Pictures and things
#photo diary#image 1 - pretty sky!.. so many sky photos as always#2 & 3 - baby son keeping me company during one of my Sickness days where I kind of just sit on the floor in a blanket#for hours slowly sipping pedialyte and having applesauce and such lol#He likes to bite the squeezy apple sauce pouches.. and try to steal the heating pad#4. Sky again. lighter more scattered fluffy clouds.#5 - greeting card that I drew at someone's request so they could send it to their elderly family member lol.. It's like.. cats baking#in a kitchen I guess? My eternal curse.. being the number one lover of cats in the world yet still somehow barely having a grasp#on their anatomy so they always look ridiculous when I draw them. I have both drawn and looked at cats for my entire life basically#yet somehow those two things do not come together to make me a good cat artist.. alas..#6 - underpart of an outfit I did (and havent yet posted of course because of my evil backlog of onemillion drafted posts)#I took the main dress off the top but thought the underneath part looked cool on it's own as well#7 - more sky.#8 - Mushroom fettucini alfredo. steak. and grilled asparagus. A fun little meal for me though I can't remember the occasion. I think maybe#as a reward for getting my covid booster or something. Though I still feel it's not as much of a reward when I am personally cooking#everything myself at home gjhbjh.. so its like... I'm having to do quite a lot of labor which makes it feel less relaxing I suppose. but eh#a treat in some form. Still cheaper by overall cost than ordering from a restaurant - and also can be customized and prepared#exactly how I like - which is the point. I guess more I just wish I weren't the only cooking person in the house. Everyone could#take turns making special meals for each other rather than like.. ''hmm I feel like having a treat. suppose I shall spend an hour#making it all myself and then feel tired whilst eating it'' lol.. ANYWAY#9 - and then.. you guessed it..MORE sky pictures!!! This time pinky bluey and so on.. huzzah..#A very sky heavy entry into the photo diaries I suppose#The sky in the 1st/7th image is jsut very ethereal seeming to me. something about the way the lighting is behind the clouds. It's#transportive. An interesting sky will make me feel like many other places in time or things I've seen in dreams or something. You get#a sense of being in a different world or like you're looking out over something you once imagined whilst reading a storybook. maybe lol

10 fun things i scripted into my dr(s) ☆ 𖦹
━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━◦○◦━
1. i have a HUGE collection of physical media (eg. dvds , cds , vhs , vinyl) and any piece of media i that i obtain is always in perfect condition.
2. me & my best friend (or boyfriend occasionally) go on roadtrips all the time, staying in dingy motels and eating at local vintage diners.
3. i possess a whimsical aura everywhere i go, constantly turning heads and making people think “who is she?”.
4. my tiktok fyp (and any social media for that matter) only shows me things that i want to see / things that will be helpful for me.
5. everyone still uses digital cameras instead of their phone cameras - phones still have the feature to take pictures but not many people use it, as digitals are more “in”.
6. thrift stores / charity shops always have atleast 3 items that suit my style and they’re never more than £10 each. (cuz prices are going UP these days whew)
7. my signature scent is coconut & my body is always appropriately moisturised with coconut body butter at all times.
8. i have a diary that nobody besides me can ever find that writes a summary of every day that im physically in my dr as if it was a summary of a tv show episode. you can also toggle whether you want a short summary or a longer, more diary entry-like summary.
9. all of my friends / my s/o can braid my hair when i want them to (for more of a relaxation thing instead of needing it braided lol) aswell as always playing with my hair perfectly when i want them to.
10. my mother made a scrapbook full of pictures of me when i was a baby up until my teen years with little notes & letters to me which she gave to me on my 18th birthday (ily mom!!!!!)
and a little extra bonus one because i love this: i am notoriously known for posting my spotify wrapped every year in my actress dr, and even more notorious that my top song for the past 4 years has been “love will tear us apart” by joy division 🫡

loner!reader x needy!chris
WARNINGS: use of y/n, language, erm very vague implication of getting a boner lmao. the series itself will contain smut fluff and angst ⋆𐙚
p.s the grammar is wrong but I like it that way coz it feels like a diary entry but if it's distracting I can change it :3
pls enjoy <3
MASTERLIST
prev parts: INTRO
CHAPTER 1 || moon song
CHRIS' POV
"hi," she speaks softly, my entire body relaxing just from the sound of her voice.
holy fuck.
|| EARLIER ||
READER POV
the drive up to chris' house was the most anxiety inducing yet. it's been the longest gap of seeing him since we met - a month of not seeing him in person or even texting. he knows I'm alive. he's parked outside my house every few nights, peering out his car window into my house - the dark outside making me visible through the net curtains.
of course I feel bad. it's not his fault at all. I think the fact I quit my job at the café and began working on my art from home, meant that my fear of the outside got even worse. I don't ever need to leave the house - chris and his brothers are essentially my only friends, my family all off in a different state so only they have to deal with it.
I know matt understands it. that's why I'm more likely to pick up his calls or see him. Nick is happy to just text me which I find a little easier. chris is just - chris. he's full of love but his love language involves being around people all the time, so it's harder for him to understand how he can be my favourite person but also one of the most overwhelming to be around. I have little energy which extremely contrasts me to him - sometimes he makes me feel like a bad person. what kind of friend am I if I struggle to be around them?
the idea of acting stupid make me wants to curl into a ball a sob while chris sees it as his favourite activity - mainly because it makes me laugh. I love who he is, I just want him to always see me in a positive light, which I could completely shatter if I do something awkward in person.
I park on the street outside their house. hesitant to even turn off the engine.
CHRIS' POV
I have my notifications set with a different alert sound for y/n to everyone else. the sound of it becoming a distant memory every day. I was contemplating driving over - maybe knocking on the door this time. the situation doesn't make me mad, just irritated. I'm used to matt staying home while me and nick go out, so to a certain extent I get it. it just felt as bad as a punch in the face when I saw her hanging out with matt after a week of not seeing me - even though I'd invited her out and she told me she was busy. that was the last time I saw her. I think i must've overreacted - not that I'd admit it to anyone's face.
apart from hers if she asked me to.
ive been pathetic even to the point of staring at photos of her. its insane to me that she can be so perfect, despite her anxieties of the outside world. a part of me is confused on why seeing her pictures is enough satisy my hyperactive brain for hours on end. and a more specific part of me enjoys seeing her pictures a little too much.
the hardest part about her being gone is knowing she'll come back. I get so worked up because she's just not here - but I know she just takes a little time. and that's okay- I guess I just wish I could be the exception. but it turns out matt is.
I get restless nights, headaches and a loss of appetite when she's gone for more than a couple weeks. it's hard to process that without a doubt - seeing her at all, just hearing from her puts me in such a deep state of bliss that I don't even care that she was gone for so long. I just want her here. I need her.
my train of thought is interrupted by an alert on my phone - her alert. I hesitate, thinking I'd imagined it. I hear it a second time and immediately scramble to my bedside table and look at my notifications. as soon as I see her contact name, I open up the chat.
- can I come over?
- im really sorry
my head is whirling around with different thoughts. some of me is irritated that it took this long, mixed with the fact that i was at her house only 6 hours ago, but most of me is desperate just to see her. but I don't want her to know just how desperate I am - I don't want to freak her out.
- doors open
is that too casual? shit.
- I have snacks and stuff but we can do whatever
I sound like a fucking idiot. a couple seconds later (which feel like endless minutes) and she's read the messages. I don't expect her to reply but she somewhat does.
- okay im on my way
I breathe a sigh of relief at the fact she's coming over. then I run to the bathroom at the fact she's coming over. she's about a 20 minute drive away so I have about 25 minutes till she arrives at a push. I try and fix my hair which ends up being a pointless battle. I try and regain focus - tugging off my clothes to get in the shower quickly. my brothers would mock me, which is definitely valid, but I have to look my best. luckily, I shaved this morning when I thought I could convince her to meet up. after the shower, I quickly put on better clothes (ones she said i looked good in - probably a year ago now), fixing my hair a bit more in front of the mirror.
I check the time - it's been 25 minutes. she'll be here in a second. shit shit shit. I sit on the edge of my bed trying to calm my nerves and come up with a game plan for acting normal and not like the down-bad idiot that I have been for the entire month she's been gone.
I decide to let nick and matt know that she's coming over - hopefully preventing possible further embarrassment. I get to nicks door but I can hear his white noise from outside so I know he's already asleep. I head back downstairs to go to matts room. I breathe again - desperate not to sound as nervous as I am, before knocking on his door.
"come in!" I hear matt yell over the sound of his PC.
I push open the door working probably too hard to relax my face.
"um, y/n's coming over by the way" he stares at me with a look of surprise. "I just wanted to let you know."
"y' serious?"
"obviously matt I'm fucking serious. just-" I gesture around with my hands - lost for words. "just fuck off. I don't wanna fuck this up and you'd make that really fucking difficult."
"alright alright - fuck this, fuck that, i get it. watch your mouth and get out, kid." I scoff and shut the door on him.
I peer my eyes over to the staircase and she's stood there looking at me, as perfect as ever.
"hi," she speaks softly, my entire body relaxing just from the sound of her voice.
holy fuck.

Not That Kind of Guy
Part Three: Stalker!Anakin Skywalker × femme reader series

Info: Anakin loves you SO much that he’s disgusting about it. He’s extra delusional. Anakin doesn’t love drama HE IS the drama. He's still a massive Perv [diary entries from Ani] MDNI 18+
Diary Entry: June 27th
I came to the diner tonight, I love to see you wait tables. You’re so kind and sweet, even to the assholes and shitheads that don’t deserve to breathe your air. Your beautiful smile, those pretty eyes and how you bat those long lashes, that bell-like giggle you pull for those nasty old men’s jokes.
I know it’s not real, but it’s fun to watch you pretend baby. And just as fun to listen to your annoyed retelling of your night when you get home. Gods I could just listen to you talk for hours. Watching your face change as you speak, the acute movements of your eyebrows and lips that tell me how you really feel.
You’re just like me, more than you know.
I ordered some coffee, sat at the bar one of those red spin-y stools, and listened to your sweet lilt tell lie after lie to your customers.
You’re a busy, busy girl aren’t you princess?
Sorry for the messy writing, it was difficult not to laugh as I wrote these little white lies of yours.
1. Saving up money for a car: true, but doesn’t get you good tips
2. This is your second job and life on your own is just real hard: I’m amazed that this one works as well as it does, really pulling on those old lady heartstrings huh?
3. ‘Sorry guys, I’m just- having a hard day. You understand right?’ *sniffle* the only thing those guys understand is the masculine urge to stop a girl from crying and if shoving a few extra bills under their dirty plate makes your day ‘better’, they’re gonna do it.
I don’t know how you continue to use that one on those poor fools, it’s always the same few guys too. They really think you’re something special huh?
You are of course, very special. But they don’t know you like I do. They don’t know that you’re full of shit. I know for a fact you had a really good day. I was there.
You cheeky little minx.
4. Your mom is out of work and you’re helping her out: your mom is out of work, but you’re definitely not helping her out. She wouldn’t take your money if you offered it. (You wouldn’t offer it over your dead body.)
Can’t blame you for this little lie though, your mom really is a piece of shit. Exploit that bitch all you want, she deserves it. I’ve seen those nasty posts she made about your friend. All that because he’s gay?
Oh no! It’s contagious! It’s the vaccines! Gluten!
Come on lady, it’s 2023.
5. you’re getting married! I fucking wish. But, not yet princess, you won’t need to worry about anything when it’s time for that. Thats what I’m here for, I’ll make sure you get everything you want.
6. ‘It’s on the house honey.’ I was so jealous hearing this one for the first time. You’re just absolutely rotten aren’t you? Refills are free.
You’re perfect for me and you don’t even know it.
Diary Entry: June 28th
Angelic. Cherubic. God-kin.
A biblical beauty if I’ve ever seen one.
The way your hair creates a halo around your face. Tendrils gracing the soft contours of your cheeks, the twitch of your nose when you shift just alittle too much and a strand tickles it. The subtle pull or purse of your lips that tells me you’re deep in the land of dreaming.
Sleep is one of the most basic human needs. It’s not meant to be as glorified as you make it, but somehow you do.
It’s intimate. They way your breathing slows and your body melts into the soft hands of sleep. It’s an event that I’ve been graciously given the opportunity to witness.
It was so, so, so worth waiting for.
SleepyTime Tea, a cute name and of course perfect for my purposes. You drank a cup almost every night. It’d been on my mind for a while and I figured… it couldn’t hurt to open it up and help you get an even better sleep.
Now that I’ve had the privilege of seeing an angel at rest… well I don’t think I could ever witness anything more breathtaking.
Except for maybe your sweet little pussy.
I checked and double checked the measurements on those sleeping pills I promise. I would never ever hurt you sweetheart. I was so anxious, trying to make sure I got the mixture perfect.
It worked like a dream. Didn’t it?
Damn right it did. Worked well enough that I was able to tuck your hair behind your ear and kiss your forehead before I left.
I also did you a little favor or two as well while I was there. It wasn’t a completely selfish visit.
I replaced an old beat up scrunchie, it was past time for you to retire it in my opinion. Now it’s serving a better purpose: squeezing the base of my cock while I fuck my fist to the sounds of your desperate moans, both of us needy for a never quite satisfying finish. If only I had the courage to open that door.
You need a man sweetheart. You need me. Those toys of yours just don’t hit the spot for you do they? Hurts my heart that it takes you so long… and I know it’s not on purpose. I can tell the difference.
Nothin’ can mimic that sinful feel of flesh on flesh.
I took out your bathroom trash, I know you hate doing that. And maybe I accidentally knocked your toothbrush off the sink.
Sue me.
But I promptly rectified the issue, I just so happened to notice you were out of brush-head refills a few days ago and came prepared. You’re welcome baby.
I also purchased the same brand of brush that you have.
Reduce, reuse, recycle.
Date:
June 29th
You woke up, rolling out of bed at 9:30. An absolutely ridiculous time to be awake on what was meant to be a lazy stay at home day. But alas, you are a good friend, and good friends go through with their plans.
Even if you made those plans a month ago and completely forgot them.
Your cat laced it’s way through your legs while you stood on unsteady feet. You’ve really gotta stop with the caffeine, it’s definitely not normal for someone as young as you to wake up with the shakes. But you’re a creature of habit and an absurd amount of sugar and caffeine were included in those habits.
Staying true to those habits you made your way to the bathroom across the hall, absentmindedly grasping at air for a few seconds before realizing your toothbrush wasn’t where you always left it. With a frustrated groan you looked around and saw that someone… or rather something had knocked it into the floor.
“Boogie!” You turned around and made your way to the living room, interrupting her morning routine by scooping her up and forcing her to face the music.
“How dare you.” You whispered, trying to pull out a stern voice. “I don’t have any new tooth brush heads. What am I supposed to do you little shit?”
You bent down, picked it up and popped the replaceable head off, tossing it into the… empty trash can? When did you take out the trash?
Whatever. Focus. “You better hope I have a spare regular one.” You shot a nasty glare at your cat who sat unbothered on the bathroom counter.
You searched through the cabinet below the sink and through all the drawers and found none. Not even that travel one from last year’s vacation. Finally you opened up the medicine cabinet-mirror combo and was pleasantly surprised but also annoyed, to see that you did actually have a replacement.
“Well shit.” You scoffed, “I should’ve just checked there first.”
Next on the list was a giant tumbler of coffee and a hit of your vape for breakfast. Delicious.
You searched in the catch-all drawer in your kitchen for a hair band, not finding any of the small black ones you settled for a stray scrunchie that lived in this drawer specifically for circumstances like this.
Grabbing the light blue silk scrunchie you went to slide it on your wrist and gather your hair but stopped mid movement. No sharpie mark. You could’ve sworn last time you wore this it had a sharpie mark on it from being trapped in the drawer with a cap-less marker. Weird, but not weird enough to care about.
With your caffeine withdrawal taken care of and your morning duties finished, you slipped on some tennis shoes, grabbed your small backpack and walked to the gym two blocks away. Your wonderful and lovely, much more active friend had invited you to a yoga class to meet ‘someone who isn’t a lazy bastard’.
Which… doesn’t really make any sense considering your last boyfriend liked to lift weights but couldn’t bear to lift a finger to help you.
But you love Luke, and Luke loves to play matchmaker. So you’d suffer through this with a smile. It couldn’t hurt and it might be fun, if all else fails at least you got to hang out with your friend and giggle at him drooling over the ‘guy with this sexy scowl, big broad shoulders, oh my god he’s so soft but like in a buff way it’s insane.’.
“Lukey!” You jogged up to him where he was waiting for you outside the gym.
“You’re late.” He stated sternly despite the little smile curving his lip.
“No I’m not. It’s 10:20.” You scoffed.
“Yes and class starts at 10:30.” He retorted.
“I’m not sure if you know this, but 20 comes before 30.” You said feigning concern as you touched his forearm while walking inside.
“Shut up.” He rolled his eyes, “I mean you’re late to meet this guy I was telling you about!”
He shoved you gently past the various equipment and to a smaller room with mirrors along one wall. He very conspicuously pointed toward a younger guy with… a mullet?
“You’re joking.” You gasped. “Luke I swear to god you’ve gotta be kidding.” You squeaked smacking his arm.
“What?!” He squealed, pulling his arms up to his chest and curling in on himself. “Stop I didn’t invite you to kickboxing! Ow!”
“A dude with a mullet?” You glared at him.
“Wait till he turns around, the mullet will be forgiven I swear.” He said, holding up his hands in an offering of peace.
That peace treaty was immediately ripped to shreds when Luke loudly dropped his metal water bottle on the hard floors, a smile that could beat the devil’s smirk on his face.
The guy whipped his head around, eyebrows raised in concern, soft greenish tinted blue eyes taking a moment to glance over you.
“Everything alright?” He asked, a soft accent lacing his voice as he walked over to you.
Is it strange to say that a man with a mullet is… graceful? Yes, it is.
“Oh yeah, everything is fine.” You answered quickly, not missing the snicker that Luke made when he kicked the water bottle over to you.
You bent down and picked it up, holding it with a grip that would surely snap your officially ex-best friends neck in half.
“Here let me take this for you.” The blonde haired stranger said, reaching out for your backpack and for some reason you let him take it.
He just… exuded a calming energy. No wonder he likes yoga, he’s probably the most zen person you’ve ever met. Everything about him was soft and comforting. His voice, his beard, even his knuckles as they ghosted across your arm when he grabbed your bag.
“Th-thanks?“ You said in a statement that sounded more like a confused inquiry.
You followed him and Luke inside, the blood draining from your formerly flushed cheeks when he unrolled your yoga mat in the front row. What kind of cosmic curse has Luke unleashed? You shot him a look to burn through brick but he just seemed giddy as if you weren’t planning on disposing him in the sewer after this.
“I’m Ben, your instructor. Luke told me you’d be coming today, he mentioned you’ve never taken a class like this before?” He looked over at you, an understanding smile on his face.
THE INSTRUCTOR?
“R-right yeah. No, I’ve never taken a yoga class before.” You shook your head and introduced yourself in return, holding out your hand for a hand shake and being utterly shocked at Ben’s reaction.
“I’m a hugger, hope that’s alright darling.” He laughed softly, enveloping you in a warm embrace that could smelt iron. It certainly made you malleable, maybe even alittle bit melty.
The kicker though? A kiss to the side of your mouth.
You blinked at the audacity, did he just-? But as he pulled back you realized it wasn’t a creepy thing… it was a friendly thing. He just greets everyone that way because he’s a genuinely kind person. You knew that to be true because he turned and did the same to Luke, ending his with a firm pat to his shoulder.
A little green monster clawed it’s way through your stomach at the sight, but you drowned it quickly with the use of your knowledge as a sane person. You don’t know this guy. Luke brought you here because of this guy, he’s not after him, he’s after Beefy McBeef in the corner. You don’t know him, you’re purely getting jealous going off the fact that he is pretty and the realization that you’re not special.
You spent the rest of your time thinking peaceful thoughts to chase away the images of Luke’s tiny pea brain being squished betwixt your fingers for this horrible idea of his, while failing many attempts to mimic the variety of poses and stances Ben showed the class.
Even Beefy McBeef was doing better than you, and you could definitely see why Luke had his sights set on him. Masculine, but not in an intimidating way. He’s right, he’s soft but buff.
After class ended Luke insisted on dragging you over to Ben to say goodbye.
“Thanks, I enjoyed the class.” You said awkwardly, forcing a polite smile.
“Oh I’m so glad, I was hoping you would.” Ben said, a bright smile on his face, his eyes crinkling in the corners.
“I’d love for you to come back next week.” He said sincerely, reaching out to give your arm a gentle squeeze that made your mouth dry.
“I’m not super sure that yoga is my thing, but I’ll definitely think about it.” You smiled, surely he’s just being nice. Like he was earlier.
“Well if yoga isn’t your thing, I’m sure we can find something that is, hmm?” He chuckled, ripping a scrap of paper from his class schedule and scribbling his number down.
“O-oh.” You blushed. That was the smoothest pickup line you’d ever heard… you couldn’t even be mad about it. “Thank you, I’ll… text you later?” You said unsure about your own words.
“No rush darling,” he gave you a warm smile that matched the softness of his hand that took yours and pressed his lips to your knuckles.
When he pulled back he’d somehow snuck the slip of paper into the palm of your hand, he left you there buffering. You turned slowly to look at Luke who was standing there with a shit eating grin on his face.
“Your turn.” You said sternly, nodding toward Mr. McBeef.
“No.” Luke said with an air of finality, scooping up his bag and spinning on his heel toward a few of his class friends.
Luke so kindly helped you make a fool of yourself. It’s only fair that you return the favor. You marched over to Beefy with a sweet smile.
“Hey!” You said, introducing yourself to him.
“Hey little lady.” He chuckled, taking your hand for a handshake, his palm dwarfing yours. “Names Han.”
“Han. Suits you.” You added with a small smile.
“So, Han. You know Luke?” You said, nodding in his direction.
“Y-yeah I do,” he answered, rubbing the back of his neck with a nervousness you didn’t expect. “Why?”
“Luke is- he’s alittle shy.” You said in a hushed tone. “He’s been talking about you an awful lot.”
“Me?” Han questioned, a downturned grin creeping up his lips as his eyes darted between you and your friend who’d migrated across the gym.
“Yeah, you.” You laughed, “he’s got a massive crush.” You gave him an accomplished grin.
“H-he does?” He gulped, starting to get red in the cheeks. “He’s hardly ever spoken to me.”
“Like I said, he’s shy.” You reminded him gently. “You should go talk to him.”
“Yeah… I will.” He smiled, standing up and placing a kind hand on your shoulder.
“Go get ‘em Beefy McBeef.” You said in a tone so normal that he almost didn’t notice.
“What did you call me?” He laughed.
“Beefy McBeef.” You shrugged, unable to hide your devious smile. “that’s what Luke calls you.”
“No he doesn’t.” Han laughed, big and hearty, Luke turning his head with a jealous scowl until he realized he was laughing with you and it morphed into a mask of pure panic.
“Oh yes he does.” You said firmly. “Can you do me a favor?” You asked.
“Sure babe.” He laughed, still recovering.
“Introduce yourself to him as Beefy McBeef.” You said with pleading eyes.
“Seriously?” He laughed, almost a giggle if you could consider a guy like him a giggler. “What’d he do to you?”
“Just trust me when I say he deserves it.” You said sincerely.
“Can do.” He shook his head with a snort and made his way over to Luke.
“Hey, Luke.” He said, a slight tease in his tone. “Just wanted to introduce myself.” He stuck out his hand and watched with amusement as Luke struggled to comprehend what was happening.
Good. You thought. He deserves alittle embarrassment after the way he forced you into conversation with Ben.
“Beefy McBeef.” Han said, struggling to contain his laughter as he shook Luke’s hand. “Pleasure to meet you.”
You watched from behind a nearby pillar as Luke turned fire truck red. He frantically searched for you until he spotted you with a massive grin and waggling fingers.
“I’ll kill you.” He threatened but there was no real malice in his voice.
“Sure you will Lukey.” You said with a laugh, running over to the wall where you’d propped up your bag and tossed it over your shoulder. Blowing Luke a kiss as you walked out of the gym.
After returning home you showered and sat down on the couch, resigning yourself to rotting on the couch. You’d done your good deed for the day, two actually:
1. attending a social event
2. helping Lukey talk to Han
You’d also done your one terrible deed for next few months. It’s never intentional that you do something bad, except this time it was. But was it really all that terrible if it got Luke what he wanted? Nope.
Add that to the good deeds list then.
3. embarrassing Lukey while helping him talk to Han
All’s fair in love and war.
Speaking of potential love and possible war, you rummaged through your bag to fish out that phone number, you even dumped out all the contents and searched your clothes as well.
It was no where to be found and you were actually kind of bummed about it. You can’t go ask for his number after all that, that’s just… embarrassing.
Shit.
Diary Entry: June 29th
Sweetheart.
If I knew you didn’t love Lukey, I’d have been scraping him off the sidewalk right about now. That little twerp was trying to set you up with someone else.
I know it’s not his fault. He’s being a good friend, he just wants you to be happy. He doesn’t know about me and that’s okay, it’s all okay.
But god, could he have picked a worse guy? I mean… really?
*Ooh look at me and my beautiful luscious locks.* GAG.
I could tell he was making you uncomfortable so I got rid of that little paper as quickly as possible. I would’ve hated for you to have the reminder of that fucking creep. The way he kissed your hand? What the hell was that?
So, I slipped it out of your bag and stayed around to listen to your sinister revenge plot.
I’ll say it again baby, you’re more like me than you know.
Ps. Beefy McBeef? Please.
Diary Entry: July 1st
I’m not an unreasonable guy baby. Really I’m not, but you’re on your phone so much. It just really bugs me you know? We don’t spend quality time together like we should.
I want you to dance around and sing. I want you to lay in the living room floor and color. I to watch you suck ass at MarioKart and laugh when you get frustrated and scrunch your nose.
I want to watch you read so I can read aloud to you, with my e-book copy. I want to watch The Witcher with you, I love that show. Shits cool as fuck, sword fights are so awesome I’ll ignore the fact that you only watch it for Geralt.
He’s not real and I am. So fuck it, can’t hurt to fantasize. I’d be one hell of a hypocrite if I said you couldn’t.
Anyway, sorry I’m rambling.
Are you okay? You’re just… quieter. Is it something I’ve done?
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I think I’ve figured it out sweet girl, I did some online research and replayed some footage. You’ve not been taking your birth control like you should. Come on baby you gotta remember to take it on time alright? Skipping it and taking it out of routine will mess you all up and we can’t have that.
I’ll try my best to remind you.
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
You know me, I’m always worried.
Just… I’m gonna need to borrow your phone so that I can install some software for you. I’m just alittle concern that you’re hiding something from me princess. I just want to make sure you’re okay.
Diary Entry: July 2nd
That SleepyTime tea is a lifesaver.
God I just feel so relieved knowing that I can monitor you. I swear it’s not in a weird way, I just needed to make sure you were in a good headspace you know?
Your search history is so funny. I makes me happy to know you’re just as goofy as me. It also makes me happy that you’ve not searched anything concerning.
Your socials are clean. Your camera roll is full of cute pictures of you and your friends, as well as a few of your ex that I swiftly trashed for you. Maybe just a few naughty ones in the hidden album, don’t worry I didn’t stare. I’ll have plenty of time to do that in person.
Your texts are mostly dry. That’s a good thing though, that means you have more time for me. Even better? No dating apps. Good girl. Those are terribly dangerous, they should require a background check for users, you never know what kind of weirdo is on the other side of that screen.
I’m proud of you babydoll. You’re such a good girl, my good girl.
I’ll help you stay a good girl too. Your phone is mirrored to my laptop, so I’ll be able to see everything you see. No room for mix-ups or miscommunications between us this way.
Communication in relationships is so important.
Which is my reasoning behind the new phone software. You understand don’t you doll? I mean, I can only tell so much from your diary. You like to write and that’s amazing, it’s a great outlet and you should keep up with it. You’re the reason I started my own journal. You were so right when you said ‘it sorts my thoughts and soothes my heart’.
I never thought I’d be a journal guy. Look at me. Self care king.
Diary Entry: July 3rd
I have the most amazing news princess, after careful research and a very thorough deep dive into all of your neighbors, I’ve come up with the perfect solution to our distance issue.
Did you know that the old man across the hall from you is a widow? Poor guy, 10 years without his wife. They were married for 53 years. 53.
That’s the goal baby. That’s the kind of love I have for you.
If Alan Jared Nelson is anything like me, he’s miserable without Gloria Anne. Just like I’d be miserable without you.
He’s sick you know? He’s on a wait list for a liver, has been for 2 years. Isn’t that just the worst kind of hope? It’s cruel really.
Why give the man and his remaining family the hope of a ‘few’ more years, knowing damn well the guy is old enough that he might turn to dust they minute they cut into him. Why put him on the list at all? He’s 92. No one is giving him a liver.
The liver disease he’s diagnosed with is a doozy too, it’s aggressive, painful, and necrotic. He’s in constant pain. He’s got a port for morphine.
Do you know what kind of horrible pain a person has to be in to get a morphine port? Excruciating.
Alan has lived a long and beautiful life. Between the heartache of loosing his love and the debilitating disease he suffers from… it would be a mercy to lay him to rest don’t you think?
He’s a patriot through and through, he was in the army reserves. Now, that’s not my cup of tea but good for you Mr. Nelson.
America’s birthday is a good day for a guy like him to die isn’t it?
Date:
July 4th
Anakin counted the windows over and over, repeating the number in his head as he quietly trekked up the creaking rusted fire escape on Mr. Nelson’s side of the building. Not only was tonight a poetic release of this man’s long and happy existence, it was a very good cover.
Majority of the city was busy watching the fireworks at the celebration in the park, including you. Anakin had ensured you’d left before he even considered walking over to your building. He couldn’t bear the thought of committing a heinous, though arguably merciful, crime in the vicinity of such a pure form of radiance.
As expected the din of booming explosions and crackling sparks masked the noise of the quiet power drill Anakin used to remove bottom piece of the outer frame of the out-dated window. Internally cursing the fact that you lived in such an old building, there’s absolutely no way that these windows are up to code. It might make this task easier, but it made him a nervous wreck to think someone could break into your home in under a minute as long as they brought a drill and a magnet. The process was almost silent, you wouldn’t realize anything was amiss until it was too late.
Once the piece of frame was laid aside Anakin used the heavy duty magnet to coax the loose curved clasp that held the window shut, out of the hoop that it rested in. He sighed, thinking he should definitely complain to the super once he moved in. The ease of breaking and entering wasn’t comforting in the slightest.
Sure it was a wonderful thing for Anakin, there would be absolutely no trace of the break in. The man is old, there would be no autopsy, there are no outdoor cameras on this building or the one next to it. This unit is tucked into a well hidden alleyway and no one saw him walk this way. But his worries were based on thoughts of you and your well-being.
Anakin sprayed Wd-40 along the tracks of the metallic frame and waited a moment before wiping off the excess, hopefully ensuring a silent entry.
The moment of truth arrived, Anakin lifted the window just a hair to test it. Finding it whisper quiet despite its age as he opened it and stepped inside.
The interior of the home was just as you’d expect, family pictures, a fridge covered in cards and handwritten reminders. An obscene amount of carved wooden trinkets and the forever mysterious wooden fruit that seemed to adorn the tables of many an old folks homes. Apples and roosters strewn about the space in the form of paintings, lampshades and oddly detailed itchy blankets.
A gorgeous abalone jewelry dish held a silver pendant, trapped beneath was an intricate lace cover that seemed to be made specifically for the coffee table they rested on. Upon closer inspection Anakin determined that it was tailor made. Gloria Anne Nelson must’ve been a talented craftswomen, the quality of work was amazing.
Alan’s display of his wife’s work, her jewelry dish and her favorite engraved pendant… he’d made an altar for her and probably didn’t even realize it. He’d even placed a tall, thick white candle next to the abalone dish. It left Anakin with a lump in his throat, imagining the horrible loneliness this man must feel.
He stood up from his crouched position and took a breath, smoothing his shirt to iron out his emotions. There would be time for proper mourning and reflection later.
He walked toward the short hall that housed Alan’s bed room and bathroom, but stopped short when something on the wall caught his attention.
A calendar depicting a summertime scene of a lake and a small fishing boat was tacked to the wall above the dock for his home phone, a small note pad and pen resting beside it.
A small smile turning the corner of his lip, the sight bringing a fond memory of his grandmother keeping a set-up very similar to this. Must be a universal old person habit.
He stepped closer to read the writing in the small squares and came to the realization that this calendar was not up to date. This calendar was from 2013, ten years ago.
Anakin knew from his deep dive into the Nelson’s life that Gloria had passed on July 16th, but he didn’t realize that July 4th was the anniversary of Gloria and Alan’s first kiss.
She’d kept up with that anniversary for the entirety of 53 years. Poetic.
He took a look around the kitchenette and living room again. Really and truly looking this time, not just glazing over the bigger items, the things that caught his eye. This time he looked at the in between.
He wished he hadn’t. He wished he hadn’t cared enough to pay attention, it was something he’d never forget, an achievement he’d strive for for the rest of his life.
Alan’s home was a shrine.
A neatly kept time capsule full of warmth and fondness. It oozed from the very walls of the space. Gloria had never stepped foot in this space, but she dominated every inch of it. Her devoted husband had rebuilt his life in her image, even in death he worshipped her just as Anakin worshipped you.
A heavy weight settled in Anakin’s heart, this was the right choice. This confirmed it.
He quietly entered the bedroom, Alan’s C-PAP machine humming with a rhythmic flow of air, in, *scish*, *puftk*, out. It was soothing in a strange way, or maybe it was just a relief from the suffocating silence that compressed Anakin’s lungs when he was absorbing the space past the door.
He kneeled at the edge of the bed, pulling a small tube of lidocaine from his jacket hoodie pocket, along with a pair of gloves that he quickly donned. Wincing at the snap of the latex against his sweating palms, but the man continued his peaceful slumber, unaware that it would be his last.
He lifted the corner of the blanket and grimaced as he placed a small dollop of the cream via his index finger between Alan’s fourth and fifth toes. He didn’t even flinch.
Anakin kept the time on his watch and waited until the ointment did it’s job to numb the tender flesh. Fishing a small needle meant for insulin injections from a ziploc bag in pocket. Drawing a bit of air into barrel before carefully pricking the soft skin, holding his breath as his victim twitched.
When he stilled Anakin gently pushed the plunger and created a pocket of air in a vein that would soon end this poor souls life on earth. He withdrew the needle and stored it and the gloves in the ziploc bag, returning the blanket to its previous position.
He should’ve left then, but morbid curiosity had a tight hand around his wrist. Urging him to stay and wait out this event to its completion. So he tugged up his hood and stood motionless.
No one should be alone in their last moments. The least Anakin could do is provide silent support from the darkened corner. He counted the seconds on his watch until the man’s fingers twitched and his throat visibly tightened as a gurgled ball of air left his lungs. His eyes opened, wide and terrified as his body acted of its on volition.
Wrinkled hands weakly pawing at the C-PAP that was fitted over his head, Anakin watched his chest heave and collapse rapidly, the swell of his ribcage caving in on itself with each labored breath.
He’d heard of the ‘death rattle’ before but had never considered it to be anything other than a wives tale, until now. Alan’s choked coughs and gasping breaths reverberated in his chest and rolled up the stretch of his esophagus, coming out in a groan muffled by his lolled tongue.
He brought his fist to his chest in weak thumps, while his other reached over the side of the bed in the general vicinity of the night stand. It’s incredible what the human brain is capable of during such critical moments of stress. Anakin watch with a fascination that went beyond curiosity, wondering how the hell this guy was aware enough to try to grab the phone laying there.
Alan let his head fall to the side and his fading eyes blurred, but didn’t miss Anakin’s figure. To him, he was just a silhouette of midnight black. For some reason Anakin noticed a bit of the fear leave Alan’s tired eyes, softening as though he was accepting his quickly approaching end.
He stopped struggling, stopped reaching for the phone and instead held out a shaking hand to Anakin as though he wanted him to take it.
What kind of monster would deny a dying man?
He stepped forward on silent feet until he clasped the man’s wrist and felt his weak grip on his. The leathery skin was clammy, sickly to the touch and it made Anakin’s stomach churn.
“Death?” A small creaking attempt at the word eeked out of Alan’s lips.
“Yes sir.” Anakin responded. Was it true? No. But was it a lie? Also no. He was and he wasn’t.
“A-about…” the old man heaved, spittle flying from his mouth. “About damn time.”
Anakin was usually quick on his feet with his quips but this man’s nonchalant attitude, his welcoming of his fate was unexpected.
“Sorry Mr. Nelson.” He chuckled. “I’m a very busy man.”
He laughed. A rare occasion if not the only occasion that someone’s dying breath was a laugh. Anakin’s brow pinched together, wetting his lips with his tongue before chewing the inside of his cheek as he watched the life drain from his eyes.
Once his hand went slack and limp Anakin gently laid it across his chest, checked for a pulse and found none. He patted the old man’s shoulder and turned to exit the room, he didn’t look back and he didn’t take another breath until he set foot on the fire escape and the window was shut. Making quick work of closing the clasp and reassembling the metal frame.
He took a shaky breath and checked his watch. Bewildered by the passing of time. He literally couldn’t comprehend it, pulling out his phone to confirm. The times were indeed matching.
Three minutes and 57 seconds.
He was only inside for three minutes and 57 seconds. He felt like hours of his life had flown by, he felt both aged and more alive than he’d ever been. The only thing he could compare this feeling to was… the feeling he got because of you.
He’d done a good thing.
Alan said so himself, the man was ready, beyond ready to embrace death. Anakin had done him a favor by taking his life returning his soul to his soulmate.
It gave him a warm feeling in his chest. He thought maybe he would feel sick, he almost did, until he didn’t. He decided not to question his contentment, instead pocketing it to tuck away in the recess of his mind that he stored his more unhealthy thoughts and experiences in.
He liked that about himself, his ability to compartmentalize at will. He liked to be neat and tidy, it was only natural that his mind mirror that. He knew that it was just his mind’s creation; his mind didn’t really look like a neat room of filing cabinets.
He had one for childhood memories, one for his favorite happy memories, one for his mother, one for his friends, one for his work life, one for his home life. But the two most important things housed in the confines of his skull were the golden pedestal holding the beautifully crafted, one of a kind ceramic vase he poured his love for you into; and The Pit.
He didn’t like The Pit. His inner self kindly transported the things that belonged there via a lockbox and unceremoniously tossed it over the edge at a safe distance. Even the figment of his imagination in this scenario was too afraid to peer over the edge of the chasm. He’d never heard anything hit the bottom, if he got too close he would fall, and fall, and fall, and fall, and fall for eternity.
Then what would you do? Suffer through a sad existence like poor Mr. Nelson?
No. He can’t let that happen. He won’t let that happen. You’re to precious, too pure, too good to experience anything but radiant joy.
He breathed in relief as he found himself suddenly outside his front door, he’d traveled on autopilot.
He showered and tucked himself into bed, exhausted and drained emotionally. But not too much, not enough that he could neglect his duties. He checked the tracker on his phone, pleaded to see that you were abiding by your unspoken agreed upon curfew. Home before 2:00am. Always.
It was only 12:30. Good job princess.
He waited, following the little blue dot to the larger red one and switched over to the live camera feed and witnessed you chatting happily on your phone as you trotted up the stairs.
He thanked his past self from this morning and grabbed the laptop from his nightstand and patiently waited for the mirror image of your phone updated.
Luke. It was just Luke making sure you got home safe; maybe Luke wasn’t too bad after all. He wasn’t a threat to Anakin in anyway and he was concerned with your well-being. Not as much himself of course but enough that Anakin could throw a smidgen of respect his way, it’s nice to know he already has something in common with your best friend.
He did his routine night-time walk through of your device, seeing that you’d turned on your alarms for the next day already. He smiled fondly, his sleepy girl.
He turned up the sound on your bedroom camera, plugging up his phone and putting the laptop on the night stand. He placed his phone next to his head and listened to your breathing slow and relax.
He loved this. Sleeping with the sound of your soft snores and mumbled sleepy words. It was an intimacy that he craved to manifest into the flesh world.
Soon he would.
Someone please tell me that if you’ve waitressed/known a waitress who’s done shit like that?? If not I just told on myself for being a big fat liar.

THE ORIGINAL DEATHLY MIRROR HAS BEEN FOUND.
This is not a drill. All 6 chapters of MotDM's original version are found and playable through emulation right now, thanks to the brilliant folks over at KeitaiWiki!
Now, remember this is the original version, not the ReMix, and the whole thing is in Japanese (yes, we're working on a translation) - but this is an amazing find for several reasons.
One, of course, is preservation. Having this game accessible and available is a fantastic thing for a multitude of reasons I don't feel the need to explain here.
Two, it's amazing news for our remake, too. There were a few missing pieces that we were not sure what to do about. That worry has been solved entirely, and all of these things can now be incorporated into the remake. Like what, you may ask?
For starters, there's 15 new puzzles that we can now localise and incorporate. Some are a bit more difficult to work with (there's a few based on specific uses of Japanese grammar), but we feel confident we'll be able to deliver fun and interesting interpretations of these new puzzles. For those of you keeping count, yes, that ups the minimum total of new puzzles in our remake to 60.
Another thing we're very happy to have recovered is the minigames, and the diary entries they reward you. There's one minigame in Chapters 1-3, and another in Chapters 4-6, for which we did not have any gameplay, assets, or even rules. While the loss of the second mingame could have been overcome by simply giving the first minigame more levels, the diary entries they reward you would have needed a lot more work and imagination, with our writers having to try to create new entries that would follow the original vision. This is now no longer an issue, and we can bring the original vision for these diary entries into the remake as they are.
On top of that, there were a few characterisations and storylines that were different between the original and the remix, where we would have had to pick the remix version by default, because the back half of the original was missing - this recovery gives us far more wiggle room to combine and reconcile these versions and make this game the most interesting version of itself. (Also, at the back end, having access to the original assets makes our recreation department very, very happy.)
So, all in all, a fantastic morning for the Layton fandom!
And then, what? Well, it might be a bit quiet on the update side of things for the time being, given that our job right now is to translate and localise about a million different things - and that just isn't a super interesting process to be sharing. We may have more to tell you once we've unpacked and analysed the files (we've only just got our hands on them, that's how fast this whole thing has gone), and we definitely have some other fun stuff we're working on that we can't wait to share, but after this massive update (maybe the biggest we'll ever do, because, wow), we'll need some time to work.
So for now, keep on keeping on, keep an eye on this subreddit and our youtube channel, and go check out the incredible work KeitaiWiki is doing. This whole thing, from the beginning, would not have been possible without them. (Seriously - they've been with us since the start of it all.)
Thank you.

Here I go again
Mamma Mia inspired
I hope you enjoy this, I’m hoping to write it as a pick your own so they’ll each have their own individual stories so you can pick who you want the father to be.
On a quiet island far from the chaos of the Grand Line, you’ve built a peaceful life raising your daughter. But as her wedding approaches, she realizes there’s one thing missing—her father. Determined to find out who he is, she secretly reads your old diary, only to uncover a shocking truth: there are three possible candidates.
Shanks - part 2 part 3

The sun hung lazily in the sky, casting golden light over the small island you called home. Waves lapped gently against the shore as laughter rang from the bustling town square, where preparations for the wedding of the year were well underway. Your daughter, a whirlwind of excitement, had spent the morning running between vendors, making sure every detail was perfect. But now, hidden away in her bedroom, she sat cross-legged on her bed, an old, leather-bound diary resting in her lap.
Your diary.
With hesitant fingers, she traced the worn edges of the cover, feeling a strange mix of nerves and anticipation. She wasn’t proud of snooping, but she had no other choice. Ever since she was little, it had just been the two of you—no father in sight. And now, with her wedding just days away, she wanted to know the truth.
She took a deep breath and flipped to the first page.
Entry 1
It still feels unreal being out on the sea. The first real adventure of my life, and I don’t know whether to laugh or throw up over the side of the ship. This crew is crazy, but in the best way. I’ve never felt more alive. And him… well, he’s trouble. The kind that makes your heart race in ways it shouldn’t.
Entry 7
I shouldn’t like him this much. But when he smiles, it’s like the whole damn ocean stops to listen. The way he carries himself, all confidence and mischief, like nothing can touch him… It’s impossible not to get caught up in the whirlwind that is Shanks.
---
Your daughter’s eyes widened. Shanks? As in Red-Haired Shanks? The legendary pirate? She let out a breathless laugh, shaking her head. That couldn’t be right. Could it?
She turned the page.
---
Entry 15
I knew he was reckless, but I didn’t think he’d drag me into it, too. We barely made it out of that fight in one piece. I should be furious at him. I should never speak to him again. But when he looks at me with that cocky grin and those burning eyes, all I can think is—Ace, you absolute idiot, you’re going to be the death of me.
---
She covered her mouth, heart pounding. Portgas D. Ace? Fire Fist Ace? The stories about him were legendary. Was he her father?
Her hands trembled as she turned the page again.
---
Entry 23
He doesn’t talk much. At least, not in the way most people do. But I’ve learned to understand him in other ways. The way he nods when he listens. The way he lingers just a little longer when we say goodbye. The way he fights like the whole world is depending on him. He’s rough around the edges, but there’s something in his eyes—something I can’t walk away from. Zoro might be the most stubborn man I’ve ever met, but when he holds me, it’s the only time I’ve ever felt truly safe.
---
Your daughter gasped, staring at the name. Roronoa Zoro?! The Pirate Hunter turned right-hand man of the future Pirate King?
She shut the diary, hands shaking. Three names. Three impossible names. And no answers.
Her heart pounded as realization set in.
She needed to find them.
And she needed to do it before the wedding.

[ Diary Entry #2 ] “Foolproof Manifesting”
March 11, 2025.

At this juncture in my life, I have refined my manifestation abilities to a point where it always happens within the timeframe of 3 days to a week. I am currently using that to unlock instant manifesting/spawning, instant shifting and void state, because so far I have mostly manifested desired scenarios, money, permanent changes to my own psyche and other phenomena that align with my current perception of reality and what I deem possible for myself. I have yet to venture outside, which is why I created this blog in the first place.
This online shifting diary is a place where I will tackle my last set of assumptions that are left, if you are also looking to elevate yourself and break past everything, this is the place for you 🍋🟩🐚.
There is no guide to manifesting, at the end of the day one does what one pleases, but I will share my specific way on doing it and how it happens for me. You are free to do it like me or any other way.
1. Decide what you want.
2. Let yourself know you have it via some affirmative action or simply knowing, ideally if you have no resistance it ends here. It feels like a wave of fresh energy filling every cell in your body. It does manifest quickly, internally. This is foolproof every time.
If you continued reading it means step two was not enough, that is valid. I also currently feel a bit shaky on step two, when it comes to things I have a hard time believing is possible for me. For me this includes my waiting room being real, that I can enter void state instantly, instant spawning/manifesting and reality shifting. The idea of spawning a plate of warm fries in an instant still baffles me, but I can without a problem manifest a scenario today where I get the fries and it happening before the end of the day. I do this a lot for my desired scenarios, it is deeply ingrained and accepted.
Here is how I will tackle this, because this is the same method that worked for me when I could not even manifest the things I previously mentioned, such as money or desired scenarios with a 0% failing rate.
— Normalise it; You can do this by mindless affirming, by affirming once or vaunts but I would just talk to myself. I would talk to myself during the day, no specific schedule just whenever I felt like it. I would talk about it like other regular life events. No different from how you would discuss the weather with someone. This will not always go smoothly and perfect, but I welcome all aspects of me to enter the discussion and be heard. This doesn’t imply submission or compliance with the negativity, I move on from it at my own pace eventually. I am in control at the end of the day.
— Forceful exposure; If talking is not enough, set a timer for 10 or 15 minutes and mentally put yourself in the desired selves state of mind. This will be uncomfortable at first but with daily consistency, it will manifest no matter what you currently believe. Take the action now, do not have the goal in mind or make a dramatic challenge out of it. Just do it, don’t think it over.
— Ponder on it; If you like to get philosophical, sit in silence and just ponder on it. Look at it from all angles, discuss it with yourself or likeminded individuals if you prefer a more lively atmosphere. When in deep thought, there is a natural unraveling of the self and revelations just burst out. These revelations don’t rely on constant affirming and for you to keep being in a state, once you realise then you can never go back to your old story.
I will post more diary entries as I progress, with both my struggles and successes. I encourage you to do the same, sometimes having company can make the process less daunting.
Summer signing off…🍋🟩

TW: Overdosing
Hating you was easier: Part 1
The first time you met Harry Styles, it felt like the universe had dropped the most irritating human being right into your life for its own entertainment. He was everything you despised: cocky, effortlessly charming, and always one step ahead. He didn’t even have to try. Harry just was.
It started small. He snagged the last coffee in the campus café, ignoring your pointed glare. Then came the group project where he dismissed every single one of your ideas, only to charm the professor into giving your group an A. Somehow, he always knew exactly how to push your buttons: mocking your music taste, rolling his eyes at your contributions in class, or throwing sarcastic remarks your way in the library when you crossed paths.
You weren’t innocent, either. You’d gone out of your way to make his life equally annoying. Once, you convinced the dining hall staff to cut him off on Taco Tuesday (his favorite). Another time, you “accidentally” swapped his presentation slides before a lecture. The two of you had been locked in a ridiculous, petty war for years, and everyone on campus knew it.
But as much as you hated him - and you were sure you did - you couldn’t help but notice the cracks in the façade sometimes. The quiet moments when Harry wasn’t surrounded by friends, when he lingered in the library or stared off during class. He looked… tired. But you never dwelled on it. He was Harry Styles, your mortal enemy. That was all that mattered.
It was 3 a.m. when you realized your diary was gone.
You’d been writing in it earlier that night, venting your frustration about everything: your classes, the pressure to keep up, and, of course, Harry. The entries about him were always the worst, filled with words you’d never say out loud. How infuriating it was that his laugh lingered in your mind longer than it should. How sometimes you noticed the way his green eyes crinkled at the corners when he smiled, and you hated yourself for noticing.
But now it was gone.
The anger came first. There was only one person who would’ve taken it, someone petty enough to invade your privacy just to get under your skin. You knew it was Harry. It had to be.
You threw on a sweatshirt and stormed out of your dorm, your anger propelling you across campus to his building. When you reached his door, you didn’t hesitate. You banged on it with your fist, your voice sharp and loud.
“Harry, open this door right now!” you yelled. “I know you took it! Give it back!”
No response.
You banged again, harder this time. “I’m not leaving until you open this door! Don’t make me kick this door down!”
Still nothing.
Your anger started to twist into something darker, an uneasy knot forming in your chest. It wasn’t like Harry to ignore you, not when he lived to provoke a reaction.
After five minutes of silence, you pulled the hair clip from your bun and crouched in front of the lock. Your fingers trembled slightly as you worked, but you managed to pop the door open in seconds.
“Harry, I swear to fucking god-“
The words died on your lips.
The room was a disaster. Empty liquor bottles littered the floor, along with packets of pills and crumpled wrappers. The air was heavy with the sharp, chemical smell of substances you couldn’t identify.
And there, lying in the middle of it all, was Harry.
He was shirtless, his skin pale and damp with sweat. His curls were matted to his forehead, and his chest rose and fell in shallow, uneven breaths. He looked fragile - nothing like the cocky, untouchable Harry Styles you were used to seeing.
“Harry?” you whispered, your voice trembling. You dropped to your knees beside him, your hands hovering uselessly as panic set in. “Harry, wake up! Come on, wake up!”
He didn’t respond.
Your heart pounded as you pressed your fingers to his neck, searching for a pulse. When you found it, it was faint. Too faint.
“Shit,” you muttered, your hands shaking as you pulled your phone from your pocket. You dialed emergency services, your voice cracking as you explained the situation.
When the paramedics arrived, they worked quickly, lifting Harry onto a stretcher and wheeling him out of the room. You followed them without thinking, climbing into the ambulance and gripping his hand the whole way to the hospital.
Hours passed in a blur.
The hospital staff had been reluctant to let you stay, but you’d lied - told them you were his girlfriend. It was far from the truth. You’d been closer to Harry than most people, but that closeness came in the form of insults and bickering.
You sat by his bedside, watching the steady rise and fall of his chest. The heart monitor beeped softly, a reassuring sound in the otherwise silent room.
At some point, you pulled out your phone and called Niall, one of Harry’s closest friends. You explained everything - how you’d found Harry, the overdose, how close he’d come to dying. You couldn’t bring yourself to say it aloud.
Niall promised he’d come as soon as he could, but until then, it was just you and Harry.
When he finally stirred, it was like the air shifted. His fingers twitched, and his eyelids fluttered open, revealing dazed, unfocused green eyes.
“Harry?” you said softly, leaning closer.
He groaned, his voice hoarse. “What…?”
“You’re in the hospital,” you explained, your voice trembling. “You overdosed. The paramedics got to you in time, but… it was close.”
He blinked at you, his brows furrowing in confusion. “Why are you here?”
You hesitated, swallowing hard. “Because I found you. I-“ Your voice cracked. “I couldn’t just leave you like that.”
He stared at you for a long moment, his expression unreadable. Finally, he muttered, “Thanks.”
You nodded, blinking back tears. “Don’t thank me. Just… don’t almost die again..”
A few weeks later, Harry returned to campus. He was quieter, more reserved, but you couldn’t help noticing how his eyes lingered on you in class, softer than before.
One afternoon, you found yourselves alone in the library. For once, there was no sarcasm, no biting remarks. Just silence.
“We should talk,” he said finally, his voice low.
And so you did. About everything - the rivalry, the misunderstandings, the walls you’d both built to keep each other at arm’s length.
By the time you left the library, you’d come to an agreement: no more games, no more hatred. Just… something new. Something real.
Dating Harry Styles was never part of the plan. But as he walked you back to your dorm that night, his hand brushing against yours, you couldn’t help thinking that maybe it was exactly what you needed.

2024 Planning
I started planning for 2024 today. I’ve learned a lot this year, made mistakes, had some successes and now it’s time to take all my learnings, good or bad, and go to the next level.
I prefer starting next year’s routine from 2023’s November and December so that by the time January rolls around, I’m settled into the routine. If there’s any revisions necessary, I can do them without starting my new year on the wrong foot.
I maintain my goals on mostly short and medium term basis. This includes daily, weekly and quarterly planning (I don’t do monthly because it doesn’t work for me).
This may seem complicated (actually, it looks more complicated than it is but it’s just what helps me) but let me show you how exactly I do things.
I keep two diaries. One for daily and weekly and one for quarterly. I have a habit tracker on my phone for my daily non-Negotiables (exercise, meditation, reading and language).
The quarterly diary is my big big diary. Every quarter, it lists out all the big plans, what i want to do and who i want to be. It’s all the messy thoughts I have, all my dreams, my weaknesses, my strengths, etc etc. The only “practical” part of the diary is that there is one general plan made at the end of my mad scribbling. It has the general idea, feedback I’ve received from other people and compilation of all the advice I’ve gotten from my mentors.
2. The daily - weekly diary breaks the plan into manageable bits. I write out the week’s plan (who do i need to meet, who do i need to follow up with, any major presentation coming up, any assignment, what am i reading this week) and write a one sentence daily update on it.
I can’t use a habit tracker for this because i’m not tracking meditation or exercise on here. I’m tracking my career goals, my ambitious goals, into smaller goals. A habit tracker wouldnt cut it because I would have to elaborate more on certain things.
For example:
“20-27th Nov: Weekly list
budget presentation on Monday
1 event to attend on Tuesday. Topic: XYZ
Reading: the inheritors
reach out to mentor, schedule a meeting
7 language essays and 7 videos
Monday, 20th Nov.
work presentation: complete.
Feedback received: i need to work on XYZ.
points they raised that didnt cross my mind: XYZ
follow ups required and if yes, with who: XYZ
reading: complete. Interesting point they brought up: XYZ
essay for the day: complete.
Video complete:
Tuesday, 21st Nov
mentor meeting scheduled
event went well. Met: A, B, C who work in XYZ companies. Follow up with them next week for coffee/ drinks.
essay: complete
video: complete”
Having two diaries helps me because i can find my bigger goals without having to go through the daily entry mess. I like having the two separate.
Nov ‘23 + Dec ‘23 + Q1 2024’s goals include:
Social (meeting new people, maintaining networks)
Intellectual (biographies, documentaries, industry reports)
Personal (soft skills, language studies)
Work (presentations, courses, conferences)
A major change I’ve making this year is actively working on every single weakness I have that I know is a potential strength. I’m ignoring weaknesses that I know are 100% weaknesses like coding because there’s just no way I can sit in front of a computer and learn all that, it’s absolutely not my cup of tea and does not make me happy.
I made a list of every single weakness i have and I’m embarrassed about and ashamed of. 2024 is the year of NO shame. I’m not letting my intrusive thoughts win.
Next to each weakness I wrote out a potential solution.
Ex: not picking up the language i’m studying as fast as i want to -> write 1 short essay and a 1-2 minute video of me talking about anything in that language every single day
I’m not allowing any unnecessary negative self doubt or self talk happen. Constructive criticism is one thing, being a bitch to yourself is another. I plan to learn a lot next year.
I’ve created a manageable exposure therapy plan for myself - I aim to meet 3 new people every month and follow up with 5 new connections every month, whether it’s over chat or irl.
I’ve made a list of business biographies I’m going to read. This year I reached my reading target earlier than anticipated which I’m very happy about. Next year I’m focusing on books that are solely about business, technology and psychology.

Seven Minutes in Heaven (Chapter Two)
F!Reader x Gojo Satoru
Previous Chapter 1 (Tumblr/Ao3)
Summary: It was supposed to be a normal frat party. Just a stupid game of Seven Minutes in Heaven. Just him, king of never taking anything seriously, getting shoved into a closet for a dumb dare. And yet. Now, he can’t sleep. Can’t think. Can’t stop thinking about you. And one by one, his friends are starting to realize—Whatever happened in that closet? It never really ended.
Outside in the garden, Toji mocked. "Man got a straight-up haunted hard-on."
"Wait, wait, wait," Sukuna wheezed. "Tell me why bro just made out with a ghost so hard he got a fucking boner."
"Can we not call it that?" Satoru groaned.
"That’s exactly what it was," Hiromi confirmed, shaking his head. "You got seduced by a fucking spirit."
Shiu, lying on the grass scrolling through his phone, barely looked up as he added, "Even in the afterlife, women aren’t safe from your dick preceding your reputation."
"I'm gonna kill myself," Satoru muttered, running a hand down his face.
"Ghost girl might be into that," Choso said thoughtfully, sipping a beer.
"Yo, shut the fuck up," Satoru snapped.
"You were rock hard for a literal corpse." Shoko was almost rolling in the grass, clutching her bottle.
"FOR THE LAST TIME, I DIDN’T KNOW SHE WAS A GHOST!"
"And yet," Suguru drawled, gesturing vaguely at the still-very-visible problem in his jeans.
Satoru made a strangled noise, willing his soul to leave his body.
“If I see your haunted dick in my nightmares, I’m suing." Yuki yelled.
"I have hater friends. At least she thought I was beautiful." Satoru smirked.
A collective groan echoed through the garden.
Kento dragged a hand down his face. "I hate him. I hate him."
"Fucker just got ghosted in every sense of the word, and he still has the audacity to make it about his looks." Kashimo jeered, leaning on Haibara, who was barely holding himself up.
"Kill yourself," Sukuna muttered.
"Honestly, yeah," Hiromi agreed.
Satoru just grinned. "Jealous much?"
Suguru physically sighed. "Let's go, you delusional horny disaster."
---
Satoru couldn’t stop thinking about you.
Not the way your lips had felt against his, or how you made him laugh, or how you got flustered easily but still kissed him first like a paradox he couldn’t solve—though that haunted him, too.
No, it was the way you had looked at him.
Like you had been starving.
So, Satoru did what any rational person would do.
He spent an unhealthy amount of time at the library.
Gojo Satoru. At the library. Voluntarily. His friends thought he was having a crisis.
At first, there was nothing.
No students matching your description in the recent records.
No tragic accidents or ghost stories written in the university archives.
It was like you had never existed.
But then—
One night, while flipping through the school’s oldest records, something caught his eye.
An envelope stuffed with papers.
He pulled out a diary first.
Diary of Miss L/N
(Archivist - Leather-bound, gold-embossed. Found in the ruins of the university, its final pages splattered with what appears to be dried tears. Handwritten, ink fading in places. Some pages torn. Final entries nearly illegible—written in a shaking hand, desperate and uneven.)
January 3, 1914
There is a new litter of kittens in the old courtyard! I counted five, all squirming and mewling, their mother, a thin little thing who watches me with wary eyes. I left some bread soaked in milk, though I do not think she trusts me yet. Perhaps if I sit quietly tomorrow, she will let me closer.
(If I were a cat, would I be loved more easily?)
The groundskeeper scolded me, said I am too soft-hearted, that I let animals take advantage of me. As if a kitten could be cunning! I told him there is no harm in kindness. He only shook his head.
Satoru sat back, staring at the first entry, his thumb tracing your handwriting. He didn’t know much about you—hell, he didn’t even know you were alive a hundred years ago—but he could picture you, kneeling in the courtyard with kittens, trying to be kind. He imagined the faintest smile tugging at your lips when you saw them squirming in the dirt. The idea of you feeding a stray mother cat made his chest tighten in an odd, unfamiliar way. He ran his fingers along the edge of the paper, almost as if trying to feel your presence through it.
That groundskeeper? He was an idiot. He didn't get it. Satoru couldn't help but feel a spark of frustration. You didn’t need anyone’s permission to be kind. He almost laughed at the idea that someone might scold you for being soft-hearted. If anything, he wished he could go back and tell you not to worry about those around you. He would’ve probably looked at you the same way—the way he did when you kissed him, not knowing why or how, but unable to stop himself from caring just a little too much for someone so—soft.
January 10, 1914
I do not think they like me.
Not in the way they like each other.
They are polite, of course. They smile. They call me ‘Miss L/N’ with syrupy sweetness, but their eyes flicker. I see the way their lips press together when I speak. The way their laughter dies when I enter a room.
But it is alright. Not everyone has to like me.
I just wish they did not hate me, either.
Satoru skimmed the next entry, his eyes narrowing. You were already noticing the tension in the air, weren’t you? The polite smiles, the murmurs. The fake sweetness they showed you—he could practically hear the insincerity in their voices. He frowned, shaking his head. You didn’t deserve that. Nobody should ever make someone feel like they didn’t belong.
For some reason, even though you were long gone, he found himself angry on your behalf. He didn’t understand why they treated you that way. You were probably just too good for them, weren’t you? Too pure, too gentle. He shook the thought off, the sharpness of the moment still biting at him. It made him wonder if maybe he would’ve been one of the few who would’ve actually liked you.
January 25, 1913
Viscount Salvatore looked at me today. He did not merely glance—he looked. I was in the library, carrying too many books, and he leaned back in his chair, all effortless indifference, and drawled, "Planning to read all of those, Miss L/N? Or are you building a fort?"
(He thinks I am ridiculous.)
(He noticed me.)
I almost dropped Wuthering Heights on my foot.
A frown burrowed on Satoru’s face when he read about Viscount Salvatore. You noticed him. He noticed you.
He flipped your yearbook with his other hand to find any Salvtores; there had been two in your class who’d gone to become Army officials in the first World War and then died there. Your description fit the blue-eyed one with a cocky smirk. Like Satoru? Did you have a type?
He felt a slight sting in his chest at the thought of this Viscount—some guy who probably had no idea what to do with someone like you. Still, he couldn’t suppress the bitter taste in his mouth. Jealousy? Was that what this was?
A sigh slipped from his lips. It was stupid—he was more than a hundred years too late. He didn’t even know if you’d ever seen him the way he now imagined you looking at the Viscount. The thought of another guy noticing you—really noticing you—made him want to jump from a boat. But instead, he read on.
February 2, 1914
It was a joke. Just a prank.
"She'll cry and beg to be let out," one of them whispered, giggling behind her lace glove. "Let's see if Miss Perfect is still so polite in the dark."
The door slammed. The lock clicked.
The dark swallowed me whole.
I did not beg.
I bit my tongue until I tasted iron and waited. And when they let me out—smirking, triumphant—I smoothed my skirts, fixed my hair, and walked past them as if I had not spent the last hour choking on the thick, dusty air.
They did not like that.
"A little too perfect, isn’t she?"
(They will do it again.)
Satoru’s eyebrows furrowed as his gaze lingered on the next entry. You were trapped. Locked in a closet by the very people you probably thought were your friends. It was sickening. He almost couldn't finish reading—his stomach lurched with disgust. The way you didn't beg... it said so much about you. You must’ve been used to pain by then, used to being pushed aside and ignored. But still—you walked out of there like nothing had happened, like you didn’t carry the weight of what they had just done to you.
Satoru shook his head, muttering to himself, “Cowards. All of them.” He clenched the paper tighter in his hand. He hated the idea of you facing that kind of cruelty alone, without anyone there to stop it. He could feel it—your loneliness, your frustration, your unwillingness to break. And somehow, it only made him want to be there for you more. He'd never admit it, but there was a strange urge within him to make it right—even if it was a century too late.

Today, I found a sparrow with a broken wing. I named him Edgar (after Poe, of course).
I should have left him alone. Mother says I should not dirty my hands with such things. But he was shivering—how could I leave him?
Viscount Salvatore saw me, kneeling in the grass, my gloves stained with dirt. He raised an eyebrow but said nothing.
Then, just as he passed, he murmured, "Don’t name it. You’ll only make it harder."
He has such an awful way of speaking. Always so practical. So cold.
(He was right. Edgar did not make it through the night.)
Satoru didn’t expect to feel as deeply affected by this entry. You found a broken bird and tried to help it. Just like the kittens. Just like everything else. He read about the sparrow, Edgar, and that bitter, practical remark from Viscount Salvatore.
He rolled his eyes. That guy was cold, wasn’t he? It was almost like he couldn't even understand that you just wanted to do something kind. His jaw clenched slightly at the thought of this Viscount, cold and indifferent. Did he not understand the pain of losing something you tried so desperately to save?
“You deserved better than that.” Satoru muttered quietly to himself. He could barely comprehend it, but it stung to think of you, caring for something so fragile, and yet not having anyone there to help you when you needed it most. He could almost hear the sadness in your voice, like you were speaking not just about the bird, but about yourself.

Razor blades in my book bag today.
I did not see them in time.
A sharp sting—red seeping into my gloves, blooming against the pale silk like a dying rose.
A girl gasped.
One of them. The one who used to call me her friend.
She reached for me, hesitated. Opened her mouth—closed it.
Did nothing.
(They are all cowards.)
I smiled at her anyway.
(It is getting harder to smile.)
The entry made Satoru stop in his tracks. Razor blades? What the hell...? He had to reread the paragraph twice, the sharpness of the words sinking into him with every line. It was hard to stomach—knowing that someone, one of the people who had once called you their friend, did this to you. Left you bleeding and didn’t even care.
He felt a fire burning in his chest now, a rage that was foreign to him. A strange protectiveness, something darker, almost suffocating. He didn't know how you had kept going through all this. And yet, you had. You smiled through it all, even when everything in the world was trying to break you.
Satoru stood up suddenly, pacing around the room. He was aware of how ridiculous this was—he didn’t even know you. But damn it, you deserved someone who would’ve fought for you. Someone who would’ve taken those blades from your hands and never let you feel alone.

Viscount Salvatore pulled out a chair for me today.
The smallest thing. A flick of his wrist. A glance in my direction. A murmured, "Miss L/N."
But I have not been spoken to kindly in so long.
For a moment, my eyes burned. My throat ached.
But I said nothing. I only sat.
And when I looked up—just for a second—he was already watching me.
(What a strange, strange man.)
Satoru’s fingers lightly brushed over the paper. He didn’t know what it was, but something about that entry—Viscount Salvatore pulling out a chair for you—made him pause. He didn't react outwardly, keeping his face carefully blank, but internally? There was a slight stir of discomfort. It was such a small, insignificant thing, yet it meant so much to you. A simple gesture, something that should’ve been normal.
He imagined the quiet moment, your surprise. The thought that such a little thing could make you feel seen, even for a second, gnawed at him. A frustrated sigh left his lips. Why did it have to be like that? If he were there—if only he were there, he would’ve shown you kindness, not just with gestures, but with actions. But that was a thought he quickly pushed aside, frustrated by how much time had slipped through his fingers. He kept reading, though.

I have decided. I loathe Viscount Salvatore.
He is insufferable. He speaks in riddles and always looks as if he is laughing at me. I do not know why I bother thinking of him.
(He held the door open for me today. Said nothing. Just waited.)
(I hate him.)
A faint chuckle escaped his lips as he read the next entry. You’d decided to loathe Viscount Salvatore now. "Insufferable," you called him. Satoru almost wanted to agree, though he couldn't completely share your sentiment. He had a feeling there was more to him—more that was left unsaid. Still, it was a funny thought. Viscount Salvatore being that frustrating, mysterious figure. Satoru was intrigued by how you wrote about him with such sharpness, but the words seemed like a cover for something deeper. He wasn’t sure what, but the tension between you two was palpable.
“Is it really that bad?” he muttered, flipping the page, knowing he wasn’t going to get an answer. He felt a flicker of something, but the rest of the entry, especially with the way he “held the door open,” left him feeling... unsure. He wasn't exactly proud of it, but maybe there was some part of him that didn't want you to find comfort in anyone else.
March 2, 1914
I found a dead rat in my desk.
Its body bloated, eyes staring.
Its tiny mouth open, frozen in a silent scream.
There was a note pinned to its belly. Still feeling generous?
I swallowed back the nausea and took it outside myself.
(It is getting harder to breathe here.)
Satoru’s expression hardened as he read about the dead rat in your desk. He closed his eyes briefly, forcing himself to focus. The cruel games they played—it disgusted him. He could almost feel the sickening weight of it, as if it were happening right there, in front of him. Who does that? He set the paper down and ran his hand through his hair, trying to keep his composure, though his jaw was tight.
You didn’t even flinch. You simply took it outside. There was an odd kind of resolve in the way you wrote that. No begging. No breaking down. Just... handling it yourself. It made him uneasy—how much you had to endure, and how little anyone had cared. He couldn’t imagine what you went through, not yet, but the pieces were starting to come together. The cruelty. The silence. The isolation.
June 20, 1914
I am tired.
No, not tired. Weary.
I wake up with my body braced, waiting for something—waiting for the next whisper, the next cruel trick, the next unseen hand that will shove me down the stairs when no one is looking.
I have not eaten all day.
(They will not break me.)
The word “weary” hit Satoru like a punch to the gut. He could picture you, slumped in exhaustion, never having the chance to recover. He could almost hear the quiet panic that sat beneath those words. The next cruel trick, the next shove—it was too much. His hand tightened around the paper as he read on.
He didn’t need to know everything to understand that what you were going through wasn’t just physical. It was something deeper. Something that made your bones ache and your heart heavy. And yet, here you were, still breathing, still defiant. He let out a breath, annoyed at the powerlessness he felt just from reading your words.
July 24, 1914
I am going to the party.
They said they want to start over. That it was all just foolish jealousy. That they want to be friends.
I should not believe them.
I know I should not believe them.
But I am so, so tired of being alone.
Just for one night, I want to pretend I belong.
Satoru frowned, eyes narrowing. The truth was already in your words before you even said it. He felt an odd mix of sympathy and frustration as you told yourself you were going to the party—hoping, wishing to belong, even for just one night. He had to read that part again, swallowing a lump in his throat.
He flipped the page; the diary ended. Satoru immediately scrambled to pull out another stack of papers from the binder.
Final Entries – Found Scribbled in the Dark on Stationary available inside the closet
(Archivist - Stray pages, ink smudged. Words scratched over and rewritten as if she could not make her fingers hold steady.)

They lied.
Of course they lied.
The music was loud. The air was thick with cigarette smoke and laughter. For the first time in years, I thought—maybe.
Then hands.
Grabbing. Dragging.
"Let’s see how perfect you are now."
They locked me inside.
A closet. Small. Cramped.
The door will not open.
It has been hours.
(Or has it? I can’t tell.)
No one is coming.
The change in tone was abrupt, and Satoru’s pulse quickened as he read about the party. He could feel the shift, the claustrophobia, the betrayal seeping through the paper. The scribbled words—he could almost hear you gasping for air, trapped in that small closet.
“They lied.” That one line stung. It was so raw. He couldn’t make sense of it. He couldn’t make it right. But he had to know—he had to understand why you were forgotten. He had to keep reading, even if it made his heart feel like it was crumbling under the weight.
???, 1914
How many hours has it been?
They will come back.
They must come back.
Please, please, please—
My throat aches.
I screamed until my throat bled.
No one heard.
No one wants to hear.
(They have forgotten me.)
Satoru’s hands clenched around the papers. They had broken you in ways that even time couldn’t erase. And he could do nothing. He gritted his teeth, struggling to stay composed, but it was impossible to ignore the ache that had settled in his chest. You’d screamed until your throat bled, and they had... forgotten you.
Satoru sat with his elbows on the desk, his fingers steepled against his lips as he read the next entries. He was quiet now, the usual restless energy in his body drained away, leaving only a tense stillness. The words on the page felt heavier with each line.
???, 1914
I am thirsty.
I am so thirsty.
If I press my ear against the door, I can hear the music.
(Another party?)
They are still dancing.
They are still laughing.
They are still living.
And I am here.
Satoru’s throat felt tight. He swallowed against it, as if somehow that would make up for the dryness that must have burned through yours. He could picture it too clearly—the way your lips must have cracked, your voice reduced to a rasp.
And yet, they were still dancing.
Satoru exhaled sharply. You were still there, forgotten, while life carried on just outside the door. The thought made him nauseous.
His fingers flexed against the paper. If I had been there... But he hadn’t been. No one had. That was the entire tragedy of it.
???, 1914
It is quiet.
No music. No voices.
Something has happened.
Why won’t anyone come?
Satoru’s breath slowed. You didn’t know. You had no idea that while you were trapped in that suffocating darkness, the world outside had shifted.
They left.
No one had opened the door. No one had checked. It wasn’t even malice at this point—it was worse. It was indifference.
His jaw clenched. You weren’t even aware that the world had moved on without you. You were just waiting. Waiting for a help that would never come.
July 28, 1914
Sirens.
War.
The halls are empty.
They have all gone home.
No one remembers I am here.
No one remembers at all.
Sirens. The first world war. The absence. His hand trembled. The emptiness of the halls. You had been forgotten amidst the chaos, the madness of the world falling apart. He hated the feeling of it. The helplessness. The way everything—everything—slipped away, leaving only that quiet, sickening silence. He muttered a curse under his breath, feeling a heavy weight in his stomach.
You had been alone. And it wasn’t just the physical isolation. It was the fact that no one even cared enough to remember you.
???, 1914
(Archivist - The ink is uneven, pressed too hard into the paper—her hand must have been shaking.)
I dreamed of Viscount Salvatore.
He pulled out a chair for me again.
Only this time, when I sat, he turned to me and said, "I see you."
I woke up crying.
(He will not remember me either.)
Viscount Salvatore was back in your dreams. And now, Satoru was reading about how you woke up crying. He shook his head slowly, his eyes closing briefly. Even in your lonely moments, he was there, haunting you—both a comfort and a torment. He could almost see it in his mind, the way Viscount Salvatore's distant gaze would have held some measure of regret, maybe even longing. But none of that would ever matter now.
“Damn it,” Satoru cursed under his breath. He didn't even know what he was mad at—himself, the Viscount, or fate. The whole damn situation. You didn’t deserve any of it.
???, 1914
There is no light.
I am afraid to sleep. Afraid I will wake up and it will still be dark. Afraid I won’t wake up at all.
I think I can hear something scratching. Or maybe it is just my own heartbeat.
Satoru shut his eyes for a brief second. That sentence—it was worse than the others. It wasn't just physical anymore. It wasn’t just being locked inside. It was the fear creeping in.
Afraid to sleep. Afraid to wake up and still be in the dark. Afraid to never wake up at all.
He felt sick. You weren’t even sure if you existed anymore. If you were real.
He let his head drop forward slightly, fingers pinching the bridge of his nose. It was just a diary. Just words. So why did it feel like they were clawing at something inside of him?
???, 1914
I had a Mother?
Satoru’s eyes flicked back to the page, scanning the sentence again.
His stomach twisted.
You were unraveling.
That was what this was. Not just hunger. Not just thirst. Your mind was fraying at the edges, breaking apart piece by piece.
He shifted in his seat, suddenly uncomfortable, a strange, suffocating weight settling in his chest. You had been alone for so long that even memories were slipping away.
You were forgetting yourself.
???, 1914
I dreamed of the kittens.
They were hungry. So was I.
I woke up biting my sleeve.
Satoru closed his eyes again. That dream—it wasn’t just a memory. It was your body crying out, pulling at whatever fragments of warmth it could find.
And when you woke up, you were biting your sleeve.
His lips pressed into a tight line. He didn’t want to think about that. He didn’t want to picture you curled up in the dark, trying to trick yourself into feeling full.
He ran a hand through his hair, swallowing hard.
???, 1914
I have started whispering my own name.
I am afraid I will forget it.
Satoru blinked. The words blurred for a second before coming back into focus.
You were losing yourself. The last thing you had—the only thing left. Your own name. And even that was slipping.
His grip on the paper was too tight now. He forced himself to relax his fingers before he crumpled it.
You had been so, so alone.
???, 1914
I do not want to die like this.
I do not want to die in the dark.
Satoru’s shoulders tensed, but he forced himself to read it again.
You knew. By then, you knew.
It was no longer just fear. It was a final, quiet understanding.
Satoru’s hand came up, fingers pressing lightly against his temple. He had read countless things in his life—reports, records, confessions. But this?
This was someone—you—begging the universe for something it had already denied you.
???, 1914
Did he ever think of me?
Did Viscount Salvatore ever notice that I was gone?
(I am so, so cold.)
???, 1914
I can hear it raining.
There is no hunger anymore.
No thirst.
Just cold.
So, so cold.
???, ????
(Archivist - Final entry. Ink smeared, nearly unreadable.)
If someone finds this—Please—Please remember me.
Satoru didn’t move.
He stared at the words, his vision blurring for a moment before sharpening again.
His throat felt tight.
His grip on the page softened, and he slowly, carefully, set it down.
Satoru wasn’t sure what he was supposed to do with this—this aching, gnawing thing in his chest. He didn’t have the words for it. But as he reached for the next stack of papers.

MYSTERY OF THE FORGOTTEN GIRL: REMAINS DISCOVERED IN UNIVERSITY WALLS
Renovation Workers Uncover Skeleton, Raising Chilling Questions About the Past
By George L. Whitmore
SHIZUKA CITY—A routine renovation at one of the country’s most prestigious universities took a macabre turn last week when construction workers stumbled upon a hidden closet sealed within the walls of the East Wing. Inside, they found the skeletal remains of a young woman, her body curled as if she had simply lain down and never risen again. The discovery has sent shockwaves through the academic community, raising unsettling questions about how she came to be there—and why no one ever looked for her.
The identity of the deceased remains unknown. No records exist of a missing student from the time period estimated by forensic specialists—likely the early 20th century. But one thing is certain: she was left there. Forgotten.
A Name Erased
The East Wing, once a grand structure funded by old money and aristocratic influence, had been largely abandoned for decades before renovations began last fall. The university, now bearing the Gojo family name, was once under the patronage of another dynasty—one that, curiously, has all but vanished from historical record.
Researchers digging into archived documents found faint traces of a once-powerful benefactor: the L/N family. According to a 1907 university registry, the L/Ns were among the wealthiest patrons of the institution. From Arms dealings, their contributions were responsible for much of its early expansion. And yet, no descendants remain. No estate. No legacy.
A mere decade after their peak, the family seems to have disappeared altogether. Their name erased. Their wealth scattered.
And now, this girl—the girl in the closet.
A Harmless Prank Gone Horribly Wrong?
The discovery has sparked whispered theories among university staff and alumni. Some recall long-forgotten stories, rumors passed down like ghost stories in dormitory halls. Stories of a girl. Beautiful. Intelligent. Kind. Too kind.
“She was perfect, too perfect,” said one retired professor, who wished to remain anonymous. “People resented her for it. The way the faculty admired her. The way she carried herself. There were whispers, of course—ugly, jealous things. But back then, the school was different. There were rules about what could and could not be spoken aloud.”
While no official reports exist of bullying, former students who attended in the early 1900s recall the cruel pranks that were common among the elite circles of the time. Stolen books. Torn dresses. Whispered mockeries disguised as etiquette lessons.
Then there was the incident at a party—a party that took place just before the world changed forever.
“She went missing that night,” said another source, a woman in her seventies who had attended the university in the years following the First World War. “There were rumors, of course. But no one ever spoke of it directly. And then the war came, and everything was forgotten. Just like that.”
What started as a childish prank—locking a girl in a storage closet—became something else entirely when the world was plunged into chaos. Sirens screamed. Students fled. The university shut its doors. And no one, not a single soul, remembered to let her out.
A Legacy Stolen by Time
The timing is chilling. The L/N family vanished not long after. Their once-glorious estate burned to the ground under mysterious circumstances. With their wealth depleted in a desperate search for their missing daughter, they faded into obscurity, lost to history. Meanwhile, the university found a new patron—one with deeper pockets, stronger influence. The Gojo family.
“Nothing stays empty for long,” remarked historian Dr. Henry Carrington. “Power abhors a vacuum. One name disappears; another takes its place. That’s how history works. The question is whether it was simply fate... or something more deliberate.”
What Comes Next?
For now, the remains of the forgotten girl lie in the care of forensic specialists, who will attempt to identify her and, perhaps, grant her the dignity she was denied in life. The university has yet to release an official statement, though sources indicate there are plans to memorialize the discovery.
Still, the air remains heavy with unspoken truths. A legacy buried beneath floorboards. A name erased. A girl left to die in the dark, her existence fading from memory even as the institution she was meant to inherit flourished without her.
And now, decades later, she has returned. Not as a scholar. Not as an heir.
But as a skeleton in the walls of a university that no longer remembers her name.
Satoru understood what had happened.
---
1914
The first time they locked you inside, it was supposed to be a joke. A harmless prank.
“You’ll cry and beg to be let out,” one of them whispered, a cruel giggle curling around her words as she hid her smirk behind a lace-gloved hand. “Let’s see if Miss Perfect is still so polite in the dark.”
You cried.
But you didn’t beg.
Not that night.
Not yet.
It didn’t surprise you. You’d always known people resented you. You were the only child of the L/N family—their legacy was carved in the very stone of the university. Wealth, power, influence, all wrapped in a name that commanded respect. Your family had funded these halls, shaped them. Built them.
And you were meant to carry that weight forward, to live up to expectations that came with being the heir of such a name. You studied hard, spoke softly, helped others without a second thought. You tried to meet the world with grace.
But you had made one mistake.
You were kind. Too kind.
You didn’t wear your last name like armor. You didn’t command respect with a gaze sharp enough to cut or a voice cold enough to freeze. You didn’t move like royalty among commoners. You spoke gently, smiled too much, helped without expecting anything in return.
And that, apparently, was enough to make them hate you.
They called you perfect. A fraud wrapped in silk and sweetness. A girl born to wealth, yet untouched by cruelty. It made them sick to their stomachs. They told themselves your kindness was a mask. That you were pretending. That behind your soft smile, you looked down on them.
The whispers slithered through the hallways, filled every corner of every dormitory, echoed between the benches in lecture halls. “She must think she’s better than us.” The rumors crept, fed by jealousy and disdain, each one sinking deeper, until they made it their mission to tear you down.
It started small. Stolen assignments. Ink spilled all over your uniform. Books knocked from your arms as you passed, their laughter trailing behind you like a shadow.
But then the pranks grew worse. Razor blades slipped into the lining of your bag, waiting to slice your fingers. Your tea, laced with ink, stained your lips and tongue black for hours. Dead rats left in your desk drawers, bloated and stinking, their decaying bodies a cruel reminder of their hatred.
You had friends—or you thought you did. But when you looked to them, their smiles faltered. They said nothing. Did nothing. They looked away.
So, you endured it all alone.
Then came the night of the party.
You hadn’t wanted to go. But one of the girls, the one you still foolishly believed to be a friend, begged you. She said everyone wanted to start over, that they regretted their childish jealousy and were ready to put it behind them.
You wanted to believe it. You wanted so badly to believe that people could change, that cruelty wasn’t the default. You wanted to believe that if you just endured long enough, they would see you for who you really were.
So, you went.
The music was loud, thick with the beat of drums and the pulse of electric guitars. The air was heavy with smoke, alcohol, and the scent of youth gone wild. Laughter rang out, spinning around you as people twirled under lantern light. For the first time in years, you thought maybe—just maybe—you weren’t so alone after all.
But then, hands grabbed you.
They pulled you, dragged you away from the laughter, from the light, down the dim hallway that felt colder with every step. You struggled, but there were too many of them. Nails dug into your skin, and their breath reeked of whiskey and sweat.
They laughed. “Let’s see how perfect you are now.”
The closet was small. Cramped. A tiny, forgotten storage room in the corner of the building, filled with old books and dusty supplies. They shoved you inside.
You stumbled, tripping over the rough wooden floor, your hands scraping against the splintered walls. The door slammed behind you, the sound of the lock clicking echoing in your chest. You barely had time to press yourself against the door before it shut you in complete darkness.
“Let’s see how sweet you are after this,” they jeered, and then they were gone.
At first, you thought it was a joke. Any second now, they would open the door, laughing, saying it was just a prank. The music outside was still loud. The sounds of celebration filled your ears, muffling your screams and your frantic banging against the door.
They would let you out.
Of course, they would.
Wouldn’t they?
You banged harder. Screamed louder.
But no one came.
Minutes passed. Then an hour. Two.
Your fists were raw, your throat burned from the screams, but still, nothing.
At some point, you must have fallen asleep. When you woke up, your mouth was dry, your body stiff and cold. You were still in your party dress, but your shoes were gone. You had lost them somewhere, in the chaos of being dragged.
You banged again. Screamed louder.
Nothing.
More hours passed. Maybe a day. You tried to count the time, but it blurred. The darkness stole all sense of it.
Then, one night—though you couldn’t tell if it was day or night anymore—something changed.
The university went silent.
The once-bustling halls were empty. The voices, the laughter, the music—gone.
In the distance, you heard sirens. A sound that felt like the last thread of the world unraveling.
The world was at war.
Overnight, everything collapsed. Students fled. Professors disappeared. The university shut down.
And no one, not a single soul, remembered that you were still locked in that closet.
The hunger was unbearable at first. You pressed your hands against your stomach as it twisted in agony, but after a while, even hunger faded into the background. The thirst, however, never left. Your lips cracked, your throat burned, your vision swam.
But you were too weak to scream now.
At some point, you stopped feeling anything at all.
No one remembered the girl in the closet.
Days passed. Maybe weeks. Maybe months.
But in the end, it didn’t matter.
There was only silence.
When they finally reopened that part of the university—years, maybe decades later, during renovations—the workers found a hidden closet behind the walls. They found a skeleton, still curled on the floor, clutching the remains of a tattered dress.
No one knew who you were. Your records were gone.
The L/N family was erased from history.
Your parents had searched for you. Desperately. They spent every penny, called in every favor, tore the world apart looking for their only child.
But war doesn’t care for grieving parents.
They died before they could uncover the truth. Your home burned. And with them, the name that had once shaped this university disappeared from the records.
The buildings once funded by your family were renamed. The university you were supposed to inherit now bore another family’s name.
The Gojo family.
And you?
You had simply ceased to exist.
---
Present Day
Satoru stared at the newspaper article in his hands, the words blurring as his chest tightened. It felt like someone had reached into him, squeezing the air from his lungs until he couldn’t breathe. His vision wavered, the paper in his hands turning into nothing more than a smear of ink and empty noise.
He had spent the entire night digging. Searching. Prying through the layers of forgotten history no one had cared to remember. And now—
Now, he wished he hadn’t.
His chest ached. His stomach churned with the weight of it. He hadn’t expected to find this. He hadn’t expected to feel the crushing blow of reality, the terrible, suffocating guilt that twisted through him like a knife.
You had smiled at him.
how your fingers had trembled in his hands, how your wide, nervous eyes had held so much uncertainty, yet a quiet hope. And when you kissed him, your lips soft and warm against his, it had been the kind of kiss that felt like it was long overdue—like you’d been waiting a lifetime for someone to touch you.
And now he knew why.
You had been waiting for a hundred years.
A hundred years of silence. A hundred years of darkness. A hundred years of loneliness so deep it suffocated you, a cruel weight on your chest that no one had ever bothered to lift.
He thought about the closet. The cramped, suffocating space. The darkness. The silence that stretched on for years, unbroken. The pain of realizing no one was coming, no one cared.
The students who had shoved you inside. The laughter as they walked away, their voices fading into the distance while you were left to rot alone in a forgotten corner of the university. The friends who had seen it happen and did nothing. The ones who had turned their backs when you needed them most.
Satoru’s chest tightened further, a sharp pain stabbing through him. His teeth ground together, his jaw clenched so tight it felt like it might crack. His hands shook, trembled violently, as if they could somehow undo what had been done, erase the horror of it all.
He wanted to break something. Throw something. Tear through this cursed world and go back, back to that night, back to when he could’ve stopped it. To rip open that damn door and pull you into his arms, to tell you that you were never alone. That he would have fought for you. That someone—anyone—should have fought for you.
But it was too late.
One hundred years too late.
He sucked in a shaky breath, but it didn’t help. His lungs felt tight, and his throat closed up, like something was blocking the air. His hands shook as he traced the edges of the photograph in front of him. A group of students stood there, stiff and formal, their faces solemn in that black-and-white world of the early 1900s. They were so... distant. Detached. Like they were living in a world completely untouched by joy, by life.
And then there was you.
At the edge of the group, standing out like a ghost, yet so very present. Your soft features. Your gentle eyes. Your delicate, hopeful expression that somehow still managed to look so... lonely.
Beneath the photo, in delicate cursive handwriting, the caption read: "Class of 1914. Including Miss Y/N, the only child of the L/N family—our university’s first founding patrons."
Satoru’s breath caught in his throat.
Your name should have been everywhere. It should have been on every plaque, in every building, carved into the very bones of this place. Your family had built this school, laid its foundations with their blood and wealth. You had been the heir, the future.
And yet—
No one remembered your name.
Satoru’s pulse pounded in his ears, a frantic rhythm that seemed to echo in his chest. His fingers curled into the paper, the fragile edges crinkling beneath his grip. His heart hammered in his chest as he clenched his jaw, fighting back the urge to scream.
This school, his school, had been built on the L/N family name. Your family’s legacy was supposed to be immortal, etched into the very structure of the place. And yet, all he saw now were the names of the Gojo family—his family—everywhere. The library. The dormitories. The lecture halls.
Your family had been erased.
A sickening wave of anger washed over him. He wanted to scream, to tear the world apart. He wanted to shove the truth in their faces, shove it into the faces of everyone who’d forgotten you. Everyone who had abandoned you. But more than anything—he wanted to go back.
He wanted to go back to that night.
He wanted to break down that fucking door, drag you into the light, and tell you, "You weren’t alone. You’ll never be alone again."
But he couldn’t.
It was too late.
One hundred years too late.
He squeezed his eyes shut, but the image of your face lingered. You, the girl who had been forgotten. The girl whose name had been erased from history. The girl who had waited for someone to remember, to fight for her. The girl who had suffered alone.
No one remembered you now.
But Satoru did.
A/N: Did you get who Viscount Salvatore was?

Tips and tricks from your friend Hazel!
I do not promote nor condone extremely unhealthy habits, tips or more. However, this is never going to be completely healthy, and people worry, so here’s how to hide it, stop b1ng1ng and more!
The most important thing first. Do not share your following or likes! I know this sucks as we want to share each other’s post and such, however if someone gets reported and termed, said person who did this can spam report all the followed accounts and liked posts first! Meaning everyone gets termed, try keep things private <3
1. Only open food, touch and consume food within the radius of friends, family or other, this way they will see you eating ‘a lot’ and ‘often’, and will be less likely to suspect.
2. Constantly bake around family, friends and other, serve them slices, plates and take a portion for yourself, make sure it’s low-cal! This will yet again trick them into believing you eat more than you do., they might ask you to do it more often, meaning it’s easier to keep track of what you consume and know what’s in your food!
3. Mention eating ‘cleaner’, and dieting, make sure you eat healthy around them, and go to the gym (if possible,) or workout at home. If they begin to question, just mention how it’s a trend on social media, ‘new year, new me’, or how you want to be more thoughtful with your health. This way, they won’t question you cooking for yourself, nor weight loss or constant working out and will look at it in a new light.
4. Play with your food, I understand this is always been a thing you’re taught NOT to do, however, I don’t mean push it around your plate into a pile of mush, I mean spend time preparing it, decorating it, and spending a long time actually making the food, before you consume it. This lengthens time before eating and or breaking a fast.
5. Volume eating. If you’re like myself and struggle more with portion sizes, and the need to fill in emotions such as boredom and sadness by consuming everything in sight, volume eating is for you. Making a notes entry, diary or journal with written down ingredients that contain low cal’s, nutrients and protein that you enjoy, you can track ingredients that you can shove into a huge bowl and eat to your hearts content!
6. Stay away from the kitchen. Usually, I find myself perfectly fine all day, and would continue to stay that way too if I didn’t walk into my kitchen. I find myself grabbing a quick snack out of instinct and it turns into a whole mountain of wrappers! Only enter at designated times, and stay focused on what you need, discipline yourself!
7. I know this isn’t possible for most, however, if it is, try it! Buying meals on the day. Instead of stocking up on food and having ingredients, snacks and such that you can constantly have access too, buy meals and snacks on the day or time you consume them, this way when you’re at home, you don’t have access to any and have to leave the house to get them. This way, even if you leave the house to get them and eat more, you’ll still burn some cals there and back.
8. Ditch transportation. If it’s walkable, walk it, rain or shine, walk it. Do not use transportation such as trains, buses or cars if you can easily walk it, this not only helps the planet, can slow down climate change and pollution, but help you lose weight! I know it sucks and may feel like a lot of exercise if you pair this with shopping daily not weekly, however you’ll learn to enjoy it, such as I do!
Hi hi! Sorry for my disappearance, I’ve been keeping busy so I don’t b1ng3 but I’m back now, I hope y’all enjoy my post :) (some tips are from previous posts, but hey! They’re good tips! Will be adding to later, again, no excuse this time)
