Hi, I was wondering, since it is the holiday winter season, if you could do something kinda similar to the Halloween one I requested, but it's the One Piece Guys (Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Sabo, Ace, Law, and Kidd) X Reader, in like short stories but it's them and reader doing romantic Christmas/Winter activities together?
Christmas drabbles
A/N: since this was my first year with the blog, i didn't think of doing specials for halloween and christmas like kinktober and fluffmas, things like that. So thanks to the people that requested it and i hope that for the next year i organize myself to have that events ready. And Merry Christmas!!!!
Masterlist
Luffy

Snowball fight
You asked for Nami's help and she "unintentionally" diverted the ship's course to get to a winter island.
When you all got there, Luffy was inmediatly heading to a playground full of snow, guiding you with his hand.
You both spent all afternoon doing snowball fights with the crew and building weird looking snowmen.
At the end, all the crew reunited to take dinner at some tabern of the village and Luffy whispered on your hear.
"I know that you talked to Nami to get here, i always wanted to have a snowy day, thanks... i love you." you couldn't believe that he knew and was able to wait all day to say it to you.
Zoro

Drinking outside.
You thought that he would want to stay inside the ship or on the deck.
But when you all got to a village with a christmas market and a lot of stands full of food, drinks, crafts and a lot of ambient an people, you were surprised to see that he took you by the arm and dragged you to the place.
Seeing all the liquor stands made you thought that he only wanted to get drunk but for every sip he took, he passed you another.
And then you went to try the free samples of food, and then he paid for two hot cocoas and took you again by the arm to take a walk.
You both sat at a bench and saw the people walk while you finished the liquor chocolate.
"I know that we went to almost every stant that had alcohol but if you want to go to an especific one, you can say it."
And then you saw a big wheel and even that he didn't quite like heights, he kept his word and you even took pictures.
Sanji

Since he is the cook of the ship, all his day resumed on cooking christmas dinner.
So, since he can't get out of the kitchen to be with you, you went to the kitchen to be with him.
He was a little stressed cause it's a special night but you managed to help a little, even if it was just peeling potatoes.
You played music and sang together while moving around, even a couple of times swinging together like you were dancing.
The dinner was a succss, obviously and everyone staying eating until midnight, then everyone headed to their quarters.
You helped him clean the dishes and you thought that you both would head to bed and sleep but.
"Mon amour, you've been my ray of hope all day and i couldn't give you the attention you deserved... now i am fully yours and we can go take a walk."
If the ship is near to an island, you would go take a walk to there if not, then he would do some hot cocoa and you both would sit on the deck.
Trafalgar Law

Kissing under a mistletoe.
All day, the crew tried to make you both kiss.
Law was evading this the best he could but you were oblivious to that plan.
One particular moment, you were about to exit a room and he was about to enter, so you both crashed and suddently a small mistletoe appeared above your heads.
Thanks to Shachi and a fishing rod.
You laughed and kissed his cheek, but he was so nervous that he turned his head and you both ended up kissing on the lips.
He dissapeared and you were really sad, until before the dinner he appeared with a small box of your favourite chocolate, flowers and a letter.
"Im sorry, i really like you but i didn't plan on our first kiss to be like that."
When you looked at him again, you saw that he was holding a mistletoe above both of your heads and a small smile.
Eustass Kidd

Giving gifts.
Eustass wasn't the type to give gou anything, like at all.
And you thought that for christmas he at least would have a little detail with you, but he wasn't showing any signs of that, even talking to Killer that the tradition of giving gifts was stupid.
You were starting to feel hurt cause you already bought something to him.
When dinner was finishing you decided to give him yours, at least to make him feel bad about his behaviour.
He just simply said "thanks".
Your heart cracked and you felt like crying.
You thought about not sleeping on the room that night but you didn't have the guts, you felt stupid.
Kid didn't went to bed with you at the moment and by the time he did, you were already sleep. You thought that probably he went partying with the boys but you didn't have the humour.
When you woke up, you saw a lot of gifts all over the room. You decided to nudge him.
"What?! I thought you would be happy that i get you all the crap that you were saying all the year."
"This are all the things i said i wanted ... in the year?!" he nodded, "you idiot, i thought you weren't going to do nothing... i was really sad and felt like shit."
"Woman, how could i not give you anything? it's christmas! i wanted to make it special... and thanks for YOUR gift, i really like it."
Ace
Binge watching and celebrating with the crew.
You all had stopped by on an island that had a sky station so he was living the dream.
In a very reckless way, so, soon enough he broke his leg and had to stay inside of the room.
He was sad and grumpy cause he didn't like to feel like an invalid and tried to escape a couple of times.
You managed to convince everyone to give him a surprise and make the dinner on your room.
It was fun and noisy and all of you didnt care.
He was happy and didn't try to escape for the whole night.
Then everyone left to give you some "privacy".
"Hey babe, i realized that maybe staying inside is not as bad as i thought, we can finally catch up with all the movies we didn't see."
He smiled showing you all the DVDs while catching the den den mushi to order even more food.
Sabo
Just resting.
It was christmas but legionaries never sleep, or relax, or celebrate...
So you were working on a new plan, even when Dragon sent you to your quarters.
So, when Sabo came back from an special mission just to surprise you on holidays and found out that you were working... he made a plan.
He set everything on the room to make a romantic christmas night, some themed movies and made all the shoping groceries.
And then he appeared behind you, you were so tired that you thought he was a ghost.
So he took the chair and dragged you closer to him.
"My beautiful and worker girlfriend, Dragon sent you to the room."
"But, i thought you wouldn't be here so i didn't have a reason to celebrate."
"I love you so much." he blushed and kissed you, and then take you on bridal style to the room.

Here I go again
Mamma Mia inspired
I hope you enjoy this, I’m hoping to write it as a pick your own so they’ll each have their own individual stories so you can pick who you want the father to be.
On a quiet island far from the chaos of the Grand Line, you’ve built a peaceful life raising your daughter. But as her wedding approaches, she realizes there’s one thing missing—her father. Determined to find out who he is, she secretly reads your old diary, only to uncover a shocking truth: there are three possible candidates.
Shanks - part 2 part 3

The sun hung lazily in the sky, casting golden light over the small island you called home. Waves lapped gently against the shore as laughter rang from the bustling town square, where preparations for the wedding of the year were well underway. Your daughter, a whirlwind of excitement, had spent the morning running between vendors, making sure every detail was perfect. But now, hidden away in her bedroom, she sat cross-legged on her bed, an old, leather-bound diary resting in her lap.
Your diary.
With hesitant fingers, she traced the worn edges of the cover, feeling a strange mix of nerves and anticipation. She wasn’t proud of snooping, but she had no other choice. Ever since she was little, it had just been the two of you—no father in sight. And now, with her wedding just days away, she wanted to know the truth.
She took a deep breath and flipped to the first page.
Entry 1
It still feels unreal being out on the sea. The first real adventure of my life, and I don’t know whether to laugh or throw up over the side of the ship. This crew is crazy, but in the best way. I’ve never felt more alive. And him… well, he’s trouble. The kind that makes your heart race in ways it shouldn’t.
Entry 7
I shouldn’t like him this much. But when he smiles, it’s like the whole damn ocean stops to listen. The way he carries himself, all confidence and mischief, like nothing can touch him… It’s impossible not to get caught up in the whirlwind that is Shanks.
---
Your daughter’s eyes widened. Shanks? As in Red-Haired Shanks? The legendary pirate? She let out a breathless laugh, shaking her head. That couldn’t be right. Could it?
She turned the page.
---
Entry 15
I knew he was reckless, but I didn’t think he’d drag me into it, too. We barely made it out of that fight in one piece. I should be furious at him. I should never speak to him again. But when he looks at me with that cocky grin and those burning eyes, all I can think is—Ace, you absolute idiot, you’re going to be the death of me.
---
She covered her mouth, heart pounding. Portgas D. Ace? Fire Fist Ace? The stories about him were legendary. Was he her father?
Her hands trembled as she turned the page again.
---
Entry 23
He doesn’t talk much. At least, not in the way most people do. But I’ve learned to understand him in other ways. The way he nods when he listens. The way he lingers just a little longer when we say goodbye. The way he fights like the whole world is depending on him. He’s rough around the edges, but there’s something in his eyes—something I can’t walk away from. Zoro might be the most stubborn man I’ve ever met, but when he holds me, it’s the only time I’ve ever felt truly safe.
---
Your daughter gasped, staring at the name. Roronoa Zoro?! The Pirate Hunter turned right-hand man of the future Pirate King?
She shut the diary, hands shaking. Three names. Three impossible names. And no answers.
Her heart pounded as realization set in.
She needed to find them.
And she needed to do it before the wedding.

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐅𝐎𝐑𝐄 𝐀 𝐊𝐈𝐒𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐌 ﹙including: flame emperor sabo, trafalgar law, portgas d. ace﹚ ﹙theme: super duper fluffy stuff & second paragraph turns into pure smut, mdni!!﹚

flame emperor sabo
sabo’s soft thumb caressed the skin right underneath your bottom lip. the small crinkle traced by his badly cut fingernail while his dilated pupils glistened with curiosity. he witnessed most of the reactions, and yet, above all he loved to experience new, lingering touches. but this current moment repeated itself since the confession of feelings started. sabo has always been a more gentle man behind closed doors than shown in the eye of the public. your chin propped up on the side of his pointer finger, tilting your head slightly back to steady the intensity of the eye contact. just a simple kiss, a quick peck, seemed impossible for sabo. he wanted the entire experience. watch how the shade of strawberry pink spread across the span of your cheeks, how you resisted the urge to chew on the soft skin of your lip while waiting for sabo to make a move. oh, he loved seeing you fall apart with the slightest touch of his gloveless fingers before his soft rose-colored lips pecked yours. so quickly, awaiting the begging for more because the flame emperor, the revolutionary was a devilish man hidden behind the gentle face of a blonde angel.
— mdni!! nsfw content
sabo knew perfectly which buttons to push to edge you closer to the second orgasm tonight. one was simply an insult to his skilled fingers and seductive tactics. eyes wide open and focused on the way yours fluttered close with each deep thrust of his hips. holding up his weight with his right underarm, sabo placed his left hand underneath your chin. the same position he loved to have you in when not being inside of you. skin slapping against skin echoed through the room, and the tip of the revolutionary’s thumb brushed over your bottom lip. ever so lightly, sabo pushed his thumb into the warmth of your mouth, freeing your plush bottom lip from the assault of your teeth. “don’t do that,” the blonde fire user muttered, punctuating his demand with a particularly harsh thrust. slender fingers underneath your chin pushed slightly, tilting your head further into the neck. a chance to glance at your almost-closed eyes while approaching another orgasm. “the sight makes it so fucking hard to control myself but we do have all night,” he chuckled quietly but was consumed by devilish thoughts while increasing the rhythm of his waist. multiple orgasm were the challenge, and hell, you should have not teased him as much as you did.

trafalgar d. water law
nose deeply in the books he carried out of the last library, reading about the myths of the world, and the stories other people told on the pages until the doctor would tell his own. always so busy with the books, the folders, his own notes. so when you burst into his office, attempting to gain his attention or lure him outside on the deck to celebrate a little bit with the crew, law could read your intentions without having to glance at you. so when you stood in front of him, almost too shy to even ask, law used the book in sheets in his hand to help you raise your head and glance at him. pages tightly together, stapled above one another., the upper margins of the book in sheets placed carefully underneath your chin. edges slightly pushed to the inside with his sprawled out hand, and pushing upwards to tilt your head. you knew it was the east way, the soft way of law’s demands to make eye contact. the dust of a sweet cherry red which covered your cheeks forced a thin but small smile on his lips before leaning forward with a quiet chuckle and pecking your chewed up lips as a gesture to greet you in his personal bubble. the only person, right next to bepo, he would allow to walk in without permission.
— nsfw content ahead!! mdni!!
it was a certain surprise when law’s behavior changed in the sheets. he still kept the dominance, he still set the pace. but being on top of you, feeling the sweaty palms of your soft hands explore his chest every single time, it triggered a rather soft side of the doctor to step out. you weren’t scratching, your fingertips carefully traced the tattoo of his jolly roger repeatedly. fingers of his unused hand intertwined with yours, reveling in the warmth and tightness of your gummy walls. the lingering gaze drifted from your eyes down to your lips. the quivering of your bottom one, the way your teeth dragged so harshly across the soft skin while the attempt to suppress a whiny moan failed. the tip of his sharp nose nudged yours multiple times. two to three to get your attention and convince you to open your lids again. once you did, he guided your head upward before his chapped lips found your puffy ones. there was no need to use his hands if he could once in a while show the soft side, he allowed to surface in your presence. not all the time, but enough to show the deep and meaningful emotions he had for you. even while his hips snapped so harshly against yours, and the sound of skin slapping against skin echoed through the bedroom, law visited not so often. "you're mine, love," he would mutter between deep, almost inaudible groans.

portgas d. ace
there are two ways which only differ slightly and it easily depends on the mood he's in. coming back from a mission after being unable to see your beautiful face for weeks, ace is a tad softer with his touches. calloused palms of his hands placed on each side of your face. little finger along your jaw, the rough pad of his thumb stroking along your smiling lips, taking in each twist and turn in your beautiful features. oh, how he remembered the details so clearly, dreamt of them every night. the first touch is so sweet, so loving. almost leaving traces of admiration along the sharp line of your jaw. but then there's also the second way, ace would hold your face. extremely warm hands placed almost exactly the same, but the calloused palm pushed your cheeks further together. you would immediately know that the fire fist drowned any sorrows in multiple glasses of booze. since the whitebeard pirates loved a good, old feast to celebrate any given day, ace was mostly under the influence of the alcoholic liquid, and acted rather with soft humor than gentle honesty.
— nsfw content ahead!! mdni!!
ace might love to show you how much he loved and adored you, but in ways that weren't exactly described as gentle or soft. pounding into you harshly, the loud sound of skin slapping against skin boomed off the walls of the second division commander's room. as the second division commander of the whitebeard pirates, ace was always involved in trouble, always wanting to help each of his friends so badly, it turned into a day full of stress. and all he needed was being inside of you. gummy walls squeezing his thick dick ever so tightly. but it always ended with you underneath his towering body. legs thrown over his shoulders as he pounded into you. one hand used to keep his weight mostly off your body, the other hand is placed around your jaw. left side, his fingers squeezed the skin of your cheek and on the right side, the thumb mirrored the same gesture. mouth squeezed together, it looked like you prepared so perfectly to take his hard dick between your lips again, and it almost made him cum with the next thrust. instead, ace leaned down, placing his lips against yours and holding you in place while increasing the pace and harshness.

꒰ঌ ໒꒱ His car isn’t yours ꒰ঌ ໒꒱
You met him in the summer.
What a bummer that timing killed the mood.
Even though it was a short-lived romance. It was best to not overthink the situation at that time. And it did feel easy at first…
But now looking back and reminiscing the moments you had with him. You couldn’t help but realize how can you find someone else if you didn't feel anything.
The new guy you were seeing is the complete opposite of Ace. He didn't have any freckles on his face. Nor did he have wavy, black hair that was soft to your fingertips.
Even the way he carried himself didn't help but make you pick out the differences between the two.
And to make things worse…the guy you were seeing had a black Jeep as well. But it was time to move on and try again with someone new. Someone different from Ace even if he had the same car as him.
Now here you are, waiting for the guy to come and pick you up, to only see some sort of figment of Ace.
It was messing with your head…seeing a black Jeep parked on your street.
Lying to yourself that he likely came to win you back again. But that car isn’t his.
So why do you wish it was his car? Even though you’re waiting for this “good guy” to come and pick you up at eight.
Was it the feeling you missed? When he came every Friday with his Jeep in your driveway. As he waits for his passenger princess to enter before he drives off to the highway.
Late-night rides with no destination as music surrounds you both.
But it isn't the same if it wasn't him in the driver's seat. And you hate that it hurts even though you were supposed to have a good night.
Now it's two am, and he just dropped you off. He even asked if he could come in. But as you told him…” Maybe not tonight…”
“Did I do anything wrong?”
Replying with a “Nothing’s wrong” but you couldn’t admit to him that everything is wrong. You didn't want to lead the guy any further if you couldn’t help but miss Ace still.

in a way or another, accidentally or not, they end up making fake proposals...

── .✦ Monkey D. Luffy:
The smell of grilled fish and sizzling meats fills the air as you and Luffy settle into your seats at a bustling restaurant by the shore. The place is packed, laughter and chatter surrounding you as waiters move between tables carrying plates stacked high with food.
Luffy is already bouncing in his chair, eyes darting between different dishes on the menu. He’s practically vibrating with excitement.
“Oi, look at this!” He shoves the menu in your face, pointing at a special section “‘Lovebird Feast’, free dessert for nearly married couples! That’s awesome! I want it!!”
You snort, pushing the menu back down “You’d fake a whole marriage just for free food?”
Luffy tilts his head like it’s the most obvious thing in the world “Duh! Free food’s free food! It's always the most delicious.”
Before you can protest, he’s already turning to the nearest waiter, waving them down enthusiastically, “Hey! We want the lovebird thingy!”
The waiter, a woman with a kind smile, gasps in excitement “Oh! How wonderful! Congratulations, you two!”
You open your mouth to correct her “Stop Luffy, we’re not—“ but Luffy is already jumping ahead.
“Shishishi! We aren’t yet but I’ll do it right now!”
Wait what?!
He suddenly slides out of his chair and drops onto one knee in front of you. The entire restaurant seems to hush. A few heads turn. Somewhere in the back, a musician starts playing soft romantic music.
Oh. Oh no.
Luffy grabs your hand, grinning up at you like he’s having the time of his life “Y/N! We’ve been on so many adventures together, and you always give me food, and you’re really fun to be around!” His grip tightens “So, do you want to marry me?”
The restaurant erupts. People cheer, clapping and whistling like this is the most romantic thing they’ve ever seen.
Your face burns.
This idiot! He didn’t even try to make it sound real!
Still, two can play at this game.
You bring a hand to your chest, gasping dramatically “Luffy, I—I don’t know what to say!” You blink rapidly, pretending to fight back tears “This is so sudden! But...” You clasp his hands in yours, shaking them for extra effect “Yes! A thousand times yes!”
The cheering gets louder. Someone throws flower petals over you. The musician in the back picks up the tempo.
Luffy beams, bouncing to his feet “AWESOME! Now where’s the food?”
The waiter, practically swooning, claps her hands together “Right away, sir! And don’t worry, your Lovebird Feast comes with our cutest personalised decorations, so give us a moment and we’ll get it to you”
Luffy turns to you, grinning ear to ear “See? Told ya it’d work!”
You pinch the bridge of your nose, trying so hard not to laugh “You’re impossible.”
A few minutes later, your table is overflowing with steaming plates of grilled seafood, buttery rolls, and a massive chocolate cake that says Congratulations, Lovebirds! in fancy frosting and two small drawings of your caricatures with hearts around them.
Luffy digs in immediately, stuffing his face with meat and laughing between bites “Man, this was such a good idea! Maybe we should do it again at another restaurant!”
You snort, shaking your head “What, you gonna propose to me at every place we eat now?”
He swallows a mouthful of food and grins “Maybe! You’d say yes every time, right?”
Your heart stumbles over itself for a second, but you quickly recover “Only if there’s free food involved, I guess.”
Luffy laughs, shoving another piece of cake into his mouth “Then it’s a deal!”
You roll your eyes, but you can’t stop smiling. Even if it was fake, and even if he only did it for the food…
You kinda wouldn’t mind hearing him say those words again.
Maybe for real, next time.
You’re now on your way back to the ship and just thinking about telling everyone what happened makes you laugh.
“What are you laughin at?” Luffy asks while bouncing his own belly.
“Sanji’s gonna hate us when we’ll tell him what we did to get free food…” you laugh more.
Luffy suddenly stops and you turn to see what’s going on with him. Only to see him trying to mimic Sanji’s face and expression, “Food isn’t a game!! And why did you use my y/n for your stupid plan?!?”.
You start laughing so hard that your stomach starts to hurt.
“Let’s make a bet Y/N… I bet he’s gonna say the exact same words I said just now” he says putting his hand in front of you.
“Mmh okay. I bet he’s going to say something like ‘How dare you propose to Y/N before me!!!’”
Luffy smiles and “That’s a good one. What do you want if ya win?”
Oh, now this is a hard question… What do you want?
Then an idea pop up in your mind.
“If I win I’ll be the captain for one day!” You say smiling proudly at your own mind, imagining already the things you could do and make Luffy do as his Captain.
“Shishishi, that’s a good one. Okay. But if I win… we’re gonna get a real ring your size for the next time!” His eyes close as his smile widens even more, “So? Deal?”
You heart start beating so fast that you’re bearing breathing.
Why?
Why does he want a ring?
And why is he planning on proposing again?
Then you snap out of your thoughts as you hear his laugh again. You look at his hand in front of you, waiting to be shaken.
“Deal…” you say as you now shake his hand.
Back to the Thousand Sunny the first thing Luffy does is looking for Sanji and tell him everything that happened, excluding the bet part of course.
He even mimicked the expressions the waiters and waitresses had while he was proposing.
Then, after a moment of shock and as you were anticipating, Sanji finally speaks “Mon Dieu , food isn’t a game, idiot! And why did you use my precious Y/N for your dumb game…”
“Oh, you lost Y/N. Now we’ll get a ring!!” Luffy smiles at you, ignoring the way Sanji stopped his desperate act just to look at him like he murdered someone.
You blush hard, not being able to even say a word.
“WHAT RING NOW? ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND? Y/N STOP LAUGHING, THE IDIOT IS BEING SERIOUS!!”
Sanji keeps trying to stop both you and Luffy, but honestly?
You wouldn’t mind getting proposed again, and who knows maybe with the ring it will feel real.
And you don’t mind it at all.
── .✦ Roronoa Zoro:
Zoro knew coming here was a mistake.
The restaurant is way too fancy for his taste, golden chandeliers, white tablecloths, expensive plates that look like they belong in a museum. The portions are tiny, the waiters have that I’m better than you attitude, and worst of all… Sanji recommended it.
You, however, are having a great time.
You sip your drink, smiling at the romantic ambiance, while Zoro sulks across from you, arms crossed, looking like he’d rather be anywhere else.
“This place is nice” you hum.
Zoro scoffs “Tch. Feels like a prison.”
You roll your eyes, about to retort, when his fork suddenly slips off the table. With a sigh, Zoro pushes his chair back and kneels down to grab it.
And that’s when it happens.
A loud gasp echoes through the restaurant.
The soft clinking of silverware stops. Conversations halt. The waiter carrying a tray of wine nearly drops it.
Zoro freezes, fork in hand.
“…What the hell?” he mutters.
You glance around and immediately see the problem. The entire restaurant is staring at him, some people are covering their mouths, others are tearing up, and the woman at the table next to you whispers excitedly to her date “omg look, he’s proposing!”
They think he’s proposing...
Your lips twitch. Oh, this is gold.
Zoro must realize it too, because he slowly looks up at you, processing the situation. The restaurant waits with bated breath. You see the exact moment he decides to roll with it.
Still kneeling, he sighs dramatically and reaches for your hand instead of his fork.
“Guess there’s no backing out now” he says flatly.
A chorus of awws sweeps through the restaurant. Someone sniffles.
You bite your lip, holding back laughter. If Zoro’s gonna pull this, you might as well make him suffer.
So, with your most dramatic expression, you gasp, bringing a hand to your chest “Zoro! Is this—” You choke up for effect “Is this really happening?”
Zoro glares at you, silently daring you to push further.
You do.
You blink rapidly, pretending to fight back tears “I—I never thought this day would come!” You squeeze his hand, voice trembling “Ever since I first saw you, I knew—” You pause, just to let the anticipation build “that you were the love of my life!”
A woman two tables down bursts into tears.
Zoro’s jaw tightens. His ears are definitely red now. But he won’t let you win so easily.
He lets out a long, exaggerated sigh, rubbing the back of his neck “Yeah… you know, it’s been real annoying, carrying this ring around for so long.”
Your eyes widen. Oh, he did NOT just—
The restaurant collectively gasps again. Even the chef peeks out from the kitchen.
Zoro still doesn’t have a ring, so the bastard reaches over, plucks a tiny onion ring off his plate, and slides it onto your finger.
“There,” he says, smirking “You happy now?”
You nearly choke on air.
The restaurant erupts. Cheers. Clapping. Someone throws flower petals. A waiter rushes forward with champagne.
You need to end this. Fast.
So, with all the enthusiasm of a dramatic soap opera heroine, you throw yourself into Zoro’s arms, hugging him tightly.
“YES! A MILLION TIMES YES!”
The place loses it. Some guy at the bar is sobbing. The waiter brings out a massive cake with Congratulations! written in fancy chocolate drizzle. The restaurant manager himself personally congratulates you.
You and Zoro finally lock eyes, both of you struggling to keep a straight face.
Still holding you, he leans down, voice low enough for only you to hear.
“You are so dead after this” he mutters.
You grin “Worth it.”
Zoro sighs, but there’s amusement in his expression. He still hasn’t let go of your waist, and for a second, the noise around you fades, the restaurant blurring into the background.
His thumb brushes against your hip.
“You really wanna sell this?” he murmurs.
You raise a brow “What are you—”
And then he kisses you.
It’s quick, barely more than a brush of lips, but it still shuts you up completely. Your breath catches as the warmth of him lingers, his grip firm and steady as if grounding himself.
Then he pulls back, smirking at your stunned expression “Figured we had to make it convincing.”
The crowd loses it again. Someone pops open a bottle of wine. The cheering is deafening.
Zoro slides back into his seat, reaching for his drink like nothing happened, while you just stare at him. Your face is burning, your heart racing.
Did he... did he really just...
“Oi,” he calls, snapping you out of your thoughts. He nods toward your plate “Eat. We scammed our way into this food, might as well enjoy it.”
You pick up your fork numbly, still processing.
Later that night, walking back to the Sunny, still slightly tipsy from the free champagne, Zoro shakes his head, chuckling.
“You’re the worst.”
“And yet, you still went along with it” you tease.
He gives you a sideways glance, smirking “Yeah, well… guess I’d propose to you eventually anyway.”
You trip.
Zoro catches you easily, steadying you with a firm grip, and when he helps you up, he doesn’t let go of your hand right away.
Your heart does something stupid.
“…You serious?” you murmur.
Zoro just smirks, squeezing your hand and giving you a quick peck on your lips before letting go.
“Guess you’ll have to wait and see, idiot.”
── .✦ Sanji:
Sunlight spills over the ocean, turning the water into shimmering gold as the sea breeze carries the scent of freshly baked pastries. The café you and Sanji are at is charming, small round tables with white tablecloths, elegant teacups, and a dessert display so tempting even you had to stop and admire it before sitting down.
Sanji, as always, is in his element. He leans back in his chair, cigarette between his fingers, looking completely at ease as he watches the waves roll in. He’s been extra flirty today, not that it’s anything new, but there’s something almost mischievous about his smile as he rests his chin on his hand, eyes locked on you.
“You look stunning today, mon amour.”
You snort, sipping your drink “You’ve said that three times already.”
“And I’ll say it a hundred more if it makes you smile” he replies smoothly, winking.
You roll your eyes but can’t hide the way your lips twitch upward. Hopeless flirt.
A waiter suddenly approaches your table, setting down a small menu “Would you two be interested in our Eternal Love Special? It comes with a complimentary dessert for newly engaged couples.”
Sanji’s brows lift, and immediately, you see the dangerous glint in his eyes.
You raise a hand, ready to shut this down “Oh, we’re not—”
Sanji reaches across the table and gently takes your hand in his, cutting you off completely.
“Ma chérie” he sighs, looking at you with the softest, most heartfelt expression you’ve ever seen “I’ve been waiting for the perfect moment to do this.”
Then he quickly turns to the waiter “Thank you, I took it as a sign to finally do what I was planning for months now”
Your brain short-circuits.
Wait. WAIT.
The waiter gasps. The couple at the next table stops mid-bite. A hush falls over the café as all eyes turn to the two of you.
You know Sanji. You know this is fake. But the way he’s looking at you, the warmth in his eyes, the way his thumb gently strokes the back of your hand, it feels real.
You swallow hard “Sanji—”
He stands up, gracefully stepping around the table before lowering himself onto one knee. The sunlight catches his golden hair, framing him like something out of a damn romance novel.
“From the moment I laid eyes on you, I knew you were special,” he says, voice smooth as silk “Your laughter is my favorite melody, your kindness is my greatest treasure, and every day with you is sweeter than the finest dessert.”
Someone sniffs. You don’t dare look away, afraid your own face might betray you.
Sanji reaches into his pocket, and for a horrifying second, you think he might actually have a ring... He pulls out a thin silver napkin ring from the table setting.
The café erupts into cheers. Someone claps. A woman dabs at her eyes with a handkerchief. The waiter looks about two seconds away from fainting.
Sanji takes your hand, slipping the napkin ring onto your finger with such tenderness that your heart physically aches.
“Tell me, my love,” he murmurs, his voice low and teasing, but with an edge of something more “Will you make me the happiest man in the world?”
You could end this now. Laugh it off, tell everyone it’s fake, and move on.
…But where’s the fun in that?
You inhale sharply, pressing a hand to your chest like you just can’t believe this is happening “Sanji, I—” You let your voice waver for dramatic effect “Of course! Yes!”
The café erupts. Cheers, applause, a waiter brings out a fancy chocolate cake with “Congratulations, Lovebirds!” written in delicate script.
Sanji presses a lingering kiss to the back of your hand before rising to his feet. He leans in, his breath warm against your ear.
“You play dirty, sweetheart” he murmurs.
You smirk up at him “Right back at you.”
The two of you sit back down, and while Sanji smoothly dives into his slice of cake, you… you can’t stop staring at him. Your heart is still racing. He’s been teasing you for so long, but this felt different.
And maybe the little gleam in his eyes says he knows it too.
Sanji casually picks up his fork, cutting into his cake as if he hasn’t just dropped a bombshell in the middle of the café. But there’s something different about the way he looks at you now, a quiet intensity behind his smirk.
You, on the other hand, are trying your best to keep your composure, but your heart is still fluttering uncontrollably. That was not part of the act, you think, biting your lip.
“So,” you begin, trying to regain some semblance of control over your thoughts, “you think I’ll just say ‘yes’ to a napkin ring?”
Sanji grins like a cat who’s just gotten the cream “Only if you’re truly as smitten with me as I am with you,” he teases, his voice dripping with charm “Was that not the most romantic proposal you’ve ever heard?”
You blink at him. That damn smirk. It’s hard to keep a straight face when he’s so pleased with himself.
“Romantic?” You arch an eyebrow, playing along “More like cheesy, Sanji. I mean, come on... napkin ring? Really?”
He chuckles, brushing a lock of hair behind his ear “It’s not the ring that matters, my dear. It’s the gesture.” He winks, leaning back in his chair, looking completely smug now that the moment has passed “Besides, I’m sure I’ll get you a real one soon enough. Once I find the perfect one.”
You blink at him again, still processing how he just seamlessly went from a joke proposal to something that feels strangely serious. Did he mean it?
Before you can dwell on it too much, the waiter returns with another plate, this time with a much larger piece of cake.
Sanji’s eyes light up “Ah, my favorite!” He takes the plate and picks up his fork, but before taking a bite, he looks at you again, that same intensity in his gaze.
“So,” he says, his voice suddenly more quiet, more sincere “did you like it? The proposal, I mean. I know it was a little… unorthodox.”
You’re caught off guard by the seriousness of his tone. He’s not teasing you now, not putting on that flirty act he does so well. His gaze is soft, like he’s searching for your answer, his expression almost vulnerable.
You bite your lip, fighting back the heat creeping up your neck “I...” You hesitate for a moment, unsure of what to say. You want to tease him, but there’s something there in his eyes “It was… unexpected” you finally say, your voice softening “But… sweet, I guess.”
Sanji’s lips curl into a grin again, but this time, it’s gentler, less playful and more genuine. “You know, you’re the only woman I’d do something this stupid for.” He leans closer, his voice dropping even lower, his breath warm against your ear “So, maybe... just maybe, you know... when the time is right, I’ll actually make it real.”
Your heart skips a beat, and your breath catches in your throat. You can’t tell if he’s joking or if this is one of his moments of sincerity. But then, the way his hand brushes against yours as he pulls back from the table feels like something more.
You stare at him, and he meets your gaze, his blue eyes twinkling with something you can’t quite place.
Before you can say anything, Sanji’s finger gently taps the napkin ring on your finger, the little silver band now feeling strangely significant “Just wait,” he says softly, “the real proposal will be a thousand times more romantic. And you’ll be the one telling me yes.”
You smile, feeling a warmth spread through your chest at the thought, knowing he’s both serious and playful, making you realize that, despite all the teasing and drama, he does mean it. And maybe, just maybe, you’re a little bit more excited about the idea than you want to admit.
“You better keep that promise, chef” you reply softly, your voice almost teasing, but with a genuine undercurrent that you both recognize.
Sanji leans back in his chair, clearly pleased with himself “I’ll hold you to it, mon amour. You’ll see. I’m a man of my word.”
And as the two of you continue eating, the quiet intimacy that lingers between you both speaks volumes. Even if the proposal was a joke, the feelings beneath it were anything but a joke.
── .✦ Portgas D. Ace:
The crew is in the midst of celebrating their latest victory, mugs of rum and plates of food scattered across the long table. Everyone is laughing and teasing each other, the air thick with camaraderie and joy. Ace is leaning against the railing, surrounded by his crew, his usual playful energy filling the space.
You’re off to the side, chatting quietly with Marco, enjoying the rare peace amidst the rowdy celebration.
“Looks like everyone’s having a good time” you say, smiling as you watch the crew’s antics.
“Yeah,” Marco replies, “they definitely need moments like this. It’s been a while since we’ve had a reason to really celebrate.” He glances at you, a soft smile on his lips.
Meanwhile, Ace is leaning over the table, listening to the crew, and you notice the mischievous glint in his eyes as he exchanges a few words with Thatch. The two of them laugh, and you can see Ace’s trademark grin forming.
Suddenly, someone’s voice rises above the others, slurring slightly from the alcohol “Hey, Ace!” he shouts, clearly a little tipsy “I dare you to do something! You’re always pulling pranks, it’s your turn!”
Ace smirks and looks over at them, his eyes flicking to the rest of the crew who eagerly start egging him on “What do you have in mind?” he asks, leaning in as if he’s genuinely curious.
The others grin at each other, clearly having had too many drinks “I dare you to propose to Y/N, right now!”
The crew erupts into laughter, clearly loving the idea. You’re still talking to Marco and don’t hear it, unaware of the dare.
You turn around, confused, just as Ace, with his usual confidence, strides over to you. His eyes lock onto yours, and his smirk widens, his posture already dramatic as he drops to one knee in front of you.
“Y/N,” he says, his voice loud and theatrical, “will you marry me?”
The entire crew gasps and then bursts into laughter. You freeze, completely caught off guard.
For a split second your heart skips a beat, but then you notice the glint in his eyes. He’s teasing. It’s the same playful look he always has when he’s messing with someone.
You swallow hard, trying to laugh it off “Ace, what are you—”
But before you can finish your sentence, Ace stands up quickly, his grin widening as he grabs your shoulder and laughs loudly “Haha, come on! I’m just kidding! You know me!”
The crew, still in fits of laughter, cheers him on, but your heart sinks. You feel embarrassed, and the sudden realization hits you hard. You knew it was just another one of his jokes but for some reason, this one stings more than the others. You’re left standing there, staring at him, feeling both foolish and hurt.
“Ace…” you start, your voice quiet and suddenly trembling with a mixture of anger and something deeper. You can’t put your finger on it, but it feels like your heart’s being pulled in two directions.
Ace notices the change in your tone and looks at you, the playful glint in his eyes dimming for a moment as if he’s unsure of what’s happening “Hey, come on. It was just for fun, right?” He chuckles, brushing it off, but there’s something in his voice now, a hint of unease that wasn’t there before.
You force a smile “Yeah, sure, just for fun” you say, but your voice cracks slightly. You quickly turn away from him, walking off toward the edge of the ship, away from the crew and the laughter. You don’t want to face anyone right now, not Ace, not anyone.
Ace calls after you, but you don’t look back. You can feel his gaze on your back, but you don’t know if you’re ready to face the playful tone that always comes with his jokes. You’re hurt, and you can’t tell if it’s because you really thought he was serious for a moment or because it felt like he didn’t take your feelings into account.
The sound of the crew’s laughter is still behind you, but it feels distant now. You rest your hands on the cold metal of the ship’s railing, staring out at the dark, endless sea, trying to breathe through the hurt.
“Hey,” Ace’s voice suddenly cuts through the night air. You hadn’t realized he was following you. His playful tone gone, replaced by something softer, maybe even regretful “I’m sorry if I upset you. I didn’t mean to.”
You shake your head, not turning to face him “It’s fine, Ace. Just... just go back to the crew. I don’t want to make a scene.”
There’s a long silence, and you can feel him standing behind you, still close, but not daring to push further. You can hear the deep sigh he lets out.
“You know I mess around a lot, right?” Ace says quietly, after a beat “But that doesn’t mean I don’t care about you.”
Ace seems to sense your hesitation, and he steps a little closer.
“I was just having fun with the guys,” he continues, his voice low, almost apologetic now “I didn’t think it would upset you. I’m sorry. If you want to talk about it… I’m here.”
You take a deep breath, trying to push back the frustration that’s built up in you. You hate how vulnerable you feel, too exposed. But you can’t let him see that, not right now.
“I just need some space” you reply quietly.
There’s another long pause before you hear him step back and you finally allow yourself to breathe a little easier. Ace doesn’t push you any further. You hear his footsteps retreat, but you know he’s still watching you, waiting, just in case you need him.
You know Ace didn’t mean to hurt you. You know he’s always been like this reckless, playful, always laughing things off. But tonight, it felt different.
Why did it bother me so much?
You hear footsteps behind you again, slower this time, more hesitant. You sigh “Ace, I said I needed some space—”
“It’s not Ace.”
You turn and find Marco standing there, arms crossed.
“You okay?” he asks, but his sharp eyes tell you he already knows the answer.
You manage a small, tired smile “Do I look okay?”
Marco huffs a soft laugh “Not really.” He steps beside you, leaning against the railing. For a moment, the two of you just stand there in silence.
Finally, he speaks again “Ace is an idiot.”
You let out a surprised laugh, though it’s weaker than usual “Yeah, tell me something I don’t know.”
Marco tilts his head slightly, watching you “But he’s not heartless” he continues “He cares about you more than he probably realizes. And right now, he’s sitting over there, looking like a kicked puppy because he knows he messed up.”
Your fingers tighten on the railing “I know he didn’t mean to hurt me, Marco. But…” You hesitate, feeling vulnerable “I guess it just stung more than I expected. He laughed it off like it was nothing.”
Marco hums in understanding “Because to him, it was just a joke. But to you… it wasn’t.”
You don’t reply, but you know he’s right. Even if you hadn’t admitted it to yourself before, a small part of you had wanted it to be real.
Marco pushes off the railing and pats your shoulder lightly “You don’t have to talk to him yet if you don’t want to. But if you do…” He glances toward the other side of the ship, where Ace is sitting on a barrel, staring down at his drink, barely touching it. His usual carefree energy is gone “He’s waiting.”
You hesitate. A part of you still wants to be mad. But another part, the part that cares too much, wants to hear what more he has to say.
With a deep breath, you push off the railing and make your way toward him.
Ace notices you immediately, his head snapping up, eyes widening slightly. He doesn’t grin this time, doesn’t make a joke. He just watches you cautiously, like he’s bracing himself.
You stop a few steps away “Hey.”
Ace exhales, setting his drink down “Hey...” He looks uncertain, which is rare for him “Can I...” He hesitates “Can I talk to you?”
You nod and sit down on the crate across from him. He looks relieved but still fidgety, rubbing the back of his neck like he’s trying to figure out what to say.
After a long pause, he finally speaks “I didn’t think, okay?” His voice is quieter than usual, missing its usual cocky edge “I didn’t think about how it would feel for you. I was just messing around with the crew, and when they dared me, I just… went with it. I didn’t mean for it to be a joke at your expense.”
You cross your arms “Then why did you laugh it off like that?”
Ace winces slightly “Because… I panicked.”
That catches you off guard “Panicked?”
He lets out a slow breath and runs a hand through his messy black hair “Yeah. Because for a second, when I was kneeling there, looking at you, it didn’t feel like a joke anymore” He pauses, his voice dropping lower “And that scared the hell out of me.”
He looks at your confused face, and for once, there’s no teasing in his eyes. Just raw honesty.
“I mean…” He rubs his face, frustrated with himself “I mean that maybe it wasn’t just a joke to me, either.”
The world seems to tilt slightly. Your breath catches, and you stare at him, trying to process his words.
Ace sighs, leaning forward, resting his forearms on his knees “I don’t know how to say this the right way. I’ve never been good at this kind of thing. But you—” He exhales sharply “You matter to me. More than I probably let on. And when I saw how upset you were, I realized that I really, really don’t want to lose you.”
You swallow thickly, your emotions all tangled up “Ace…”
He leans back, giving you a small, hesitant smile “I won’t joke about something like that again. I swear. But…” He rubs the back of his neck “If—if I ever did propose… I’d want it to be real.”
For a long moment, you don’t speak. You’re still mad. Still hurt. But beneath all of that, there’s a warmth spreading through your chest, something dangerously close to hope.
Finally, you shake your head and stand up. Ace tenses, as if expecting you to walk away again.
Instead, you go closer. And before you can overthink it, you grab the front of his shirt and tug him down into a kiss.
Ace freezes for a second, caught completely off guard. But then he melts into it, his hands finding your waist, holding you like he’s afraid you’ll slip away. The kiss is slow, uncertain at first, but then it deepens, warm, real, full of everything you haven’t been able to put into words.
When you finally pull away, Ace blinks at you, completely dazed “...Whoa.”
You smirk, your heart still racing “No jokes this time?”
He grins, breathless “No jokes.”
You roll your eyes but smile anyway “Good.”
Ace watches you for a moment, then his grin softens into something more genuine “So… does this mean you forgive me?”
You pretend to think about it “Hmm. I dunno. Maybe you should actually try proposing for real and see how I feel.”
His eyes widen, and you laugh at the way he suddenly looks flustered. But the warmth in his expression tells you that maybe, just maybe, that day isn’t as far off as you once thought.
── .✦ Trafalgar D. Law:
The ballroom is suffocating in its elegance, gold chandeliers, velvet curtains, and nobles dressed in the finest silks. Conversations flow with laughter, political gossip, and expensive wine. You navigate the crowd effortlessly, your arm looped around Law’s as the two of you blend in among the guests.
This is just another mission.
Your goal this time is to gather intel on the underground auction happening later tonight. And to do so, you have to pretend to be a wealthy couple and gain access to informations. Tonight you are Law’s fiancée.
“You’re tense” Law murmurs beside you, barely moving his lips.
You glare up at him, keeping a pleasant smile for the guests “Maybe because I’m still processing how I went from ‘crewmate’ to ‘fake fiancée.’”
He hums “Would you rather be my wife?”
You elbow him discreetly, and he chuckles under his breath.
“Ah, you're Torao, right?” a nobleman approaches with a warm smile and glass in hand, but Law suddently snorts at the name already planning on getting revenge to however was supposed to arrange a fake name for him... you try your best to not laugh “And who is this stunning young woman?”
Before you can even open your mouth, Law speaks smoothly.
“My fiancée”
You freeze for just a fraction of a second, but you recover quickly, forcing a demure smile as the nobleman’s eyes widen in delight.
“Oh, my! I had no idea you were engaged! Congratulations!”
More nobles turn their attention toward you both, excited murmurs rippling through the crowd. You barely resist the urge to shoot Law a look, because you figured he’d introduce you as a partner or companion, but fiancée? That just complicate things.
You manage to slip away after a few more introdutions, excusing yourself to get a drink and some air. Meanwhile, Law stays behind, sipping his wine in silence.
That’s when an older noblewoman leans in conspiratorially.
“You know,” she hums, swirling her drink, “I couldn’t help but notice something peculiar.”
Law barely reacts “Oh?”
She grins “She’s not wearing a ring.”
His fingers tighten subtly around his glass.
Another noble nods “Yes, rather unusual for an engagement, don’t you think?”
A dozen responses flash through Law’s mind, he could say something like it’s being resized, or that you don’t like wearing jewelry. But instead, for reasons even he doesn’t fully understand, the words that come out are, “I have a ring.”
The noblewoman’s eyes sparkle “Oh? Then why isn’t she wearing it?”
Law exhales through his nose “I was planning to propose soon.”
The group of nobles collectively gasps.
“Tonight?!”
Law immediately regrets his words.
“Oh, how romantic!” one woman gushes “You must do it here!”
Law resists the urge to teleport himself out of this conversation, but when he turns, he sees you making your way back, completely oblivious to the trap he just walked into. And something shifts inside him, because in his pocket, there is a ring. Your exact size.
He never planned to use it. He doesn’t even fully understand why he bought it in the first place. Maybe it was impulse, or maybe it was something deeper, something he refuses to acknowledge.
But now he stands. The room falls silent.
You slow your steps, eyes flicking to him in confusion “What...”
And then he kneels.
Your heart stops.
The nobles erupt into cheers.
Law looks up at you as he pulls out the ring.
Your breath catches.
Why is he doing this? Why does he have that?
Law exhales, his voice quieter now, just for you.
“y/n,” he says, his fingers brushing against yours, “marry me.”
There’s no teasing in his tone. No playfulness. Just Law, holding your hand, holding a ring he never intended to actually reveal, and looking at you like he means every single word.
The entire ballroom is silent, every noble watching with excitement. Somewhere in the distance, someone murmurs about how romantic this is, but all you can hear is the rushing in your ears, the unsteady rhythm of your breathing... because Law is holding a ring. Your exact size. And for he looks like he actually means it.
Your mouth opens, but no words come out.
Law exhales softly, gaze unreadable. His fingers ghost over yours as he holds the ring between them, and you swear you feel a slight tremor.
“Uhm... say yes” he murmurs, voice too low for anyone else to hear.
Your breath catches “What?”
His fingers tighten around your hand, almost imperceptibly “Say yes...” he repeats, softer this time.
You swallow hard. You know this is a performance. Something must have happened while you weren't there and he's doing all this to keep up the cover and complete the mission. But something in the way he’s looking at you, so calm, so sure, makes your throat tighten.
You force yourself to move, to push away the whirlwind of emotions threatening to consume you.
“…Yes.”
The second the word leaves your lips, the room erupts. Cheers, applause, laughters, as the nobles celebrate.
Law stands smoothly, still holding your hand, and in one fluid motion, he slides the ring onto your finger.
A perfect fit.
Your chest tightens.
Why do you have this? you want to ask. Why do you have my size? Why does this feel real?
But instead, you let him pull you closer, his fingers resting lightly against your waist as someone shouts “The kiss! You have to seal it with a kiss!”
Your stomach flips violently. You glance up at Law, expecting him to show hesitation, annoyance... anything.
But his expression remains unreadable.
He exhales quietly, as if resigning himself to what comes next. Then, in one smooth movement, he cups your face, his calloused fingers brushing against your jaw.
His lips press against yours as the world blurs.
It’s soft at first, gentle, the perfect display for an adoring fiancé. But then his fingers slide into your hair, pulling you a fraction closer, and something shifts.
The air between you crackles, the warmth of his body pressing into yours. Your fingers clutch at his suit, unsure whether to push him away or pull him closer.
It doesn’t feel fake, not even for a second, and that breaks you.
When he finally pulls away, the crowd is ecstatic, clapping and cheering. You barely register them.
Law leans in, his forehead nearly brushing yours.
“You okay?” he murmurs, voice just for you.
You’re not. Not even close. But you have to force a smirk, masking the confusion, the longing, the ache in your chest.
“You’re a better actor than I thought” you whisper, trying to sound teasing, but it comes out unsteady.
His lips twitch slightly in almost a smirk.
And then, just as he turns to lead you away, his voice drops to a whisper.
“Am I acting?”
Your breath catches.
But before you can even process his words, he’s already pulling you through the crowd, his fingers brushing against yours.
“Come on,” he says “We still have a mission to finish.”
And just like that, the moment is gone.
The ring on your finger feels heavier than it should, and now you don’t know if you’ll ever be able to take it off.
── .✦ Shanks:
The Red-Haired Pirates are celebrating their recent success, the air filled with the sounds of laughter, clinking mugs, and music. You and Shanks are at the center of it all, the crew’s favorite couple. You’ve been together for a while now, everyone around you knows how close you two are. The bond you share is evident, whether you’re laughing together, sharing a drink, or pulling off your signature “fake proposal” routine at taverns to get free food.
Today was no different. You’d pulled off yet another hilarious fake proposal at a local tavern with Shanks dramatically getting down on one knee and you playing the blushing fiancée, and everyone else had completely fallen for it. The whole crew had watched from the sidelines, laughing at the reaction of other people around. You and Shanks had left the tavern with free drinks and a standing ovation, and now you’re back on the ship, basking in the afterglow of your latest successful scam.
The crew is still laughing, recalling the events from earlier.
“That was too good,” Yasopp says, slapping his knee as he chuckles “I swear, you two are getting better at this with every try.”
“Yeah, honestly, I almost thought it was real” Benn Beckman adds, leaning back in his chair.
You roll your eyes, trying to hide your smile “You guys are terrible” you tease, nudging Shanks playfully.
Shanks simply grins casually leaning against the railing of the ship as the crew continues to tease the two of you about your newer “engagement”. His eyes are full of mischief, the same spark you’ve always loved. But there’s something different tonight, they seem a little more serious, almost like he’s thinking about something far beyond the joke.
“You know...” Shanks starts, his voice quieter than usual, drawing your attention. The rest of the crew falls into a hushed silence, sensing something is about to shift “Maybe one day, we should do it for real.”
You blink, staring at him “What?” you ask, not sure if he’s still joking or if something else is going on.
Shanks smirks, but there’s a certain vulnerability in his gaze now that makes your heart skip a beat “I mean it. What would you say if I asked you for real one day? Like, if I asked you to marry me, what would you say?”
For a moment, everything around you goes still. The sounds of the crew’s laughter fade, and it’s just you and Shanks, standing there. You can see the sincerity in his eyes, something deeper than the usual playful teasing.
You feel a flutter in your chest as you meet his gaze, your breath catching in your throat. It’s clear he’s not messing around anymore.
“You really want to know?” you ask softly, your voice a little unsteady.
Shanks doesn’t break eye contact, his expression soft but steady “Yeah, I do.”
Your heart pounds in your chest. For a heartbeat, everything feels heavier... your emotions swirling as you take in the meaning behind his words. Then you smile, a warm, genuine smile. You take a deep breath, knowing what this means “Then ask me, and find out.”
Shanks’ lips curl into a gentle, tender smile, and for a moment, you think maybe he’s going to kiss you right then and there. But instead, he leans in slightly, lowering his voice.
“I’ll make you notice right away when it’s for real,” he says, his words full of affection “You’ll be so surprised when I’ll do it, you won’t even know what hit you.”
You laugh softly, a mix of emotions rushing through you “I can’t wait...” you say, your voice light but with a hint of excitement.
Without another word, Shanks pulls you closer, his arms wrapping around you as he presses his lips against yours in a slow, lingering kiss. You melt into it, the taste of his lips familiar and comforting, and for a moment, it feels like the rest of the world fades away.
The crew is watching you two, stunned into silence at first, but then the cheers start.
“Get a room!” Lucky Roux shouts with a laugh, and the rest of the crew joins in, clapping.
You pull back slightly, your forehead resting against Shanks’ as you both smile at the crew’s reaction. He gives you a playful wink, and you can’t help but chuckle.
“I’ll take that as a yes” he says softly, his grin full of mischief again.
“Yeah,” you reply with a smile, still feeling the warmth of his kiss on your lips “I kinda spoilered you my answer.”
The crew continues to laugh and tease, but you and Shanks know this moment is real. It might not have been an official proposal yet, but you both understand that when the time is right, he’ll ask, and you’ll say yes. For now, though, you’ll just enjoy this moment with him, the love between you two shining brighter than anything else.
And as the crew celebrates, you and Shanks share another kiss, a promise of what’s to come.
Shanks barely pulls away from your lips before a familiar glint of mischief sparks in his eyes. The crew is still laughing and whistling, throwing jabs about how disgustingly in love the two of you are, and you can practically see the gears turning in his head.
You know that look.
Before you can react, Shanks suddenly drops to one knee again, right there on the deck, holding out his empty hand like he’s presenting a ring.
“Alright, alright! Since the moment is so perfect... Y/N, will you make me the happiest pirate alive and marry me? For real this time?” His voice is exaggerated, his expression overly dramatic as he bats his lashes up at you.
The crew erupts, laughing and cheering like this is the best show they’ve ever seen. Some of them start slamming their mugs, chanting, “SAY YES! SAY YES!” Lucky Roux even tosses a handful of peanuts in the air like they’re flower petals.
Shanks is still kneeling, hand outstretched “Well?” he asks, tilting his head with a teasing grin “Are you gonna break my heart in front of my beloved crew, Y/N?”
You let out a dramatic sigh and step closer, leaning down just enough to flick his forehead.
The exaggerated thunk makes the crew howl with laughter.
Shanks rocks back like you’ve physically struck him, clutching his chest as if mortally wounded “Rejected… just like that?” he gasps, looking up at you with the most pathetic pout you’ve ever seen “You didn’t even consider it? Not even for a second?”
You shake your head, grinning “Oh, shut up. If I say yes to every proposal of yours, we’d be married a hundred times over by now. I can’t accept two in just one day.”
The crew explodes into laughter again, slamming their mugs together, completely losing it over the ridiculousness of it all.
“I think this is the first time Shanks has ever been turned down,” Yasopp says, wiping tears from his eyes “Somebody write this down, it’s history in the making!”
Shanks, still on one knee, sighs dramatically before looking up at you with a lopsided grin “Guess I’ll just have to try again some other day”
There’s something in the way he says it, something in the way his gaze lingers on yours, that makes your chest tighten.
And then, without warning, he rises to his feet and takes your hand.
You raise an eyebrow, confused, but he just smiles as he pulls you in closer “What are you—?”
“Dancing” he answers simply.
There’s no music playing, just the sound of the crew’s laughter and the gentle crash of the waves against the ship. But that doesn’t stop him.
Shanks starts to sway, leading you effortlessly into a slow dance, like the two of you are at some grand ballroom instead of the deck of a pirate ship, surrounded by a bunch of rowdy, drunken idiots.
The crew quiets slightly, watching in amusement. But then you hear Yasopp groan “Oh, come on. Really?”
“Oi, we’re in the middle of a celebration, not a honeymoon!” someone else calls out.
“Get a room, this time for real!” Lucky Roux laughs.
But you barely hear them.
Because you’re looking at Shanks, and he’s looking at you.
And suddenly, it doesn’t matter that there’s no music, or that your idiot pirate family is teasing you both in the background. It doesn’t matter that this started as a joke, or that moments ago, he was on one knee in the most ridiculous, over-the-top fake proposal.
Because right now, the way he’s holding you, one hand in yours, the other resting on your waist, feels so natural. So right.
You let yourself melt into him, following his lead as the two of you continue to sway in the middle of the chaos.
“You’re ridiculous” you murmur, but your voice is soft, affectionate.
Shanks smirks “And yet, you’re still here.”
You let out a quiet laugh, shaking your head “Yeah,” you whisper “I am.”
His grip on you tightens just slightly, and his expression softens “Perfect.”
Then, grinning, Shanks playfully lowers you backward while holding you, like in a dramatic dance move. Catching you completely off guard. You gasp, clutching at his coat, and the crew loses their minds.
“ALRIGHT, THAT’S ENOUGH!” Yasopp groans “I CAN’T TAKE THIS ANYMORE! If you're not going into a room then I am!”
The crew bursts into laughter, some covering their eyes, others raising their drinks in amusement.
Shanks, still grinning like a fool, pulls you back up and presses a quick kiss to your forehead.
“You really are the love of my life, y’know that?” he murmurs.
Your heart skips a beat.
You smile, reaching up to brush a few strands of red hair away from his face “Yeah,” you whisper “I know.”
And as the crew continues their antics around you, you realize that this is the best moment of your life.

ACE
Ever since you and Ace became a couple, Ace noticed that he slept amazing when you were beside him. The nights you had to sleep apart however, brought restlessness, sometimes strange dreams that left him feeling as though he hadn’t slept at all, but it was worse when he had to suffer through nightmares. Tonight, he reluctantly went to bed while you had to stay in the infirmary while you recovered from a sickness. It was just a precaution to avoid you infecting the others but Ace needed more convincing than the others. He didn’t care if he got sick and would have risked it but you managed to talk him around, promising it would be just one night and it would make you feel better to know he was safe and healthy. Reluctantly he climbed into the bed and pouted at your empty side until his eyes grew heavy and sleep claimed him.
“Ace how do I look?” You asked him in his dream and he broke out into an overwhelmed smile, taking in your breathtaking appearance. You were all but glowing, dressed for a wedding; your wedding. Slowly he reached out to cup your face before taking your hand to playfully twirl you and take in your outfit with growing appreciation. Unable to hold back, he pulled you into a tight hug. “You look amazing, you always do.” He whispered, pulling back to see your eyes light with joy as you you looked down at your outfit, smoothing the fabric into place.
“I’m glad. I hope Marco thinks so too.” You beamed up at him, unaware of Ace’s expression dropping into one of confused dread. Marco? What did Marco have to do with it all? He quickly snapped out of his thoughts when you quickly took his hands into yours and leaned in with an excited smile. “Ace, will you walk me down the aisle? It’d mean so much to me!”
“B-but…aren’t you going to marry me?” Ace asked with a frown, his heart sinking when you tilted your head in confusion before laughing.
“Ace, don’t be silly!” You grinned, giving him a playful shove. “You know I’m marrying Marco, come on I can’t be late!” Before he could react, you grabbed his wrist and hurried down a corridor that seemed unending. Finally the corridor shifted to reveal a filled room, your hand was no longer in his and you stood with Marco at the altar.
His stomach lurched and Ace let out a yelp as he landed on the floor of his room, tangled in the bedsheet and head swimming as he tried to let his brain catch up with the fact he was awake and what he’d just witnessed was a horrible dream. Scrambling to his feet, Ace bolted out of the room and hurried to the infirmary, hearing the sound of you coughing when he neared the door. Quietly he entered and walked quietly to your bedside. “Ace? You should be in bed.” You told him weakly.
“No, I should never have let you talk me into leaving you.” Ace said as he climbed into the bed with you, pulling you close to let you rest against him. His fingers lightly moved over your back, soothing your aching body while also finding your presence soothing him from the nightmare he’d had. “We’re a team right? Through thick and thin…sickness and in health.”
“Aren’t those wedding vows?”
“Are they?” Ace asked innocently but you could hear his heart pick up speed slightly. “Must have been a coincidence…”
SHANKS
Before meeting you, Shanks never saw himself as the settling down type. He was more than content to live his days exploring and enjoying himself with a lover in every island should the mood take him. Then you came along and changed his life in every wonderful way imaginable. You were the adventure he’d been missing and hadn’t even known he was searching for. He couldn’t imagine ever being apart from you. You might have fallen for his charm and flirtatious smile first but he fell for your warmth and beautiful soul so much harder.
So when he dreamt of himself standing at the front of an altar, he knew you would be the only other possible person his subconscious would conjure to join him. Shanks felt excitement gather in his chest and then in a blink he saw Beckman appear beside him. “This is a big thing, Captain. You sure you can go through with this?” His right-hand man asked with a grin before continuing. “I mean you’ve never preformed a wedding ceremony before, will you be able to handle it?”
Shanks felt his excitement fizzle out and it was quickly replaced with confusion and apprehension. Yes, as Captain he would be the one to marry members of his crew but he couldn’t possibly be the one to get married and preform the ceremony at the same time. It didn’t make sense and as much as he wanted to know, he dreaded what the explanation would be because he already knew it wasn’t going to be something he’d like. “Benn! Shanks!”
Both heads turned and Shanks’ chest felt like it was going to explode with adoration and pride as he saw you hurry to them. He waited for your hands to reach for him but instead you merely smiled at him and hurried to Beckman’s side, eagerly letting his arms wrap around you and hold you close. “Sorry I’m late but we can start now.” You beamed, your gaze settling on Shanks’ face expectantly. “Whenever you’re ready Captain, I can’t wait to marry this man!”
With a jolt and gasp, Shanks woke to the calm, dark silence using the sound of the gentle waves hitting the side of the Red Force to help calm his breathing. He glanced to down to see you curled up on your side, your back against him and your arms loosely but just as possessively wrapped around his arm. Shanks let out a small huff as he silently laughed at his stupid mind for conjuring such a ridiculous scenario. Rolling onto his side, Shanks pressed a kiss against your temple, stilling when you began to shift. You turned as you began to wake, curling into his chest and let out a sleepy smile when his now freed arm tightened around you, keeping you close. “Everything okay?” You mumbled.
“Never better.” Shanks affirmed with a smile, pressing another kiss against your cheek. As much as he knew it was a ridiculous dream and that things between you both were beyond amazing, Shanks considered that maybe he was worried in some part that someone may take you from him someday. “Promise me you won’t marry Beck, okay?”
“Why, you wanna marry him?” Even half-asleep you were still able to make a joke and help your lover relax.
“The only one I want to be committed to is you.”
“Good, because I’m not going anywhere.”
“Promise?”
“I do.”
MIHAWK
“Clown, what is the meaning for all of this…fanfare?” Mihawk asked, looking around the extensibly decorated circus tent. Brightly coloured ribbons adorned the ceiling, flowers were displayed in grand, flashy, and quite simply ostentatious arrangements that just screamed ‘Buggy the Clown.’ None of it was to Mihawk’s taste but it was clear the clown was up to something. The figurehead of Cross Guild spun around, dressing in a bright suit and his painted smile, spread wide in triumph.
“Mihawk! So glad you’ve arrived. We were worried you were going to miss the festivities. They’ll be writing about this in the papers for weeks.” Buggy declared with a laugh, allowing his hands to detach from his arms to gesture widely as confetti seemed to rain down from nowhere. Mihawk’s eye twitched at the useless theatrics, he’d asked a question and wanted an actual answer. Thankfully he didn’t need to repeat himself because Buggy cleared his throat and stepped to the side to show the altar Mihawk could have sworn wasn’t there before. “It’s my wedding obviously.”
A wedding? This was the first Mihawk heard about it. As far as he knew, Buggy hadn’t had a serious relationship in a long time, certainly not serious enough to warrant a wedding. So who was the clown’s secret betrothed? The answer came instantly when he heard footsteps behind him. Mihawk turned and did a double take when he saw it was you. The look in your eyes was filled with so much excitement and joy they practically sparkled. He began to reach out for you but you slipped past him and continued with conviction until you were proudly beside Buggy. Disbelief gripped Mihawk at the scene in front of him. No, this was impossible. Letting his instincts take hold, he reached for Yoru and charged for Buggy.
“Mihawk, no!” You pleaded, stepping in front and stopping his attack mid-swing with just your voice. “Please it’s my wedding day. Promise there’ll be no fighting. For me okay?” Mihawk snapped awake immediately and let out a sigh of relief to see he was in his own quarters and not a garish decoration in sight. Despite having slept, the nightmare he was forced to endure had left him exhausted. Part of him was reluctant to try and fall back to sleep out of worry of what other hellish thoughts his mind would conjure for him.
With a sigh he reached out your side of the bed and only now he noticed it was empty. Yet it was still warm, you’d only just risen but it was still late at night. Just as he was about to rise and search for you, the door opened and you silently crept in, pausing to see Mihawk was awake and watching you. Now seeing you had no need to be stealthy you smiled and walked back towards the bed. “I was getting a drink of water. Did I wake you?”
“No, love.” Mihawk answered, holding out his arms to pull you close against him, his eyes closing when your fingers slipped into his hair. “Had an awful dream you married the clown and wouldn’t let me cut him to pieces for it.”
“How strange…” You mused with a yawn. “Although I’m not opposed to the idea, truth be told.”
“Marrying the clown?” Mihawk leaned back to look at you, unable to hide his disgust as the images from his dream came flooding back.
“No!” You laughed pressing a kiss against his cheek. “Marrying you. Although people consider us married anyway.” Mihawk chuckled, it was true. Mihawk supposed now that it had been properly brought up, it was worth considering to finally propose. His golden eyes observed you carefully and saw your eyes were growing heavy. That was a conversation best saved for the morning.
KID
“You’ve got to be fucking kidding me!” Kid shouted as he looked at you standing hand in hand with none other than Strawhat Luffy, both of you dressed very clearly for a wedding. At his outburst you both turned to look at him in shared confusion. “Him? You’re seriously going to marry him! He’s a moron!”
“Only sometimes.” You shrugged before smiling dreamily at the Strawhat pirate. “He’s also super strong, and funny, and he’s King of the Pirates now so-”
“What? No he’s not!” Kid argued angrily trying to charge forward but every step he took kept him firmly on the same spot. This wasn’t real, this couldn’t be happening. You were with him! You had no interest in the pipsqueak Captain of the Strawhats like that. You weren’t as shallow to only be with something because of their title, you weren’t like that. You saw the good in people, you’d seen the good in him and you loved him. Of that much Kid was certain of. This just had to be some awful dream. He just needed to wake up and everything would be okay.
“Kid!” Kid jolted upright with a yell meeting your bewildered gaze. “What is it? You were calling my name over and over. Are you okay?” You hesitated from touching him as out of fear he was still clinging to the nightmare he was waking from, not wanting to overwhelm him but you had to speak to him, to reassure him your were here. You watched as Kid steadied his breathing and reached out towards you with his good arm. Quickly you took his hand into both of yours and guided his fingers to rest against your collarbone so he could feel your steady heartbeat under your skin and feel the rise and fall of your chest, hoping he would copy the steadied breaths and calm. “I’m here, we’re safe in our room. What do you need?”
“Kill Strawhat.” Kid ground out tightly as he calmed, his fingers flexing around yours just a little tighter to ground him in the reality. Finally he let out a long, heavy sigh and shook his head. “Nah, he’s not worth my time. Just need you babe.” You let out a sigh of your own, soft and relieved to hear him speak and inched closer, smiling when his hand moved up to curl behind your neck and thread into your hair, pulling you in for a soft and gentle kiss. Parting he lay his forehead against yours, finding his ability to be vulnerable around you to be proof of the love you both shared.
“Promise me, even if that little runt becomes King of the Pirates and asks you to marry him, you’ll say no.”
“Kid, you’re the only one I’ve ever wanted.” You reassured him softly. “Don’t care about titles or any of that stuff but if you want to give me a ring and let me call you husband if it makes you feel better we can do that?”
“Did you just half-ass a proposal to me?” Kid asked with a grin, all worries from his dream vanishing instantly.
“Not at all, Captain. Was just letting you know you can half-ass propose to me if you want.” With a laugh and a playful shove, Kid considered taking you up on the offer but now he had to wait for a while so that when he did propose, it would seem like it was all his idea.
KATAKURI
Another tea-party, another celebration filled with people and a feast of the finest food imaginable. Katakuri stood firmly in place, watching all of the guests and his family occupy the space, prepared for anything to happen. Like everything else, nothing would escape his sight and nothing would ruin his mother’s carefully planned party, he always made sure of that. Across the large garden he caught sight of the extravagant mountain-sized wedding cake and now he felt confused, he hadn’t known this was a wedding. Curiously he looked around, searching for his siblings to spot who would be the bride or groom. But then that thought went out of his head when he saw you of all people standing at the altar at the top of the cake.
His heart all but skipped when he saw you but that led him to become even more confused. If you were up there and waiting to get married, why was he all the way down here and standing watch? He was madly in love with you and you loved him, so why were you both apart? Then you turned to face someone who was on top of the cake with you. Katakuri watched in dismay to see his brother Perospero take your hand in his and grin at you. Behind his thick layers of his scarf wound around the lower half of his face, Katakuri’s lips curled in a tight snarl and he gripped his arms tightly to control the mounting anger. Why was this happening?
From behind him he heard his mother’s loud laughter, delighted by the ceremony taking place on the cake she couldn’t wait to devour. Katakuri lowered his gaze and took a deep breath, of course. Big Mom did enjoy arranging marriages for her children and this was clearly one of her arrangements but he couldn’t help but feel the pain of how you’d been taken from him and he couldn’t do anything to intervene. Worse still, you didn’t even look like you wanted him to be in Prosperous place.
Katakuri woke instantly, his eyes snapping open and his mind clearing just as fast. As though sensing the change in his body, you stirred from your comfortable place on his chest. As you rubbed the sleep from your eyes and yawned, Katakuri’s hand fell over your back, making sure to keep you comfortable knowing that your mind was still hazy and body was still heavy as it clung to the need for sleep. If he reassured you all was well quickly, you’d fall back into your own pleasant dreams in no time. “Kata…what’s the matter?” You mumbled, managing to crack your eyes open slightly to look at him.
“Just a bad dream. I’m fine now.” Katakuri informed you simply, never needing to lie to you.
“Hm, what kind of dream?” You asked, absently running your fingers over his chest as you listened to his steady heartbeat that always lulled you to sleep.
“Dreamt mother had arranged for you to marry Perospero.” He explained, rubbing your back in response to your soothing touches. “I could only stand by and watch.”
“Sorry you had to dream such a thing but don’t worry that won’t happen.”
“If mother demanded it, I couldn’t fight against her wishes.” Katakuri mumbled, feeling his own mind grow hazy once more as your radiating warmth was coaxing him to sleep. He blinked when you abruptly pushed yourself up to frown at him in the dark. “What?”
“Katakuri…we’re already married.” You reminded him, lifting your hand to show the band of metal on your finger glinting in the moonlight. With a tired, amused huff at your husbands momentary lapse in memory you flopped back down onto your husband’s chest.

Thanking and kissing them on the cheek HCS
Characters: Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, Ace
Masterlist
Luffy

He is very oblivious to it, he just laughs and lets you do it.
Probably he kisses you cheek back, by instict, he doesn't think twice about it.
Then, when you left, he touched his cheek, not being able to forget how soft and warm your lips felt.
Expect him to be around you for the next hours or even days, kissing your cheeks in hopes that you kiss him back.
Zoro

He stays stoic, like his ussual slef, he could even try to move you away once you starto to kiss his cheek to much.
But in reality he is dying inside, from happiness, cuteness and excitement.
When you left he deflates, red as a tomato, he thinks that he was about to faint for a moment.
He woul be thinking of this for a couple of days, and expect him to volunteer on helping you on more projects for the future.
Sanji

He for sure gets petrified.
Love shaped eyes, heart pounding almost out of his chest, red face and a lot of fanboying things said.
"I helped Y/N-chwan and she kissed my cheek and said thank you, i can die happy now."
A small trail of blood comes from his nose but nobody needed to call Chopper, he was more that ready to follow you and continue to help you.
Ace
He sets himself on fire.
No questions asked, you both were doing some research and when you found out the solution you just jumped onto him and kissed him.
He froze and got almost like petrified.
Then you left and couldn't see how red he was and how some of the papers of the floor started to burn down.
Not to mention the little flames that appear on his shoulders and chest.

Here I go again
Red haired shanks
Part 1 part 2 part 3
The sun hung low over the Red Force, painting the sky in warm hues of orange and gold. The crew was celebrating on deck, passing around drinks and trading stories, but their captain wasn’t with them.
Shanks sat alone in his quarters, a half-empty bottle of rum on his desk. In his hands, he held a photograph—one he had carried with him for years.
The edges were worn, the ink slightly faded, but the image was burned into his memory as if it had been taken yesterday.
You stood in front of him, your back against his chest, his arms wrapped lazily around your waist. He was leaning down, whispering something in your ear, and you were laughing—head tilted back, eyes sparkling with the kind of happiness that couldn’t be faked.
His fingers traced the outline of your smile.
He could still hear your laughter, the way it used to echo across the deck on windless nights. He could still remember the exact moment that photo was taken—Buggy, grumbling about “stupid lovebirds,” had snapped it without either of you noticing.
He had kept it ever since.
With a quiet sigh, Shanks leaned back in his chair, letting his thoughts drift further into the past.
Years Ago - Your First Day on the Ship
He hadn’t expected you to fit in so quickly.
Most newcomers took time to adjust to life at sea, but you? You had stepped aboard the Red Force like you were made for it.
He remembered the way your eyes had lit up the moment you saw the open ocean, how you had leaned over the railing, mesmerized by the waves.
“I can’t believe this is real,” you had whispered, watching the sun reflect off the water.
Shanks had grinned, standing beside you. “Get used to it, sweetheart. This is just the beginning.”
You had turned to him, excitement buzzing in your veins. “What do you think is out there? Beyond the horizon?”
He had chuckled. “Adventure. Freedom. Trouble, if you’re lucky.”
And then, with that damn smile of his, he had added, “Stick with me, and you’ll see for yourself.”
And you had.
Until the night everything nearly changed.
The storm had come without warning—violent winds, waves crashing against the ship, the deck slick with rain.
Shanks had been on the quarterdeck, shouting orders to his crew, when he heard someone scream your name.
He turned just in time to see you lose your footing, the force of the wind knocking you off balance.
One second, you were there. The next, you were gone.
He didn’t think. He just moved.
He dove forward, his hand snatching your wrist just before the ocean could swallow you whole. Rain pounded against his skin as he strained to pull you back over the railing, his grip tightening like a vice.
Your wide eyes met his, terrified, breathless.
“Hold on,” he had growled, using every ounce of strength he had to haul you back onto the deck.
When you finally collapsed against him, shaking, he wrapped his arms around you without hesitation.
“You okay?” he had murmured, his voice uncharacteristically soft.
You had clung to him, your face buried against his chest. “You saved me.”
Shanks had only held you tighter. “Yeah. And I’ll do it again if I have to.”
And for a while, he had meant it.
Until the day he let you go.
Present Day
A knock at the door pulled Shanks from his thoughts.
Makino stood in the doorway, her soft smile warm as ever.
“There you are,” she said gently. “Everyone’s waiting for you.”
Shanks returned her smile, though it didn’t quite reach his eyes. “Yeah. I’ll be out soon.”
She nodded, but before she left, her gaze flickered toward the photograph still resting in his hand.
Her expression didn’t change. She didn’t say a word.
But she didn’t have to.
Shanks waited until she was gone before tucking the photo back into the locked drawer of his desk.
Back on the Island
You watched your daughter from across the room, narrowing your eyes.
Something was off.
She was fidgeting, avoiding your gaze, and you knew her well enough to know when she was hiding something.
“Alright,” you said, crossing your arms. “Spill it.”
She jolted. “W-What?”
“You’re up to something.” You took a step closer. “What is it?”
Your daughter hesitated, gripping the diary at her side. But before you could press further, you glanced out the window and noticed the first signs of wedding guests arriving in the village.
You sighed, rubbing your temple.
“We need more fruit for the tables,” you said. “Head into town and grab some before everyone gets here.”
Your daughter nodded a little too quickly. “Got it! Be right back!”
You watched her rush out the door, the feeling of unease still lingering.
You weren’t wrong.
Because as soon as she reached the village, she stopped by the small post station, slipping three carefully sealed letters into the hands of a messenger.
“Deliver these,” she said, voice quiet but firm. “Urgently.”
The man looked at the names scrawled across the envelopes.
Shanks.
Ace.
Zoro.
Your daughter swallowed, her heart pounding in her chest.
She had to know the truth.
And if her mother wouldn’t tell her, she’d bring the answers to her instead.

ACE having immense trouble sleeping in his bunk without you. he‘s always reaching out for your body, his hand tapping the empty, cold space beside him. he‘s missing your warmth badly, the way your body molded perfectly against his. the little touches of your fingertips along his underarm and the sweet, soft snores as you drifted away in his embrace. so when he had to sleep alone, he had a hard time to find a peaceful night. always hoping you would return in the middle of the night.
whitebeard sent you off on another mission, attempting to find information about a certain enemy. ACE who stands on the deck, leaning against the railing and watching the endless ocean waves around the moby dick. he eagerly awaits your return, always worried that one day you might not come back to him. he could not imagine a life without you by his side, trying to talk father into letting him accompany you but whitebeard always denied it as ACE was needed on the ship.
when you return to the moby dick with the needed information, whitebeard announced a great feast to celebrate your being healthy. while the others celebrate, dance, and drink, you’re caught up in the tight embrace of ACE‘s arms. a hand softly placed on your stomach, his chin on your shoulder while watching the crew enjoy the night. „i missed you,“ he would mutter once in a while, pecking the side of your throat while his cold chains graze your arms and spread shivers.

Ghost Ridders Cap.2
#Summary: Eight years ago, you were taken against your Will to Mary Goise to become the new slave of Saint Roswald, or rather, to living a hell on earth. One day, while you go with him on a visit to a New World´s island in the New World, but a familiar face appears. This creates the perfect opportunity for you to escape, join the Whitebeard Pirates, and discover more about your past, your abilities, and who you really are. All while you try to endure your new crewmate, Portgas D. Ace, who is incredibly annoying... or perhaps incredibly irresistible? You haven't decided yet.
This story is based in the world of One Piece, with the same characters and timeline. Of course, this story is fiction created by me. Some of the timelines, names, and characters might be the same, also some names, characters, stories, or even personalities may be altered. The story is happening pre-time skip, while strawhats are in sabondy for the first time.
The first chapter is an introduction to the current story, which begins with Ace as your central romance. (This romance may shift to other characters as the story progresses, but don't worry, there's still plenty of Ace to come.) The story is written in first person. Female gender, Y/N, but feel free to change the gender, name, or anything else that makes you more comfortable.♡
Feel free to interact, likes and comments are very welcome!!!!!!! Suggestions and constructive criticism are also appreciated.
Images are for more inspiration!!!!!

ACE'S POV I decided to sink into the water, so I grabbed the edge of the bathtub to maintain my balance since the water drains my energy. The supply run hadn’t gone as planned, but kicking that Celestial Dragon’s fat ass had been way more fun. Plus, there was a new entertainment: Marco’s sister. It had been a long time since someone new joined the crew.
We’d be reaching the Moby Dick soon, so I’d better hurry. I didn’t want to miss anything. I jumped out of the bathtub, ready to grab the towel that was hanging on the edge, when suddenly a silhouette quickly slid across the floor toward the exit. This silhouette wasn’t entirely familiar, yet not completely unknown either. That robe… was it… MARCO’S SISTER?
A smirk adorned my face. ¿Was she spying on me? ¿What was she doing here while I was bathing? Whatever the case, I would definitely use this situation to provoke some laughs and, who knows, maybe start a conversation. After all, she’s cute.
YOUR POV Everything went silent, but only for a few seconds before being interrupted by firm, quick footsteps moving down the hallway. When they seemed to be far away enough, I opened the door. The boy had left the bathroom, and his silhouette was barely visible at the end of the long hallway. It was the perfect opportunity to go back and finally get washed up.
After the bath, I dressed and tried to pull my hair into something between a ponytail and a bun. My hair was a mess, but given the situation, that was the least of my concerns. I put on a white shirt and some shorts that Marco had left on the infirmary bed, just as I heard a voice calling out getting closer.
“We’ve arrived. ¿Are you ready?” Marco said as he opened the door. “I’ve already spoken to Pops… well, Whitebeard. He’s waiting for you.”
I didn’t really know what to say, so I just followed him off the ship and onto one of the largest ships I had ever seen. On deck, a group of countless pirates crowded around something—or rather, someone—while others were busy loading and unloading various supplies between ships.
Marco headed to the center of the circle, making his way through the curious stares. Stares that were now directed at me. Shame and, above all, fear took hold of me as I tried to figure out what was happening and what awaited me.
Finally, in the center of the enormous circle formed by Whitebeard’s massive crew stood the largest man I had ever seen. Although he seemed to be teetering between life and death, his mere presence made my entire body tremble. He was strong, very strong—one of the strongest men I’d ever seen. I could feel it.
“Come closer, little one.” I approached as much as my trembling body allowed, without making eye contact with the man. “Speak. ¿Who are you?” he asked as I remained silent.
“I’m Marco’s sister,” I said, prompting an outburst of laughter from the crew.
“She’s a creep who likes watching me bathe.” The dark-haired boy pushed his way through the crowd and with a big smile on his face he stood right behind Whitebeard.
This time, the laughter was even louder. My face turned red, burning like the midday sun. ¿Did he see me? ¿But how? I swear he couldn’t have… It was impossible; there was too much steam… Agh! I can’t stand him, and on top of that, he says this in front of the whole crew. Fury slowly took over my entire body.
Then Whitebeard’s voice silenced everyone. “I already know who you are; Marco told me. Now, show me.” Whitebeard frowned and continued with a serious expression. “¿How do I know I can trust you? ¿Do you want to be part of this family?”
“I have nowhere to go,” I whispered just loud enough for him to hear.
“You need me, but ¿Why would I need you, girl?”
Terror began to grip me again, but this time it wasn’t because of the imposing figure in front of me. It was because of the loneliness and the thought of Saint Roswald reporting that I had escaped, and soon enough, CP0 would come searching for me. The mere idea of facing all of this alone gave me chills.
I looked at Marco for help. He responded by signaling for me to show Whitebeard my “worth.” But that voice… it echoed in my head over and over again… “If they find out who you really are, consider yourself a dead girl.” But I had to survive, and it was better to have allies than to be alone. If Marco trusted them, maybe I could too.
Whitebeard’s patience was wearing thin, and he proceeded: “Alright, you’ll face six of my commanders, one by one. If you defeat them, you can stay. If not, you’ll have to leave when you’re fully recovered.”
A wave of cheers and laughter filled the ship’s deck. Whitebeard raised a hand, and with it, everyone fell silent. “Izou, Haruta, Namur, Vista, Jozu, Ace… Defeat her. Oh, and Thatch… bring some sake; my throat is getting dry.”
The crew cheered again. “This is going to be fun,” Ace said with that stupid smile that was starting to get on my nerves. Maybe I could wipe it off his face—it was the perfect opportunity.
The only one who wasn’t cheering, laughing, or even smiling was Marco. Faced with Whitebeard’s proposal, he feared for his little sister’s safety. “Pops… that’s too much, maybe excessive. ¿Don’t you think? Let me talk to her, please she will show you. ” he begged Whitebeard.
“Begin, I’m starting to get bored,” Whitebeard said, ignoring Marco’s begs. “Ace, give me the key to the girl’s cuffs,” he demanded, holding out his hand.
“I don’t have any key, and besides, if you take off her cuffs… what fun would that be?” Ace added with his annoying smile.
“¡ACE!”
“Okay, okay, ¡¡going!!… Someone’s in a hurry today.…” Ace got up from his seat and walked towards me with the keys. ¿How this idiot have the keys to my cuffs? “You seem intrigued, peeping tom,” he said as he approached me. “The truth is... it was too easy to snatch this key from that fatass Celestial Dragon.” He grabbed my hands, and my stomach flipped; my cheeks turned pink, burning like fire again. ¡¿What’s happening to me?! ¿¡Am I blushing because of this idiot?! Ugh, no way. Maybe it’s just because he makes me so angry. Yes.....¡ yes!.
He quickly inserted the key and released the Sea Stone cuffs. A strange sensation shook my body—¿Was it energy? ¿Happiness? ¿Relief? I don’t know. But it had been a long time since I felt so good. “Good luck, sweetheart,” Ace whispered in my ear. In my ear… ¿When did he get so close? With a jump, he returned to his spot behind Whitebeard, eagerly anticipating the spectacle that was about to unfold.
Izou stepped forward. The crew cheered. “Don’t let me hit you" he said, looking at me with a pitying expression. The rest of the crew laughed and made comments. They were placing bets on how long I’d last while Thatch and a few others handed out drinks and toasted.
My stomach flipped again, and a mix of fury and embarrassment consumed me. Let them laugh, let them bet… ¿did they have no scruples? That only made me angrier. Suddenly, everyone fell silent, their expressions changing as if their mood had shifted in an instant.
“I see…,” Whitebeard said. Just then, a bullet shot past my arm at the speed of light.
Dodging bullets… Maybe this will be easier than I thought. Izou fired furiously, and his bullets sped toward me at lightning speed. I moved quickly, trying to dodge each and every one of them as both the bullets and I zipped across the deck while the rest of the crew tried to avoid us. After long minutes, one of the bullets grazed my face. It wasn’t a direct hit, but close enough to scratch me, and blood began to flow. Both Izou and I paused for a second.
“Y/N!!!!!!!!!!” Marco shouted.
“That’s enough. Haruta, you’re up,” Whitebeard added, and with that, Haruta charged at me fiercely, sword in hand, seemingly ready to cut me in half. Instinctively, I raised both arms to shield my body. My blackened arms prevented the sword from cutting me, but the impact sent me flying to the edge of the ship.
And so, one by one, I dodged and avoided each of the commanders who faced me, trying to show as little as possible of what I knew while still protecting myself. The truth was that none of them managed to seriously hurt me; Whitebeard stopped them after a few minutes of fighting, before that could happen. Maybe he didn’t want to kill me—just to see what I could do. Besides, defeating them all might have been impossible, given their immense strength.
“My turn,” Ace proclaimed before Whitebeard could even utter a word.
Ace jumped to the front. “Hey, peeping tom, don’t worry; I’ll make it easy for you. Besides, hitting pretty girls isn’t my style,” he said, winking. And with a leap into the air, his fist ignited in flames.
¿Who did he think he was? He made me so so furious…
Only Ace was left, and thank goodness, because the hits and wounds inflicted by the other commanders were starting to take their toll on me. A part of me wanted to punch Ace, to give him back all the embarrassment he had made me go through, and wipe that stupid smile off his face. To show him it was better not to mess with me.
But on the other hand, ¿Was hitting a commander a good idea? ¿What if it made Whitebeard angry...¿Would he kick you off his ship? ¿Abandon me to my own fate?
The urge to hit him was stronger than anything else, so I jumped up to his height and punched Ace in the face with Armament Haki and yes, I actually hit him because my fist sank into his cheek and sent him flying towards the bow. ¿Did just he let me hit him...?
Whitebeard burst out laughing, which made the rest of the crew follow suit, even Marco smiled. Everyone started commenting on how the new girl had punched Fire Fist Ace, taking it ironically and using it to tease Ace for the next few days, taking advantage of the situation to get under his skin.
Ace, not oblivious to all this, quickly got up and threw several fireballs in my direction, which I easily dodged. “We’re not done yet, peeper.” His cheek was now red from the punch, the only thing my eyes could focus on. It was clear that in a few days, he’d have a good bruise. While I was distracted looking at it, he launched another fireball that set the hem of my pants on fire, and my clothes began to burn. He threw another, but I didn’t dodge it either, and as it hit me square in the body, Ace looked on in horror as my body burned in flames.
The rest screamed in panic, while berating Ace for having gone too far. Everyone frantically searched for water to put out the flames on my body. Everyone except Whitebeard and Marco, who remained motionless at the horrible scene. I didn’t move either.
And suddenly, from the flames that gradually died down, a majestic albino lion, as white as snow, with feathered wings and ram horns, emerged from the fire. The screams of terror grew even louder, some muttering in fear, others filled with admiration.

“¿Is that her only form?” Whitebeard asked Marco.
“That’s the original. I haven’t seen it in 15 years. But I’m sure there are more; I don’t know much about the Chimera model yet.”
Shit. I used my devil´s fruit form... but other way i will be ashes by now.
While Marco and Whitebeard discussed my fate in the crew, my body returned to its human form, under the astonished gaze of the crew members.
“¡Little one! From today on, you’ll be part of the crew. You’ll help Thatch in the kitchen for now. Maybe we can find a place for you on the next mission.”
The crew began to cheer, tossing you into the air, laughing and dancing. “¡Let’s prepare a feast! Tonight, we’ll celebrate the new addition,” shouted one of the men. “¡LET’S GO!” the rest of the crew shouted in unison.
“You’ll get used to it girl, we always find a good excuse to celebrate” Vista laughed . “Yesterday, they celebrated Ace not falling asleep while eating.” Everyone burst into laughter.
“¿Are you okay?” Marco wrapped his arms around me. “Alright, guys, you heard it, this is my dear little sister. If anyone dares to bother her, she has my permission to kick your fat asses. And Ace… you… stay away, if you do anything to her, I’ll be the one kicking your ass.” Everyone started laughing and went back preparing the party or continuing with their tasks.
“Follow me.” Marco guided me through the ship towards some stairs that led down to another long, long corridor. “Here’s the infirmary, and next to it, Pops’ room. At the end are the commanders’ quarters. And there’s the library. I’ll talk to Pops about your medical skills and teach you everything I know. Maybe you can stay with me in the infirmary.”
“Marco… I… thank you.” I broke into tears. All the pressure, everything that had happened, and now a moment of hope. That lump in your throat that finally disappeared.
“Don’t cry, you’re here now, we’ll protect you. Come on, I’ll heal your wounds. Then I have to go see the other commanders.”
Marco healed your wounds and put a band-aid on your cheek to cover the wound caused by Izo’s bullet. “See you tonight.” And with a big smile, he disappeared.
I headed to the bathroom, which again… I didn’t know where it was, but it wouldn’t take long to find… And sure enough, just a few meters from the room I would be sharing with Marco from now on, there was the bathroom. I took off my clothes and got into one of the bathtubs, the water reaching my waist, and thank goodness, I still didn’t want to drown. After an hour in the water (Yes, I took my time, there wasn’t much else to do), I got out, grabbed a towel, and a voice woke me from my trance.
“You know… if you need help with your hair… I could help you, I also have makeup, and maybe we can find you some clothes.” Izou was leaning against one of the bathroom columns. I quickly tried to cover as much of my body as I could, while I blushed. “Look, it’s not that I have anything against your clothes, but the beggar look is no longer in fashion, besides, maybe this way you’ll forgive me for what happened to your face.”
“There’s nothing to forgive, I could have dodged it like you said, and I didn’t,” I replied with a smile.
For the first time since I know him, he smile.
“Let’s do something with that hair.”,
Izou cut my hair in layers, the best he could, with a big fringe on the sides, and with great skill, he dried and styled it. “Now we’d better go find you some clothes… Maybe Pops’ nurses have something. Wait here.”
While Izou left the bathroom, I couldn’t help but look at myself in the mirror, the hair… It was perfect, better than ever, it had never looked like this. I was starting to think that maybe I could be… ¿¡pretty?!
Izou abruptly appeared through the door again. “I think this will work for now… In two days, we’ll arrive at another island, you could buy some clothes there. I’m sure Marco will lend you some Berries.” He said as he handed me a crop top and a short skirt, maybe too short. “See you at the banquet.”

I dressed in the new borrowed clothes, which covered just enough to go trouhgt the night. "I should go up to the banquet". My stomach twisted with nerves. And it was normal, because except for Marco or maybe Izou in your brief interaction, the rest were complete strangers who either I had hit, or they had hit me.
I walked down the long corridor, ready to go out onto the deck. I could already hear the voices of people singing, dancing, even fighting in small groups, while the rest bet on who would take down whom. The noise made the nerves grow even more.
“Well, rookie, I almost didn’t recognize you.” A familiar voice interrupted my path. I turned around and… Ace. To be honest, he was pretty fit now that I take a good look at him. “Do you like what you see?” Again, my cheeks start burning, and I must have been staring longer than I thought because a cocky smile appeared on his lips.
“I… um… em” I tried to respond quickly, but neither my thoughts nor my words seemed to flow fast enough.
“I thought you were an intruder, but your silhouette is hard to forget,” he said with an even bigger smile. ¿What did he just say? ¿Had he noticed me? ¿Was he flirting with me, or was he just trying to make fun of me? “I saw you in the bathroom, ¿you know? Watching me, spying on me.”
“Whatever you say…” I replied, turning to continue my way to the party.
“I’m Ace, by the way. Commander of the Second Division,” he said, quickly catching up with me.
“Wow, impressive,” I said in the most sarcastic way I could.
“You know, rookie, you can sit next to me at the table, or Do you prefer to go hide under Marco’s skirts?”
---------------TO BE CONTINUED-----------------------
¿¿¿What you should do??? ¿Sit with ACE? Or maybe hide behind Marco??

You can no longer sleep or eat like any decent being.
A current known as “him” took over those needs. Floating in pure pleasure from everything he has done.
From those black eyes to his boyish face. With that nervous laugh of his. You can say that you were addicted to him.
Feeling a weight on your chest as you remember that kiss. As if it was his last day for his mouth. His manly hands hold you with care as he deepens the kiss. A feeling of his skin that became your vice. Engraving in your mind as it only happened that night.
A memory that stayed with you like a brooch pinned to your pillow. While he has a memory of a fish. He just couldn’t remember that night.
You’re addicted to him.
