorry... can't do itâ you said as you quickly stood up basically fleeing the table and the room.
Everyone looked after you confused. The first one who reacted was in fact Georgia as she pushed her chair back with such a force that it fell over backwards running after you. Lucy tried to run after the two of you but got stopped by Keiras hand on her arm
âLeave them...â the blonde said softly
âBut what if...â Lucy tried
âIf what...â Leah asked now
âIf G takes advantage of her state â we know how fragile she is at the momentâ your sister said a little stressed
âExcuse me?â Keira said shocked âThat's G we're talking about â you know damn well this girl has a heart of gold and as big as five field... and she's not the brightest sometimes... she doesn't even know what it means to take advantage of someoneâ
âI'm just....â your sister defended herself
âI know... but you need to let her grow up... it's not easy for me either but let her be Luceâ Keira said softly
You quickly sprinted outside the hotel actually jumping over some luggage which was standing around from guests just checking in. Once outside you looked around frantically as you saw the next best bush. You quickly got over there and just started to throw up. This was how your girlfriend found you. Hunched over a bush heaving loudly. Wordless she stood next to you rubbing small soothing circles on your back offering silent support. After a few minutes you got yourself up right again and leaned backwards against the wall
âWhat happenedâ G asked keeping her voice down
âJust got too muchâ you mumbled closing your eyes âThank youâ
âFor what?â Georgia asked confused
âComing after me...â you murmured suddenly feeling tired and exhausted
âI'll always come after you â and if I have to run to the end of the worldâ your girlfriend answered whispering as she both manoeuvred you into a sitting position
âSapâ you smiled with your eyes closed but leaning against her âWe probably shouldn't be so close â what if fans see?â
âLet them... don't careâ your girlfriend mumbled back âonly care about you right nowâ
âYou would...â you started
âDon't care... you're important to me, you know?â she interrupted you quickly knowing where this conversation would go if she'd let you go on
âYou're important to me too G...â you said serious â... that's why we need to talkâ
âAre you breaking up with me?â Georgia asked and you heard the panic in her voice
âNo... no... but you might want to break up with me after that talkâ you mumbled
âDid... did something happened... with someone... in Barcelona?â your girlfriend asked unsure
âYes... that too... but not like you thinkâ you sighed knowing you can't push that conversation further away anymore âBut you need to promise me to let me finish and not interrupt meâ
âOkay...â Georgia said carefully
You took a deep breath before you started to talk
âI'm telling you this because you are so SO important to me â not even Kei knows this... or god forbid Lucy... did I ever tell you why Leila and I are so close?â you looked at her and G shook her head before you continued âShe saved me G... literally... she saved my life... two years ago, when Kei moved to Spain too... I felt so alone... I know Toons was there... and Less... and Leah... and all of them... but in the same time no one was there... it was bad enough to lose Lucy to Spain.. But I still had Keira... but when she moved too â it broke me G... I know she had to for her career... and I would never ever blame her for what happened but it broke me. I had no one to go to â I was still laborating on my ACL and I didn't know what to do. I fell G and I fell hard. I was rock bottom and I didn't know how to get back on top again...â you started to feel the tears threatening to fall â... so I got all the pills my mom had in her cabinet threw them all in a bag mixed them up and just took a handful... and suddenly I got so SO scared... the sensible part of my brain asked me if I'm bloody serious to choose the easy way out. Out of panic I wanted to call Hempo of all people â you know how she would react in a situation like that. She would panic herself. But she was the nearest to where I was. I pressed the wrong contact and Leila answered the call. Don't know why but she did. I didn't even realized my mistake and just started sobbing into the phone what I just did and that I'm scared and where I am and to please help meâ
You were full on crying now. Not the loud outgoing cry, just silently as your tears run down your cheeks onto falling onto your shirt
âI don't know how much time went past but suddenly I got yanked up from the bench I was sitting on and the person just bend me over and made me throw up.... wasn't the nicest thing in the world. After I came by a little more I realized Leila was the one holding me bend over asking me if I think that it was all of it or if there's some left in my stomach because she WILL shove her fingers down my throat again if she had to... told her I think that everything is out and she basically carried me to her car. She told me she's going to get me into hospital and who she should call. Told her Hempo â I knew the chain would work its way to Leah. Leila got me to the Hospital told them what happened and they took care of me. When I woke up the next morning Leah and Meado were sitting next to my bed. Leah looked like death heated over twice. Meado wasn't far behind. I felt so guilty that I started crying . Woke them both up with my sobbing. Leah informed me that they'll take me back with them â already talked to my mom and dad about it. She also told me that they told them it's because she thinks a change of scenery would benefit me â dad agreed knowing how hard I took Lucys moving. Went back to London with them and god â Leah can be worse than a jail guard... I went to therapy... three times a week... it was always Leah or Beth picking me up afterwards... until it was Millie and somehow with Millie I just broke down. I held it together for Lee and Meado... but Millie with her calm persona and just being there â I think I cried for hours. Woke up in Meados guestroom... was the first time I met Viv officially as the girlfriend. It got better after that day â really better. Leah basically held me hostage for another six month â she even made me join her at the Arsefacility for light workouts. Let me tell you they have all that great stuff in their gym and still are shitâ you smiled through your tears keeping your eyes fixed straight ahead staring into nothing so you didn't see your girlfriend crying too â ⌠and then a few days in Barcelona I had a full blown anxiety attack because MapĂ played a ball wrong and it came at me. I got it under control played it back to Kei before even realizing what I was doing and then all of them were looking at me like I just scored a World cup winner... got to much and everyone of them saw.. I tell you because I know Sarina wants a friendly against Spain end to camp â when she announces it you act surprised â and they will ask if everything is okay... because that's how they are... It was weird at the begin...â
Suddenly your conversation got roughly interrupted by your sister who pulled G up by her shirt away from you already started yelling at her. You got scared for a second before you quickly jumped to your feet going after your sister who had your girlfriend pinned to the wall by now. Georgia was white her eyes wide as Lucy kept yelling at her
âWhat have you done Stanway??? I listened to Keira and let YOU go after her to find her crying her eyes outâ your sister yelled in Georgias face pushing her harder against the wall
âLucy please... it wasn't herâ you begged your sister tugging on her arm âit wasn't her and it's not because of her... Luce pleaseâ
But it was no use since Lucy just saw red. She just came out to check on you knowing you always need air when you feel trapped. What she saw broke her heart and made her blood boil. She saw you crying and your girlfriend just sitting next to you doing nothing. It was irrational she knew but she swore to protect you and if it costed it the place on the national team than she would pay that price but she won't let anyone hurt you.
âLucy.... pleaseâ you tried again as fresh tears sprung to your eyes and again your plea fell to deaf ears as your sister continued to ignore you in favor of yelling at your girlfriend
So you looked around for help and spotted Keira and Leah at the elevators on the other side of the lobby. You quickly ran over to the doors who opened and yelled through the hotel lobby
âKeira!!!â you hoped to get her attention. Your voice must have sounded so distressed that Keira turned around quickly â Leah following suit and she spotted you standing in the automatic door âHelpâ you said louder but not yelling level.
Keira took off towards you before you could turn around Leah hot on her heels as you went over and tried to get Lucy off Georgia again. Keira and Leah came exit the hotel and quickly saw what brought you to such distress. They immediately got into action mode pushing themselves between Lucy and Gs bodies. You were still trying to tug your sisters arm off Georgias shirt. Thank god Keira and Leah were much more successful (perks of knowing how to separate players from experience) and quickly got your sister and girlfriend separated. You immediately went over to your girlfriend who was still rooted in place shock and fright clear on her face.
âYou okay?â you asked lowly âShe didn't hurt you did she?â
âJust shaken up... didn't see that comingâ Georgia said back lightly shaking
You let Keira and Leah deal with Lucy while you checked your girlfriend over once more needing to make sure she really was not injured. After you were satisfied with your check you turned around seeing Keira poking Lucys chest furiously on the other side of the entrance. Leah stood nearly in the middle of the two parties having an eye on both sides. She met your eye and you let her know that everything was okay and even tho G was shaken up she was not injured. At the way Keira was now waving her hands around and your sister looking ashamed and guilty you knew Kei was pissed and Lucy was at the receiving end. You saw Leah coming over to you and stepped into your field of vision
âAre you okay?â the captain asked concerned
âYeah... just... got a little scared... don't know what got into herâ you mumbled
âKeira is sorting it out right nowâ Leah said lowly âYou okay G?â
âYeah...â your girlfriend nodded slightly
âYou want to report it to Sarina? Or want me to tell her?â Leah asked seriously âYou're calling it G... I don't know what happened but I know you didn't provoke her so Lucy laying her hands on you...â
âNo...â your girlfriend interrupted her friend â... I just want to talk to her... aloneâ
âAre you sure G?â Leah asked again
âYes I'm sure...â Georgia nodded again â... I don't want her thrown of the team Lee... I just want to know whyâ
âYour call G...â Leah sighed and called over âKei... lets goâ before looking at you âYou come with usâ
âDa Fuck I willâ you said stubborn
âBabe it's okay... let me sort this out okay...â your girlfriend said calmly
âI swear Lucy... if you even as much as look at her the wrong way I will end youâ you sneered as you passed your sister getting pulled along by Leah
You don't know how much time passed as you watched through the big glass windows as your girlfriend and sister having a talk outside the hotel with you inside the lobby
âCalm down Bitsy...â Keira said as she pulled you into her side â... G's a big girl... she can handle itâ
âI know... but Kei... Luce basically attacked her with no reasonâ you huffed but let Keira comfort you a little bit
âI know it sounds like a cheap excuse but... she just got scared about your well-being... I KNOW you are also a big girl Bitsy... but you'll always be her little girl... she's trying Bitsy... but seeing you cry made her snapâ the blonde mumbled as she pulled you closer
âBut it wasn't because of G... I told her what happened in Barcelona and I couldn't stop the tears... G had nothing to do with itâ you said as fresh tears starting to form in your eyes âand she didn't listen... Lucy didn't listen to me... I can't do this Kei... I can't have my sister and my girlfriend fighting... or my sister fighting my girlfriend â she needs to stopâ
âShe will Bitsy... it just takes some time for her to come to terms with it... she's not good with change either â where do you think you got it from?â Keira smiled slightly
After what seemed like forever in your mind you got surprised as you saw your sister and girlfriend hugging. Not an awkward hug. It was a full on bear hug. Like the hugs you only accept from a few people in your life â full of love and unspoken promises. You watched as they parted again but Lucy kept her arm around Gs shoulders as they walked back into the lobby stopping right in front of Keira and you
âYou two dating now?â you asked raising an eyebrow
âYeah about that babe...â Georgia smirked playing along
âIt's fine... I'll just take your best friend then...â you waved off starting to grin
âDoes Leah know about this?â Keira now asked faking confusion
âNot talking about Leahâ you smirked as you pressed yourself further into the blonde
âThat... looks so wrongâ Lucy looked horrified
âYOU asked me if it was Keira!!â you exclaimed accusingly
âand THAT was a genuine mistake...â your sister defended herself quickly â... but you made it looked like it was!â
âI was just wearing her shorts!!!â you bantered back
âWhat in our world means that you're basically engaged!!!â Luce fired back
âWhere's my ring?â you turned to Keira expectantly raising your eyebrow again
âEXCUSE ME?!â Georgia exclaimed fake shocked âYou're engaged and making moves on me?? Keira I swear I didn't knowâ
âMeeh... it's alright G... thought I give her the chance to get it out of her system before tying her down... because that's over then... and she was drooling over you for a long timeâ Keira waved off before all of you bursted out laughing
âLuce...â you said getting serious again â... you can't do that... you can't freak out like that againâ
âI know... I'm sorry Bubs... It's just...â your sister tried to explain but couldn't find the right words so Keira helped her out
âIt's not easy for us Bitsy... we love you so much and even if we KNOW that G would never ever hurt you â seeing you cry is hard for usâ the blonde said as she started to scratch the back of your neck lightly â.... we went through so much together that we just want to protect you â and again... we know that that one wouldn't hurt you on purpose but still... seeing you crying and in distress just flips a switch... the difference is that I have WAY more self-control than your sisterâ Keira explained quietly
âI'll never hurt her I promiseâ G said quickly her eyes wide
âI know G... I know you'll never hurt her on purpose but there will be hurt... because that's how a relationship works â it's not always sunshine and rainbows... you both have to work for it and you have to communicateâ Keira said serious âWe'll always be there to support you and if you want give advice â you're both young and we know what it's like to be separated for some time...â
âThanks Keiâ you mumbled into her shoulder
âAlways Bitsy...â she smiled as she pressed a kiss to your forehead âAnd Gâ
âYeah?â your girlfriend asked weary
âFor god sakes... grow some balls and defend your girlâ Keira said sternly âLucy can take some bollocking â because that will be something she has to deal with when we're back in Spain anywayâ
âI have to what?â your sister asked horrified knowing Keira doesn't fuck about
âWe'll have a talk when we're back... just you and me... in privateâ the blonde informed your sister who shrunk back a little under the intense stare of her ex-girlfriend
âUuuuhhh... someone is in troooouuubleâ you sing-songed snickering
âYou want to be added to the list?â Keira raised her eyebrow looking down at you
âYeah no thank youâ you quickly said sheepishly
âThought so... now off you go... it's late and it was an eventful day â I can see and feel the exhaustion from youâ the blonde scoffed before pushing you off her slightly
âLuceâ you whined and your sister immediately turned around to give you a piggy back ride
You unceremoniously climbed on her back letting her carry you to the elevator getting you to your room while Keira and G stayed behind
âI'm sorry for what happened Gâ Keira started
âIt's okay Kei...â Georgia waved off
âNo it's not G... it's not okay what Lucy didâ the blonde interrupted her best friend quickly â... she shouldn't have reacted that way... and I promise you it'll never happen again I make sure of it... but I want you to understand that Bitsy is her everything â Lucy wouldn't think twice to jump in front of a truck for her... both of us wouldn't think twice but Lucy would be quicker. She went through so much and never actually talked about it or grieved you know â when she got the news of it being her ACL again and this time she's forced to stop playing... she just... sat thereâ Keira said remembering the day as if it happened yesterday â... she just sat there â 13 years old... blank face... shrugging her shoulders â Lucy and I kept it together until we were home and then first Lucy broke and then me... but her... she just â I don't want to say accepted it but she just bottled it up... she lost her spark that day â and slowly it's coming back... you are the reason for that G... you don't know it but you help her heal more than Lucy and I could in the last three yearsâ
âI... didn't do anythingâ your girlfriend said confused
âYou treat her right G... and that's enough for herâ Keira smiled slightly
âI nearly didn't... you know... if it wasn't for her stubbornnessâ Georgia admitted shyly
âWhat do you mean? And yes... everyone with the name Bronze is stubborn as fuckâ the blonde said rolling her eyes
âShe kissed me you know... after the Euros... I was... drunk... but sober enough to kinda realize whatâs happening... I pulled her outside the locker room and told her this can't happen..â your girlfriend explained to her best friend â... I told her she's too young and this isn't what she wants... she told me she may be young but she definitely knows what she wants... and that's me... she was so adamant... but I pushed her away a few time... until she showed up at me apartment in Munich â god only knows where she got the info from where I live â and just TOLD me that she won't accept me saying ânoâ anymore and she'll definitely won't let me run away and hide anymore... my whole self-control broke that moment....â
âSo you did have sex with her before her birthday... because that's what she told Luce... that you waited till her birthdayâ Keira questioned
âNo... god no... I didn't touch her that way before her birthday... I swear Kei... I mean there were some moments where it nearly got to that point but I stopped... I SWEAR K...â Georgia said quickly
âG... even if you did have sex with her before... it's in the past and nothing can change it... I know how the Bronze women can be... once they have something set their mind on it takes an army to get them to get them off the rails... it doesn't matter if it's Lucy or Bitsy or Sophie or Diane...â Keira smiled â... you will experience that in future a few times â and I wish you good luck and already feel sorry for you at the same time... but what Luce did earlier is still not okayâ
âWe talked it out K... I swear it's okay... she promised to hold backâ your girlfriend assured
âYou could talk to Sarina...â Keira said but this time Georgia interrupted her
âNo... she apologized we talked it out... done and dusted... I understand her Kei... I really do... because if I see someone making me girlfriend cry I would snap tooâ your girlfriend waved off
âGreat...â Keira mumbled â... another one I have to keep an eye on... the next time I get asked what I would do if I don't play professionally football anymore I say âzookeeperâ... got plenty of experience in keeping wild animals under controlâ
Georgia burst out laughing and offered her best friend her hand to pull her off the couch. Keira accepted the hand gladly and let G pull her into a standing position.
âYou're getting old Walshâ Georgia teased when Keira groaned getting pulled into an upright position
âNo... I'm just over the whole shiteâ Keira grumbled as she turned around to leave
âLove you Walshâ G yelled after her
âLove you Stanwayâ Keira yelled back making Georgia smile
Lucy noticed you were asleep before you two even made it to your room. The way your head slowly sank deeper onto her shoulder was a clear indicator â as well as your light snoring and the occasional smacking of your lips. Your sister âknockedâ on the door using her foot adjusting her hold on you. LJ opened annoyed but perked up immediately when she saw Lucy
âYeah?â LJ asked
âJust here to deliver Bubs...â Lucy said being a little icy towards the younger player
âOh... okayâ LJ said stepping aside letting Lucy in
Your sister disposed you carefully and with practical ease on the bed and started to pull your socks and trousers off your legs
âShe's 16... I think she's capable of undressing herselfâ LJ bit a little too harsh which caused Lucy to narrow her eyes at her teammate
âI am aware... but I also know her... look LJ... I don't know what your twos problem is but when it comes down to it â she's my baby sister... and whoever hurts her better makes his last will because I won't have it...â Lucy said seriously as she made sure your scars were covered quickly
âLucy... I know that okay... and yes we're not really friends anymoreâ LJ started and Lucy snorted â... but I think we can be civil with each other.. I mean you and me know she swapped my cleats and I did nothing to her did I nowâ
âI really like you as a person and a player LJ...â Lucy sighed before pressing a kiss to your head â... but again.. she's my baby sisterâ
âWe will figure it outâ LJ said and if you weren't asleep you would've bursted out laughing â because from your side there was no âfiguring it outâ
âMorningâ you greeted Meado at the elevators the next morning
âMorning pumpkinâ Beth greeted back giving you a once over âYou okay?â
âGettin there... need coffeeâ you said slowly clearly still half asleep as you felt Meado putting her arm over your shoulders pulling you into her side
âPumpkin I know you don't want to hear it but I need you to eat something too okay... I know you can go longer than 24 without food but it's not healthyâ Beth said a little concern in her voice.
She as well haven't forgotten what happened two years ago. How Leah called her full on sobbing that she needs to get to Manchester as quick as possible but she can't go on her own because she probably would crash the car. Of course Beth immediately was on board picking Leah up not even 15 Minutes later. Leah was an emotional mess. Meado actually didn't find out what happened until there were about 30 Minutes out of Manchester. And when Leah finally told her â Beth nearly lost control over the car. So yes â your well-being also was important to her.
âYeah I know... yesterday was just...â you started ashamed
â... emotional... I know...â Meado finished for you smiling slightly
âMorningâ you heard suddenly as Keira stood behind the two of you
âMorning Keiâ Meado said happily while you just grunt in response
âCome here Bitsyâ Keira said lovingly opening her arms knowing you always need longer and more importantly physical contact in the mornings
The elevator arrived and all three of you entered it to go down to breakfast. One floor down Millie and Rach entered the elevator and you immediately whined for Millie to carry you. As usual you had everyone wrapped around your finger and so it happened that you got carried to the breakfast room where surprisingly Sarina waited for you with a coffee in your hand
âWe need to talk, Liefjeâ the dutch said you still clutched to Millies back pushing the mug into your hands âSo ex that and with meâ
âWhat did you do to make the big boss angry?â Millie asked confused as she set you down looking after Sarina who was just leaving
âYou're guess is as good as mineâ you shrugged your shoulders downing the coffee shuffling after the dutch into an empty meeting room
âWhat can I do for you great masteress of lionesses?â you tried to lighten the mood
âWhat happened yesterday?â Sarina came straight to the point looking at you expectantly
âHuh?â you looked at her confused
âWhy were two of my best players at each other throats AGAIN yesterday after dinner?â the dutch said and you knew not to fuck about
âThere was a misunderstandingâ you said carefully
âElaborateâ Sarina said seriously and you noticed she's getting angry
âI told G about what happened... two years ago... and in Barcelona... because I wanted to be honest with her... I started crying... I didn't even noticed I was crying... and suddenly Lucy was there having a go at G... but Kei and Leah took care of itâ you spilled immediately trying to low the blow
âOkay... okay...â the dutch sighed out massaging her temples
âI didn't mean tooâ you said quickly feeling incredibly guilty
âIt's not your fault... but I need to talk to both of them... this can't go onâ Sarina said seriously âI can't have my squad fighting each otherâ
âI knowâ you sighed ashamed â... I don't know what's going on with Lucy... because G did nothing and Luce is constantly out for her...â
âYour sister is protective, Liefjeâ Sarina said softly âAnd it's hard for her to see you datingâ
âBut... I'm not a baby anymoreâ you said desperately
âLiefje... you were with her your whole life â there were rumours that you are her daughter instead of her sisterâ the dutch chuckled
âUghâ you gagged slightly
âI want something else from youâ Sarina now leaned against the big table
âEhrm... I feel honoured but... Ehrm... you are a little to... experienced for me Mama Rinaâ you stuttered scratching the back of your neck
âDear god kiddo... it's not all about sex in life...â the dutch rolled her eyes â... I want you to come up with a exercise for training â teamwork and communicationâ
âWhy are you including me so much...â you asked a little confused
âBecause I know how great you can be â you always sell yourself short... I want you to realize how amazing you are and live itâ Sarina said softly â... and I want to inform you that we indeed have a friendly against Spain in 10 daysâ
âYes... I really want to face themâ you said happily â... I really want Less and Toons to meet MapĂâ
âLiefje... I will put you on a leash you if you plan on doing something stupidâ the dutch pointed her finger at you
âI just want to.... cultivate international relations...â you said carefully
âYou want to cause trouble â I will talk to Lucy about your harness... what was the name?â Sarina waved off
âBronzoâ you murmured defeated
âAh yes... now... I want you to come up with an exercise and a strategy for the game against Spainâ the dutch said and you know your little âmeetingâ was over
âYes Mama Rinaâ you sighed already thinking about different drills
âOh and y/n?â Sarina held you back as you were about to leave
âYes?â you looked up a little shocked
âSend your sister and girlfriend inâ the dutch smirked and winked at you
âWill doâ you smiled widely âWith pleasureâ
âBRONZE!!! STANWAY!!â you yelled when you entered the breakfast room and all heads snap towards you
âBig Bossies wants to talk to youâ you nodded towards the meeting room
Both your sisters and your girlfriends face went white as they stood up walking slowly past you with Georgia stopping shortly
âAre we out?â G whispered lowly
âDon't think so... but I can't say for sureâ you whispered back grabbing her hand and squeezing it encouraging
âIf that's the case I'll still be around â we can invade Leahs apartmentâ Georgia smiled lightly but you saw right through it
âShe won't kick you out.. she'll kick your ass and that's it... she knows it's not you who causes trouble... it's Luceâ you leaned up quickly pressing a kiss to your girlfriends cheek
âSTANWAY!!â now Sarina yelled down the corridor
Georgia quickly let go of your hand and ran down the corridor.
âThey're in trouble?â Keira asked you as you plopped down in the chair next to her inspecting Keiras plate who immediately pushed it towards you
âYeah.... somehow Sarina knows about yesterdayâ you mumbled â... hey Kei?â
âYes Bitsy?â the blonde smiled at you
âCan I have eggs?â you asked embarrassed
âOf course Bitsy.. why do you ask?â Keira looked at you confused
âDon't know.... just feel like itâ you shrugged your shoulders
âCome on Bits... let's get you some breeki hm?â the blonde smiled encouraging and pulled you out of your chair leading you over to the buffet
âTake whatever you want Bitsy.... just... don't load your plate Bronze styleâ Keira smiled as you went over all the option
âEggs... bacon...â you mumbled to yourself
âSomething healthyâ Keira threw in
âGuac....â you mumbled deep in thoughts âUuuuhhh.... donutsâ
âNoâ Keira smiled sweetly
âButâ you whined childish
âNo Bitsy... take some fruit and we're goodâ the blonde grinned
âBut you said whatever I wantâ you whined again
âNo donuts... you didn't do anything today what would justify a donutâ Keira said and you knew you lost the donut for good
You sighed heavy and took an apple from the fruit basket
âUuuuhhh... mom put her foot downâ Rachel laughed as you passed they're table
Keira pushed you to walk on when she noticed you wanted to start arguing with the blonde and lead you back to your table. After you sat down you looked down on your plate with the apple next to it. You picked up the apple looked at it for a second before throwing it towards Rachel hitting her straight in the back of the head which caused the whole table (especially Millie) to interrupt in loud laughter and Rachel to swear loudly. Keira scolded you lightly but smiled nonetheless
Lucy, Georgia and Sarina entered the room. The two players looked like drowned puppies while the Head coach smiled satisfied. Georgia immediately took a detour towards Tooneys and Less table which caused you to frown. Lucy sat down opposite to you and you watched her closely
âAll good?â you asked
âAll goodâ your sister answered before continuing to eat
âOkay Girls... this was a really good training so farâ Sarina yelled over the field clapping her hands
âOur new addition hereâ she pulled you next to and in to a hug âwill have the honour for the last exercise of the dayâ
All Lionesses looked at you expectantly and you suddenly felt a little shy
âI didn't agree to your offerâ you mumbled shyly
âYou willâ Sarina smiled happily âI'm pretty positive about it â now go and show them what you gotâ
âOkay Ladies... and Lucyâ you said loudly grinning after the little pep talk
âHey!!â your sister exclaimed annoyed as the team began to chuckle
âListen up... we're playing Hungry Hippoâ you clapped your hands and Rachel âwoohooedâ loudly
âFor everyone who doesn't know Hungry Hippo... it's simple... teams of three each... every team gets four balls... you have to defend your balls and also have to steal the balls of the other teams... team who is out of eggs first runs laps until the game is overâ you explained quickly
âWhat's the goal of the game?â Niamh asked
âGoal of the game is to get all the balls in one ânestâ... the goal of the exercise is teamwork and communication... you need to work together and communicate with each otherâ you explained âAnd before you ask... I put the teams togetherâ
âAaaawww maaaaanâ you heard Less groan
âWalsh, Stanway, Jamesâ you rattled off ignoring one of your best friends
âRusso, Williamson, Tooneâ you smirked knowing you just got Leah back for the rooming incident
âWHAT??â the capitan exclaimed shocked
âYES!!â Tooney and Less high-fived
âDaly, Bright, Mearpsâ you continued and split all the players into teams
âReally?â Sarina asked under her breath but loud enough that you could hear her âWalsh, Stanway and James?â
âKei and G are pissed at James â rightfully so but still need to learn to keep it off the pitchâ you mumbled back
âGenius move â I need you in my teamâ Sarina smiled
âAnd you will.. I want Jill Scott as my guardianâ you said off handy
âDoneâ the dutch answered quickly and smiled widely
âAnd we will talk about numbers... I want a good salaryâ you smirked at her
âYou haven't even seen the contract and already start hackling?â Sarina laughed
âI saw Lucys contracts over the years... they were shit..â you pointed out
âWe'll talk about it later... now let them runâ the blonde dutch smiled and you grabbed her whistle successfully pulling the short woman closer to you and blew that whistle hard
Immediately there interrupted chaos on the field and you couldn't help but laugh loudly when Lucy rugby tackled Rachel to the ground who tried to steal a ball from your sisters nest. The little game continued for some while â for a hot second it looked like Keiras team was loosing since they did everything than communicating with each other but the recovered quickly and got some balls back. You also saw how different the teams approach their tactics to defend and retrieve. Team Bright for example had Mearps AND Bright on defending egg duty while Rach zipped around stealing balls. Lucys team had only Lucy for defence and Lotte and Meado for retrieval. It was honestly too funny and you turned around to the media team
âOi edits.... get some footage of that... fans will love itâ you laughed as they quickly scramble to get some of the chaos on video
âHey.... hey youâ you shouted over to a guy who stood there a little lost and when he turned towards you you waved him over
âWhat's your job here?â you asked but still keeping an eye on the field
âI'm... a traineeâ the dirty blonde said shyly
âOkay... perfect... go get coffee for the big boss and myself.... she takes it black like her soul â strong... basically like oil... I want a latteâ you said smiling
âWhere do I find coffee?â the young bloke said getting even more shy
âIn the meeting rooms should be coffee machines.... just... take some from thereâ you looked a little unsure yourself âOh... and what's your name?â
âFinney... friends call me Finnâ he now smiled getting a little more comfortable talking to you
âYeah no.... I'll just call you Fren... we're Frens nowâ you waved off âeveryone who brings me coffee is a Frenâ
âOkay... I promise I bring the best coffee I can findâ he smiled before sprinting off
âAlready abusing your status I seeâ Sarina smirked next to you
âDon't tell me you had enough time this morning to actually fulfil your caffeine fixâ you said rolling your eyes
âOf course I didn't... I had to put your sister and girlfriend through the wringer AND put them on probation.... I was THIS close to put them on the naughty stepâ the dutch mumbled annoyed
âI would have paid to see thatâ you bursted out laughing âOI STANWAY.... STOP PULLING LOTTES PANTS DOWN!!!!â
âJEALOUS???â Lotte yelled back holding onto her shorts for dear life with Georgia hanging on the hem of them shorts trying to pull them down once again
âNot at allâ you yelled back laughing at their antics âShe already knows how comfortable the couch is...â
You saw a few seconds later how team âTwo best idiots + Leahâ lost their last ball and you grabbed Sarinas whistle (and Sarina) again whistling loudly. All Lionesses froze in their place and you grinned
âI really enjoy thisâ you said loudly smirking evilly â... Capitan oh Capitan....â you said dramatically â... your team is the first loosing all their Hippo eggs... so... you and your mates.... off you scramble... laps until the game is overâ
âYou can't do thatâ Leah growled knowing fully well you actually can make her run
âOh but I can... I said beforehand the first team without Hippo eggs will run laps, Williamsonâ you smirked enjoying having the upper hand for once extremly â... sooooo... runâ
Less and Tooney already jogging away from you knowing they wouldn't get out of it anyway so they just accepted their fate. Leah on the other hand was adamant to prove a point now looking at Sarina
âShe can't do thatâ Leah said sounding a little like a small child
âShe can... I gave her the task of finding a exercise for teamwork and communication â which she did â and I authorized it.... she said before you all started what will happen and you lost.... get going Leah...â Sarina said calmly knowing when to back you up and when you can defend yourself
Leah started to jog away still mumbling and growling under her breath
âThank you Mama Rina...â you mumbled as you accepted your coffee from Finn
âNo need Liefje... you were in the right and just because Leah wants to pull the capitan card doesn't mean she can do that all the timeâ the dutch said softly also accepting her coffee from the young lad.
The leftover players on the field were still looking at you expectantly and you realized you didn't restart the game
âSorry guysâ you smiled embarrassed
âWait...â Grace (Clinton) said quickly before you were able to blew the whistle again
âYeah Hillary?â you looked at her smirking
âFirst... please don't....â she sighed âsecond... what does the winner get?â
âOh... winner gets the afternoon off â and gets a cheat meal extraâ you smiled shrugging your shoulders
âExcuse me?? I didn't agree to thatâ Sarina exclaimed surprised
âYeah well... I just thought of thatâ you looked at her apologetic
âThe things I let slide with youâ the dutch rolled her eyes and waved her hand for you to continue
âLove you Mama Rinaâ you smiled pressing a soft kiss to her cheek
âYeah yeahâ the blonde murmured but a smile tugged on the edge of her lips
You blew the whistle again and immediately there interrupted chaos again â the game ended with a tie (you were made to stop it by Sarina) between Team Walsh and Team Bronze. Which surprised everyone â especially you but you did internally congratulate yourself for fulfilling the task of brining the team closer together.
The Bus ride was mostly quiet except for Georgia and Esme (who was on Lucys team) discussing rather loudly what they would have as their cheat meal with Rachel throwing in Gs direction
âLittle Bronze doesn't count you know... you can eat her as much as you likeâ the blonde smirked and immediately got Lucys dirty sock thrown in her face while you bursted out laughing next to Mearps and Georgia turning fire red once again. Back at the Hotel everyone went to their rooms to shower and get ready for Lunch and eventual media assignments. Lunch went over without a hitch â if you ignore the fact that your sister shooed your girlfriend away again â and soon all of you got the plan for the rest of the day.
You entered the room which was officially dubbed the âcommon get togetherâ-room finding Lucy, Keira, Mary, Less, Tooney, Niamh, Meado and LJ (who you honestly could do without) chilling around. Some of them were lounging on the couch while Tooney, Less and Niamh were placed at the table playing with some Legos. You made a beeline for your two bestest friends as Keira looked up from her book
âNoâ the blonde just said knowing letting you sit with them would end up in a Lego fight and you'd throw pieces at each other until one got either hurt or cried
âKeira cooooome ooooonâ you whined which caused Tooney and Less to look up
âYeah Keira... cooooome ooooonâ Tooney whined too
âCome here Bubsâ Lucy said from her place on the couch stretched her hand towards you trying to get you to come over to her âWanna show you somethingâ
âYou can always show it to LJâ you pulled a face and your voice was laced with venom
âHuh?â your sister looked at you confused as you turned around now marching towards Tooney like you were on a mission
âBitsyâ Keira warned you raising her eyebrow in challenge
âI'm just gonna sit hereâ you said annoyed and the blonde noticed your grumpy mood
âNo Lego fights!â the blonde looked at you threating
âOkay momâ the three of you answered simultaneously grinning
Soon after Less got called away by the media team for some... whatever, you didn't pay attention. Tooney and you continued to build on your Lego castle but as usual after like 30 minutes you both got bored
You just looked at each other communicating without words â like always. You both stood up at the same time looking around until your eyes fell on the dart board that was hung up on the other side of the room. Tooney and you tried to be as sneaky as possible as you slandered over to said piece of fun without noticing Keira watching every step you took. Just as you were about to pull the third dart out of the board so Toons and you could play a hand reached over your shoulder taking all darts away
âI told you... no sharp objectsâ you immediately reconized the voice of one Keira Walsh
âThey're not sharp...â you pouted as you turned around to look at her with your best puppy eye look
âNo pointy objects eitherâ Keira smiled sweetly and you knew it was fake as fuck
âBut... Tooney and I wanted to playâ you pouted
âTooney is banned from pointy objects tooâ the blonde just said hoping to end this topic
âTooney is what?â Ella said confused
âThe last time you whined for a WEEK that your finger nearly fell offâ Keira rolled her eyes âSo no darts for you either... find something elseâ
âOh yeah.. I forgot about that... it was really close for me finger to fall offâ Tooney said as she remembered her last interaction with darts
âYour bloody finger was fineâ you exclaimed
âBloody... that's the word you should emphasize... so much bloodâ Ella sighed
âLess nearly broke my nose.... THAT was bloody... your finger was just... trickling bloodâ you said upset
âIf you don't stop to one up each other immediately I'm going to put you in different corners of the roomâ Keira interrupted your âfightâ
âSorry momâ both of you said
âGosh... can't you two play nicely with each other for once?â the blonde rolled her eyes
âWe tried... you wouldn't allow itâ you tried to reason with her
âNo sharp or pointy objectsâ Keira said again âFind something elseâ
You looked over at Tooney who just shrugged her shoulders
âUh... there's a bowling thing in the basement... can we go bowling? Nothing sharp, nothing pointyâ you said excited as Tooney started to beam
âNot without a responsible adult aroundâ Keira said âAnd I'm not going down there with youâ
âMillie and Rach are down there... I thinkâ you said as you tried to convince Kei
âLucy?â the blonde turned around to your sister
âYeah?â Lucy looked up from her phone where she (most likely) texted with Ona
âI just spoke english did I?â Keira asked her ex
âEhrm... yes? Why?â your sister asked confused
âGood... I just thought I switched to spanish without noticing it when I said them two nobbheads won't go bowling in the basement without a responsible adult and Bitsys answer was Millie and Rachel... I just wanted to double check that I in fact did use the english languageâ the blonde said and you groaned behind her knowing she just shut down your idea
âOh no... you definitely spoke englishâ Lucy smirked
âMary??â you asked hopefully looking at the keeper
âYeah okay...â the tall brunette rolled her eyes but smiled noneless âI'll take you bowlingâ
âYES!!â you high fived Tooney âMary counts as responsible, right?â you checked with Keira
âYes... Mary counts as responsibleâ the blonde sighed actually hoping you'd find no body who would go with you so she could keep an eye on you
âWoohoo...â you cheered chasing after Tooney who already was sprinting towards the door
âNo runningâ Mary yelled after you but it was no use as she stood up following the two of you
âI'll give them 20 Minutesâ Keira said plopping down next to Lucy on the couch
âNaah... Mearps is good... Bubs respects Mearps.... 30â your sister grinned as she started a timer
32 Minutes later the door of the common room got kicked open and Mary carried you bridal style inside to cross the room with quick strides. Tooney was following after you apologizing profusely while you whined into Marys neck
â32 Minutes and 17 secondsâ Lucy looked down on her phone grinning stopping the timer showing it to Keira
âShould we follow or just ignore that something went horribly wrong... as always when these two are left to their own?â the blonde sighed looking expectantly at Lucy
âNaah... she has Mearps with her...â your sister waved off smirking knowing you'll throw an absolute fit once one of the physios wants to touch whatever limp is hurting at the moment.
A minute later the door opens again and Mearps head appeared
âLuce... Kei.... Help... please? She bit the new physio alreadyâ the brown haired keeper pleaded with her teammates
âRock paper scissors?â Lucy asked raising her eyebrow
â2 out of 3 or at first go?â Keira just asked back already getting ready
âFirst go... we don't have the time for 2 out of 3â your sister said getting ready as well.
âOkay Bubs... why are you causing trouble again?â your sister sighed as she entered the medic room âAnd what happened in the first place?â
âI want Keiraâ you sniffled
âYeah well... Keira won rock paper scissors so here I amâ Lucy shrugged sitting down on the exam table next to you
âTooney threw the bowling ball on me footâ you whined and Lucy REALLY needed to bite her tongue to not burst out laughing â leave it to Tooney and you to actually get hurt by a bowling ball
âWe just wanted to take a look but she wouldn't let us touch her footâ one of the Medics explained to your sister
âIt's okay... I got itâ your sister smiled as she sat down further down on the table putting your foot into her lap which caused you to whine and try to pull away
âNo Bubs... let me lookâ Lucy said softly starting to undo your laces and carefully pulling your shoe off your sock following just after the shoe
âOkay... I'm no medic but it doesn't look broken...â your sister said looking up at you âWe'll just let the pros have a look at it okay Bubsâ
You knew it was a rhetorical question but that doesn't mean you couldn't answer anyway
âNo no no no noâ you shook your head quickly
âYes... come on Bubs... just a quick once over and we're out of here again â I'll even get you some cookiesâ Lucy said softly knowing you needed reassurance right now
âOkay... but I want a donut... the chocolate oneâ you mumbled
âOf courseâ Lucy chuckled nodding to the medics
Just as she promised they just did a quick once over put some tape on your foot and told Lucy you should keep weight off it for at least 24 hours before sending you on your way again. Your sister knew you would be stubborn about letting her help you so she quickly grabbed you before you could slide down from the table and carried you down the hall
âLucy let me downâ you yelled annoyed as your sister carried you into the common room
âI will...â Lucy said calmly looking for a place to dispose you âStop wrigglingâ
âNow...â you grunted trying to get out of your sisters hold
âNo...â Lucy grunted back âKei helpâ
âJust put her down on the beanbagâ the blonde said already coming over
âKeira...â you whined loudly
âOh Bitsy... what have you done now?â Keira sighed seeing your taped up foot
âToons just doesn't know how to bowlâ you huffed crossing your arms over your chest
âI TOLD you to be carefulâ the blonde scolded
âI WAS... I stood behind her... ball needs to go forward.. not my fault she doesn't understand the rulesâ you grumbled back
âI'm really sorryâ Tooney said from the table where she got placed down by Mary âgentlyâ (gently means death glare and pointed finger)
âI know you are Toonsâ you grinned âYou got me donutâ
âExcuse me??â Keira exclaimed looking at your sister annoyed
âShe was good... she deserves oneâ Lucy defended herself knowing by Keiras look that the blonde didn't agree
âJust like always Luciaâ Keira snarled âYou don't have to deal with her when she gets all hyperactive because of the sugar â you just sleep or disappearâ
âI'll be good Kei... I promiseâ you said quickly not wanting that Keira and Lucy fight
âI know you Bitsy... you won't... so you can have your donut... tomorrow... and in small piecesâ the blonde said strictly
âBut...â you started but got shut down immediately by Keiras killer glare âCan I play Lego with Tooney?â you asked instead sheepishly
âYou hate Legoâ the blonde answered as a matter of fact
âThere's nothing else to doâ you whined
âYou can just leave your ass seated for a hot minuteâ Keira sighed loudly throwing her arms in the air annoyed
âThat's boringâ you whined making grabby hands towards Keira
âSeriously Bitsy.... you and Tooney are a guaranteed headacheâ the blonde said but helped you up nonetheless
ây/n... Tooney... you up for some media contend?â a voice suddenly asked from the door
âYES!!â you and Tooney exclaimed quickly as you tried to hobble away from Keiras prying hands as quick as possible
âGreat... we have something fun planned...â the man you named âeditâ (because he edits all the contend for the Lionesses social media) grinned widely
âYou need my approvalâ Lucy yelled out just as you and Toons slipped through the door letting it fall shut loudly
âOkay guys... first you gonna introduce yourself and then we gonna explain what you have to doâ edit says as if you two did media for the first time
âWe know how this works Steveâ Ella rolled her eyes
âOkay... then... goâ the black haired man said
âHi guys... I'm Ella Tooneâ Tooney smiled brightly
â.. and I'm the smarter and better looking Bronzeâ you grinned into the camera
âYou have a name you twatâ Ella said hitting your shoulder
âI know I do... but I AM the smarter and better looking Bronzeâ you huffed back shoving Ella so she nearly fell of the chair
âOkay... so here's what you two will do todayâ one of the media guys explained from the background âElla we going to blindfold you and we play a little taste testâ
âWhy am I getting blindfolded??â Tooney whined loudly while you grinned
âBecause you so ugly they don't want their lenses to crackâ you laughed
âShut upâ Ella shoved you hard pushing you successfully off your chair and you took the table down with you.
Tooney looked down at you shocked but a second later both of you exploded laughing
âOh god... we should've paired someone elseâ one of the media guys said desperately already seeing this go horribly wrong
The staff help you up again and set up the table again before giving you a Lionesses scarf and tell you to cover Ellas eyes with it. After you done your bit and actually tested that Toons really doesn't see anything by pretending to hit her multiple times you grinned happily back into the camera
âWhat now?â you asked excited as you got handed a take out box
âNow you just have to feed that to Tooney and she has to guess what it isâ edit says pointing to the box
You opened the box looked inside and immediately gagged loudly before closing it again.
âWhat?? What is it??â Ella asked alarmed
You opened the box again and now even just the smell resulted in you gagging even louder (the gag that comes from way down) â you felt like you nearly need to vomit
ây/n... you can't do that... stop gaggingâ Tooney said seriously already feeling her stomach tighten
âSorry... but... no... noâ you said again pulling your shirt over your nose heaving again
âSTOP IIIIITâ Ella whined
âThis stuff is making me heave... I can't stopâ you gagged again turning away from the take out box âI swear Toons... I would be livid if they made me eat that...â
âStoooopâ Ella now whined desperately âYou can't say shit like that and expect me to eat whatever it isâ
âOkay... okay...â you breathed deeply reassuring â not Ella but yourself âokay... this isn't gonna be nice okay Toons... just... swallow it... don't taste it just swallow it down... ready?â you asked having a little bit of the brown substance on a wooden spoon
âFuck meâ Toons looked unsure
âTrust me Toons... just... downâ you said unsure as you lined up the spoon with roughly Ellas mouth
âBut...â as soon as Ella opened her mouth you shoved the spoon into her mouth pulling it out a second later
âGet that away from meâ you pushed the take out box harshly so it nearly tumbles off the table before looking at Ella again who actually started to chew a little bit
âToons... just swallow it... you're not a fucking gourmetâ you exclaimed disgusted
âWhat is it?â Ella asked trying to guess the right flavor
âIt's dog food I swear... it looks like the stuff Lucy gives Narla... Caesars or somethingâ you said starting to heave again
âIt's not...â Tooney said convinced âIt's pâtĂŠ... or somethingâ
âTHAT'S PâtĂŠ?â you asked confused since you were sure it was dog food
âIt's not PâtĂŠâ one of the guys said from behind the camera
âIT'S NOT???!!!â Ella screeched
âTold you... it's dog foodâ you said offhandly
âIt's chicken pasteâ the guy said
âOh... oh... it's not bad actuallyâ Tooney said nodding
âNo... if you ever bring that near me again I'll break you legsâ you gagged loudly again
Half an hour later the two of you left the media room and Tooney helped you hobble down the hallway.
âI swear Toons... it look like dog foodâ you mumbled needing to concentrate on your good foot
âBut it was tastyâ the brown haired girl said softly as she held you upright
âHeyâ suddenly someone stood in your way
You looked up to see your girlfriend leaning casually against the wall
âNeed a lift?â she smiled at you softly
âI would take a ride tooâ you winked and this time it was Ella who gagged loudly
"You know... I'm just gonna call you Georgiaswifey from now on" Tooney huffed as she helped you onto your girlfriends back

The Nanny Conundrum~A Tommy Shelby Smut
Pairing: Tommy Shelby x Nanny!Reader (3rd person)
Warnings: Male masterbation, voyeurism. Meant to be kind of funny. A little cringe and embarrassing.
Prompt 93
Word Count: 2,791
Summary: Tommy Shelby just got a new nanny for Charlie. She's a sweet, delicate girl, but learns quite a thing or two about men while hiding for a game of hide n seek.
Please enjoy. I appreciate reblogs and comments. Likes are kind and thoughtful, and I appreciate you reading my work. However, reblogs really help writers out. So, please, considering rebloging.
Tommy was only delicate and proper with a select few people, and she was one of them, but he couldnât help himself. Not even Satan himself could give her a rough handling. She was delicate looking, sounding, and acting. Like a daisy, really. And on top of it, she was so, so good with Charlie. Just two years old, losing his mother a few short months before. He was hesitant at first, not wanting to go through a whole hiring process. And so, he convinced Mary and Francis to take on the extra duty. Though, two aging women, their patience was waning. Enough was enough, Mr. Shelby was getting a nanny for the poor boy.Â
It was difficult for Mr. Shelby to find employees as many were aware of his antics. There were a few applicantsâŚnone did anything for him. They were old. Had no energy with a sharp tongue. Mr. Shelby didnât want anyone with a sharp tongue. Then there was a quiet time with weeks in between; no applicants had walked through the door.Â
Until one day, someone did. It was a Sunday, too. Which got a work motivated man like himself excited. Mary had knocked on the door and he grumbled for her to enter. Behind her was a girl, not too tall and with a young face. He couldnât make out her age, but her cheeks were round and blushed with youth. He noticed how when she smiled, her eyes would as well and sheâd let out this delicate laugh.Â
It was right then that he knew. Unlike the others, he immediately slid back his chair and stood, straightening his blue white lined vest. Mary was surprised at the soft smile that tugged at his usually stiff lips. His stress lines seemed to ease, but most of all he turned gentle. Mary watched aghast how he waltzed around his mahogany desk and rushed over to her. Never had he ever shook a womanâs hand as such; both hands gently holding her right. âIâm Mr. Shelby,â he said, and Mary couldnât take anymore. She gave her employer a pursed look, brow raised, and he mouthed what.Â
âI will take my leave, Mr. Shelby,â she said. âI must go to the kitchens and yell at the staff.â The young girl frowned a bit and turned to watch the woman leave.Â
âIs she alright?â she asked, turning her attention back to the man who was still holding her hand.Â
He was quick to nod and offer a smile. âYes, yes! Sheâs fine. Donât worry about her, eh? I think all women get a certain edge to them when they hit about seventy-â
âAnd men,â she giggled, putting a finger out.Â
Kindly, he chuckled back. âI think we develop that a bit younger. Anyway! Come! Take a seat, eh?â He walked her over to the desk, hand resting politely on her mid-back. âSo, are you looking for a nanny position?â They sat across from one another and she handed over CV paperclipped together. His eyes quickly scanned it, grinning. âNanny program in London, worked for the same family for 2 years, twenty years old, born in Boston to English parents, and the second oldest of six children.â He put it down and pushed it over to her. âYou understand this is a live in position, love?â Love. A red rosy tint fell on her face and she had to look away shyly. She could not lie. Of course, Mr. Shelby was a handsome man smooth with his words. âYouâd be here Monday to Sunday. Of course, you will have free time and vacation time. Sundays off.âÂ
âThe pay?â she asked. âA family in London has offered me six pounds.â
Six bloody fuckinâ pounds, Mr. Shelby thought to himself, a bit stunted. But nonetheless, he said, âI can offer ten, plus youâll have a room, food, and free roam of the property. Iâll allow leave for all holidays, Sundayâs off, and early leave on Wednesdays. Youâll be allowed three sick days a calendar year-â
âI can start today,â she said, abruptly, far too eager to work for him. The benefits were like nothing sheâd even been offered. He paused, smile dropping a bit, not used to people being soâŚinterested. She coughed a bit and fixed herself in the chair. âSorry,â she said, clearing her throat. âI can start today. If you would have me, of course.â
He nodded, ânot today. Tomorrow. Youâll start tomorrow.âÂ
Everyone liked her. She was like a breath of fresh air. A positive influence on everyone. Francis and Mary seemed more at ease and talked with less grouch. The kitchen danced when she waltzed in. The other maids enjoyed how she was incredibly courteous of the messes Charlie would make. Even John and Arthur started to look forward to coming to Arrow house. Despite their miserable to be around brother who did nothing, but demand this and that from them.Â
And Mr. Shelby, well...he found himself smiling a tad more when he saw her with Charlie.Â
She was a wonderful nanny. On top of the normal tasks, she actually played with Charlie and helped with his coloring and motor tasks. Sheâd sing to him and dance with him. And unlike most girls her age, she wasnât opposed to rolling around in the grass with him. Theyâd sleep in the grass and dance in the rain with their shoes off. Charlie was in love with her! Mr. Shelby would watch from the window, feeling this pool of warmth within him when theyâd run around in circles.Â
âAh, look at her,â Francis sighed, putting the tea tray on his desk. âHer frocks are always stained with grass.âÂ
Mr. Shelby flicked closed the blinds and sat at his desk, making up his tea with just a tad of sugar and milk. He enjoyed some honey as well those days. âItâll rain soon, suppose theyâll come inside. Sheâs been reading to him a lot.âÂ
Francis smiled. âVery good. Will you be heading to the stables? Should I prepare-â
âNo, no,â he said. âIâm just going to enjoy my cuppa, eh? And you should take a rest.â A rest. That was also something new. Mr. Shelby was allowing staff to have much more rest since she came.Â
He finished his tea and went off to the stables when the two were coming in from their adventures from outside. After clean up time and a book, Charlie was still restless, wanting to run around and play. She pouted and poked his nose, âCharlie, I got a game for you!â His eyes widened and he giggled in excitement. She leaned in as if it was something special. âHIde nâ seek! I will hide. Okay? Has Charlie remembered his numbers?â
âOneâŚtwo..three..eightâŚfourâŚsixâŚnineâŚfive,â he counted off and she chuckled, telling him it was just fine enough. She picked him up and placed him facing the wall, explaining that he had to count to ten slowly and not move.
âI will hide somewhere, Charlie, on the first floor, okay?â she smiled, ruffling his hair before skipping out. She giggled as she heard his cute counting before opening and closing each door, unsure of where to hide before he stopped counting. She slipped into Mr. Shelbyâs office, not seeing the harm when he wasnât around. Under the desk, she crammed herself in a ball and waited.Â
She heard Charlie call for her in a laugh, running around the hallway. She could tell that he checked the bathroom first then her room before going back to his room. She waited and waited before the office door opened, and she grinned, getting ready to say you win! When Mr. Shelby coughed. Wincing, she wondered if she should climb out and explain that they were playing hide and seek or wait for him to leave, but to her annoyance, he took a seat at his desk. At first, he fumbled around with some papers before cursing under his breath, seeming frustrated. She was sucking in her lips to hold back any loud breathing. But what he did next wasâŚshocking. There were no other words to explain it. Shocking. To her, at least. A young twenty year old girl who surprisingly lived a very modest and conservative life. Never had she even held hands with a boy, nevermind witness what she was about to witness. His hands went to his belt clasp and fumbled with the golden hoop before easily undoing his trousers. Peeking out was a pair of menâs white underwear. Maybe heâs just getting comfortable, she told herself, but was quickly proven wrong when he let out a soft groan and slipped under the waistband of his underwear. She watched, frozen. He rubbed himself a bit under his underwear, grinding his hips up at his hand. Soft groans and eager curses filled the room in a hushed manner. As if he was ashamed of doing such a thing in his own home. It was all new to her, and she watched equally horrified and curious while kicking herself for being so stupid. A million hiding spots and she chose the very one he had to wank in. Peculiarly, a small wet spot formed where the tip was. Stupidly, she wanted to just reach up and touch it, but the thought lodged to the back of her head when he pulled it out. There was nothing she could compare it to, being the first cock sheâd ever seen. But her cunt ached in an almost fear-like response seeing the shape and length. The tip was glistening with a sticky substance that he didnât hesitate rubbing his thumb against. âFuck,â he let out, leaning back slightly. Between his thumb and index, he rubbed it before giving his cock three good tugs. How it dripped out in a long string before pooling a little tiny dot onto the floor next to her. Swallowing, she looked down at itâŚjust a little dab. A droplet. For a split second, she considered touching it. Mimicking how he rolled it between his fingers just to see what it felt like. But she couldnât do it. It felt grotesqueâŚdirty. Sinister? Thatâs when she heard him spit on his hand, drawing her attention from the precum and back to his twitching cock. His spit ran down the shaft, wetting the chair.
âOh, fuck,â he grunted, his hand wrapping around himself, twisting around. He moved slowly up and down, teasing the sensation. Itâd been such a long time since he last rubbed one out. Though loving a good fuck, self pleasure was never something he needed to ease an urge. But he felt it that day. His cock consistently throbbed at the seams of his trousers. Not even a smoke and a drink calmed him. And so, he resorted to a good old school wank. Admittedly, it was quite nice. Alone in his element, just feeling himself. âShit.â His started to roll upward, fucking his hand.Â
AloneâŚexcept for the sweet nanny under his desk, trapped in quite a predicament she wasnât quite sure she liked. His hand started to move a bit faster with a better rhythm. He was flowing a stream of grunts, curses, groans, moans, and inaudible sentences. âBaby,â he cried, head rolled back, eyes closed. âFuck me, câmon-shit!â He hummed, running a hand over his face. She swallowed and panicked that maybe he knew she was there. Did he? Who was he talking to? But she didnât move. She hardly even breathed scared heâd hear her. âMmmmhm.â Pausing, he spit on his hand again before rubbing it all over. Just as he resumed his speed, he said something she could hardly believe. Her name. Followed by a, âjust like thatâŚgood fuckinâ girl.â In shock, her eyes widened and her hands instantly covered her mouth. âBounce up and down, right on my cock. Ride my fuckinâ cock!â His breaths became jagged while his hips twitched and jolted. He was closeâŚso fucking close.Â
Meanwhile, the poor girl tried to block it out. But how could she? So close to a man jerking his cock, calling her name. Her fucking name? Imagining her bouncing on it. She couldnât help, but wonder if this was his first time thinking of her like this. She hated to admit it, but her thighs were struggling to stay still. So, so tempted to rub them together to ease a surprise heat growing between her legs. âThatâs good, baby, keep doing thatâŚ.Ugh! Fuck!â He paused, edging himself. She noticed when he stopped, his hands clenched around it harder, shaking. Then he slowly went back to tugging and rubbing, easing back into the lost rhythm. âI bet you are so fuckinâ tight.â One hand slowly went between her legs to cup her aching pussy as she suppressed a whine. âFuck, I want to corrupt that little fuckinâ cuntâŚ.Make you into a dirty little fuckinâ slut. My dirty slutâŚfuck!â He jolted upward, other hand gripping a chair arm before easing back into speed.Â
Make you into a dirty little fuckinâ slut. My dirty slut. Those words imprinted themselves in her head. His words were disgusting, filthy, and humiliating, but so fucking erotic. His possessiveness was like honey. It took so much effort to not ease her curiosities and reach her hand up to touch his cock. So, she had to just watch. Watching was so hot, but so torturous. When he started to get sloppy with his movements, she prepared for him to stop again, but he didnât. âF-fuck!â He cried out, tugging one last time before a stream of white came from his cock. She was expecting it to be like the sticky clear mess, but no, his cum shot.
In fact, it shot at herâŚon her face. Frozen, feeling the warmth that landed over her eyelids and dripped down her face and over her lips. Appalled and embarrassed, how was she going to face him after that? With his excrement painting her face. He let out one last, âfuck,â before tiredly tucking himself away and buckling his belt. He took the handkerchief from his pocket and wiped his hands. Sliding back in his chair and standing, she was sure that he was going to leave, but no. He kneeled down to clean up wherever the cum landed, coming face to face with herâŚwearing it.
Never had he ever been so mortified, looking at the girl who seemed as if she saw death. His cum was right thereâŚteasing at her lips. His nannyâŚ.Had she watched the whole thing? Heard every word? Of course. She had to. He swallowed, and said, âUmâŚthis isnât a great napping spot-â
âMr. Shelby,â she stuttered out, tongue darting out almost instinctively, accidentally swiping the cum off. She winced as it tasted salty. His eyes flickered down to her quivering lips, widening. There was a bit of silence before she continued. âI was playing hide n seek-â
âIn my office?â he asked, not exactly mad. More stunned and quiet than anything. He felt as if he was a young man again, ashamed of rubbing one out.Â
âIâm competitive. I didnât think heâd look in here,â she responded with the same tone. He nodded slowly, reaching out to clean her face, but she took the rag and did it herself before going to hand it back.Â
âKeep it,â he said, slowly standing and grabbing for his whiskey. He didnât even bother pouring it in a glass as he swigged it from the bottle. She crawled out from under the desk watching him gulp it like water. âFuckinâ âell,â he cursed, putting it down and turning to her. âDid you-â
âYes,â she said before he could finish the quest. Nervously, she averted her attention off to the side, playing with her dress. His eyes skimmed over her, heart rate through the roof. His head was swarming with a whole bunch of conflictions. âShould I pack my things?â Mr. Shelby licked at his bottom lip and itched the arch of his nose. âUmâŚwell, I think it is alright. Youâre not the first woman to look at it. Probably not the last unless I drop dead right nowâŚwhich is fuckinâ possible.â She bowed and tried to slowly back away when he looked over at her. âCâmere. Iâm not done with you. As much as Iâd like to jump out this fuckinâ window, youâre still my employee and you were in my office without permission. Why donât you take a seat-no, no. Right here.â She nervously looked at where his hand was pointing. It was the desk. âCâmere,â he patted. âSit on the desk like a good girl.â The words played back in her head and she did soâŚlike a fuckinâ good girl.

Hello! if it's not a bother for you can you please write part 2 of boyfriend and jealousy headcanons for Johan Seong, Vin Jin and Seonji Yuk?
yee part 2 with Johan, Vin jin, and Seonji, and feel free to ask for a part 3đđź(slight nsfw)
đšđ đŞđđŁđđđđ đđđđđđđđ đđ¤ đĄđđŁđĽ 2
âËâżË°Johan Seong
â¤ď¸Johan would not know how to be a good boyfriend, at first
â¤ď¸once he learns it goes 180 and heâs such a good boyfriend that you wonder what happened to the old JohanâŚ
â¤ď¸I feel in order to date him youâd have to be friends with him. He got trust issues (every issue)
â¤ď¸how you met in the first place would be you did something kind for him.
â¤ď¸he seems stand offish and cold but when he gives you those sweet smiles is when you fell for him first
â¤ď¸once he trusts you heâd be clingy. In his head. Trying not to be a bother but he wants to be with you every single day
â¤ď¸as a boyfriend, he would want to be with you while he lives more comfortably or at least if he has money finally
â¤ď¸he wouldnât want you going through the poor life with him because he wants to give everything
â¤ď¸he gets in a bad mood easily but with some soft kisses and comforting touch a lot of it goes away
â¤ď¸heâs definitely a virgin
â¤ď¸but a fast learner
â¤ď¸amazing kisser
â¤ď¸10/10
âËâżË° Vin Jin
â¤ď¸youâre gonna be stuck listening to his raps more oftenâŚ
â¤ď¸not that theyâre bad, just that most of them are about him.
â¤ď¸and youâll listen anyway cuz you honestly like his over confidence
â¤ď¸however he doesnât actually think that heâs the most handsome guy in school, he said he hates handsome guys and that part of his personality is just not to let people make fun of him.
â¤ď¸youâre the one who said heâs very attractive and meant it
â¤ď¸you got him blushing. Thatâs actually a hint of what got him asking you out
â¤ď¸even when you say it to him a lot heâs blushing and pretends to be mad at you for it
â¤ď¸âdamnit (y/n) shut up with the sappy shit.â
â¤ď¸youâre raising his ego about his looks that wasnât even there before he met you.
â¤ď¸still though heâs an asshole
â¤ď¸heâs confident about how he is in bedâŚ
â¤ď¸honestly for good reason because heâs got a little experience and the rest is just natural talent
â¤ď¸and since youâre not a fling he will want to be better for you
â¤ď¸heâs an idiot goof and thatâs why you love him
â¤ď¸like how Mary needs to control him youâd also have to otherwise he will think that he can act up around you
â¤ď¸and since heâs around you almost everyday he slowly dials down his prick side to other people
(I went a little overboard with Vin Jin hey heâs my second favorite in Lookism okâŚ?)
âËâżË°Seongji Yuk
â¤ď¸if you remind him how handsome he is and how you love every part of him he turns flustered as hell
â¤ď¸not very affectionate in public but times youâre hanging out with The Cheongliang Fam heâs more talkative with you and would touch you a little more
â¤ď¸but once youâre alone thatâs when he canât have his hands off of you and smothers you with kisses
â¤ď¸would teach you how to make tanghulu
â¤ď¸he doesnât know much about sex stuff, just the basics
â¤ď¸heâs got 6 fingers tho so once he learns more about it heâs suddenly skilled (knows how to use every single one)đŤŁ
â¤ď¸wouldnât know how to kiss at first, heâd feel embarrassed and needs a little guidance
â¤ď¸once he gets the hang of it his kisses leave you wanting more
â¤ď¸would make sure everyone in the fam gets along well with you, youâll become best friends with Mary!!
â¤ď¸your biggest protector and if thereâs a situation where he canât, he orders Cheongliang to do it
â¤ď¸best nights is when youâre all together by a fire telling stories or joking with each other and then once youâre alone with Seongji again he holds you, no worries or stress just good vibes
