I fucking cannot with Ei and Yae. Like I genuinely love their characters but when I think of them along with Scara I get so unbelievably pissed. Scara was like a fuking child that Yae wanted to kill and that Ei neglected. His choices are his own and he should face the consequences but you cannot deny that Ei is a horrible fucking parent and its ridiculous that Nahida does a better job than her despite Scara trying to fucking kill her.

Scara fucked up but he was also taken advantage of and manipulated. His resentment began when he thought everyone he cared about betrayed him and I will never forgive Dottore for that among other shit for that. Ei created the dude and then just dipped and that is unexcusable. Yae gets a slight pass considering she wasn't the one who created him. Ei did. Ei had a responsibility and her trauma does not excuse that. She made him into a vessel to take the gnosis and then said nah you feel too many emotions. You cannot bring someone sentient into the world and then choose to abandon them even if that's what you thought the nicer option would be. He was left alone for 500 fucking years. That is absolutely insane. Maybe it's the older sib in me or maybe it's not but as much as I love Ei I cannot excuse her actions at all. God this is so complicated

first off, have something to organise ur academic life with! i personally use notion (which i'll add later) but u can use anything as long as it's cute, convenient, unique and accessible to you, your life and your schedule specifically. especially as a visual learner, i like to have somewhere i can dump literally everything regarding a singular area in my life, so i do this for almost everything along with school and i highly recommend this <3

analyse your strengths and weaknesses. think back on tests, exams, marks, and analyse which ones you got highest and lowest on. dont beat urself up for it, obviously; it's just to check which subjects you're doing good in and which ones have room for improvement. for example i love science but im not the best at it sometimes and we had an assessment recently and i didn't get as high as i'd like so i wrote down a little list on a piece of paper in my pencilcase for the topics i got the least in for me to study on my own to practise later.

set down specific goals; i like to do this week by week accustomed to my schedule that week in my school notion page along with images and vision boards based on the term/semester, but you can do it for the week, the month, the year, anything as long as its helpful to you

plan accordingly based on ur time energy. when creating any to do list or productivity plan dont pile a ridiculous amount onto it that just leaves you stressed and overwhelmed because that defeats the entire point; this works the same for academic plans and goals and lists etc.

put extra work in to the subjects you know will help you in the future. for example, for my personal aspirations i need to excel in english, history and textiles so i always try my absolute hardest and put my all into those lessons and do extra studying for them in my free time where i can. school is to prepare you for the future so take advantage of that

please don't be shy to ask questions! that's what teachers are there for and you won't have them forever so take advantage of it while you can! you can even do it in that little window of time just after class if ur too nervous to ask in class. for example, on my last english exam i went to my teacher after class and asked about what i needed to improve on to get the marks i missed next time, and he told me i added too much detail and some other things so i wrote it down and am keeping a note of it to remind me to improve on that next time! (i got top of my class though so i didnt mind. still kind of pissed i added too much detail though)

participate! ok im saying this as someone who still struggles with social anxiety a fair amount but if u wanna get higher marks and get on good terms w ur teacher i 100% recommend this. i don't do this in every class but i do it where i can and when i'm confident in my answer, and it's really intimidating at first but what i did is i did it first in the classes i felt most comfortable on and continued from there. it gets easier every time i swear, and nobody's judging you; they'll forget about it after five minutes. plus, what would they be judging you for? being smarter than them?

I'm making an analysis of this scene because fuck it, it means sm to me

so basically the scene im talking about is the one above and why (because fuck you l like adam and lute) it means so much to me

first off when do we actually see adam smile and im not talking about when he's being an asshole to charlie or making some unfunny sex joke. I'm talking about when he looks genuine.

Like he looks actually happy, not entertained but happy because thats what it is with charlie. He's smiling because he's entertained with her reactions and how pissed he's making her.

Whenever we see him smile it has this almost evil feel to it (whether that be with the teeth in the mask that he wears or not although it probably is... i'll get to that later). It feels like he's meant to be the villain. He's meant to be someone you're meant to hate. So why in this scene does it make you feel bad for him and lute? (almost depending on the person cause yes i know some of you jumped up with joy at this, i aint judging)

it makes you feel bad because there's something human in this scene whether we like it or not. that also comes with the removal of their masks. we've never seen adam without his mask so him losing it in this scene provides us with the sense that 'hey hes still human' he's not some eldritch being sent from hell/heaven. he's a guy.

this also comes with the removal of lutes mask. we see her genuine emotion. we actually see her being to cry something that honestly seems almost out of character for her seeing as she's pretty much that one character whos like 'fuck it lets power through this'

this also is similar to adam smiling cause it shows you that in the end he wasn't a total asshole.

but back to the masks. the masks make them have pretty sharp looking teeth which is something that we associate with sharks or some sort of predator. yet removing the teeth (actually adam doesnt even smile with his teeth) you suddenly get a lot more of a human feeling

they dont feel like a villain anymore (even though thats what they are) they feel like a person. it doesnt make him feel like a threat anymore so you have an actual ability to feel bad for him.

but moving on (i ramble a lot so this may not stay on track but its fine :D ).

our last scene of adam in this entire show (im pretty sure like yknow... direct scene) is him smiling. him showing genuine human emotion. because whether or not you guys wanna admit it adam was the first human, and he does have feelings that pertain to humans. so why have this be our last view of him? of him being quite literally beaten down.

well personally i feel like this is because the show wants us to see him as lute sees him. she saw him (as from what ive gathered) as a genuine friend. she actually liked his company and liked hanging around him.

so this pushes her idea and avenging adam or getting revenge for his death. if we didnt have this scene her just getting upset at lilith and taking charge randomly and getting just randomly mad at the hotel would be kinda... eh.

like it wouldnt make for that good of a story.

but with our last moments of adam being him smiling at lute it shows us basically something else. that he cared, for what? we dont really know but he cared for something because its clear that the extermination failed and adams dying. hes fucking dying something he seemed so upset over two seconds ago screaming and shouting how he shouldnt die or whatever

so its most likely that he cared for lute making this scene all the much sadder. besides its the only thing we can assume seeing that lute was the last thing that he saw before passing on.

also ive seen theories that make a lot of sense with lute being the only one who stuck it out with adam till the end. lilith left him, eve was created from his fucking rib and yet she most likely left him. so he probably died pretty damn along the first time around

so lute being there for him and showing that she cared for him and that she still cares for him probably meant a lot. most likely because she stuck around until his death, she stuck around till the end which once again, he died alone the first time and dying with someone with you the second probably means a lot

Ok so it might be the fact that i ship them so i see alot of things they do as possibly romantic even when theres no romantic implications, but the amount of times it feels like AidaIro seems to be implying that teru likes akane is getting to a suspiciously high number. Like lets look at this from a non-shipper’s pov (or at least try😭)

Item A: teru looking at akane

Without the context that he’s looking at akane, he genuinely looks like he’s showing something of raw emotion, unchanged by his “fake persona” but a genuine reaction. Looking at this picture at face value one would assume he’s big time crushing. I mean i wouldn’t say “omg hes so in lovveee!!!” But considering he doesn’t really open up to like anyone, i think this is definitely something??

Item B: them going together on a romantic outing

Yes i did make it sound much more compelling then it actually is but cmon man. The school festival is considered a “romantic event” and these two spent the entire time hanging around the school together. Giving the excuse that "it's our job being in the student council" (which i guess it is) but in reality it was because no one wanted to come with them.

Which i mean they also did technically go on an actual date together

Item C: teru trusting akane more than anyone (?)

Teru likes talking to akane, trusts his intellect, and considers him someone he can rely on but doesn't like it when his whole world starts to revolve around aoi. My guy, that's jealousy.

He is shown to trust him and even show his back to him in multiple instances, knowing he wont hurt him, and he’s someone he can trust (lets ignore what happens on the literal next page)

Even literally being one of those “i fight alone” type of people but when akane’s there, he’s never fighting alone

i dont think i even need to break this one down. Its a picture of JUST them TOGETHER posted on VALENTINES DAY. 2/14/24. THE ANNUAL HOLIDAY THAT CELEBRATES NONE OTHER THAN ROMANTIC LOVE. Also teru’s color being used as akane’s sparkles and akane’s color being used as teru’s sparkles kinda shows that AidaIro arent just showing us two characters, they’re showing us TERU and AKANE, TOGETHER. If it really could be anyone im sure they’d put them in a general setting, but with the paired colors i’d say that says otherwise.

first off, this picture.

First lets look at hanako’s. We can see he has two drinks, both red + with strawberries, along with a red straw. While also being pictured near other red fruits.

In this picture, nene’s flower(s) are literally strawberry flowers, putting the association between strawberries + nene out there. Meaning the strawberries in his drink could be purposeful, along with the red undertones. (red being her eye color) (sorry for quality im doin this on iPhone)

Moving on to teru’s, he has one drink, being yellow-ish with pineapple on the side, and chunks in the drink itself. Whilst his straw is orange, while also being pictured around a ginormous pinapple

Like aidairo are shoving it in your face ‘disassociate teru w aoi!!!’ He even straight up left when they started talking ab how they missed aoi at the karaoke place. (More or so when he left they started talking but ykwim) Since nene is being associated with strawberries it leaves the only other person to be akane, this also making sense also because of the straw color. (The straw being orange; akane’s rep color being orange, as nene’s is red)

who would this man be interested in?

first of all, i think ghost isn’t blinded by physical attraction. of course everyone has their preferences when it comes to height, weight, etcetc but i really dont think ghost cares. at least for 2009 ghost, hes a gentleman who doesn’t judge others. tall? short? fat? skinny? ugly? pretty? he doesn’t give a fuck. i think 2009 ghost is very attracted to kindness and compassion for others, leading him to have a soft spot. in the end i think he’d be very interested in someone who constantly is on the lookout for others and is very independent. in the comic hes always the one saving others and taking that responsibility, so he finds it nice when theres someone out there thats similar. hes the typa guy to fall for the girl next door whos constantly smiling, but knows how to playfully banter with him.

i highly doubt ghost would ever be attracted to someone in tf141 or working with him in the military… since to him work is work. there are also no females in the SAS (its true!) with only 2 passing pre selection in 2021, meaning ghost would have little exposure to working with female teammates. even if there is, it would be a huge slow burn romance imo.

also on the enemies to lovers thing—i dont see that happening. reboot ghost gives the vibes of a man who’d lowkey do that at first, but itd never happen. ghost is a simple man when it comes to relationships: i like you + you like me = mutual feelings. he wouldn’t get the whole ‘i kind of hate you because im pissed at you but also find you attractive’ trope. in fact he’d find it really annoying. he was already betrayed by his soldier teammates once, hes not gonna take it well if someone on his team suddenly gets aggressive towards him in the name of 'attraction'.

ghost isn’t shallow. but he would want his partner to be clean of drugs, have basic hygiene, and dress cutely from time to time. stuff like big ass and big boobs with an hourglass isn’t of his concern at all. in the comic he was in this bar full of prostitutes with his team, every soldier was enjoying their time with a girl—except ghost. he even told a prostitute to go fuck off when she got too touchy. so this can prove hes really not that hypersexual.

traits s/o needs

someone independent. they can cook, clean, live on their own for long periods of time. ghost is a soldier, meaning his schedule is different from most men. hes deployed for sometimes 6 months at a time, so his s/o needs to be content with living alone for long periods of time. the fact ghost is also deployed in active war zones and literal deserts while surviving on 5 hours of sleep, means he cant text or call daily either. this person can’t think that ghost is being distant or not loving them enough, its simply the life of a top tier SAS soldier. ghost doesn’t want this to happen either, but the person must be able to feel secure and independent without him… this also means knowing the possibility ghost could die at any point during his deployment.

someone who values acts of service. first of all, ghost has had a lot of people disappoint him in his life. general shepherd, his american teammates during the mission to destroy roba, and his dad. id argue his brother tommy too (used to be an addict), though its not disappointment its moreso “im not happy you’re on drugs”. ghost needs someone who does things for him that proves trustworthiness and loyalty. small things, like taking care of him when hes sick and preparing a warm meal when he comes back from the freezing outside. id imagine ghost does the same for his partner.

someone with good and strict morales. ghost is a good guy, and we know it. he prevented a girl from getting sexually assaulted, spent years guiding his drug addict brother into rehab, and will just punch about anyone who he thinks is pure evil. even after months of brainwashing and torture done by roba, when every american special forces soldier gave in, ghost didnt. he needs someone similar—morales they will never break … ever. even when tortured.

Yuichi probably knows that Miyamoto had allied himself with Ninja in the past, one also named Chizu. It's funny because both Chizus upset both Usagis by kinda lying to them and put them in harms way, leading to fighting ninja, and then the Usagis did eventually forgive them and the Chizus end up being besties with the Kitsune's

Also out of the four Yuichi and Kitsune's past is what we least know about, Yeah we get bits and pieces but not flashbacks like the others and it tells a lot about those two not being too attached to their past.

Like i wish for a season 3 so bad to dive into this aspect. Tho honestly if Yuichi's life is kinda mirroring Miyamoto, I would like to see his father being a magistrate that gets killed by Samurai Rabbit's Version of Hikiji or Hebi and Yuichi having to run away with Auntie.

Toby will beg you to touch it and play with it, he is way happier about the tail than you (and you literally live with this things.. with tail, not toby). Good luck with him! Hoodie wants to touch it a lot! Its not like there are a lot of chances in life to pet someone tail, huh? Who can blame him in such cruel condictions..? Even if you use it as a belt, he loves when you just..let it swing by itself! That way he has easier acces to it, and i mean it - boy is in heaven. He would definitely tease you so so much! Hoodie will anno and you can expect at least couple of funny comments about your tail daily (or at least he thinks they are funny). I see him wearing a fake tail just to mess with you to be honest. Eyeless Jack

Okay, Jack really enjoyes having "not-so-normal" partner (well, in term of being a human). He tends to be a bit insecure sometimes about what he is, so you make it all a bit easier to him to be honest. Doesnt feel as weird - and of course he doesnt want you to feel this way! He is pretty observant (and well, have amazing senses), so propably noticed it when you used it as a belt, no need to tell him twice! Absolutely loves to make you flustreted!! Will tease the shit out of you, i mean it. Definitely will like to caress it and play with it (pls he is a bit like a cat), later will chuckle in his husky tone when you are embarassed and tell him to stop

Slenderman

Slenderman wont say too much..well not like he is the most talkactive person! He is fascinated by people, loves observing them and to learn about their nature..does it really matter for what reasons? We will just move on with that.. Anyways, if you ask me, Slender as not-human-creature likes seeing how everyone is diffrent event tho he had seen already a lot! There is really tiny wall between his hate and fascination for humans. But dont worry, its you who we talk about! He will ask some questions, but in his subtle and gentlemanly way! It doesnt matter to him if you are a bit diffrent, becasue he sees it more as your advantage than disadvantage! Slenderman would be more into intelect than look anyway i think. Wont touch your tail tho..well maybe not without your consent, but he just doesnt really care, he has seen almost everything in his 'life'.

Something that confuses me a lot is some people's reactions/analysis to Sonic saving Shadow in the void in Sonic Prime.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE it, and its parallels to what happened in SA2. That is incredible. But what confuses me is that a lot of people assume that in this show, SA2 happened and Sonic is losing Shadow again.

But I don't think that's the case...? I know it was said that the show follows modern games/everything is canon, but I dont think that means what some people think it means. I've seen some people criticize this interpretation of Sonic BECAUSE they think all of the games happened in this universe.

What I understood is that this is simply using the current ongoing personalities/traits/styles of the modern Sonic characters in games, but this is NOT the same universe. Its a different one. The direction they are going with the characters in Sonic Prime is writing them closer to their mainline game counterparts, just in a different universal setting. The universe is just not as drastic of a difference as say, Movie!Sonic or Sonic Boom's universe. (Which i think is why they made a point to say its following mainline Sonic; because Boom is a universe with its own games, Sonic, and canon as well.)

This is also why I think so many people judge Sonic Prime on what Sonic should know, how he should act, and what he should have learned from. But this is a different universe Sonic! He's a lot more naive and learning to get around. Its why I interpeted that Sonic catching Shadow was not ptsd of losing him again, it was fear of losing him period. This is very likely this Sonic's first world-saving scenario; he's use to just stopping Eggman's latest 'Robot of the week'. He is out of his depth with the shatterverse situation.

Now, I think its totally fair if this kind of 'new & naive' direction with Sonic's character turns people off, or if they dislike/hate it. This is not me trying to pursuade people into liking it if they don't. This is not me saying 'hey if you dislike this, its prolly because you're interpreting it wrong and if you see it this way you will like it.' But I constantly see people criticize the show for not taking into account things that happened in games. Or in this case, praising it for taking account events in the games. Those things didnt happen here! This is a different Sonic!

Of course, I could absolutely be wrong, and if I am, that's fine. But honestly it feels like they're making a different Sonic altogether, and frankly it wouldnt make sense for this to be the exact same Sonic.

So I guess my overall point is that I kind of feel like Prime is being saddled with game expectations it literally cannot meet, via being a different universe. Like I said, hate it, love it, idc I'm not your mom. I just think that this needs to be said and added to the conversation.

('Everything is canon' means 'every interpretation is valid'. Sonic has different universes, so its a lot more validating to fans to say everything happened, instead of alienating entire swathes of fans who all experienced Sonic differently through different media, by saying their experience isn't 'real' or 'true' anymore. And I think the more people realize this, the less people will argue 'evidence XYZ in game and this comic and the Japanese version of this podcast, and this game dev, and this episode, and this writer contradict your theory of Sonic hugging people' you do not need canon as gospel to validate why you like or dislike a certain take.)

Sonic in general is so fun because of how freeform and multiverse and endless it is. We haven't had that in a long time. There are things I love and things I hate, but not because of how closely they follow mainline. Its because I just like or hate it. We should cultivate this new growth and diversity, not prune it to fit into one shape. 🌱

Y/b/f/n looked through the peephole on the door and sweatdropped at both the people and the amount of people waiting outside impatiently. "Wait aren't they the Harbingers from that one game y/n can't stop playing?! I forgot the name though. Oops." Y/b/f/n thought before noticing an unfamiliar woman that seemed to be their leader, judging from the 'ice queen vibe' she was giving. She had long white hair tied into a bun and a pair of icy blue eyes.

Y/b/f/n finally snapped out of their thoughts and opened the door. (Here goes the oocs yall...)

"Yes...? How can I help you all...?" Y/b/f/n asked, sucessfully hiding the dread they were feeling at the sight of these men and women that could most likely 'destroy' both of you. Excluding your dog cus big furbaby is sleeping rn.

"May we come in?" The white-haired lady infront of them asked. However, it was anything but a question but rather, a command. In y/b/f/n's opinion.

Literally scared shitless for their life, your best friend greeted them and letted them in. With the first thing the fellow visitors noticed was the palpable yet pleasant warmth present inside the chambers. However...

They also felt a presence. A divine one to be exact, but they brushed it off. For now.

"Make yourselves at home... Visitors..." Nervously said y/b/f/n as they gestured them to sit down the grey, plush couch in the living room, in which they happily sit down almost immediatly. "Hey, this is actually pretty nice place." Tartaglia said as he lead onto the sofa. "Whats your name, comrade?" Asked Child the ginger head.

"Name's y/b/f/n." They said, making the harbingers and even the Tsaritsa we're shocked, isnt that the name of the first friend that their Divine Creator had made?! What a coincidence! Bbg its not. Its really not. 💀����

"Thats... Nevermind." Pantalone stopped himself from messing up infront of what could be one of their beloved Creator's acquaitances how tf do you spell this word 😰

"Whats that flat box over there, if I may ask~?" Columbina tilted her head curiously as she pointed towards the "flat box" that was above the fireplace. Its the tv by the way 😭 .

"Oh that?" Y/b/f/n pointed at the tv in which the Damselette nodded "Thats called a television, tv for short. *Insert your bsf explaining what a tv is in 2 case studies worth of essays because i dont know what the fuck im doing 💔*"

"So yeah, thats i-" Before y/b/f/n could finish their sentence, they were cutted off by the sound of you calling their name while coughing loudly. Oh how they loved it when you call their name but nows not the time to simp for their crush. "Wait, be right there!" They yelled back at you, before looking back at the 'visitors', as y/b/f/n called them in their head.

"Please, feel free to look around. Just dont... touch anything." Y/b/f/n said before ascending up the stairs.

As soon as they finally reach upstairs, the first thing they hear is coughing noises.

Oh shit.

"BITCH ARE YOU OK?!" Y/b/f/n asked as they fractically looked for your inhaler, you were having an asthma attack for the third time this day but shhhhh.

"W-wheres... my inhaler...–" You managed to say between coughs before Y/b/f/n responded "Wait here, I think you left it somewhere downstairs."

"O-oka—" You couldnt even finish saying that one single word as your coughing interrupted you. Why is it always the nicest people having to be cursed with something bad?! Your best friend thought as they hurrily went downstairs.

Childe looked curiously at the items that were just, well, existing on the shelf beside the tv when one of them in particular stood out. It was a photo of y/b/f/n and a familiar yet unfamiliar person. Surprise surprise, it just so happens to be you.

The person had a beautiful shade of h/c hair and s/c with... white patches of skin along their face and neck, hell, there was one small white patch right beside their mouth if he looked very closely. He couldn't see their eye color as they has their eyes closed while smiling more radiantly than the sun. Yeah, looks just like their Creator, but they still have one more thing to comfirm... To say that they looked ethereal is an absolute understatment. You look so pretty pookie ❤

"Thats Y/n, like the one with h/c." Y/b/f/n suddenly said behind him which almost made Childe's skeleton leave his soul, cus how the fuck did he not hear their footsteps?! "Now where..— there it is!" You best friend exclaimed happily and quickly got your inhaler before going back upstairs and leaving a shocked and traumatized Childe downstairs.

"Ey, I got your inh—" You immediatly grabbed it from them and took a few puffs before letting out a few shaky exhales... Here go the side effects. "Its okay bro, its only us. You can sit down." Y/b/f/n assured you and gently made you sit down. (Bro they made you lay down)

You letted out a grunt at the headache you were feeling after using the inhaler. And then lets just say that you fell asleep at some point <3 they were so tempted to kiss your forehead... :(

the expendable child character is a narrative parallel to jinx reconciling her relationship with her sister and younger self. like i get not liking expendable child character but she does have an obvious narrative purpose outside of just being cutesy for sillies and then dying for sads. also she had like a cute hair dye montage and stuff man shit was tragic :( maybe im a braindead enjoyer of media trope slop but have you considered that shit was tragic

hey have you considered that throwing a character in a show who barely has any personality or any inner world just for them to die because you KNOW theyre a cute kid that people will get attached to is uuuuuh cheap? like i fully understand why she exists, i get the parallels the show isnt subtle, they LITERALLY dye her hair blue and braid it, and she spends half her screen time being the symbol zaun wants jinx to be. how the fuck am i supposed to register her death as tragic when the writing was on the wall the moment she stepped on screen. how am i supposed to get attached to what is essentially a teddy bear filled with C4.

i dont like her bc the show knows how to write kids- violet, powder and mylo bounced off each other and the adults in their lives in such a natural way (excluding the other boy and ekko bc frankly they dont get enough screen time for me to judge them and the first guy was clearly doing double duty as comedic relief/oh wow another dead kid). i do not like child death as blatant manipulation, i do not like pretending that kid was a real and interesting character whos death i should be invested in, i do not like acting like recognizing what a show is doing is the same as them executing it well in any way. i understand CONCEPTUALLY why jinx likes her, omg the baby is just like me fr, they spell it out by having her look at the camera and go wow you remind me of powder who is who i used to be but then bad shit happened but youre cool, but thats not the same as like. building a bond with them, a rapport, shes just kind of this amusing Thing jinx has around and doesnt really care about outside of "kids dying is bad"

finally, do not do that fucking thing where youre like "oh well maybe i just like shitty poopoo tropes but i thought it was pretty good 🥺" how the fuck am i supposed to respond to that. im not like, upset at arcane for fun i like it when stories are told well and get frustrated when the pieces are there and just never connected. i feel like this show has reached a breaking point with how many people it can take from her without it meaning anything after a certain point. half the time its not even her fault it just kind of happens to her in some greek tragedy twist of fate, shes not allowed to have good things and instead of it being like, a conversation about children of war and how unfair shit is dropped on their heads constantly, jinxs motivations and energy is only tangentially related to zauns sovereignty movement.

theyre so like. fixated on her having this overly unserious attitude about everything around her, and i get its a coping thing to distance herself but it RARELY lets up during pivotal moments. its like a story is happening to her rather than her actively contributing- the people would have been taken to stillwater whether she was at the rally or not- sevika would have figured out a way inside that building with or without jinx, they did not escape stillwater thanks to her ingenuity, but because that guy summoned a big ass zombie werewolf who happened to also be her father. the ONLY reason she goes to that building is bc thats where the baby is, i dont think isha as a symbol of the inner child, was inspiring jinx to be a good person, shes just like, a creature of convenience. i guess while im here i can let you guys out or whatever. and what does it mean when that inner child, the living embodiment of whatever goodness and innocence may still exist in jinxs heart, is ripped away from her in a violent explosion exactly the same way as last time? she did the opposite of what vi did last time and the outcome was identical. is history repeating itself, will jinx change? is there any change that can happen that will negate the absolutely comical amount of bad shit that happens to her? this show does not in any way give me the confidence to believe that will happen

basically i think jinxs development thus far is repetitive and gives very little consideration to her as a character rather than an archetype, and isha suffers greatly for it. why show a relationship when you can simply imply it? why make the child any harder for jinx and the audience to project on? why does she need a history, or goals or any interests that arent a giant blue flag that shes powder 2

愛(traditional chinese character/ japanese kanji) - Love

tbh that is a bit of a cliche word but the font has a nice traditional calligraphy done (correctly!) with a brush vibe, and the placement is a bit weird for me but hot (imean its on matteo berrettini) so id say its a good tattoo

2. flavio cobolli

勇氣(traditional chinese) - courage

i actually quite like this choice of word, but the font is like the chinese equivalent font of calibri. or impact at max. imagine tattooing something in those font on yourself 😭 but because this word gives a bit of a ACGN+ vibe and the font also gives some manga text vibes (although! it is not japanese kanji, japanese kanji of this word would be 勇気) so it actually kind of worked for me, and id say its still a nice tattoo. but i dont think he thought this much he probably just chose the first available font lol

3. arthur cazux

战士 (simplified Chinese) - warrior

cool choice of word, but (1) it is quite obvious that this is done by someone who is trying to 'draw' a traditional calligraphy style chinese characters and (2) i think that is a samurai knife behind the characters so it would probably go better with the japanese kanji version 戦士. and also why simplified chinese that is literally the most swagless form of chinese characters????

but still i am very impressed they managed to cover all forms of chinese characters with just 3 of them 😭😭😭 very inclusive

yea his tattoo means monkey. which is supposedly because he was born in 1980, and 1980 is the year of the monkey in the chinese zodiac calendar. at this point you might think oh okay thats cool, but no, because for calculating zodiacs we use the lunar calendar which is typically 1.5 months later than the solar calendar we are all using now and he was bon on the 27th of January of 1980, so his zodiac animal was actually a goat instead of a monkey. big missed opportunity for him, he could have tattooed 'goat' on himself, that would be incredibly narcissist but at least cool

i had this in my drafts for a while… this is more just me typing random things with no real plot or structure . so do not expect a full fleshed out story :3c idk if i will expand on this in the future so here is this…

anyway i think it would be silly… i like to think it just magically happens one day and pc has to go on a wild adventure to fix everything because kylar acting like a snob and robin acting like a jerkwad throws off the balance of the ecosystem

okay… anyway… the first person you run into is, of course, robin… you go to get them to walk to school with you, but they tell you to screw off and slam their bedroom door in your face. well thats very new. you dont want to make them more upset, so you just head off to school on your own.

the next person you see is whitney. well they see you, then rather creepily tugs on your sleeve. you expect kylar to be asking you for “alone time,” but no, whitney is asking you instead. “is this a joke?” you ask, and whitney looks genuinely taken aback, they assure you its not, and slink away like a kicked puppy at the rejection of their advances. you tried to wrap your head around the sudden change in the two— maybe it was just a coincidence. yes, a coincidence! a weird off day… maybe you could go confide in sydney…

lunch rolls around, and sydney isnt at their usual table. weird, maybe they got swamped with work in the library…? you make your way there, and they sit at their counter, working. when you approach, at first they meet you with a mean glare, but their face softens when they see its you. “hello.” is all they say. you try to make conversation, but theyre much less talkative than usual. whenever someone comes in with a late book, they have a genuinely irritated and upset look on their face, sending the book criminal off with a couple of harsh words. when lunch is over, you quietly leave the library.

after school you bump into kylar, and say hello. they dont return the politeness, and insist on a date tonight at a fancy restaurant. they seem to almost look down on you… you reject the date, and they scoff, and turn away.

while walking to your job at the cafe, you bump into avery, who is for once not in their car stalking the streets for you. they talk louder than normal, and is strangely friendly. before they wanted to keep up their appearance, but even as people give sideways looks at them, they dont seem to care all too much. they insist on buying you something to eat, and send you off after your mini date.

next, you bump into eden. literally! you hadnt visited them in a while, and fearing the worst, you brace yourself to be dragged off back to the forest… but it never comes. instead, they politely ask if you will visit again soon. they dont even seem to be too mad, more like a sad puppy. you tell them that you will come visit soon, and immediately get on a bus after they leave, to go straight to the countryside.

the sun is lower in the sky by the time you get to alex’s farm, but when you get there, you can see alex lecturing a group of workers who were caught with beer. knowing alex’s inclinations, you question them as the workers slink off to finish up what they were doing. alex teaches you about the importance of being in control of your vices. it is all very strange

when the sun is below the horizon, you go home, thoroughly confused about what happened today. since when was alex so uptight? sydney so cold? robin so mean? kylar so stuck up? whitney so timid? eden so meek? avery so friendly?… you may never know, but you hope this problem resolves itself
