Did In-ho get any sleep at all when he infiltrated the game as Young-il?

We saw in episode five that when he was supposed to be asleep (when Gi-hun and Jung-bae were staying guard and talking about their old lives), he was awake, listening in on their conversation.

And the next morning he was also already up before Gi-hun and the rest woke; from the look of it, it did look like he stayed up all night.

It makes me think he didn’t sleep at all during his time in the game. It’s also kind of in character for him to not trust the Players enough to let his guard down and actually sleep / in character for him not to allow himself to be that vulnerable in a room full of Players who would kill to survive.

And how many days was he in the game? I know it wasn’t that long, but if he really didn’t get any sleep at all then it would still fuck with him (to go days without sleeping).

Anyway, I wrote a fic where In-ho’s lack of sleep affected him here :)

ok and? what do you think shipping is? you can do these things and still understand the original content at hand. and shipping always changes canon.. that is the point of shipping. and you also have to tweak the characters a bit since they most likely were never in love in the show. of course we know this.

Canon divergence where Jun-ho DID tell Gi-hun In-ho is the frontman and showed him a picture, so Gi-hun is wise to In-ho's deception from the start and the entirety of season 2 is just psychological warfare between the two of them. Gi-hun doesn't even care that people are dying all around him he just wants to torture In-ho for calling him a mf'ing racehorse. He turns on those sweet puppy eyes and constantly puts himself in danger to save In-ho. He talks about fake plans he has with Jun-ho that will put Jun-ho in danger if they can't end the games. He theorizes the Front Man is a sadist who sexually gets off on other people' suffering. Meanwhile In-ho is F U M I N G as Young-il and trying his damndest to break Gi-hun down.
