Part 2 of my concept for my Batfam Fanfic - Friends and Non-Family Edition

Clark Kent, 28 years old, is the sweet, country boy journalist to the public, as well as billionaire Bruce Wayne's close friend. He's also doubles as the Metropolitan hero Superman. He lives on his Smallville farm with his wife Lois Lane and his two sons, Conner and Jon.

Conner Kent is the 6 year old clone son of Clark Kent and Lex Luther. He lives on Clark's farm and enjoys playing with the family dog Krypto and his little brother. Kon is a farm boy, but he also loves to skateboard and photograph with his dad.

Jonathan Kent is the 1 year old son of Clark and Lois and a sweet, mild-tempered baby. He's a farm baby that will ride along on a tractor with his dad and toddle after Krypto through the fields. Jon loves sitting on the porch with his mom and watching his older brother play video games.

Duke Thomas is a 6 year old kid who lives on the poor side of Gotham with his mother, stepfather, and two older stepbrothers. He met the Wayne kids in school and spends a lot of time at their house, he's very close to Jason. When Duke's not at the Wayne's house, he's probably playing with his brothers or some of the neighborhood kids [We Are Robin ;)] outside.

Barbara Gordon is the 11 year old daughter of Batman's close friend Jim Gordon, and one of the Wayne kid's best friends. She is very smart and spends a lot of time on her computer or reading a book. She is Dick's best friend, but she enjoys spending time with all of the Wayne kids. Babs is often with her dad and loves hearing about his work.

Stephanie Brown is a 5 year old girl living in the poor area of Crime Alley in Gotham. She lives with her mother, but since she is an alcoholic and drug addict, she spends most of her time with her best friend Tim's family. Bruce takes care of her when her mother doesn't and takes her on all of their family outings. Steph especially loves going off the docks in Bruce's boat and having sleepovers at the manor.

Concept for my Batfam Fanfic

AU where Bruce raises all of the batkids from a young age and they are a big happy family.

Bruce Wayne is a 30 year old billionaire who runs the company Wayne Enterprises, which is involved in almost everything in Gotham. Leaving his playboy "Brucie" days in the past, he is newly married to his on and off relationship Selina Kyle, and raising his five kids. Except Bruce Wayne is also Batman. His everyday life revolves around balancing his Batman duties, and being a good father and husband.

Richard Grayson is the 10 year old son of Bruce Wayne. The oldest child of the Wayne family is the sweetest little boy who's always offering a smile and a kind word. He's also a loud and rambunctious kid who is constantly climbing and swinging on things. Dick is the sporty sweetie who likes dancing and playing with his younger brothers.

Jason Todd is 8 years old and the second oldest child of the Wayne family. He is the silly and goofy sibling and is always doing somsthing to bring a smile to everyone's face. He looks up to his older brother so much and is his best friend. Jason always has a nerf gun or boxing gloves on him and he will follow his brother or dad anywhere.

Cassandra Cain, 6 years old, is the middle child of the Wayne siblings. She is a very quiet and gentle kid that will cling to any person. She loves dancing at ballet and painting on her little brother. Cass is always making a sweet gift or dance for her favorite people and spending time with her dad and stepmom.

Timothy Drake is the 5 year old and second youngest son of the Wayne family. He is a talkative and quick child, always telling a fact or story. He loves reading and seeing the world, his favorite times being when they go on trips. He is very close in age with his older sister and he loves spending time with her. Tim always has a backpack full of things he thinks he needs and loves going with his dad to work.

Damian Wayne is the youngest son of the Wayne family at 2 years old. He is a bit of an angry baby, but he is also very adorable. He loves animals and the animals of the Wayne family are always attached to his side. Damian mostly toddles around after his older siblings and his dad, using his little vocabulary to command them around.

Do people who say "Batman says no metas in Gotham" realise that metas include anyone with powers and super abilities, the vast majority of whom are civilians with no affiliation to superheroics or supervillainy. No metas in Gotham in reality would mean kicking out some random school teacher who in an accident suddenly developed the ability to teleport and mostly uses it to arrive to their school earlier and stay later for the kids. No metas in Gotham means forcibly removing an Amazon who is married to a local Gothamite. No metas in Gotham means an alien raised on Earth can't go to Gotham University without the Big Bad Bat showing up at their dorm room. No metas in Gotham mean existing meta characters from Gotham are awkwardly ignored or actively included just to be kicked out of their own city. No metas in Gotham means erasing the history of superheroes like Alan Scott and Dinah Drake who lived in and protected Gotham years before Batman arrived on the scene.

And no, jokes about how the Bats friends totally get a free pass under his seemingly totalitarian rule don't make it better. Having Duke around as the token 'good one' does not make it better. Not when its mere existence involves a 'hero' is systemically targeting a group based on immutable traits.

And if you're thinking that sounds dark that's because the whole fanon joke revolves around Batman being the kind of person who wants to keep an entire community people out of 'his' city because he believes their biology makes them an innate threat. That is horrifying. That has strong racist and xenophobic implications. That is high-key super villain behaviour. In fact, anti-meta crusaders are literally the villains of the recent Power Company books because it's a pretty clear allegory for real world bigotry.

If you want to keep this as a fanon trait for his character then you have to make it a really negative one. If you want to have it be a misunderstanding among the Justice League because he just wants no other heroes crime fighting there (never going to happen by the way) that means some members of the League are going to think he's an absolute racist asshole. I'm just saying if Oliver 'Batman is a fascist' Queen had this idea he'd be throwing hands with Bruce daily. If you want to explore it as a dark-Batman villain AU? That sounds cool actually, I'd read that tbh.

What I think the Batfam looks like (part 2)

I did Dick, Jason, Tim, Damian, and Cass in the first part, so check that out too.

Bruce Wayne-

Hair: He's got a slick back/swoosh that just screams rich guy. He has black hair like all of his kids too.

Skin Color: He's an American old money billionaire, he's a white guy. I could see him getting a spray tan every once in a while though.

Other: He's 6'1, taller than all of his kids except Jason. He's got dimples (especially as Brucie), blue eyes, and the remnants of a very chiseled jawline, but he's quite a bit older now. He's pretty buff, but you can't really tell until he's in his batsuit or has his shirt off.

Stephanie Brown-

Hair: She's got amazing blonde hair and a slight curl that kind of makes her look like a princess. It's always a little ratty and dirty though.

Reference-

Skin Color: She's from New Jersey, she's a blond white girl, sometimes with a slight beach tan. She probably also has a little bit of the accent too.

Other: She's 5'8, taller than Tim and Cass, Cass likes it, Tim doesn't. She has lots of piercings, blue eyes, and just an overall aura of chaos. She's not nearly as buff as some of the others, but she's in pretty decent shape.

Duke Thomas-

Hair: He usually rocks a buzzcut, unless he lets it grow out, then he has some waves. I could see him having some cool designs on the sides too.

Skin Color: NO LIGHT SKIN DUKE AROUND HERE!! DARK SKIN DUKE ALL THE WAY!!

Other: He's 5'9, which is good because he's the only one Damian deems worthy to share a height with. He has gorgeous brown eyes, Tim convinced him to get a septum piercing, and Damian convinced him to get an eyebrow slit. He isn't always very buff, but he starts working out with Dick and gains a lot of muscle.

Barbara Gordon-

Hair: She has very red hair, and very straight hair. She puts her hair in a braid a lot when she just wants it out of the way.

Reference-

Skin Color: Pale, so pale. She will burn so quickly, and she does, like a typical redhead.

Other: She's 5'11 and Dick loves that they're the same height, but she still feels shorter than everyone else because of her wheelchair. She has green eyes, lots of freckles, and amazing eyelashes. She isn't as in shape as all of the others now that she isn't Batgirl as much anymore, but she's still pretty strong.

Let me know if you want more of these, I could do a ton of different characters. I was thinking of doing the supers next.

What I think the batfam looks like

Dick Grayson-

Hair: I definitely think he rocks the grown out middle part and he probably has a little bit of curl and volume to it. All of Bruce's kids have black hair obviously.

Skin color: He's Romani so he definitely has darker skin, maybe not like super dark though.

Other: He's 5'11, making him second tallest sibling. He's got dimples, blue eyes, and a little scar on his chin from some random thing. He has like perfect teeth because Bruce payed braces and retainers when he was super young. He's super muscular, but he's pretty toned from all the acrobatics and vigilante things.

Jason Todd-

Hair: He has black hair like all of his siblings, and he goes through lots of different hairstyles all the time as his hair grows quickly. It's usually some version of a very grown out buzzcut.

Skin Color: I think he's just a white guy honestly. I think he could have Italian or Hispanic genes though, so he probably tans really easily.

Other: He's 6'2, the tallest sibling, an inch taller than Bruce (which he loves). He has green eyes, a super chiseled jawline, and obviously his signature white piece in his hair. He's very buff, and he doesn't do very many of his acrobatics anymore, so he isn't as lean as Dick.

Tim Drake-

Hair: He has a middle part too, but not as long as Dick's and his hair is very straight. Obviously his hair is black too.

Skin Color: He's very pale, I do think he is half Asian though, Japanese. His brothers definitely make fun of him for how pale he is, and he burns so easily.

Other: He's 5'7, making him the second shortest sibling, after Cass (once Damian grows up). He has blue eyes, a very skinny face, and thin eyebrows. He has a pretty skinny build, but he is still in shape and decently strong.

Damian Wayne-

Hair: Obviously black hair like the rest, he has very spiky hair and I think he has a fade or undercut of some sort. I could also see him growing out to a little bit of a mullet when he's older too.

Skin Color: I think Damian has pretty dark skin, and I absolutely hate when he gets whitewashed. Yes, he is half white from Bruce, but he's also half Arab and I think his genealogy probably took a lot from that side, especially since he grew up in that area.

Other: He's ends up being 5'9, right in the middle of all his siblings. He has green eyes, and eyebrow slit, and I feel like he might grow a little bit of facial hair. He isn't too skinny or too muscular, very average.

Cassandra Cain-

Hair: She has black hair like all of her brothers, and she is one of the only people that truly rocks a bob. It's also sometimes very mullety. She puts it up sometimes and it's very cute.

Skin Color: She's also Asian, Chinese, but unlike Tim she isn't as incredibly pale (she likes to make fun of him too). She isn't really dark, but is more tan than Tim for sure.

Other: She's 5'6, the shortest of all her siblings. She has brown eyes, very light freckles, and the cutest ear piercings. She is actually really muscular for a teenage girl her size, but still incredibly agile.

YES the Thunderbolts have a fantastic team as family dynamic, yes they are living in Avengers tower, yes history is repeating itself and 2012 tower fics are so back. BUT!

instead of "Alexei eating poptarts" or "Yelena in the vents", we must come up with new headcanons and make history

Bob always does normal domestic chores, often getting in the way of important missions and spy business. "All I'm saying is Bucky is our best sniper" "It would be a much quieter assassination if I just slipped into the condo and cut his—" "Hey sorry guys, anyone have laundry? I'm doing a load"

Yelena and her guinea pig always eat meals together at the dining table. Everyone has their Chinese food or barbeque, meanwhile the rodent is loudly munching on a salad right beside them

Bucky is the mom and always keeps them on track. "Ava you have a dentist appointment in the morning, and bring Bob so they can add him to the insurance. Lena how was therapy? Alexei, I said no vodka until dinner"

Alexei is always coming up with new promotional ideas for the team. Cartoon tv show, cereal, toothpaste flavour...every day he thinks he's come up with the next big thing. Whenever they actually get put into production (Wheaties) he collects and saves it, and won't let anyone use a different product. (He threw out Yelena's frosted flakes and it took both Bucky and John to get her to stop attacking him)

Ava likes to phase and sneak attack her teammates at random. She claims it's for training but really she just thinks it's funny hearing them scream

John gets blamed for everything, even if it isn't his fault. Especially if it isn't his fault: "who ate the last bagel?" "John." "Where's my hair straightener?" "John had it." "Whose turn is it to unload the dishwasher?" "Johnnnn"
