“You don’t get lonely in that big ol’ double wide?” Jacob’s words come out casual, the Southern accent laid on real thick, but they hook into Pratt’s gut like an accusation, like Jacob is trying to pull something out of him that he’s not prepared to show. Jacob circles around his front bumper, bypassing the physical barrier and pushing back into Pratt's space. Staci’s discomfort is immediate, raw. Jacob can sense it, his smirk widening as he twists the hook deeper. “Makes no damn sense why you can’t find a nice girl to keep you company.”   Or: Eden's Gate claims to be a harmless club for motorcycle enthusiasts, but Staci's alarms bells have been going off long before the phonelines at the station. He's had enough run in's with the club's "enforcer" to know their world is more insulated and sinister than anyone wants to believe. Unfortunately for Pratt, what you don't know can hurt you. Or: Jacob pulls Staci's card.
