i really do not understand why in this neighbourhood, occasionally i can hear other kids screaming/having fun in other houses not right next door to me, but they scream only once and go back to normal volume afterwards, and so that's fine. the kids that visit right next door to me though?? nah they scream CONTINUOUSLY for HOURS

and it's just this one boy too, i think. this ONE BOY. but the (apparently) 9 y/o girl (his sister?) screams like a banshee when she's throwing a temper tantrum, and that lasts from 2-5 mins. like, literal banshee high-pitched screaming

their dad (i presume) is noisy too. i can hear him. it runs in the family i guess.

anyway i'm getting this window double glazed next year. fingers crossed it works well.
