omg so like, Dazai and the shipping container incident with him getting shipped overseas got me thinking... (I am super late to reading it 😭)

Chuuya, unaware of what happened in the moment because he had been sent overseas himself for an international mission, and he had to go out and scout a foreign shipyard for illegal weapon shipments.

AT THE SAME TIME, he conveniently receives a message forward by Mori to be on the lookout for one of their own agents because a Port Mafia member had been taken hostage around the location Chuuya was in.

Chuuya's ??? because why hadn't he been notified that someone was also either on the same mission as him or had managed to be such a bumbling fool that they got caught by foreign enemies. ANYWAY, he keeps an eye out for anything suspicious while still working on his own mission when he sees a particular area of the shipyard had been surrounded by armed foreign criminals, so he's ready to go bust some ass when they all swing the shipping container doors open and barge in to see Dazai there.

Chuuya just facepalms himself in disbelief because he can't believe Dazai followed him all the way to another country (even though it was totally coincidental) but also, he's not even surprised that Dazai managed to get himself caught by the enemy. Again.

They kick some enemy ass and Dazai gets shipped back home on the next plane back to Yokohama, and Chuuya overhears Dazai complaining to Mori on the phone: "What about my home?!"

WIP Wednesday (8/30) | Arsonist Neil / Firefighter Andrew AU

After the fire is finally out, Andrew is tired. He needs a shower, a cupcake, and a nap. In that order. So that’s what he does. He washes off the day’s soot and sweat, changes clothes, and grabs one of the double chocolate treats Renee made the night before. As he bites into it, he sighs happily to himself. The woman knows how to bake. If Andrew were straight… If they both were straight, it could be a beautiful relationship. However, he’s not and she's not and she’s got a live-in girlfriend. It would never work.

As he tosses the wrapper in the trash, he considers grabbing a second.

“Hey, Minyard. You okay?” calls Boyd. Andrew nods and turns to go upstairs. He’ll get another after his nap, he decides on his way.

When he wakes up, the first thing he thinks of are those damn cupcakes. Which there are no more of. Andrew frowns at the box they’d been in earlier.  Damn it. His eyes skim over the rest of the desk and land on the incident report for today’s fire. He snatches it up and flips through, wondering about the cause. That pizza place had been sitting empty since before Andrew came to Columbia. For it to suddenly go poof… Must have been some old electrical problem.

The report tells him that the point of origin was the front door and spread quickly. Possibly started with gasoline or some other accelerant. Arson, huh? Andrew cocks a brow. The owners must’ve done it, Andrew’s seen it before.

He flips the page. No suspects— the building’s owners have been out of town for a week, says the paper. Witnesses: None.

Oh fuck. Andrew rolls his eyes. There was a witness, but Andrew didn’t think to ask him anything. He was distracted. By big blue eyes and freckles and, of course, the fire. He should’ve asked the guy. Wait a second.

Andrew’s brows furrow as he goes back to read the last couple lines. And then it hits him. That boy couldn’t have… No way. Oh fuck. That incredibly hot guy was the arsonist. Of course he was! Goddamn, Andrew’s bad at his job. And he’s fucking stupid too. Why else would someone be standing there, cool as a cucumber, with a blaze roaring not ten feet away? 

He raises a hand to pinch the bridge of his nose. He let an arsonist get away. He told the guy it wasn’t safe, for fuck’s sake! Andrew blinks and remembers that gorgeous smile. ‘Thank you, Mr. Firefighter,’ rings in his head like an alarm. Shit. Wymack is gonna ream him out for this. Andrew considers that conversation and makes a face before putting the paperwork back where he found it. No one needs to know what he saw. It’s not like it’s gonna happen again.

Have ur ever got the energy Abt sasusaku being like tragic? I not really into them bc I never got the right vibes for them to really appeal to me so I never really cared or paid attention to them in a romantic sense but after seeing some ppl talking Abt them divorcing put this ideas into my mind of them clearly loving caring respecting and trusting each other but being together as in married or commiting ina relationship doesn't make them happy or it even makes them unhappy but the idea of letting go especially now it's so painful that they stay and even when they try to break it of they end up back together bc staying with each other is always a better option then being without the other even if they know it's not doing the good

But idk um a sucker for divorce and doomed tragic relationships and am being a bit delusional lol

i do think there is a lot of tragedy around sasuke and sakura's relationship, yeah. there is so much grief there, with sasuke's history and trauma and sakura's complicated feelings towards him, so many years of waiting and all of it festering.

i like to think that with time, patience and the love they undoubtedly share they're able to figure it out, and thats part of why i like them, how complicated their relationship is - but just as easily there is a possibility of them not being able work it out, of course. and that's also interesting.

i can see it going the way you're pointing out, especially if you consider how sasuke behaves in boruto, which i personally don't because i find it ooo. in that universe, divorce is the answer yup. god, they'd grow to resent each other so much, it'd be super toxic.

all in all, for sasusaku to work out, there has to be a lot of healing on both sides, so much maturity and grace in both of them. i could see sakura making herself smaller for sasuke, as she often did when she was a child, and sasuke being emotionally unavailable, and taking and taking from sakura. i could see them being stuck in that dynamic, loving each other so much still, unable to let go.

that is tragic indeed, but in my interpretation by the end of the manga neither sasuke nor sakura are those people anymore/they are well on their way of leaving those people behind, and that's why i place my bets on them figuring it out 😝

NEHQHABABAHAHA YEAH NO NO LITERALLY. piepoe is used to being alone and has a sort of social uncomfort due to it? But not in the sense of social anxiety, in the sense of "I need to leave right now or someone is going to be thrown" kind of sense. Of course Piepoe doesn't become hostile until extremely bothered by a social presence, aka someone who persists despite her leaving for some alone time. Then she just grabs them and throws them far away from it!!

He does his best but he fucking sucks at getting out of social situations in a polite manner they just up and leave without saying a word or grab the thing bothering and throw them anywhere that isnt near herself😭😭😭🙏

3. What ideas come from when you were little

I have two OCs that have really stood the test of time: Akane and Kin - though their names have changed over time haha ♪ They were the first ever queer couple I made, long long loooong before I was out even to myself and shock among shocks, they're angels lol ♥ I remember I even wrote a short story about them from like - middle school probably?? as part of an assignment haha. They've been with me for a loooong time, and I'm still very fond of them 💕

4. Fav character/subject that's a bitch to draw

GLaDOS is so beautiful and I am so bad at drawing machine parts jfdklsasdf. I'm determined to draw her from both games now tho! Her design in Portal 1 is so weird!! <3

Plushies, no contest. Drawings the seams and darts and stitches and wear and fluff and fabric vs. fur I just ugh it's all so satisfying! The way the cloth folds over itself or stands firm on its own over well-stuffed filling! I love plushies!! Funny enough, I rarely use them as props tho haha - that's usually things like books, cups, pencils, etc.

20. Something everyone else finds hard to draw but you enjoy

I haven't heard the complaint in earnest in a while, just in a jokey fashion, but I really really enjoy drawing hands :) Hand expressions are so fun to me! They're just as expressive as faces - especially masked characters haha - and they're so versatile! Come in so many shapes, some hard, some rubberhose wiggly, some sharp and Shaped, but they still all emote similarly. Even just slight position changing can change the temperature of how it reads! It's a challenge for sure but it's just so satisfying >:3c
