thinking about how squid game uses food and characters eating/not eating symbolically. thinking abt how sae byeok barely ate in the feast scene with the final 3 as a way of conveying that she was in pain and dying. how her not eating was a precursor to her death. and following that up by thinking about how gihun hasn't been shown eating at all in season 2 despite the fact that he used to eat a lot in season 1, and has denied any food offered to him in the games...........

Im writing a fic where Sangwoo has mega social anxiety all the time so whenever Gihun sees that he’s nervous or overwhelmed, he rubs circles on his back because Sangwoo had major panic attacks as a kid and Gihun used to watch Sangwoo’s mom do the same thing so he made sure to remember the patterns so that he could give Sangwoo the same comfort when theyre together and he starts panicking. 🫶🏻💖 some sangihun fluff for u my liege

You say you want some fluffy Sangihun headcanons? I have some:

Gi-hun randomly gets cravings at odd hours. One time he wanted some ramen and Sang-woo sighs but gets up to make ramen anyway. He grumbles about it but still cuts up some fish cakes for Gi-hun.

Sang-woo secretly enjoys being doted on. He pretends he doesn’t, but when Gi-hun, cooks for him or cleans his glasses, he melts a little inside.

Gi-hun is a human heater and Sang-woo always wakes up tangled in his limbs, no matter how much space he tries to claim for himself. Gi-hun sleeps like a starfish.

Sang-woo loves holding Gi-hun's hand. He always hold Gi-hun's hand any chance he gets. He thinks the best decision he's ever made was when he took Gi-hun's hand during that day, when he was on his back covered in blood and getting poured on by rain.

Gi-hun refuses to go to a salon and insists Sang-woo do it instead. It always turns into a mix of scolding and soft teasing. “Hold still, or I’ll shave you bald.”

Sang-woo always fixes Gi-hun’s tie or collar when they go out somewhere nice, even if Gi-hun complains that he can do it himself.

Gi-hun carries an extra pair of gloves for Sang-woo in winter because Sang-woo always forgets his.

Sang-woo knows exactly how Gi-hun takes his coffee (or how he likes his hot chocolate when he’s being dramatic about needing comfort).

Gi-hun constantly ruffles Sang-woo’s hair just to mess with him, and Sang-woo gets all flustered but never actually tells him to stop.

I love the though of Sang-woo not really being able to say no to Gi-hun sometimes. One glimpse of those puppy dog eyes and his ass is through. He likes to pretend they don't affect him at first, but they do.

Sang-woo being doted on by Gi-hun is a need!! Gi-hun doesn't care if Sang-woo pretends not to like it, he is taking care of that man.

Yes poor Sang-woo has to choose between being held as tightly to Gi-hun as humanly possible, being laid on, or sleeping on the couch. Usually, he always ends up with the first two.

THE HAND HOLDING ONE!!! You fucking warmed my heart. He took Gi-huns hand that day and decided he would never let go. It's his favorite thing, and they could be doing anything and he'll just take Gi-huns hand in his. That's one thing he doesn't mind being open about. Isn't that sooo sweet?

The hair cutting one is funny lol. Gi-hun definitely just wants Sang-woo to do it because he's the person he trusts the most and he loves the feeling of Sang-woo touching his hair. Yeah, all Sang-woo does is cut it back to how it was before, but as long as they can have the moment together, that is fine.

Sang-woo is definitely the type to walk up to Gi-hun and fix his outfit and hair.

Sang-woo is also the type to for some reason not have the right clothes in winter. It's okay because Gi-hun is there.
