it would honestly be a lot of fun. I would help with set up and be a happy little messenger. Lizard would be many things. From a tent, boat, to any means of large transport. Mystic would be in charge of forging and handling food. Lucky is in charge of gathering fire wood and telling campfire stories! Griff is the heavy stuff carrier. From moving large logs and rocks to allow for good tent placement or building small forts. Kate would be good at coming up with camp activities. Adam and Nebby are moral support and helping make sure toast any wild creatures don’t get anywhere near the food stash. Void and jack could be by the waterside purifying some water. With Chell helping to transport the water back. Cj and some other artists would be in charge of building basic tools and baskets.
that’s about all that I could think of. Sorry this too way to long to do… it’s been rotting in my drafts for who knows how long. Hope you still like it though!

After pondering on it for several days, I have officially decided I did not like the direction of KFP4 and have banished it from my brain. It is no longer canon. KFP4? What's that? Don't know what you're talking about.
#spoilers ahead#it wasn't all bad#I really truly loved the scenes with Li and Mr Ping they were wonderfully hilarious#and the music was great#BUT#I just did not like the direction they took Po's story at all.#and I'm kinda furious they subtly undermined Shifu's character#by making him “fine”/“not fine” with Oogway picking Po as his successor instead of him.#it was only a thing for 2 seconds for the sake of humor but it completely undermines his inner peace character development#first off why can there only be one successor#and second off why can't Po take primarily the fighting side and Shifu take the spiritual side#It FITS HIM#don't know if most people would notice that shifu's character was undermined but because he's one of my favorites I sure did and it HURT#also um the furious five WHY didn't we have them be the main characters with Po instead of the fox chick no one cares about#literally their interactions with Po that's WHY WE'RE HERE DREAMWORKS#also it's become really obvious to me that the fox girl was literally written just so they could cast a specific voice actress in a big rol#nothing against that actress I love her in other stuff but that was a bad move Dreamworks#and another thing#the movie's message about change not always being bad is perfectly fine and good in theory#but such character change is only satisfying from a storytelling perspective if the audience actually WANTS the character to change!!!#I don't WANT Po to stop being the dragon warrior! ik i talk abt high control groups kinda often but i do encourage anyone involved in discourse in any capacity to watch folding ideas' "this is financial advice" video, because a lot of what he says about the gamestop apes being a self-organizing high control group imo also explains the more toxic discourse tendencies, and i feel like most discussion around high-control groups on here focuses on the tradtional kind that has one or a few distinct leaders which makes it harder to draw parallels between the signs. so i think its important to point out that these kinds of groups can still create that same energy as a unit even if there isn't one specific person calling the shots

Thinking about a Twilight AU where Bella's reasons for wanting to become a vampire have very little to do with romantic love for Edward and everything to do with finding the family she's always wanted. Renee made Bella parent her, so Bella didn't get much of a childhood. And Charlie's great but it's just them. Took a brief sanity break from my projects to stare at a wall and think about how, in Soma's survival au, he would end up doing the things he said he would; namely get rid of both the other Obsidian Eight (bar Seiroku. He gets special privileges) and the other bands, which then got me to giggle at the mental image of Soma sending Seiroku messages through the heart whenever they're apart or with people in front of which they can't speak freely
#◜✧ . ❪ muse. soma date. ❫#If they're apart they can talk and even see each other as through a voice/video call as per how canon showed us#and if they're in front of others they could invent a language similar to the morse code to ping each other in silence and talk that way#the Date are the inventions/futuristic band anyway; that's what they do!!!#No more birthday parties where they have to sit in silence in front of a myriad people gifting them stuff for 8h straight!! They can TALK#In this au they'd also be the only black dogs left... which means no one else would be able to butt into their conversations#Truly took the 'intertwined hearts' to the next level by having them linked... literally. ADGHSAJSAHDSJ#Soma's survival au is great amazing show-stopping etc etc etc for Soma; Seiroku and the fellow Date but it's a nightmare for everyone else#As in even IF they survive til old age... they'll still die. While Soma and Seiroku get to live on for several more centuries/millennia#I think Soma would be much more relaxed in this au too... at least after the other grand generals/their bands die out#His only REAL issue would be figuring out how to get enough metal for the Date once it starts running out in a few centuries#bc he and Seiroku would be the only ones who could withstand the black kishin whereas everyone else in the band would die#^ hence the need for metal to keep them going through the usage of barriers and healers#But that'd still be waaays into the future bc Soma told Tatsuomi if the 5 /shared/ it it'd still last them their entire lifetime#which means if he gets rid of the other 4 bands; it'd last the Date much longer. Time during which he can vibe and relax

DUDE no kidding it was such a weird rabbit hole because I initially read the OOP and was like “this entire post is phrased in a bizarre way and at a glance I, casual amateur lgbt historian, think at least half this information is incorrect or at the very least inacccurate… but I mostly read lesbian and trans history and my knowledge of SF specific lgbt history is limited to the mid late 20th ct kink community so I might be wrong” so THEN I looked in the reblog comments and found your post correcting one part of the misinfo which reinforced my initial impression so THEN I was like “okay so some of this information for sure is wrong, who is the OOP and what are their credentials” and lo and behold they have NO credentials (that I could find) and a lot of fucking weird substack articles about evopsych and The Jews
and I now 100% believe the post in question was written by AI trying to make a “summary” of the book, maybe with some creative elaboration by the OOP before they slapped it up on twitter to get notes for pride month
