"okay, you guys should feel different any minute now" Madi says before giving me a look. a look that says what I am doing is stupid. judging by the sadness that's roaming in my chest, I'm guessing y/n thinks its stupid too. why does she care, its not like she likes me, I think to myself. but even as I think it, I can't help but cringe at the loss of emotions I would have from getting rid of the bond. sure, it was annoying sometimes, but hell, Iife gets a little boring when you've been living for so long. its easy to go numb and become desensitized, and that's what made y/n an anomaly. even before the mating bond, she made me feel things. even things I didn't want to feel like annoyance and anger.

I look over at her and I can't help but stare. she's so pretty, I think even as the bond fades into a dull nothing.

"quite staring, your freaking me out" she says looking at me. I can see the tears in her eyes, and ,even though the bonds gone, I know she wishes there weren't any. I knew her and I knew that she didn't like to feel like others had power to make her sad or upset. she never wanted to lose control. I can't help but note how much I know about her. more than I thought I knew.

I look away and grab her arm and sigh at the fact that there are no tingles or heat that flash through me this time. "I'll take you home, it's been a long night." and so from there we head back to the car. shit, I almost forgot about chris. I open my phone to call him, but I see a text notification from him instead. "I'm going to stay, the spell could take all night for me" it says. I can't help but wonder how someone can take away the pain of losing a mate, but shrug it off. if I knew I'd be a magic user, not a vampire. and I wouldn't be standing here awkwardly with a girl I hated two days ago. a girl I wish I could comfort, but don't know how too. we climb in the van and I turn on the car. the hiss of the ac and the quiet hum of the radio are the only sounds in the car. she opens her mouth and closes it again. "what? what is it?" i sigh because the tension is killing me.

"if the bond is gone then why am I still sad?" she says quietly. I note the fact that this is the most vulnerable I've ever seen her. she's always had a strong front, and always had something smart to say. but now in the quiet that is my van, I feel like I see her, the real her.

"I don't know why." I say honestly, but cringe at the monotone way I say it. like I didn't care to know why she was upset, and right then I knew her walls were going to come back up before they even do. she shrugs and wipes her face once. "can I play music then, I don't like moping around." she sighs, grounding herself again. "I know you don't" I say softly "and yes you can, as long as you don't have shit music taste" I smirk at the end. teasing her is so much easier and more natural then whatever we've been doing the past 15 minutes. "Oh it's amazing, you're gonna wanna add my songs to your playlist when I'm done. " she takes the mood change and runs with it. she even laughs and I don't even try to stop myself from admiring her smile.

I pull into her house and all the lights are on and there are clanging noises coming from the inside of her home. its damn near 5 am and no one should be up that early on a Sunday morning. we were just having a good time, surprisingly, listening to music with each other. we both like the same kind of music and even though I acted like I hated her singing I didn't mind. but she wasn't singing now, she actually looked really scared.

"my dads home" she whispers and looks at me with wide glossy eyes. worry flutters in my chest at the sight of her being afraid. this guy must be bad news. "he rarely ever comes home" she says in the same quiet tone her eyes widening even further before she turns to me. "I thought Madi said she put a protection spell on me." she runs her hands through her hair and her breathing is picking up. if she keeps this up, she's going to have a panic attack.

" she did, okay, so you have nothing to worry about!" the words sound all wrong coming out of my mouth. I meant for them to come out comforting but instead they sound a bit like I just want her to shut up and get out of my car. why do I always have to sound so mean.

her breathing picks up more and she's crying now. "you don't know what he's like, matt! you've never met the guy. he doesn't want anything to do with me! and when he comes home, he's always drunk" she pauses and closes her eyes gasping for breath. "and he's mean!" she sobs. before I can stop myself I grab her face and guide her gaze away from the house to me. if she hadn't told me this, I would have never known she'd been hurt this way. I couldn't help but wonder how many times she came home to find a nightmare in her house.

"you don't have to be with that guy" I say slowly and nod my head before continuing

"just stay with me" I whisper.

Zabel Interview, Team Delusional Round-up, re: the past few weeks (months?) 💫

(Based on an ask from @natural-blue-26! This post contains spoilers, pertaining to the script leak. If you don't want them, turn back!!)

First, let me say that @twdmusicboxmystery has posted an excellent video covering this topic over at her youtube channel. This post is jumping off of that, with some additional takes and analysis by me!

Also, note that I wanted to wait to post or to talk about this too much publicly until today, as I think there are a lot of genuine shippers who might be let down right now. Not all c*rylers are unhappy, unruly people. Many are shippers just like us, and even though I don't ship it, I support them. I am only putting this in the Team Delusional tag, so anyone who sees this is seeing it either because they follow me, follow the tag, follow someone who follows me, or they went looking for it themselves. I am not making drama or inciting a "ship war." If you're here out of anger, I suggest you turn back. I am just going to go over what I see.

The Facts

There has been a recent spate of events that have lead Team Delusional to a rare and more than modest resurgence. Until now, we were mostly just working with templates and symbolism, with a healthy dose of informed meta and speculation: We were seeing how the season 4/5 template was beginning to unfold toward the Grady arc, which includes Carol in a major role.

BUT. Let's check in with what's been going on over the past six months. A lot of this new resurgence starts with Emily's multiple trips to Europe for TWD cons in the past six months, integrated with her (yet unrealized) insinuation that she has been in studio recording one or more songs that Beth sang on TWD. Massive financial burdens aside, these are unusual undertakings for Emily. While she has done many fan cons over the years, visiting Europe twice in a four month period is bizarre (as well as expensive). She also talked openly and excitedly in the panel at French comic-con about how cool it would be if Beth returned. Further, Emily's "re-recording" of "Parting Glass" and possibly other TWD songs was a fairly big announcement for us at the time, but we haven't seen any more on it since. Speculation went everywhere from "She'll be singing in a flashback in Daryl Dixon season 2" to "Her songs will be part of the soundtrack" to "She'll actually BE in season 2, singing, in the present moment."

A lot of these things, if they were spread out over a 5 year period, wouldn't matter at all. But the fact that they're all taking place in the six-month run-up to Daryl Dixon s. 2, when we've already been able to speculate her tenuous return based on templates and other tells, is exciting. It's been almost ten years to the day of Beth's *death.* Why now? The timing on all of this is very suspicious.

Now, a few weeks ago, there was a LEAKED SCRIPT excerpt, which was claimed to be the final scene of DD 2.6. In the script, we learn that Isabelle has died and is appearing to Daryl in the form of a hallucination while he fights walkers in the Chunnel. This was confusing for many reasons. First, we already know, given their ruthless advertisement of the fact, that season 3 is already being filmed in Spain. So why are they headed to England? Also, where the hell is Laurent? Further, Isabelle's death, while unsurprising to many of us, creates some new questions. Many members of a certain *other* ship were ecstatic to learn about Isabelle's death, as Daryl/Isabelle ship rumors have been rampant in the fandom basically since season 1. Forget the fact that the same ship FREAKED out over Daryl/Leah three years ago (a clear nothingburger). Any time another female character even comes into contact with Daryl, a notable portion of fans must make their "displeasure" widely known.

Moving on. Yesterday, an article came out summarizing a yet-unreleased interview with David Zabel in SFX magazine. You can read it here. In the interview, Zabel makes the following comment about "C*ryl":

"The obvious thing to do, and the easier thing to do would be, 'Okay, now they're falling in love and they're a couple.' But I always felt like that would be a mistake, because it would feel like you were going into the TV book of tricks," he explains. "To me, there was never a question that [their connection] was something other than what it is, and what it seems to want to be, and why it works so well."

Zabel then goes on to hint at a highly-contentious romance with Daryl and Isabelle:

"What happened in season one was that you could see a connection forming, for sure," he says. "We didn't manufacture that but we left room for it. A lot of season two is about the development of that and where that relationship goes, and that little surrogate family of Isabelle, Daryl and Laurent."

Now, the full interview doesn't come out until September 4, at which point, we may get a clearer picture of what's going on. However, it seems that Zabel is politely declining the "C*ryl as romance" narrative. In the quote, he uses the excuse of wanting to avoid TV tropes; however, he then goes on to say (in a portion of the quote that is being wildly misinterpreted among the c*ryl ship) that "To [him]," there was "never a question that [their connection was something other than what it is." He then equates "what it is" with "what it seems to want to be" and "why it works so well." The misinterpretation is coming with that second part. "What it is" = friendship. Zabel is clearly saying that c*ryl "seems to want to be" exactly "what it is," aka: a sacred friendship and nothing more. He's basically saying that this already "works so well," and so why fix what ain't broke? Why create a romance between two characters who are clearly just very, very good friends when he could go another, more interesting direction?

Certain c*ryl accounts have misinterpreted that section of the quote. They seem to think he's saying that the c*ryl ship "seems to want to be" something else, something other than what it is. But if you follow the grammatical logic of the sentence, you can see that they're wrong here. It wants to be what it already is, which is friendship. Of course, to c*rylers, what it already is = romance, but that isn't canon. There's no proof of this. In fact, there's more proof to the contrary, that they're best friends. They're family. Carol was married to somebody else, raised a child with him, still holds a contentious relationship with the other man, allowed Daryl to toil away in the woods alone for five years because she needed to stay with her husband...

In addition to factual evidence from the show, the C*ryl Friendship Campaign has been going strong on social media for MONTHS. In her video this morning, twdmusicboxmystery also goes over quasi-recent comments from Angela Kang which are UNSUPPORTIVE of a c*ryl romance. The notion that this perspective is coming out of nowhere, which some fans are claiming as a way of blaming Zabel for either lying or betraying his fanbase (and the actors), is, frankly, absurd.

Please note that I'm not saying that nobody should ship c*ryl just because it isn't canon. That would be silly. I ship non-canon ships all the time. BETHYL is a non-canon ship! I've written whole fanfics for Beth and Daryl (well, I've tried lol, but most remain unfinished). It's one of the funnest parts of being in a fandom.

What I'm saying is that c*ryl is NOT CANON. It never has been. And the people who get angry about this, who want to get professionals fired over this, who think that they're entitled to getting exactly what they want, lest the show perish, are wrong. They're doing it wrong. It's totalitarian and, frankly, obsessive. This is not how you be in a fandom, and my interpretation here of the Zabel interview in conjunction with the C*ryl Friendship Campaign is that they are TRYING to let this highly volatile and frankly unpleasant faction of the fandom down lightly in an effort to get them off tptb's AND the actors' backs. They don't want to deal with this shit anymore. And by the way, they're actually not leading anyone on. They've been insanely clear here, in their rebranding of c*ryl to a platonic ship, as to what's happening and what's going on, and while I really do feel for the good people who may feel let down by this, I am GLAD to see that the showrunners aren't going to heed the demands of one tiny, loud faction of a giant fandom, and that despite the haters, they're going to tell the story they want to tell.

ANYWAY.

Over the past 48 hours, things have gotten...weird. Zabel's interview dropped less than a day after the TWD Skybound social media accounts appear to have...posted a Bethyl edit out of nowhere. @sweetz1919 also posted early this morning, bringing together a few more Beth-related posts on either official accounts or *near* official accounts, which post promotional material, and which are followed by AMC TWD. One of these posts is a repost on twitter by Scott Gimple, who so rarely posts on social media, that any time he does, it's like a unicorn, symbolically notable and certainly important.

Now, pertaining to the Zabel interview, another wide complaint taking place in the c*ryl camp is that Zabel is likely LYING or he is being taken grossly out of context, because if c*ryl isn't happening, AND Isabelle is going to die, then how could Daryl POSSIBLY get his happy ending?

THIS is where Team Delusional comes in. Of course, we have our theories. Most people think WE'RE the delusional ones. And maybe we are! Lol. I don't really care. Most of our theories are crafted through a TON of hard, circumstantial, pattern-driven, and symbolic evidence, evidence taken from IRL sources, and hypotheses made after paying very close attention to what's been going on and making LOTS and LOTS of connections over a period of many years. Me, myself, I've only been here for four, but some of you guys have been doing this for almost ten, and for that, I salute you! As I said earlier, TD has been theorizing Beth's "return" in DD2 based greatly on symbolic and template-driven evidence alone for a while. A lot of what we're seeing now on social media is playing directly into our hand.

Emily in Europe multiple times in a 4mo period, including a trip to Paris, with her latest stint being just a week before "official" filming for season 3 was set to begin? Emily re-recording tracks from TWD? Leaked script pages in which Daryl mentions Beth specifically AND suggest that Isabelle is going to die? Romantic!C*ryl = not happening? HOW could Daryl possibly get his happy ending now? The rest is TD theory, ie: WHY we think Beth will come back to manifest Daryl's "happy ending." Speculation and theories on how she could come back, the connection to Spain/England/France, that's basically all we talk about lol, each of us with our own interests and niche perspectives, all arriving at the same point.

SO while there is still no proof that she is coming back, all of this is a Good thing, actually. For us. Because while everyone is looking around, freaking out, wondering what's going to happen next, we are seeing and able to read a LOT of signs that others ignore. And rightly so! There's no reason the rest of the GA needs to think that Beth is legitimately coming back. That would overshadow Carol's role in season 2, which is significant. It's just important that the GA REMEMBERS who Beth IS, that she was important to Daryl, and that hey, people used to really like Beth, and they liked Beth and Daryl together, and that was hopeful, and nice for him, and he hasn't had much "hope" or "niceness" since, and wouldn't it be nice if he could have that again...? All of these things are really there to do just this: let the c*ryl ship down easy, and remind people that Daryl once held a very strong connection to a woman whose life "ended" too soon, and who has really never been mentioned again.

While I really have no idea what's coming next, I wonder if we'll begin to see more astroturfed discussion on Beth's *death.* How weird it was, what the hell was going on at Grady, etc. If we don't see it in promotional material, we may hear about it in-show. Because if Daryl is casually mentioning Beth (along with Merle and Glenn) to Isabelle's ghost/vision in episode 2.6, then this likely implies that he's told her about Beth before, and that he's talked to her about what happened. It implies that Isabelle knows who Beth is, which would be a truly insane development, since he's literally never talked about her to anyone, including Carol, as far as we know.

So anyway, as usual, we should all just keep our heads down, chins to our chest, keep hope alive, but with a balanced sense of anticipation. We still really don't know what's going to happen, so it's important to be rational, but it also won't hurt to have a little faith 💫

Steve Harrington isn't gay. That's one thing Eddie Munson knows for a fact. It's like a the earth is round, the sun is the centre of the solar system, kind of fact.

At least, Eddie thought it had been one of those kinds of facts.

Steve Harrington asking him, Eddie, freak, outcast, exonerated-by-Hopper-suspected-serial-killer, Munson to the movies on fucking Valentines Day blows that entire Fact Of Existence out of the fucking water.

"You mean as friends?" Eddie asks, maybe a little desperately to change what he's thinking Steve might actually mean. A lot desperately. Because surely, surely Steve Harrington isn't gay and into Eddie.

Eddie is not that lucky.

"If you want," Harrington replies with such a casual fucking shrug of his shoulders that Eddie wants to scream. He's seen that move from Harrington before. Harrington is humouring Eddie in that too-nice-to-be-selfish way Steve has that Eddie didn't realise he did have until recently.

It's the way Harrington doesn't push any of their party about things even if Harrington really wants to.

It's the way Steve offers his home to all of them, no matter the time of day, if they need a safe space and quiet.

It's the way Eddie has watched Harrington never push or ask for anything for himself beyond the initial, vague comment that no one else seems to realise is Steve Harrington's cry for attention.

And here it is now, with Eddie, offering him a way out of something Steve wants because Steve Harrington won't be selfish and will let Eddie reject him if it makes Eddie more comfortable.

Fucking fuck. 

Eddie suddenly understands how really smart scientists in history felt when they realised one of their Facts Of Existence turned out wrong. And, like those scientists, Eddie isn't going to let himself keep on going with a wrong fact.

He's not a coward anymore. Eddie Munson isn't going to run away from something ever again. 

"No, we can go together," Eddie says, watching Harri- Steve's face. He sees the moment Steve understands that Eddie doesn't mean go together as friends. He sees it when Steve actually realises Eddie understands what Steve wants and is agreeing to it. 

That smile Steve supported from the beginning of their conversation changes then-and-there. "Cool. I'll pick you up at 7:30, yeah?"

"Yeah, Steve." Eddie nods and watches Steve realise he's late for work, Robin is gonna be opening alone and is going to murder him for it, and that this really is happening. "It's a date," he calls out to Steve's rapidly retreating back as Steve rushes to his car.

Steve freezes mid-step and turns to stare at Eddie. There's that shocked sort of delight on his face that Eddie's only seen the kids bring out when they surprised Steve on his birthday with some truly awful singing.

Eddie gives him a smirk. "Right, Harrington?"

"Right, Munson," Steve says after a moment, face turning bright with a grin that Eddie has never seen on his face. Not directed at Eddie, anyway.

Wheeler got it several times when they dated in high school. Now it's Eddie's to receive.

"Robin's gonna kill you for being late," Eddie comments and Steve snorts.

"Not when I tell her you actually said yes to me," Steve replies, "she's been at me to ask you out for months."

Eddie blinks. "Months?"

Steve blushes. "Yeah, uh, I wasn't sure how you'd react do I kept putting it off," he admits. "Didn't want to put it off any longer though. You're too good to let someone else ask you first."

Eddie snorts, thinking Steve is being snarky before he realises, Harrington actually believes that. Steve Harrington thinks he had competition for Eddie's hand. Holy shit.

"Good thing you did then," Eddie shoots back, entire being amazed at this revelation that Steve Harrington wants him enough to not let someone else ask Eddie out for Valentine's. Jesus Christ, Steve likes Eddie, the freak, Munson. 

"7:30 Harrington," Eddie reminds him, putting this earth-shattering revelation to the side for the moment.

Steve nods. "7:30, yeah."

They stare at each other, a distance between them that means nothing now Eddie sees Steve properly for the first time. He understands the expression on Steve's face for what it is: longing and affection and desire. Eddie isn't too sure his own face isn't reflecting the same right back for Steve to see.

"You're gonna be so late," Eddie says eventually and the moment breaks. Steve blinks, curses, and dives at his car. "Good luck, Harrington."

Steve groans as he starts his car. "Pray for me," he shouts at Eddie as he reverses away.

Eddie laughs and gives Steve's car a salute. "No promises," he shouts back as Steve drives off, leaving Eddie at his trailer with his whole world tilted on a new axis of reality.

Because Eddie Munson knows now, Steve Harrington isn't straight, is the real fact. And after their date, he discovers another to go with this new Fact Of Existence:

Steve Harrington loves Eddie, the freak, Munson.

Of course, that one has its own Fact Of Existence accompanying it that Steve Harrington gets to discover too:

Just came in mind with a Buckingham scenario.

In a previous ask, you explored an AU where Robin is the one who approach Chrissy in the bathroom.

What if the two bond there?

What if Chrissy gets calmed by Robin's presence, and decides to spend more time with her?

She would probably decline Eddie's offer of drugs in this AU, maybe because she confided about her affair with Eddie to Robin, and Robin told her something like she should not resolve her problems with drugs, because drugs are bad.

And after school, Robin does not want to leave Chrissy either, so she ask her for a date, and Chrissy accepts (she's in no hurry to go back home, in any case)

And so they go, and they relax and have fun with each other, until Chrissy gets taken by Vecna like canon.

Only, in this AU, Robin is able to save her in some way (I don't know how, maybe Chrissy confided her her favorite song too), but Chrissy still gets hurt, like she gets a broken arm or something.

The two then decide to run away and hide, because if the police saw the wounded state where Chrissy is, they would immediately blame Robin, who is a well known lesbian by a lot of people at school, for "hurting" her.

The two stay together, hidden in some dark place, both traumatized, hugging each other tide because they have only each other right now.

And then, Robin is able to call Steve or some other of her friends, or maybe Steve and the others finds her and Chrissy, like they found Eddie in canon, I don't know.

(Also, Jason would still search for Chrissy here, convinced that she got kidnapped by some disgusting lesbian raper, so he would still go mad, and would want to kill Robin like he wanted to kill Eddie in canon.)

Sorry if all of this is really messy, like I said, it just came to my mind.

Nonnie I have been obsessed with this since I first read it last night. I've been thinking about it none stop.

I can see them bonding because I can see Robin not letting Chrissy leave her side until she knows that Chrissy is okay.

I too agree that she wouldn't approach Eddie in this AU mostly because Robin says its not a good idea at all.

I don't think Robin would use the word 'date' She want's to keep her sexuality a secret for as long as possible but she does suggest that they head to hers and hang out for longer until they can work out what's happening.

It's actually a total accident that they save Chrissy. She'd already told Robin her favourite song and Robin was in the middle of changing the tape to put it on when Chrissy gets taken. They'd had the music blasting pretty loud and Robin singing along and then speaking to Chrissy (when she noticed the cheerleader was starting to float!!!!) that brought Chrissy back. It takes 20 minutes to calm Chrissy down enough to actually Robin what happened and the cheerleader wants out of the house (understandably).

Both are super freaked out and have no idea how the police could help, plus Chrissy being hurt, so they decide not to call them. Instead they head to Steve's. Good old reliable Steve. He in turn calls everyone and rallies the troops to start to work out wth is going on.

Later that night Jason does turn up at Steve's looking for Robin, who was the last person seen with Chrissy. He starts ranting and raving about the devil and how Robin is disgusting (even though nothings confirmed he's convinced she one of those) He get's a punch in the jaw for his trouble and told to not bother Steve again if he want's to keep playing basket ball (bitchy Steve is 100% not beyond using the blackmail he has on the coach of the team to get Jason kicked off if needed)

I like to think in this AU Eddie still gets brought into it but that everyone is all okay at the end because they got a jump on Vecna. His tentacle ass gets fried. Chrissy is actually the one to ask Robin on a date after this and thus begins a very long and happy relationship.

And is Steddie also happens to happen because of this then everyone's a winner really.

Since the incident with Martyn, Scott was cautious of his surroundings, aware that any moment at all, the Watchers would snatch any of them away into another death game.

Martyn had awoken, yes, but seems to be confused and doesn’t recognise anyone, not even Scott. He’d attacked Ren when he came closer to try and comfort him, and he seemed heartbroken. So far, only he, Pearl and Ren knew about this, and Pearl and Scott were the only two who successfully reached him without getting mauled and attacked, and that worried Scott, because of the last line of the message, Paid by the unforgiving sea, bought back by the singing moon, or the hourglass continues falling. He knew it has to mean something bad.

The sea, the moon and the hourglass. He knew they meant people, and that the ‘moon’ meant Pearl. It had to be Pearl; she was commonly associated with the moon. The message worried her, and she was worried about Martyn as well.

He decided to visit the coral boy again. Pearl had dragged him into his room and basically confined him there to prevent him running around and trying to kill people. With Ren’s help, they’d successfully found his room keys and made three duplicates of it, which was owned by the three of them, to basically keep wandering people out.

Scott opened the door, and was greeted by Pearl, who was holding a bowl of soup over Martyn, huddled in a corner and whimpering. Pearl shrugged as he came in, then handed him the bowl. She whispered, “He’s gone insane,” then left the room. He heard the lock turn.

Martyn glared at Scott, but he could sense fear and horror radiating from his friend. “Martyn, you need to at least drink something. It’s been three days.” Scott handed him the bowl. He only shook his head and muttered, “Sun’s falling gaze, lost in the watching eyes’ haze.” He then proceeded to finger his shirt. “No, I said, drink. It’s been three freaking days.” Scott pressed. Martyn locked his scorching green and yellow eyes with him, took the bowl and drank it up hungrily.

He then smashed the bowl by throwing it at the wall.

“I think I might learn to linger, but not now (“Not now” it was Pearl’s turn). I think you'll have a ring on your finger, but not now (“Not now”).” Gem sung. She didn’t seem to notice Scott before he sang the next verse. “I won't bargain, I won't break. My mind's made up, though my head still aches and all my love you tried to take, but you can't have it all.” He joined in the practice, singing along. “You can't have it all. You can't have it all. No, oh, no, no, no,”

“You can’t have it all.” Pearl grinned, but beneath that smile Scott could sense worry. Was it worry about Martyn, or was it worry about her Skybling? Surely Grian was fine. Nothing has happened to him so far. “You can’t have it all. You can’t have it all,” she could cover her emotions really well, as she showed no hint of slowing down. “You won't find me where you left me, (“You can’t have it all,”) no I’m long gone.”

Scar suddenly skidded around the corner and crashed straight into Scott when he couldn’t stop. “Someone help,” he gasped for breath. “Grian’s Watcher powers aren’t working.” He panted.

Scott let out a gasp of horror. “Sun’s falling gaze.” He gripped Pearl’s cloak, making her stumble. “Martyn predicted this. He knew.”

i'm a bi & ace jewish brazilian girl, 1.72m tall, with long, straight, brown hair (that i've always thought about dying but always chickened out of). no tattoos, even though i have a list of which ones i'd get and what do they mean. i'm from brazil but currently go to college in new york, majoring in theatre and minoring in translation. i'm fluent in portuguese and english, learning french, and have the life objective of becoming a polyglot.

Annie is actually blown away by both your love of and intelligence with languages. She's always trying to learn both Portuguese and French sayings (mostly nicknames/"I love you") to surprise you. She loves the look of joy on your face when you realize what she's trying to say. Her pronunciation could use some work, but it's still very adorable

It melts Annie's heart when she sees you around children. She knows it can be a lot, with kids and their parents running up to her, asking her for pictures, showing off their Starlight costumes. She would understand it got a little exhausting. But you have never minded, instead you ask them questions and make them laugh, telling them they're little superheroes, too

Annie feels like she can truly be herself around you. After all those years with the religious conventions and the time she spent with Vought, she was never allowed to be herself. She couldn't show off her real laugh that's squeaky and high-pitched. She couldn't swear as a teenager or say all the crude jokes she thought of. With you, though, she can let loose. She doesn't have to uphold this image like she's had to her whole life

You and Annie are as equally terrible at cooking. You make a plan to cook together, learning recipes and measurements. Sometimes the food gets burned, or worse, under cooked, and a few times you've had to split it out, wondering where you went wrong? But, overall, it builds your skills together and it makes you feel better about your lack of skills

Annie comes to every show you're in at least three times. She'll bring Hughie and Kimiko first, then M.M. and Frenchie, and the third time she goes along, wanting to see you in your glory, feeling like this moment belongs to her. She shows up with flowers every time and tells you parts and songs she's loved as if you hadn't spent weeks practicing lines and songs with her. She's so proud of you, she can't contain herself. She definitely happy cries at the end when you take your bows!

casper has suffered many concussions which have caused him problems such as spacing out randomly and aphasia (difficulty translating thoughts into words), though that usually only happens now when he's stressed. it doesn't put a huge strain on his daily life, but it does freak him out whenever it happens.

caroline used to be able to cartwheel, but now she only attempts it when she's drunk. she's successful about 50% of the time.

asa talks to himself constantly. even before he started speaking to finn or other ghosts, he has always kept a running commentary for himself out loud. it's why most people at school think he's weird and don't try to talk to him :(

finn loved journaling when he was alive, and he used to write notes in the margins of books constantly. now that he can't really do that (he can write, but it would take more effort than it's worth), he also talks out loud. he did it even before asa was able to hear him (he was basically using asa as his journal lol). they really just... complete each other.

this will actually come up later, but jada thinks entirely in images rather than having an internal monologue, which explains why she loves painting & reading, because she can see it all clearly. elaine is the complete opposite; it's difficult for her to even conjure up vague mental images if she tries.

unsurprisingly, danny sings/hums to himself constantly. he's always making up silly songs especially for kids (this one is actually canon). the only problem is that he makes no effort to sound good when he's just goofing off, so he really just annoys the shit out of people.

beth does so much yoga that she's like constantly sitting in weird, seemingly impossible positions. and if she's standing, you can bet that she's taking the opportunity to stretch or do wall sits. she doesn't even notice she's doing it.

stevie's brain works faster than her mouth so she's constantly tripping up on words. as a result, it sometimes sounds like she has a lisp.

mikaela is a super fast walker, mostly because she's a nurse and she always has to be somewhere fast. but it's funny to watch her HUSTLE through the grocery store for no reason.

one of coco's front teeth is fake because she got her tongue pierced when she was a teenager and she didn't wait for it to heal before biting into a piece of candy and chipping the hell out of her tooth. but she kept the piercing at the behest of her dentist lol

I have seen many of Talia and Bruce are Dannys parents and heard of Danny being Selina's son and but NEVER have I saw Danny still being Maddies son, but Bruce is his biological dad too.

( It could be from a very drunken one-night stand and while Jack knows Danny isn't his biologically, he still treated him like his son which made Maddie love him more )

Maddie doesn't even bother telling Bruce out of fear he might use his money to take Danny from her and the whole Playboy Image wasn't helping.

Like imagine the meltdown from Damian since he's not the only blood son on top of being the youngest son to boot. And if he sees Dani he slowly gaslights himself into thinking she's the secret love child of his father and Selina and might worries there is some weight to Bruce's Playboy Image and there's a 4th blood sibling out there.

And Vlad having a stroke at the realization that Danny is NOT Jack's bio son but freaking Bruce Wayne, the Playboy from Gotham. And if Bruce and Vlad don't like each other than this will be even more hilarious.

I wonder how they would have met, Maddie and Bruce? Was there a engineer convention at Wayne tower? I bet Bruce had to go and Maddie and Jack were there because SCIENCE!

But Jack probably ran off leaving Maddie at the bar and Maddie just straight up NOT having a good time because this was the 90’s and if I am not mistaken a good chunk of the engineering field was male dominated and a bit misogynistic. And she got fuckin’ plastered and in her drinking haze might have even mistaken one tall black haired blue eyed man for another and decided that leaving with an equal (probably less so but still) drunk Bruce was DTF this random red head because he was also sick of all the misogynistic scientists around. (Also we all know that Bruce has a thing for women who can kick his fuckin ass!)

Or if your not into that the only other thought I had was Jack and Maddie have an open relationship and the reason Maddie doesn’t date Vlad is cuz he’s a big creep! (Jack would so date Vlad if he was given the chance!)

Anyway, after she wakes up and takes one look at the man next to her and is like, “that’s not Jack…” before hightailing it’s out of there!(probably in some sort of eccentric way) She looks for her actual husband the morning after. She realizes what has happened and was going to go home and sleep off her hangover before she tells her husband what had happened. Depending on the scenario Maddie would either be a bundle of nerves or she would be excited to say she found out she slept with Bruce Wayne of all people. (Even though he is known for his Brucie persona, both Jack and Maddie know no simple minded man can run a business like Wayne Industry’s)

Either way Jack would be hyped cuz BRUCE FRICKIN WAYNE!!!! And when he found out Maddie was prego be ever MORE FUCKIN HYPED cuz OH MY FUDGE ANOTHER BABY! (They may not be the best parents but they sure as shit love their kids) Maddie isn’t sure she should keep Danny but seeing Jack so excited she realized it didn’t matter because if he was so happy and she would be happy too.

Cue danny being born and Jazz being a big sister who is very excited to finally know where babies come from (and for her new baby brother I guess). Years later it probably would have never come up again but Vlad during his cloning phase decides to look into Danny’s dna some more. “Probably jacks dumb dna messing with their proses!” (Vlad would so gaslight himself into believing that even though intelligence doesn’t effect dna) and he finds not a sing bit of Jack in Danny.

After recovering from the shock of it Vlad starts scheming, comes up with a plan to use this to drive Jack and Maddie apart. Goes to Jack and in the most dramatic way possible tells Jack about the SHOCKING discovery that danny isn’t his son!

And Jack is like, “oh I know that! And don’t be silly Vlad! Danno might not be mine biologically but he’s still my boy!” And Vlad is about to rip his hair out because of course Jack wouldn’t be bothered with that! What a FOOL!!!

Then Vlad thinking he could salvage this decides to tell Danny who just thinks Vlad is fucking with him until Vlad barrages into the house at 9 am after looking more into who Danny bio dad would be and in the most offended outrage Danny has ever seen from the older halfa says “you slept with BRUCE WAYNE????” To Maddie causing both Danny and Jazz to spit out whatever the hell they were eating all over the table. (Jack: I know right? Pretty cool!!)

After that discovery Danny yeets himself into the ghost zone cuz wow, isn’t that a world shattering discovery to be thrusted upon you at 9 in the morning!

How the Batfam find out I’m not entirely sure? Maybe Danny wanted to meet him (probably not) or maybe it was ghosts hearing about it from some fight that Vlad and Danny have in the GZ and spreading rumors from ghost to ghost until it reaches the undead ears of Boston Brand (Deadman) who tells Constantine or Zatana who tell Bruce who just is plain confused as to why ghosts of all thing would know he has an unknown son (who may be dead???) Or maybe Talia finds out first and sends assassins to kill Maddie (who takes them on like a fuckin’ champ!) and Bruce follows the league of Assassins activity and finds that one woman he had a one night stand with and sees her son who looks too much like him to be a coincidence. Or maybe Damian found out first and this was when he first came to live with Bruce and he was still a little murder-y. He fucking tracks Danny down and is like “there can only be one!” And Danny is like “one what???? But jokes on you there is also more than one of me!” (Dani/Elle) thus causing Damien to go into a rage only to be stopped by what ever Batfam came to stop him! (Danny: what’s with the small angry child?) Dami pouts but moves on. (Can’t kill what’s already dead, maybe???)

Either way Danny would be welcomed into the bat fam with open arms! (Dami is reluctant but comes around when he finds out about Cujo (Dami: and I guess Danny is ok too))

growing up under gojo satoru's care, he raised you with lots of hugs and kisses, because he loves you that much! a day isn't complete without him smothering you in kisses and cuddles, and him cooing at you. you're his baby even if he wasn't your biological father! now that you're a teenager, it was something you didn't like that much anymore. you just couldn't help but inwardly cringe and say a sheepish "aw, dad!" to him whenever he initiates it.

you've guessed it, gojo definitely goes "come over here and give your dad a hug!"

But they’re much nicer now! The curse words that sometimes appear, though, make him think that someone’s playing some kind of prank on him

- c!Skeppy: his voices come from a singular diamond that he carries around in his pocket. It’s like carrying around a speaker phone, except there are so many people on the other end. They like to watch him play pranks on Bad

- c!AwesamDude: guys, imagine little creepers following him around... He’ll randomly go “MMMMMMMMMM ME GUSTA” and the small army of little creepers will all respond with “MMMMMMMMMM--”

- c!Karl: music speaks to him! It’s like the music notes are a language that he can understand and respond to. They like to sing and compliment his laugh and laugh at all his antics

_One Year Later_

Jake's POV

Through the window, I watch as the snow flakes take their time to touch the ground. Unlike the snow, the people are in a hurry. Understandable. Who wouldn't want to reach home to their families on Christmas?

I sit in my car, motionless. I’m in no such hurry— since I got no one waiting home for me.

I glance to the street, a lady grabs my attention. Her hands are full— one with presents, other with a cat. Maybe I should get a cat too. The cat opens her mouth and wiggles in the lady’s grip. The lady stumbles a little but doesn't fall. She shouts something, her words directed to her cat. The cat seems to understand each word and she raises her hands and messes with the lady's face and hair. Yeah, no, no cats.

The door to the driver’s seat opens. I snap my head back inside the car, finding Lucas with two coffees. A second later, Garrett enters the backseat. He closes the door with exhausted sigh. “We should have skipped coffee today. The crowd is crazy.”

Lucas hands me my coffee. “Any reason why you are not driving your own car?” He asks taking a sip of his coffee.

I sip my coffee. “I’m distracted. So unless you want want to hit the road- quite literally- you better not let me drive.” I find myself zoning out in every couple of minutes especially when I am doing something boring such as driving.

Garrett laughs from behind. “He’s just sad because he doesn't have a date tonight.” I fight the urge to roll my eyes and take another sip.

“I don't need a date to get me through nights. I’m just tired.” I relax in my seat and close my eyes as Lucas starts driving.

“Yeah, well, you might be regretting it now.” Lucas says in his usual excited tone.

I open my one eye. “Regret what?”

“Selling off the freedom that you had when you were a wanted hacker.” He might not know many things about me but he is right about that. When FBI reached out to me to put an end to that chase and become an asset for the government, I couldn't deny. I was sick of running. “I mean, it took you three months to do things by legal means.” True, again. Legal ways are always time consuming. I’d still prefer illegal means over them.

Ignoring the topic, I ask, “How long until I am on my bed?”

“Just sleep. We’ll wake you up.” Garrett says from behind.

“Or carry you. Bridal style, no negotiations.” Lucas chimes with a smile. He always come up with a way to tease me yet bring a smile to my face. Reminds me of someone. Two persons, actually.

“No, thanks. I'd rather sleep in the car.” I say back.

The car stops on the signal. On our right, there are a couple of teenagers with drinks in their hands. They count to three before clashing their glasses together and—

“Merry Christmas!”

Lucas looks at me, I stare blankly at his face though I’m aware where his mind is. Garrett stares between us, getting the silent message too.

“No.” I say.

“Definately.” Lucas says.

I sigh.

Our hands rise to the middle of the car with coffees in our hands. The coffees clash together. “Merry fucking Christmas!” Lucas and Garrett sings. I only stare at them and I think I am having a ridiculous smile.

It's like the FBI sincerely wanted us to be friends. We are one unit, similar age and are given three flats in the same apartment building and on the same floor. We usually prefer to hang out in Garrett’s apartment since he's a clean freak. Lucas and me, on the other hand, are lazy and clean once a week. But Lucas knows Garrett’s kitchen more than him. When we decide to stay in and work on something together, Lucas usually cooks. I'm the incharge of explaining things or sometimes taking decisions. We form a pretty descent team.

Meaningless thoughts start forming in my mind as I drift to sleep. I am not sure if they actually carry me to bed in bridal style or not but in the middle of the night, I find myself comfortable in my bed.

My phone greets me in the morning. I take it, the things I hate the most about my work is that I have to take calls everytime, no exception. So without checking the name or number I put it to my ear.

“Uhm. I know this is no way of saying good morning but a really pretty girl is at your door. I would hit on her since you are sleeping like dead while she’s ringing your bell— wait, that rhymed, didn't it?” I groan. He clears his throats. “Anyway, she's sort of in a panicky condition. I’d advice to open the door before she breaks it.” Lucas’s voice might not be able to wake me up sometimes but his words somehow does.

A girl capable of breaking a door. Only one person comes in my mind and I shove that thought as far away as possible.

Using my hand, I set my hair temporarily as I make my way to the door.

I open the door. And the thought I shoved off is now standing in front of me in a human form. Was it really coffee I had last night?

Her breaths are unsteady. “I need you. I need your help.”

Next time they meet, Shrub convinces Katherine to come see her home, and she agrees

Upon seeing its XORNOTHS castle, Katherine freaks out, she's asking Shrub all these questions and wondering if she was gonna die today; and Shrub just answers them all truthfully, kinda like these

Katherine entires the castle, out if fear of what Shrub we do(even though she's very nice) and leading them back to the overgrown....and a mix if curiosity; as....wasn't this Rivendell?

What she expected was blood, bodys, and people begging for help.....she doesn't expect it to be this....CALM or pretty

It's filled with flowers and bushes, and some of this 'corruption' vines, but no blood; people aren't really that scared, they wave to Shrub and she just smiles back

Some kids feed the wolves, and it's rather peaceful; then Shelby leads ehr ti the castle and, what other choice does she have but to follow?

And Xornoth is just sitting down with about 7-8 adoption papers behind him on the wall(ranging from Shurbs to Jimmy's) and multiple empty ones in the binder beside him

And Katherine is so surprised to see Lizzie just chilling while reading a book beside her former(?) Enemy; while 2 orange haired people run across the hall, the latter holding a wand(?)

This isn't what she expected to see; not this, chaotic but calm place instead of a bloody merciless one

She also didn't expect to feel like she was being judged by a lovers parent when looking at Xornoth

Katherine's got a bit of a Tangled storyline, here! Living her whole life within the walls of the Overgrowth, and spending most of it hidden away within the castle, she's always felt stifled and hungry for something she doesn't know how to name. A wild flower forbidden to grow.

This feeling has been hers for as long as she can remember, just as it is the Overgrowth's, a resigned veil over her heart. Desperate, aching for....the wild.

The oldest blooms in the grounds whisper about it, when the queen sleeps her deepest, sharing word to the new buds. They sing of a world without consistent guides and rules of where to grow, a world where your thorns can grow jagged and strong, a world-

-without the queen. Beyond the walls.

Is it wrong that she wants it? Is it cruel to think of having it, knowing what it could cost? Despite the thoughts, the ache stays and stays, and the hunger grows.

She wonders what a forest feels like. She wonders what unfiltered water taste like. She wonders what's beyond the walls.

And one day, in their dying midst, the oldest flowers, they say go find out.

A dying wish curling in her chest and turned to desperate determination, an echo of their desire to be free once again turned to letting her taste it, if for but a moment.

Katherine slips her guards and runs.

Past the people, past the gate, past the walls. They shout, run after, try and catch her back.

And then her feet touch forest ground, and just like that, she's gone, swept up by trees, shrouded by magic, lost with a breathless laugh.

(The Wild will never give her back)

And then, one day, there's a wolf in the forest.

And with the wolf, comes a girl.

(Katherine has tasted freedom. Now she wants to tear into opportunity)

hello i saw your klavquill investigation post and ADORED IT i feel like you have opened up POSSIBILITIES ENDLESS. Do you have other klavquill ideas? :D

If you’re specifically talking about pre-UR-1 then of course I have more!

Simon used to gush about a little girl he babysat constantly. He always talked about wanting to bring her out to certain places but her mother was fairly strict when it came to her safety due to an auditory processing disorder. Klavier, as a teenager, didn’t think of it much until he noticed a little detail about the psychologist. Simon is a creature of habit, always wearing black and white. When Klavier had pestered him before about wearing something a little more colorful, Simon sheepishly admitted that he doesn’t look good in color, he always looked best in monotone. Klavier doesn’t believe that, but one day he notices a small handmade bracelet with colorful blue and yellow rubber bands on Simon’s left wrist. When Klavier points it out Simon suddenly gets very flustered, especially when Klavier points out it contradicts Simon’s statements about color. Simon responds with saying that he would never ever take off the bracelet and to keep quiet about it, especially at work, as he hides it up his sleeve.

There’s an idea where Klavier is tagging along with Simon’s investigation cause he’s so cool. And Simon realizes, too late, that this is an actual dangerous thing Klavier is now involved in. Since he doesn’t want to freak out the young prosecutor he pretends that everything is fine but behind Klavier’s back, Simon manifests the scary demon that runs in his family. Using his eyes as piercing tools to keep the guilty back in the corner and his words to keep them tangled until help can arrive. Klavier isn’t dumb, he realizes Simon’s change in behavior when he pretends to be distracted. But he refuses to leave. He knows he can help. And he so desperately wants to show off to his older brother, to maybe get the same praise Simon always gives him.

Now, if it’s post-Ur-1, I have plenty of thought for them as well.

Klavier doesn’t make any new music for a while, but it does help his head think. After testing some new cords he asks Simon to listen to a demo and to give his suggestions. Simon agrees and Klavier strums and sings the work in progress song until he’s rudely interrupted by a loud snore. Looking over, Klavier realizes that Simon fell right asleep. That’s not exactly normal, Simon usually complains about his insomnia and how hard it is for him to sleep. Even if he does fall asleep at work, it’s usually a very slow and painful road of Simon nodding off and jolting back awake. Klavier gently shakes Simon’s shoulders and Simon is very clearly embarrassed about falling asleep. Klavier tries again with his song and once again, Simon conks out almost immediately. Klavier takes it to mean that Simon loved the peace in the melody so much that his body felt comfortable enough to fall into slumber. Now Klavier uses Simon’s sleepiness to see how good his demos are, to the protest of the samurai himself.

As we all know, Miles Edgeworth has not known any peace since Klavier found it his main mission to get Simon to become his BFF. The matching friendship bracelets Klaveir got custom made didn’t work but Klavier did find out from a very reliable source (Apollo) that Simon loves pranks (Apollo did not say that, he said that Simon was terrible for his mental health) and the two of them have not let the office know peace since. It’s mostly lighthearted bullying towards the other, harmless dares to confuse their coworkers, or even something as simple as moving everything in the break room a centimeter to the left.

Vongole gets to live with Klavier because he deserves her. Unfortunately for Klavier, Vongole has a new favorite best friend and that’s Simon Blackquill. Simon can scoop her up and hold her like a puppy even though she’s a big dumb stupid friendly dog (affectionate). She’s very well behaved but she has decided that Simon gets “run and jump at” rights cause Simon will always catch the good girl Vongole. Also she loves wrestling with Simon, even if she can be a dramatic baby at times. Klavier is a little jealous at first but loves how Vongole has boosted her happiness and in turn it has even made Simon smile. Sure it’s still a scary toothy smile but it’s genuinely happy.

Thoughts on It's On (HSMTMTS)

I've watched this video many times by this point so I decided to make a post about it.

Firstly, I was just at a camp and we did Color Wars. ALL of my friends were so fed up with it and we thought it was just really immature. None of us cared. Literally.

But I mean I guess this is the HSMTMTS/Disney world so I shouldn't even be surprised that all of them somehow brought blue/yellow clothes (not just shirts, but like pants too.... I even saw hairclips) just for the Color Wars.

I strangely like the way Meg sings "Buckle up"

Joshua's voice is so great!!

OKAY WHY DID THEY AUTOTUNE SOFIA'S VOICE SO MUCH?!? Sofia Wylie is an excellent singer who doesn't need autotune -_-

They changed the chorus of It's On SOOO much. Even without Ashlyn's high harmonies, it's still all wrong. But I will admit Julia Lester's high notes are legendary so maybe it's a good thing they changed it

The guy who copies the dance move and says "so good" actually freaks me out

I love Maddox counting down with Jet in the "1 2 1 2 3 4" part. Maddox is already gonna be one of my favorite characters, I know it.

JET'S VOICE IS HEAVENLY. After watching this, I literally went and watched Adrian Lyles' singing covers and things and I really encourage anyone who hasn't to go check them out.

Of course Saylor slays. I did hear some weird autotune at "Imma pass it to you" but that's not Saylor's fault at all. I'm really over the autotune in this season. Remember when Olivia and Julia sang Wondering live back in Season 1? What I would do to make Season 3 like Season 1...

Random question: I don't know but in my experience, if there's Color Wars at a camp, everyone participates. There are NO fans and NO one makes literal signs cheering the teams on. The only people who would do that are the counselors but the people in the back cheering look the same age and there seem to be more people cheering than people actually doing the Color Wars. I'm confused.

THE FIRST ADRIAN RIFF ALREADY HAS ME DYING

The rap part is cringey. In the Camp Rock version, the rap kinda fit in well. But here it's offbeat at some points and "rockin' the place droppin' the bass" made me cringe really hard.

So after the rap part when Meg sings "it's on, it's on," is she hitting that low note? It doesn't sound a lot like her but if it is, that's pretty impressive that she has a pretty high range but can still hit the E with clarity (no breathiness).

When Meg and Jet do that one part where they circle each other and sing riffs, is something... romantic happening? Like I mean if this happened in real life (though this musical number would not happen in real life but ignore that), I don't think it would show much romance but this is a TV show. Anyways, even if it does happen, I will probably still stand by Casval (since the Portwell ship is evidently sinking, from what I see in both the fandom and the trailer).

Meg did some awesome riffs but they were autotuned a bit too much. The reason why I like Jet's voice and his riffs is because they didn't seem to over-autotune it. If they did less autotune on Meg's voice, it would sound even better.

They weirdly seem to be showing this cameraman everywhere. Are they documenting the camp because Corbin is there? Idk it seems lowkey weird to me.

JET'S LAST RIFF GETS ME THROUGH MATH HOMEWORK AND LIFE

Anyways, those are my thoughts on the song. I'm now gonna support Jet through this whole series, and I don't care if he's one of the guys who "break the Wildcats' dynamic."
