To think that in the demigod world, Jason would be heralded as a hero. His friends would fight for it to be known that Jason was so much more than just the son of Jupiter. He would be remembered as Jason Grace. A hero, a friend, a leader, but most importantly, he would be remembered not by his heritage or his skill but by himself.
But in the mortal world, his classmates at the boarding school would have known him as a cautionary tale not to go surfing when the shore was dangerous. He would be remembered as either stupid or reckless in death.

The true tragedy of Jason Todd's death and resurrection is that us as readers know how much Bruce was destroyed by his death. But if you solely look from Jason's perspective, it was as if he never existed at all. We know that Bruce was suicidal, but all Jason sees is a new Robin doing the exact same thing. It was as if Jason had no effect on the world at all. It was as if no one even noticed he was gone

"Listen I don't need a babysitter... You left and my namesake never comes around... and now all of sudden, you're back in the cast. It's just like when there's a wedding or somebody spontaneously has a kid on your favorite television show... Yeah, the ratings drop off... and you can count the minutes until it's cancelled."

Idiot Relationships
Ok so, I know this isn't a popular opinion, but I think Jason Carver might have actually loved Chrissy. The only reason I say this is the one line he says to Lucas when they're fighting in the attic. He says, "You know how I know you're lying? Because if Chrissy was hurting, she would have come to me!" I've seen a lot of people say that was just his pride or something, but honestly? It looked real. He was crying and angry and I think it was portrayed as a true honest heartbreak over the idea that someone he loved might not think they could trust him. Anyway, I know we really hate Jason, but I can understand his not wanting to believe Lucas.

Alfred gets sick of Bruce breaking and losing stuff on patrol so he gets a label maker and starts naming items after the kids
Alfred: I got you a new phone, just like you asked. Its name is Jason. Try not to let it die.
Bruce, tearing up: Why would you say that—

Obsessed with Batkids that came after Jason's death accidentally letting slip things they know about him/talking about him like he's there:
Tim: "Not that he's-- I mean, the way Bruce talks about him, sometimes it's like--
Duke, simultaneously: "We hired a medium last week to communicate with his spirit."
----------------
Steph, accidentally bursting out of the kitchen while Damian is being interviewed: "Someone tell Jason he's an asshole for finishing all the peanut butter." *spots camera crew and freezes*
Damian: "Jason's what I named our new dog. Right Baba? He's the dog we saw last week at the shelter."
Bruce, through gritted teeth: "Yes, I remember saying that we had too many animals already, but anything to make my kids happy."
Steph, awkwardly sidestepping out of the frame.

As I am 3 chapters away from Jason's death. Let me just rant since I have no friends to talk to about this!
So first of all, the burning maze is the last book we will ever see Jason in, and we only get like 70 pages of him in the actual book! The rest beforehand is just offhand mentions of him!!
Then we go off to his school where he seems to be living the life he always wanted! Just a normal life. No preator duties, no being treated like a prince, nothing!
Then he immediately punches us with what they sybil told him which was that either he or piper would die if we went looking for caligula. (I HATE CALIGULA OH MY GODS)
LIKE BRO HE BARELY REMEMBERS WHO HE IS AND WHAT HIS LIFE WAS LIKE BEFORE A YEAR AGO AND NOW HE'S DEAD AND GONE???
ARE YOU ACTUALLY KIDDING ME?!?!?!
BRO. HE WAS INTRODUCED AS NOT REMEMBERING ANYTHING, LIVING FOR A FEW MONTHS (A SINGLE SUMMER) THEN LOSING HIS BEST FRIEND, THEN ONCE HE FINALLY FOUND A PLACE WHERE HE TRULY BELONGED AND A LIFE THAT HE PAVED OUT FOR HIMSELF NOT DUE TO HIS PARENTAGE HE DIES. HE JUST DIES.
LET ME REMING YOU ALL, THAT HE REMEMBERS PRETTY MUCH NOTHING FROM HIS PAST LIFE AKA HIS LIFE BEFORE HERA. SO BASICALLY HE DIES ONLY REMEMBERING A SHELL OF WHO HE WAS AND ONLY REMEMBERING A COUPLE OF THINGS OF HIS LIFE!!
HE LIVED 16 YEARS BUT DIED ONLY REMEMBERING LIKE 1.5 OR 2 IF WE'RE BEING GENEROUS!!!!

Bruce is a overprotective and kind of strict parent, but he is very lax in some domains where other parents wouldn't. Here are some examples:
His kids stealing money from him. You will never catch Bruce Wayne lecturing his kids for taking his money. In the Arkhamverse, Jason steals 5 millions from Bruce's bank account to buy his army, and the problems for Bruce are: he didn't know it was Jason so it stressed him a bit, and Jason used it to buy an army.
Stealing from him in general. What is his is theirs. Unless it's dangerous. (Cars are death machines for his anxious self, which is why buying another batmobile for the young justice is not acceptable, or is kids taking it for a ride. He did made Redbird for Tim as a gift for when he got his license.)
Stealing from the cops (he has done it himself so many times)
Stealing money from rich people. In Knightfall, Bruce meets a British vigilante named Hood who steals from the rich to give to the poor, and Bruce had NO problems with that. He likes the young man. Stealing possessions is an issue tho. (Dick should follow his Robin Hood's dream, his father is fine with that)
Hacking into government facilities or anything really. Unless it's to harm an innocent civilian, like a classmate, he will not say anything. Hacking the FBI? Good. Hacking a russian mafia? Ok. As long as they do it safely and follow Barbara's instructions, it's fine.
Lying to him. Bruce is always impressed when he realizes one of his kids lied to him and he believed them. He's the Batman, after all, they have been able to fool the Batman. When he learns that Tim invented a fake uncle, he is proud of him and he tells him such, because he made the Batman believed it.

"How did we arrive at this place? You said Master Dick and Mistress Barbara were the last. And then... And then you went and found another child with vengance in his heart. I told you this could very well end in disaster. I warned you. I did everything but beg and plead. But I shall not aid and abet you any further if our lot is burying every bit of family you'll ever know... while you mask your pain behind that horrible cowl. This I promise you, Bruce. Any more and you go it alone."

Duke, who is tired of being bullied for still having only a few spots checked off on vigilante bingo, decides to get even when family game night includes Never Have I Ever. Danny, who is either a friend or basically adopted family at this point, was invited.
He brings up the fact that he has never died and been brought back to life. Multiple fingers are put down, groans and complaints are made, and then they all turn to Danny when he just stares at the ground.
"If it happened more than once, do I put more fingers down? Or just the one?" he asks. The room falls silent for a few seconds before the flood of questions start.

Something something Danny learns that Jason died and crawled out of his own grave.
Danny, to Jason: You actually got a grave?
Jason: Why? You want one?
He doesn’t notice how this could potentially sound like a threat from an outsider’s perspective.
