DPXDC prompt: There’s an alien invasion incoming and the justice league are all up in arms to defeat them. Once they break into the mothership, however, they discover that the aliens were already beaten up and there’s this ghostly child cackling in the control room. It’s Danny and he is Obsession-drunk and having an absolute blast exploring every nook and cranny of the ship, dismantling it to see how the machines work, driving it around, chatting a hundred miles per hour to the definitely-concussed and groaning alien commander, and just zooming fro and fro with eyes dilated so hard there’s only a tiny ring of green in his eyes, lost in the feral serotonin sauce

Bonus points if the justice league calm Danny down by having him fanboy over Martian Manhunter, and then in the end, Danny goes “I’m gonna stick with you now! No takebacks!” and adopts J’onn into the Fenton family, now J’onn has two midwestern folks to hang out with for the holidays (the Kents from that Christmas special and now the Fentons)

DPXDC Prompt: Amnesia Danny learns a lot more about himself than he ever did before.

Danny ends up with amnesia after a recent ghost fight that landed him straight into the Kent's family farm.

He had no reason not to believe he must be an alien too- from Ma and Pa's reactions to his powers to his acceptance into hero circle.

That is until he met Jon's friend Damian- who recognized him immediately. Was he not from space? Despite his love of stars- if he wasn't from space then where did he come from?

When he slowly discovers more and more of his past nothing makes sense. What version of his past is true? Who was he? Why did so many people claim to know him?

He hoped he can figure it out soon before a war develops between fractions that lay claim to him.

(not demon twins but perhaps siblings ;3 or some secret third thing) Below just continuation of my thoughts I posted on discord ;3

Just makes me think the more Danny learns something else throws a wrench into! Like- Imagine he starts learning about the LOA and what Damian knows- then bam GIW are claiming Danny's hero persona- to be Phantom.

And everything keeps going down a rabbit hole.

Even ghosts or perhaps the ghost he was fighting that caused this confronts him to- or to the media at large. Revealing something else to him. Perhaps it was dan or a version of- or its Plasmius

Or a new ghost entirely with ties to that.

Or could add ghost king to really mess with stuff- and its Pariah wanting his crown back.

Just so many ways to make this into a shit show.

Danny's friends and sister getting involved too- happy to see Danny safe- but Danny just confused.

His brain hurts and he's at a lost at who he is.

Even worse if his dna did show him as part alien. So his world is flipped on its head even once he remembers himself- or the part of himself he knows the most.

I think it would be a fun idea to play with. Creating more and more mystery. And by the time Danny gets some idea- something else happens.

LOA is pissed, GIW are too- Ghost problem is ramping up - everyone wanting to take claim to Danny and Danny just wants to know who he is and how stop the fighting.

But imagine Danny getting acceptance from the league- and maybe they finally get answers who Danny's parents are- why does he have alien dna Danny actually going through puberty with his powers same time as his accident so he never knew and imagine Danny saves the world and becomes into himself. He still doesn't have all the answers but he has enough to know WHO he is- and he's not going to let others taint that image for him.

He's sure he'll find out more as time comes but for now- he's who he strives to be. it definitely be such a big ass story but it would be fun to play with different identities maybe a few red herrings if you want to be extra- but i think just even knowing all of danny's identities be interesting. how people have perceived him to what he actually has done and was. maybe before they use slade to make respawn they experimented with another hero dna or an alien dna in general that was unfortunate to cross their path- and the two grew up together- but found Damian's compassion towards the other as a hindrance. maybe booster gold or impulse know danny from the future due to time travel and/or how he was seen. or if anyone from bad time line before traveling back only remember Dan. ewe luckily Ma and Pa kent supporting Danny through this and protecting him- bats too

So he isn't all on his own but he's certainly confused.

Imagine they help him the most in accepting who he is.

I have no direct evidence of this but I headcanon that Pa Kent thinks the Watchtower is slightly ridiculous, sounds uncomfortable to be in, and an example of how rich people will just spend their money on anything huh (this is after hearing who paid for that thing and having said person across the dinner table from him).

a sugar adiction

Ok, can you imagine a world where Kryptonians’ metabolism requires a lot of sugar, and they also age slowly and have problems if they don't consume enough?

Clark Kent was five years old, though no one would believe it just by looking at him. He seemed like a three-year-old, with chubby cheeks and curious eyes, but with a gaze that Martha and Jonathan Kent had learned to interpret as someone who saw much more than he said. And for some reason, all the sweets in the house disappeared as quickly as they bought them.

“Jonathan, I swear I left a jar of jam in the pantry yesterday,” Martha said, checking the empty shelves over and over again. The jars of honey, the sugar, the cookies; nothing was safe when Clark was around. But what child, no matter how small, could finish an entire jar of jam in a day?

Jonathan sighed, both amused and concerned. “It must be a phase,” he replied, watching the child play among the chickens outside. Clark seemed normal, but the Kents had started noticing strange things. Like how he appeared exhausted if he didn't get something sweet during the day, or how, even though he ate an incredible amount of sweets, he remained thin and small. Very small.

Clark heard the sound of the door and turned to them with a sugary smile, small smudges of jam on the corners of his lips.

“Were you in the pantry, Clark?” Martha asked gently. The boy looked down, part amused and part guilty.

“I was hungry, Mom.”

Martha knelt down to wipe his face with a cloth, her fingers pausing for a moment on Clark's cheeks, soft as those of a much younger child. At five years old, he still had delicate skin and the eyes of a little boy, and sometimes Martha couldn't help but let a silent worry slip into her thoughts. Other kids his age already looked more grown-up, stronger. Clark, on the other hand, was like a mystery.

But the problems weren't limited to his size. There were nights when the boy would wake up gasping, saying that the air felt heavy, as if breathing the Earth’s atmosphere took effort. Martha and Jonathan would find him in the middle of the night, sitting up in bed, gazing out the window at the sky with that melancholic expression that only he had, as if he somehow knew he didn't quite belong to that place.

“What do you see out there, Clark?” his mother would ask, stroking his hair. The boy would smile, not knowing how to respond. He didn't know why, but some nights he felt just a little bit closer to the stars, even though he didn't understand why that attraction existed.

It wasn't just his slow growth or his obsession with sweets. Sometimes, Clark had trouble with his eyes. He said they hurt, especially when he stared at something for too long. Once, while trying to cut carrots in the kitchen, Martha was startled to see Clark staring at the carrot with a strange intensity.

“Mom…” the boy said in a low voice, “I can see inside the carrot.”

Martha stopped, her knife in mid-air. “What do you mean, son?”

“It’s just that… I can see inside things. Like shadows. I see them even when I don't want to see them,” he said, with the confusion of someone who still doesn’t understand what his eyes are seeing.

From that day on, the Kents began to understand that Clark had a different vision, one that sometimes showed him things no one else could see. Martha tried to make him feel that this wasn’t wrong, that it was part of him, but she couldn't help but wonder what else awaited her son.

Clark meeting Jon for the first time in the hospital, and being absolutely smitten with the life he's created. His little fingers wrap around his own index, and he can feel his heart stop.

Konner flying by the window, his heart breaking a little bit. That baby could have been—should have been—him. He should have been born of love and not of greed.

Kon making sure that his little brother is safe as he parades around Metropolis, lurking just behind as he watches the boy grow into his powers. Whenever a bad guy gets a little too close, who's really watching to see where that laser came from?

He's proud to see the boy grow up so fast, become something he wishes he could have been. He's happy to know that Jonathan is loved and cared for, and he's not being forced to be a hero—he just wants to be one.

And, of course, Jon knows about Kon. He sees him from the corners of his eyes, he's read all the papers about him, and he's forced Damian to hunt out his history for him. Kon is his idol, second only to his father. Their father.

For now, he'll just pretend that he doesn't know about the leather-clad shadow in his vision and carry on with his day. Maybe someday they'll "meet" and he can get to know his brother personally.

Do you ever think about Martha and John Kent and how happy they were to have a son? Like this was a couple who tried for years to have a baby and to extend their little family. At some point they probably, planned and dreamed, of having a big family with a bunch of kids. And at some point they had to realize that dream would never be theirs.

So to find Clark and get to love him and raise him and be parents probably meant a lot. Sure it wasn’t easy but they had to have known that it wasn’t going to be. I mean raising a normal kid is hard on its own but an alien one? Insane. Still they took him in because he needed them. They didn’t care that he wasn’t from earth, he was a baby and he needed parents. And they were so ready to love him.

And when that baby, who was incredible for so many reasons, grew up and made his own family, he gave them more.

He gave them another son, a daughter, and a grandson. Each just as incredible and amazing as that baby who first crash landed on their farm.

I just think that when Lois and all three of those boys are in that little farm house, the Kents just feel so whole and happy. To be able to look around and see the family they once thought they’d never have.

Clark: you’ll be great. People of Earth can be great. They wish to be. They just need a light to show the way.

He traces the symbol…

Clark: you carry all of us with you. I believe in you, my son.

Y/N simply nods before shooting off into the sky, flying high…

Think about how Lois probably realizes that she can never see her son’s cute hand writing, how Lois had to sit alone all by herself when her man and son disappeared and she didn’t know where they were. Think about how Lois had to see Jon’s art projects on the fridge and pull them down, how she probably stares at her little gifts from her baby son… journels and diaries saying “Mom’s Adventure Journel” and realize she’s never getting that excitement again. No more childlike whimsy. Jon’s already ready to leave her.

How she had to throw out all of Jon’s old baby clothes and sell his toys. How Jon never asks her questions due to his childish curiosity of the world. How he doesn’t need it. How he doesn’t need her.

Not even love, he’s trying to find affirmation and structure in someone else entirely.

People are like “people only care about the age up because of damian!” Clark and Lois will always be my biggest concern.
