im sure no one cares but my dad's obsession with fernando is so bad that it makes him forget that there's an actual race going on… we made it to lap 3 before he asked "oh max got in the lead??" (and then lap 4 before asking about charles and lando) because he's watching fernando's onboard on his phone….. didnt matter that i (and the commentators) already talked about those two events 🫠🫠

JAAACCCKKKKKKK I WAS ABLE TO GO TO THE FRIDAY SESSION OF INDYCAR IN TORONTO BC ITS FREE AND I GOT FREE PADDOCK PASSES AND AHHHHH IT WAS AMAZING AND I WATCHED FP1

Anyways here’s what happened (im sorry it’s super long but i have to document this so i dont forget):

- I took a picture with Callum illot and he was so seeet and soft spoken and he smiled in the pic and AHHHH and I can’t tell if after the pic he said thank you or love you in a thankful manner bc it was so loud in the Exhibition Centre and ofc British accent

- Signature from Christian Lundgaard

- We weren’t able make it to the line to grab autographs bc the session was only an hour long and the line for the section of drivers I want to see was very very long but I was able to call out to David malukas and ask if I could have an autograph card and he gave me one

- I got a picture with Scott Dixon

- I have pics of pato o’ward from a distance he’s so pretty irl

- I have pics of Rinus Veekay and David Malukas and Marcus Armstrong that’s blurry from a distance 💀💀

- I also have pics of hinchcliffe from a distance but I couldn’t get a pic with him bc he was busy talking to someone else and there was a crowd already forming around him and I didn’t want to contribute to said crowd

- I couldn’t get an autograph card of pato bc the autograph session ended just as I was allowed in front of the tables and so many people just crowded around his section of the table and everyone took the autograph cards and I’m like yeah too many people maybe next year

- I DIDNT GET TO SEE MARCUS ARMSTRONG AND AHHHHHHH I WANTED TO MEET HIM AND ASK ABT SCREAMING MEALS SM BUT I SAW HIM FROM A DISTANCE SO IG THAT COUNTS

- I have pictures of Robert Schwartzman

- René has taken around 70 flights back and forth Europe and North America (mainly the States ofc)

- Watched Callum and Robert ride on scooters to their garage 💀💀

- René said Sebas is doing another season of f2 with Prema

- I talked to René for a bit and he was very nice and enthusiastic abt the progress the Indycar team is making and that in both Europe and America their goals of exceeding and making it to the top are very similar when I asked abt like the differences in his experience of the racing in America and in Europe idk if that makes sense

- When I tried to talk to René in the paddock some guy beat me to it and talked to him for like several minutes and I just stood to the side awkwardly waiting cause I wanna take a picture with René. René like eventually awkward starts slowly stepping towards me and the other guy eventually ends the convo after like five minutes and I ask René for a picture he says yes we get a few pictures I start asking questions and not even like one minute in the same guy that jumped to talk to René before me jumps into our convo and starts mansplaining to me abt Prema and practically talking AT René, with René trying to keep up convo. And this random guy is like ‘Yeah this is Prema’s first year in Indycar and if you follow their European series you would know how good they are’ LIKE YES IK THEYRE GOOD IVE BEEN FOLLOWING PREMA FOR ALMOST AS LONG AS IVE BEEN IN F1 WHICH IS TWO YEARS NOW-

- l I just nodded along like yes I know in their junior series they are very good And the guy was talking abt F2 /!: he couldn’t remember the name of the driver and I was like ‘yeah, like Montoya’ and the guy side eyes me and started asking abt Montoya specifically in F2 and I was like ‘okay then, damn’ quietly to myself. (That’s when René mentioned that Seb is doing another season with Prema) And then some other random guy that’s with the first random guy comes up on my other side and I’m being almost cornered by two grown man AS A LATE TEEN GIRL LIKE WHAT WHY I JUST WANTED TO TALK TO REMÉ WHY ARE BOTH MEN JUST TO EITHER SIDE OF ME- AND THIS ONE GUY WHO HAD ALREADY BEEN SPEAKING WITH RENE FOR SEVERAL MINUTES JUMPED IN LIKE THAT AND WAS LIKE YEAH I KNOW A GUY THAT RACES AGAINST SOMEONE ELSE IN PREMA AND THE GUYS AT PREMA ARE JUST SO GOODand I was just so confused like what ??? how did that become the topic of convo but okay??? They jumped in, in the middle of my convo with René 😭😭

- so I just awkwardly backed out and say thanks to René for taking a picture with me and he said no problem with a smile and I walk away like wtf just happened

- Oh also while talking about Sebastian Montoya , René referred to him as Sebas and I’m like oooo nicknames 🥹🥹

I have something to share with you guys about Paul lol. He was part of a youth soccer club in estonia called FC Tiigrid. If you guys go to their facebook page, there are plenty of pictures of baby paul playing soccer. There are a few videos too. The kids were grouped based on the year they were born so if you look at the albums with 2004 on them you can see him there lol. Happy stalking everyone 😊
